Always good to see another edition of Margot's Chronicles and particularly nice for the end of the year. Very well composed with a most appealing set of accompanying images to whet our appetite.

Kathryne's first posted image of 2015 reminded me a bit of the famous laser scene in the old James Bond film, Goldfinger--or at least it would if Bond was a woman with super-size breasts.

I also heartily approve erodite's award of Amy Hesketh as Most Desirable Femme to be Flagellated.

As to the current poll, I already voted for B because that cruel sadistic side of me so enjoys seeing the girl suffering incredibly as she is viciously whipped.

Here's a piece of a story I found called 'Punishment Most Severe' by Williej that makes my point for me. If people like it, I will send the entire story to Ralphus to post in full in the stories section.

There were a few moments of silence save the sobbing of the young woman. The tension and apprehension grew to a peak. The hooded man to Marie's right, his strap in his right hand, drew back his arm first. She screamed even before the leather smacked hard into the middle of her right breast, immediately across the nipple. The flesh distorted for a few moments, flattened by the blow before bouncing back to its original roundness. Marie shrieked, as pain enveloped her full, right breast and she was snapped out of her dream-like state of disbelief. The audience had not experienced this before. The hard flesh of the male bodies they had seen whipped before offered nothing like this. The man to her left, his strap in his left hand then struck his implement into the same place on Marie's left breast with a similar result. Her initial scream continued as the incredible pain shot through her nipples, her breasts and through her whole upper body. She had never imagined such pain.

The audience stared, transfixed, at the barbarity before them. Some men groped themselves as they became aroused. A young woman officer tried to hide her grimaces (sympathy was not in order) as she imagined the pain of the girl.

The executioners continued with their task. The straps lashed into every part of the full, heavy breasts, with the exception of their undersides. Despite her stretched position, so large were they that gravity still ensured that a significant proportion of the flesh lay hidden against her rib cage. Some wondered if she had been specially selected for the size of her bosom and if she might not, in fact, be entirely innocent. It was not for them to question.

She screamed loudly as each new lash fell. Twenty five strokes had been given so far. Her tits were bright red and swollen to an even greater size but the skin, remarkably, was not yet broken. Her nipples especially, were on fire. These had received special attention because of the sensitivity.

The lashes continued. At thirty five to each the officer ordered them to stop.

Marie sagged in her ropes as she realized the lashing had ceased. Her chest heaved as she took in great gasps of air. Sweat soaked her upper body. Was it over? she thought. They had taught her lesson, scared her to death and now they were going to stop. Please God, she prayed, let them stop.

Her hopes were soon to be dashed.

"I want all of her breasts lashed", said the officer. "They will need to be lifted to expose the undersides."

Any of the spectators who had any doubts about the commitment of the officer who decreed the form of the execution must now surely have no doubt that he intended to do exactly as he had promised. They watched fascinated as the men fetched sturdy alligator clips from the equipment racks, then clamp one firmly onto each tortured nipple. Effectively, because of the size of the clamps and in order to have maximum grip and ensure they could not be torn loose, they were attached to the big aureoles which surrounded the nipples themselves. A new shriek erupted from the young victim's mouth. Attaching a thin cord to the end of the clip on her left nipple, the cord was put around her neck then threaded through the eye of the other clamp. The cord was pulled and her breasts were raised up, nipples pointing upwards, until there was no crease and the white untouched flesh of the undersides was revealed. The men collected their straps once more and took up their positions to continue.

"The last fifteen of this phase are to be laid upon flesh not yet harmed", came the command.

The flogging recommenced and the screams loudened as the straps struck virgin skin and the movement of her breasts caused the clamps to bite and pull on her poor nipples. Blood began to ooze from where the teeth of the clamps bit and trickled slowly downwards. The trickles were splattered across her skin at the point where they reached the target areas of the straps which continued to descend ruthlessly upon their targets.

The fifty lashes ordered were completed and Marie slumped in her bonds, head hanging forward, gasping for breath and moaning from the pain.

Not bad, eh?

Bill K: The photo you posted comes from Inquisition Live; specifically it was from a photo set called Cecilia. To my knowledge there was never a video of this, and there was no BATS finale. It is, however, an excellent series of rack torture pictures; I've posted examples from it at the top of the site over the years.

Ironically, I almost ran a fake paperback cover that featured the girl from the Cecilia series as the daily picture tonight. At the last minute I chose the one tonight. But I'll go back to it tomorrow.

Tonight marks the beginning of a series of paperback covers by a regular reader and occasional poster who goes by the name The Monk. He's a good buddy of mine and we communicate via e-mail a lot. He's got a twisted imagination and these covers are way too good to keep to myself. I only wish the stories he teases us with on the covers were real. I think you guys will like them.

So I began the new year watching The Masked Seductive Heroine (ZDAD-39) with beautiful Yui Aikawa.

It's pretty good. As MAV mentioned, the GIMP highlights feature Yui bound AOH and taking a beating, with punches and blows to her front and back and even to her lovely face.

The two drawbacks are that Yui is never stripped naked and that there isn't more variety in the GIMPage.

It costs less than $5 (U.S.) for a seven-day rental, which makes it worth checking out.

Yes, it's a safe bet that I won't notice a file named "screamingvirgins.jpg" is an uncropped version of a cropped file named "Man's Book June 1965 V4 #3 Emtee Pubs". But you, Ralphus, are a better, and even more relentless, man!

A few first of the year notes. First FU 2014, probably personally my worst year ever.

Second, while I agree with many of the nominations for "Best of 14", I have to point out a glaring omission. IMHO, there was no better true mainstream submission than I Spit On Your Grave 2 with Jemma Dallender. While it was released to theaters in 13, it was not really available (DVD) until early in 14. I would argue it was one of the better mainstream GIMP movies ever.

In included two rapes, nudity, electro torture, and a beat down of a restrained and very beautiful victim who sold it. The GIMP portion of the movie was not just a "scene", it was a good 20-30 minutes of the movie. Like I was telling Ralphus, this was GIMP movie, not just a movie with a few GIMP scenes. And with Jemma also doing GIMP in "Community" and "Taken" (a Lifetime flick) I'd have to nominate her for best mainstream GIMP actress.

I certainly agree with Miki Sunahora's nomination as best JAV female actress, and her electro torture scene in HBAD-216 was one of the best Jav electro scenes I've seen.

One other note the series 100 is going to have an AOH scene with the very lovely Lindsay Morgan when they resume in Jan. Here's the preview (it's at the end).

Miki Sunohara had some other releases in 2014 that didn't get reviewed but were worth noting.

In particular, GIMPers might be interested in Drug Investigator - Yakuzuke Vaginal Convulsions (IESP-596), which has some good forced-vibrator scenes, a nicely done rape scene, and a scene where she is violated with a bottle.

Elkcreek: You're like me when it comes to remembering years and dates. After a while, things tend to blur in my mind. But for record, I Spit on Your Grave 2 was released on DVD in 2013, and was reviewed on the board in early September 2013.

It was also a big winner in the 2013 Ralphus Awards, winning 4 of them, which you can read at the link here if you scroll down to December 29. Specifically, it won for Best GIMP Film, Best Mainstream Performance, Best Rape Scene and Best Electro Torture Scene. So it got a lot of love from me, it was just a year earlier. I agree with you, clearly one of the all-time best GIMP movies ever.

As many of you are aware, there is another sequel in the works, and it's a sequel to the original film where Jennifer (played by Camille Keaton) is reprising her role. I initially was concerned that she would be the lead, since she's in her late 60s now and it didn't make any sense to be raping a woman old enough to be a grandmother. But I've researching the new film online and it turns out the lead role, currently uncast, is for Jennifer's daughter, who presumably (and hopefully) will go through some bad treatment herself. According to a website I checked out, they are looking for a female 18-33 and nudity is required. That's definitely a good thing.

And if you check out YouTube, there are a number of online audition tapes for the movie. Here's one of them. It gives a bit of a clue as to what's going to happen in the film.

I'm sorry that Ralphus' review of Maleficarum is not on the VermeerWorks website. We don't post most reviews on the Pachamama Films website, because the Pachamama website is more geared toward press syndication, and reviews for people to read in Bolivia, in Spanish. We did quote from Ralphus' review many times there, and in my blog. The VermeerWorks website is missing many reviews, from many sources, because I just don't have time to update very often. I manage/look after several pages, profiles, blogs, and websites, including this one, so on top of everything else I do, things fall behind. When I do get around to updating the VermeerWorks site, I'll be adding it, along with others. It's not from some hoity-toity-ness, really. Okay? And for the record, I've never tasted expensive caviar, so if anyone wants to treat me to some, please feel free!

There was a post a while back about the system we use for the downloads. We use the FluxPlayer App because it allows us to include all kinds of awesome extras, like various subtitle selections, Special Features like short films, behind the scenes clips, etc. The file is much smaller, but with great quality, and can be moved very easily to all of your mobile devices, and burned to DVD on a Windows PC. 99% of our fans really love it because of all that, and how easy it is to use, across platforms. A lot of people prefer to buy the download from us, rather than from Amazon, because with us, they get all of the cool extras.

2015 is going to be a really big year for me and everyone I work with. We have new faces joining us, in addition to your favorite actors. In 2014, we labored very long to make Olalla a really great film, with really great GIMP scenes. December 29th is the theatrical release date of Olalla here in theaters in Bolivia. The Scream Is Still the Same - part 2

(Note: Part 1 was posted on December 10th if you missed it)

We all realize that our love for stories of females filled with fear and pain is not something that is commonly acceptable in society at large--at least not the way it is usually portrayed here at the GIMP Forum. There are many folks out there who would be appalled at the likes of what is shown here who nonetheless enjoy somewhat similar, though milder concepts in mainstream films and TV offerings. These are men AND women that enjoy watching films and TV programs in the mystery, horror, sci-fi and fantasy genre, which may include scenes of females being tormented briefly and in relatively tamer fashion. It's all just varying degrees of kinkiness in my opinion, though not everyone will agree with my assessment.

It should also be noted that many of us here at the GIMP Forum are also often attracted to many of these same alternate stories with a dark tone in addition to the type that we know and love here. Hey, you can't limit your entertainment time to fantasies of naked females being raped and/or tortured all the time now can you?

Truly fascinating is the continuing interest in what the media often refers to as 'Torture Porn.' More contemporary films like Saw and Hostel did not start this trend although they and other films in the same vein certainly amped things up and likely led to this designation as some refer to it. I tend to think films such as the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, A Clockwork Orange and the original I Spit On Your Grave,, all out around 40 years ago, may have really gotten the proverbial ball rolling. Those that enjoy these type of films will likely have their own personal favorites and it would be great of you to share those with us.

Admittedly, much of the torture in these kind of films is of males as much as female--in some maybe even more (damn, what a pity that is and a waste of good film stock to boot). While our crowd does not usually care to see the guys on the receiving end of such torment, it is not exclusively so and the ladies always get theirs in these films, too. Then there are some films where the focus is definitely on the ladies. "Yeah, show me those!" I hear you saying.



Where some of these type of films merely try to top what has come before with greater violence and uber-gore, some actually take the route of better story-telling and some done with a certain degree of finesse in their approach to people in general and specifically to our taste here, girls in merciless peril. Perhaps you have some guilty pleasure that you would not mind watching again and again.

Of course it also has to be said that just because a film puts one or more females in perilous situations, some interpretation of BDSM or some scenes of torture doesn't automatically make it something you want to see--although maybe it does. There is a wide range of quality in cinema and just because a film contains elements that appeal to you doesn't mean the film as a whole is good or bad.



For example, I have not heard very much good to be said about a film called Captivity and heard mixed reviews of a French film called Martyrs. There was a film I saw years ago that I liked about a most unusual rape of a woman by other women called Jaded. Many people, including myself, liked the unusual BDSM themed film Secretary. A couple of popular films with some GIMP moments were Kiss the Girls and Sin City.



When it comes to horror films, some have found Wolf Creek, Live Animals or Last House on the Left--the original or the remake to their liking (or perhaps been disgusted by). Then there is the remake of I Spit on Your Grave and the follow-up I Spit on Your Grave 2. There is also a minor trend in some of the these films to balance out the violence against women with a revenge element that is shown to be even more violent. Damn, that could take another whole post!

Of course most everyone knows and loves the classic Silence of the Lambs. Who could forget the well scene with Buffalo Bill? If you are like me, you would have had that scene go in a little different direction for the captive girl, not to mention longer. But then it would be a different movie wouldn't it?



Going in another direction is a somewhat recent British horror film I ran across in my searches called The Descent that definitely looks like it's got its moments. GIMP action? Maybe not depending on your definition but it does look like it sets the mood right.

So much of the fun in these is the incredible tension that runs through them and what kind of ride they take the viewer on. Some will certainly appeal to our crowd more than others.



Obviously, as is currently being discussed here, Amy Hesketh seems to be particularly on track merging the GIMP and horror audiences with her new film, Olalla. Is this the right blend of horror and GIMP to pick up that much needed larger group from both camps? Will this truly get out to a mainstream audience and how well will it be received? Is there a chance it will get into the film festival circuit where it would surely pick up some much needed buzz???

More power to Amy and company and kudos to all their efforts on this new film and all their productions past and future. It will be most interesting to see how things go for her and all the folks connected with Olalla. Best wishes!

On the horizon in 2015, a horror film with what may be a good dose of GIMP (or at least have a good appeal to many of us) called Save Yourself. Five women who worked on a horror movie find themselves in actual horror in this film now in post production. Anyone hear about this one?

Opening now around the country is a film called The Babadook. This is a new horror film that has had a lot of critical praise already. It's not really GIMP related, but there are supposed to be scares-a-plenty with a woman at the heart of things. Some say it will have you shaking in your boots. It actually sounds pretty good--and it got a 98 on Rotten Tomatoes to boot. This does look like one to check out!

Most interesting, according to things I have read at various sources on the net, is the great love of horror films among women. Oftentimes, depending upon the film, the female audience may be greater than the male. In many cases, these films definitely have at the very least a good amount of GIMPiness to them. What is your take on that? I would be most interested in getting some female perspective on this.

All said, this begs the question, What do YOU do for your GIMP fix when it comes to mainstream films? What movies are you drawn to?

As far as your question as to what we're drawn to in our GIMP movies, I think a better question might be how do we find out what's out there? I think most of us are looking for films where women are abducted, tied up, raped, tortured, and in some cases, even snuffed. Many of us have an itch that needs to be scratched, and if we want something other than actual bondage and fetish films, are there alternate sources for finding the stuff we're looking for? Since your post deals with mainstream films, let's make it about that and start a new poll question. The previous one has died down enough that we can move on at this time.

GIMP POLL:
Where do you look to find mainstream films that contain GIMP material? Is there a particular genre you are drawn to? And what formula or technique do you use to seek out what you're looking for?

When I was younger and first actively seeking out scenes (this was before the age of the Internet, back in the 1980s and 90s...yes, I'm old) I worked in video stores and had the advantage of checking out any movie I wanted for free. Over the years, I must have spent hours watching VHS tapes on fast-forward, searching for anything that might turn my crank. A lot of times I would come up empty, but every now and then you'd find some hidden gem that made the search worthwhile. Something like Quake, in which the attractive lead actress spends damn near the whole movie tied up, or Fatal Pulse, with that wonderful topless electro scene.

In my searches, the best sources for finding GIMP scenes were, naturally, horror films. And in some cases, suspense films or "erotic thrillers". I would look for video boxes that advertised on their covers that this was an "uncut, unrated version", which usually meant nudity and usually something stronger to go along with it.

Now that we've got the Internet, specifically this site or on Brian's Page, it's a lot easier now. You've got vidcaps, reviews, trailers, sometimes the entire movie available online. So a lot of times...most of the time, actually...I find out about GIMP stuff from my fellow pervs and sick fucks right here. That's part of the reason why this site is so helpful to me.

So how about the rest of you?

J Scourge: I believe one of the significant differences between 40 years ago and now was that exploitation as a genre was acceptable 40 years ago, and now it isn't. Or, at least, not explicitly.

Part of the marketing of the old exploitation films focused on titillation. The most obvious example might be the Ginger films, where women being raped were reluctantly turned on by their violations.

Imagine trying to put that concept in a film today.

Modern filmmakers have attempted some homages to the exploitation movies, but without a true commitment to smut. For example, the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez approach of creating exploitation-like films with no nudity. How does that work?

Torture porn seemed to be a way to cater to people who like exploitation, without actually acknowledging that was what they were doing.

But exploitation in its true form seems to be making something of a comeback, at least in terms of remakes. The remakes of The Last House on the Left and I Spit on Your Grave may have opened a door to new exploitation.

GIMP POLL: Where do you look to find mainstream films that contain GIMP material? Is there a particular genre you are drawn to? And what formula or technique do you use to seek out what you're looking for?

To tell you the truth, I really don't seek out mainstream movie and TV GIMP material. I enjoy a scene if it shows up in something I'm watching anyway, such as Black Widow in The Avengers movie. There have been two excellent bondage/torture scenes in Agents of SHIELD featuring Ming-Na Wen, and another excellent brainwashing scene, so Marvel seems to be looking out for our interests. I put my time into hunting for comic book and magazine scenes.

The GIMP site has pointed me to a few really nice TV scenes, notably the Live Another Day episode of 24 with Yvonne Strahovski. I avoid Brian's Page because those guys pissed me off years ago by stealing bandwidth from my web site when I barely had enough.

I have a hard time getting all worked up about what's not available in "mainstream" movies. Yes, you can look back to the days of sexploitation flicks (most of which were pretty lame), and lament that they are not available at the mall these days, but why?

Consider the milieu then and now. Unless you were willing to drop $90 for an HOM video or hang out in porn shops, where did you go to get your gimp fix even in the 90's?

Where was the ability to go on the internet in the privacy of your own home and search for whatever floats your boat? My recent review laid out a 2.5 hour flick of nothing but (generally) nude women being seriously tortured with electricity, and it cost less than the parking for a mainstream flick.

Mainstream is, as the name implies, down the middle of the fairway (which in the US these days means computer generated graphics, explosions, insane chases, automatic weapon gun battles--all focusing on our friendly secret police types fighting off terrorists i.e.: stuff that doesn't happen in real life).

How many Poor Cecily's were there as a percentage of flicks produced in the sexploitation heyday? Very small numbers. And unless you went to the drive-in or an "art" theater in a bad part of town, you couldn't see those few. And if you did, you got what--15 seconds? 30 seconds of not much. I doubt if more than 3-4 of the lamented sexploitation flicks I saw during those lost years did anything but frustrate the hell out of me!

Time to stop crying and worrying about whether it's all about political correctness. Find the site that purveys what you want and spend $25-35 for a month of digging through their archives. Track a few Tumblr blogs. Go to the GIMP daily, and what you get is stuff that is 100-proof compared to the near-beer of the exploitation shit we are missing so terribly.

"Martyrs" was a pretty good and powerful film but the torture inflicted was not sexy in the slightest bit. Pretty much the opposite of sexy, actually.

And really I think Martyrs nicely illustrates why I generally don't like mainstream films which do "GIMP scenes" (Hostel 2 perhaps being an exception, as the lady Bathory scene was quite well done I thought). Their focus is on the reality of some kind of torture, wheras my fantasies are a careful blend of "realism" and, well, fantasy...obviously a woman who goes through real torture won't look very pretty anymore and therefore any sexiness is ruined, in my opinion.

When I watch films I like to be entertained by a good story, competent acting and direction, all that good stuff, just like anyone else. When I watch GIMP films I cut a lot more slack because I know it's always a limited budget affair, but it's still a bummer how even a crappy actress in mainstream cinema could out-act 90 percent of the women who star in BDSM productions. Selling the role is actually a pretty big part of it for me, and some actresses are just lazy, or worse (if it's a sex scene) start encouraging their partner to fuck them. Ugh! I mean that's sexy for vanilla sex I suppose but BDSM is not "vanilla sex".

Thankfully we have the internet which caters to pretty much any kind of fetish or fantasy a person might have. A lot of "mainstream bondage" is pretty boring but there are a decent number of exciting production companies out there who occasionally release something good.

On a positive note, I recently got my hands on a copy of that latest cinemagic electro feature, and I'll perhaps write a review of my complete thoughts later. Right now I'll say that it's full of naked, shackled & imprisoned Japanese women being electrocuted and screaming, crying, sweating, choking/drooling on themselves, desperately begging for mercy (which thankfully isn't happening) & occasionally pissing themselves while their captors set their nipples and labias to "well done". So in other words it's great and you should all watch it. If you're a fan of torture I don't know why you haven't seen it twice, the first scene alone is incredibly entertaining (despite the actresses breast implants.)

On a final note, is anyone else a big fan of Cinemagic's graphic design team? Their DVD covers are just ridiculous and funny in an over the top way, especially when you also look at the film's title. I love how animated and bold the look of some of the covers are though. Here's a compilation of some that struck my eye while briefly looking at their catalog:

Ralphus has kindly posted another of my short stories, RELATIVE POWER, for which MadBob has drawn the illustrations. I hope that those of you who choose to read it will enjoy it and give me your comments about it, either privately to my email address (listed above) or on the GIMP forum.

I also have another story that should be ready for posting in a week or two ... and a third story that will be ready a week or two after that (after I get permission to use the pics to accompany it that I wish to use).

Also, I enjoyed the postings and discussion about the Jac/ Amy film Agent X (filmed when Amy was still Jane). It was the first Jac/Amy film that I ever saw and it remains one of my favorites of theirs. A simple and effective premise. I think that any criticism must take into consideration that it was made on a minimal budget.

As far as the latest poll, I don't search mainstream films for GIMP scenes because the time/benefit ratio just doesn't seem nearly as good as for genre films. Might GIMPers share the names of other internet sites that they use to view GIMP? Most of the other sites that I used in the past seem to have disappeared, leaving me only Cutscenes, Dark Fetish Network and Dead Skirts as other sources (and none of these are nearly as good as this site).

I dunno, nostalgia? Because things really were better back then? I agree a number of them were lame, but I don't think the percentage of quality has necessarily gone up in recent years. If we're talking about strictly mainstream films, the big difference is that back in the 1970s and 80s, you got nudity, and usually an abundance of nudity. Nowadays it's pretty rare.

I think if that were true about the 15-30 seconds, I would agree with you more. The thing is, I have easily over a hundred mainstream scenes in my collection and none are that short. Many of them run several minutes long, even after being edited to keep only the "good" stuff. And as was noted by a few people here recently, mainstream films often have higher production values, better acting, more believable plots, etc. Some of the most beloved scenes I own are from mainstream movies; I often prefer watching them instead of actual adult bondage films. Obviously, that may not be the case for everyone, but I think real movies have something about them that is missing from even the most well-made bondage and fetish productions.

Go to the GIMP daily, and what you get is stuff that is 100-proof compared to the near-beer of the exploitation shit we are missing so terribly.

Where do you look to find mainstream films that contain GIMP material?

Should be no surprise to anyone: mainstream movie and TV shows that promise gimp fiery peril, especially Bats. Before the web it was Vincent Price inquisition type movies but now it's Red Feline, Maleficarum and Olalla.

Also new TV shows like Criminal Minds and Salem.

It drives me crazy that since the year 2000, new mainstream Hollywood American movies about witches like "Season of the Witch" and "Hamsel and Gretal Witch Hunters" had no bats scenes other than quick glimpses.

TV shows have more longer bats and fiery peril scenes. The TV show Hannibal had a great gimp fiery peril scene.

I have a feeling that there are few on this forum who, like Ralphus and me, miss the enjoyment of scouring our local video store for hidden gems -- movies with great GIMP scenes, but not centered entirely on the abuse of some lovely.

Where else would I have found the Italian gem "Hitchhike" with David Hess and Corrine Clery, or the French "Rape of Love" (L'amour violé). Canadian is right, movies with both a story line AND gratuitous sex like the Ginger series will probably never be made again, because the distribution channels for movies with a bit of a budget have become so conglomerated that the return on investment would simply not justify their production costs. Also most likely never to be made again are movies like the porn classics "Intrusion" and "Expensive Tastes".

What many of the old mainstream movies did that is rarely done now is leave something to the imagination. Sure, it could be infuriating when the camera turned away just when things were getting good or the hero would run in and save the victim just before the bad guy got to the good part, but I for one got at least some satisfaction from the "set up". Show me the possibilities and I will take it from there.

As a big fan of modern-day stories, including Home Invasion, movie-makers like Rick and Amy --- and whoever made ISOG-2 --- give me hope that there is enough demand for plot-based stories that we will see more. Couple that with the easy-access that we now have through numerous websites and I am optimistic.

Holy crap! You continue to amaze me! I haven't been able to find the whole movie (other than PPV from the studio's site) but it looks like something I'll have to keep my eye open for if it ever hits the market in downloadable form or DVD in the North American region. The pieces you posted up look really, really good.

Badger asked if there were those of us who miss the old days of scouring video shelves for B-movies with GIMP scenes, and to answer that question, yes! I'm one of them. And along with my celluloid archeology I actually learned a few things about composition, lighting and whatnot. I've never heard of "Check To The Queen" - is it worth searching around?

And if Rick Masters of ZFX is reading this forum, he really should try to cast Luna Vera in one of his films. He could even continue his "Whiplash" series with "Whiplash 5: Pavlov's Bitch". Here's the plot: a mad scientist tries to one-up Pavlov by kidnapping a girl and training her to respond to music by associating certain rythms with basic daily functions. When its time to eat, he plays a particular drumbeat. When it's time to be bathed and shaved, there is a different series of drumbeats. When its time to "play" sexually, he plays a third set of drumbeats. And when it is time to hurt, he plays a different rhythm. The experiment ends when she correctly associates the specific acts to the music being played, and responds accordingly - salivating in anticipation of food, arousal in anticipation of sex, and screaming in anticipation of pain. I live in the same city as Luna, so if she needs a ride to Orlando, I'd be more than happy to drive.

I totally agree with you there, sir. I, of course, campaigned hard for her in my Ralphus Awards post, and get this, I was corresponding with Candle Boxxx via e-mail last week when out of the blue she told me she made the same suggestion. Here's what she wrote me:

"Just dropped a note to Rick to see if he wanted to hire some fresh meat. There is a little gal named Luna that Deathtrap worked with. I met her when she first started and she has a lot of potential. She is a very sweet girl and she has not gotten too big for her britches like some of the models."

On Luna Vera, I would agree that she may have some "raw talent", but as an avid AOH guy, I prefer when the models are a little fitter like Candle is and others like Monica Moore and Allison Parish were back in the day. Don't worry about it Covers. I have a bunch of members that go out of their way to let me know when I make a mistake on one of my posts. I use your posts to come up with the official year of the covers I find. Besides you can find lots of the inside scans that you have no idea what book they came from.

They don't have the prods stick out as much anymore. It was too easy to short circuit the device with a wire or you could shock your ownself. The buttons used to be either on or off. When we were kids we used to turn them on and people would get a shock touching one. Those old ones were really an experience. Look what you needed to move a stubborn 1 ton cow. Now you get the effect by the jab and the shock.

Neither movie has bondage or whipping. Both are mainstream movies, each with a somewhat extended rape scene involving a really good-looking victim. They are along the lines of Frame Up that Ralphus mentioned in a previous post.

Always good with constructive criticism from expert kinksters

We have a pretty comprehensive review of Hitch-Hike by Mr. 0 in the Reviews section. The movie starred the luminous Corinne Clery from The Story of O, possibly the most beautiful woman that ever appeared on film, and featured David Hess, one of the all-time best screen bad guys, as the villain here. With that kind of casting, how could it not be great? The highlight is a long rape scene outside by the fire, as Hess bangs Corrine in front of her tied-up husband. It's definitely worth checking out; Netflix has it.

Regarding Rape of Love, that happens to be a restoration project I'm working on with Fritz. I have 2 prints of the movie, one fairly sharp, although a bit dark, and the other is a crappy copy but it has subtitles. What I did was time code the subtitles to sync up with the better print, and Fritz is planning on manually adding the subtitles to the better print and slightly lightening it so we have a definitive version of the rape scene. Why are we going to all that trouble? Because it's a damn good rape scene, one of the best I've ever seen, and getting to read the actual dialogue makes it even better. I'm done on my side, I'm just waiting for him to complete the rest on his end.

I don't want to rush him because he's got a full plate with other projects, such as restoring the inside scans of the MAM stories, and more recently, as Amy noted, he also created the Ralphus Award image for me. Who wouldn't want to have one of these on their virtual mantle?

Movie Review of Captured South Of The Border

I never thought I would be writing a review of a London/HOM film but the latest poll and discussion of the relative appeal of women before, during or after whipping gives me an excuse to do so.

A little about London/HOM videos; they were popular about 30+ years ago and by today’s standards were pretty tacky as illustrated by titles such as “Kiss My Whip” and “Bondage Gymnasium.” The plots varied but in the main were excuses to get some naked babes into the dungeon (or its equivalent) for some whipping, clothespin application and breast clamps. Note I did not say torture because the main problem was that these torments were as a rule, lame. (Clothespins happen to be a favorite peeve of mine; it's sort of like a dialogue going, "I'm going to torture you to make you talk. I'm going to fry your nipples with electricity, pull out your toenails slowly and burn your clit off with a soldering iron. Wait, I've got a better idea: I'll put clothespins on your tits.")

The video opens up with three women waiting for a "delivery," and immediately we see why HOM has become synonymous with "porno kitsch." The credits tell us two of them are named Annie Warhol and Tiffany Storm, and all three are carrying whips or a crop and are dressed in black leather retro-dom outfits, just what a government interrogator would be expected to wear. The package they are expecting is Theresa, the daughter of one of the richest men in the country, and she is suspected of hiding rebels.

A car pulls up and a sleeping bag is lifted out of the back. Inside the sleeping bag is the bound and gagged Theresa (played by Aja), and this starts stage one of the three stages of a whipping, the anticipation.



The chief interrogator prods her with her riding crop and tells her, "I am the Comtesse Suarez. Perhaps you have heard of me. Welcome to the house of pain." This promising beginning continues in the next scene where we see the lovely Theresa seated with her wrists bound behind her being questioned by the Comtesse. When Theresa refuses to admit to aiding the rebels she tells her minions to strip her but not gag her as "I like to hear the screams of the highborn."



Theresa is bound AOH and her blouse and then her skirt are cut and torn off her body unhurriedly, and a great body it is. It is noteworthy that her back is toward us while she is being stripped. We not only get to appreciate her firm well shaped ass and legs but there is the anticipation of seeing her full frontal which will not disappoint. All in all, the prelude to her whipping was quite well done and I would rate it highly.



The whipping itself was pretty tame. It includes the dreaded clothespins on the tits torture. The only redeeming fact is that it is Aja who is being whipped. Her reactions and cries of pain are OK, especially considering the meekness of the punishment, and she is a pleasure to watch squirm. All in all, a letdown from the opening, but still worthwhile.

The last part of our trifecta shows Aja hanging exhausted from her bonds. Even the last few strokes of the flogger don't get the same reaction as the earlier ones. Clearly she is exhausted. I can't help feeling that this stage of a whipping doesn't get enough love.



I liked this medley even with the bad acting and mediocre whipping. The one thing they certainly did get right is that whipping (or other torture) should be a three act play.

The rest of the video isn't that bad either. Another rebel is captured and whipped in front of Theresa. She screams and thrashes about quite convincingly, and the lashing is much more believable, if still not totally acceptable.



Meanwhile Theresa watches on her knees with her wrists fastened to a chain that runs to the ceiling. Then Theresa is chained to the floor with her legs up in the air, hanging from a spreader bar. As she struggles the Comtesse walks in and says, “Those chains are stronger than you will ever be,” and commences whipping her, but it lacks gusto.



When this does not get Aja/Theresa to talk, they decide to use electro-torture. She is spread-eagled on a table while Annie Warhol attaches the electrodes to her breasts and inside her thighs. Theresa struggles enough that her two torturers have to restrain her to get the contacts on. “Oh boy,” one thinks, “this should be good.” It isn't. Not one watt of current gets to flow through that lovely naked body before the good guys (gals actually) show up. This is a perfect example of a great buildup ruined by no follow up.



It is hard to give this video a rating. Overall it is a C-, so if you are not turned on by Aja naked in chains, give it a pass. If you are (as am I) it is certainly worth the $10 for a lifetime rental at HotMovies.com and I would give it a B, even with the campy production.

Wow. That electro scene from Captured SOB was one of the first such torture images I ever saw and pretty much led me on the path of this fetish. But I never could find out where this image (the very same one) had been taken from.

Now, all these years later I find out the scene never even went to the actual torture? I've been living a lie!!!

Painman: But aren't we all. (Living a lie.) BTW, I think electro was very rare if not non-existent in the London/HOM video catalogue. I can't recall seeing another attempt. Probably has something to do with TENS machines not yet being popular.

I recall being somewhat taken with Aja back in the '80s, although there are other porn stars from that period that I remember more clearly.

Re: the latest poll. What exactly is mainstream nowadays? Does that include cable? Internet? There is a very good independent video rental store near me where I found Bunny Game, Naked Fear,and a British film The Abductors, all from this century, but these aren't really GIMP films in the sense of "Merciless Peril". I rarely go to the movie theatres anymore and don't care much for the TV series. This past year I found Teraz and Red Feline on my own but mostly I find interesting stuff right here at the forum. (My boyfriend's collection of 70-90's Rollin, Franco, Bava, Argento,and ZFX DVDs are all damaged due to prolonged storage.)

So I guess my answer to the poll is "nothing mainstream".

Scrooge asked for female input on the films noted here. Well, what i look for is what i indulge in, full nudity, light bondage (struggling), and flogging. That's enough for me to get off on.

Re: the film Caged. If this is considered mainstream then it is downright boring. Poor Cecily's time on the rack was certainly more enjoyable. Maybe the guys who make some of these should join the forum.

Where do you look to find mainstream films that contain GIMP material? Is there a particular genre you are drawn to? And what formula or technique do you use to seek out what you're looking for?

Since I 'consume' only mainstream productions for reasons I already explained (veridicity, profesional crews, decent budgets) I'm at the mercy of the Hollywood execs.

I disagree though that the golden era of mainstream GIMP is over since the cultural output available this day increased hundredfold (think TV series, think PPV channels, think Direct-to-Video) since back then. Not only that but foreign movies are also instantly available to us. So yeah, maybe PC killed a lot of expoitation in mainstream but, by sheer volume, you're still bound to find something worthy once a month or so. And foreigners, God bless their souls don't take that PC too seriously. Well, except Brits. They went overboard.

Where do I find them? Mostly on-line, sold by bigger or smaller avenues. I bought from Time Warner Classics and I bought from Something Weird Videos. Some copies I got them from Ebay from different countries. A latest addition is the WIP site, where the admin seems to enjoy the same titles as I do.

How do I find that a movie has something of interest to me? Well, there is a huge community on Tumblr that's into this kind of imagery, sooner or later I see an image of interest (among millions from Kink's productions I couldn't care less about), I follow it upstream, search Google Images and sooner or later you get the name and year (or season/episode). Other time ppl from this forum spot something interesting. Cuz that's the real difficulty when you deal with such a huge mainstream output. To get a hint. Spotters are always my favorite people online.

The only non-mainstream works I reluctantly bought were VermeerWorks titles (I guess I have most of them) and only after I watched Amy on Youtube talking about Maleficarum and I got charmed by her tomboy attitude to life.

Esso: Thanks for the review of "Captured South of the Border". Like Painman said, that image captured my imagination way back and has been banging around forums and chatboards since, well, I guess there were forums and chatboards. Now I can place a title to the scene! So, that counts for something. I didn't even know that film was still around. I'm not really into "lifetime rentals", because those are only as good as the company hosting it, which lasts until the revenue stream is in the red or the government shuts it down. But, if that's the way it is, then that's the way it is. Shame, really, that the image clarity isn't better. Same issue I have with most versions of Nikki Dial's great scene in "House of Correction".

As for HOM's weak attempt at whipping, the best best best whipping scene I've come across during that time period is in "The Curse of Merlin's Castle", where Alexis Payne takes a flogger to China Tymicks' breasts and she goes at her hard. Granted, it's a multi-tailed and doesn't leave marks, but the impact definitely was felt and probably left bruises the day after filming. For those with foot fetishes, as soon as Mistress Payne is done with the poor girl's breasts, she spins her around and goes after the soles of her feet with a cane. Final scene is China in full suspension and getting ass-whipped with a longtail. Nicely done and you can see the victim sweating - for real, not the oily fake stuff. For me, this film has held up nicely in presentation and performance, even with the escalation of stuff put out by studios like Mood and Elite Pain.

Kelderek: Maybe try changing the color of the shaft to something more wooden? The white/yellow looks an awful lot like an unlit lightbulb. Or if you want to make it futuristic, go with the lightbulb look and maybe make it a glowing cattleprod.

And lastly, for those who are fans of Eufrat, [www.spankingserver.com] is offering three of her clips as free bonus clips for members this week, so get'em while you can. Two of the Eufrat clips are good but one is lame. I've vidcapped the two good ones above.

Since I brought it up, I might as well post up some vidcaps of China's breast flogging in "Curse of Merlin's Castle". What I love about this scene is the interplay between China and Alexis Payne. The basic storyline is that China is one of 3 maidens trying to get the secret of Merlin's sorcery. That secret is guarded by Alexis Payne, and only the worthy shall pass. The three maidens must endure tortures to see how long they can last before they break, thus we see China's stoic demeanor during her initial flogging, then slowly breaking down as her beating continues. The whole interplay between the two of them really makes the scene work. You can see the battle of wills as one tries to take what the other dishes out, and it goes on for quite a while. In terms of GIMP-worthy status, this is one for the ages. In fact, the other two ladies carry on very well also, but definitely China steals the show. This whole film is Alexis Payne at her best.

The vidcaps above are at the beginning of her scene. If I knew how to post videoclips I'd share this scene as well as her suspension whipping. Anybody care to educate me? Here's a scene from a Spaniard drama made for TV that I picked almost accidentaly. It took me some effort to get the DVDs with the whole season but it was worthy.

I know we are all different but there's absolutely no home-made BDSM clip that can beat this scene in my preferences.



Another entry from the same kind of source is Ana de Armas in another TV serie called Hispania, shot a few years ago. You have whippings, brandings, rapings (even if that's not my thing) with an actress that look angelic, in a profesionally, believable enviroment. There's no way a shoddy video, with a shaken camera, badly lighted, featuring a tatoo-ed C grade actress can beat IN MY PREFERENCES. No way.

That came out a few years after Blakemore and Barbara Behr left HOM and their movies went to shit, with lame plots and nearly all female casts. I remember seeing the video advertised (I think they were around 50-60 dollars back then...those were the good old days) and was interested but I ultimately passed. It's too bad, because I always thought Aja was one of the more attractive porn stars. In fact, I didn't know she did bondage but looking over her filmography, she actually did quite a bit. BTW, the Internet Adult Film Database has her listed as dead, but I'm pretty sure their information is wrong.

I liked your comments about clothespins on nipples, but really, back in those days, you didn't get much worse than clothespins, candle waxing and whipping as far as tortures went. This was during the Reagan/Bush years and bondage porn was under attack, so they deliberately wouldn't go very far. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was either HOM or Bon Vue that had some of their titles withdrawn around that time, either because they had to or else they did it voluntarily because they feared prosecution. And you're right, I don't recall any electro used in any of their productions, either.

JD: Gotta agree with you on those two video clips, particularly Hispania with Ana de Armas (which, incidentally, won a Ralphus Award in 2010). She's so beautiful, I could watch her get tortured all day.

Now compare your clip to the Little Caprice video, for instance, which I noticed was one of the free videos offered on that Spanking Server site that Thomas Chaser linked earlier (4th one down on the far left). I think Caprice is very cute, there's real nudity, the video is in HD, it's twice as long as the Hispania clip...and yet, there's really no comparison. The mainstream scene blows away the professional bondage video in every aspect. Again, that's my opinion, but on the other hand, I'm always right.

As to Eda's question about where to find GIMP online, there are many, many sites – free, PPV and subscription based – at which you can find art, photos and 3D still images. Indeed, one of the most popular is DFN, but you'll find even more peril pictures at DeviantArt and (if you like 3D) Renderotica. There probably are many more such sites that others will know about. By contrast, the GIMP and DeadSkirts are primarily discussion forums and have relatively little visual material to offer.

Videos are harder to come by, especially if you don't want to pay for them. Even DFN now requires that you pony up for a premium membership to get access to their clip library. Similar free repositories include CutScenes and ShockFlix at DarkPeeps. Avulsion seems to be DoA again. Much larger, but less specialized, are Vimeo, xHamster, and of course Youtube. All have relevant material, but it can take a bit of time to find what you want. Of course, we assassins enjoy the hunt. You victims seem to have less patience.

Poll: This one is tough to answer because the sources of mainstream movie GIMP have varied widely over the past fifty years.

Most of us know the evolution of mainstream media, particularly exploitation films, from the 1960's on. Up until the early 1980's, your best option for GIMP scenes (if you were close to a big city) was the local fleapit movie theater or grindhouse – though television could offer some surprising mainstream peril content, especially if you were lucky enough to have access to a channel which featured foreign films or one of those late-night horror shows hosted by a cheesy Vampira or Zacherley character. Sadly, in those days, you often came across a great scene once, and then never again. After a single viewing, it would live on only in memory, and in some cases, it still does to this day.

Of course, through the 1980's and much of the 1990's, videotape rentals reigned supreme, and probably featured the widest range of mainstream GIMP in history. Most of the older films were transferred to VHS, and a whole new trend emerged: “straight-to-video” – low budget, non-Hollywood productions which were mainstream in style, but often catered to the exploitation crowd and featured much more nudity and GIMP than big-screen releases. As Ralphus mentioned, anything marked “uncut” or “unrated” was a good bet, at least for a while, but along with misleading cover art, deceitful blurbs on the videotape packaging became the bane of GIMP seekers by the 90's. Repeat viewing was now a possibility, but few people bought overpriced mainstream releases, especially in the early days.

DVDs arrived in 1995, but unlike videotapes, which embraced mainstream GIMP from the start, it took a good five years before the exploitation fare from the 60's and 70's became popular on the new medium, and even now, it isn't quite as prevalent as it was on VHS. “Straight-to-DVD” also emerged, though again more slowly than on tape. Of course digital quality was much improved over analog, and hardly anyone rents anymore, so for $20 many great mainstream GIMP moments can be yours for daily viewing.

Today, online is the place to be of course. Excluding pirate sites, perhaps the best source of mainstream GIMP is Netflix – if you are in the US at least. For the rest of the world, not so much – especially with studios putting pressure on Netflix to curtail VPN use to gain access by proxy. Youtube has a surprising number of low budget and exploitation films available in their entirety, but many are low-quality VHS transfers. A few companies, like Something Weird, have enabled downloads of copyright-free, low-budget mainstream fare released before 1980, and many of these feature great GIMP scenes.

So much for the history of where to find mainstream GIMP. Now a few words about genre…

Again, mainstream film genres frequently featuring GIMP scenes evolved over the years. And of course, a lot depended on what perils you preferred. I can only attest to what I was looking for at any given time, and though your mileage will certainly vary from mine, here are a few I remember fondly (by decade).


1960's

Monster flicks: These were hold-overs from ten years earlier, but the ones made in the 60's were more lurid and could usually be counted on to feature an under-dressed maiden to be captured and abused by some nasty creature.

Spy films: These had more female demise than peril, but every now and then there would be a nice interrogation or bondage scene, albeit relatively short and tame. The European titles were the best ones.

Roger Corman Movies: If you've seen them, you'll know what I mean.

Roughies: I didn't discover this porn sub-genre until the 1970's, but anyone old enough to have watched them when they came out would have been amazed. Among the earliest was the Olga series, which still holds up today. Though late to the party, Poor Cecily is another fine example.

Hammer Films: A few monsters, but also vampires, prehistoric women, Vikings and psychopaths. Stir in some of the most beautiful actresses of the day, remove their clothes, and throw them in peril. Does anyone remember Stefanie Powers tormented in Die! Die! My Darling?

Peplums: Invariably from Italy or Greece, these biblical or mythical fantasies almost always featured a slave girl on a rack or strung up, and frequently whipped.

1970's

Witchfinder Films: Mark of the Devil was released in 1970 and generated enough notoriety (and apparently ticket sales) to spawn a dozen or more imitators, all of which proudly displayed their GIMP credentials with numerous scenes of accused witches (always female) enduring extremely brutal treatment.

Nazisploitation: This genre actually began in the late 1960's, but it wasn't until Ilsa came along that it really took off. Once the Italians (who in the 1970's copied everything from Kojak to Star Wars) borrowed the theme, there was enough sex and extreme GIMP to satisfy even the most demanding punters.

Giallo: Speaking of Italians, this genre is one they can take full credit for. Women in these films were usually in for lots of rape, torture, and some very creative deaths. Some of the country's top directors, like Dario Argento, Lamberto Bava and Michelle Soavi created first-rate films with memorable GIMPery throughout.

Women In Prison: This genre dates back decades earlier, but like Nazisploitation, it hit its stride in the 70's. By this time, half of Roger Corman's output seemed to be in the WIP category, almost all of it shot in the Philippines. Since it was women, not men, in those prisons, GIMP content was assured.

Rape-Revenge Films: Though I Spit on Your Grave didn't make a splash until it showed up on video in the early 80's, it was initially released in 1978 and borrowed heavily from a genre which also included earlier classics like Jackson County Jail and Last House on the Left.

Nunsploitation: In my view, this is the weirdest category on my list. Who knew there was so much GIMP going on in European convents? Still, after The Devils was released in 1971, oddball flicks like Alucarda, The Other Hell, and dozens of others showed up, almost all featuring nudity, rape and whippings. Not surprisingly, most were from Italy.

Pinku Eiga: The Japanese got an early start integrating GIMP as a core element of mainstream cinema with Suzuki's Gate of Flesh and other classic 1960's films, but it wasn't until the 70's that they traded art for exploitation and put gorgeous stars like Reiko Ike through the wringer in outrageous and violent films like Sex and Fury and Female Yakuza Tale. Although they were not known as Pinku Eiga here, these Japanese films were staples at my local grindhouse theaters at the time.

Spanish Horror Movies: This genre is most associated with Paul Naschy, who frequently found excuses to strip and torture his strikingly beautiful heroines. Inquisition, for instance, has several GIMP scenes of note. After the country's fascist regime collapsed, many Spanish directors went out of their way to include nudity and violence in their films after decades of restrictions. Amando de Ossorio's Blind Dead series is another example in which half-naked Castilian wenches get the sort of rough treatment we enjoy.

1980's

Slasher Films: I never cared much for these, but there's no denying that they were both mainstream and had a relatively high degree of GIMP content. But the nudity was fleeting, bondage was virtually non-existent, and even torture and rape were rare. Still, if your idea of female peril is a skimpily dressed teenager being chased through the woods for a half hour before being stabbed to death, these were for you. Once in a while, creative directors would mess with the formula, and a non-slasher slasher like Don't Go in the House or Fatal Pulse would deliver some decent mainstream GIMP – but usually in only one or two scenes.

Category III Films: I discovered these while living for five years in the local Chinatown. 90% of the rentals at the neighborhood video store were Mandarin/Cantonese, and I quickly learned that anything with the distinctive Category III label almost always featured extreme GIMP sequences. OTT doesn't begin to describe some of this stuff. All Category III titles were produced in Hong Kong during the days of British rule, which of course came to an end in 1999 – along with the genre.

Jess Franco Movies: Like Corman, Franco isn't really a genre, but when 80% of your output features significant GIMPage, you belong here. Of course, his career goes back to the 1950's, but although I'd come across a few of his films on the grindhouse circuit in the mid 70's, it wasn't until his work flooded the VHS market that I realized he was the GIMP master we know him as today.

Jean Rollin Movies: Like Franco, he was mainstream and popular in Europe long before the videotape boom brought him to prominence world-wide in the 80's. I quickly learned that his name on the box pretty much assured a good time somewhere during those 90 minutes.

Cannibal Gut-Munchers: Like Nunsploitation, this is another peculiar category that seemed to come out of nowhere. It began in the late 1970's, but just before the video boom, these films became crazy popular on the 42^nd street circuit in Manhattan. Shortly thereafter, they were available on VHS. As anyone who has watched Cannibal Ferox can attest, the GIMP scenes can get a little dire.

1990's

Japanese Hentai: Animation in Japan has a long, storied history, but it's in the 1990's when it became prominent world-wide with Manga releases like Ghost in the Shell. As happens with most Japanese entertainment, every new brand breeds an adult, X-rated version. Consequently, countless Hentai films, which are basically Manga porn loaded with sex and violence, flooded the market. As you might expect from the Japanese, there's no shortage of GIMP here. I've watched my share, but I just can't get into the Japanese animation style, so overall it's not one of my favorite genres.

2000's

Japanese Splatter Films: These date back to the mid 80's Guinea Pig films, which can't really be considered mainstream. But over the next decade, this genre grew in popularity, and by the 2000's, I'm sure Japan has become the world's largest importer of fake blood. With titles like Big Tits Zombie and Robo Geisha, you've just got to expect some GIMP content, but based on what I've seen, most of it is for what A Canadian likes to call the mangleheads.

Torture Porn: Toned down CGI splatter for the new millennium. We've all seen it. Most of the violence seems to be directed at men. I've enjoyed two GIMP scenes out of the dozen or so examples I've watched in this genre. If this is the best we can expect from mainstream GIMP these days, it's no wonder we primarily discuss JAV and fetish clips on the forum.

As with any list like this, mine is by no means definitive. Most of these genres are still around today, and some have been revived, a few more than once. Still, I've sorted them by time period because that's when they were most salient to me. You can still find examples of all of them today, both on DVD and online.

As for the whole genre concept, I'm well aware there are likely thousands of GIMP scenes that occur in mainstream films that do not fall in any particular category – or at least not one normally associated with female peril. As per the poll question, these are the genres I was drawn to, and which most frequently delivered what I was looking for. Of course I've come across GIMP scenes in films representing other genres, but often those were pleasant surprises, not mainstream fare I was watching expecting to hit paydirt.

And yes, I'm sure I missed some. I made this up as I went along, and I almost certainly overlooked some glaringly obvious examples of mainstream GIMP genres. Please feel free to add others.

Goia actually has a number of nude/nearly nude scenes in that series (thankfully!), all of which actually pertain to the plot. For those not familiar, her character was nobility from an enemy faction, captured by the king during the Reconquista and turned into a slave (that's the scene where they're lined up in the dungeon). Being a spirited one, she had an altercation with her captor and was being punished when the king's uncle (or brother, I can't remember which) found her and suspected the truth. Thinking he could use her as ransom (or as a powerplay for his own aspirations), he spared her and then slowly began to fall in love with her (hence the seduction process of Goia revealing herself to him as things go along). The real character is considered something of a hero. I haven't watched the entire series and my Spanish is shakey, but I've gotten that much out of her scenes. She's definitely not a disposable character, so her whipping scene is that much more poignant when given the context.

And speaking of context, you know why that "Hispania" scene is so good? In addition to what JDII pointed out regarding non-tat actress and good camerawork, it's the interplay between victim and torturer. There's a purpose to why she's being beaten, and a certain defiance by the victim. It's the test of wills that makes good drama, and good drama makes a good scene.

Take the scene in "Curse of Merlin's Castle" that I referenced earlier. What makes this scene work is that interplay between Alexis Payne and China Tymicks. They're actually trying to act in the movie, and doing a pretty decent job (given expectations of a porn actress and a professional bondage mistress). I'm including vidcaps from the beginning of the scene that sort of sets the stage for things to come. Payne, being taller, physically dominates China, but she also brings attitude. China, for her part, expresses the defiance of a brave not-quite-young maiden about to be tested. And tested she is.

When you compare the acting to what usually comes out of San Francisco - which isn't acting at all but just wham, bam, thank you ma'am "Can I get paid now?" scenes. No story, but plenty of tattoos to distract you. Pity really. I like the Kink.com sets but they're horribly wasted on non-engaging sex scenes. There's bondage, and then there's GIMP bondage. GIMP bondage needs a story.

Yes. Uplifting. Fulfilling. One of my top favorites in this genre, and shows you how rewarding mainstream stuff can get without needing to resort to nudity, not that I'm against that. I loved the nudity in "Galaxy of Terror" and "Humanoids from the Deep" and I miss it these days in the mainstream stuff.

There was a gorgeous night scene photo from that film in closeup of a dewey-eyed lovely Stefanie Powers with wet hair, trying to stay afloat, about to drown. I saw it in an old magazine in 1970 and haven't been able to find it since. The film noir lighting was choice.

On a related note, there was an excellent water torture scene with Geena Davis, probably in "The Long Kiss Goodnight". It looked like something from a 1930's horror pulp cover by my favorite Gimp artist John Newton Howitt.

There was some kind of KKK whipping scene with Sandra Bullock in "A Time to Kill". They didn't make the most of it, and it seemed too short. Maybe that's all they could get away with- using a major star, but the fact that it was her compensated slightly. For me anyway.

Poll Q: Mainstream GIMP titles....back in the day, it was VHS-and the direct-to-video that provided the most opportunities. Going from a small-town video store to several when I went to college certainly helped! Now it's either DVD or online. But if you still have a VCR or DVD-VCR combo, you can still find some gems in VHS....

As for genre, I'm partial to the captured spy/POW/survival course gone bad type (and I was waiting for JAG's producers to have a storyline like that if only to see Catherine Bell going undercover to see what was going on-and in a GIMP situation as a result! Alas...)

Covers the Relentless - ah yes, a lesser known Basil Gogos work from his post impressionist outlaw biker gang period - easily rivaling anything by a Gauguin or Cezanne - stay relentless.

A Canadian: I can't really say whether you will be disappointed in Captured South Of the Border as that depends on what you expect going in. I will say I wasn't for two reasons: besides the GIMP factor it was actually enjoyable, sort of like going to a museum and looking at dioramas of Paleolithic Man. Also it only set me back ten bucks, which isn't going to change my life. I think it was well worth it and if you order it and are disappointed you can curse me out here. BTW, HotMovies.com offers a free 20 minute trial which should give you a better idea.

Thomas Chaser: You mentioned Nikki Dial in House of Correction. She, along with Aja, were my favorite performers in these films. Should also mention her turn in Tower of Lyndon, which was at least the equal of HoC. A third actor that bares (misspelling intentional) notice was June Bauer (The Taming of June Bauer amongst others.) As far as not being completely comfortable with the rent for life concept I agree except HotMovies.com looks like a pretty substantial site and I figure for the low price I'm ahead of the game if they last six months.

The question I must ask myself is “Why this sudden interest in these dated videos which I have not paid any attention to in thirty years?” Is it strictly nostalgia? Or am I simply returning in my dotage to my (GIMP) childhood? I think it might be I am simply jaded with a lot of the current material. For example, I just looked at the trailer for The Inquisitor from EP and must unfortunately say I was not impressed. Is it me or is it Pedro?

Above is an example of one of those that are as yet unidentified. jepdat: I think I only understood about half of your post, but it seems like you're asking how to get the erotic novels from A Monk. Bottom line, you can't. They're not real. These are imaginary book covers that come from the twisted mind of The Monk. He is a good writer, though. I keep challenging him to write a real story based on the scenes depicted on his covers, but I think he's having too much fun whipping up these fake covers instead.

BTW, do you guys like these? We've gotten very little feedback on them. I do have a lot more. Does anyone want me to keep running them?

SIM Researcher: I finally got around to downloading all 263 images from your Sadism in the Movies page the other day. Quite a collection, although too bad probably about half of those are male photos. I couldn't identify any of your unknown ones, and the ones that I knew already had titles. Still, some intriguing images, some of which I've been researching to see if I can track down. One in particular has me interested...this photo from the movie They Neighbor's Wife with Cleo Moore from 1953.

Apparently it's a real hard movie to find, although 17 IMDB users have rated it, so it's apparently out there somewhere. It's kind of sad that there's so many movies that have never seen the light of day in this generation, simply because they're older or in black and white, and no one wants to put them out in new digital forms. I'll bet there's some golden nuggets that are just waiting to be unearthed. I'll keep on searching.

I've had Sadism in the Movies since 1973, but I don't know where it is now. It had funny chapter titles like slapping, spanking, and strangling. A friend said "Slapping, spanking, and strangling its way into your heart!" like it was a movie ad.

As far as Category III films go, I can't think of many that I would categorize as good GIMP films, although quite a few of them feature rape and bodily harm. The rape and torture is just not done in any particularly erotic way. The genre didn't come to an end after the British transfer of power, though, in fact one film that's essentially an extended GIMP feature ("Human Pork Chop") was made in 2001. Although the torture in that film wasn't particularly erotic, as previously mentioned.

My personal favorite C3 film is "Red To Kill", about a depraved rapist who loses his mind whenever he sees the color red. Not because it's particularly good as a GIMP film, but because the main character is just an amazing actor.

If you're looking for mainstream GIMP entertainment from Asia, you're much more likely to find good films in the pinku eiga and "pinky violence" subgenres from Japan. "Beautiful Girl Hunter" being a favorite of mine.

I like them. I think one of the source pictures was sourced from one of the ZFX "South of the Border" films - where the girl is stretched spread-eagled against a stone wall. In the ZFX film the girl is a college student being interrogated by two policemen. She ends up being whipped across her front - one of the better scenes despite being without Lisa Kinkaid, who shows up later.

Esso: The new "Inquisitor" film was done by Lomp. Pedro just did the trailer. I haven't watched it yet but I'm tempted just to see how it compares to what Pedro did produce.

Why the sudden interest in nostalgic films? I think its the season. When the climate gets colder, we think of old things. When the climate warms with rebirth, we look for new things.

And speaking of old things, yes, "House of Correction" and "Tower of Lyndon" would make a great Nikki Dial double-feature!

You'll find a list here, but it is far from complete. I'd guess there were over a thousand released in the 80's and 90's, as the relatively small store I rented them from had at least a hundred titles on VHS. I strongly disagree with him about Category III titles not qualifying as GIMP films. In fact, you've probably seen clips from some of these films yourself (maybe even the whole movie) without knowing you were watching an example of this “genre”. Along with Red to Kill, some of the better known titles include…

• Lewd Lizard (One of the first I saw and not only heavy on the GIMP, but very sexy)
• Chinese Torture Chamber Story (clips from the original and the sequel are all over the 'net)
• Dr. Lamb
• Horrible High Heels
• Men Behind the Sun

• The Untold Story series

All of these have GIMP scenes, and most present the peril in an erotic context. This is obvious just by looking at some of the titles.

I suspect many Category III movies are available on DVD as they are still popular today. Some of the popular ones are on Amazon, but the more obscure examples likely are available only from distributors specializing in Asian media. Go to your nearest Chinatown, and I'm sure you'll find them. Back in the VHS days, the box art proudly displayed the Category III label, as this was clearly a selling point at the time. But I'm not sure that's the case with DVDs today.

Here's the IMDB plot summary for Lewd Lizard, a quintessential Category III movie…

“A young suitor loses his girlfriend to a wealthy businessman. At first he's angry. Then in a fit of depression, he goes to the sea shore where he finds lizards. Immediately he puts the lizards into a bag and takes them home. Then for no apparent reason the man becomes obsessed with ladies dirty underwear (actually sniffing the panties to make sure) and he steals six or seven "tainted" ones from public restrooms and brothels. At this point the man mixes the juices from the underwear with a special "aggressive compound" and then injects the fluid into the lizards. The little reptiles (now hooked on "love jizz") become soldiers in his personal battle against females. "I hate women!" he screams, holding helpless victim's legs apart allowing the little creatures to gain entrance. Though the “lizards” look more like salamanders, this sure sounds like a GIMP film to me.

Fritz, I don't know if that sounds like a Gimp type movie. It's not the lizards rape and eat their pussies I guess, but the "tainted" or piss and ugh I can't get past that image to enjoy. Did it actually show the lizards eating pussies or was it implied by reaction of the gimps? Bill K.

Bill K.: I wish I had a copy of this film so I could do a proper review, but having watched it over 25 years ago, it's difficult to recall all the details. I do remember the underwear section is mercifully brief, so that's not much of a concern. The salamanders lizards don't exactly “eat pussies” so much as use them as convenient portals to greener pastures. If there's any eating, it's mostly from the inside. Oddly enough, this proves to be both pleasurable and painful for the victims. As for the GIMP elements, just read the last sentence of the plot summary. You really have to watch this one to understand.

I don't remember much GIMP material in "The Untold Story", which is definitely one of the more infamous Cat3 films. Although I do remember that scene in which the family gets butchered.

One of my other favorite Cat3 films is Ebola Syndrome, also starring Anthony Wong of The Untold Story fame, as a depraved rapist/murderer sicko who goes around the world spreading ebola and generally being a waste of oxygen. The most memorable scene probably being him raping that one African woman dying of ebola, before she upchucks ebola-infected vomit on his, he exclaims "let go of my dick!" and bashes her head in with a rock. As with most Cat3 films, the violence is just really lurid and over-the-top (and probably intentionally humorous, in the case of Ebola Syndrome), but not necessarily titillating.

Today's MAM scan is from Man's Book June 1972 V11 No3.

Wow, Nicki Dial and June Bauer, that brings back memories. Nicki was stunning in House of Correction, although her other stuff was mediocre at best. She was IMHO the hottest actress in the genre. BUT, June Bauer SOLD IT, she was a very good actress in her prime and she could make you think that an obvious fake whipping was ripping her backside to shreds.

Sadly, finding that stuff in DVD burn quality files is prohibitive. And sorry lifetime streaming doesn't do it for me. The other girls from that era that had some good vanilla porn material were Stephanie Rage, and one other petite little morsel who went by the name "Charlie". Their were a few others who were hot, but had few memorable moments, Jade East and "Felicia" from the Bruce Seven stuff.

As far as the opinions about Luna Vera, I have no issue with her lack of "tone", in fact in some ways I find that more attractive. She doesn't look like a stripper. But I'm not convinced of her acting chops. I found myself almost turning off the sound on the one clip I downloaded.

This gets back to my agreement with some here about Mainstream scenes. A better quality actress who isn't covered in tats and whose body type looks a bit more "normal" just sells it better. So a mediocre scene like a small bit of AOH torture in a bra and panties is more effective to me than a fifteen minute clip with some hot bod who can't sell it. I've seen some PG13 TV scenes I preferred over some long paid download clips.

As far as where to find them, it's tough. I wish we had better references. There use to be a mainstream rape database, I don't even know if you could get away with that these days. I also miss the Stomach Punching the movies database, big fan of that genre myself.

But it's hard these days, I've rented more than a couple of DVD's to find that the 'sexual assault" happened off screen or not to a main character. The only good thing is that if it's good, it usually generates some controversy and they are easier to find.

I rented one movie yesterday because a reviewer claimed they were repulsed by the violence against women (No Good Deed), it had ZERO GIMP value. And remember even a PG rape on TV or a big budget movie is "controversial" these days. Hell, there were complaints about the "rapes" in Game of Thrones and three out of the four were clearly consensual.

Great scene! A perfect example of how mainstream stuff runs circles around all sorts of more explicit BDSM productions. There is plot, build up, passable acting, and payoff.

I was just thinking that every GIMP fan probably has a movie/video/picture/story that started his or her interest in the topic. It may be fun to share a few of these experiences.

For me, one that stands out is watching the 1981 version of Clash of the Titans as a little kid some 25 years ago. I presume that most of the posters here are familiar with the scene where Andromeda (played by angelically beautiful Judi Bowker) is chained to a rock AOH as sacrifice to the sea monster Kraken. It's a wonderfully staged, slow sequence, which packs a huge emotional charge. The way that Andromeda is led to the place of her execution, put in chains despite being a princess, and then visibly distressed at what's coming is cinema at its finest, GIMP or no GIMP.

I also have to mention that I was looking forward anxiously to the 2010 remake of COTT, only to be hugely disappointed. All the ingredients were in place with a big budget production and a very attractive GIMPable actress to play Andromeda. Even the trailers for the movie promised a lot with the damsel this time actually hung by her wrists!

Of course then I saw the movie and got hit in the face with the present Hollycrap reality of shaky cam, millisecond outtakes, ADHD-masturbation-on-steroids-for-idiots movie making. It's best to release a cone of silence over this turd and never mention it again. I can still watch the digitally restored '81 classic to improve my mood.

Category III, like R or NC-17 in the US, is simply a rating for films featuring extreme content. That content could include (non-HC) sex or violence or both. A Cat III film featuring only violence will have few or no titilating elements. One emphasizing sexual aspects (like Sex and Zen) no doubt will aim to arouse its audience.

That said, when people discuss them as a genre, they usually are referring to only the regional releases.

I had the great luck to actually meet June Bauer, who also goes by the names Julia Parton, Nina Alexander, and (if you happen to collect slides of porn stars) Gaye Gibson.

As Julia Parton, she would tour and dance at various adult venues. After dancing, fans could meet her in her dressing room. Not really knowing the etiquette, I bravely licked her nipple when she posed naked on my lap for a Polaroid. She laughed and thought it was great.

Speaking of the Electro-Torture Database, it's been updated today with a scene from the Spanish TV series Ãguila Roja. If that title sounds familiar, we also have a couple of scenes from the show in the Hot Iron Database. There were a number of early influences in my development as a GIMP-fan, most of where were a result of what was available to a minor before cable TV.

Saturday meant adventure films on a local TV station. There was Jane Seymour in the Sinbad film wearing almost nothing but still stunningly gorgeous, and Caroline Munro's turn as a nearly-identical character in nearly identical outfits. That got me to thinking that maybe the Arabs were on to something with the way they dressed their women (you can imagine my disappointment when I learned about burquas). I had just hit puberty and sex was new and exotic. Then came a Haji Baba rip-off chock-full of foot torture and suspension of beautiful women, and when the wind caught Elaine Stewart's pants leg just right, I thought I almost saw something. Hot damn! Sadly, no. It was never transferred to VHS or digital media. The segment you watched was captured by Charlie, a French guy looking for generic nudity in French production straight from cable signal. He went dark a few years ago.

Now that I'm older and Wife #1 is buried in the ground, I have a chance to improve upon what I had started thirty years ago, which is finding the perfect woman or at least better GIMP films. My money is that I'll find the latter before I find the former. In fact, I've already started building my library of greatest hits.

I have a number of Mood Pictures and Elite Pain films in my collect. I generally consider them too harsh and far more gory than I care for, but there are some that stand out. For me, the ultimate Mood film is still "The Milgram Experiment" (the first one) because it was so unexpected. Wendy "Zita" Gettig strapped spread-eagled to the chain-link fence while Lora Wenter orders her to be whipped for giving incorrect answers to a memory quiz is one of the strongest scenes I've ever witnessed. My go-to on the Elite Pain side of the house is "Education Pt. 2" with an unfortunate slave tied to an X-cross as a demonstration model for the effects of a riding crop on a woman's pussy. There's just something about those two pieces where everything felt "just right".

I like a story with my GIMP scenes. Torture for the sake of torture isn't very imaginative. I want that story. I want that fantasy, and sometimes I have to make my own. Max Coxx made a clip with Alicia Adams that, on its face, is really no different from any other clip he's done... until I add my own backstory. In my storyline, Miss Adams is a junior research assistant who unwittingly volunteered to be part of an experiment on women's sexuality. During the clip, a narrator describes what is going on and why. "As you can see, she's quite comfortable despite her restraints. She even seems to be enjoying herself. But now, our consultant will introduce some discomfort to her condition. Notice how quickly she responds to the stimulus."

I'll also dig around for B-movies from the past or overseas from time to time, like "Confessions of a Sex Slave" where the last 5 seconds make the whole movie worthwhile; a woman, stripped naked, is tortured with a sword, insinuating that we're watching the beginning (or ending) or a snuff film, with an ominous warning not to let this happen to our wives and daughters (unless of course, we're into that sort of thing, which I am).

That led me the Amazon Warrior films of Olaf Winter. One of his early ones is one of my favorites: "The Brave Die First", which has shoddy editing (and by that I mean its absolutely terrible) but totally hot women. And since we're talking about hot women in leather loincloths being tortured with metal, it brings us back around to Lana Clarkson on the rack being tortured with a needle in "Barbarian Queen", not to be confused with the low-low-budget effort by the same name offered over at fantasy-babes.de.

Well, her name tag said Felicia, if I recall properly, but it was 21 years ago...I think her real name is something like Tonya. She was the Felecia in the Bruce Seven movies, as well as regular porn movies.

It's not that hard to meet the current crop of fetish stars, if you actually try. I've managed to be at a Glamourcon in LA and ended up photographing Dita in a semi-private session. Another time I was at Bondcon in Las Vegas and Jewell Marceau was in line behind me. Without makeup, I didn't recognize her and was just joking with her about the ridiculously long check-in line. It wasn't until someone else came up and said "Jewell!" that I realized it wasn't just a usual person behind me.

2) I really liked Julia Parton also; she supposedly is Dolly's cousin. Did you get to discuss anything with her or was it just a quick momentary (mamentary?) thing?
Actually, I did discuss her aliases with her, hoping to impress her with my research. She mentioned that one of her early films used her real name (a variation of Julia) which really upset her. We actually talked like normal people and I found out that the husband of one my closest friends went to high school with her.

She started a fan club, which of course I joined. I ended up buying 3D slides of her, boots that she had danced in, as well as a few other things. But I really laugh at my first meeting with her, when I had that Polaroid photo taken. It just cracks me up. Not many people can say they put their mouth on a private place of one of their favorite stars, LOL.

That's funny, that clip (and the accompanying picture set) is one of the VERY FEW bondage production I ever bought. Probably the meanness of the rack (a damn sturdy piece of equipment) and the good looks of Rose sold it to me.

I can count on a single hand how many bondage clips I bought (EP Inquisition and a couple of Spanking Server clips being the others). I watched many more (expecially from the Insex era) but I usually delete them immediately after skimming though them. I watch every now and then some productions from kink.com but they never stay longer than a day or two. I'm able to watch a 45 minutes production in less than 30 seconds. Guess I'm a big time fussy eater.

For those of you looking for screen caps and downloadable video clips of underwater scenes I found a blog that can help. It has scenes from both TV and movies. There's nudity, drowning, and other adult content.

Ralphus - I'm really enjoying the daily pics. I like the style of giving a bit of background, so you can fill in the gaps yourself. I vote that you keep running them until you have none left.

MAV - I really like the look of those clips you posted - she's a total babe and it looks like she's suffering as she's sweating and disheveled. Unfortunately I can't play the vids where I live - if anyone can upload them to Vimeo or the like I'd be extremely grateful!

As for the poll, I've said before that I often prefer mainstream scenes just because the women are generally hotter and the production values better. I think I might be slightly older than some of you guys as my first experiences were before video in the 70s - we only had 3 TV channels in the UK so the only place to see films was in the cinema, Some of them weren't too fussy about age so I could sneak in to X rated films before I was 18.

One of the first GIMP related scenes I remember was in the first Death Wish film with Charles Bronson. The gang rape scene was very explicit compared to things I'd seen before, although not by today's standards. Straw Dogs was another film I remember from around then.

These days I don't seek out mainstream films exactly, although I do keep an eye out for reviews that suggest there may be something worth watching. Here in the UK things are often very censored, so ISOYG2 for example was cut a lot - when I read the review here I thought I don't remember half of the electric scene. Sure enough when I found the clip online it was much longer - the whole scene where he shocks her between the legs was completely missing from the one I'd seen.

As I really like interrogation, films about spies or war films are usually high on my radar.

Run Through the Jungle

One of the oldest images in my GIMP-fried brain dates back to when I was a kid and peaked through a men's magazine on a lower stand in the drug store.

In it I saw a story about men hunting women for sport on an island. I was mesmerized as I read how a woman, trying desperately to escape, ripped what little garment she was wearing as she tried in vain to escape the hunters she was desperately running from. Sweating profusely and out of breath, scratched and bleeding from branches and thorns, she stopped for just a moment. One hunter had a bead on her and quickly shot an arrow through her shoulder trapping her to a tree.

What an incredible image burned into my young brain that day. Of course that wasn't the only thing that fed this growing interest, but it was an early one to be sure.

I probably would have added the initial scene where she's grabbed as an appetizer, but for those who want to go straight to the meat and potatoes, it's primo stuff. I really thought that was genius to have her strategically tied standing a shallow trough full of water, so there would no way she could avoid the electricity. With that in mind, does anybody else wonder why there's no tarring and feathering scenes in GIMP videos? Into the Attic and ShadowSlaves are the only 2 companies I've ever seen do it. And in the movies it's even more rare, which is sort of shocking for a practice that's been around for centuries. The only time I ever saw it depicted on a woman was in the Italian western Vengeance is a Dish Served Cold, which also has a nice bullwhipping scene. I've just uploaded my old VHS edit to YouTube. Not a great print, but at least it has subtitles.

Tarring and Feathering: Apparently it was used by the Irish to punish female traitors during the IRA conflict. Jenny Agutter gets the treatment in A War of Children. Unfortunately, the clip cuts out just as things get good. I remember there were some stills in TV Guide when this television movie was released. There's also a scene in A Quiet Day in Belfast.

And finally, I stumbled across this one from Prisoner: Cell Block H.

As to why these scenes aren't more popular… does anyone find a GIMP dolled up like a giant chicken to be all that arousing?

Fritz: Thanks for coming up with those finds. I found a longer version of the Jenny Agutter scene right here. I'm not sure why the idiot who uploaded the other video cut it off right when it was getting good. Both prints are equally crappy, though. Too bad, because I always like Jenny Agutter. Have to seek this one out.

Speaking of bad prints, that YouTube video you linked for A Quiet Day in Belfast was horrible, and it occurred to me that I had an unwatched original VHS tape of it laying around in my collection. So I did a quick scan-through and discovered there's more to Margot Kidder's fate than what we saw earlier. At the end of the movie there's a bit more of her in her tarred and feathered state that I thought was interesting enough to add. So here's a little more complete copy for you guys.

Not that specific story, but I remember sneaking furtive looks at the man's action magazines at the local drugstore. It was newspaper comic strips that got me started, though. The earliest I remember was a sequence in Secret Heart of Juliet Jones. I was in the second or third grade.

I'm not a fan of tar and feathering. For me, it destroys a girl's beauty in the same way a permanent mutilation does. Although that clip from 'Quiet Day in Belfast' did have a nice capture scene - as Ralphus said the humiliation and degradation is erotic. Although I was a bit distracted by the cars in that clip - it's a long time since I've seen a Ford Cortina Mk.II - brought back happy memories.

Kelderek - that's a great picture - I'd love to see one of her screaming with electrodes clipped to her sensitive bits!

Bad editing, then. I try to add a bit of context without making it a sausagefest. Missing was the capture of our heroine on the beach, the Japanese officer shouting and the execution by shooting at point blank range (I dislike all kind of gore and snuff in movies). It's an older cap, made some years ago, for my own use. The clip was never intended for sharing. I have no recollection of the rest of the movie, so probably aint very good.

Quoom, thanks for the great image, even if the gimp was nude instead of fully dressed and the image showed her body responding to the electricity instead of her face emoting or the fear of what was going to happen. I'm a fan of stuff actually happening and being able to see the full response, so I love your stuff.

I'm certainly old enough that I can recall the days when the weak mainstream stuff was all we had, and the MAM covers were really exciting, but I guess I'm still not old enough to prefer nostalgia to hot! So much great stuff out there today, so easy to get.

But most of those views are only working, if you know the complete scene; for a single picture like the ones I post here at GIMP I therefore usually choose the 'full scene' pictures.

Re the clip of Ami Natsui from Death Row Girls (I didn't know where it was from -- thanks for the information): I have a clip of what happens in between. [It does not have the very beginning where she is shown trying to escape by boat, so that was a nice addition.] The clip I have runs about 1:30 and starts by showing the male commander of the prison with the other female prisoners lined up before him. Interspersed with shots of Natsui tied in another location with her AOH, the commander is explaining to the others what happens to those who try to escape (at least I assume this is what he is explaining -- he speaks in Japanese). In the middle of his speech there is a loud gunshot (so Natsui is executed off-screen) and the women start screaming and crying, knowing what has happened. All the women are dressed in khaki pants and black tops with bare midriffs. The scene then cuts back to show Natsui's body immediately after being shot, hanging by its wrists, after which it is taken away. [I can post it if someone tells me how and 1:30 is not too long.]

Kelderek and Quoom: Thanks for the great illustrations. Kelderek, you say that you do not know why the woman finds herself in her unfavorable situation. She appears to have been caught snooping in an office where she should not have been. Why was she there? Is she just nosy? Is she a blackmailer? Does she work for a rival organization or on her own? Is she a government spy? I guess those two guys are just going to have to find out the answer by whatever means necessary.

The only time I can see them is if I use AOL's crappy browser, which I'm starting to steer away from, and I can't believe too many people would want to use it.

Needless to say, every daily pic has always had a hidden pop-up message on them from the very first time I did them. I was just wondering if anyone else even knew about them.

It did have a good capture scene, and in some ways I agree with you about destroying her beauty, but in the later footage afterward, I think Margot Kidder looks pretty hot. You can see her beauty underneath the tar and feathers, much in the same way you could if she had been covered in bruises. To me, she looks like a victim here, and that's an appealing look for me. Obviously, YMMV.

Two thumbs up for the 'Run Through the Jungle' motif. One for the 'run' and one for the 'jungle'

The 'pursuit' theme is timeless and never grows old. It is the very essence of Gimposity in my opinion.

A scantily clad (or sometimes not so clad) beauty, racing through the underbrush/forest/jungle, in fear of her life and even more so her virtue, her bra-less breasts bouncing deliciously, her bare legs attacked by all manner of branches and thorns.

In pursuit, one or more sex-crazed captors who want to track her down and repay her, in their own special way, for their long and arduous chase through the forest.

Sadly, in my stories, the scantily clad girl almost always gets caught. The good news is that she usually isn't scantily clad for very long after that.

I like the "jungle" theme too, although I don't think I've set any of my own stories in a real jungle. But the idea has been used time and again in exploitation films.

In an actual jungle, the heroine must fear not only her pursuers, (gotta have pursuers) but also the possibility of primitive jungle dwellers, crocodile-infested rivers, and other savage beasts of all kinds.

What's not to like?

I have the movie in English (poorly dubbed of course). Once I get through the Vimeo process, I'll upload the English version of that scene for those who might want to compare and contrast for purely scholastic reasons.

So, following the instructions Ralphus provided, I've upload a clip from Elite Pain's "The Education - Part 2" because I want to demonstrate how important some sort of introduction is to a scene (Pedro, if you want me to take it down, just say the word and I will).

When you watch the film, notice how the camera changes view and when. More importantly, notice the pacing of the scene. Lomp is in no hurry. He takes his time with the explanations, much like any professor explaining Statistics or Economics would. He could have simply lined his students up and whipped the slave, but instead he brings each one to the front for personal instruction, then the next, then the last, extending the scene and building the tension leading up to the whipping. Notice also the positioning of the three students between the camera and object of attention, hiding the target and building a bit of mystery. This is what makes this scene stand out in the movie. That, plus the scene before it is very painfully erotic to watch (and was certainly painfully erotic for the model to endure) so we know what is coming. But like a masterful magician, Lomp is in no hurry to turn his trick. Like the slave on the frame, we're at his mercy.

Anyway, watch the clip a couple of times and you'll see what I'm saying.

The game/interactive-story-software is quite close to the beta test-phase. Currently I'm only waiting for the sound-effects that is done by a friend of mine, then I will give the members of my site a part of the first story to test it. Here is a still of one of the many animations that will be included.

The story of the picture you posted will definitely come this year. I like it a lot and have already rendered many pictures and even written a story to it that waits for its translation to English. If the mentioned software works fine enough, maybe I will present it in this framework; that is the main reason, that I haven't started it yet on my site.

Other stories like Santiago and the new one... I want to do it, but cannot give promises, unfortunately my day also has only 24 hours...

How in the name of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) have you been able to do that effect in Poser? I thought about all the techniques available in MATERIAL ROOM and all the nodes I ever heard of and none come even close to THAT! The question is mainly rethorical, to show my amazement, if it's a secret of trade you don't have to divulge it. Wow.

@JD: it's no secret at all. In fact the idea is so obvious, that I clapped my head that I didn't get it earlier.

All you need is a dynamic catsuit or similar (I used the V4 Foam&Soap because it has only one seamless texture node). In the material room set all diffuse and specular values to zero and connect the lighting texture of your choice to the ambient, translucence and transparency nodes. I also added a very small displacement and a probe light-node to the alternate diffuse-channel. To add some variation to the texture I mix it with a cloud-node. That's it .

Of course, the values have to be fine tuned depending on the lights in the scene and not to forget: the shadows of the catsuit have to be off.

Really want to thank JD and Thomas for including the Sword of the Barbarians links. This is very much an old favourite of mine. The way Yvonne's titties bounce as she is flogged is cinematic excellence Kubrick struggled to match IMO. I also liked JD's inclusion of the post whipping scenes, where we get some mouth watering views of Yvonne's bloody back...who watched the bloody sword fight here???? That's right, nobody.

Artwise I'm off to a slow start this year. Winter doldrums, perhaps. I started the year by tweaking my old Poser V4 model inspired by Insex's 912/Anne Marie. Somehow that lead into this image ("Serial 1") which might be the start of a new (loose) series direction. Up until now I've just used the model in the same old, quonset hut set with the same antagonist. With this one I decided to play off her stated fascination with certain serial killers and create a scene capturing imminent nastiosity. Plus it's a pretty good anti-smoking ad!

We'll see if this goes anywhere or if it's a one-off. Either way I hope I'll be using the updated model more, this year... and I hope the inspiration starts to flow more consistently.

As a retired spark chaser (electronic tech), I've seen electricity travel across a wet floor in water from exposed power wires to the ground when a water main broke in the Western Electric factory I worked at. I imagine a wet gimp having same look. I've never seen poser or manipulation artists create the same look of the electrified gimp. Hard to visualize it if you've never seen it happen. Bill K.

Well, besides JD getting his account deleted, it looks like Vimeo didn't approve of Thomas Chaser's 2 video uploads either, since they deleted both of them and then his account, too.

Guys, you have to use caution when uploading x-rated stuff to Vimeo. They've been pretty lenient in the past but it won't be long before they go the way of YouTube and start cracking down on people who abuse their site. Hell, it looks like they're already starting. But you've gotta be smart and not stick in totally x-rated stuff. A while back, someone else here had uploaded actual hardcore footage...we're talking dick sucking and everything...and posted it here but so far Vimeo hasn't taken them down...yet. But all it takes is one person to complain and entire lines of videos could go by the wayside.

As far as Rapidgator, I can tell you it sure didn't work for me. I kept getting transferred over to something called Kovla.com where they wanted me to register and give a bunch of information. And after I did that, I still couldn't get a link for the video so I gave up. Not an option for me.

Honestly, a place like xHamster would be more suitable for truly adult stuff. It takes longer, sometimes up to 4 days, but it's safer for adult content. But even they aren't foolproof, and I'm convinced the moderators there are a bunch of idiots. I've had videos deleted for totally bogus reasons, such as a clip of Tina Krause being electrocuted, their explanation was "This movie has been removed due to pissing or shitting on the screen". Huh? There was none of that, not even close. Another claimed it was deleted because of rape when there was no rape or sexual content of any kind. And yet another one was pulled because they said it was "bullshit, not porn."

But for the most part, put scenes in and use the BDSM category and they will accept them. I'd say 95% of what I've uploaded there ends up sticking.

Boccaccio's excerpts from stories: I'm a fan of great GIMP fiction, and obviously Boccaccio's writing is right up there with the best. That being said, the forum really isn't the place to post stories, and teasing us with short excerpts (which usually are totally unrelated to the rest of his posts) doesn't give proper justice to the artist or to his work. Instead, I'd love to give Boccaccio a better showcase, host one or as many of his stories as he wants in our GIMP Fiction section. We've certainly got some fine writers who have contributed there already, and his work would be a worthy addition.

Usually I would be the one complaining that download sites dont work for me, but this rapidgator did! Quality was fine too. I had trouble getting it off vimeo and had to go, then when I returned to try again, it had gone, but rapidgator came to the rescue. If you want either (or both) of those Ralphus, just let me know and I can send them on.

I like places that allows people to keep a copy of their files. If I remember correctly xHamster only allow viewing (much like cutscenes site). A filelocker doesn't have this issue. On top, as Ralphus said, they are rather erratically sometimes.

Sometimes when the server is busy it resets to the original state without starting the download. Try again a bit later. If all works fine, they should provide a CAPCHA anti-bot test. Do it and the file transfer begins immediately. Never give any personal information. There's a 3 hours delay between consecutive transfers.

Ralphus, you can do it. 16 other people did, according to the filestat. About half the number when I was using vimeo.

As far as download sites, as someone getting downloads Sendspace seems to work about the best for me. The only thing I've noticed with them is you have to be real careful what you title the video as. They seem to be more concerned about protecting copyright than video content.

Vimeo is great but I'm not surprised that someone complained about content. If I can offer a suggestion to those uploading for this site. Leave it up for a week than pull it, it's the thousands of visits that kill you on that site.

Uploaded used to be good, but seems to have some nasty malware, FileOm is not much better. Any of the sites where you have to tell it not to load a virus (download mgr) are no go's. Deposit files seems to be a pretty clean site too. I've avoided premium memberships, because I'm not sure how long most of these sites will last.

Ralphus, I'm about as excited about "Eye Candy" as any show on network TV in years. Not only is Victoria Justice hot, a great victim and being stalked, but most of the victims are hot. Kiersey Clemons, Victoria's friend on the show is smokin' herself.

Thanks, elkcreek. I'll give a try SENDSPACE if this one fails me. I'm accustomed to Rapidgator as my primary filelocker for fumetto's and such. Vimeo is no-game as far as I'm concerned. Plus that nagging 45 minutes wait to make you cough some dough. Neah. As for filelockers that require to uncheck a box to get the file and not some malware downloader, I avoid them like plague. Don't want to test the limits of my anti-virus software.

Not my work but I've seen the movie and the original scene is very dark and require a ton of gamma correction. That's why you end up with so many artifacts. But at least you can see something.

Also, there's been some talk about having electricity effects over the skin, or arcing and such in an image. Yet sometimes when I post images including that sort of stuff I get comments suggesting that I shouldn't. I find it hard to otherwise depict the electro-torture effect. The electric water arcing I saw looked somewhat like Quoom's in post 4978 did. What it looks like for real on a wet body may be different. In water it's the electrons of the water that are the electricity so it's possible to see the current flow in it, so I could be wrong to calling it arcing. Water is a great conductor of electricity. In that case the only option is to host them on your site. There's no free lunch in the free digital storage world.

Zippyshare would delete the file after a month of inactivity. Which means everyone lost interest in that. Based on the stats from vimeo and RS, there's a constant rate of about 20...30 hits per day, even after 3...4 month meaning they would be available for years at least.

But I'll try Dropbox next, to keep you in a happy mood. God knows you're more choosy than a pregnant woman with triplets.

They are both resource intensive (Norton more so) while McAfee tend to be rather slow to update their threat databases. After talking to a lot of people in our IT dept and doing laborious research (in 2006!) I decided to try ESET NOD32. So light you won't feel it's working in the background and yet very powerful. The downside is that it's erring on the caution side (will trigger an alarm if you install the latest YouTube Downloader application because it's a freeware that comes bundled with a toolbar that's considered 'Potential Unwanted Application' according to NOD. If you really want the app, you will have to manually override. For 9 years now I downloaded from all the sewers of the internet and I never had an infection yet (I run every now and then and rootkit scanner and malware scanner just in case but they come back clean all the time). I keep an eye on the Internet trafic to make sure my machine wasn't hijacked (zombified) and no issues there either.

They sell it in two flavors: NOD32, just an antivirus and NOD Securities, as a firewall+antivirus. The firewall is a state-of-the-art solution, using interactive mode, to learn in real time what should let through and what to block, unlike the lame Windows firewall. I highly recommend the Combo if you can afford it.

Second best from what I've seen on other system is Kaspersky, followed by Bitdefender.

Norton & McAfee are in the market only thought the OEM licensing scheme that put them automatically on many new systems sold (but in one year or so they start asking for membership for updating). Avoid.

Being both a gamer and a 3D enthusiast I really want a background software that's light on CPU. Downside is pricing is rather high in comparison with other solution out there.

Since I've been seeing Quoom post here a good bit lately, I thought I'd re-emerge from the lurkers to give him a shout-out. In the past year, the man brought to completion a masterpiece work that really, in my mind anyway,sets the new gold standard in the 3D GIMP genre. It's a story aptly called Inquisition Hell, that's been running in installments for quite a while now but was brought to a definitive conclusion a few months ago. A total of 987 pictures plus five short animated videos (some up to two minutes or more), it really is an epic.

Speaking of the gold standard, and I did see this discussed here some time back, I myself always thought Amy's scene in Maleficarum conveyed the horrific protracted nature of what death at the stake could be better, far better than anything else I had seen previously. Not least because it had the "protracted" part, which is something that most movie portrayals don't go for. And from what I can read here, it seems Olalla might top even that. Well, in this story Quoom does the equivalent in still pictures, an extended death by burning that takes things all the way to the edge, for those who like that kind of stuff. Also, there is considerable public torture on the scaffold before the hapless victim even gets to the pyre, including a torn-out tongue and heated iron instruments used on the privy parts in a couple of ways. It's pretty graphic stuff, to say the least.

Once I posted here a transcript of an actual torture session from the German witch trials, where the victim endured an almost unbelievable set of tortures, all dutifully recorded by the scribe. I've since run across other versions of that account that I think are more faithful than the one I posted, a few differences in what happens to the prisoner but no less horrific for that. Just different horrors. But that's another story-- literally. What I want to say is that in Inquisition Hell Quoom subjects an accused witch to an equally incredible series of tortures and abuses during a day-long session, interrupted only by the massive hangman raping the prisoner every time the Inquisitor leaves the room. Rack-- in a couple different variations-- strappado, repeated use of branding irons, thumbscrews, legscrews, screws to the feet, whipping, water torture, boiling tar poured over the body, and into it using a funnel, a particularly nasty variant of the horse. Well, I could go on an on, I'm sure there's things left out. If anybody in the readership likes this sort of thing rendered in 3D drawings and hasn't checked out Quoom's website lately, I would advise you to give it a look. Dozens of other good stories from all eras and places there, too, this was just the real piece de la resistance, whatever that means Well worth the price of admission.

And no, this is not a paid ad for Quoom's site. Just a tribute from an appreciative fan for an outstanding piece of work.

By the way, I saw someone saying that they're intrigued to see the story Ride To Hell start up again, and I must say I too am interested to see where that one will go.

Lastly, my own request to Quoom in the coming new year is to also resume Daughters of the Fallen King as soon as possible. Alas, you left off right at a point where I was very eager to see what was going to happen next!
