So on the mainstream front there's a movie coming out called 7 Faces of Jack the Ripper which just had a red band trailer released.

It looks like it has some promise. There are definite mild gimp scenes, and at least one heavy one involving a dead topless damsel (at the end of the trailer).

One of the interesting tidbits occurred during a segment about WIP films. One of the talking heads, Kim Morgan, billed as a "film historian" commented about a shower scene with Pam Grier and another babe. She said, "Women like to see other women on screen naked and, y'know, doing stuff." (Pauses...then she looks into the camera) "What?"

Well, in my little corner of the realm it's been pretty hot (temperature-wise, that is). So I decided to throw a pool party and invite 200 of my closest friends and neighbors.

It was a bangin' party, good food, great music, everybody having fun...but nobody wanted to be the first in the pool. What's the point in having a pool party if you can't get anyone to go in the water?

So I grabbed Holly, stripped her, chained her up, and tossed her in.

I know I'd be interested to learn whether that copy is worth picking up. Certainly, the price is reasonable. I look forward to the update.

Since there are quite a few people here familiar with asian films, JAV movies etc, - is there an asian version of ISOYG, or a similar film? The Japanese do the whole degradation thing really well, and ISOYG is still the the best mean/violent rape scene on film - any reviews on their uncensored films which are more rape/bdsm themed?

I may be wrong, but I think it would be very difficult to find an uncensored JAV film that meets your criteria. I don't think the uncensored stuff tends to go into that area -- at least, not in a non-consensual way.

As for the censored stuff, my advice would be to look for older films -- most of the "rape" movies coming out of Japan these days tend to include scenes of doggie-style and cowgirl positions that look really phony. Maybe that helps them stay within the law. Who knows?

You might want to try Shark-237. It's been years since I have seen it but I seem to recall it was pretty intense, particularly in the beginning. Here is the link to the Attackers page if you want to see the stills.

One of my all-time faves is Shark 231, particularly the first half featuring the stun-gun torture and raping of Sayaka Miura. There are also some nice belly shots in this one. It continues to rank as one of the best GIMP films ever, in my view.

In terms of rape and degradation, I thought one of last year's releases, New Teacher Gets Violated, had an excellent mix of both. That films stars Ichika Kuroki, who is lovely and a convincing actress. It would be a stretch, though, to suggest it's as mean-spirited as ISOYG.

A few more thoughts....

A film that might be worth checking out is Battlefield Gangbang. This one was reviewed by both Sloth and myself, earning a higher grade from me.

Meanwhile, here are a few others that are on my radar but I haven't seen them yet.

One is called Siege, which is an Attackers film about women being raped during a bank robbery. The trailer looks pretty good.

Another Attackers film due out this month is Attackers JBD-162. The trailer for that one also looks quite good.

Finally, one of the films that's on my list has a name that is something like Blonde Haired Women Captured. It's a Japanese porn film featuring English-speaking actresses who are captured and raped. The trailer looks interesting.

The video that was posted was labeled "2 damsels in distress gagged & bound", (http://www.flickr.com/photos/96500024@N07/8848604696/) not sure if that was the original name or not. The quality of the snapshot isn't that great as the pic was smaller and I enlarged it to be more visible.

In mainstream movies as well as bondage films generally, the prettier the performer, the more lightweight the material. That's why I was blown away by her performance. Of course, she wasn't tied up, but make no mistake about it, she was definitely victimized throughout the entire film. If this were a perfect world and bondage films were acceptable in today's society, there's no doubt in my mind she would be the biggest star of the medium.

It was called Not Quite Hollywood. From what I remember, it was a fun doc although not all that exciting as a GIMP film.

Machete Maidens Unleashed!: Nice review. MMU was on a pay channel not long ago, might have been HBO. Really good show. Those guys wrote the book on sexploitation and the ladies were smoking. I didn't get as much a thrill from it as find it interesting. I wonder if they edited it for pay TV. The clips were rather short but some were a bit tasty. The sweat soaked look and over the top action of those Philippine masterpieces are still high on my list of all time greats.

Rape Jokes: I saw this http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/29/facebook-rape-jokes-protest_n_3349319.html in reference to so called "rape jokes" on Facebook. While I generally don't find these frat boy style jokes funny, (I'm sticking to Grumpy Cat), I do question the wisdom of this type of action.

The fourth film has the same stars as Lady Attackers from Hell 3: Maki Mizusawa, Tazuna Ichikawa, Azusa Nagasawa, Yu Kawakami and Hana Yoshida. I'm not sure if all five ladies have GIMP scenes in the fourth film but the trailer showed some rape scenes featuring Asuza and Yu that looked quite promising. There were also some hot-wax tortures that looked like they might be good.

Information about the film should appear on the Attackers website tomorrow. I'll post more details as they become available.

In Anette's Debut, we're introduced to the titular character/actress in a manner reminiscent of Bloodsucking Freaks. The movie opens with two naked slave girls bringing a heavy wooden chest to their master, a mysterious cloaked master (Dr. Lomp) aided by a cane-wielding female enforcer. The two slaves are dismissed and Dr. Lomp opens the chest to reveal his newest acquisition, a blonde-haired beauty that already bears the mark of the whip and the cane on her body. This, we learn, is "Anette".

In a flashback sequence, we learn that she was abducted off the street, and the rest of the movie is dedicated to how she was transformed from defiant young girl to obedient sex slave through bondage and flogging. Ok, that's the basic premise.

First off, "Anette" has a fine young body, always important in this kind of film. Here's what it looks like, before things get violent.

Secondly, I love the classic St. Andrew's Cross. It's a great position that makes just about any woman look ten times hotter. And really, Anette is so hot that you just want to reach out and run your hands all over her body, stroking her breast, squeezing a nipple. Thankfully, that's exactly what Dr. Lomp has in mind for starters.

Then the fun starts. This is early in the session.

Eventually, her willpower is broken and she promises to obey. As a warning, she's then taken to another room, where the two naked slaves we saw in the opening scene are standing, hands behind their backs, with fish hooks through their nipples (exclamation point!) and lines attached above their heads such that, as the slaves breathe, the hooks tug on their nipples (double exclamation point!!). If there's one thing I have to give credit to Mood Pictures for, it's coming up with some truly mind-boggling tortures. And in this film, you not only see the finished product, you also get to see "behind the scenes" when the producer was prepping the two actresses to suffer for the scene. And they truly do suffer for their art.

We see the hooks going in and hear the actresses groaning in pain, before the cameras even start rolling for the film proper. There's nothing fake here but the dialogue.

And that's just the first five minutes.

I won't go into detail on all of the tortures she suffers, but suffice to say that she spends more time on the St. Andrew's Cross and becomes intimately familiar with candle wax, binder clips, and a riding crop.

The movie then jumps back to the scene where it opened, with Anette in Dr. Lomp's chamber. Her spirit broken, she obediently bends over a chair, where she receives her daily flogging with a cane. To her credit, you can tell when an actress is really suffering because she sweats, and Anette doesn't disappoint. Her skin is glowing from exertion as she struggles through the scene.

At barely thirteen minutes, the story itself is pretty short. However, the "behind the scenes" footage makes up for the shortness of the film, for a total elapsed time of about sixteen minutes. That's three minutes of "Is that woman really going to let him stick a hook through her nipple?" that will make you squirm in your seat.

So, let's recap. First you have a lead character with a fine young body. Second, you have some diabolical tortures on the X-cross. Third, you have fish hooks through nipples. That's three redeeming qualities about this film. If I have to level a criticism it is that, that's all there is. There's not a lot of variety other than what I've written so far. Even the caning is a bit short and there is no real drama before it happens, or even during the application of the strokes. The idea was good, but there was so much more that could've been done, but wasn't.

Overall, I get the feeling that the producers had a lot more planned, but for one reason or another, they just didn't (or couldn't) publish the rest. So, you take what you can get. And really, it makes a good shorty. Image clarity is fine, audio is fine, and the girls act well enough. If you're into hot blondes with nice asses getting caned, this is worth checking out.

My rating: B - due to length.

Facebook bans rape joke pages: Interesting article, Rick. I wasn't aware these pages existed; kind of a shame that Facebook is pulling them before I had a chance to check them out.

I think you'd be stupid as hell to create and post on anti-women Facebook pages, since these are all public pages and anybody can access them and read what you've posted, including friends or employers. I have a Facebook account (under my real name) and I sure wouldn't want to be seen as coming out in favor of violence against women or joking about it. I prefer to keep my pervert side separate from my public persona.

On the other hand, I happen to think some rape humor is hilarious, mainly because it's just sooooo anti-PC to make jokes about forbidden subjects. A site like this, of course, is an acceptable forum for material like this. We're not afraid to be politically incorrect here, which is just the way I like it.

Looking at the picture of Anette flanked by girls with hooks in them, one is tempted to imagine her saying, "I sure hope they don't deflate my lovely tits like they did with these two chicks."

Ho hum, is this really even news? The government has been monitoring electronic media since the Patriot Act (implemented by the Bush regime, I shouldn't have to mention). This is simply a continuation of the same. No one is listening in on your phone calls; this has been going on for years as a matter of national security. If you're not a terrorist or involved in illegal activities, you have nothing to worry about.

I seriously doubt you're going to be targeted for visiting a website that talks about women being tied up.

In the book, there's a great scene where a slave girl is caught spying and bound AOH, "blonde and young and naked but for her welts", in the dungeon of an evil wizard. She's tortured with stappado, then burned with hot irons until she confesses that she's a spy. The wizard then commands a magic sword to fly through the air and slay her.

To a teenager, this was great stuff, and certainly influenced my interest in GIMP and bondage scenarios. The story itself is interesting and features one of my favorite Conan sidekicks, Isparana of Zamboula, a beautiful woman prone to thievery and seduction, who is generally fun to have around the oasis on those long desert journeys from one mosque to another.

There was a comic book adaptation of the book which had Isparana in place of the slave girl, nearly naked but for a G-string and nipple-plates, and Conan comes to her rescue before she talks.

Someday they'll make a movie out of that novel, and hopefully the producers will take some cues from "Spartacus" and "Game of Thrones" and keep the nudity, plus add a bit more. I'd be the first in line at the theater!

What we GIMPERS need to watch for is any evidence that one of our own has -- as a result of this spying -- been taken into custody, or even outed, for his tastes in the erotic.

And who would they start with? Well. If we notice that our diminutive moderator seems to have gone missing and that posts by Singer become more frequent and go undeleted, we may start to worry that the poor little guy been renditioned to some Black-Site in Romania and told that if he doesn't talk he will be forced to watch Bill Zebub movies on a loop --- then we might want to become a bit concerned.

Although considering this SCOTUS just found that local police can take a DNA sample in an arrest without a charge we are simply no longer a free people. I do agree with Mark Steyn that we are witnessing the end of Western Civilization. I'd call that damn serious.

Second, This was not happening before, at least not on this level. One of the Authors of the Patriot act (Sensenbraunner) makes it clear that the statute only applies to foreigners suspected of Terrorism who are calling Americans from outside the country. Agreed. But many of my favorite scenes are those where the poor damsel struggles until the knife is flashed and she is left to ponder the alternatives. A bit of surrender isn't all bad. Of course, the serrated knife sharpener in the background does spark the imagination.

Actually, I agree with you, though. Branding will mark up the skin, but the fun of applying the brand outweighs the unsightliness of the resulting scar. Plus the look on her face when you hold a glowing, smoking piece of metal close to her skin is priceless. I could even live without the lovely moment when the burning metal makes contact with the skin and she lets out a painful scream that would wake the dead...naw, let's not live without that; it's the best part.

And don't overlook the impact of a knife on a woman. I'd be willing to bet that most women fear knives far more than even a gun that could blow them away with a single shot. The fear of being cut or disfigured by the blade of a knife...and therefore losing their biggest drawing card, their attractiveness...probably resonates more panic than even losing their life.

Any women out there care to comment? If you were being threatened, what would scare you more, a gun or a knife?

A partially censored version was reprinted in Conan Saga #61 through #63. Sometimes they'd draw clothes on the naked girls. I miss the glory days of the Marvel B&W magazines.

There have been several mainstream movies that show villains cutting away gimp's clothing with a knife to rape and/or torture them which I can't for the life of me remember the name of them.

There was a 1987 flick out of Canada titled Don't Turn Out the Light that has a memorable cut-off-the-clothes scene. Following a home invasion (also my favorite), a baddie takes a cute houseguest into a back room and as he snips away he tells her how much he knows about each type of fabric she is losing because his mother was a seamstress. You could cut the fear and sexual tension with --- well-- a knife. The scene is followed by an audible but unfortunately off-screen rape. Later the mistress of the house is forced to strip. One of my favorite VHS, from the days when we could cruise the aisles of the video stores for some surprising nuggets.

There was a nice clothes-cutting scene in Strange Days although the instrument was not a knife, but a box cutter. Lengthy scene as well.

Also, Amy Hesketh (as Jane von Detlefson) got her clothing cut in both Agent X and Fantom.

After the news about the death of Jean Stapleton ("All in the Family"), I did a little bit of research about the cast and the show. Sally Struthers, who played cute adult daughter Gloria, is quoted in IMDb as saying:

If a man is pictured chopping off a woman's breast, it only gets a R rating, but if, God forbid, a man is pictured kissing a woman's breast, it gets an X rating. Why is violence more acceptable than tenderness?

Well, I'm not sure which movies she was talking about, but I'm guessing that she was referring to ratings that were handed out in the late 1960s or early 1970s for some movies that were more freewheeling about sexuality. The first Emmanuelle movie, as well as some works by Russ Meyers, initially earned an X; the NC-17 rating came along later, I believe. Plus, there were some pornos that tried to be cute by promoting themselves as parodies of well-known stories, such as Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella (a musical porno, can you believe it?); but they still got an X rating.

I happen to be the model for all of the Bunny Bound comic book art and website updates while Dick is the super talented artist. We both collaborate on the stories and predicaments and have taken a lot of cues from such wonderful sources as Ilsa : She Wolf of the SS, other G.I.M.P.Y movies and the fantastic and amazing ZFX films and of course Red Feline as well, both being HUGE fans!

Some of you may know of me from frequenting the Dark Fetish Network Website where I love to take suggestions and requests from like minded fans that could eventually make it in to new comic book material or weekly updates...I'll eventually be modeling for it all in front of the camera, so it's win win for both Dick, the artist AND myself!

I used to love those old men's magazines with the GIMP covers - they really inspired my own writing - now if I try to buy them on ebay Canadian customs will probably seize them.

Together, Dick and I really want to give ESPECIALLY everyone here everything they'd LOVE to see GIMP wise and do stuff that is so lacking in mainstream entertainment and even specific BDSM sites. Today's Pic: Ah, Schoolgirls in Chains (1973) - what a weird little cinematic gem that was. Of course, the poster art is quite a departure from the movie itself. Yes, there are three captive babes, but only two are schoolgirls. It's not a well-made movie but the rape scene on the couch was interesting. IMDb notes that 30 seconds were cut from that scene to earn the movie an R-rating instead of X. Wonder what the discarded 30 seconds contained?

Bunny Bound: Great to finally see you over here on our forum. Bunny and I are friends from one of my very infrequent visits to Dark Fetish Network. She's a very cool chick who digs the same stuff we do, and I can recommend her fully illustrated graphic novel "Love Really Hurts", which I purchased last week. It's a lot of fun; it goes way over the top with its torture depictions but also has a sense of humor so it's not a totally grim experience. And best of all, it's really cheap, only 6 bucks for a digital download. I think most of you guys will like it.

There's a fella in Tennessee, Rich Oberg, whose collection numbers in the thousands - but of special interest is he also owns the original artwork used on both covers and interiors by the illustrators Eastman, Saunders, Duillo, Minney, Popp, Doore and others - am green with envy.

Last month I chopped up a very poor copy of Men Today, August 1965, and sent in the back cover to "Learn Radio Television Electronics by Practicing at Home in Your Spare Time" - for reasons not yet clear I haven't heard back from them - probably just very busy this time of year.

Can you tell me if the victim is tied up while the guy is cutting off her clothes?

She is not tied. The Neanderthal partner (Skull) has the houseguest's hands pinned over her head firmly against a wall as the tailor snips. And although the cutting of the top is a cinematic masterpiece, the scene cuts away before he finishes with the denim shorts. The scene lasts about a minute. Later there is a shot of the naked victim whimpering in a corner. Late in movie there is another minute long scene with the lady of the house, after being tied and gagged briefly in the basement, stripping in return for not having her son offed and her little girl messed with. They never get to the sex because the friggin' husband comes to the rescue. That's about it. Those GIMPERS desiring graphic visuals might be disappointed. But the woman are good-looking and I am good at filling in the blanks.

Aside from the stuff that we're doing, I'd really like to contribute as much as I can on regular topics here on the forum too, and I welcome anyone here to please comment or suggest ideas to me as well...I love feedback! Again, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be part of the forum and especially having one of the comic book images of me posted here! I will talk to you all again soon! :)

For a true sadist it is essential to see that the abuse of the victim is real. No amount of wriggling and writhing, with wires touched together with sparks flying and dials pulsating are in the least persuasive. See, unhappily, contrarily, Agent X.

At the end of every DVD, (these remarks are based on acquaintance with several dozen productions), there are credits for both make-up artists and hairdressers.

While the plots of a number of films involve women who would be concerned with their appearance, a number of the scenarios are set in jails (for most of you, I think; in my part of the world 'goal'!), and many in prison camps and some in concentration camps.

The idea that women in these circumstances would be both concerned with their appearance and have the access to the necessary cosmetics is fanciful.

Further, as the women are naked for their punishments, it is clear that both pubic hair and armpit hair has been removed.

For me, this diminishes the realism of the scene.

I find that natural body hair gives women an appealing animal quality. (This is in no way intended to be sexist. The same observation is true of men).

Although Ms. H. seems very attached to her pubic hair, bleaching it when appropriate to match her head hair, we see no armpit hair for her or any of her fellow actresses. Women in the time of 'Mal.' and 'Dead but Dreaming', and many of the other films, did not shave their armpits!

Let us have women in their full physicality! For many of us (I am sure that I speak for more than just myself), that corporeality delights beyond belief.

Regarding your observation that armpit hair gives women an appealing animal quality, I think we can agree to disagree. I don't mind if pussies are shaved, but to me, women with hairy pits have a less than feminine quality about them. Someone brought up that it was not historically accurate for the women in Maleficarum to have shaved armpits, but on that matter, I say screw accuracy and give me some of that 21st century grooming. They're trying to sell some movies here. You do that by using attractive female leads and cleaning them up to modern-day standards.

Hmmmm...I'm not sure that she enjoyed it, but she definitely experienced it. Suffering for one's art is a very commendable trait, and just one of the many reasons why Amy is beloved by the readers of this site. Being tortured for real on camera takes a special kind of performer, one who obviously has a masochistic streak and who, admittedly or not, "gets off" on being abused. The adrenaline rush of performing a difficult setpiece and truly suffering probably gets her going. Again, a challenging statement. I consider myself a true sadist and IMO, the abuse doesn't have to be real to turn me on. The difference with me is that it has to be believable. I don't mind being fooled with skillful acting or special effects, as long as the illusion is convincing enough that I can believe the fantasy. I thought the electro scene in Agent X was convincing because of Amy's acting. By your definition, it would have only worked if she were being shocked for real. A nice thought, but few actresses are going to willingly get zapped through the nipples for a role in a movie. Most (but not all) electro scenes in films are simulated. To do otherwise could be quite dangerous.

But let's get back to your statement and find out what others have to say about it. Besides, we haven't done one of these in a while.

To go even further, it should be noted that in days of old, prisoners were not just beaten, whipped and stretched - they were mangled and mutilated. I was just reading about Guy Fawkes, the dude who was involved in a plot to blow up the English Parliament back in Shakespeare's time. They tortured him for days to get information out of him. Apparently, back then hangings were not always (or even often) fatal, because once they hung you, you were then disemboweled, drawn and quartered (for amusement purposes). Fawkes is said to have broken his neck jumping from the gallows to avoid having to face this ordeal.

Realism? Yeah, within limits.

I think a convincing simulation is more preferable most of the time to me compared to real torture but in Maleficarum, Amy's for real dungeon and spit roast torture did make that movie much more erotically enjoyable and successful I believe. So it depends on the type gimp movie. What type of torture too.

I believe Ralphus it was me that brought up the "Why Amy had no armpit hair" curiosity question which was really no big deal to me for made no difference in Maleficarum's storyline or quality. Bill K.

I think the question is phrased a bit strangely. For me, a "convincing simulation" is entirely acceptable. The scenes that I enjoy (severe interrogation) are themselves "simulated" (and, I hope, "convincing"), so a "convincing simulation" of the victim's abuse is consistent with the rest of the scene. But that doesn't mean that it is "preferable." Since I enjoy scenes with severe interrogation, I would not any such scene to be entirely real, but a scene in which the victim is actually experiencing some degree of pain (made "convincingly" to look more severe than it might actually be) is the perfect balance for me.

I'm clear on this one. I not only do not need for the pain to be real, I do not want it to be real. Just as I have a great appreciation for an actor who can sell a performance on the "legitimate" stage and screen, I have a similar appreciation for a woman who can sell the look and actions of one who is in pain in a GIMP offering. I have seen clips occasionally on the free sites when I even wondered whether the action was - in reality - consensual. That's not to say that I can't enjoy seeing real pain, but I don't need it, and I want to know that the performer experiencing it knows it came with the territory and is OK with that.

Galahad - Regarding the armpit hair. Maleficarum is a fiction film, not a documentary. Same with Dead But Dreaming. Unless I'm completely out in left field here, real vampires do not exist, either. ;) I'm just kidding with you. I know how much you appreciate the movies.

Ralphus - You are correct in assuming that I didn't "enjoy" the torture, much less the roasting scene in Maleficarum. But when I see the movie, even the rushes at the end of the day, from any film, I think, "Awesome! That looks fantastic. I'm ready for another day of this.". For that matter, it was really nippy taking my clothes off in front of a glacier. Cold, thought I would get hypothermia. Looks great in the film (La Montana Interior - Diego Torres).

When I start talking more about Dead But Dreaming, I wonder if the scenes in that are not more disturbing to me than Maleficarum. Physically and psychologically. Maybe it's because they're fresher in my mind.

I let my peripheral vision wander over to Jac's screen today, where he's fine cutting, sound mixing, and color correcting Dead But Dreaming. The whipping scene is really intense, then he went back to the rape scene. OMG. I couldn't watch. Really, I could not watch.

I remember when we were shooting that scene (my character, after being incarcerated, is held down and raped by several soldiers one after the other). The make-up artist asked if she could leave the room. She started crying. After we finished shooting, she went into the ladies room for 20 minutes to gather her senses. Someone had to go get her so we could continue shooting.

The next day of shooting was the whipping scene, I had bruises on my arms and ankles (you can see them in the movie), and in other places, from the actors grabbing me the day before. Did they actually rape me for real? No, it's a movie. Did I enjoy the scene? Can't even watch it. Does it have a big impact in the film? Sure does! And that's why I do it. This is the legacy I will leave behind me as an actress, it's important to me that I gave my heart, body and soul to every film I make. Of course I get a rush from performing a difficult scene. And the subject matter we deal with is obviously to my liking. Big time.

Also concerning realism, sometimes accidents happen. We recently, as you all know, shot the remaining scenes for Dead But Dreaming. Mila gets nailed to a cross. We had a fine strapping young lad, Pablo (also my dear personal trainer and friend) doing the nailing. He practiced swinging the hammer, we set up the scene, the camera was rolling. Then he slipped. Mila screamed. He took the nail away, and lo and behold. Real blood. Pablo nearly fainted from shock. I couldn't believe it at first, and then ran for my first aid kit. Mila is fine, her hand is fine and all healed now. And I made her go get Tetanus shots. Big rusty nail, yeah. I'm sure Margot will post a picture if anyone is interested in seeing that. We try to avoid accidents like that at all costs, but sometimes these things happen. I'm sure Pablo will get it right next time. ;) Although, I'm not sure Jac will ever let him touch a hammer ever again.

I've been working diligently on the new Official poster of Dead But Dreaming, so here it is, folks!

The one area where the real stuff kinda works for me is face slapping. On that note, I have noticed in the trailers that credible face slapping seems to be making a return to the Attackers films.

In pretty much everything else, though, I prefer for it to be faked.

I don't want to see anyone being hurt.

Equally important, the fake stuff is often more effective as GIMP material.

For example, I like the harsh whippings in the ZFX movies. I know the women aren't really being whipped but the brutality of the scenes is excellent.

By contrast, a bondage film that shows a guy gently using a real whip on a woman is useless.

It is much better for a production to focus on depicting harsh punishment and convincing scenes of peril, rather than "keeping it real."

I want no one hurt, so a convincing simulation is fine. It's like the rest of it being realistic. Is she tied up tight, is she wearing realistic clothes, does she have pubic hair and is not loaded with tattoos. Look real is the word any way you cut it.

Simulated abuse is actually preferred by me, so long as the acting is convincing. I prefer simulated suffering because a) it can be extended longer, and b)the actress is more likely to be totally hot. After all, you won't find too many dancers/models who are willing to be welted up doing a movie during the day when they have to be ready for the club later that night. The problem is that very few actresses know what it's like to actually be whipped, and tend to fall into two camps - under-emoting (see "Slave Huntress" by Bound Heat) and over-emoting (see just about anything from Teraz Films). That's a result of poor directing or impatience or both.

What's interesting about Mood Pictures is that the reactions are real (or real enough) because we can see that the actress is actually being subjected to whipping/caning/whatever. I'm not really into truly whipping a woman to the point that she bleeds, or caning her so bad that welts the size of ropes are raised on her skin. That's bordering on abuse to humanity. But I do favor raising a good sweat on her body, because that's realistic. When your body works, it sweats, and torture certainly works your body. If a simulated scene is done realistically, that's good enough for me.

Bunny Bound: Welcome to the GIMP! I'm so glad to see you finally delurked and joined the fun. I'm sorry I've been out of touch for a while, but I have not been spending much time at DFN on the advice of my virus-check program. I think the admins there have got things back under control, so I'll have to catch up on your latest updates. I did drop by your site a few times, but not much had changed. I'm really looking forward to your latest comic adventure, so along with your modeling duties, make sure you keep after Dick to get 'er done.

To everyone else on the board, I will echo Ralphus' endorsement of Dick and Bunny's work. For those bemoaning the disappearance of GIMP artists who still do traditional pen-and-ink drawings (Dolcett, Silvio Dante, and far too many others), this is your chance to support at least one enterprise that is bucking the tide of 3D graphics. As you can tell from the pics of the day, Dick's art is first-rate, and if you buy the comics, you'll also appreciate that he is equally good at writing the narrative.

Thanks to you and Jim for digitizing one of the stories - it does hold up well after half a century(!). I guess they are old men magazines after all.

In their heyday, there were scores of these publications available, most of which are chronicled in this book (worth the price). The ones put out by Emtee Publications always had at least one or two GIMP tales. I still have a few dozen in my collection and should probably make the effort to digitize them. It's daunting work though.

In the meantime, a few of the mags are available in PDF format here. At under four bucks a copy, they are far cheaper than those sold for exhorbitant prices by E-Bay vendors. Each issue has been scanned complete with advertisements, so the rest of us can join Sloth and sign up for that Learn Radio Television Electronics course.

Poll: Easy one for me - not only do I "prefer" a convincing simulation, I find deliberate depiction of actual abuse and pain a turn-off. Why? I can never be sure whether the actresses' consent to submit to real punishment is motivated by pleasure, money, or some form of coercion. Unlike Amy, few of these women drop around here to reassure us they are doing it because they enjoy it. Further, the fantasy perils I prefer could not be legally depicted if they were performed for real, even consensually. Don't get me wrong? I'm okay with the actress feeling some pain and discomfort as part of the performance, but knowing this does not add anything to what I am watching. The scene remains a simulation nonetheless.

Dick is really doing his best with producing the art and from what I've seen last week, he's really outdone himself on the new stuff and the new color stuff. Again, I just want to thank you all and let you know that if you have any weird GIMP fantasies you are dying to see drawn, let me know and we'll either consider putting it into a story or a pinup on the site! As to the poll, I'll shoot whatever the customer wants to pay for & the model is willing to legally endure. That said, staged abuse is by far and away way more visually brutal. Real extreme abuse, is too empathy invoking.

In the next graphic novel we do a smoking fetish/torture where I'm forced to smoke a whole pack of cigarettes and put them out in my belly button...that's for Ralphus LOL! :) And in the upcoming weekly updates, there is a long story about me being raped and horrifically tortured by mutant toxic plants...it's not 'for the faint of heart' as Dick always says...that one's for Rick Masters :) Not really, but we're sure he'll like it! NSA Spying: The fact is, they are breaking the law and are going far beyond the scope they claimed they were, thus they are also lying to us. It is unacceptable. I would not be so naive as to think that just doing nothing wrong today would ensure that this type of Orwellian over reach won't be used in some dastardly way in the future.

It is a compromise on our liberty and privacy and entirely illegal. I am deeply disappointed in the government once again, but honestly, I am not surprised.

Bush took us down this path but Obama could have stopped it and he didn't. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and someday those intentions may be less than noble.

Some further thoughts about the photos that you posted on Facebook.

It seems that, for the crucifixion scene, Mila is not naked. Perhaps her garment is spread so that the front of her body is displayed.

As a number of contributers to this site have observed; if you have a woman at one's mercy, why should you not strip her naked.

I hope that you and your colleagues are not becoming genteel and proper in your collective old ages!

I found a new whipping scene: Karina Testa gets whipped (but not bound) in "Odysseus", a new French series.

Silvio Dante: Wow, it's an honor to have you here. BTW, this is really the guy, he also contacted me via e-mail and asked about the site.

I'm a big fan of your work; I ran part of a series from "Royal Blood" at the top of the site a while back and it got a lot of positive feedback. Some of it was too over-the-top for even this site, which, truthfully, was typical of your work. Some of your art went further than I like, with bloody disembowelments and scatological themes, but all of it was rough and nasty and drawn extremely well. It's a perfect example of Rick Masters' statement of how you can never go as far in reality as you can in fantasy. A lot of the stuff you created was pretty incredible and I haven't seen it duplicated anywhere else.

Did Drawing Palace ever set limits and tell you not to go there? I'm guessing not. They were a perfect showcase for you. It's a real loss to the bondage community that they are gone now. Do you still create art anywhere on the web? If not, it's a damn shame because you have a great imagination.

Gog: Nice link; it led me to another interesting clip from a movie I had never heard of. Check out this scene from Reservoir Cats. Yes, it's an Australian remake of the Tarantino film with an all-female cast. The most famous scene of the film is automatically improved by having the cop played by a lady. And besides that, I've always been a fan of Kylie Minogue's version of the Loco Motion.

I like Clooney movies, so one day I noticed a "Director's Cut" of "From Dusk Till Dawn", so I end up watching it.......I couldn't find any differences in this so called "Director's Cut". And if there were any differences, they had to so freaking minute, that they ended up being totally imperceivable. "Director's Cut", Unrated Version"......most of the times, just rip-offs.

Caged (2011): "After years of suppressing her desires, Stella finds she can no longer ignore her deep-rooted longings. Even as her husband uncovers his Stella's secret life, he can't do much more than give her the freedom that she obviously needs, in the hope it's all just a phase. Then one day she finds herself lying unconscious in a basement cell, with no idea how she arrived there. Days go by when an other woman is brought into her cell. Christine, a woman about the same age. In the following days they reveal their life stories to one other. Christine is convinced that the reason for their captivity lies in Stella's lifestyle."

Now, there is a 'mystery' to this story, but amusingly enough, even though I couldn't understand the language, I figured out the 'big reveal' well before the end. The acting is pretty darn good, and Chantel Demming does one hell of a job conveying her fear. The first scene where she's bolted down to the bondage table she's so scared she pees herself! In every scene her captor (captors if you are paying attention, you can figure this out) is dressed in white plastic/ rubber overalls, and a theater mask.

The wonderful thing about a mainstream bondage scene is the acting and camera angles are so much better, and here is an exquisite example of why mainstream is so much better than porn. Demming's character is completely naked, and the camera even lingers a bit between her legs in shots.

Her character finds herself bound to the table in three separate scenes. Her kidnapper uses some type of knock out gas to subdue her while he strips her and binds her to the table (not shown). The second scene she wakes up and her captor is actually shaving her pussy. She acts appropriately horrified.

Not too much later, her captor returns and begins to totally molest her, squeezing her breasts, rubbing his (?) hands all over her belly, and then finally between her legs. He fingers her (implied, but still rather graphically shown), and pinches her nipples, the scene lasts quite some time, and finally, against her will she is brought to climax. The scene ends with her screaming angrily at being violated in such a way.

The movie's other sex scenes are rather interesting as well. There is one other bondage scene, in which one of her lovers binds her hands to the bed face down, and in an upper spread eagle and takes her from behind, but it is a consensual scene so I did not include caps.

Overall, I'm going to have to give this movie an A. The story is actually interesting, the bondage scenes are outstanding, and there's a nice reveal at the end as to who Stella's kidnapper(s) are.

BTW, check out URL for a deleted scene. No GIMPage but gives a feel for what the actress looks like.

Set-up: Amy is in a long distance relationship, and makes a road trip to see her lover's residence and meet the family for the first time.

Opening scene (at Amy's home): In the closing stages of a love-making session with her long-distance boyfriend, who has come to stay with her for a few days. Now in each other's arms, in the after-glow; small talk about coming to where he lives and meet the family.

Fast-forward to the goodbye for now at the airport where Amy commits to come and visit when she gets vacation in a few weeks. BUT.....she will only come by driving as she "never flies".

Two weeks pass and it's time for the cross country road trip. A phone call to the boyfriend, and she's off. Hours into the trip she pulls off and checks her map as she gets a cup of coffee at a roadside inn.. She doesn't realize, however, that she had left the map on the roof of her car when she returned to the road. Now driving through the mountains, she realizes that her map is missing. She tries to call, but cell phone reception is lost. She pulls over to think of what to do next. Parked, she see a lake through the trees in the distance. She decides to takes a walk down to the lake.

Down at the shore of the lake now, she takes in the beauty of her surrounding. It's a particularly hot day.....and the lake seems totally isolated, so Amy decides to take a dip to cool off. As she disrobes, she continually looks around to make sure she's the only one there. Feeling confident that, that is the case, she goes on to take a cooling skinny-dip. BUT....she's not alone. Eyes have been on her from the moment she arrived.

Amy now returns to where she left her clothing.....but to her horror, they're gone. She covers herself with her arms and hands as she looks over her surroundings. She suddenly hears animal calls, but it's obvious that they are being made by people. She makes a quick dash to her SUV, but when she gets to where she left it parked, it's nowhere to be found. The animal calls now become vulgar comments of what the unseen tormentors are wanting to do to her. Amy takes off running in the opposite direction of where she thinks the voices are coming from. After a while the sounds and voices of those trailing her stop and she thinks she's lost whoever it was.

As Amy walks along naked through the forest, she tries to figure her next move. At least she's lost those who were following. But then, Whoosh, she steps into a snare-trap and she's now hanging upside down by one of her ankles. As she struggles to try and reach her ankle to get herself free, she suddenly hears, "Wait till Biff & Zeke see what I caught". A hillbilly walks over to the helpless Amy and starts to feel her up. As Amy pleads, she tries to keep the hands off her as she pushes at this dirty, scroungy stranger, and ends up causing him to drop and spill a plastic bag of apples he had just gathered up. "You fuckin' bitch! I spent all morning gathering those". He then lets the remaining apples roll out the bag and then slips it over Amy's head, suffocating her. She tries to grab at the bag but he quickly grabs hold of her wrists. It only takes a couple of minutes before Amy passes out. She is now lowered to the ground. Her wrists are bound behind her back. She's gagged with a filthy rag, and her ankles are tied together. She's then tossed over the shoulder for the trip to the cabin to meet up with brother's Zeke & Biff.

You pervs can now fill in the rest for what you'd want next and how it's going to end. I know what I'd like to happen next. Again, just dreaming. :-)

I wonder if there are more gems like that in Australia? I was under the impression that they were becoming prudish and censorial, like the Brits.

I like your premise for a modern-day GIMP Movie for Amy -- with one exception. You have the movie opening with Amy and her boyfriend making love. I am really big on the first GIMP scene being the first opportunity we have to discover the physical pleasures of the victim. I continue to be disappointed when the movie opens with consensual sex, or when the first assault is preceded by a shower scene or -- heaven forbid -- when there is a montage of short GIMP moments shown before the movie story even begins (some Asian movies do this.)

I love the suspense of not knowing what treasures are hidden under the clothes until they are stripped off or removed under coercion.

So. We're all set. All we need is Amy.

About the ceiling/sealing wax thing. When we were going through final edits to the copy, that came up and I asked Dick if that was real...He said that he'd only heard about how it was a way to cheaply fill in holes and leaks temporarily in a bunch of different things and it did need to be heated up much hotter than regular wax to melt...it was used a long time ago and apparently just past the depression era...Anyway, we decided that, yes, if it were stuck in my belly button, especially after that horrible bug had its way with me, (people who have the graphic novel know what I mean), and left to burn all the way down into me, I would be in serious pain! My navel hole would become a boiling tar pit! He's so good at thinking these things up! :)

Given that the film appears to have a pretty small cast, I suspect the reveal in the film wouldn't be too difficult to guess. But I guess I won't know for sure until I see it.

I don't think it's the kind of film I would make a lot of effort to track down. But some of my local haunts have copies of unusual international works, so I'll watch for this one.

Out of curiosity, I checked out the link....then had to check out the video. Not being into that kind of music (more into Maynard James Keenan, Chris Cornel, etc.....in other words METAL!!!!), I never even heard the word in question in the video, since I was too distracted by the hot looking blonde & brunette (see URL....but no Gimpage).

BUT.....would also make for a cool movie. A rouse of making a music video is used to lure hot looking women for other reasons. When they arrive, they disrobe and dance and gyrate to an obscure song that isn't even the perp's work. The perps have kind of amateur looking video equipment.....that should have been a clue to the girls, but will serve the purpose for what they have in mind.

The girls are instructed on what to do.....and after several takes and a few hours in, they are hot & sweaty, and good & tired by now. The girls are told, they need one more take, and then they'll wrap it up and call it a day. But instead of closing the day on the video shoot and getting paid for their effort, the real reason for the video equipment soon becomes apparent. The girls are really there to star in a rape/snuff movie.

I understand that 'Mal.' and 'D. but D.' are not documentaries, (how does one make a documentary about vampires?!), but it is your desire/task to make them credible and persuasive. You take great care in your creation of costumes and props, in finding correct locations. Why not the armpits, I ask!? After all, vampires are named after furry animals! It is clear that I have lost the argument for part one, but there are two parts to come, I believe. Perhaps by then, your vampires will have lost their razors!

However, the matter is more profound than this.

An example. Unfortunately there are very few, and those distressingly short, where we see the body of Noomi Rapace in the Scandinavian version of 'The 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. However, in one scene when she is about to fuck Blomkvist, as she peels off her top, she reveals that her armpits are unshaven. This is a brilliant piece of visual characterisation. There is no way that Salander would even consider spending time shaving herself; it would delay her from what she finds truly important. Even more, she has no understanding of the social/cultural convention that women should be hairless. It establishes an aspect of her character more succinctly than any number of words.

But, of course, it is not an issue of either one or the other. In 'Sir.' and 'Martyr', as they involve contemporary women, it is credible that they will be shaved. In other films, not.

Although you do not make as many films as Mood Picures/Elitepain, (not yet, at least!), there is the choice for you and them, to vary the situation.

One of the many indications that God is with those into GIMPery and the exploitation of women's bodies, is that he (should that be she?), made body hair regrowable! Different women and the same woman, (a hint here MS. Hesketh!), can at different times be smooth and hairy.

Perhaps fortuitously, the film review by Sardu of 'Caged', revealed how the forced pubic shaving of an helpless, vulnerable, naked woman can be extremely intense. (Another hint Ms. Hesketh!).

Another issue raised by one or two recently concerns women and sweat. I delight in seeing a women sweat, if that sweat has been earned; that is in vigorous exercise or in response to pain. But there seem to be those who find this 'unfeminine'. I saw a video on the net recently where a woman was whipped, AOH, with shaved armpits which did reveal at least the degree to which she was sweating. She put on a very good show. However, there was an obvious break in the tape, an edit I assume. When it continued every thing was as before; same marks, same position; but her body was dry. It seems that recording was halted simply to dry the sweat from her body.

(For those who wish to see sweat on a woman's body I can recommend an Elitepain film; Elite Club 12th Case. Very oddly it is listed simply as an extra, a Bonus Whipping. Ironically, given that my original post was on the inappropriateness of excessive hair dressing and cosmetics in MP/Ep DVDs, the 'victim' is apparently an errant make-up artist. She is given a severe whipping to the front of her body, wrists secured at shoulder height. By the end of the whipping, 50 strokes, the sweat is running copiously down from her face, throat, chest, to form a stream down the centre of her belly. And the 'victim', Elena, is facially and bodily, most enchanting).

Finally my dear Ms. Hesketh., a comment on your comment about your response, and that of others, to the filming of your narratives.

I accept entirely, it would be impertinent to do other, your description of your responses and those of others to the intensity of the process.

Some of the shoots that I do for the comic book are really strenuous and I actually feel them in the morning, like the one posted today. Being poked and prodded in the boobs, having to bend over things for long periods of time, having things stuck in my belly button and other places, and even just holding a pose to get multiple angles and stuff actually takes its toll on my body, and after an hour or two,or even longer, I'm generally spent. Gog had a pretty good plot idea, too. "Hire" girls for a music video, as an excuse to have them dress sexy for the camera. Then - horrors! - they're captured, bound to frames, and forced to play a twisted game of poker in a "grand guignol" style of play. In this game, if the girl loses a hand, she loses HER hand! Then she loses a foot, then a leg, then an arm, then an eye, until she eventually bleeds out. The "winner" of the game - what's left of her - is then kept in a cell and a new group of girls are hired. They are put in the same cell as the "winner", and when they ask what happened to her, she warns them of what's in store for them. Cue scary music. Fin.

What really makes "Caged" so attractive to me is the way the victim is bound. That table, room, and tray look absolutely terrifying. It gives a nice shot of adrenalin to the usual bondge scene.

Or maybe that's just me.

The information that you seek is included, already, in my post! But, I shall repeat it with elaborations.

The film is produced by Elitepain and is called 'Elite Club 12th case'. If you go to their website, the specific sequence I recommended is listed as 'Bonus whipping'; 'make-up artist Elena is full body whipped for being late with her work'.

My only criticism of the sequence is that E.'s hands are secured at the level of her shoulders; not fully stretched AOH, a pity! But it is worth it to see her suffer and sweat!

As, I believe, that one cannot buy or download this part seperately from the rest of the DVD, some comments on what else you get may be useful.

The main DVD involves two victims. First Marietta; a delightfully appealing blonde, firm bodied, with small, perfectly shaped breasts, full pink areolae and nipples, and with perfect skin.

She has clips ripped from her body. But the more interesting sequence is that she is required to stand upright, holding a bar, (it looks like a broom handle!), while she receives severe whip strokes to her thighs, belly and breasts.

My preference is to have my victims tied helpless. But the struggle that M. experiences to obey, but against her natural instinct to bend forward to protect her body, is delightful. Another 'extra' on the DVD makes it clear that she was sufficiently stressed by the whipping to have difficulty in breathing. Notwithstanding this, she came back to perform in at least one other film.

However, the larger part of the main sequence involves Alice, ( a stalwart of early MP/Ep films) as a disobedient trainee Mistress.

Sh is punished by similarly being required to hold aloft the bar while being whipped on the front of her body, and a few strokes to the back. The marks are real and moderately severe.

Her punishment ends with the trademark beating of MP/Ep to the buttocks; 50 severe strokes. Alice is again not secured but her efforts to withstand the pain and to be obedient are arousing and exciting. And her buttocks are impressively marked.

Alice is slim to the point of being skinny. Her bust size is, I imagine, AA, AAA?! But this emphasises her large nipples that are in a constant state of erection.

Last week MaX CoXXX introduced us to Mongo the Ape. By coincidence, just the other day I was delighted to see Naomi Watts playing the classic DiD Anne Darrow in the 2005 remake of King Kong. Yeah, I know...it's GIMP Lite and rated PG-13. Plus, some of the perils obviously featured CGI and/or a stunt double. Nevertheless, I was impressed by Naomi's performance in a very physically demanding role. There are numerous times when it's clearly Naomi running through the jungle, stumbling, tumbling, sliding, being knocked to the ground (or at least acting like she is). I really appreciate it when an actress, especially an A-lister, invests so much of herself in a role.

I just think she was overdressed.

Well, he doesn't quite expose her breasts, although it sort of looks like it in the long shot. But when you see her in close up, you don't see any nipple. Still a pretty risque scene for 1933. And what's interesting about that scene is it was cut and not restored until the early 1970s.

You know, I still haven't seen the remake with Naomi Watts. I'm a big fan of the original classic with Fay Wray and I bought that on DVD around the time the sequel was coming out. I think I was waiting for a director's cut with extra footage and never got around to it. I'll have to add that to my Netflix queue. Never seem to have time to watch movies anymore.

Talking about Funny Games, it's not a film that I especially liked overall (sort of a downer), but there's still a couple of bondage scenes with Naomi Watts that I think makes it a worthwhile rent, especially if you're a fan of this gorgeous actress. How often do you see an A-list actress bound and gagged in a bra and panties? My main problem is she's always tied up together with her husband, which sort of takes the edge off. A while back, LTL wrote a review of the film (in my Homepage URL) that I think is extremely well-written and pretty much crystallizes what I liked and disliked about the film.

That might be something to hold out for if you want to wait. I know there was some really cool segments cut from the theatrical version (probably due to time since it's a fairly long movie), like a rafting scene as one that comes to mind w/water creatures. Check out URL for the Naomi bondage scene (Skip it for those not wanting to ruin the feel of the movie before they see it.).

Still, even in a niche like ours tastes vary, so I just have to express my gratitude when I see or read something that doesn't just push my buttons, but mashes them, as K.D.'s story did. I'm of an age where a story won't interest me unless it is well written, has a realistic setting, characters that behave in ways that have some relationship to the way humans behave in real life, and of course action that appeals to my particular interests and preferences. K.D.'s story did a hell of a job in all those departments so I just wanted to give him a shout out. Thanks for a great read K.D.!

That's a nice Pic of the Day of Naomi Watts in the movie "Funny Games." I haven't seen this version. I watched the German version years ago and found it really depressing. I've avoided watching the American version primarily because I know Naomi doesn't go full frontal, so what's the point? Compare the bad guys in "Funny Games" to Alex and his droogies in "Clockwork Orange" and I think the former will come off looking like sociopathic wannabes. Alex and his crew stripped their female victims naked and abused them, and I suspect that any self respecting sociopath would have done the same to Naomi.

Don't you just hate it when a movie, book, story, magazine cover etc. is such a near miss? But Naomi has star power and I'm sure she drew the line at full frontal, even if the director had wanted that. Perhaps Kubrick was not willing to compromise his artistic vision (I love that phrase, especially when applied to movies involving naked women) or maybe he was just dealing with relatively unknown actresses, and could get what he wanted.

Still, Naomi does look awfully enticing, though overdressed. Might have to take a look after all.

All things being otherwise equal, it all comes down to casting. Who would you rather see tied up? Personally, I'm partial to the beautiful Naomi Watts, which makes the remake the obvious choice.

When I write stories, I always have a specific (mainstream) actress in mind for the heroine. I'm intrigued as to whether it's obvious who it is, either for Miss Berkeley's Voyage (there are a couple of clues other than physical description), or The Scapegoat (one very big hint), or The Martyrdom of St Catherine (probably a little harder). Any guesses?

And you can also add the "Amazon Warrior" genre as well. In particular, I speak of Lana Clarkson and her scenes in the "Barbarian Queen" films, about which simply not enough good can be said. Her performance in the 2nd film is particularly breathtaking. She's tall and Amazonian, yet voluptuous, feminine, and beautiful at the same time. She goes from being a feisty, defiant, kick-ass babe at first, and later in the film is whimpering, submissive, and helpless as she is stretched out naked on the rack, while the villain announces his intentions to slowly torture her to death.

One of my fondest fantasies involve an alternate ending to "PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl." In my version Commander Norrington nuts up at the end of that movie, where, as I'm sure eveeryone recalls, Will Turner tries to help Jack Sparrow escape the noose. The attempt is foiled, and Will and Jack are surrounded by Norrington's marines. Only Elizabeth Swann's intervention spares them. Now, instead of acting like a love sick puppy and letting them go, Norrington acts like a true British Naval Officer, and has Jack Sparrow returned to the gallows and Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann clapped in irons to be tried for for piracy. Okay, maybe Jack and Will could escape to continue the sequels, but Elizabeth would definitely be stripped and flogged at the cart's tail through the streets of Port Royal. Or flogged through the fleet. I wonder which punishent the Disney executives would prefer?

Interesting comments about both versions of "Funny Games." The foreign version is on Netflix, for anyone who's interested, but not the American version.

Very good question. The answer is: No whippings, no physical torture, no rape. Not even any nudity. But a Girl in Merciless Peril like none other. And that after all is the title of the forum. Funny Games is probably the meanest mainstream movie I have seen. The thought of Amy putting together a movie in which the sex and torture matched the meanness of Funny Games is what started this recent discussion. What a gem that would be. I would not want to rely on movies that have terror and intimidation but no sex for all of my GIMP, but its type of movie falls into my area of interest.

Good movie, but when she is told to strip and does not show her legs and panties. Come on. The humiliation on her face is good but flash to her pulling down her panties. Or at least from behind showing her ass crack.

Hell to the f'ing yeah!

In the first "Barbarian Queen" film there are two actresses worth noting. The first is Susana Traverso, who I really wished had been naked when she was tortured with fire, and who went on to a very successful career in South America. The second is Lana Clarkson, who managed to be both strong and feminine at the same time. Her scene where she's tortured in the dungeon convinced me that BDSM was definitely my kink, even better if it involved medieval costumes (or earlier periods). Her scenes in the second "Barbarian Queen" film sealed the deal. It's a shame what happened to Ms. Clarkson later in life. She was a cult queen who will be missed.

All of the HD movies are there, and once he gets everything up and running I would hope to see more stuff come out of his shop. It's not like there's gobs of this type of stuff out there, so to find a quality site doing quality work is a bit of a miracle.

Because it's art, and doesn't need a million dollar budget to be made, you can do so much more interesting and imaginative things and really push the limits. It's so weird and surprising sometimes when I'm modeling for a bunch of shots and I don't really know how they will exactly look after they are drawn, and then I see them and I think, holy cow, I remember taking those photos in Dicks studio or living room, and now I'm in a medieval dungeon or space ship! It's just really cool what can be done with art for very little money and a lot of imagination. :)

I just found this site after following a link to the John Blakemore interview, which was brilliant. To this day, I don't think anyone has come close to producing the quality of work that he did for HOM in the 70s and 80s, which was a huge inspiration for my own work.

I used to draw for a paper called B&D Pleasures in the late 80s-early 90s. Here is the one and only color piece they ever published. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for making this site available to us.

I'm also old school and remember seeing B&D Pleasures back in the adult bookstores. I never picked one up, but I used to get the mailings from them and recall seeing the ads with samples from them, along with the artist portfolios and ads for their videotapes (which usually were around 60 bucks apiece...those were the days, huh?). It's good to see you still have a presence online and new generations can enjoy your work. I'm glad you found this forum. It would be great to see you here posting from time to time.

And thanks for the kind words about the Blakemore interview. That's one of my proudest accomplishments on the site. Blakemore is a unique man; a living legend who inspired generations of followers thereafter. Simply put, a lot of the work he put out had never been done before, and arguably has still never been done as well. He's truly the father of bondage entertainment. I'm glad he's my friend. And like Dan mentioned, the online interview would never have happened without his involvement. Blakemore even finishes it out by saying he owed it all to Dan Hawke.

The funny part is, I found a couple of my drawings on ImageFap that I had forgotten I had done (I never got any of the originals back after publication).

Unlike many, I never made any money off of the artwork that was published, but bartered it for videos and publications from BD Enterprises. I believe Mr. Majors got more benefit from that arrangement than I did, but that's OK. I had some fun for a few years.

You have good reason to be proud of the Blakemore/Whitmore interview--I believe that to be an historic event for fans of bd/sm and fans of the old HOM stuff.

I've long been an admirer of your work (which is absolutely brilliant, I might add), and admit to being insanely jealous, as you've been able to tie and torture Madison Young (who along with Tomiko is probably my favorite bondage models since "Dixie" posed for HOM).

I'm also aware of your role in facilitating the Blakemore/Whitmore interview, and for that I thank you. As to the name, I never knew what it was until I saw the interview, although I do seem to recall seeing the name "Blakemore" in some old HOM mags of the time, but as he stated in the interview, that may have been the name of another staffer at HOM.

Like you, I really liked "Bittersweet Revenge", although I was a bit more partial to "The Experiment", probably because although I had seen nearly all the 8mm loops, that was the first of the HOM sound movies I'd ever seen. (Plus, I believe it had Dixie in it, IIRC).

I first saw the "Erotic Perversion" and "Violence" videos at an adult bookstore in Times Square back in the mid 80s, and searched relentlessly until I could find copies of my own on VHS. I think I still have them floating around somewhere.

As to the photos in B&D Pleasures being too mild, I agree completely. Eventually, they also got to be too obviously staged, straying uncomfortably close to the absurd concept of "love bondage" (an oxymoron if ever there was one, IMHO)

I do recall Bill telling me at the time that he wanted to do harsher stuff (as some of his early videos and photosets), but was advised against it by his lawyers, given the political climate at the time, and the whole "love bondage" concept was basically a CYA move on the part of the producers at the time to avoid prosecution by Meese's porno witch hunts, as the JD was specifically targeting stuff that appeared to be non-consensual or too violent.

There was a periodical called "Gauntlet - Exploring The Limits Of Free Expression" that was published in the early 90s that had a pretty alarming article about how the Meese JD targeted and ultimately put TAO out of business, something that had a chilling effect on bondage (and other porn) publishers of the time. Bill Majors's company was, I think, engaging in some understandable preemptive self defense.

I don't know if these have been talked about before, but I didn't see them in the review section.

The first one is called "Urban Explorers". Won't go into plot in case anyone wants to see the movie. There is a fairly good torture segment in this one though lacking nudity. A girl has her wrists and ankles strapped to a chair.

The man who has her restrained now tortures her, suffocating her with a plastic bag......look how happy he is. :-)

He then pops the bag so she thinks the suffocation torment is over with. Ahhh....not so. He pulls another bag out of his back pocket and it starts all over again. This time for a longer duration.

Now it's time for the blow torch, but.....much to us GIMPer's dismay, this is also the time for the dreaded "Boyfriendus Interuptus". Man chases boyfriend....then returns. Now it's knife torment time. But can you guess? Yep...."Boyfriendus Interuptus" once again. This time ending the bondage/torture scene.

The next one is called "Break". It's about 4 girls heading out to the woods for a camping trip, but are a bit disoriented. Would ask direction from this guy?

Professor Orloff has created an invisible man-beast who, he assures Dr. Garondet, his unwelcome guest, is well trained and intelligent, but who needs to drink human blood to stay alive. Dr. Garondet seems a bit put off by this revelation, but is willing to set it aside to help Cecile, Professor Orloff's mentally deranged daughter.

I think it's appropriate to digress here a moment and discuss the little known physical and artistic demands of acting while invisible. It's physically demanding because the invisibility creams developed for actors in the early invisible man movies were toxic and irritating to the skin, and could leave unsightly rashes. Typically the invisible actor would be expected to do all his own stunts. And since the invisibility creams were extremely expensive and took a long time and effort to apply, the actor could expect to remain naked and invisible for long periods of time, at risk not only for hypothermia but also of injury from people bumping into him or objects falling on him. Body doubles were rarely used until recently, and then only for big name actors. Despite his denials, it's well known that Kevin Bacon had a body double for his invisible scenes in "Hollow Man," as did Jessica Alba in "Fantastic Four."

The artistic demands of invisibility are equally severe, as the actor has only his voice and the ability to, say, move chairs, lift lanterns, murder, and rape to communicate what must certainly be the ultimate condition of existential loneliness.

In this movie the loneliness of the invisible man-beast is communicated by his rape of a young woman, which I think is an effective choice.

The servant woman is sexually assaulted as Professor Orloff watches approvingly. At least I assume that this is a sexual assault. At the risk of seeming ungentlemanly, I have to point out that her legs are never parted. Her distress is evidenced by her rolling about on the hay, groaning, and sighing.

The unconscious woman is then taken by Professor Orloff to be drained of blood to feed the invisible creature.

Shortly thereafter the man-beast knocks Dr. Garondet to the floor, and attacks Cecile, stripping her of her nightgown.

Judging from her expression, Cecile is either paralyzed by fear of her incipient violation by a ravening horror she can't see, or has just noticed that one of the paintings on the wall is slightly askew. Dr. Garondet picks up a bag of powder and flings it where he believes the invisible man-beast to be, and voila! at last we see him in all his terrible glory!

Garondet knocks the creature in the head with a poker, and he and Cecile escape.

If you're looking for arousing GIMP scenes (and who isn't) I can't recommend this movie. But it was entertaining and amusing, if you're in the mood for cheesy fun. There is quite a lot of nudity, and the women are attractive enough, but not what you'd call drop dead gorgeous. I'll give it a C.

Actually, I can't take credit for those vidcaps; those were from my friend StakeDamsels, although I do have multiple caps from that movie in my collection.

I remember being invited to a friend's house to see that film for the first time. Afterward, his wife asked me if I liked the movie.

I replied, "Sure, I always enjoy a good witch-burning movie."

Hey, it was true. And this was one film that definitely is a must for BATS fans. To begin with, there's a burning scene right before the opening credits (always a good sign), then another BATS later in the film, then we get to see the chick who was burned early in the film get burned a second time as well. Then near the end of the film one of the buxom Collinson twins is tied to a cross and they're about to burn her, but there's a last minute rescue. If I recall, the movie was about vampires, but all I remember are the burning scenes. Nice-looking victims, all of them.

And the marketers of the film know they have a good thing. Check out the DVD box cover. Some major boobage in the front, and one of the BATS scenes in the background.

What's the film about? Who cares, I want to see the girl with the tits and the hot blonde burned at the stake! That's the way you sell a movie!

Gog: I've seen Break after it got highlighted on the forum a while back; a very nice nude bondage scene. With the nudity, it's no surprise, it was not made in the US (or in Canada) but in Germany, despite the fact that it's in English. It's worth checking out.

I've heard of Urban Explorer and wanted to see it, but so far I've been unsuccessful at locating a print. Now that I see it's out under a different title (The Depraved), it might make it a little easier to find. Naturally, it's too hot for Netflix. Gee, that's a shocker, huh? No doubt the reason is the excellent box cover art:

Once again, they're pushing the film's best assets. The chick in bondage and the grinning madman wielding a knife. That's all you need; I would rent that film in a heartbeat. I love it when the studios use bondage imagery to sell their films.

It's seventies Euro-sleaze at its most mediocre, with generous helpings of nudity, really cheap effects, and a music score made up of discordant jazz chords punctuated by random clangings and snappings.

From your description, plus the presence of Howard Vernon, I thought you were going to identify this as a Jess Franco product. But it was actually directed by a Frenchman, Pierre Chevalier, during an era in which someone (whose name I've forgotten) once said, "The French do not know how to make horror films." Well, if that were true, this movie certainly supported the theory.

Even so, when I first saw this (under the title Dr. Orloff's Invisible Monster), I was delighted to see that in a scene where the lovely lady (Brigitte Carva) retreats to her room to avoid the invisible dude, she manages to get her clothing yanked completely off. *hee-hee* At least Frenchy got that one right.

Probably a symptom of advancing age, or just the consequences of spending too much time watching sleazy movies and cruising the net for GIMPy smut.

Alice Arden was found guilty of the crime of murder (Petty treason) and burnt at the stake in Canterbury. The crime caused a sensation and her execution was a huge event attended by people from many distant towns. Found one that maybe be of interests to some at the Redbox kiosk today. Didn't get it since I'm not all that much into oriental women. It's called "the Abduction of Eden" (also goes by just "Eden" I believe).

As mentioned, the photos in B&D Pleasures were pretty mild, but the art and often the stories were usually much more exciting and innovative. This was where I first came across the work of Dolcett (long before his stuff flooded the 'net) and another artist who I think was known as Toshio. I've only got a few of his drawings online, but his work is very distinctive...

I really should dig out these gritty publications and see what else is in them. I haven't looked at them in over two decades.

Eda is not afraid to try something different to appeal to a wider audience, but unless she gets feedback, she won't know whether or not her efforts have met with success.

Poor Cecily: A while back, I posted that I had purchased a (supposedly) B+ quality copy of Poor Cecily (among other titles) from this place. I promised to report whether the transfer was any better than the generally poor versions available from other vendors. Save your money. It's not.

I'm still waiting on a copy of Reservoir Cats from Australia. Four weeks and counting.

Found one that maybe be of interests to some at the Redbox kiosk today. It's called "the Abduction of Eden".

I had high hopes for this one when I saw it was coming to Redbox. Not sure why. Maybe because, in spite of my recent disappointments with mainstream GIMP, I AM into Asian women. But there wasn't much to see other than 90 minutes of squandered opportunities. Partly because I was squeezed for time and partly because of the lack of GIMP, I fast forwarded through much of it. I had thought of doing a mini-review, (perhaps calling it "just the tip"), but decided that maybe someone else might have found some redeeming social values that I may have missed.

Do you like gladiator movies, Timmy?

Well, yes, but only if they have hot topless babes fighting to the death, with some bondage and discipline thrown in.

If you do, too, then this video is for you.

"Nikki Rises" is part of the "Ultimate Gladiatrix" series by Olaf Winter and Mia Mane. This videoclip, which lasts just over fifteen minutes, tells the story of Nikki, an Amazon warrior forced to fight in the arena of Heria "where glory is only for the winner, and no one cares about those who fail."

The female gladiatrix theme is nothing new and Olaf Winter has made his fair share of these types of films over the years. But, with each clip he shows continuous positive improvement in his storytelling, and certainly this videoclip is a good example of that. For one thing, the costumes in all of his clips, since the beginning, have been top notch. So have the models he's used - they've all been really lovely specimens of the female form and have managed to play their role as Amazon warriors to the hilt. His indoor set is wonderfully versatile and never goes stale no matter how many times he uses it. For a production with a very limited budget, he manages to get a lot of out what he has to work with, and that's certainly to the benefit of the viewer.

This particularly clip has a couple of things going for it. First, there's a very good use of CGI in giving us the introduction to the world he's created. Here's a screenshot from the opening montage:

Honestly, you won't find too many low-budget clip-makers who will go to that much trouble to create a CGI opening that actually helps tell the story. They'll just do it all with a panel of text and be done with it. Sometimes you don't even get that much. So to see a producer go to the trouble to create that sort of opening is a very welcome touch.

The other thing that Olaf Winter has improved is the depiction of violent death. His use of special effects is convincing without being overly bloody. Take this one for example, where Mia Mane gets her throat slit in the introduction.

Not bad, right? If you've ever seen the Chechen decapitation videos on LiveLeak (and if you haven't, I don't recommend you go find them - they are most definitely not for the squeamish), you'll see that this is pretty close to accurate. As the victim screams, the initial surge of blood is forced up the esophageal tract and out the mouth. Then, as the throat is opened up, the lungs simply push the blood out of the gaping wound until the victim dies from blood loss and/or chokes to death.

But enough of this. Let's get to the story.

Four Amazon captives, stripped to the waist, on their knees with hands bound behind their back, are forced by their overlord to make a choice: death by execution, or death in the arena.

One Amazon decides that she will not let her death be for the amusement of her enemies, so she elects to be executed on the spot.

What I like about this scene, other than the girls being topless, of course, is that there is a just a little bit of CGI blood splatter to make it more dramatic, without being excessive. You may not see it very well in this screen capture, but in real-time it makes a nice touch to the drama.

That brings up another thing I like about this film. It's in HD and immediately goes Full Screen on launch, with no loss of resolution or image clarity. You see the video exactly the way you would see a major motion picture. The camera work is top notch. Unfortunately, when I shrunk the screen caps down, a lot of the detail was lost, but trust me, this video looks a lot better in real-time than what you see in these caps.

Ok, back to the story. Our hero elects to fight in the arena, so she is bound in chains and led through the forest by her new master, who takes her back to his ludus. Once there, he throws her to the ground and removes her leash.

Then he lifts her up, slaps her around to remind her who's the boss, and removes her ropes.

Next, she's strung up spread-eagle, ropes around her wrists and chains around her ankles, where she's whipped into submission by her new master as a lesson in dominance, while two harem slaves look on.

The whipping is well done, and although we don't see any actual contact, there's enough there for you to fill in the blanks with your imagination. I was both appreciative of, and frustrated by, the producer's use of creative lighting to give the scene a "graphic novel" look. It's like watching a strip tease act - you really wish you could see the naughty parts better, but they are revealed to you in such a tantalizing way that you keep begging for more, which is part of the entertainment of the piece. It's a tribute to the old film noir style of filmmaking that was so popular in the 40's and 50's. In fact, the whole movie has that feel of a 40's black-and-white serial, where at any moment something fantastic could happen. It's this artistic consideration in shooting the story that I really respect.

After the whipping is over, the master places a bag over his new slave's head to remind her of her helplessness, then hands his leather instrument of pain to a harem girl and gives her permission to demonstrate her status above the "fresh meat" strung up in the courtyard of the ludus. The harem girl, who had enjoyed watching our hero's whipping, takes advantage of the opportunity while her friend plays with an abandoned sword. They decide it's more fun to see the anguish on their victim's face, so the first harem girl takes the bag off and goes to work on her subject with the whip.

After the first harem girl has had her fun, the second decides to see just what a blade can do to an Amazon's bare back.

As the second harem girl is carving up the new slave, the master comes back to find that the two harem girls have done far more damage than he would've liked. Their punishment? Death! The master decides to test his Amazon slave's skill with a sword, so he allows her to slay the two harem girls.

Now, Winter/Mane could've ended the story right there, but they don't. Instead they go the extra mile by advancing in time to show our hero battling her way to glory against other gladiatrixes, including two that had been captured with her in the forest. What follows is a montage of stabbing, slashing, slicing, and hacking as our hero proves her worth. My favorite fighting moment comes when the hero pins her victim to the ground by the neck with her hand, then stabs her in the back, piercing the kidney and lung.

I won't go into how the movie ends, as by now you should have a pretty good idea. If you're into hot necro babes wearing leather loincloths with a blood trail or two, then the last two minutes are for you.

I was impressed with the production quality for such a small studio. Olaf Winter certainly knows his camerawork, and the presentation is top-notch; very slick and sophisticated in both editing and CGI. Compared to what was released just last year by this same studio, Mr. Winter (and by extension Ms. Mia Mane) are on a very good trajectory to achieve great things. I wouldn't be surprised if they try their hand at a full-length (but low budget) motion picture within a year (or less). If you look at what the "Red Feline" team did for "Inquisition"-style horror films with just their small but very talented team, then you know that it is possible for a handful of dedicated and talented individuals to do some very good work on very little money.

As far as acting goes, it has some of my favorite "Amazon Warriors" staples. I've never been a fan of "Saphyra", but here, in the lead role, she looks fantastic and does a good job as the tough Amazon. "Raven", whom I suspect is mixed-race, makes a wonderful Amazon warrior with her tight, ripped body lines. "Aristhea" and "Ninea" are passable as the blood-thirsty harem girls, particularly Aristhea who seemed to really enjoy playing with that sword. Look for Mia Mane in several cameos throughout.

Could it be better? Certainly. There are a few places where a sword is obviously plastic (in fact, I think I've seen that exact prop for sale at my local dollar store), but I can forego that because I know the necessity for it (for example, it's easier for the women to handle due to its light weight, and it's easier to cut and shape for special effects). And since your focus is on the gladiatrixes and not the weapon, it really doesn't detract from the film all that much.

Another thing that I would've enjoyed seeing in this would have been a branding. It makes sense to me that, if a gladiatrix is nothing but property, then the owner would want to mark his chattel in some way, lest she run off and assert herself as a free woman. A branding scene would've been a great way to add a dramatic flourish to the proceedings, and would've been a good way to show how the Amazon has been reduced from a human to an animal for slaughter. But that's just me.

Overall, I enjoyed this film, and I look forward to seeing what else the Winter/Mane team has up its sleeve? or rather their arm bracers and pauldrons.

Just kidding. Lol In all seriousness, a very nice review! Especially since I've never heard of that company before. Not sure it's up my alley though.....not into knives and swords as a means for death (I'm a bagging/strangulation guy myself :-).

If they have a diversified story-line that might included such means to an end, may have to check out (Are there? Inquiring minds want to know :-).....and a drop of the bottoms would be nice too. May just have to check out afterall. :-)

Found a couple of DVD's of interest in the "2 for $3.00" bin at the local Walgreens (previously viewed). The first one is "Goya's Ghosts" (see review written by Sardu for details).

Natalie Portman is forced to confess to being a Heretic (see url for her torture before confession scene).

The next one is a Spanish language movie (w/English sub-titles) called "The Appeared". The GIMP is of limited value to most, but has a nice water torture/dunking scene (Oh.....along with baggings and strangulation, dunking/drownings are cool too :-). Though no nudity, the scene (and whole movie) appealed to me because of the lead actress from Madrid, Spain, named Ruth Diaz. I instantly feel in love with the actress. Though not a busty bombshell.....but rather a very real looking, earthy young lady reminiscent of the reaction I have for our Amy Hesketh (of Red Feline/Vermeer Works fame).

The first is a brief scene of a mother and daughter in the back of a pickup (with cover over the back). She's gagged and AOH (though sideways, it's still AOH I would suppose).

The next is with the character Ruth is portraying. She has her wrist taped together and chained to the foot of a bath tub. From there she is dunked numerous times. The final of which she actually loses consciousness.

Like I mentioned, I know the GIMP will be of limited value to most. But enough to keep me interested (and not a bad horror/ghost story-line).

I almost got lucky with a third (a used copy) of a French movie called "REGARDE LA MER". Unfortunately only the aftermath is shown. That of the lead-actress tied up and bagged to death.

Too bad too on a number of levels. First the lead actress is really hot (again, in an earthy type way), as well as the actress co-star (pretty much a 2 woman movie (except for a little baby and the husband to the deceased at the very end).

And second, like I mentioned, I really like baggings, so with a hot naked actress, it would have been really cool to have seen the take-down and struggle that ensued. Especially since the film implies that it all happened while both actresses were naked. Why....why....WHY do the GIMP Gods want to torment me like this? Oh well.....maybe our Amy can do something in the like, for a future project. :-)

The Poor Cecily copy wasn't as good as advertised: Boy, that's a big shocker. When will everybody learn to quit wasting their money hoping for upgrades of that film? It's been available only as a bootleg for the past 40 years. After all that time, there's no pristine print floating around that no one has seen. Until whoever owns the rights decides to offer it up in a restored DVD release, this is as good as we're ever going to get.

Eda Chang: Kudos for your latest story, it was great. It pushed a lot of my buttons. And it wasn't overly long, which was a plus. I have nothing against really long, detailed stories; sometimes they are the most satisfying, but other times you don't have several hours to devote to reading. This was just the right length.

Thomas Chaser: You've become quite the accomplished reviewer around here. I enjoyed reading your review of Nikki Rises. Olaf Winter may very well be a good filmmaker, but he dropped the ball big time by moving to a new, user-unfriendly website that demands you show your ID just to see the movie pages. And then once you finally get in, their search engine doesn't pull up results. That's counter-productive. I mean, they do want to sell some movies, don't they? Let's try to make it as difficult as possible for the viewing public, why don't we? We're talking worse than NicheClips, and that's saying something.
