Bill K: Apparently The Millennium Bug has been out a few years. There's even a somewhat blurry copy of the entire movie on YouTube. In looking over their official website, it looks as though the filmmakers used IndieGogo to help fund their project, the same way the gang at Pachamama is doing now on Justine. The big difference? I really love seeing a GIMP having to stand on her toes as a result of having her have to stand like that to prevent from strangling.
It adds a bit of peril to the situation instead of just having it be uncomfortable. Plus if she has to stay like that for a long time the fatigue factor comes into play (picturing a nice, sweaty body at that point). Kinda like that scene from "Paradise Road"(fatigue wise).

This Saturday at 10, Lifetime is showing Stolen From the Suburbs, a movie where a mother must race to rescue her daughter from human traffickers.

This movie has its strengths and weaknesses but some are sure to like it.

dmon: Great video find, thanks. It just amazes me the high level of realism they can do today with computer animation. I mean, no one will mistake it for real live action, but it's close enough that I would have no problem imagining these as real people...and real objects of my fantasies. Breaking news - we reached 62% and we have less than 40 hrs left in the campaign!!!!!

The ride we embarked more than a month ago is reaching its inevitable end, but as one ride ends, another begins. We'll have less than 40 hours left in the campaign by the time I post this. We raised over 12,300 dollars, almost 11,000 of which will come to us as cash for JUSTINE. With the funds that we already raised, the ultimate adaption of De Sade's famous novella promises to be awesome indeed! We'd like to push it a bit more, to make sure that we DO get 11,000 or more for the film. So, how about it? We've seen an increase number of people from Europe stepping to the plate, we also began to see people from the Crux Foundation contributing. This is very good.

Can we push the envelope?

Jac has begun talks with the cast, to make sure that everyone is ok with what's going to happen. He hired the person who is going to build The Wheel and this afternoon he's giving him an advance so he can proceed to build it! This week two of the principal locations will be secured and so the pre-production of JUSTINE enters its biggest face. I expect that my next post will be after the campaign is over. I will have more news then. In the meantime... Let's do this!

I must amend my earlier opinion of no bugs ever. There is ONE situation where the limited and judicious use of a particular insect can be forgiven, even desired: Using wasps to torture a gimp's nipples and clit. That particular application combines the horror of feeling the six tiny legs scrabbling away just before the sting, the immediate stabbing pain, and then the resulting sensitivity of flesh throbbing and swollen from the venom. The obvious advantage is that said insects can be easily removed after they do their thing and so leave the wench available for the torturer's side perk of raping her without having to brush the critters away first.

I've added an instance of that here from Silvio Dante, although I wouldn't bother with the glass vials--just present the wasp to the nipple with some tweezers. I included that particular torture in my story Annetje, which I've been sitting on as it is WAY more over the top than Dawn in terms of reality, however difficult that may seem to those who read it.

Like most of the people that frequent this forum, I don't like tattoos on a girl. Well, maybe a tiny, discreet one I could ignore but most of the monstrosities out there just tarnish a beautiful skin.

I used to feel the same about piercings until... I discovered that they offer some very interesting bondage possibilities!

For example, padlock her nose ring to a chain from the ceiling and keep her standing or her toes to avoid the pain in her septum. I'd like to recommend a story too. It's "The Mayor's Daughter" by Will Versuch. It is non-consensual and includes torture, heavy bondage, electro-torture, pony play and lots of other stuff that I can't precisely recall. No bugs or scat though, so it's safe to read! I liked the intro so much that I bought the e-book versions but later on Will uploaded the first and second books for free on his DeviantArt page. To be honest, I didn't like the third book (sorry Will) so I don't think you're missing much going with the free story.

Maybe you guys have already read this but, if not, I really recommend it. Plus, his other stories are great too (not all of them non-consensual). Will, if you're reading this, come on out and write some more, OK? (he's been inactive for quite some time).

I experienced Bug Week for my first time here on the GIMP Forum. Bug Week was not that bad. Today's pic was squeamish, but I have seen worse. I have seen all 4 Deadly Interrogation movies done by Fritz and the stuff done in those movies were far worse than today's daily pic. Maybe we should devote a week to Fritz's DI series for the daily pic. Wonder what response we'll have compared to Bug Week. My guess is that most who oppose Bug Week are GIMP Lightweights. Car Trouble (RueMorgue Cinema, 2004) is an early GIMP movie in the career of Paris Kennedy. This was a time before she got the breast implants. The movie is directed by John Marshall before he formed PKF Studios.

As the movie opens, Paris is stuck in the middle of red neck territory and her car breaks down. As she inspects her car, a crazed man sees her and chases her in the woods. Eventually, the man catches Paris and knocks her unconscious by banging her head against a tree. Paris plays the part of the scared victim really well. Her facial expressions are well done and really conveys her emotions.


While unconscious, the man takes the time to fondle her body before removing her clothes one by one. He then plays with her body some more. This scene does nothing for me as I am not into sex with unconscious bodies. Fortunately, it is a short scene. While unconscious, the man starts by tying a rope around her neck. He then takes another shorter rope and ties her hands together in front of her. . He then brings her back into consciousness. The bondage here is sloppy, but JohnM admits that he is not an expert when it comes to bondage. Later on when forming PKF Studios, he stared to learn more about bondage to improve on it in future films.


When Paris realizes the situation she is in, she begins to fear for her life. He then forces her to stand up and walk to a special place he has in store for her. The man leads Paris from behind her using the rope around her neck as a leash. As they walk, Paris does everything she can to beg for mercy, but her cries go unanswered. She even tries to offer him a blow job, but that is shot down as well. Most GIMPers here would probably gag her at this point, but I am glad that she isn’t gagged. Paris really knows how to emote through her acting and her lovely cries.


Our male captor takes Paris to a spot where two trees have a long piece of lumber across the top. There is also a bunch of rope hanging from the trees. The man grabs Paris and begins to tie her in a vertical spread eagle position between the two trees. The bondage is not perfect during the tying scenes as she could easily escape. JohnM’s lack of bondage knowledge is shown here as well. As she is being bound, Paris begs and pleads for her life and freedom. Her cries still go unanswered. Her acting is superb here as well. After she is bound between the trees, he starts to have some fun with her by fondling her lovely nude body. We get to hear more pleading and begging from Paris.


After he has his fun, our captor tells Paris that it is time for her to die. Paris’ pleads get more frantic as she begs for mercy. As he shows the noose to Paris and she panics even more. He sets up the noose before placing it and tightening it around her neck. He then unties her arms so that he can retie her arms behind her. He begins to slowly strangle her by pulling the noose around her neck tightly. This lasts for a few minutes. The effect used is not perfect, but gets the job done. She eventually dies from strangulation.


For the last 13 or so minutes, we see Paris’ body get taken to where her body will be buried. For the purposes of this review, I will not cover it as it is not GIMP worthy. I do have to give JohnM credit. He really gives us some nice body views of Paris’ dead body.



Summary: Paris’ car breaks down in redneck territory. She gets chased by one of those rednecks which leads to her getting tied spread eagled between two trees. After he has his fun, he strangles her to death.

Pros:
Great acting. Paris plays the role of the victim very well. Her pleads and screams are music to my ears. Her captor also plays a great villain while playing the role of a redneck. He knows how to sound like he is having fun with Paris while also knowing when to sound mean to scare poor Paris. They both act well off each other as a victim/villain pair.

Cons:
Bondage is sloppy and not as well done as it could have been. JohnM has mentioned in the forum archives that he was a bondage newbie in his early days as a film maker. He has however got some training and his bondage is better in his later films.

Overall, I would give this film a B-. I am a huge fan of Paris Kennedy, especially in her younger days. In this early movie of hers, she had her natural breasts, but had a small tattoo right above her ass. The acting of the victim and villain is great. The poor bondage however lowers the grade into the B range. I recommend the movie if you are a fan of Paris Kennedy.

When ppl wonder why I have this fixation is because, from all media gallery, her character was a archetype of defiance. I loved that ever since. Other actresses were prettier, other were better built, none were more defiant.

Not exactly a bug peril, but for all you D&D nerds out there, this may be the most gruesome way to die. (Note: Not only is it eating her brains, it's savoring all those little emotions and broadcasting them to the audience.)

JD: if you read the novel Death Star, you find that Tarkin was the kind of Imperial leader who got personally involved in those matters. Not only was his mistress the only female Admiral in the Imperial Navy (he had arranged her promotion on merit), but he had gotten his hands dirty-and bloody-over the years in dealing with those opposed to the Empire.

Call me an old fashioned traditionalist if you like, but I for one am not unhappy to see the bug thing ending. Like Clint Eastwood's mule in Fistful of Dollars...I just don't get it. Bugs? Creepy crawlies like that just give me the shivers. Give me a disgruntled slaver with a whip any old time. But then, that's just me!

Isn't that the point? A lot of people are creeped out by bugs, so what could be better than to use them as an object of torture on some tied-down woman? If you're a chick and some psycho has tied you up, you're already vulnerable, you're already helpless, you're likely already scared shitless, too. So to have him unleash a hairy spider and throw it on your naked body, or smear honey over your breasts and pussy for a swarm of hungry red ants to attack you, that's gotta increase the fear even more. I totally get it. It's certainly got that "ick" factor, so it's not for everyone, but it's an effective form of torment, to be sure.

Burn at the stake week? I have to use great restraint not to have Burn at the stake DAY every night when I update the daily picture. That must have been another clip you cribbed from a nude scenes website (like Love Object). Gisele Lindley isn't even the victim, she's the topless chick in this movie, and I noticed the clip was edited to showcase her lovely breasts. However, if you're watching for the actual GIMP moments of the chick tied to the gurney, they are nearly obliterated in this particular edit. The Electro-Shock Database has the scene in it entirety, although not from the pristine print that you uploaded. I had no idea this film had been colorized; in fact, it doesn't even come out on DVD in the colorized version until October, so I'm not sure where these prints came from. At any rate, I'll definitely be picking this one up when it comes out officially, because I love this movie. That's no acid. Anyone who paid a modicum of attention to the chemistry classes would tell that no acid does that. That's liquid nitrogen. Fierce looking but relatively harmless. You're surrounded by 80% of it, anyway.

With liquid nitrogen it's remotely possible to get frost bite burns if the skin contacts the liquid itself for long period of time unlike dry ice which a couple seconds of skin touching causes burns.

The vapor is harmless and I'm sure Ralphus knew that prop vapor wasn't real acid, JD. Acid doesn't produce vapor unless it's melting something or a GIMP.

Ralphus, you say there are not enough Bats fan Gimpers here to have an annual Bats week but there are enough to have a Bugs week?

Well, aren't you Mr. Science. Re 8817) JD, Gabrielle Forest - Brigade des moeurs (1985), it's not LN2. I work with the stuff routinely, and its cold, dense vapor doesn't behave that way coming out of the container. Also, the guy is holding whatever it is in a brown glass bottle with his bare hand; not for very long if it's LN2! There is also a hassle factor getting it and keeping it around for any length of time.

Dry ice in water; well, maybe. Again, the persistent smoke makes that unlikely.

Concentrated sulfuric acid, the usual "throw acid on someone", would just sit there looking like water.

My guess; some special effects smoke generating pyro, like cardboard saturated with potassium nitrate solution and dried, or *maybe* a few drops of titanium tetrachloride, although the big bottle would make mixing with the the moisture in the air erratic. Not to mention that the GIMP would not like the hydrochloric acid fumes; real aversive reaction there. (Although that could be a bonus, helping her acting skills.)

While I can flick LN2 out of a cup with my fingers as a stunt, seconds of contact is something I'm not going to do, and you shouldn't either.

And yes, I'm a chemist.

Most excellent! While we might never know exactly how the scene was made, my hunch is they used a small chemical heating pack at the bottom of the mug (doesn't take a lot of heat to induce that vigorous vaping in LN). Initially I thought they used a classic smoke machine scheme (glycol and water heated) but the scene where the bad guy throws some 'acid' on the floor was most revealing since it has the exact pattern of evaporation of LN when spilled (tendrils and blobs jumping on surface). As for cooling effect, a mere 3/4" insulator (easily concealable in that flask) should give you ample time to finish the scene. Riskwise, an accidental spill of a drop or so on the main actress' cleavage, while unpleasant, is by no means a skin destroyer.

While I'm not exactly a chemist, some of our older SEM are still using LN. Plenty of practice with the stuff.

Another great Star Wars post JD. I think the Leia fantasy may stem from the scene where she's in the prison cell & the torture droid floats into her cell, followed by the slamming of the cell door. I came away from the cinema thinking of that scene & wondering what had occurred!! And as you correctly say, it's the air of defiance from the character that sends your imagination running riot!! Love the harsh cell setting & surrounding imperial guards!!

As I recall, it was one drawing in particular that led to my comments. If I'm remembering this correctly (and we know how shaky my memory is), I think it was part of a series of insect-related GIMP pictures, although I don't think it was a formal "week" at the time. I believe Fritz is right that the official Bug Week designation followed the controversy.

I've tried to write sequels a couple of times but it's never worked for me - once I've thoroughly raped and tortured a gorgeous woman in my stories I like to move on to a new victim. I think anyone who's read my stories will know that my head is a nasty universe where poor women are often subjected to terrible interrogations.

Looking for freezing scenes. Beauties foced to undress on snow or locked in a freezer or left naked in the cold etc.

Ed wins; titanium tetrachloride. Brown glass bottle, not frosted up. You can see it's nearly full of liquid sloshing around, fuming madly with a white frosting of titanium dioxide where it spills.

They nearly emptied the bottle for the dump onto the floor. I'm not sure it's even the same bottle.

TiCl4 produces skin burns, so Gabrielle was really in danger, considering how the loony/actor was waving a nearly full bottle around. Not to mention breathing hydrochloric acid fumes; she didn't have to act at all.

I don't think the director was big on safety. If someone did that around me, immediate termination would be the least of his problems.

Amy Hesketh/Reine Margot

I'm lurker10, one of the "perks" for the rack scene. (Pledge ID: 12874034) Could I please have a synopsis or script for "Justine". I would also like pictures of Ms. Hesketh's rack; I have seen pictures of entirely too many that look non-functional, either for strength, or particularly, mechanical advantage. Humans are stuck together rather well, and tearing them apart requires thousands of pounds of force. You can pass confidential material to me through Ralphus.

I have skimmed the de Sade book; it has neither wheel nor rack, and the only cross might as well be a wall. And "dungeon" in the book has a rather more expansive definition than its current usage; basically, any large room with a lock on the outside. I'm not surprised; books seldom survive the attentions of a script writer. So all the questions apply; who, where, what, when, why, and how?

Anyway, most of Justine's punishments in the book are beatings, whippings and the like, plus rape in most of its forms. The only unusual things I picked out are where she gets a slug of "near-boiling" water in her vagina (she faints, and apparently suffers no damage, which I do not believe at all.), with the villain following with a threat to stuff her with thorned twigs soaked in pepper and vinegar. And elsewhere, a flogging with a whip soaked in vinegar. So the punishments in your production with the wheel, rack, and cross are very far afield from the book, and more imaginative tortures are in order.

I rather relate to M. Rodin. I'm somewhat in the biomedical business, and he resembles the great Scots anatomist and experimental surgeon John Hunter, who is exactly contemporary with de Sade. De Sade would certainly have heard of Hunter's work. Hunter was also, from time to time, a bit short on scruples.


My list of possibilities for things to do:

Thorned twigs soaked in a pepper-vinegar mix and stuffed in the woman's vagina

Cervical dilation. This feels like childbirth, but it can be repeated immediately. There are surgical instruments for this very purpose and well within 18th century medicine


You can probably get them locally from a medical museum, an ob-gyn, or a veterinary supplier.

I'm pretty sure they had concentrated sulfuric acid at the end of the 18th century. Application of drops with a glass rod will result in very painful burns.

Melted wax. Not the candle stuff, but sealing wax. Bank of England sealing wax has a melting point above that of boiling water.

Burning sulfur; this was a medieval torture. Its melting point is about like sealing wax. Its flame temperature is fairly low, but it's still a flame

Grains of black powder. Also has the visual effects.

Slow match stuck to the skin, which is just hemp or flax cord soaked in potassium nitrate and dried.

Boiling water in drops.

Spoons heated in boiling water

Dental pliers for pinching the skin. Source from any dentist, dental supplier, or vet's supplier (NOTE: surgical instruments are cheaper at a veterinary supplier. La Paz is also big enough for at least one used medical equipment supplier.)

Abrasion of the skin with sharkskin, or whipping with thorned branches, followed by mopping with vinegar. A whole-body application is probably not a good idea, as death by shock is not a desired outcome.

Smothering with a wet rag. This is like waterboarding, which would actually be better except for the anachronistic issue. (I don't really believe that it was not invented until the late 20th century, but that's the common perception, that it's new.)

Things involving unhappy rats.

Scratching the periosteum of bones with a needle. The periosteum is where the nerves are that announce when you've bruised or broken a bone. A shoemaker's awl looks about perfect for this. Available anyplace with leatherworking supplies. With a hole in the tip, it can also be used for running thread through things.


Tickling (NO! NO!!!! MUCH too perverse.) However, there is a $market$ for tickle torture clips, which usually involve (gently) stretching the victim out on a modern rack, and there you are, producing Justine, with everything at hand.

As preferences, I'm kind of partial to smothering, bone scratching, and cervical dilation; I think that these tortures will get some action no matter how tightly the victim is stretched, and are cheap to implement. They are also consistent with Rodin as an experimental surgeon; but I need to see the script or story, and the rack.

I am much more interested in a good product than having my name on the credits, so yes to the first and no to the second.

It had the look. Many years back, a group I was with decided to do a haunted house fundraiser in the church basement where we met. I swiped a bottle of the stuff from my HS and then poured some on the floor of a room we set up as a crypt--for "atmosphere." We got atmosphere alright, such a blinding throat-burning atmosphere that we had to clear the place and shut it down for the night.

I wasn't a chemist, but a dangerously adventurous Sophomore chemistry student and I have a good memory. Perhaps I'll tell you some time about the Great Nitrogen Triiodide Debacle of 1970. That caused a partial evacuation, too. I was such a scamp.-)

@smoke thing: don't know, I doubt they would expose expensive camera/lighting equipment to HCl vapours. Plus the moisture required in the atmosphere to produce that much smoke from a reduced evaporation surface as the bottle indicate. Also the risks to personal safety using a relatively known actress ... I'm skeptical.

In our dry climate, you get barely some whiff of smoke, far from what's in the movie. You have to constantly add water in liquid form to get that much fumigation. Who knows, maybe on the set in that day RH was closer to 90%, don't know.

- open the prop file in Photoshop
- in menu, go to SELECT, then COLOR RANGE
- set Fuzziness value at 40
- click on the color (green) you want to remove
- click OK
- in menu, go to SELECT, then INVERSE
- CTRL+C

At this point you can past (CTRL+V) the image in any other image you might like, as a separate layer. Let me know if further details are needed.

Joek0 (Post 8860) - Sorry, I am not really able to make any recommendations concerning "RoadKill Studios", as I've never really seen any. I have seen quite a few "Rue Morgue" clips however. And since they are run by the same person, I'm assuming the style of the films are similar, if not identical (Am I mistaken in this assumption?).

As far as the Rue Morgue clips I have seen, although not bad, nothing to really write home about (IMHO). The main problems I found in them were basically a couple. The first is that the victims were always WAY too passive. I mean, they are about to meet their end and it's like....oh ok. And the second (ties in w/the first reason), a lack of overall intensity.

But with the above being said, I really love outdoor stuff, and your review of "Car Trouble" looks interesting. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. May just need to give that one a looksee.

MICHAEL MAX: BOOKS: Besides the deSade books, there is the early Victorian stuff such as 'Autobiography of a Flea'. '9 1/2 Weeks' was originally a story in Playboy and way more intense than either movie.

Might try the "Mammoth Book of..."Series. Amazon doesn't seem to cover much of the erotic books in this series so try a bookseller or Alibris (the independent bookseller's exchange). Most of the more hardcore GIMP erotica will probably be in the 'erotica' section but before 2004 when it went all vanilla.

Sadly, overt GIMP literature is still fairly underground. If you like hardcore lesbian or gay GIMP then there's lots of material. Most GIMP literature now is online.

I'd find the best independent book seller who still has an erotica section and become friends, then hit them up for whatever is still out there.

Other than some of the writings that get posted here, I don't actually go looking for GIMP books.

I can think of books that have some GIMP in them but the book isn't intended to be erotica. Some examples might include:

-- The rape of a white woman by a West Indian radical in Guerrillas by V. S. Naipaul.

-- The electro-shock torture of a nun in Central America in A Flag for Sunrise by Robert Stone.

-- A woman who is forced by home invaders to strip and read her poetry in Saturday by Ian McEwan.

-- Various torture scenes in American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis.

-- And, of course, the rape of the author's wife in A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess.

It has been my experience that GIMP is where you find it.

Some of the folks over here have already shown some of the pulp covers of the 1930's and 1940's that feature ample GIMPage. There's probably more where that came from. This is true not only of the horror-terror genre of pulps represented a while back, but of the heroic pulps--especially those put out by Popular Publications (such as "The Spider" and "Operator #5").

The "neo-pulp" genre of 1960's through the 1980's, can also be a source of inventive GIMPage. Some of such series as "Nick Carter (Killmaster)' or "The Smuggler" will also have something of interest in the text for the discerning.

I'll go through some of my stuff, and mention some of these to Ralphus--then he can figure out how best to let others know of these scenes.

If anything, the literature you cite as examples of GIMPage suffers from being too high-falutin'.

It has been my observation that GIMP is where you find it. Genres of paperback fiction that you would not think to have such scenes will surprise you when they do show up.

Specifically, the "neo-pulp" genre of the 1960's through the 1980's will offer some examples of inventive GIMPage. Of course, in some instances, it will be the stalwart hero who finds himself in Merciless Peril ("Guys In Merciless Peril", anyone?)

But it happens often enough that the Peril is applied to the female of the species, that is might be worthy of note to others who like such scenes.
Sometimes, the girls are even (gasp!) naked! (For that time and place, that was exceptional!)

I think you will be hearing more from me on this subject.

In mainstream best sellers, try Irving Wallace's The Fan Club.



Then there's the various pulp paperbacks. I found a few westerns that sometimes have GIMPage theme in the Jon Sharpe series called "The Trailsman."

In the 1970's I found that The Man From U.N.C.L.E. books (from the 1960s) sometimes had GIMP scenes in them, sometimes quite adult. For example, the first novel "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." aka The Thousand Coffins Affair features scenes where Napoleon Solo's redheaded female companion is crucified naked along with Napoleon.



And of course, the 1970's was the heyday of adult paperbacks, many of which were written with GIMP or bondage themes. Reputedly, the authors were often prison inmates or in some cases, established authors who needed to keep money flowing in.

King of these adult publishers was Greenleaf, which printed under various names with all sorts of stories, including taboo sex involving GIMPage. You might be able to find some of the books or stories for download, as well as paperbacks on eBay or various collector stores.

I would like to add my vote for more discussion of bondage and torture scenes in mainstream books. When I was a kid, I always really appreciated a good GIMP scene in a book I was reading. The Conan books were pretty reliable, as I remember.

Regarding GIMP books:

I have heard good things about Torture Tomb by Dean Anderson (Who is a big fan of Pachamama Films). I am more of an ebook reader, but his books are not available in that format. I had read in the archives that it is a very good read and has a good amount of GIMP. Even though I am slowly reading through Eda Chang's stories (I converted them to ebook format), I think they are very good reads for GIMP heavyweights.

Film features AOH interrogation/torture, hung/suspended by wrists, whipping, tasing, multiple blows to the belly and crotch, orgasm torture, belly and armpit grab.

There were a few non-gimp series with gimp scenes I remember: Nick Carter-Killmaster has been mentioned (some 261 featuring him), Matt Helm (27), there was a very violent western series called Edge (61), and Mack Bolan-The Executioner (an astonishing 434 books). I read some of each in my misspent youth, but only a few in spurts.

The gimp/torture scenes were generally short and rarely more than one per book, so rarely worth reading the tripe to find them. Matt Helm makes periodic reference to an "I-Team" which uses torture for interrogations. The others usually have some innocent tortured for information or revenge. Some pretty bizarre; one Killmaster I remember had a villain press a sea lamprey against a girl's nipple, for example.

The most reliable for sadism scenes was always Conan.

GIMP themes in books: Great thread, and some really nice contributions so far that I'll need to check out. You know, when I first came online back in 1996, the main thing I wanted to find on the Internet for me wasn't pictures, it was stories...what I wanted was GIMP fiction. Because while a picture can be arousing, it's the printed word, the descriptions of bondage, pain and torture, coupled with my imagination that can be much more stimulating. You can bet there are some paperbacks on my bookshelf that gave me hours of rewarding reading. A few would be those true crime books, like "Perfect Victim", which details the story of Colleen Stan, (aka "the girl in the box") and "The Beauty Queen Killer", about serial killer Christopher Wilder.

But my two favorites are easily "Let's Go Play at the Adams'" by Mendal Johnson and "The Girl Next Door" by Jack Ketchum. Interestingly, both these books were loosely based on the true life Sylvia Lykens case, about a teenaged girl who was captured, tied up and ultimately tortured to death by schoolchildren back in the 1960s. The latter was made into an excellent, although badly sanitized feature film back in 2007, winning a couple of Ralphus Awards along the way. As is often the case, the book was much better, and the power of Ketchum's writing had that erotic intensity that the movie wasn't able to duplicate.

I found out about "Let's Go Play at the Adams'" from my girlfriend at the time. She told me about this book she read years earlier, about a babysitter who was tied up by these kids she was taking care of, and she couldn't get the story out of her mind. It even had a girl tied up right on the cover, that was how she discovered it in the first place. Well, naturally, I wanted to read it, too. Now this was way before I had access to the Internet, back when finding stuff was a lot harder than it is now. I did find a book finding service that searched for out-of-print books, and after a couple of weeks, they told me they had located a hard-cover edition of the book in Schenectady, New York for $23. Naturally, I snatched it up. Best 23 bucks I ever spent. It isn't hard to figure out this guy clearly had the bondage fetish. The first-person detailed accounts of how cute 20-year Barbara the babysitter was suffering after hours of being tied up had to have been researched pretty thoroughly. He does dedicate the book to his wife, if that's any clue.

At any rate, this is an entire book about bondage, chapter after chapter, and it's perfect, right down to the snuff ending, which will forever be...ahem...burned into my subconscious. Last year a reader posted a free online link for the entire story, which I'll reproduce here. Definitely worth a read.

And lastly, speaking of fine fiction, we haven't an update to the Men's Magazine Stories section for a while, but this newest addition is pretty special. It's the favorite MAM story of my friend Jim and he actually typed it out by hand for inclusion to the site. Along with another outstanding restoration job of the inside cover art by Fritz, we now present THE DAMNED NUDES OF SAIGON'S HOUSE OF HORRORS, this one is from 48 years ago. It's got a nice sense of atmosphere, so much so that you can almost smell the opium smoke that permeates the Vietnamese dungeon. And if that's not enough to hook you, there's also naked female prisoners being suspended, tortured and having their feet flogged with a bamboo cane. Pretty heady stuff for young male readers who bought this magazine in 1967. Enjoy.

As regards 'mainstream' books with Gimp scenes, the success of the James Bond series of the 1950's and 1960's inspired a number of spyguys who had an all-too- predictable number of erotic interludes in each novel, occasionally with some women in peril scenes. Someone already mentioned the "Nick Carter" and "Matt Helm" stories.

A couple of lesser-known but sexier Bond offspring were Clyde Allison's "The Man From Sadisto," {AKA Agent 0008} whose hero was not at all shy about inflicting pain on beautiful women provided they were foreign spies or of a masochistic bent. I'm sure I'd consider them rather tame now, after having written several thousand pages of floggings and other assorted torments, but for that day and time, they were very hot stuff, and written from a wryly sardonic point of view.

Another entertaining (at least in the first couple of books in the series) was The Man from ORGY, by Ted Mark. LOTS of sex - for a 1960's book that one could buy at a conventional bookstore that is - and usually there were one or two good gimp scenes.

A last author that I'd like to suggest is John Cleve (ne Andrew Offutt) , a very prolific author of so-so erotica and other fiction under various names.

But now and then he really got it right. My personal favorite was his "Crusader" series, set during the time of the Crusades. Lots of sex, lots of violence, and a fair amount of sexual violence, at least in the two or three that I read.

'Cleve' also wrote a great many 'Gor'-like science fiction novels set in Barbarian lands and barbaric times. Kind of Game of Thrones settings without all those annoying thrones.

A fairly extensive bibliography of his books follows. I was saddened to learn from his Wikipedia article (which I had not seen until stumbling across this thread) that he passed away in 2013. He was a good 'genre' writer and probably as much as anyone other than A de Granamour (ne Paul Hugo Little) influenced my own taste and style.

Don't know, there's so much GIMP content in the Norman's books of Gor that one can easily spend years going through all of them and not feeling the need for else (my case). Add a solid writing style, a mesmerizing philosophy and some sound logic build-up behind it and it's a done deal (to me).

A lot of my favourites have already been mentioned, but Jimmy by William Malmborg is excellent. And The Scavenger's Daughter by Mike McIntyre is has an occasional clunker but is fun.

With reference to GIMP in mainstream books, I have sought these out for years. I can recommend Virgin and Martyr by Greeley, which is about the torture and rape of nun in S. America. Another hard to find book, but filled with torture scenes is Omar Rivabella's Requiem for a Woman's Soul about torture in Argentina. It's a classic of sorts, pricey on Amazon - look it up on Google and decide. I had a copy years ago but got rid of it - I prefer video. Also, there are scenes in Mila 18and Exodus by Leon Uris that were quite explicit. There is a strip search that is well done in Hawaii by Michner, if I recall.

Mainstream authors tend to be better writers than pulp porn writers. If I had one to read I pick Rivabella.

While I build up the scene, trying to get the best possible match to the picture in my mind, I start to think about the story: what happens before that leads to this picture, and what could happen afterwards.

This is inspired by the scene itself, that often implies things that can be done, and so quite often I'm surprised by myself what happens then :).

Also, I'm going to endorse Ralphus' mention of "Let's Go Play At The Adams'" by M. Johnson as a must-read for any fan of GIMP bondage literature. Mr. Johnson's intent was to show a symbolic struggle between the past morality and the at-the-time (70's) morality, but what GIMP fans get is a great bondage novel with interesting characters and a fairly realistic setting. The climax is, well, climactic. Horror fans didn't like the ending and that's probably what kept it from becoming a best-seller. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Cindy and/or Bobby (and I kept imagining Cindy Brady and Bobby Brady) had stood up to the older kids at the last minute. Clubbing the older kids with a hot poker could've been a classic scene for the gore fans.

Third, I've seen daily rushes from Mood Pictures of their next film. It's an interrogation movie that features electrocution, foot torture, needles, and ass caning (and psychological torture as well). I'm not really an interrogation fan, but the horror factor in this one got to me. Without spoiling it for anyone, I'll just say that the girl is cute, great to watch as she's questioned and punished, and the film itself will leave you questioning your own sense of morality. The above picture is from early in the session, before the serious questioning has begun. The pacing isn't as slow as in "The Milgram Experiment" and it will definitely draw you in very quickly.

Submitted for your approval is "The Death Strain" (Award A703S, 1970) one of the multitude of "Nick Carter" paperbacks put out between 1962 and the 1980's. In it, Nick Carter, agent of AXE, also known as "Killmaster" is seeking clues to a biological agent that some evil folks are hoping to use for world blackmail. Nick finds himself on one of the Kurile islands, which lie between Japan and Kamchatka. He has traced his quarry to an old temple, only to be captured, along with a sweet young thing.

The villains are a group who purport to have been injured by radioactivity, chemical weapons, or the like. They are out to Make The World Pay, and are using a possibly-demented environmentalist to further their aims.

They intend to kill their prisoners, starting with the Sweet Young Thing. She is strapped, nude and supine, onto a stone alter. Above said slab is an arrangement of candles and metal strips/funnels. The candles are made of a special wax that stays blistering hot for a long time, even after it melts. The candles are so positioned that, as they burn and melt, the hot wax will drip into these metal strips. When each strip fills, it will tilt over, and pour its hot wax onto the girl's flesh. Over the course of the night, she will suffer tremendously from hot-wax burns, util her face is covered, bringing merciful suffocation as the end of the sacrifice to the spirit of Pain.

Of course, Nick does manage a rescue. But this comes after a couple of the metal strips have tipped, and poured hot wax onto her abdomen.

This scene occurs on pages 72 through 77 of the Award edition.

Perhaps those who can locate this book through Amazon or Ebay might be able to read it for themselves. Or, it might inspire those who are more talented than I at photo-manipulation or other forms of visual art to come up with their own illustration for this scene.

I don't think so -- at least, not legitimate sites.

If this is something you absolutely have to download, a Google search will turn up some options for downloading pirated versions.

My view: Given the relatively cheap price on the R18.com website, I would recommend renting it for streaming to determine if you really like it. The download options are a hassle and potentially more expensive. You probably should confirm this is something you have to own before you go down that path.

Kate Rodger - Last Stand (2000). From the same Czech place that gave us the BoundHeat serie. Gorgeous women and mild BDSM/lesbian stuff and phony action. I loved Kate since I spotted her getting her back whipped in Chained Heat III. Odd thing, in the nude scene it looks like before shooting, she's done a BDSM material that involved some of pd's milking machines cuz one can easily see some darker circle around her nipple. Here is a series of screenshots from the upcoming interrogation film from the Elite Pain original series. The basic premise is that a young woman is interrogated and for every lie she tells, she must be punished. The more she lies, the more she is punished. There are different punishments depending on the duress of the question, with the First Level being clothspins and the Second Level being bastinado, which is what you see in the screencaps above. I won't spoil the Third and Fourth Levels (yet) but they do get better (or worse, depending on which side of the interrogation you're on).

Anyway, the film should be released sometime this weekend, and when I see the finished product I'll post up a review. I'm not really an interrogation fan, nor am I particularly into bastinado, but I have enjoyed the rushes I've seen so far. There's a certain level of psychological horror to the piece that appeals to me.

Anyway, enjoy the vidcaps. I'll post up more later.

Another example of GIMPage in a "mainstream" paperback, and another in the Nick Carter series.

"Berlin" (Award A455X, 1969) is set in the then-divided Germany, and pits the Killmaster against an unreconstructed Nazi (is there any other kind?), and his Arab allies, all plotting against the existence of the State of Israel. (Where have we heard that again?) By the time the story gets to the part we're talking about, Nick has been visiting one Dreissig, who is the main Nazi villain of the piece, at his manor. A Sweet Young Thing has been captured, ad is to be put to the Question.

This takes place in a capacious torture chamber. The girl finds herself fastened to a torture wheel, while the girl, Lisa by name, was stripped naked, and fastened to the wheel, which had thick leather straps that went around each thigh, the abdomen, and each forearm. They were so situated so that with each turn of the wheel, they would be tightened. The chief torturer explains that some who have felt this wheel's taste had internal organs ruptured by the pressure and pain. (pages 115-119).

Nick effects a rescue, but both are recaptured, and prepared for a novel execution. They, along with another male prisoner, are brought out to the large open area of Dreissig's estate. Dreissig and his chief Arab ally each have a Golden Eagle on wrist, waiting to be released.
The male prisoner, who is quite naked, is ordered to start running towards a grove of trees, some five hundred yards distant. If he makes it, he gets his freedom.
One of the eagles is released, and goes after the running man. It does not take long or the eagle to make mincemeat out of the prisoner, before it is summoned back to wrist, and re-hooded.
The girl is then stripped, and ordered to make the same run. Obviously, she's going to turned into Eagle Chow.
Nick rushes forward, and removes the hoods from both eagles, which proceed to attack each other. Thus, they are saved from Death by Beak and Talon, but are recaptured. The story goes on from there, and the villains are eventually defeated.

The text does bring up that the henchmen of Herr Dreissig do get into the sadism of it all when they are turning the wheel to torture Lisa. And there is some talk of her firm breasts, although the subject is not dwelled upon. (This is a "mainstream" spy novel, mind you!) Nor is there much talk of any area "south" of the mammaries.

Another story, this one the first part of a commission piece I did a little while ago for Interrogationmaster and which he gave me permission to post online.

I will share the whole work in the story section soon.

Question to those of you who have seen a lot of Japanese bondage movies. How rare is it for a Western actress to appear in a Japanese bondage film? If yes, how good are they and how good is their acting and tolerance for pain? I heard that Western bondage actresses don't have as much tolerance to pain as their Japanese counterparts due to the more extreme content in Japan. Note that this is just a hunch and not based on fact. I also have not seen many Japanese GIMP films as well.

I ask this since I have a nice Japanese bondage film I am reviewing to come out soon that stars a actress from the US. I already hinted at who that lady is. It is not your usual Japanese GIMP film that is reviewed here. I wonder what kind of reaction I will get from the review. Look forward to it.

The Universal Language of Nasal Agony Part 1

The Universal Language of Nasal Agony Part 1 (Tanbikai, 2012) is Japanese bondage film starring Elise Graves and Eizoh Chiba. This movie was produced for an official US release by Digital Dark Studios, run by Elise Graves and Cyd Black who both formally worked for Intersec (Owners of Insex and Infernal Restraints).

Elise Graves is a fetish model who got started in the death fetish with companies like PKF, Dirty Deeds, Rue Morgue, and many others. She then mostly focused her career in the BDSM world with companies like Kink, Intersec, and many others. She even went to Japan to do a bondage movie which is the subject for this review. Cyd Black, Elise’s partner, has worked with Intersec for a long period of time. Eizoh Chiba is known in Japan for his videos that put girls in bondage and tortures them with implements that cause pain to her face, particularly her nose and mouth.

The movie starts with Eizoh tying Elise’s arms behind her and with ropes tied around her breasts as well. He spends a good deal of time at the start by doing what is known for in his Japanese Bondage films, torturing by contorting a poor girls face , particularly her nose and mouth. Great reactions from Elise as she suffers early on. She even cries from the pain.

At 18:30 – Eizoh finally brings out the nose hooks to torture poor Elise. The nose hooks don’t stay on very long and fall off her head. He reapplies them a few times on her nose. Each successive time, she begs not to have them applied to her nose. I love the cries and suffering Elise is conveying when she has her nose and face contorted by the nose hooks.



At 27:00 – Eizoh secures the nose hooks again in her nose and attaches the other end to some unseen rigging above her. More pain for Elise to suffer from the nose hooks.

At 29:30 – Eizoh get Elise to stand up. He sets up the usual nose hook raising it vertically and fastening behind her. He also grabs 2 more smaller nose hooks to attach to the side of her nostrils, one for each side. This increases her suffering more and adds to her humiliation. In this position, he gives her quite a spanking.


At 38:30 – Eizoh attaches a clothespin on her tongue with a long string attached at the other end. He first just pulls on the string tightly to stretch out her tongue. This of course causes her pain and you can see it on her face. He then secures the string by tying it on the ropes that bind her. We get to see her face in agony a little while longer.


At 41:15 – Eizoh removes the clothespin from her tongue. He tells Elise to bend her head down more to increase the pain from the nose hooks. She cries of anguish are nice to hear. He hunches her over a little more which also tightens the nose hooks. He then gives her a nice ass spanking.

At 43:30 – Eizoh lifts her top up to reveal her nice garter and panties. He then ties a rope around her waist to keep her top up. He spanks her a bit more. Eventually the rope that kept her top up is gone. He spanks her some more.


At 49:30 – The camera moves to focus on her ass. We see how red it is from all the spankings she has received. While in this view. We get to see him spank her some more. After all that, we get a nice long view of her red ass as he works more on the contorting her face. Even though we can’t see what he is doing to her face, we can tell it is painful by all sounds of agony coming from her suffering.


At 52:30 – We get a view of her front side again. We see that he reattached the clothespin on her tongue again and fastened it to the ropes in front of her. He then removes the clothespins from her tongue. He asks her if she likes it. She says no. She is then spanked some more.

At 56:30 – We see that Eizoh has fastened another rope around her waist to hold up her top. Her panties have also come off at this point. He then spanks her on her bare ass hard 10 times. Her screams of pain are lovely. At the end, we get a close up of her face to see the expression on her face of how much torture she has endured.




Summary: Elise is bound to experience Eizoh Chiba and his famous tortures dealing with her face. We get to see her humiliated and in pain from the torture he particularly inflicts on her nose and mouth.

Pros:
Elise is great in her acting here. But knowing at how painful Japanese bondage movies can be, I could tell that a lot of it was not acting and we really see her suffer in pain. The sounds she makes convey her pain and agony very well as she is being tortured and humiliated. Her cries were a nice touch to add to the GIMP factor. I commend her for trying out Japanese bondage. I doubt many Western bondage actors would attempt this.

Eizoh Chiba is great at putting Elise through a rigorous Japanese bondage session. I love the way he taunts Elise in English and Japanese when it came to torturing her.

Cons:
The idea of contorting and torturing a ladies face may not be for everyone as it is a unique fetish in Japanese bondage porn. I can see why some may not like this as we don’t get to see her face as she expresses her emotions in the film. I myself found this type of torture interesting and really does not turn me off.

There is no nudity in part 1 (runs about 60 minutes) until the very end. We get to see some better scenes of torture while she is bound naked in part 2. Part 1 is more of a warm up of things to come in part 2 which I also plan to review.

Not much variety as it focused on one particular type of torture.

Overall, I give this movie a B-. Elise plays a great victim and Eizoh knows how to put her through the paces of a Japanese bondage shoot. Even without the nudity, the movie serves as a good warmup to part 2. Part 1 still puts Elise though many painful tortures of her face. This gives us a good idea of what to expect in part 2. Also remember that this bondage movie focuses on the humiliation as much as it does on the torture of the poor girl.

Yet another mainstream paperback of the old days, with at least one noteworthy GIMP scene.

"The Smuggler: Fools of the Trade" (Pocket Books 77763, September, 1974) is credited to Paul Petersen, late of "The Donna Reed Show". This was part of a short-lived series of spy stories dealing with the adventures of Eric Saveman, a professional smuggler working for the inevitable Secret Government Agency, trotting about the globe shooting various trouble when and were found.

In this one, set on Great Inagua in the Bahamas, Saveman is out to rescue a British agent who is in the hands of the sadistic head of the island's Security Guard.

At one point early in the tale (pages 38 to 42, inclusive), the evil M'Bhutto Delacourt, chrome-domed baddie, has captured the British Agent and his assistant, a young (natch!) and comely (double-natch!) Cuban girl. She is taken to the grounds of the island's old Prison, were M'Bhutto has planned a painful end for her.

A three-foot wooden stake, sharpened at the tip, is set into the ground. She is brought out, naked (natch!), and, after being slapped a bit around the breasts, she is told tht she'd better talk or else. As she won't talk, she gets "else".
She is thereupon impaled in the rectum. She finds herself standing on tiptoes, with the stake three inches into her rectum.
She doesn't talk (natch!), and winds up getting fully impaled, while the British Agent looks on.
Once the sharpened point of the stake has emerged from the side of her neck, M'Bhutto then snaps the stake off just above ground level, and carries the stake and the girl impaled upon it to his private torture chamber, were he immediately divests himself of his clothing, rubs an already distended privy member, and proceeds to "wham the clam" with her dead corpse.

By 1974, standards for "mainstream" fiction were somewhat looser than they had been before. The descriptions are more graphic than they would have been just five years earlier. And themes such as necrophilia would not have been allowed, even five years earlier.

I don't think that this series got past four issues. "The Smuggler' could not compete with the graphic violence of "The Executioner", nor the loopy humor (and graphic violence) of "The Destroyer'.

Even so, there were some Standards. Even though the text brings up the blood that flows from her hind end as she suffers on the Stake, it does not bring up any other effusion that might emanate from the same orifice(s) under those conditions.
Perhaps M'bhutto had her "cleaned out" before putting her to an agonizing death--lest she make a mess!

Another scene from the upcoming interrogation film from Mood Pictures called "Lie Detector" in which a girl is strapped to a lie detector machine and put to the test. Only, this is no ordinary lie detector. This machine not only receives electrical impulses, it sends them as well. If the victim tells a lie, she receives a shock for her untruthfulness. For every shock she receives, she also earns herself a more severe punishment. This time, the victim is on her back, legs spread and tied, as the interrogator goes to work on her genitals. She confessed her sins under threat of electric shock, and now she must pay the consequences of her actions. Can her soul be redeemed through a journey of pain and suffering? This is the third of five trials she must undertake, the mid-way point of her path to righteousness.

Or something like that.

Anyway, this scene is the more intense of her punishments so far, with two more yet to come. Can she survive to the end? Or will she be left spent and broken on the Platform of Pain? Only our suffering victim knows for sure.

It is said that you can't go bankrupt betting on the capacity of Japanese to come up with crazy shit. Today's clip with Ayako Ohta in Sex Hunter (1980) is a good example. The torture involves shaking and discharging about a dozen of Coke bottles in the rectum of the tied naked beauty, force her to retain it and then suspend her over her belly. Epic.

I can't say the film does anything for me, as I'm not into nasal agony -- nose hooks and the like tend to make an attractive woman look like Miss Piggy. This is one of those Japanese fetishes I could live without.

You can see the pain writhing on her face.


At 4:00 – Elise has fear on her face as she sees Eizoh bring over the nose hooks. He secures the nose hooks and fastens them above her. We get to see more of her face in agony.

At 7:00 – Elise shows more fear on her face as Eizoh brings over a pair of clothespins in which he attaches to each of her nipples. There are string on the ends of each clothespin and he ties them together in the middle. He then pulls the string up tight so that her nipples are forced tightly upwards. He then forces her to keep the string inside her mouth. He then brings out and attaches the nose hooks that pull her nostrils tightly to each of her sides. She tears up a little in her agony.

At 10:30 – Elise releases the string in her mouth that was attached to her nipples. Eizoh then brings out another clothes pin with a string at the end to attach to her tongue. He then ties the string attached to the clothespins on her nipples to the clothespin attached to her tongue. This lovely peril is great as it brings pain to her tongue and her nipples. She tears up again from the pain and agony. The combination of the drool and sweat running down her chest along with the tears on her face is as sexy GIMP sight to behold. At 43:00 – Elise is lying on a blanket on the floor with her arms not tied behind her head. Her legs are raised up and tied in a spread out position. I wish her hands were better restrained with this scene. This leaves both her bottom holes for torture. She also has a set of nose hooks raised vertically over her head. He then brings out a vibrating dildo. This is the usual vibrator scene where Elise gets multiple orgasms from the vibrator. He even adds a smaller vibrator to tease her clit and ass. A consensual dildo scene that is not GIMP worthy.



My version of the movie ends here. In the original Japanese release version, there is a scene after this where Eizoh gives Elise an enema while in the same position as before. I have heard that in the scene, scat is involved with her enema. They could not include the scat scene because of credit card regulations. Too bad as it would have been an interesting scene to watch. This scene ends the Japanese version of the movie.

Summary: Elise is bound to experience Eizoh Chiba and his famous tortures dealing with her face. Like in part 1, we get to see her humiliated and in pain from the torture he particularly inflicts on her nose and mouth. We also get to see a couple other types of humiliating torture inflicted on poor Elise.

Pros:
Elise is great in her acting here. But knowing at how painful Japanese bondage movies can be, I could tell that a lot of it was not acting and we really see her suffer in pain. The sounds she makes convey her pain and agony very well as she is being tortured. Her cries were a nice touch to add to the GIMP factor. I commend her for trying out Japanese bondage. I doubt many Western bondage actors would attempt this.
Eizoh Chiba is great at putting Elise through a rigorous Japanese bondage session. I love the way he taunts Elise in English and Japanese when it came to torturing her.

Cons:
The idea of contorting and torturing a ladies face may not be for everyone as it is a unique fetish in Japanese bondage porn. I can see why some may not like this as we don’t get to see her face as she expresses her emotions in a film. I myself found this type of torture interesting and really does not turn me off. In part 2 however, Elise is put through a couple more types of humiliating tortures which add to the variety missing in part 1.

Overall, I give this movie a B. Elise plays a great victim and Eizoh knows how to put her through the paces of a Japanese bondage shoot. A couple of the humiliating tortures Elise is put through did not incorporate bondage. They were still great scenes, but would have been better with some bondage involved. The dildo scene at the end can be skipped if you are not into that kind of scene. Part 2 has more of the good stuff that people here may enjoy if they can get over the issue with nose hooks. Think of part 1 as the foreplay leading up to part 2. Both parts of the movie are pretty good overall. I recommend it for fans of Elise Graves as a sub or if you like the nose hook fetish.

I hope people found my review of this Japanese movie with a unique fetish an interesting read. The fetish was interesting enough to check out the film, but it was a big bonus to have it star the Western actress Elise Graves in the starring role.

Censorship in bondage movies: I find the censorship laws regarding adult content an interesting topic around the world. Each country has some weird reason for certain content to be censored in adult films. The Japanese film I just reviewed is a good example of this since it has 2 official releases, one for Japan and one for the US. The US version does not pixel out the genitalia, but won't include extreme content. The extreme content in the case of this film regards to showing scat from an enema scene. The Japanese version will show the extreme scat content, but will not show genitalia on screen. What is the deal with that? I don't get why censorship laws are so different worldwide. Can anyone tell me why the Japanese have to pixel out the genitalia on screen? I find it odd since they show things onscreen that is more extreme.
