Sorry if I mislead you, JD. The story is by Neil Gaiman. P. Craig Russell oversaw the graphic adaptation. Seven different artists illustrated chapters. Galen Showman was the illustrator for this particular chapter. All of the artists adjusted their styles to give the book a pretty consistent feel.

We deliberately try and put out films that, while they all concentrate on the damsel in distress, vary widely in terms of tone, feel, and tropes. Sometimes the endings are happy, sometimes they are very grim indeed. Sometimes they have humor, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the story is simple (Like "High Voltage"), sometimes it is more intricate (Like "Buzzsaw Butchers 2"). Sometimes there are buckets of gore, sometimes the films are bloodless. We realize that in serving this community that there are going to be people on one side or the other of any of these spectrums who are going to be disappointed by the choices we make for any particular film. We are always interested in hearing feedback, good or bad, from our customers. I'd be particularly interested in hearing why you didn't like "Breeder," which, in terms of post-production work, is our biggest film this year.

Review: Juliette’s Exhibition II

The video opens with Juliette being guided from behind into a basement room by a man in a ski mask. He steers her by means of a three foot pole attached from behind to a metal collar. Her arms are bent over her shoulders and manacled to the back of the collar. This gives her very pleasing AOH appearance. She is wearing black mid-thigh stockings and what looks like a T-shirt around her neck as well as a leather gag.

Her tormentor says to her, “Now Juliette, let’s strip you so we can have access to your body.” There isn't much to strip – he just cuts away the “T-shirt,” – but it’s a nice excuse for a great line. Her breasts are exposed and she has nipple clamps with bells attached. Juliette is forced into a bent over position and a butt plug is forced up her ass. She whimpers and moans into her gag nicely showing her displeasure.



She is bound to a chair. Her ankles are shackled to the rear legs, spreading her thighs open. A leather belt is cinched tightly around her waist to the back of the chair. Her arms are once again pulled back over her shoulders and a chain run through her manacled wrists and attached to the chair’s back, pulling her arms back and down and thrusting her breasts forward, nicely framed by her elbows. This is a delightful position. She is completely open and helpless and it emphasizes her breasts, which are the target for most of her suffering. But first her tormentor changes her gag by stuffing her mouth with cloth and taping over it, then putting on a leather hood which leaves the top half of her face uncovered. Leather hoods are not unusual in Juliette’s videos, and I must say I am not a fan of the device.

This is the core of the film. The combination of Juliette’s bondage position on the chair, her screaming and moaning into her gag, her writhing around and her fear as shown by her eyes and her shaking her head back and forth when the suction devices are about to be tightened, make this a great scene; IMHO a must have.



A large vibrator is taped to the chair up against her pussy. We are informed by her captor that she will be given a heavy orgasm but that the price will be pain in the form of more electric current to her breasts. Again her suffering is a pleasure to behold.



The negatives for me are: the hood, the stockings (I prefer my victims totally naked), and the lack of any real plot. It seems Juliette’s ordeal is being produced solely for the video audience.

The positives: Juliette’s performance, and I can't overstate this. Her bondage on the chair.

This video pleasantly surprised me. I have seen six or seven of Juliette’s videos and was the first one to review her on the GIMP. In other words I was very favorably disposed toward her. My favorites by far were the ones where she is interrogated, which gave a reason for her torture. This one lacked any plot so I was not that optimistic. But her great performance made this a delight and easily equal to the others. My only decision is whether it deserves an A or A-. In the interest of being conservative, make it an A- and a nomination for Juliette for a Ralphus Award for 2015.

What are you, some sort of snake-coddling liberal? Fortunately, snakes aren't cute or fuzzy, so the animal rights groups don't care about them. Down here in the Florida Everglades, giant constrictors are considered invasive species, so they're always in season if you've got a permit. Photo shows python baiting in the Everglades.

You are right, at the "exhibition" videos there is not a great storyline. But it opens with the man giving an explanation of what is about to happen to me and there after I get flaunted.

I plan to do a more elaborate production with a medieval storyline, but the biggest problem is the budget for costumes and new hardware like a rack and some other equipment. Maybe someone here has an idea how to get the budget or is interested in a sponsoring?

Your stuff is very good (largely because you are someone many of us would love to be able to "torture".) Wear stockings, wear heels, use whips (more of that, please) or TENS pads (or electrode clips), (OK, I'm not a big fan of those suction cup dealies, but...), do AOH, chair bondage, etc. People who buy stuff will buy it. Those who specialize in giving reasons why the didn't buy it will always have reasons and they won't buy.

Don't bother trying to re-make Maleficarum. Keep doing your good stuff and enjoy the work.

It's very hard to find your stuff pirated on the internet, so that's good. Though we all huff and puff here about not "stealing" the work of producers like yourself, one of the reasons so few pictures or video clips are posted with sources mentioned is because...the poster has no idea. We just FOUND them on the net, or downloaded from one of a hundred sites where people post them and let others download.

Nice find! I actually started watching the video for the plot, too. I've got to hand it to the Japanese; they come out with some pretty creative sci-fi stuff. No wonder its so popular with the kids these days.

Maybe start small. Instead of developing costumes, etc., you could borrow a plot idea from one of your earlier films: a slave girl is led down into the basement, where a wealthy patron has paid to have her tortured on a rack while he/she watches through a video camera. As the rack is tightened, the torturer can explain what will happen when the body reaches its maximum tension - first the shoulders will dislocate, then the spine, then the knees, then the hips. He tightens her, then releases the tension, then he tightens her again. This extends her agony on the rack.

Or, he could do it "auction style". On the video screen, the paying customers can see a dollar amount with a scale showing various levels of money. When a certain level is reached, she is tightened one notch. When another level is achieved, she is tightened another notch, and so forth until the full amount is reached and she is at her maximum tension. She screams and passes out. She is loosened a few notches and the camera pans over her sweaty body, then the camera fades to black and ends with "Tune in for our next show" or something like that.

Just an idea.

The merciless peril element in movies is more what I'm into galahad and not so much real pain. Like you can't really burn a gimp at the stake for real, but Maleficarum had acting and came across as real as possible.

Also you can't electrocute for real either but you can electro shock for real and or with good acting and believable props make it look real.

Movies with real pain without merciless peril or the that dirty word consensual real painful torture is no buy for me.

Terror and horror in a Gimp movie is what it's all about to me even if it's fake acting so long as it's real looking.

Maybe there's a poll question in the future along the lines of fake great acting and props Gimp movies versus real painful torture gimp movie scenes.

I've purchased some of Juliette's videos. Those of you who are asking for an elaborate plot or a monologue by the villain on what the upcoming rack torture will do to the victim are barking up the wrong tree. These videos are for the international market and have to be largely language independent. I believe Juliette's first language is German.

Fortunately, a beautiful, naked woman being grabbed and raped or tortured doesn't really need a complicated explanation. And like a car chase, it plays well all over the world.

As for "real" suffering vs acting, I wonder if you have ever let anyone whip you even with a flogger on naked skin. It hurts, bro. The actress may have signed on for that, but that doesn't mean consensual to me. When someone starts saying "hit me harder" or moaning in pleasure as she's being "whipped", that does ruin the illusion for me. But even if I know the actress allowed her wrists and ankles to be bound (wasn't forced to it by gunpoint), that doesn't mean that the marks aren't real (unless they obviously are not), or that the squeals and groans aren't real or that the pain isn't real.

If you are only turned on by actually seeing a real woman being forced against her will into bondage (not just acting that) and being beaten or shocked with no way to end it--in short, a snuff film--then you are treading in very dangerous territory. Don't want to ruin anything for you, but the ElitePain models are paid, and they choose to participate in the shoots--or stop participating. They may be pushed further than most, but in the end, the fact that EP is still around--i.e. won its court case that tried to shut them down--indicates that the women are making choices and setting limits in return for something like $$.

Here are some more shots from the video I mentioned previously. The actress starts off "acting" being whipped, then starts making fun of Matt Williams, calling him a wimp, challenging him to make her scream or cry. He does his best, and in the end manages to get to that point with the flogger. But the revenge comes in the electro part of the scene where she is clearly screaming and crying and pushed to the limits of her control.

Don't know that I've ever seen her anywhere else, so perhaps that one experience did the trick for her--explored the limits. But it's a great video if you can find it.

I bought the clip long time ago but there are some things to be mentioned. The carpenter (or the enthusiast) who built it did a good job on making it look old (which require some wood stain and some metal etching). Where he went wrong is in using metal chains. Now, a "real" rack has to look more or less like in the 3D above (pd got it right in his Insex studio because he did his research). It's the same principle as the one hosted in the Tower of London. That's a real one. Most of the other toys you see in 'Torture Museums' are fakes/'replicas' made by people with little understanding of its workings.

Why chains were never used? Because they have no slack. You have no control over the tension in the stretching. It's an exponential increase in torque after the first turn of the roller. If you'd have to make one today, using chains, one way to deal with it is by using 4 (or two) extension springs attached to the cuffs. Those can increase gradual the tension. Medievals didn't have springs, so they used ropes. Heavy ropes that act like springs.

Secondly, the torque. A real rack will have a large (or two) drums of wood at each end and another one (or two) rollers made of wrought iron of a much smaller diameter than the drum (again, see illustration). It's built like that so a full turn only translate into a small increase in tension in the limbs. In modern days one could use only the large drum and add a gearbox reducer (two cogwheels, one large, one small). Alas, in the Dark Ages they had no milling machines to make those cogs. Even the metal rod used under the rack wasn't true round since was not coming from a lathe but it was hammered so it was looking rather rough. Where it was passing the wood, instead of today's ball bearing they were using nothing but animal fat to keep it from jamming.

The reason the rack was designed as in the picture is because of the HUGE pressure (something akin to a metric ton force) and all those fakeries in today's sensationalist museums would just snap. In the design I showed, all that compression force is applied to the two longitudinal thick wooden beam that make the frame.

I made a quick calculation based on the prices of the nearby Lowe's if I'd decide to make one (not really, no). Using 8x8' for legs and frame and 2x 5/6 for the supporting planks (they only carry the weight of the person), an iron bar for the roller, some strain and etch for aging effect that would be about 400 dollars. Plus work. Some really thick hemp rope at 1" diameter would another 50 dollars. The major problem would not be the cost but the space. This thing would eat half the space of a normal master bedroom. I suppose some creative mind can throw a mattress on top and convert it into an elevated bed (especially if you make the legs from two parts).

Definetely I'd buy any movie with a device like that. If Juliette would be the unfortunate victim that would be even better. If someone would add a bit of sweating effects between the shots to simulate the pain and NO BENT ARMS while feigning pain, that would be supreme!

OK, now I described exactly what I want for Christmas.

I am also shocked by the the lack of support for the Justine IndieGogo Campaign. Amy and the gang at Pachamama have proven over and over that they can make a great GIMP movie if they have the funds to make it happen. Maleficarum was a big hit here when it was released and Justine promises to be even GIMPier. If you like the videos that a producer here makes, show them support by buying the film. I myself am buying at least 2 torture perks. This is probably the best way for me to afford a custom scene with Amy and company since I don't have the funds to fund a whole torture scene. I sure Amy and JJ in Maleficarum knew the limit of torque on limb joints to not pull out of its socket but with real medieval rack torture the idea was to pull them out of their sockets.

I read stories where men and women confessed while being pulled apart at the rack were carried and placed bound at the stake or hung in the sitting or laying position because they couldn't stand up much less walk. Also they were in such ungodly agony they pleaded to be killed.

Another cliche to be debunked is the clinking ratchet. I see it in millions of stories, how another notch of the wheel gets locked in place and remains there. Well, close study shows that it was not actually the case. El Wananchi was the only one from the fiction writers here who got it right, I believe. You stretch, you release. The mechanical limitation of the time was either in the lack of a spring to lock such a winch in place or the lack of a steel elastic enough to act as a spring leaf. So what was the available solution to keep a prisoner uncomfortable? Well, a plain piece of wood that would have block the roller handles. Yeah, it took a second fella to perform it the feat but that's how they did it. See something of this nature in Tudors' racking scenes.

The rack was a very versatile instrument, don't forget. Beside it's primary purpose, was a sure way to immobilize the victim for other torments. Forcing water in some overextended stomachs was performed on the rack. Why, you might ask? Because, despite what's seen on TV shows and personal imagination, torture chambers were relatively small places where such a multi-purpose item was highly valuable. According to "Castration and Culture in the Middle Ages" a certain amount of male martyrs were castrated using a similar device. Using torches, skin rippers and what's not, it was all done using a variant of a rack.

I really enjoy reading all these posts about the rack torture. From Amy and Margot's posts, it seems that the new rack being built is of the vertical standing variety. Anyone know much about that version of the rack? Any scenes in the rack database that use the vertical rack?

Unfortunately there are no new rack videos on line. I mean real good ones...women under intense interrogation, Inquisitor leaning over them...slow turning of the crank. A question after every notch, then another turn of the crank. Sweat covering her body, back ached, a brazier of glowing hot coals standing next to the rack awaiting it's use, if she doesn't "talk". Can't find that anywhere now...just the same old same old. If there is such a thing and is available...I would love to know where it is.

A lot of good information/opinion regarding rack torture. One thing I haven't seen (or just missed) was that Inquisition strictures prohibited drawing blood and then most Inquisitor priests really were holy prudes, so the rack and strappado were popular as they could be applied to fully clothed victims, although I'm not sure how much this carried over to the witch hunts. They were also well suited to the gradual infliction of extreme pain without as much risk of premature death, which the Church generally viewed as a failure to save their souls.

Rack mechanics certainly varied, but whichever method was used, precise control was desired. Here is one example of possibly the only worthy enhancement made possible by modern technology, electric motors. The tension can be adjusted a millimeter at a time for maximum control.

Now I'm not one to let reality and sexually inhibited priests get in the way of a good sadistic fantasy, so I ALWAYS have my victims naked and face up on the rack.

Here is one of my top 5 favorite rack images, also by Zell/Bazell. (And I have quite a few.) No actual torment yet, but the moment before when the victim is becoming increasingly aware of her helplessness and the horror she is facing, the understanding that her ordeal won't just be painful, but sexual as well as her naked body is caressed by the torturer. And as terrifying as it is for her, it is more pleasurable for him, combining sadistic foreplay with the anticipation of what he is going to do to her. His smile and her expression says it all, even without her flesh feeling the whip or irons. Mmmmm.

Yes, in some implementations. Also appearing in some contemporary illustration so that's true. The description of the method was implying more a rolling over the spikes than an adjuvant to stretching. Not really enlightening, I know. The Torture Museum in Amsterdam shows one such exhibit.

Some variant existed, as in the well-documented case of Marquise de Brinvilliers, a poisoneur. Stretching was limited though, as it was used more to increase the inconvenience of gulping large amounts of water and stress the stomach rather than stretching the body. One physiological factor here, as many of the older generations can attest is that the spine is not very well suited to take lateral compression/extensions. You can take logitudinal stretching a lot more. Simply put if you try to rack someone in that version you'll kill him/her very quickly. And as it was discussed here, I'm only talking in means of interrogation, not execution.

Listen to what you're recording while you run tape. If it sounds like shit, turn that sucker down. Louder is NOT necessarily better.

Fortunately, there were no such audio issues on this recent release, so hopefully things have been corrected at this point.

I think the main thing that has scared off contributors to the Justine IndieGogo campaign is the implication that you have to pay $500 to get a particular scene filmed. I'm not rich by any means, and 500 dollars is way too pricey for me. But the great thing is you don't have to pay that much if you can't afford it. Let's say you can only afford ten bucks, and trust me, everyone here should be able to at least give that much. Suppose you want to contribute to the Wheel scene. I checked with Amy, and she says all you have to do is mention it in the comments about where you want the funds to go. Easy peasy, you help finance the scene you want, and you don't have to blow the budget in the process.

Guys, let's give this campaign a boost. God knows it's a good cause. I threw in 10 bucks. If we all did that, they could make their goal easily. Who's with me? Here's the link. Let's help torture Amy!

I've added seven new entries to the comics section, and Ralphus has been kind enough to post them. This set includes a classic contribution by TRG and a request for some Lou Kagan by Flinstone. There's also another premiere of a restored and translated fumetto. This one had a lot more dialogue and text than I cared for, and in hindsight, I probably wouldn't have bothered with it. Still, I muddled my way through, so read the thing, damn it… don't just fast-forward to the good parts. As always, feedback is appreciated.

Poll: The vanilla porn of which Ralphus speaks was pretty common in the grindhouse days, and continued through the VHS and DVD eras. Personally, I never cared for it, so I'm no expert on how it evolved. I sometimes wonder if anyone watches only vanilla porn anymore. If they do, I would guess they are among the more unimaginative and MoR folks willing to indulge. After all, most of us can enjoy straight sex in real life, even if it costs a little more than a DVD. But getting a woman to submit to the rack and fifty lashes, or whatever else turns your crank, well, that's where high-speed internet saves the day. Vanilla? That's so twenty years ago.

Just a warning regarding "contemporary" depictions (illustrations) of racks (or any other torture machine). To begin with, medieval people were very unused to machines of any kind. For instance, the depictions of siege machine you find in illuminations are VERY inaccurate, most of them simply do not make sense as working machines. Second, most of the illustrators relied on hearsay; they had no access to the actual torture chambers, much less the proceedings. Third, those who brought to them narrated descriptions of the machines used, naturally had the limitations described above, if at all witnesses of the actual machines. Fourth, many machines extant today are in a sense "restorations": they have not reached us in the shape they had when actually in use, but a later, restored one. Of course, the people making the restorations had not had access to real working machines! Other "implements" might even be fakes; only that they are "antique fakes", so they look suitably real to us.

All that really conspires against illustrations and extant examples as truly reliable sources to learn the true shape/work of the real machines.

JD: thank you, mate. Within the technological limitations you mention, "revolving" stretching/spanning devices were available to medieval people, as the relatively sophisticated spanning devices in some crossbows attest. But I still think that the "stretch/release" method was not only imposed by technology but it was highly effective for interrogations as well, instead of a "linear increase" model which would lead to death from shock quite soon.

Absolutely right! I said sometime ago that wooden things in the dampness of a dungeon only last 100...200 years. Anything else is rebuilt more or less to bring in tourist money. The only exception we know for sure it's the original is the one in the Tower of London. The Brits take pride into saving every little bit of their history.

Correct again. The shapes I was floating around are only derivatisations of the engineering requirements and a proper understanding of the physics behind. My beef was against those feeble contraption you see in many (especially Eastern European) cities that are sold as genuine and their pictures are all over the net. They couldn't stretch an incongruent midget before snapping, embarassing the torturers and making the victim laugh with tears of joy.

Finally, as you also mentioned. the stretch and release was effective because our nerves, unlike our tendons and muscles are not very elastic in nature. They stretch a lot less than the rest of human tissue. So what happen is that nerves were actually snapping, inducing an unwanted anesthesia, defeating the purpose. I can imagine a medieval fella scratching his head in disbelief when his victim suddenly went at peace, despite being 6 inches taller than before.

Don't check in 'round here very often, but I'm a fairly regular reader of the forum.

I noticed the damaged files in the Kagan "Slave and the Lash" upload to the comics section & since I have the originals, just thought I'd give you all a shot at them.

BTW, these are scans a friend of mine did for me back in 2004 & I in turn did the editing for. I've just updated 4 of the scans since there were some things I simply couldn't see in my old 2004 CRT monitor that are clearly visible now. Not to mention, all the toys & games in new Photoshop which weren't in V. 7.1 made it a quick operation.

These have been floating 'round the web since I first posted them in '04 in one form or another, but this upload is of the original untrammeled files. ;)

Something to keep the post ontopic. To answer to some posters desire for some background information about an image, well, it's made in 2009, close to Halloween. It was cold outside and rainy. My neighbours' dogs were barking incesantly. I was staring bored at the screen, barely waiting for another vacation in Carribean. I felt like I needed it after that much stress in that summer+fall. Out of sheer boredom I went to some images I found online (from some image forums). I looked at the original of that and I thought ... Hey, that body looks like Buffy's in the first two seasons (before she turned certifiable anorexic). Hmmm, it would be fun if I'd try to find a frame with her head from that low angle. I found one, then using PSP 5.0 (good enough then, good enough now) I put them together. Here. No other background story.

Fritz: Thank you for putting The Adventures of Sweet Gwendoline in the comics section. Much of what we see now has its roots in this collection of drawings.

Gwen's raw sex appeal combined with her utter innocence make her a bondagette who is yet unsurpassed. She is to bondage comics as Story of O is to bondage fiction.

I got my copy of the book in 1983 in Paris, but unfortunately it’s all in French, a language I don’t read too well. The pictures don’t need translation, though.

Today's picture is a great erotic poser model but I agree with JD, chains were not likely used in racks. Rope was cheap and easy to make a rack with. I just can't see them using chains.

Also in this case the poser artist did a poor job of fitting the chain cuffs into the rack damsel's ankles and in her right hand a chain link is going through the base of her thumb.
Strange in that in poser programs you can adjust the angle, size and position of cuffs and chains so make a more natural look.

Like a lot of folks here I am a huge fan of the torture rack.

So here are one my own artistic efforts from a while back. Folks familiar with the Warrior of the Chevaan story may recognize the scenes :)

@Ed, that's a smoking hot electrotorture pic. It features my favorite variant of it: electrodes to the nipples. Which brings me to a question I have about its real-life application; say with a TENS machine or something similar. I've heard some electro enthusiasts claim you should only clamp one nipple, as clamping both might arc the electricity through the heart and cause cardiac arrest. I've heard others say that this is complete bullshit, and there is no difference in safety between clamping one or both nipples. Does anyone know which is true? Thanks!

To Fritz: Thank you for the new comics, especially the Kagan artwork. I agree that the theme is not my favorite one either, but the artwork is excellent, and he did do some warriors/DID captured and "worked on" also, which I enjoyed, as well as one mag with miscellaneous art that I really wish I still had. The other comics aren't bad either, and I really appreciate the effort and work on your part.

Why it's a favorite; I like to SEE my electro-victims reacting to the current in body and face. I agree that nipple electrodes are the best, get them erect and the teats stick out like cute sensitive battery terminals. Here is another by the same artist where the clips are about to be applied.

I don't know one way or the other about the dangers of clamping both, but assuming it's for consensual play, my attitude is why would you want to take the risk, however remote?

Concerning the rack debate, I'm sorry fellas but the Tower of London Rack is a recent construction "according to the best research and contemporary documents".
The old rack was burned in a fire in the Tower in the 1700's and nothing remains of other torture devices, only a device called "The Scavenger's Daughter" or
"Skeffington's Gyves", an all-iron piece which did not burn out.

Interesting discussion though on how the rack was used and some confusion between the rack and the Water Torture where the victim was held tightly by wrist
and ankle ropes, the bend in the spine being actually to stretch the stomach and upper intestines.

Here's another FA video I found, but not sure which title it is. I've noticed that the shocks are very erotic and seem to arouse the woman in many of their electro-torture scenes. Or maybe the woman is just trying to please the man, not sure. But in this scene she jumps around as he jolts her, and they violently kiss in between shocks.

The Sarah Butler one is supposed to release in a few months, there's no trailer, no news I can find, and at this point we don't even know if it'll even have any rape scenes.

On the rack....

Perhaps THE iconic instrument of torture. My first exposure was seeing the poster and ad for The Tower of London, in 1962. What a position! When I finally saw the movie, decades later, there was no shot of the near-naked lass stretched and sweating, but instead a lovely Sandra Knight (Mrs. Jack Nicholson at the time, I believe) suffering stoically under Vincent Prices arched eyebrow. Thrilling, nonetheless.... And the aesthetics of the position should be appreciated: I have yet to meet the woman whose body doesn't acquire some extra allure from a bit of stretching and ...glowing.

About the Indiegogo fund-raiser: I am among those for whom $500 is a bit rich, even if it does put the rack to work. I might, however, invest $200 to see the ladies' bare soles whipped or roasted as they enjoy a stretch on the rack, a spin on the wheel... Think of these as ancillary to the main event.

@Roger - Tower of London is one of those treasures that only us older deviants can truly appreciate. A sexy women being sexily tortured on screen at a time when you could not just jump on the internet and find all the torture porn and rape videos you could ever want.

Meanwhile, here is another one of my orginal Chevaan racking pictures with story. I don't do many drawings these days - not because I lack the skill, but because as I said above there was a time when stuff like this was a lot harder to find. Now days its easier to search the internet than do my own pics.

The most real rack, where the victim lies completely flat on the table, is very fine for single pictures. For me, who usually makes series of many pictures, this position doesn't allow enough variation, because the victim cannot move anything but fingers, toes and head. Furthermore it is almost impossible to show the slow increase of the stretching on the horizontal rack. I think the movie-makers here have the same problem with rack scenes - mostly static 'real stretching' vs. more action with movements that a stretched body could never do in reality.

So I'm mostly using racks where the roll is above the table. Here I can show more dramatic stretching with several poses like fully stretched flat, raise armed, raise chest, lift hip from table as shown in the pictures that are part of an animation. Of course the latter would need more than enough force to tear the victim in pieces... but here I forget the logic of physics for a moment :).

Perhaps the best book that discusses the rack is a book by Geoffrey Abbott: Rack, Rope, and Red-Hot Pincers. The author, a former Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London, describes the rack in some detail, including the one at the Tower, as well as the one used by priest-hunter Richard Topcliffe. He also describes the variations of the rack used in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and Germany as well.

The author also describes other methods of torture, such as strappado, the use of red-hot pincers, water tortures, the stocks, pillory, etc. It was written in 1993, so it may be out of print.

Nice photos...but where are some NEW videos of women being tortured on the rack? I mean slowly and with some added devices to make her talk or confess.

Actually the video is from a group called Electrotorture in Prague, eastern European. There are a number of them that are high-B. Entertaining to watch the attempts at communication between the bad guy cranking the generator to produce the current and the girls emoting. Sometimes the girl will suddenly scream and shudder and the guy has to grab the crank and rapidly turn it a few times, etc.

re 8275, Burngreave: it's from Electrotorture in Prague, a very nice series of vignettes, which I hope continue.

Fritz: Really enjoyed the latest GIMP Comics update. Lots of great variety this time...I had never seen the entire Gwendoline series before, just individual frames. That really is a classic of the genre, and the tight bondage work can't be beat. It's no wonder they've stood the test of time.

And even though I'm not a true manglehead, I was also loved the over-the-top fun of your own series Nikki's Final Mission. The poser artwork is well done and the humorous, sadistic dialogue reads a lot like the stories I've read from you. Very entertaining stuff.

BTW, the doll snuff story was from the artist named The Spike (see our Notable Guests page), who ran the late website called Plastic Penetration Productions....one of my favorites and also among the most unique and imaginative GIMP-related sites ever. We used to link to them back in the mid-2000's and The Spike himself was a sometimes poster here, too. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any archived version of it available anymore...that's one I would gladly restore for this site if I could. I do, however, have a number of his complete stories left on my hard drive if you ever want to add any more, and he did do at least one that included text. I've run stills from his site at the top of the GIMP in the past...hard to believe that bondage pics featuring Barbie dolls could be so stimulating.

Tower of London: A true mainstream classic, with a beautiful victim and of course, the great Vincent Price as the bad guy dishing out the treatment. A quick check revealed we have very sharp video print of the scene in the Torture Rack Database, which I'll reproduce here.

There's been a lot of discussion of the Rack in recent posts here. But these discussions are limited to only one type of rack.

Granted, the "bed" type of rack does have some advantages, from the point of view of the interrogator. There's complete access to whichever side of the Damsel is presented, allowing for full use of whips, spiked Joneses, or hot irons, as desired. And even without any extras, the operation of the rack all by its lonesome can produce sufficient pain to induce loquacity in even the most recalcitrant subjects.

But there are, in fiction if not in fact, other types of racks. The 'wheel" type is sometimes seen. A particularly ingenious variation on this can be seen in Page 21 of "Island of Captive Girls" over in the GIMP Comics section. This type also allows access to all exposed parts oft the subject's form, if any additional work is desired.

Stanton, in one of his serials, posited the idea of a rack that stretched the limbs by pulling on the midriff, with the subject fastened by wrists and ankles to a frame, and tension being applied by pulling on the midriff.

Some of the artists at deviantart.com have some ideas on more inventive versions of the rack. BMovieVilain has posited the idea of an automatic rack whose power is regulated by a swinging, descending Poe's Pendulum.

Even more inventive was an idea put forth by one Doctor Domino, a prose writer back about a decade or so ago. He put forth the idea of a bed-type rack poised directly beneath a massive block of stone, which was to be slowly lowered onto the subject. As it descended, the rack would tighten. The idea was to put the prisoner into a double peril--threatened with being crushed alive by the block, and stretched to and past the breaking point by the automatic rack.

Pygmalion and Justine

We're in a path of new discoveries. Some of them amazing, some not at all great, some kind of sad. It has to do with what we are doing presently. There's a saying in the US, Time is Money. It's a philosophy that it's not shared all over the world, but it does mean something in our case these times of excitement, living on the edge of our economic conditions, using our time in ways that make us extremely happy and anxious, but spending all the money. This is no longer a One Man Crew/Torturer One Woman Cast/Victim style of production. Not anymore, those times are long gone. We have a big team now, and it's a team of real professionals in all areas of production.

We're completing the production of Pygmalion. Not a GIMP movie, not at all. It's erotic, it has S&M elements, like most of Jac's and Amy's work. Some may say is very subdued in its portrayal of sadomasochistic relationships, but some may find it more engaging to a larger audience. It doesn't mean to please. In fact, Pygmalion has its own life now. Something happened on the road from the script to the production. Jac wrote the script, Amy is directing it and from the written word to the actual image there's a transformation. It's a funny, erotic movie. It looks very pretty too.

So, Amy has a fifth feature film under her garter belt and we have a new production in our editing suite. These are exciting times. I think. And we have JUSTINE ahead of us. Before we embark in JUSTINE, Amy has a request. One week vacation, full vacation. She just finished directing one movie, acting in it, and she's now producing, directing and running around the salty lands of UYUNI with a music video. Obviously, she will need a vacation.

Jac's intention is to shoot JUSTINE in September, but things are not always they way he wants them to be. So, the most likely scenario is that he'll start shooting in October. And the one week vacation that Amy wants, may happen in Mexico, where she will be heading the first week of October to a very important festival with her film OLALLA. She was invited to participate of this festival. The official announcement is coming out August 17th, so I can't mention which festival it is at this point, but it's happening. Amy is going to have her vacation in Mexico after all.

The pre-production of JUSTINE is underway, of course. It started long ago, when Amy built The Stocks. And as you all know we have our IndieGoGo campaign which is advancing very slowly to its big goal and I think that's what I'm going to talk about now.

JUSTINE is the decisive film for Jac and Amy. One of the discoveries we are making is showing us that having strong GIMP scenes in films like Dead But Dreaming and OLALLA does not really help that much. It actually limits the larger potential of those films. I often read in this appreciated forum many comments on films with GIMP content, praising those films because of their 1 minute GIMPY scene and which sometimes does not even involve nudity. Some of those films have a huge following outside the GIMP crowd, which, by the way, may not be a large crowd at all.

And what is my point? If Dead But Dreaming and OLALLA had half the GIMP content and more drama, they actually may do better in the larger market. Screen time equals Audience's money. These great films are not doing that well in the GIMP market and they are limited in larger nich markets. That's my point. There's interest in the vampire community for Dead But Dreaming, with good reviews, million plus hits on the trailer, and so on. Vampire lovers want their vampire movies more about the vampires and less about other stuff like loooooong GIMP scenes where they have to seat and count as many as 36 lashes in one scene alone. Dead But Dreaming and the possible sequels have the potential of creating a large cult following. But the way to reach that following is through cable tv and other media where long, extended GIMP scenes do limit our possibilities. They also take a lot of time and money to set them up properly and a longer time to shoot them, while, a vampire pursuing a victim, biting her neck and then having sex with her is easy to shoot and has more of a cult following.

That's what I mean by JUSTINE being the decisive film in our path. The IndieGoGo campaign is not exactly contradicting my point. I wonder what would happen if we put all of our efforts in promoting other aspects of our work. Jac likes GIMP and he will always manage to sneak a scene or two in his movies, like he did with his first film, a docudrama set in Haiti where he has a crucified woman in a sugar cane field and a two brief scene where women are whipped. The question lingering here is: do we have enough of an audience to keep this work going at the level we want it to go?

Maleficarum is a success in our book, but in terms of actual income, it does not do better than what Jac would take in a year salary if he worked in some mid level position at a TV station. Right. He does what he does because he loves it. Period. And now he's preparing something so magnificent that he would love to have all the means to do it the best way possible. That's the reason for the IndieGoGo campaign. The hope is that there are enough people out there willing to push this project ahead. So far we are grateful to 38 wonderful supporters who contributed from as little as 1 dollar to over 1,000 per person. No amount is too little, no amount is too big. With their amazing help we only reached 28% of our goal in ONE month. We have 28 days of the IndieGoGo campaign left. Can we make it?

Ralphus said that maybe not many people can put forth 500 dollars for a perk, but a lot of people can put 25 for an advance purchase of a download, or simply donate any amount to our efforts. The film will be made regardless of how much we reach with the IndieGoGo campaign. But since the cash pays for the making of it, the less we have, the less production values the film will have. For instance, instead of four great locations, we might end up with 1 or 2. Instead of a nice crowd of actors and actresses in costumes, we might have just a few. That's how it works. In Dead But Dreaming we had only one financed sequence, The Whipping Scene. For that scene we had a great location, we built the set, we had a nice crowd, great uniforms for the soldiers and so on. And we worked 5 days, torturing Amy, every day, many hours a day, in front of a crowd.

Later on, Mila had a chance of being tortured but the budget allowed for a very short nailing scene. The great far off location was very expensive and we had a crew and cast there for two days. Jac needed four days to make it work properly, so he had to live with half of his dream scene. We can only imagine what would it have been it Jac had the funding for it.

For JUSTINE we have a great STOCKS scene fully funded! It calls for a good number of people to be in it. It also calls for a nice location and it specifically calls for Amy to be sentenced to 50 lashes before she's put on the stocks where she's raped and people throw rotten fruit at her. That perk did not come cheap. In fact, like Ralphus before in Maleficarum, that initial support by our very first Associate Producer was the push that started JUSTINE.

As of this writing JUSTINE has three contributors to put her on The Wheel. One contributor short of our goal. We have the potential of having a great scene.

Two contributors are backing for JUSTINE and others to be put on The Cross. The question is, how grand the crucifixion scene is going to be?. Will it be as grand as it is in Jac's mind? Will it be only half of what it can be? If there's one experience that Jac has in producing is the crucifixion. He has done it so many times that with the proper support he can make something truly grand happen.

The Rack has one contributor so far. We have one great rack scene in Maleficarum, and another in Le Marquis De La Croix. JUSTINE has ONE contributor, outside of the campaign, a direct contribution, for an Upside Down Suspension scene, where we will see Justine and Rosalie, suspended by their ankles. Someone suggested that while they are in such position, a bit of water torture could take place. Well... if someone is willing to match that contribution with another 800, it can happen.

We met only 28% of our IndieGoGo campaign, so far. We would like to reach at least 50% or our goal. As in our past campaign, for OLALLA, we only showed 40% success at the end, but we had outside contributors who sent the funds bypassing the campaign, directly to us via Pay Pal or to our bank. At the end of the campaign OLALLA had all the funds needed to make the fantastic BATS scene with a crowd and in a really great location.

JUSTINE has twice of what you see in our campaign now because of those two contributors for The Stocks and The Suspension scenes. However, we still need a big push. Any contribution to our campaign helps, of course. The more of those small contributions, the better. Are you willing to take that small step for a man, but a giant leap into danger for a Girl in Merciless Peril?

IndieGoGo has 7 contributors, 5 come from direct e mail, 8 from Facebook, and surprisingly 0 from the Crux Foundation! and only 1 from the Crux Forums. So, it appears that the crucifixion scene is JUSTINE will be, again, a labor of love. There are two contributors, so it's not bad. But the core of the crucifixion crowd, that has a home in those two forums, are not too enthusiastic about our efforts. The total contributions from the crux crowd, other than those two strong supporters, is 38 bucks. I hope those figures change soon. It would be very disappointing if it doesn't.

I read in high school for a book report that this method of torture for a confession or execution was used on the true John and Mary Alden in the true Salem witch trials.
I'm not sure about the rack part but large stones were piled on their torsos in an effort to get them to confess to being witches. They didn't and their chests were crushed.
This inquisition method of torture was used quite often but not talked about here or I haven't seen anything about this method of torture. It's not a dungeon torture or necessarily erotic torture so maybe that's why. Bill K.

In my previous post, the crushing the death of John and Mary may not have happened but at least one person was executed by this method and maybe the author of the book I read 40 years ago stretched the truth.

It should be stressed that a skilled operator, and a less-overenthusiastic interrogator would have made the proceedings last a whole night. A resourceful director would be able to put that in film. In this line, I cannot prevent thinking of it as a kind of glorified teaser. But what a teaser it is!

It was called peine forte et dure (also just "pressing") and it wasn't specifically a method of execution, but a tactic used when the accused refused to enter a plea, since if they pled guilty or non guilty and were executed, their property was confiscated and wouldn't pass to their heirs. The most famous was Giles Corey in the Salem Witch Trials. Tradition says his last words were "More weight" before he died. It is in American literature in Arthur Miller's The Crucible.

It's no way you can stretch anyone on that rack. I love the gorgeous Sandra Knight and her acting but the props they used are laughable. The only one way they could strech someone on that would require a drum handle at least 12 feet long and maybe 6 people pushing in unison. At that device she was given at best a therapeutic stretching and probabily she enjoyed it after so many hours in the stocks.

My rule of thumb. Any scene where the torturer suffers apparently more than his victim stands for comedy and I laugh copiously.

Gimpers real or not it's Ok by me to stretch the truth about what the rack did or didn't do. How about using rack to hold down damsels for pendulum peril?

The CRUX of the matter is how much are Amy, Jac, cast and crew willing to do to keep this ship going. It is not so much a matter of compromising one's vision. It's more about whether that vision can be successfully accomplished. It's like this. We have some wonderful ladies willing to do extraordinary things for a movie, some even dangerous, most of those situations are always painful and as time passes they don't see their efforts bear the fruits they would like to see, like a raise in their income, not only their welts and bruises. Meanwhile, their directing and acting efforts, not to mention their production achievements, where for less than $10,000 they make period movies that have the look of a million dollar movie, have gotten the attention of other producers, filmmakers, critics, festival directors, distributors, including someone in HBO, who claim for their work but in other type of movies. What can these wonderful ladies and gents do?

The perks are meant for those supporters willing to put out a large amount of cash and have a say in what we want to do. However, people can put $25 for a download that when it comes out will cost $30 or more. They will have to wait, sure, but they will be the first to get their download. Every cent counts. Today I saw the funds go from $5,510 to $5,693 from one person who got a download and another who asked for a DVD but put down a total of $158 as a contribution to the project. And here's a point, every dollar contributed will go to cover the entire movie, the perks included. So... Just go for it with whatever you can and help us put those STOCKS to work before the cat turns them into his scratching posts.

Crowd funding is fairly new. Most poor filmmakers hope their relatives and friends will get enthusiastic and open their virtual checkbooks to send them money. There were, however, ways of raising money for film projects through tax exempt organizations that would accept funds for filmmakers, such as Jac, who partly funded his elaborate film on Haiti this way. The total cost of the production was near half a million dollars, he shot that on film, of course, just the laboratory costs were more than 6 of our new films. It took him 8 years of his life to make it.

And just as the GIMP community's diverse range of interests, the people he sought after had, too, a diverse opinion on the issues of human rights, poor countries and evil dictators. And they too had a diverse list of criteria that Jac had to meet to get those small funds, a couple of thousand at a time. But he also had the chance to get some biggies to help, like the National Film Board of Canada and Channel Four UK , something he can't do with his films now. So, it's up to the people who love our movies for us to continue making them, really. And that's what filmmaking is all about, right? Who supports most movies? Their audience, of course. We have a small audience and growing needs. That is the CruX of the matter. Now, these fellows would love to get their hands on Justine. Will you help them?

S4 Reloaded by Insex was a great electro torture video but it's nowhere to be found on the internet.

Ed's got it pretty much right as to peine forte et dure, and why it was used. There were occasional women who faced this method of "persusasion", but, as with most crimes and criminals, the usual victim was male.

In he Doc Domino story referred to earlier, the stone block was suspended above her body, looming over everything from shoulders to knees. As it descended, the automatic rack would tighten, stretching her to a painful degree. Thus, it was to be a race between a crushing death and a painful stretch that could be fatal in the long run.

This story first appeared in a Yahoo group called "Predicaments and Perils". That group was removed from the Web in late 2004, to be superseded by the Kate_Starbuck_Investigations groups.

Most of the stories that had been posted were lost in the ether. But a large part of the Doc Domino tale was saved on somebody's hard drive, and can be found in the "files" section of Kate_Starbuck_Investigations. You need an invitation to get into this group.

Don't forget in Tower of London the girl had already been tortured for several hours [with whips and hot irons I think, though it was off camera]. So by the time she got on the rack she was not exactly at 100%.

Of course looking at the movie now it's easy to be critical, the same way that we can look back at 1960's Star Trek episodes and see how they don't really stack up against modern efforts.

But again, at a time when you could not find all the GIMP action you wanted on the internet [because it didn't exist!] this scene was gold. You can bet when it came out on VHS decades later quite a few Video Rental Stores found the tape was getting worn out in that particular point of the movie from being watched over and over by us torture fans ;)

For JulietteA; Here's a simple, inexpensive rack design in use. Made with two 2" x 12" planks and a 1-ton comealong, I think you'll start to come apart long before it bends very much.

Note to affectionados of faux medieval and fantasy racks: They're really silly-looking with those windlass drums that look like they're used for getting a bucket of water out of a 50-foot well.

Hey all - I have a question for everybody

As many of you know I have been doing commission writing work recently. Thanks to all those who have sent work my way. Its a pleasure to send you stories.

What I was wondering was, would folks out there be interested in subscribing to a GIMP story list. These would be new stories never before published online. Much like what our good friend Quoom does, with literature instead of art.

I only do this part time, so I was thinking a subscription of $2 per installment. I would write a story chapter of around 2000 words and post it. Folks could then pay me and send me an email address, and I could post the writing to them. I am happy to provide free teaser's so folks have an idea of what they are paying for.

Obviously this is a lot less of a cost than what I charge for commissions, but in commissions you get EXACTLY what you want, tailored to your individual fantasies. And I have to say my commission rates are pretty low compared to others, most of whom charge between 1c and 2c a word.

So what do you say guys? Would you pay money to see stories like Warrior of the Chevaan continued, along with tales of female prisoners of war, captured spies, sci fi sex tortures?

Whoopsie, egg all over my face. You're absolutely right, it's even got your name on the title page. It's an outstanding series nonetheless, and definitely worthy of inclusion into the GIMP Comics section, if I can have your permission to reprint it.

You know, I was thinking about my statement yesterday that it was hard to believe that bondage pics featuring Barbie dolls could be so stimulating. Because if you look at it, practically all the great Poser works we see here and elsewhere use a form of the same type of plastic doll models, the only difference is they are digital and created in the computer, whereas you and Spike took actual dolls and painstakingly took individual photographs. I'm not sure which is more work, but they're both definitely an art form.

Here's some video snaps from my own work with Barbie dolls, when I borrowed a video camera back in the 1990s and burned Barbie at the stake in my parent's fireplace. Yep, I was just like Sid in the first Toy Story movie, the kid who liked to torture toys. What a great kid, I wonder if he reads this forum? Well, the comparison is flawed. In Star Trek in the 60's they were trying to anticipate the FUTURE, a valiant effort. In "Tower Of London" they were trying to replicate the PAST. Just a matter of due diligence in research.

Big news! I just threw another $500 to finish off the perks allotment for using the wheel as a torture device in the upcoming "Justine" film. I'm not sure which version of the wheel will be used - the one used in "Nuevo Mondo" or the one used in "Women in Cages" - but either one certainly holds possibilities for new and unique tortures not normally shown in a mainstream film. Hopefully more than just Ms. Hesketh will take a spin or two or ten.

Now, if someone would step up and finish off the crucifixion perks, we might have a very good movie.

Made a whipping scene using the Skyrim world under the influence of heavy mods. I hope one day there are mods good enough to make this stuff as convincing and erotic as normal CG animation programs.

Congratulations Mr. Associate Producer! I am glad to see that one of the torture perks get fully funded. I already gave $500 once for the crucifixion torture and I hope to see another person give towards the torture. I was never into the Crux fetish until Red Feline came along.

With all the talk of the Rack lately, I am disappointed to hear that the Rack perk is getting no love. I would love to see the many ideas discussed from the last few days be included in the movie. I hope someone can show this perk some love.

For those hoping to see Amy and Mila in an upside down suspension torture with the possibility of adding water to the torture, worry no more. I have committed to Amy that as long as no one else claims to pay for this scene, I will be happy to fund the water torture scene. I'm glad to see that Amy is willing to face her fears again like she did in Agent X. If someone beats me to it, I'll just use the funds towards another torture scene instead. Justine is looking to be another great torture filled film and I am glad that it will include a water torture.

That artwork series by Quoom was actually inspired by the rack scene from 2nd part of the Red Feline Inquisition series. Camille is the one on the rack in the movie and in the pictures by Quoom. This scene needs to be added to the Rack database. I would write one up and review the movie, but I can't because the film is only on DVD and I only buy the downloadable versions. Maybe Quoom can write up the excerpt for the Rack database for us since I believe he has seen the movie.

Here is a screen cap from the rack scene I mentioned from the 2nd part of the Red Feline Inquisition series. I got this from a preview shown from one of my RF movies. From what I can see in the previews, Camille is placed upon a rack that is above some heated source. Other than being stretched on the rack, she has a nail impaled into her and also gets branded with a hot iron as well. This scene should please those who like fiery tortures.

How old is the 2nd part of the Red Feline Inquisition series then? Sorry I'm not up on the history of Red Feline much before Maleficarum.

True...To be honest, I watched the movie in 2012 only (after 5 years...how did I miss it?) I like the movie..Thinking to sponsor sequel "Black Ribbon-2" but with some better cast.

Malficarum had enough rack torture to last me the rest of my life, but I am really looking forward to the crucifixion scene in Justine. It's going to feature THREE lovely ladies, naked (I assume) on crosses! How awesome is that?

I would help fund it myself but I've already forked over a good amount of money (outside of the Indiegogo campaign) for the upside-down suspension scene, plus donated another $150 through the campaign.

Hey guys,

I thought it was high time I do another review, though this is more of a quick heads up on a great scene I haven't seen mentioned here. To those of you who loved The Disappearance of Alice Creed, you'll be happy to know the Dutch decided to remake it last year. And when I say remake I mean they found some different actors, tweaked like two things in the script and slapped a new title on it. Not that I'm complaining. Why fix what wasn't broken, right?

The original title of the movie is Bloedlink (later retitled as Reckless). Sarah Chronis (who?) takes the place of Gemma Arterton, and while she may not be as high profile, she does a slightly better job in the nudity department. This time we get full frontal and shots with her face and body together, neither of which we saw from Gemma unless you count the photos the guy pulls up on his computer later in the movie.

Now, I don't know about you guys, but I feel like there are still other ways to shoot this scene. We need at least another three remakes. Oh and long live the Dutch! I think I can finally forgive them for killing us in the last Winter Olympics.

Further Ordeals of Red Feline and Melissa is indeed the movie I am referring to. Here is the thing about the release of this movie. Every Red Feline/ Pachamama movie is available on DVD. However, all but 2 of the movies are available for download (Part 2 and 4 of the Inquisition series). Amy told me that because of technical reasons I don't understand, they were not able to convert it to the FluxDVD format correctly. Other priorities have delayed the release. Part 4 which has been reviewed by Sardu (Execution of the Unrepented) is one I really want to see. Sardu's review mentions a great impaling scene that begs to be redone in their big production movies. Hope Sardu can can share some screen caps if he is still around. Regarding the trailer for the Inquisition series, they do not exist online. You can only watch the trailer from an RF movie itself.

Come on, people, let's have some support for Justine!

I am interested in buying some of the Blakemore era movies of Cal Star. I already checked the Vintage Punishment clips4sale store and see a good number of them. Are all the Blakemore Cal Star films up there? I also checked the Classic Cal Star clips4sale page run by Cal Star itself. Prices are much higher however. How long was Blakemore with Cal Star? I already bought The Escape and plan on getting the 2 Tourist Trap films next.

Ralphus (in 8283): Thanks for the props. I'm no Sweet Gwendolyn expert, but I don't think the comics in TRG's submission are the entire series. My understanding is that there were quite a few more stories and pics by Willie. Also, I'm not sure if any of those posted here was the Wink debut. Was there any accompanying text in that book? Perhaps someone with the goods on Gwen can share a bit more of her history.

As for the doll decimation, it appears this truly depraved pastime is more widespread than I had feared. Now that you mention it, I do recall the site at which War Crimes first appeared was call Plastic Penetrations, but I have no recollection of someone named Spike, nor that he was a GIMP contributor long ago. When I update GIMP comics with the improved Kagan scans, I'll also make sure to acknowledge the original artist for this entry.

Yet to think that not just Spike, Cannon and Sid, but also MrAnthony and even our own moderator have engaged in such vile, viscious acts of carnage against innocent and clearly defenceless fashion plates… well, I'm speechless. Just how pervasive is this perversion? And does it account for Ralphus's insistence that the burning scene in Don't Go In The House was accomplished with the aid of a mannequin, which after all, is just a life-sized Barbie? Color me astonished.

Like JD, I'm (thankfully) not one of you freakin' weirdos who delights in doll devastation, so I was not intending to add further episodes by Spike or any other plastic penetrators to the comics section. Really. But with so many of you Mattel-hating maniacs out there, what will I do now?

BTW, Ralphus… is MrAnthony's burning Barbie any good? Should I choose another from my own Spike collection? You got any good ones? I mean… I'm just askin'.

Fumetti Update: It took less than a week, but my GIMP comics translation of this fumetto has already appeared on Vintage Comics. What's surprising is that the older ones have not yet shown up, but I'm sure they soon will. Although Vintage Comics requires a server fee for downloads (so is making money from what can be acquired here for free) I don't mind. In fact, I was fully expecting my restorations and translations to show up at VC, E-Hentai and similar repositories where fumetti can be found. After all, the stuff is free and I claim no copyright. I do the same when adding comics here, though I usually clean them up a bit first. I'm certainly not alone in this, and virtually all of Akujo's excellent work (again, available gratis at Groovy Age of Horror), is being ported to archives where users must pay to download. C'est la vie, and “buyer” beware.





However, what really busts my nut about this recent appropriation is that the individual who chose to find another home for work that is not his (and yes I know who it is), also went to the trouble of removing the cover page and credits, thus implying that he did the work. When I see Akujo's translations reposted, folks (usually) have been kind enough to include the page on which he credits not only himself, but also the original artist and writer. I have tried to do the same, but someone apparently feels such information should be bowdlerized so he himself can claim authorship.

I've seen this sort of plagiarism before (rarely, thank goodness), and to my mind it is the worst form of creative infraction. Even the most unscrupulous bootleggers don't cut the credits from a movie and claim they directed it. I've contacted VC and left a comment to either add the cover page or remove the fumetto. The mods screen such input, so I doubt my request will be posted, much less acted on. Instead, I'm expecting my other fumetti translations to appear there, also with the covers absent. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for sharing my work and that of others, so long as it's free and uncopyrighted. I can also understand accidental infringements, ommissions or not identifying unknown parties. But to deliberately remove the name of authors or artists before reposting their work is crossing the line.

Sadly, this incident has completely extinguished my already dwindling interest in restoring and/or translating fumetti in the future. I didn't do this work because it's fun, but because I felt folks would appreciate cleaned up and understandable versions of classic GIMP comic art. I received some very positive feedback, so I know my efforts did not go unappreciated. Unfortunately, as they say, it takes just one bad apple, and so long as this one rotten piece of putrid fruit is out there trying to take credit for something I did, I see no reason to feed his ego. For those who enjoyed the GIMP fumetti, thanks again. If you want more, I highly recommend Akujo at GAOH, who continues to publish his excellent scanlations (with due credit preserved).

GIMP Poll: Since the water wheel torture is not a choice and mostly confirmed to not be in the film, I choose E. All those options are great and seeing them all is even better. We will have to see what the 3 donors (Thomas Chaser gets 2 perks) suggest for the actual torture.

Since I became a fan of the crux scenes since learning about RF, I myself may double dip into the Cross perk. Share any ideas you have for the possibilities of at least 3 girls getting crucified. Ideas from RF films you have seen are OK to share as well. My favorite thing RF did in their crux scenes is to impale nails into their flesh. It adds to the pain and weakens the victim as well.

I'm not sure you're right, here. Rapidgator, the server is free (but with some restrictions like most of the similar sites). I don't think Charles, the guy running the show makes money directly, from what I've seen when I had a Rapidgator account all the downloads other people are doing from your files gives you some (small) credit toward your next month paid membership. If you have a HUGE audience and your files are relly LARGE, you might end up having your monthly subscription paid. I don't think the fumetti lovers are that many and his ZIPs are rather small files. I found cheaper to pay 3 dollars a month for a proxy server that allows me to bypass the IP restrictions than to pay 15 dollars for a premier membership with Rapidgator.

To give a bit of perspective about how much money are made on Rapidgator, the whole readership of ralphus.net (about 100 downloads of files of roughly 100 MB) produced 45 cents in a week. Less than 2 dollars (as credit, not actual money) a month. I had to pay from my pocket the difference to 15 dollars. Zippyshare OTOH doesn't have any reward scheme but it's also less fussy about bandwidth and cooldown periods.

I'm confused by the choices in the new poll, because if you are not going to spin the gimp why bind her on a wheel in the first place?

Unless you are just talking about binding her to a wheel in the X position of the body. In that case my choice would be A but spin her so her feet or legs and head spin in and out of a campfire.

I have seen one cowboy movie where that was done to a bad guy by Indians. have seen several drawing of Indians tying women to a wheel torturing her. You could spin her and whip her same time too so I choice A and B.

The choice of burn her or brand her is not there either. I guess if it not free spinning wheel it would be B.

Re: the poll.
Of course one of the "real-life" uses of the wheel was to use clubs to break the bones of arms and legs--again, something that always seemed like a huge waste of carbon-based resources to me--is not on the list. Glad for that.

No surprise that whipping would be high on my list, perhaps one woman turning the wheel (under the whip) as the other is whipped on it, giving a constantly changing range of angles and targets. Even better, turn the spinnerette around and bind her arms to the wheel with her back against it, so she has to move sideways to turn it. That makes for a whole set of very attractive targets and visuals. One thing PM doesn't really do much of is whipping between the legs, which the spreadeagle position on the wheel makes quite accessible.

Re the cross idea, I love the use of a dildo or sharpened beam "support" between the legs to "assist" the young lady and help her last longer.

I took pains to explain that's not the case. No one is making REAL money here. Rapidgator files can be accesed FOR FREE with some bandwidth restriction and some cooldown periods. But it's basically FREE.

Also he posted you comments on his site and added:

1) The original cover is in the zip file. I just chosen the page that better explained the content. I don't remove anything!
2) Fritz (you?) is in the Credits since 2 days down the right column, after the series list.
3) The original comics come from here and BDTrash and I didn't see our credits on Ralphus

In his defense he's using a Google translate but you get the message.

My take is he's doing some good work out of passion (and his blog is INVALUABLE for any fumetti lover). And it's basically for free. Even if someone upgrade to premium at Rapidgator, he doesn't make a dime. Not with the files he shares. You need to traffic large HiRes movies to thousands of people to make a dent.

Last thing to mention, Charles' blog is completely DIFFERENT from Rapidgator, right? He only chose it among other billion of servers offering the same services. It's not like WIP where the hosting service WIPFILES.NET belongs to the same guy who's running the movie site WIP.

Thanks for the feedback on the Skyrim vid.

Truth is making movies in a game world, even one as accommodating as Skyrim is with a freely camera, still suffers many limitations when compared to Poser. For instance a set of animations where the one getting whipped reacts with each strike...as far as I know there's no way to do that yet and not even any mods that carry such a set of animations. I could make the animations and mods myself...something I've dabbled in but then I quickly learn that in doing so it's actually easier to just learn Poser or another CG program, as JD suggested.

But with those programs and using my own scratch resources I'm probably going to make everything else ugly...ugly sets...ugly girls etc. that's one thing the Skyrim modding community gets exceptionally right...filming pretty locations and women is easy with what's out there.

I've been reading up on SFM though...which is sort of an awesome program that can potentially combine the best of both worlds (gaming and movies). Some amazing stuff has already been done with it by a group called Studio FOW...stuff that's about half of what interests most people here (that is...they are videos with mostly rape but torture isn't really on the menu). Still they are worth checking out for the awesome stuff they've done using game models and sets.

SFM doesn't support every game though...not Skyrim at least...but it supports enough that I feel it'd be pretty cool to learn.

I've only seen one three-girl crucifixion and that was in "Flower and Snake", a Japanese film that centers on one woman's sale to the Yakuza to pay off a debt. It was beautifully shot and has a gorgeous Aya Sugimoto as the lead actress. If you're a fan of crux films, you'll want to add this one to your list.

As for the wheel, I've seen it used in a couple of films - "Women in Cages" being my favorite, with "Rope and Breasts" a close second. What I like about WiC is that Roberta Collins is spun several times as her torture, which leaves no marks. After spinning fails to achieve results, Pam Grier's characters spins and adds cutting with a trident. I'm not a fan of blood and my complaints with the early Red Feline films are the excessive use of blood effects (along with piss-poor lighting). I'm concerned that Jac may go overboard with the fake blood; more blood does NOT equal more horror. Since I carry 50% of the decision-making on the wheel perk, I'm sort of relying on this forum's answers to the poll to figure out what to do either after or in addition to spinning the girl on the wheel. Foot torture and/or some sort of dunking or fire as she's spun would be interesting to see (similar to what was done in "Rope and Breasts") but I'm not sure Pachemana has the resources to fake it safely. So what else instead? Hot wax? Whipping? The pear? Maybe whipping and the pear?

I just noticed the movie "Voodoo Moon" has some nice nude GIMP scene of Georgia Underson.

You could argue a fixed (no spin) wheel and a cross if the feet or ankles are free or are not bound or nailed together is the same thing.

Is the Justine wheel is going to be wagon type wheel? I see posts of the corn mill water type wheel torture too.

@Fritz: I just d/l-ed the STORIE BLU N°29 archive from Vintage Comics and Charles is right. In the archive there are all the files, including the one crediting you. At no point from what I can see Charles tried to take credit from the authors he posts FREE to download on his blog. He doesn't credit individuals on every post, that's true, but keeps a list of ouvriers in the home page and your name is in the same place with Akujo. :)

Thanks mstrmagician. Same fucking thing. The authors took the effort to make a decent rack approximation, don some proper garb yet the 'actress' is feigning pain with her arms comfortably relaxed, in a casual manner. WTF? Are they blind? Don't they see the goof right there? I don't expect them to put the poor female to any actual pain but at least get all the slack rope off table. Is that hard?!?

No problem about your upload of the Kagan comic. As I said, it's been all over the web for years. I only took the time to upload because a few of the scans in your zip didn't load completely when they were being downloaded. I checked it twice, just to be sure.

I haven't been in contact with the scanner for years & he seems to have completely dropped from sight, but his initials are "JM".

Poll: A & B. And her legs must be widely spread when she is tied to the wheel.

As it seems there are two different "Wheels" in play, I will address them separately. For the Drum Wheel, I have to go with B, whip her. (Of course, "whip her" is my default answer to pretty much every such poll, especially as my victims ALL face outward.) Burning her feet with candles is ok, as fire should always be a worthy option, but why limit the heat to the feet?

Here I offer one from one of the finest gimp animators extant, Agan Medon. Certainly the wench could and should be whipped first, but administering a little leather action following each turn would have the added effect of finding nerves recently irritated by the flames.



The other gifs are too big to post, but here are three more images of a drum wheel scene he has animated, except the actual action shows the girl actually rotating over the coals to roast her torso. As this wheel holds the girl spread-eagled, it is much easier to aim the whip between her legs with every rotation. There is also the lovely way it offers the under curves of the breasts as they change shape.

I also noticed that red hot irons were not mentioned, but I'm a glutton for punishment. (Just not my own.-)

I'm wondering the same thing. Early in the discussion I posted the wheel from "Women in Cages", the wheel from "Nuevo Mondo", and the version from "Rope and Breasts". From a budget standpoint, I doubt we're going to get anything as elaborate as the R&B wheel. That leaves either the WiC wheel or the NM wheel. I suspect it will be the WiC wheel due to simplicity of design, ease of transport to the location (since I doubt they will use a soundstage), and re-purpose-ability (if that's a word). Whether or not it will spin, I can only hope. I hope it does, otherwise, as has been pointed out, they might as well use a cross.

Ed, that's perfect! That wheel design is very similar to what I think Amy, Jac, et. al. will end up doing. There is just one issue with the animation: there needs to be something to hold the hips steady. In my "Women in Cages" example, there's a very solid-looking leather and chain belt that holds the victim's center of gravity in place. Roberta Collins is held in five points: both wrists, both ankles, and the hip belt. Even so, her body shifts slightly with the change in gravity and body position. I can see where being spun on a wheel would be both thrilling and torturous. I'm really hoping this is what we get.

My second choice would be something like what was used in Nuevo Mundo, where the victim's wrists are bound to the rim of a drum and she is lifted off the floor and either suspended against the drum or stretched with her ankles bound to the floor. I'd post a pic, but I was informed that Elpidia Carrillo was slightly underage when that scene was shot.

As for hot irons - yes! But the reason I choose the feet is (a) the soles are very tender and (b) I don't like blood or disfigurement of the body. At least the feet are slightly out-of-sight.

I hope the crux scene (aka Passion Play) will be included in this movie.

Just for kicks, here's a similar wagon wheel design in use, this time by a mad killer in "The Torturer" (the 2005 Italian version). It's meant to resemble a film reel, to tie into the mad killer's background as a wanna-be movie producer. This version is a bit more horizontal so the change in gravity isn't as severe, but you can see that the designer has multiple restraints around her arms and legs to limit her shifting off-center. Ignore the blood and disfigurements. Those are the result of the killer weaving hooks into the ends of his flogger, so that he rips and tears skin with every strike. A bit much for my taste but I liked the scenes just before things got bloody.

With all the talk of the rack lately, I find it disappointing that no one wants to invest in the rack perk for Justine. Making an awesome rack scene takes a lot of money. If they don't get the funds, the rack scene will not be as grand as it could be. Even if you can't pay $500 for input on the torture, you can at least make a contribution and get a pre-order of the movie as well. I really hope Jac can make an awesome rack scene to grace the rack database in the future.

I myself am not a big rack fan but can appreciate it from time to time. I myself am buying at least 2 shares of the Cross torture. Jac has made me appreciate the Crux fetish a little more.

I'll only invest 500 in a rack if I can build it myself (I'll not charge for labour, the cost of a proper build is roughly in this range). I heard La Paz is the cheapest airport in the world, because the airplanes don't have to descend too much.

This illustration is almost certainly among the first I ever made. Early 00's I think, MutantX was on TV and Vicki Pratt was looking hot, Mason Eckhart was the arch-villain. Did anyone else enjoyed that TV show? Got bad after Karen Cliche joined the cast.

I never said that the rack scene won't be great. However, the more funds they have, the more elaborate the scene can be. Take the scenes Ralphus and D Santorum commissioned. Building the prop is not the only expense for the scene. Other expenses need to be accounted for to make the elaborate scenes they requested. The more money they have to work with, the more they can do to make the scene as awesome as it can be.

JD: Thanks for clarifying the situation regarding Charles and Vintage Comics. Indeed, he did not remove the cover page and credits from the zip file of the translated fumetto. I didn't realize this as I didn't download the file (why would I?). I still would prefer he use my intended cover on the update list, but it's his choice to make. Oddly enough, he posted another one of my translations today, and this time he did use the cover with the credits. In any case, I've left a comment at VC with my apologies for accusing him of removing the page. As you say, he never intended to claim the work as his own.

Regarding my overreaction, let's just say I am exceptionally sensitive to plagiarism due to personal past experience.

BTW… an overdue thank-you for your continued posting of such fine video clips. Some I have seen, and some are not for me, but there have been quite a few delightful surprises as well. Furthermore, the quality of your material usually exceeds that of similar clips at CutScenes, DFN, DarkPeeps and other repositories. Great work!

As for Ralphus the roofer, I'd prefer to think those nasty Arkansasians (Arkansites? Arkansasers?) are not referring to our fearless moderator with those mean-spirited jibes. Sure, he might be a “sweaty fursack” or a “land pirate” (whatever the hell that is), but he's certainly not a “scumbug” or a “fucking dumbass”, no matter what the urban dictionary says. In fact, it might be wise to keep all those negative definitions to ourselves, just in case the site goes down, or water starts dripping from the ceiling.

I was reading through the archives and saw that you may have been involved in a PKF movie starring Paris Kennedy (Deadly Interrogation 1). She is in my top tier list for favorite porn actress, GIMP or No GIMP. The only GIMP I've seen her in is with Kink.com. I'm not really into their videos. Do you know if PKF ever did more videos with Paris or if she has appeared in any other GIMP films you have seen? I plan on watching SI1 as sson as I can get NicheClips set up.

Yes, the spinning wheel has so many possibilities. In various fictions, some of these possibilities have been explored.

The tied-to-the-rim style has roots in ancient Roman history. It has shown up in various films and comic books over the years.

One of the most elaborate ones of this style was in Robert Altman's "Sodom and Gomorrah" (1961). The victims are male (mostly), but the device would be easily adaptable to the Damsel as well.

Another elaborate use of this one--again, with a male victim, but again, easily adaptable to the Damsel--is in Chapter Twelve, "Ceremonial Execution" of the 1943 Republic serial "Secret Service in Darkest Africa". This one combines the wheel (with victim tied to the rim) with a giant-sized, serrated Poe's Pendulum

With the "wagon wheel" motif, there are lots of possibilities. One that seems popular with some artists at deviantart.com is to use her as a target for thrown knives, axes, arrows or darts.

Another idea that sometimes shows up is to spin the wheel so fast that the centrifugal force threatens to tear the arms and legs off the person tied to the wheel. This seems unlikely, as the only way to power the wheel to go that fast is to drain the power from eleven Western states.

There is a side-effect that has not been brought up heretofore. If your damsel (or dude) is spun around fast enough, isn't (s)he likely to "hurl"? This could make an unwholesome mess in your felterkammer.

I am, actually. I really like the hot iron idea. Spinning, whipping, then hot irons sounds like a very logical progression. So that's three. What would be a good fourth torture? Cold water when she passes out? And then... what?

I almost forgot another cult favorite wheel scene: "The Perils of Gwendolyn" had a good one. Again we see the five-point restraint system, plus handholds. I secretly wonder if the girl enjoyed being spun, much like how children spin themselves on merry-go-rounds in order to get a rush. I can imagine the other stunt extras lining up and shouting "Me next! Me! Me!"

Paris Kennedy had a long history with PKF until she quit shooting peril fetish videos several years ago. If you search the PKF archives, you'll find 16 videos which feature her. Before then, when John Marshall and Hank Samuels were partners in Club Dead and RueMorgue, she often worked for them as well. Some of these early works, which John has the rights to, are now being remastered and released under the RueMorgue label at Niche.

Paris also worked for other GIMP producers based in the Northwest US (not to be confused with Northwest Arkansas), including Todd Tjersland (Astaroth Entertainment) and Allen Wright (Casualties of Horror) to whom she was married for a while. I have purchased custom videos featuring Paris from PKF, COH and Astaroth. The latter two have gone tits up, but COH and PKF videos are still available at NicheClips under a variety of storefronts.

If you like Paris and heavy interrogation scenes, Deadly Interrogation 1 is worth seeking out. At one point, John told me this clip was his best selling video featuring a single victim, but that was a few years ago. It had sold over 600 copies at the time. My COH commission (The Serum) is also a success IMHO, and is still being sold at Niche. My Astaroth custom (Eliminator 2) is, like its producer, long gone, and that's a good thing. I still have it of course, but trust me, you don't want to see it, even if you are a Paris fan.

Aside from these commissions, I have at least two dozen GIMP videos featuring Paris. Five years ago, maybe more now, Paris stopped doing hard peril stuff, especially material featuring torture and death. Instead, she focused on femme-fight and superheroine scenes, which I think have always been her first love. Last I heard, she had started her own production company with Alex Bettinger in LA where they are releasing high-quality pro-wrestling style videos with nudity and soft porn content. Good stuff, if you like that sort of thing.
