Pedro, to me, what makes your brand "elite" is the reality of the whippings and pain. I understand that you'll have an easier time recruiting when some of it is faked, but I vote for keeping as much of the torture "real" as you can.

A side note, if you are going to be doing more fictionalized stuff, something that would help me get over it would be to improve the strictness of your bondage and include more struggling. When I see a loose wrist rope in any BDSM scene, it takes me right out of it. Maybe that's just me, but there you go.

I knew there was a "John Galt" in the Rand novel. But Atlas Shrugged has always looked a little too daunting for a novel that I've been told is somewhat mediocre as a piece of literature.

Our fretting over Ralphus’ mysterious (until now) absence is just another of the reasons I love this forum. And though I am enjoying the picture of floundering sheep, maybe I see Ralphus as being our own personal border collie. We all care about you Ralphus.

For those Gimpers who are inclined toward short Gimp moments imbedded in mainstream movies --- free on Amazon Prime is a low-budget ditty called “I’ll Be There with You”. It’s an odd flick by a Japanese director, set in the American desert, with an American cast. I thought it was decent, beyond the fact that between minutes 39.00 and 41:00 the two blondes get ravaged, unexpectedly and simultaneously -- one by a wonderfully lecherous Daniel Baldwin who likes to come in through the back door and who spends much of the earlier part of the movie ogling his ultimate victim. Definitely worth twice what I paid.

I wonder and hope see Katy Perry repeat this witchy performance at the Super Bowl. Who cares about the game just tie her to a stake with fire all around and it's a success for me. Bill K.

Well, I certainly got more than I bargained for when I invited those of you who did not (or did) like my last story to set my punishment for writing it. Fritz, of course (post 5174), was totally over the top (yet he always wants to know why he has a reputation for brutality that exceeds even mine). MadBob (post 5179) couldn’t just tell me that I should be hung – he had to show it, including my contorted face gasping for air, and add a surprise waiting down below that might or might not make a contribution to my demise before the rope around my neck finished its work. My demise seemed to concern no one except Stan (post 5175). The rest of you – finding the endings of most of my stories a bit too extreme, I’m guessing – just went about your normal business, neither excited nor appalled by my fate, except for A Canadian (post 5176), who rather enjoyed my situation.

Others were not so quick to end my torment. Brainmaster (post 5178) objected to the line in my story that suggested that those who get off on S&M expend too much energy to threaten society for real. The line was not mine, but that of a character in a story, yet he now wants me to pay for it by having my arms bound behind my back, elbows touching (painful!!), which will force my modest chest out so that he can hang me by my nipples and poke hot skewers through my flesh – every day for 50 years !! And Provost (post 5261) does not mince words: “naked, racked, gleaming, gagged, bastinadoed, contrite.” “Naked, racked, gleaming and gagged” I can handle, as have many of my captives in my stories. “Bastinadoed”? I can handle that, too, I think, although the soles of the feet are not the usual targets of my victims’ captors, so I cannot know for certain how I will fare. [Sorry, Provost, that is more your kink than mine.] But forcing me to sound "contrite"? Now that would be torture!! And then Ralphus finally returns (post 5239) after giving everyone a scare, and, in his first post back, he notices the likelihood that I am dead.

Well, the truth is that I was able to evade the threats to my safety posed (and posted) by Fritz, MadBob , Brainmaster and Provost. But, unfortunately, although Daniel KSBP gave my story “two thumbs up” on the site (post 5191), he offered some private criticism and set out my punishment as follows, and grabbed me before I could escape:

“Wearing a simple summer dress (which I will tear from your body shortly), you will experience being chained, your wrists in steel cuffs above you head. Your ankles pulled out to the side and also steel cuffed. The instruments of your punishment will be a ‘single tail’ and a ‘braided cat-o-nine.’”

Daniel allowed me first to write this post to explain why I may not be able to post for awhile (or perhaps ever again). So I am sitting barefooted in a small cold room next to the dungeon wearing a summer dress with no undergarments. I can see the steel cuffs hanging from chains hooked to the ceiling. [I hope, but cannot be sure, that he will give me a chance to notify you (or notify you himself if I am unable) when Ralphus gets his computer issues under control and posts my next story that I have given him – the one with illustrations by Quoom and Arcas and others, with five female spies.]

As soon as I finish this post, I will be led into the dungeon, chained and my punishment will begin. That is why I have made this post so long -- in order to try to stall as long as possible my invevitable fa……

A Canadian, "daunting" is an apt description of Atlas Shrugged, some 1100 pages. Rand has/had an interesting philosophy and wasn't reticent about beating you over the head with it. Galt's final speech explaining that philosophy alone rambles for 70 pages. From what I remember from when I read it (High School) you could use it to torture a gimp: Place her on a wood block with her tits roped and start reading it aloud. All she has to do to get you to stop is step off the block. 40 - 45 pages would be my guess.-)

Rand's objectivism is a barely coherent system of values that doesn't qualify for the normal description of 'philosophy', not in the same way as Kant or Schopenhauer left behind. Probably the last well-built system we have is the existentialism of Kierkegaard.

As someone put in recently in a Ted Talks forum, objectivism is a good mental exercise for a rebelious teenager happy to burn the establishment but as soon as you graduate you should be able to understand why govt and social fabric exists and how blind selfishness will only get you that far. We were all libertarians (and objectivists in extenso) before we start to understand the workings of the real world. There is little excuse to stagnate at that level when getting more mature.

I was watching the footage of a (false) fire alert on a subway line last year and I was surprised how the members of the Asian community were pushing violently their way out of cars, literally stepping over everyone, with little consideration for kids or elders. It was apologized later that it's a cultural difference, bla, bla, bla. To me that was an example of applied objectivism. Extremely poor societies are also most objectivist at core. The most followers of Ayn Rand are in Sudan and Somalia. They just don't know it.

And since it's not kosher to push philosophical criticism on the throat of unsuspecting victims, here's the consolation prize. From a anthology of brutal scenes from Something Weird Videos, here's an electro-torture scene from a tape called "Bizare Cases of Death". Just read your information about the Torture Drawings websites that you posted in Oct. 2012. I asked my boyfriend and he says he read somewhere that the guy who is doing all that 'artistic' gimp stuff at Subspaceland bought the entire site and closed it all down. Whether that's true or not, we used to have some vids from those sites which were quite offensive sometimes. The brutal torture sites did have something that we enjoy:

ladies forced to walk around with their clothespins or labia weights while serving the many men with drinks and blowjobs.

Other than Mister Costello, don't seem to see that anymore. Anyone know of some recent stuff?

I think the best answers you have gotten are along these lines:

1. What you do, no-one else does anywhere near as well with anywhere near the quality of models. For whatever reason, it appears no-one else CAN do it.

2. There is a significant audience of us who appreciate what you/your models do and can't find it anywhere else.

3. Doing what you are thinking about doing is far from easy to do. Places like RedFeline and ZFX are among the best at doing "acted" versions, but none of them would actually fool anyone who had seen your videos.

4. There is a significant audience that is frightened or grossed out by the real(er) thing but would still like to see something that gives them that impression, so maybe you could sell more vids (and maybe find more "actressees) if you did a sideline of that.

5. So maybe consider another line. You currently have Mood, mostly back and ass whipping, ElitePain, pretty much anywhere whipping, but both real. Also your femdom stuff, which I've never looked at. So perhaps you could consider production of "pink" versions with vinyl strap floggers dipped in food coloring, pulling the blows, upgrading the sound-effects, etc to see how much demand you get for that.

You do have production values down, so with a little experimentation you could do some better quality "fakes" than most of what is out there. But I do wonder about the actress thing. The great majority of women don't really have any experience in their lives to draw from in such a situation. For all the Kelly McKays and Lisas and Chandra Sweets and Penelope Paces who had the physical assets and willingness to perform the roles for Rick who pulled it off, there were a BUNCH who were not very convincing or very good actresses with their clothes on.

As far as profitability is concerned, it seems to me the biggest issue for you guys is the pirating of your stuff. Go onto sites like Files Monster etc., and you can download free much of your oeurvre--often shortly after it is released. Some producers like the Aussie one with girls torturing girls and the Kink ones with girls electrifying girls seem to have set up arrangements with them so they show the trailers, but then send you to the main site to buy.

Best of luck with your thoughts on this. You guys are already the best at what you do, and I for one would hate to see you stop doing it.

@Pedro: for me, real pain isn't important at all. Well acted by a good looking actress in a convincing surrounding is all that I need.

I'd suggest, that you just make, what is in your mind, and if this is only possible with 'fake torture', just do so. I often try to fulfill wishes of my customers, but honestly spoken: the - by far - best pictures I make, when I forget everything besides my own imagination in that moment, when I'm working on the pictures.

Amazing discussion here lately. As we are talking about filming, I would like to start with the words reputedly said by Lawrence Olivier to Dustin Hoffman in "The Running Man", "Why don't you try acting?"

Which is the need of "real punishment" at all?

First, the practicalities. As no woman in her senses would submit herself to the very tortures "the Inquisition" (that overrated entity, but that is another game) or any other "interrogation by torture- user institution" performed on its victims (because to some degree it would leave permanent damage or be unbearable painful -that was the intention of it!), the historical accuracy will be severely affected; with that, even realism (lashes more akin to canning, candle wax, rough caressing and even forced sex all look jokingly fake in such an environment) will be thrashed.

Second, the philosophy of it. Come on, the very motto of this page is "We do not condone sexual violence in any way". I would feel like a real perv if I enjoy watching women suffering for my pleasure. What's the difference between that and those "Roman Circus" behaviours seen in movies about Mafia bosses going to underground hardcore brothels or even those like the "Hostel" movie series? Don't chase me off with "consensuality": that's covered by the words "in any way" in the motto (besides, lots of BDSM sites for that); and that consensuality is the very factor that characterizes an "interrogation" scenario.

So, my "thinking", if that at all matters, is: go with "acting", but "good acting". If you want to make "historical scenarios", well, just do that: no contamination with modern BDSM practices (we -even me- can give some allowance to make it look sexually attractive, even erotic, which, I'm afraid, true "Inquisition" -and others- procedures were not). Get more attractive actresses, who will feel safer now that their asses will not be actually beaten. Write some script, foresake some silly looking clothing and equipment and that general cheesy look and attitude; then, stand by the results. Otherwise, go back to filming good, honest consensual BDSM stuff; there is plenty of market for it anyway.

A final word, also taken from real filming "Faced to physical pain, you can only wish it stops" (John Hurt, "1984").

As for Pedro’s question, I’m kind of torn. On the one hand, the floggings and other punishments in most of the Elite Pain clips and stills I’ve seen go past my personal comfort level. The women certain look to be in very intense pain.

But when I juxtapose those feelings with the stimulation I receive from watching “Twitchy and Wet,” also consensual and also severe, if perhaps not quite on the level of the Elite films, I’m not sure where I come down.

I’ve also seen two short - and ubiquitous - Japanese breast-slapping films where it’s not entirely clear to me whether the actresses had consented without coercion. They appear to be bound so that they can not turn away from their attacker, and their distress seems very real – and, gomen nazai, very stimulating. Of course slapping, while no doubt painful, isn’t likely to cause permanent injury or scarring. Maybe my sexual subconscious factors that in. One big plus in the slapping films is that the slapper – whose face is never clearly seen - seems to be really into it. He’s clearly having a good time, despite the soft cries of pain and the real tears.

I’m not particularly proud of saying that, in my own case, if the actress “really” appeals to me (as 912 and the two Japanese actresses do) up to a point my prurient interest seems to get the better of my empathy. No offense to any of the participants in the Elite films, but I don’t find those performers as, well, sexy, to my personal taste.

Pain Gate and Long Dozen films, for me, often strike the right balance – the action is clearly consensual but the whips genuinely appear to sting and they leave what appear to be authentic marks of varying degrees of severity. However, while the ‘directors’ often go to some trouble to create an interesting or picturesque setting, the acting and (especially) the dialogue are terribly amateurish. The floggers seem no more emotionally invested in flogging than they would be if they were raking leaves. OTOH, the Doctor Lomp character in the Elite Films seems to me to be more interested in inflicting maximum clinical pain than he is in raising the erotic temperature. Maybe for some people the two things are inseparable, but not for me.

The best main-stream flogging scenes, to my taste, even though they are completely faked, are the ones where the flogger(s) appears to be really into it, as in “Poor Cecily” “Ramrodders” and many of the Japanese films of the ‘70’s. Good sound mixing and a suitably ominous musical score in the background can make all the difference in creating the all-important sense of ‘danger’ that makes the heart of this viewer race a little faster.

Bottom line – I’m uncomfortable with the harsh whippings in Pedro’s films, but I’m not absolutely sure that if the faces and bodies of his actresses really pushed my buttons that I would continue to avert my eyes. If toning down the actual severity of the punishments would allow him to hire actresses more to my taste, I’d say that would be a step in the right direction.

@Pedro: I would like to see a fake whipping that is sustained and detailed, and looks and sounds realistic. I can't think of any scene/movie I've seen that truly achieves this. Which probably means it's very difficult to achieve.

It'll require some great acting and probably some pretty fancy special effects.

Ed: No need to apologize. I read – or rather was forced to read – Atlas Shrugged a very long time ago, so I did get the reference. Because it is kind of obscure, I chose to respond with a cheap pun… which probably fell as flat as acknowledging anything in the book. When John Galt was a regular on this site, I always wanted to ask him why he chose that screen name, but I never got around to it. In fact, there are several GIMP contributors who's online monikers raise my curiosity. Perhaps in a future poll, Ralphus could ask why we chose the aliases we did, and those who wish to share could do so.

To be fair to Stan, the line tends to vary from time to time. A bigger break from convention is that it is usually shared between Stan and Kyle, though that too can be inconsistent. I saw Poor Cecily in a theater in 1977 and have three different versions on VHS and DVD, so unless there is another cut I'm unaware of, I think I've watched all there is to see in that dungeon sequence, including Uschi alone in the iron cage (which is in all variants). However, you specifically asked whether she is shown “hanging alone on the torture rack”, which is why I replied that there is no such scene in the film.

Easier said than done. Making commercial grade films (even when stretching the definition to include thespian midgets like Franco) require another league of skills, training, experience and equipment. With all due respect to Pedro but they are ill equipped to produce cinema grade material. Not criticizing it, just stating a fact.

If you decide to buy the illusion of a fake whipping, it has to be cinema grade, nothing lower. That's why so many of us prefer ocasional gimpy scenes in real movies to dedicated BDSM tapes.

No offense intended, again. With a budget of a few millions dollars and hiring some of the best cameramen/ sound engineers/ artistic directors/ prop boys/ lighting technicians/ atractive actresses Hungary has and leasing some professional grade equipment you can get close to the target. I'm not sure if Pedro and his people have the resources to pull it through. Real pain was the hook for most of his customers and for that you don't need those millions of dollars.

While I prefer simulated, I doubt he/they can make it at the required quality.

I would go with Isabella's whipping in "Isabella, dutchess of the devils". But I'm always open for new ones. With additions in Pedro's case.
1. Make sure the lights are good (some ambiental, some farther light sources with some diffusers for Pete sake), it's annoying those hard shadows, you only need a filling light on a side or two.
2. Make sure you use a light whip so the henchmen can show physical strain when applying the whip w/o hurting the vic.
3. Add welting effects with moderation. I might anger our radious angel Amy here but I find weird when each lash is producing heavy bleeding effects like when scourging a hemophiliac.
4, Add sweat! Sweat makes or breaks a scene! If you shoot with proper lighting (a principal, two fillers and some directional) chances are your actresses will sweat naturally simply due to the heat of the incandescent bulbs. If not, use an atomizer with anal lubricant.

Well, Fritz, my first real appearance on the Internet was in July, 1999 when I set up my web site, Comic Book Bondage Cover of the Day. I needed a nom de plume, since I did not want to risk being on a job hunt and having a prospective employer learning about my interest in comic books. In response to Fritz and following up erodite, I wish to give a background to my nickname.

It was about 10 years ago that I found a story that is still today one of my favorites. Perhaps some of you have read this as well. It was a story called 'Female POW II, Nightmare in Bosnia' by a gentleman named Conwic.

In this scene, a tall and muscular American female fighter pilot named Valkyrie had been captured by Serbian rebels in Bosnia and is being tortured. More specifically, she is being severely whipped with a makeshift scourge....Okay that AND it involves a breast whipping. This scene made such an impact upon me, I knew right then and there I wanted to adopt the name Scourge to use as my own.

My apologies in advance to those who might object to portions of a story being quoted in a post. I feel I am limiting myself to keep this down to 2 paragraphs but if I don't show at least that, I don't think you would truly get the sense of what is going on and how it affected me.

Pedro - Firstly, let me be clear that I absolutely do not want to see anything non-concensual, under any circumstances. I don't have a problem with the girl actually suffering real pain so long as that's exactly what she was expecting to happen and had signed up for. But ultimately what's important is what ends up on the screen. If the girl is gorgeous, and can act, and the torture appears real to me (which I realise won't necessarily appear real to anyone else) then I don't care how it's been produced.

It seems to me that making a scene that isn't real, but is faked, may bring a lot more opportunities into the frame - but what do I know, I've never made a film in my life, I just like watching babes scream and beg!

Ralphus, so glad you're back. Absolutely love today's GIF image! This new poll question is tough. I'll go for "pushing the limits" and "good acting" so it appears to be relatively non-consensual. Therein lies the fantasy.

As I've already weighed in on the real/fake issue (5227) I'll just supplement now.

One problematic point with genuine whipping in acted movies is that I REALLY LIKE breast whipping/torture and I would imagine that is a difficult (more so than ass) thing to endure in the name of art.

I also have a strong preference for historical (Nazi/Inquisition) settings, a throwback to what excited me when I first discovered erotic sadism in my teens. I know that the reality has little to do with the more modern fiction, but you never forget your first love. If the girl is pretty/busty enough and a decent effort is made, I can forgive a lot. What I can't get past, however are inconsistencies like tattoos, toenail polish, and navel jewelry in a medieval torture chamber.

The final thing is common BDSM play. There is a LOT of it out there, but I'm not into pain for its own sake. If the girl is willingly submitting to the whipping (real), I can't get into it, hence my preference for the appearance of unwillingness (fake, but trying hard) in the setting and acting. A sadism fantasy for me involves a situation impossible (legally and morally) to do, not just require an effort to find.

Well, I just worked my way to December's discussion and saw that almost everything I just said has been already said. Although while I have to agree with Ralphus' statement about changing channels from a real torture scene, I find the idea of combining the Kardasians WITH torture very appealing. As to the other option, I'd rather torture myself (and I'm no masochist) than watch Honey Boo Boo.

I guess this is a Body double scene of actress Ellina McCormick caught and molested from the movie "The Flying Dutchman" A.K.A "Frozen in Fear" released in 2001.

To answer Pedro's question about "real" vs "fake" torture in movies, you have to sell what you're doing as real in order to further get away with doing the fake stuff. Your "History of Pain: Inquisition" film is a good example of this. You established early on the believability of the fake hot iron scene by having real tortures earlier in the film. You "set the stage" and sold your audience that what they were seeing was real. Therefore, you could, theoretically, hire two actresses to endure whippings and other real tortures, and then hire another actress or two to "sell" the fake tortures, such as the classic guillotine scene in "Bloodsucking Freaks". I can only imagine how much fun Mood Pictures would have with a scene like that.

The beautiful blonde’s voice was scarcely audible. “Je ne sais pas… s’il vous plait … je ne sais pas.”

THUMPPP!!! Ramirez, the servile lackey of the tyrannical Duke of Alba, drove his fist into Charlotte’s yielding belly-flesh again, scant inches above her golden-fringed pubic hair.

“Talk, you Belgian whore!” Ramirez growled, as he clenched his fist yet again. “ Or I’m going to start in on those sweet young breasts!”

I finished my clean-up of Melissa and the Good Ralphus just put it up in the fiction section. It actually has two parts, her morning punishment and then an evening's play. Only part one is up now; I found that it took almost as long to polish up old writing as it did to write the thing in the first place. Part two will be up as soon as I finish its clean up.

I really like breasts and I love fantasizing about torturing them, so that's what I write about. Melissa was the first story (more of a scene actually; a story implies a plot) I wrote. Wasn't even planning on it, but once when I looked at a favorite picture of 60's model Michele Angelo, it just popped into my head. I'm attaching the picture here so you can see my inspiration.

The Inquisitor 1 by ElitePain

A review by Thomas Chaser

Last year (2014), ElitePain released History of Pain: The Inquisition, a documentary style film that discussed and demonstrated various tortures used by the Inquisition to ferret out heretics and enemies of the Church and State. Because of the time and expense involved in building the set, and because it’s a great set, ElitePain took over the stage to shoot a series of Inquisition-themed films itself. This is a review of the first of ElitePain’s films. The second film has already been released and I hope to review a copy of it soon.

Inquisitor 1 opens with “Helen” being brought into the holding cell, where “Wendy” is already chained, topless and with her arms overhead, leaving her helpless to protect herself from the pawings of the guard.

After the guard leaves, Helen asks Wendy if she’s seen Helen’s sister. A blonde woman, “Angel”, emerges from the straw and explains what happened to her. This more or less sets up the plot, wherein a cow has lost its milk and the Inquisition blames the women for casting the devil’s eye upon the beast. During the women’s tortures, they are repeatedly asked to confess to contaminating the cow with the devil’s spirit.

Helen is chained to a wall, naked, and breast-whipped with a short flogger. This scene is a bit weak but it makes a good starting point as the intensity of the film builds with subsequent scenes. Angel is next, seated upon the Spanish Horse with her arms tied behind her back as the Inquisitor toys with her breasts. Then, she is bound arms overhead, still seated upon the Spanish Horse, and her breasts are beaten with a leather paddle. Next, the Spanish Horse is removed and she is whipped with a terribly thin whip that leaves nasty, nasty marks. This scene becomes hard to watch; both for its intensity and its length. As she is whipped, the other two captives are forced to watch and their reactions contribute to the overall uncomfortableness of the scene. I have to give credit to “Angel” for staying in-character during this. She is clearly in a lot of pain and agony. If you're into the tortured screams of a woman in pain, you'll really enjoy this scene. It certainly went beyond my limits of humanity.



Next, Helen is stretched on the rack. The rack has always been one of my favorite Inquisition torture devices and this scene is good. While she’s stretched out, Helen is subjected to needle torture, pincers, and a whipping by the same thin whip that horrified Angel. Later in the film there is an interview with Helen that explains that the whipping scene was supposed to be longer, but she couldn't handle the intensity of being stretched, pinched, and then whipped. If I have one complaint about this scene, its that there is no “top-down” overhead view like we got in Mood Pictures’ “History of Pain: Inquisition”. Otherwise, it’s a good scene.



Wendy is next, tied to a large chair with her legs spread wide apart. The implication is obvious. It’s good to see Wendy Gettig back on a Mood Pictures/ElitePain set and she really delivers. She has some of the best facial expressions of any of the actresses in the film and communicates well with her audience. Not too much, not too little. It’s a shame this is her only solo scene.



After Wendy’s interrogation, all three women are bound over the axle of the rack’s windlass, presenting their asses to the Inquisitor. Each woman is beaten with the whip and after she’s received a handful of strokes, she has to name one of the other women to receive the next set of strokes. This gives the torture a psychological component that’s missing in the other scenes and makes for a great climax to the film. The scene is quite long and, as a bonus, there’s footage of this torture at the end of the film where the camera doesn't cut away, so you get to see the whole ass-whipping with the camera focused solely on their asses. I'm not really an ass-whipping type but I did enjoy watching Wendy struggle with which of the other two women she would name to be whipped next, particularly as the beating went on.



As far as casting goes, Wendy is a veteran and knows how to play her role. Angel had me convinced that she was going hysterical with fear. Helen, who has an innocent face, didn't really do anything for me and I'm surprised they'd choose someone with such a cherubic body. But, some guys are into soft women so I can't really judge. Live like you want to live.

The lack of plot didn't help, either. All that for a cow? Why not add that one of the women is the daughter of a wealthy trader and that, really, this whole thing is about disgracing that trader so that the Church can claim his wealth? Or maybe that comes up in the next film. Anyway, it seemed like a lot of trouble over just a cow. To be honest, had ElitePain tacked on an ending where the three women are thrown back into their holding cell and conjure up an evil spirit exact their revenge on the Inquisitor would've been a nice twist. As it is, there really is no ending or epilogue. The movie just ends without resolution of the underlying story. At the very least there should've been a five-second scene where the three women, naked, beaten, and crying, are declared innocent and set free.

As for “re-watchability”, I like to be shocked and horrified. Angel’s scene where she’s whipped is very, very intense and the climax is certainly gut-wrenching as well. It’s a shame Wendy only had one scene to herself but she makes up for it in the climax. The rest of the film is passable, not overly shocking or terrible and certainly lacks a psychological component. So, for that reason, I'm giving this a B.

Thanks for the feedback, guys! It's good to know where my opinions stand in relation to everyone else's because I never really know if I'm judging a film too harshly or too lackadaisically. It helps keep my needle centered.

As for today's picture, I've watched that video on ShackledMaidens.Com. I really hope they re-do that one in HD and make it twice as long, because it's a great vid concept.

Well, after being away for nearly a week, it's taken some time to get caught up on the forum. I've spent the better part of the past 2 days reading the board, downloading videos, checking out the SkatingJesus gallery that Centaurus posted about (man, this guy is good!) in between battling AOL Tech Support to try to get my main browser to do the things it used to be able to do. Yeah, AOL sucks, but I'm used to them.

Before I forget, I want to thank all of you for the kind e-mails and postings to the forum regarding my absence and upon my return. It's nice to be missed, but it's even better to be back among friends. I missed all you degenerate pervs and sick fucks, too. And it's good to see the chatter has continued without missing a beat.

There's way too much for me to cover regarding all the various posts over the past week, but I'll touch on a few.

Regarding Pedro's poll regarding real torture vs realistic looking fake torture, I would vote for both. The recent release History of Pain: Inquisition pulled it off beautifully. The branding scenes, for instance, were obviously not real but were extremely well-done, and they worked well right alongside the very real whipping sequences.



It also allows you more flexibility and a greater variety of tortures than just whipping. I like seeing chicks whipped, but if a movie is only whipping, that's not as interesting to me as a movie that features a number of different types of tortures. That's the very reason why I couldn't wait for HOP-2 but I'm a bit lukewarm on checking out the 2 later "Inquisitor" movies.

Simulated is fine for me, as long as I can believe the fantasy. No one does nonconsensual fantasy films better than ZFX, and they simulate nearly everything. Their whippings don't look as scary and real as a Mood or Elite production, but they don't have to be. This enables Rick to cast fresh-faced, wholesome looking girls who likely are not "into" getting hurt, and he keeps things as realistic-looking as possible with special effects and good acting.

The bottom line is casting. Most pretty girls won't allow themselves to get marked up, and someone like a Nancy that allows harsh abuse is the exception rather than the rule. So rather than casting any average-looking masochist who can take a beating, go instead for cute girls and simulate the tortures instead. It'll improve the quality of your productions.

How did we get our screen names? Well, this might surprise some of you, but I was almost...Sardu! When I came on to the Internet in 1996 (with AOL, I'm a lifer, I guess), I knew I wanted to base my name from Bloodsucking Freaks. But the name Sardu was taken. So I tried Ralphus and guess what? Thomas Chaser: I used to run Rosaleen Young's site many years ago as well as Shackled Maidens.

It was one of the most creative sites of its time as the welding video shows.

The site closed in 2005 at Rosaleen's request but I still have it as well as most of the master files.

I would love to re do this in HD but due to the changes in the stupid UK law I don't think this would be possible.

As I mentioned before here my boyfriend had a large stash of vids and photos from the late 80's up to 2009. Now that we are getting them out of storage it is strange what we've managed to save. One is an interesting flick of yours that has a lady reading "The Ballad of Reading Gaol". Wonderfully esoteric but since this is a GIMP site, wish the lady had been very well shackled.

I've made an observation I would like to share with you and everyone here. It occurred to me that the opening statement should be updated:

Just as you have expanded the original intent of the forum beyond that of being focused on ZFX videos, it has now gone far beyond that with discussion of a multitude of videos, all the various pics and art that are posted, the wide commentary from regulars and a host of others, the multitude and ever-expanding list of stories, interviews, etc.

As time goes by, and with your approval, the forum may expand further yet. This seems to already something that is naturally occurring as the forum seems to have somewhat taken on a life of its own. You may even want to make this into a poll question as you may feel the forum is as much by the people who frequent it as it is yourself.

Thanks again for all your efforts and for hosting this wonderful resource we all appreciate so much.

Sword of Skelos, a Conan Cimmerian book ... the first book that made me read everything else the guy wrote under his own name ... damn, he even included pictures of the torture post.

Let me also thank Covers The Relentless for posting that link about Andrew Offutt. I had no idea he wrote the "Spaceways" serials. I bought one book; the others were just too weird on the alien thing. As for "The Sword of Skelos", its my favorite of the Conan series and I think we all know why. Conan wasn't the only one in that dungeon.

Sharing this vidcap from ElitePain's "The Inquisitor 2" and to add more to the discussion of "real" vs "fake".

"Inquisitor 2" shows that there is a happy ground between being all-real and all-fake. There's no doubt in my mind that the actresses did endure a lot of physical punishment in making this film, but at the same time it wasn't as abusive as the viewer would be led to believe. No fingers were crushed, no legs were broken, but certainly the women were whipped painfully; not with the goal of breaking their spirit but for pushing their limits.

"Catherine" and "Ayleen" are brave for accepting their roles in the film and hopefully the surface welts heal quickly and they are cast in another film, particularly Ayleen (in the pic above) who shows an ability to act. She really played the "bitchy but pretty" arrogant girl very well. She also has a great scream. If this were 1970, she'd have a studio job with Hammer Studios, Paul Naschy, Jess Franco, or Ed Wood. I'd love to see her try a few more Elite Pain or even Mood Pictures movies and stretch her dramatic talents. She could be a terrific Hungarian scream queen.

Regarding Pedro's poll about real torture vs realistic fake torture, I've had some time to think it over. Here's what I think:

I would vote for realistic fake torture, with emphasis on realistic.

Provided the acting, effects, props etc are done right, a realistic fake torture scene should be, by definition, indistinguishable from a real torture scene. Plus, being fake i.e. no actual damage, the producers could show more extreme tortures than otherwise possible.


As a side-note, I tend to think that this is precisely why I (and maybe some others) enjoy CG creations like those of Quoom, SkatingJesus, Arcas: because they can depict extreme scenes (otherwise impossible with current GIMP budgets) and do so realistically enough given current advances in the software.

It is for this reason that I am waiting with great anticipation for the release of a CG movie by one angry_kitten. The trailer is in Arcas's home, at [artofdarkness.nfshost.com]. If it's as good as it promises to be, I could imagine there being studios making GIMP movies entirely via 3D software in 10-15 years.

For Eda: sorry to learn that bastinado is not your thing, but hope you will recognize that one does not generally get to choose one's preferred mode of punishment...and unlike the rack, bastinado was a time-honored technique in Germany that the Nazis adopted...unlike the more photogenic rack. Such is the price of authenticity....

Whatever your personal preferences, I hope you'll still include bastinado in some of your stories (which are fabulous in their dramatic development and intensity). I hope one of our local film makers considers developing a script from one.

Thank you. The one here is a substantial rewrite to clean up what was hurried and careless prose. It was up (and may still be) on BDSMArtwork, but that was the 15-year old version, similar only in situation and characters. Besides the minor kick of seeing my stuff on the internet, I was largely fishing for an artist who felt inspired enough to do a few illustrations. I also did Annetje, Dawn, and Alice, all historical, and all of which I'm cleaning up for GIMP.

Arcimboldo was an friend who graciously did one image of Melissa. Stig was also kind enough to add 3 of his freehand drawings. Arcimboldo's is up here. If I can figure out how to upload more than one image at a time, I'll put up Stig's.

Again, thanks for the kind words. Unlike the other excellent authors here, I was too lazy to be bothered by plot considerations, so I just described a scene of sadistic torture in the gradual way I fantasize about.

Ed, you are way too tough on yourself (recognizing that artists of one kind or another usually are). I loved the Melissa story before, so there is every reason to believe that you will have only made a good story even better.

Posting more than one picture at a time can be accomplished by sending the post and multiple pictures for that post directly to Ralphus and he will see to get it all posted.

Yeah, I'm in (for whatever it is). I admit to being a major fan of breast whipping, especially real, untrammeled (never was a fan of turning luscious dancing flesh into purple bolt-ons by tying them), attractive and in an attractive overall package. So the images Klingsor recently posted, while technically in my ballpark, were really WAY out of it! Still, I always look, even if I choose not to save.

You may be coming back around to the threads question (god help us) from a different direction. Short of making sure that there is a plethora of what we like in the group's images, I'm not sure what will really be different, but in any case, I'm in!

A number of folks have explained the provenance of their screen names in recent days, so I thought I would do the same.

Many of you probably know that Giovanni Boccaccio was a fourteenth century Italian writer whose famous "Decameron" was a wide-ranging collection of stories, many of them bawdy, supposedly recounted by travelers who were fleeing the plague then ravaging medieval Florence. GB also left one of the most vivid historical accounts of the dreadful effects of the Black Death on his city. Fortunately he survived, but thousands died.

But there have been many writers of more or less erotic tales down through history. Why Boccaccio?

Well, when I went away to college in the mid 1960's, one of the weekly cinema offerings put on by the college was "Boccaccio '70" a trilogy of erotic tales directed, IIRC, by three different European directors. The first starred the recently deceased Anita Ekberg, and the third starred a sexy Sophia Loren.

The middle tale of the trilogy, starred a very lovely Romy Schneider, and it featured what I believe was the first nude scene I had ever seen in a film.

The scene (or possibly scenes) was very brief, but it sure made an impression on this young student.

Catch of the day. Zombie Doom, 2002. A classic gorefest, highly unrecommended for anyone but the most hardcore genre loving.

Vintage looking AOH followed by some odd animatronic attack. It doesn't make sense, I know. It doesn't make sense even if you watch the movie.

For you breast whipping fans

Hello all. I've just been lurking here for a while and thought I'd dip my toe in the water. First, I thoroughly enjoy the discussions here. As someone who is basically an observer as opposed to a practitioner, it's refreshing to see dialogue without all the bravado and online personnae that is common everywhere else. And as someone whose initiation to BDSM was through the HOM publications of the early 70's and 80's, it's nice to see the mention of some of those luscious models now and then. The indelible mark they left on my psyche is the steadfast belief that the proper uniform for a whipping is stiletto heels, thigh-high hosiery, and a garter belt. :)

To address the recent topic of real or fake torture - my comfort zone runs fairly mild when it comes to visuals (if you can describe electro-torture, full body whipping, and restrained rape as "mild" :) So in those parameters I like enough realism to at least make the suspension of disbelief an easy hurdle. Of course the actress' projection of pain is essential to this. Mutilations, impalement, etc. aren't that much of a stimulant for me and generally set off latent moral reservations if not obviously faked.

Real is best but hard to find outside the whipping sites. The issue of trading real or acted with better looking models is an interesting one. For me better looking models gets the edge. For over the top pain illustration works, Arcas and Damian being examples. If you want to see real electro check out infernal restraints Curious Eloise it is the best of the best.

The Inquisitor 2 by ElitePain

After watching ElitePain's wonderful documentary History of Pain: Inquisition and writing a review about it, I watched ElitePain’s follow-on movie that used the same set: The Inquisitor 1 and wrote a review of that film as well. Now that ElitePain has released its second movie in the Inquisitor series, I figured I might as well do a review of it to keep things current.

First off, let me say that the one of the major shortcoming of the first Inquisitor film is addressed in this second film – the plot. This film has a longer introductory scene to it that lays out a more complicated plotline that requires the lead actress to actually act, and she does a very decent job of it. The main character is a noblewoman whose husband is away with his forces on a campaign. As she prepares for her day, there is a clattering of hooves outside her chamber and the Inquisitor enters the scene. Nobody expects the Inquisition! He immediately seizes the noblewoman’s handmaid and arrests the noblewoman on a charge of witchcraft, throwing them both in his dungeon unless she confesses, in which case the Church will seize the assets of her castle and implicate her husband. That sets up the film to be a test of wills, which gives the tortures a nice psychological peril.

Second, the actresses in this film are much more camera-friendly than the ones in the first Inquisitor film (not to take anything away from Wendy Getig, who also starred in The Milgram Experiment and FEAR). The actress playing the noblewoman Lady Ayleen is extremely fetching, with perfect breasts and washboard abs. She can also act the haughty aristocrat very well. You'll love her. You'll hate her. You'll love to hate her. She does “bitchy pretty” better than any other Elite Pain actress yet. The actress playing the handmaid (“Catherine”) is no slouch either. She can hold her own in her scenes, and is lovely to watch writhing under the whip.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

As I said, the movie opens with the noblewoman being attended to by two of her maids – Giuletta (the guard in History of Pain: Military Interrogation and a victim in History of Pain: Inquisition) and Catherine – when the Inquisitor arrives and arrests them all. To protect her estate, Lady Ayleen agrees to go with the Inquisitor to address the charges while the two maids are thrown into the cell together. This is the last we see of Giuletta.

In the next scene, Catherine is shown the instruments to be used against her: the Spanish Boot for crushing her leg bones and drilling screws into the marrow, a vice for crushing fingers and ripping fingernails off, assorted whips, and a candle for burning her skin. She’s quickly stripped and chained to the wall, given a quick examination to find the devil’s mark, and then subjected to the first instrument of torture – fire. This goes quickly with some scorching under her right arm and breast before the candle is extinguished against her Mound of Venus, which brings a yelp of agony from the helpless girl.



Next comes a whipping across her hips and thighs. This instrument is vicious! It leaves welts almost instantly and Catherine is obviously in a lot of pain. Yet, the actress stays in character during this scene, which goes on for quite a long time. If I have one complaint, though, it’s that her legs aren't restrained. Shortly after I made that realization, she got a pop across her vagina and yanked her hand loose from the wrist shackle as well. That could've been corrected with creative editing (or better cuffs). Still, the actress is fetching to look at and reacts well to the whip. Her whipping ends when she passes out.

When she wakes up, they give her a chance to admit that her mistress Lady Ayleen is in league with the devil, but Catherine refuses so her whipping continues. When this doesn't work, the Inquisitor breaks out the cane and goes to work on her legs until, once again, she passes out.



They revive her by wetting her wounds with salt water, then they turn her around and cane her ass. This final torture breaks her spirit and she confesses against her mistress. Lady Ayleen is promptly arrested and subjected to her first torture: the finger press. Afterwards, she’s forced to strip. Proud and defiant, she complies rather than have her clothes cut away like a commoner.



She’s then subjected to the Spanish Boot. The actress does an excellent job selling the scene and has a great “agony scream” as she’s subjected to the torture. It’s a good scene and not one you see very often. After being subjected to the thumb press and the Spanish Boot, Lady Ayleen is chained to the wall. She’s shown the collection of whips and given the opportunity to confess, but her will is strong. She won't confess. Her whipping begins.



The actress does a great job with this scene, starting out as defiant and strong, then slowly breaking down as she succumbs to the pain. I must admit that she has a great body for this position, too. Firm, natural breasts and flat, tight tummy. Her abs are excellent! This screenshot is from early in her mistreatment, before things got really gory. It seems almost a shame to destroy such a beautiful body, don't you think?



The tears are real, and as the scene goes on, she works up a really nice glistening sweat. It’s a long scene and she endures a lot of abuse, but the actress never breaks character and stays in her role. It’s a very powerful scene and definitely worth the price of the movie.



After what seems like an eternity of whips and screams, she’s turned around so that the Inquisitor can go to work on a nice fresh side. She’s whipped thoroughly across her back; with each blow her resistance weakens but she does not break.



Finally, the Inquisitor grows impatient and pulls out another instrument of terror.

The cane.

The work with this instrument is brief but effective, and she’s reduced to hanging limply from the iron hoops binding her arms, but her ordeal isn't over. She’s released from the wall and placed on her back, her hands cuffed underneath her as her legs are spread wide and tied apart, exposing her tender vagina. You know where this is going. The Inquisitor toys with her body with the business end of a riding crop, probing her with questions, giving her opportunities to avoid this final humiliation, but she refuses to speak. Then he begins.



Fresh sweat forms on her skin as she endures her abuse. She’s strong but still she screams out with each blow to her pussy. Her sex twitches with each gasp and her mound turns an angry red, yet she still does not surrender. Finally, the Inquisitor stops. She’s won.

End of movie.

As a bonus, there are two “behind the scenes” features. The first is the maid being whipped across her hips. The actress suddenly screams and pulls her hand out of the shackles and asks for a brief break. Giuletta (I think) comes over to check on her, concerned that maybe she hit something she shouldn't have. Catherine says she'll be alright; just needs a second to cool off.

The second “behind the scenes” clip is of Lady Ayleen being whipped on her back. Apparently the actress got caught between a cough, a scream, and a gasp and started to breathe too quickly, causing the risk of hyperventilation. Max tells her to slow down, breathe deep, and he confers with her to make sure she’s ok. She’s a trooper and explains that it hurt, but she’s ok and ready to continue. What I like about this is that it shows that, no matter how brutal it looks in the story, there are safeguards in place and that it is all (sort of) pretend. You don't get that feeling when you watch the film, so it’s good to see it in these out-takes.

My deepest respect goes to the two actresses cast in this film, but more goes to “Lady Ayleen” who suffered more tortures, longer and harder. She has a fantastic body and is a decent actress. Her casting as the lead character is well-deserved. If there’s one thing I wish had been done differently with her was that she had been mounted on the rack (which is absent in this film). She has a body that would have looked wonderful stretched out between the windlasses. Hopefully she'll be cast in another Inquisitor film and this omission can be corrected.

Another shortcoming to the film was that both the maid and the noblewoman were mounted to the wall with half-assed metal hoops around their legs. The wrist cuffs and chains around their arms were fine, but the ankle hoops were useless. The Inquisitor couldn't afford a set of leg cuffs and another length of chain for the prisoners’ ankles?

As with most ElitePain films, this one is subtitled and some of the subtitles are misspelled or structured with poor grammar. I would be more than happy to proof-read future movies. You listenin’, Max?

For fans of the genre looking for a typical Inquisition-exploitation film, this is a good one. Lady Ayleen’s frontal whipping alone is worth the cash just for its re-watchability. There are some shortcomings, as I've noted above, so the film isn't perfect, but it is better than The Inquisitor 1 in casting, plot, and drama. A perfect score for Lady Ayleen’s scenes, but a sine wave for everything else. Therefore, even though I'm giving the film a B+, Lady Ayleen commands that you add it to your Inquisition film collection.

I dunno, I don't think the mission statement needs to be changed. I agree we've expanded over the years, specifically a few years back with the GIMP Fiction section. And with the user-friendly new forum we have, we've gotten a lot more people posting artworks and videos. But we're not an artwork or a story specialty site, where people post their works and people comment directly on them. From day one, our focus has always been about videos and movies, and that's the way I prefer it, and the way it will continue as long as I'm the one running the board. The extra stuff is great, and it's a natural offshoot from the discussions we have. But it's the opinions, reviews and shared experiences from others about the movies they've seen is what makes this board special.

That's been updated and added to both the Torture Rack and Hot Iron databases. I've slowly been updating a number of the previous videos you've posted that Vimeo trashed.

Speaking of your recent uploads, what the hell was Zombie Doom? Not in the IMDB. I was kinda shocked when I read the release date was 2002. Maybe released in 2002, but it looks more like it was filmed in the 1970s, what with the lack of sync sound and the 16mm visual look of the film. Plus the women definitely looked like they came from that era. Still a nice little curio. If I were just starting out and making a student film, I would be proud to call that one my own.

Also, one you uploaded while I was away was Street of a Thousand Pleasures (Post 5295). No one else commented, but I kind of enjoyed this one. Some of those old 1970s nudie cuties had a cheesy charm to them, particularly in the over-the-top dubbed-in dialogue ("Look, these girls are naked! They're so beautiful. This one is tied!). It's kind of a kick seeing what passed for bondage erotica back in the day. I guess I just like old stuff like that.

Yet another reader who got his initiation to bondage from Blakemore's work with HOM. His stuff really was good, wasn't it? There were other bondage publications back then, but his stuff really stood out as being so much more harsh, so much more mean than anything I had ever seen. As has been discussed before, I'm not into ElitePain's approach to film-making. But it's good to see The Inquisitor series has improved for those who do enjoy these films.

Miela makes a fine victim; young and pretty. Nice breasts for the whip, also, good shape and size and two qualities I greatly admire: nice jiggle and erect nipples. Here she also illustrates how simply stripped to the waist is sufficient for a very pleasurable scene. And while welts would be nice, it's easy for me to imagine her as a new prisoner falsely accused of minor rule violations by the sadistic guards.

Another obscure one. For me, this was the epiphany picture. Cover art from a Tortura Press paperback named Buccaneer's Boundage [sic] written by Amboy Troutt (really). I was a HS kid whose only images of sadistic breast whipping was Playboy and a fertile imagination, I walked/snuck into an adult book store and saw this! I immediately assumed an awkward stance, but this showed me I wasn't alone in my fantasy.

In the hands of one of those wonderful story writers here at The GIMP Forum, Juliet would then be abducted by someone from the Montague family and then subjected to long, arduous and horrific torture, not the least of which would include numerous scenes of excruciating breast whippings.

It's funny how even in our unusual love (or lust) for the extreme fantasy of seeing females being tormented, so many of us specialize in seeing one type of torture over another. My favorite, and the favorite of a number of others is seeing breasts slapped, whipped, flogged and caned. Why do we like this so much?

Do we have something against breasts??? Absolutely NOT! We love breasts!!!


I believe I speak for all in this select group of mammary maulers (now that's a term I do not believe Boccaccio has used in his stories) when I say we all love and adore breasts. Some like them large, some like them small. Some want them natural while others are more pleased to see various degrees of augmentation. Saturday I took matters into my own hands (matters, not breasts) and I put together a small listing of those posters at the GIMP who have expressed that same lust as me in seeing breasts lashed. I would like to welcome Spike to our ranks as well as our esteemed fearless leader, Ralphus. In addition, I am pleased to add our first female to our little group, Mwb. And as a side note, Mwb, I think your ass is just fine.

Thanks to those of you who have added posts in response to what I wrote yesterday. I loved them all. As I am sure everyone else did too. Keep them coming (said tongue-in-cheek)!

So now the question is what do we call this little group? I initially called it the Breast Beaters Bunch although not everyone has taken to that name. TLC (Tit Lasher's Club) is a name petelobo came up with--similar to Mwb's Tit Whipping Club, but with a cute hook of the initials TLC.

I have participated in the creation and management of a number of groups over the years at Google Groups and Yahoo Groups. One of the Google Groups is named Full Frontal Floggings and so to borrow from that, I propose an alternate name for our little group as Full Frontal Floggers.

Last for today (don't want to overdo) from another different vintage artist. He did a lot for RDF Co out of NY; never have been able to ID him, but I do admire the way his mind worked.

For the record, I don't care much about group name or group at all. I just love seeing nice bare breasts getting whipped.

Two films every breast-whipping fan should have in the library are from SpankingMachine.com (linked above). Get "Celine 2" and "Caprice 3". You can read my review of "Celine 2" in the Reviews section of the GIMP forum and I've included some stills from "Caprice 3" above.

What I like about "Caprice 3" is, first of all, the victim is hot as shit. Second, she has nipples that are begging to be stroked, rubbed, bitten, and whipped. Third, she has some of the best facial expressions I've seen in any video. It's difficult to read the text accompanying the photograph, but when I made out the name 'Vanessa' I remembered the novel that that illustration accompanied. Although strangely, I don't remember the illustration. I must have read a different edition (or maybe I've just forgotten the illustration).

In any event the novel was about a young woman in the Victorian era who found herself in a Balkan country, (Ruritania, mentioned in the graphic, was the fictional land in which The Prisoner of Zenda is set) and somehow she ends up being accused of a crime (spying, I think).


For her offense, Vanessa is sentenced to be flogged in front of the battallion. She is paraded, by Gerda and some of the cadets to the scaffold and during one part of a very extended flogging scene, she is given ten or twelve lovingly described lashes across her beautiful bare breasts. The breast-whipping was drawn out over three or four pages, an unheard of feast for an episode of that kind.

I can't remember the name of the book but it was by A. de Granamour, who wrote a series of flogging/birching/paddling novels, many of them set in historical settings. (Not sure, but I think he was the same guy who wrote the books under the name 'Marcus Van Heller.' And I'm pretty sure he also wrote a number of hand-spanking novels using the pseudonym 'Richard Harding' (or something like that)

The titles using the de Granamour pseudonym were,to my taste, by far the best. He was easily my favorite author of erotica. Most of the time he focused his flagellations on shapely backsides, but in the book in question, he delivered what was perhaps my favorite breast-flogging passage ever (in a formally published book.)

He was a very strong influence on my own style. I've never been able to find out much about him.

To those who are interested, Ed broke M. de Granamour's 3-4 page-long breast-flogging record by many pages at least twice. Both "Melissa" and "Alice" are very severely dealt with indeed.

I should have added that fellow member Williej has also exceeded the length of M. de Granamour's superb 3-4 page breast-flogging scene by a considerable margin in at least three of his fine stories.

Yes, I remember A. deGranamour. He didn't spend as much time on tits as asses, but when he did, he did it right. If I recall correctly there were two "pirate-themed" novels in the Tortura Press catalogue in the 1970's.

The Tortura Press offerings were a mixed bag, as I recall.

About a third of them were female dominant or alternated between m/f and f/m, which I didn't much care for. And there were quite a few, which were too over the top for me -- burning, flaying, breasts being gouged with hooks, that sort of thing. Excessive force, from my point of view.

The first one I picked up (it was probably about 20 minutes after I turned 18) had a title something like "Slave of the Mongols," and the cover featured a really wicked-looking 'Khan' of some sort. I think he was tormenting or terrorizing one or more Asian beauties.

At the time I thought that one was too rough for my tastes; I'm not sure if I would feel the same way today or not.

There were at least two westerns in the series, and they were rough, but sociopath rough not psychotic rough. I have to confess that the villains in those books probably influenced Black Jack Slocum and Ernie 'the Weasel' Gibbs, the two nasty varmints who torment an assortment of beauties in my two "Big Jake" westerns.

But the story I, um, returned to most often was titled "Carny Whip" or something like that. It was about some low-life carny types, and there were several breast flogging/punishment scenes that really warmed the cockles of my heart. Or warmed the heart of my cockles -- one of those.

Well its late Sunday and I'm bored. So I started reading from page 55 when the new forum board started right about this time last year. Ralphus and Amy, thanks for saving the GIMP so that souls like me can have a place to hang out on a boring Sunday. It may have been because of the reset but I didn't see any Valentines' Day thoughts last year. So, I hope you don't mind if I sneak in this short bit.

I just finished it and frankly I did enjoy it. While the ilustrations were distracting to me (as I said, I have a vivid imagination that works better to me) the narative was solid. A bit frugal at times (compared to other efforts of yours) probably due to the size of the project yet enjoyable.

You know, that's something I really like about your writings. You try always to break the molds, to do new things, to explore new avenues. Most of the writers out there have an easy identifiable writing pattern and stay within their comfort zone. Not you. Kudos.

Apropos of two topics: breast whipping and Pedro's consideration of faking it.

Several people have suggested that faking stuff like branding, spanish boots, etc. works if you have established that the whipping is real. I'm fine with that formula (since the other stuff is of little interest to me.) Just don't take away the models like Mary who pay the price one or two times and become legends (at least in my imagination).

That's the guy and he produced many 10 - 12 card (3 x 5) art sets of sadism, many multipart stories. Yes, very nasty, and yes, very good. At one time I had most of them, all from RDF--so possibly 200 cards. For a while I worked out a method of using multiple trips to a magnifying Xerox, white-out, and evolving skill with good colored pencils to make them better. I never could draw faces, but found I could augment breasts and add pale skin, pink nipples, tan lines, and red whip welts fairly well at the end.

He was one of a very few artists who embraced the pleasure the torturer could experience being naked with his victim--his images of a gleeful whipper sporting an erection are with me still. He just vanished when RDF did, suddenly and completely.

I'll contact you about The Fiends and the Three Strippers. I have managed to track down a few sets of his, but there're a lot more still missing. With just the Fiends (aptly named sadists) there was the Society Hostess and the Secret Service Agent, soon screaming young women all.

Alas, RDF is gone with the wind. I suspect the environment turned against them. The Fiends series had 3 parts, though an artist called Semaj did an alternative to the third part. There were two other sets that were equally intense: The Fiends and the Secret Service Agent (I have parts 1 & 2 but am missing the concluding part 3) and The Fiends and the Society Hostess (I only have part 2). I'd love to get the missing parts, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I sent RDF a question about the missing parts back in the '70's, and they said that the artist was from Britain, and they did not have the missing parts. Note: The above didn't include the other sets the artist did, such as "Ruritanian Discipline," which focused solely on whipping rather than full-fledged torture.

When going through my RDF stuff for the list, I also discovered that I had five of the old Mutrix booklets already scanned: Captured Princess, Painful Persuader 1 & 2, and Kidnapped for Pain 1 & 2. To those who don't know, these were 5 X 8, glossy paper, obviously typewritten and stapled efforts. Most were femdom/shemale (ugh!). The writing is almost uniformly execrable, but 3 are illustrated, 1 by the RDF guy. Also yours for the (patient) asking.

One note: When going through my RDF stuff, I saw a few story plates that featured underage (14 yrs) victims. Things might have been looser back then, but I don't do that shit. Those images were immediately deleted, so don't expect their inclusion.

Not the actual whipping, no. At the bottom of the post is the clip with what I have. Actual whipping might be in a even more 'uncut' version. The one I had initially was the 2007 DVD release, with about 19 minutes cuts, then Honorable Ralphobis pointed me toward a less edited one (nipple and eyeballs sliced with a razor blade) but even that did not contain any whipping.

As a general disclaimer, I'm looking mostly for bondage, interrogation scenes preferably with nudity. When the blood start flowing freely I'm already looking for the FAST FORWARD button. That's me. My edits don't contain as a general rule hackings and slashings. I'm saying that to save bandwidth for the gore-hounds. It's not one of my buttons, sorry. RDF: I bought quite a lot of RDF material in the late 1980's. As I recall, they did not ship outside of the US at the time, but as I was doing a lot of business travel back then, I rented a PO box in New York and had my orders sent there. To best make use of this investment, I probably bought more than I should have. Much of what I received was disappointing (especially the videos), and as a result, a good deal has been pruned over the years.

That said, I did hang on to the The Fiends series – all parts of Three Strippers (including both versions of set 3) , the first two sets of Secret Service Agent, and the second of Society Hostess. I also have four parts of a story called Gwendoline in (sic) Sin Island by an artist named Tom Ripple. I think this series is complete as (spoiler) poor Gwen seems to be dead by the final panel. Here are two frames from this set…


I may have other illustrated RDF stories in storage, but these are the ones I deemed worthy of keeping in my main collection. I also have a batch of photos and drawings from RDF. They were sold as sets in the same "4 by 5" photo reproduction format as the story series, but if any are part of a sequence, this is not readily apparent.

I recently did discover that what I thought were a half dozen disjointed pictures in separate sets (but obviously drawn by the same artist), were in fact part of a 57 page comic which, though typically crude, is quite astonishing – especially when you consider that it likely was created in the 1960's or early 70's. I found this series (which I suspect is still missing some frames) on a Japanese Hentai site of all places.

It's clearly European (the text is in both Dutch and German), and the title translates as A Woman's Screams from the Orient – an odd choice as the action takes place entirely in the Middle East. Like most of the artwork RDF sold, this comic series has a fumetti-like minimalism, but makes up for lack of polish with sheer, go-for-broke sadism.

It depicts the story of a busty, female spy who is caught by her turban-wearing adversaries. She is brutally interrogated until she gives up her accomplice, then manages to briefly escape before being recaptured and sentenced to death. She endures ever more vicious tortures until at last her sentence is carried out in a truly heinous fashion. This is rough stuff even today, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was sold under the counter to special customers when it was first available…




It's on my project list to get this rare classic cleaned up and translated into English. If anyone knows more about it, especially the name of the artist, please let me know.

As for Mutrix books, I too came across a bunch of these while scouring my hardcopy material. The titles include…

• Kingdom of Pain (illustrated with a few lame bondage photos)
• Kingdom of Pain 3 (with so-so drawings and more lame photos)
• Torment Alter (brutal story; lousy pics)
• Girl Hostage (with great Eneg art)
• The Agents of Sadism (ditto)

I'm not sure if these are worth scanning, but one Mutrix-like digest called Temple of Terror did stand out from the others. It's written by Turk Winter (who thanks to Covers' link in post 5337 was revealed to be quite the GIMP pioneer), and illustrated by deMulatto, whom most of us have heard of. I definitely need to put this one on my digitizing list.

All that came of this was my discovering that almost no one under 40 knows who Fritz the Cat is.

I found a paperback cover tonight that I think a certain someone on the GIMP board will appreciate: The Killer (1951).

A lot of interest here in a company that sank without a trace 30 years ago. I'm glad my memories of RDF stuff are shared. As I said, I'm happy to share what I have with others who appreciate it. There have already been some requests in my email and I'll get to them as quickly as time permits.

One question of a more general nature. I've seen some posts here (like that of Fritz 5435) where there is some commentary, an image or 2, more commentary, then another image or 2. I have some ideas for future posts here, but haven't figured out how to do that. It's probably very simple (most things are when you know how), but so far it hasn't been intuitive enough for me. If anyone is willing to supply an answer, please let me know at my email.

Ed: The last time I bought anything from RDF was early in 1990, so they survived at least five years longer than you think. I doubt they were around much after that though.

As for imbedding multiple pictures in a single post and interspersing text between them, you'll need to manually add HTML code. Just Google “imbed images with HTML”, and you'll pull up dozens of tutorials. Here is one which provides the most basic info before getting into the myriad parameters.

The R.D.F. Company: I first found about them when I bought a used copy of the 1978 Bondage Buyers Guide & Almanac from my roommate's bookstore in the mid 1980s (among the first bondage mags I ever read). It's quite a neat time capsule of the era; featuring all the players in the bondage industry at the time, and nearly all of them, not surprisingly, gone now.

Anyway, what struck me about the R.D.F. Company was the somewhat disapproving description the magazine wrote about them:

Flagellation and torture, and other forms of sado-masochism are what R.D.F. Company is all about. Again, the bondage here is only a means to another end. Their films, photos and artwork show almost exclusively the plight of young women who have been bound and restrained so that they can be subjected to a holocaust of torture.

It vaguely reminded me of the attitude that Adult Video News had about ZFX years later, acknowledging them as a bondage company but sort of looking down on them because they didn't play nice like everyone else and dared to show women being tortured. Like that's a bad thing.

Anyway, a few years back, Covers posted a link here to a PDF file that showed RDF's catalogue. It's got that seedy, underground look to it, like this is the place to look if you want to see the really rough stuff that's not available in stores. I'll tell you, if I were a young man in my 20s reading this catalogue for the first time, you can bet I would be drooling and saving up my money to order some of the items on this list. Fritz: I'm sorry to read that you were mostly disappointed in the RDF videos. I've seen only 2 that I know of, one which was completely forgettable, but another called The Runaway (vidcap above) was really good, and about as hard as anything Blakemore put out around the same era. I'm old enough to remember an RDF catalog I saw decades ago. I even found & bought one of the films, Captured Agent, on VHS tape on 42nd street when that was a Mecca for perverts. I bought all the Blakemore series back then as well, recognizing what gems they were. Unfortunately, the Captured Agent tape broke in several places from frequent viewing and was unsalvagable. I did see it once somewhere on the Web, but don't remember where. Boy, that catalog brought back memories! Thanks.

The late 70's to early 80's were my most energetic, pre-Internet porn accumulation years and RDF was the major contributor. I vaguely recall another company, Wide World or World Wide Enterprises with similarly themed offerings; they were out west somewhere. There was an ad for RDF in an old BDSM monthly newspaper named Fetish Times (one "headline" was "More Terrible Tit Torture!", the RDF ad billed itself with "Dark and luscious terrors of the dungeon and the whip!" That was all it took for me. I never saw that they had VHS, but I stopped buying from them around 1985/6 when I got engaged. Their stuff was certainly crude by today's standards, but it was about the only source of extreme sadism around and the "seedy underground quality" mentioned by Ralphus gave it a vicious nonconsensual look that appealed even more than Blakemore's stuff. (No offense, B; just personal taste.)

Another old favorite. Simple manip technique, but 1) I love dungeon scenes, especially with the girl face up on the rack and 2) the way their breasts stick out/up you know they're going to be the center of attraction--there's the look on the one on the stairs face at the realization that her blouse was shredded away for whipping, not pre-rape groping. All I know of the artist is the word "kopie" and a reference to "Dungeon of terror."

My apologies, Canadian, for assuming you were a breast whipping enthusiast as opposed to just a general whipping enthusiast.

Given the choice I will always go for the frontal whipping. Having the lash crack against breasts makes it even better in my opinion.

To Ralphus: Wow, that info and product list from RDF really takes me back. I remember buying things from Star Distributors in NY, and I recall that their catalogs were similar looking. Also bought books from Greenleaf Library in San Diego and mags from HOM while in college. I had to have a few "purges" when we moved to a new job, so I lost a lot of things over the years. Younger folks will never know how difficult it was in those days to get this kind of material, much less to produce and distribute it. Much better nowadays.

Ralphus - that RDF catalogue made fascinating, and very arousing, reading. Like you I love the grungy look of those older films. I think their loop titled "The Traitress" is available in the Vintage Punishments section of Clips4Sale as "Horror and Torture", mixed in with the Erotic Perversion titles.

I've recently been enjoying some (legal) downloads from the Futile Struggles website. They remind me a lot of the old HOM films with their emphasis on great gags, tight crotch ropes and brutal hogties. The connection was confirmed for me when you hear the old HOM music playing in the background of the FS film Pepper's Ordeal. His tying can be a bit predictable but I like the fact that there's no sexual release for the girl, just bondage and pain. Are you a fan? Do you know much about him?

The RDF catalog - terrific stuff. Completely new to me, though some of it comes from somewhere else.

"Torture and Rape" (137) is the European loop called "Secret Spanking Cult".

"The Traitress" (159) seems to be a Blakemore loop that's easy to find.

Some of the photo sets are from the Erotisk Tvang - Forced Sex series from Europe.

Go to the link I've posted. There you can find their clips organized by type (breast whipping, pussy whipping, full-body whipping, etc). The packages are all downloads for 12 Euro (usually 8-9 clips. Miela's is in the HD1 Full Body. I have all but the latest breast whipping, and they are generally 70% or better worth having (remember I don't like fake breasts that don't respond to the whip). When you find a model you like, you can also sort the material by model name.

I just read Osouk's new story, SOPHIE. Naturally, I put myself in the position of his title character, a French journalist revealing to the world the horrible treatment of women captives in the third world country to which she had been assigned. A dangerous situation, yes. A brave woman, definitely.

But OMFG. I was not prepared for her plight, which Osouk sets up beautifully. Just hearing her captors tell her what they are going to do to her sent such shivers through my body that I would have been begging to tell them anything they asked before they even laid a hand on me. Phew. I was so happy to be able to look up at the end of the story to see that my outstretched arms were not really chained and that I had the power to walk away from the page, at least physically if not mentally. An option not available to Sophie herself.

And it's a relatively short story so it doesn't take much time to read (even with pauses for imagining). Definitely recommended.

There is a new Lifetime movie coming out on the Cleveland Abductions. It features Taryn Manning and Samantha Droke. Droke is a little hottie formerly of the Disney Stable, who has had a few bit parts but nothing significant. Elkcreek: Wow, great find on that Cleveland Abduction movie. Brought to you by Lifetime...Television for Women. You know, the network that empowers women by constantly portraying them in their movies as victims being raped, abducted, committed to mental hospitals, sexually harassed, abused, you name it. So naturally, the Ariel Castro story is perfect for them. I agree, their films are a bit on the light side, but Jesus, a hogtied woman suspended from the ceiling? It's already a must-see based on that.

I took a look at the casting. 3 pretty nice looking women in the roles of the 3 victims, but it seems rather odd to have Taryn Manning, who's 36 and has seemingly been around forever, taking on the lead role of Michelle Knight, who was 21 when she was captured. She's the only real "name" among the cast, so maybe Lifetime is using her as way to headline the production. Like the story itself wouldn't bring out the masses to begin with, very strange.

And going from something new to something old...but likely something few have ever seen. A few weeks back, our relentless friend Covers posted one half of an inside scan from Man's Book, March 1972. Sloth commented about the story it was taken from and it led to Covers asking if it were available. The answer is undoubtedly yes...it was one I was working on back before my computer virus hit and I was offline for a week.
