I think we can wrap it up. I'm taking the poll question down. It was never a question of whichever side wins gets a database. The fact of the matter is I just wanted to see if there was any kind of interest in a Hot Iron Database. To make it interesting I ran it up against Rape to find out what people thought and what they really wanted to see. My guess was that rape would blow everyone away and there might be a handful of votes from people interested in the Hot Iron thing. But after over 3 weeks, what surprised me is that there truly are a lot of Hot Iron fans out there, and they like the idea so much they outvoted Rape fans. That tells me that such a database is a worthwhile project. I've already gotten to work on a list.

It doesn't mean that a Rape Database is a dead idea. We had one before, and I'm much further along on that project than the other one. Eventually, we'll have that back online, too. It's just a lot of work.

The reason Fair Game isn't in our Torture Rack Database is because it doesn't qualify as either a rack scene or a suspension scene. The whole purpose of that database is to highlight scenes where the woman is tortured by either being stretched or by hanging by her own body weight. I consider Cassandra Delaney's predicament more of a spread-out bondage position as opposed to something along those lines. It is a great mainstream scene, however. It would be cool to hear her talk about filming that scene on the DVD commentary, if they ever release something like that.

I personally think it was a good idea for JJ to edit the movie for theatrical release for just the reasons you mentioned. So my question is, when it comes to ordering the movie in the future, will there be a "GIMP Release" and a "General Audience Release?" There will definitely be folks who want the all-torture all-the-time approach (most of the readers of this forum, I suspect), but surely there will be others who want the more tightly edited version. Please be sure to clarify which version is which. It was also pretty cool to read that Ralphus is getting his own re-edited fire scenes.

I will refrain from weighing in on the reality vs fantasy discussion, except to say that I'm sure it resembles a sliding scale with extremes that are well-defined but a lengthy continuum that is highly subjective. Logically, though, any fantasy that is acted out has become a reality to a certain extent simply by virtue of having been done. The dividing line is all in the mind.

Elkcreek: I also appreciate your mini-review of GEXP-60, although it sounds like more of the same JAV-wise. I do love a good AOH scene, although I am not so much a fan of punching, so I don't know whether this one would work for me.

I agree with Ralphus that Cassandra Delaney's exceptional spread-eagle bondage on the front of the truck isn't a "rack" scene, although I concede that it could be debated otherwise. But wow what a great scene that was, and remains to my way of thinking one of the best and most unexpected GIMP bits in a mainstream movie.

Insomniac: Thanks for the illustrated review of Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf. It is always good to know that there is one good GIMP scene in a movie. It was armed with that knowledge that I prowled the video store shelves back in the day, renting an entire potentially useless video just to collect the single GIMP bit buried in it. I will keep an eye out for this one, although I don't think I will be investing the time to watch it all the way through.

I am completely unexcited about Suffer For Your Art, primarily because the Poser-style illustrations and movies just don't do it for me. I might even go so far as to say that if cinematic technology ever gets to the point of being able to create entire movies with digitally imaged representations of real actors and actresses, I would still be less impressed with the product knowing it wasn't "real." Oddly enough, I have been re-watching the 1981 movie Looker, which was notable for Susan Dey's best nude scene, in which models were digitally recreated for commercials. In retrospect, if someone had asked me back then, I wouldn't have thought that 31 years later we still would not have managed to accomplish that.

Anyway, if the characters are not photorealistic, I guess it just doesn't work for me. But ask me again if they ever manage to make a perfectly realistic digital avatar of Jessica Alba and put her through her GIMP paces, naked, of course.

I believe that you diminish the potential power of your enterprise by seeing it this way. While I'm not a fan of victims looking bloodied and bruised, it does look like there's plenty of good stuff in GEXP-60. And the bruises and blood don't appear to be too much of a distraction in the promotional stills. I'm sold on the movie.

The June movies will include a Super Special film, SSPD-086, that stars Yuma Asami, who was my choice for best actress of 2011 in last December's year in review (December 29).

The movie is one of those "raped in front of her husband" films.

I'm not a big fan of that series, but I do like Yuma. Hopefully, this is a sign that Yuma may be doing more GIMP-related films in the future.

Yuma mostly stars in vanilla flicks, but when she does stray into our neighborhood, she is often quite good.

Sorry to hear that. If you were to give it a chance, you might be surprised how much you would enjoy it. Suffer For Your Art has a lot of elements and action you don't really see in animation or live action very often, if ever. While it is not photo realistic, it is very detailed. You might find it's more interesting than you think. Then again, I don't know what you like and maybe this movie isn't for you if you're dead set against Poser animation. You can lead a horse to water, but whether it will drink, it is up to the horse. Anyway, the movie is HERE and a FREE PREVIEW HERE should you have a change of heart=).

When CG (computer graphics) becomes indistinguishable from reality (and that time will come fairly soon) you might never know if what you are seeing is real or not. I'm not sure that's a day to look forward to either.

Actors are already being supplanted by CG in movies, primarily in action sequences. Some movies like Beowulf meld the two. Frequently actors are in a world that is almost completely CG, like Sucker Punch, a movie with so much potential and yet so little GiMPage.

Holograms are probably the next logical step in the evolution of motion pictures. Where the people in the holograms will come from, only time will tell.

And since the latest topic is about AOH, may I share two titles? The first one is Elite Pain -The Exam from Mood Pictures. It goes on for 65 minutes filled with REAL beatings in various positions done to 3 girls, and the last 19 minutes is booked only for one girl (Bertha Black, often considered to be the toughest of MP models). She is suspended AOH and receives a vicious whipping all over her body. Her thighs, her labia, her breasts, her back, her stomach, and of course her rear. She bled, cried, and screamed for real. A really well done scene and definitely the highlight of the movie. And in case you're wondering, all three girls are stark naked during their respective punishment. The second one is from Paintoy, Thorin's Torment. The movie is practically the compilation of Thorin's work with the studio. If I'm not mistaken, Thorin (26 years old when the video was made) is one of most loved painsluts (that's how Paintoy call their models) with a hot body for beating. The video went for 42 minutes, and Thorin spent every second of it with no clothes on. She was beaten by the total of 3 men, and spent 24 minutes of the video with her arms tied above her head. The first AOH torture lasted 15 minutes, Thorin was tortured using several instruments which left pretty good marks all over her body.

While in the first one she was gagged and beaten more than a 100 times, I think the second AOH is definitely the superior out of the two (despite lasting only 9 minutes). It is crueler and more erotic, because she was hanged AOH mid-air with no gags and received at least 300 beatings from the men to the point where aside from her head, arms, and knee down, there was no spot on her form that was not covered by whipping marks. Especially her breasts and her back which looked like she was going to have some indelible scars. This goes back as far as porn itself. Larry Flynt got shot for "spread shots". This current attack on personal freedom came about in 2004 when Bush's attorney general's office realized that "Obscenity" is a bitch for them to win. The Feds enjoy a 85% conviction rate which is mostly from plea arraignments. Going to trial with the Feds is suicide. Except..... For Obscenity. They spend a lot of money & lose more than they win. So they put the credit card companies in charge of deeming what was & was not "Obscene".

As for reviewing movies (either professional bondage movies or mainstream films with GIMP scenes), a good combination of details mixed with opinion is what I like to read. Preferably 3 paragraphs or more is usually enough to constitute a review, but you don't have to go overboard and make it a chore that takes days to write. Give the movie a grade at the end (A, B, C, D or F, just like being back in school). It's also a good idea to put a link in your Homepage URL where someone can buy the movie if they like what they read.

Vidcaps are always nice, even if the HTML can be a little tricky if you don't know how to write the code. Unfortunately, Dreambook requires HTML; they're not as user-friendly as other sites. But if you're not sure about the technical stuff, drop me an e-mail and I can give you instructions and sometimes even host the pics for you.

Homepage URL: I was going to hold off on telling this story, but I think it's a good segue from the news item above. It's a bit off-topic, but among the things we've been discussing here are early GIMPer memories and hot irons on naked female flesh, so here goes:

Recently, I had a flashback to a movie I saw as a kid, which was, shall we say, a seminal moment in my development as a GIMPer. The link is to a TCM write-up about the movie, which was made in 1958!

The second paragraph of the TCM review describes the scene in question. This movie is a typical girl-and-her-horse movie, except for the aforementioned scene. The movie was made by an actor, and featured his two daughters, all of whom used their real names in the film. Molly McGowan's hot iron scene made the little GIMPer in me stand at attention.

Of course, I was younger than Molly and very easily excited. But just to be clear: Molly took her shirt completely off and used it to hold the branding iron in her hands and point it toward her chest. That scene was "seared" (pun intended) into my memory and helped me become the pervert I am today.

Now here's the kicker: Molly McGowan was born in 1946. The move was made in 1958. You can do the math.

TCM says the movie will be aired on Saturday morning kids' TV in July. So, will I watch it?

No, for two reasons: 1) I can't believe they can air this family movie without severely editing Molly's scene, as I remember it, to conform with certain standards that have emerged since the making of Pretty Baby and 2) in any case, it certainly won't have the impact on me now that it did then, and I don't want to spoil the fond recollection.

Poor Ms. McGowan died at the age of 18. RIP Molly, and thanks for the memories.

Thanks for the story of one of your first GIMP moments. It got me thinking. Those of us who passed through adolescence in the days of black and white television most likely became aware of our proclivities in a very different way than those younger than we. Along comes a scene that sticks.... and leaves us at once excited and a bit confused. One of mine was a TV drama starring Patricia Crowley (who IMDB tells me is still out there performing at the ripe old age of 79!) The scene was in one of those hour-long dramas, and she took a ten-minute beat down, such as I had seen involving men in dozens of westerns. But never with a good looking woman. This one included stomach punches, shots to the jaw --- the works.

I confess that it bothered me that I was so drawn to the scene. What did it say about me and my attitude toward women?

Little of what has appealed to me since then has involved such beat-downs. And over the years I became more comfortable that my attraction to more sexually oriented GIMP. Not that I now or ever will really understand it, for in my real life I have maintained a very healthy attitude toward the opposite sex.

But I suspect that, with so much product so readily available, younger GIMPer among us will not experience those so-very-subtle moments when we "perked up" when watching a show or a movie and... at least for a little while.... wondered why.

Interesting that you should mention Patricia Crowley, one of the most prolific actresses most people have probably never heard of. She did a bit of GIMPage in this scene from the pilot episode for The Man from UNCLE, in which she and agent Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) are handcuffed AOH to a pipe and steamed alive like lobsters. I must admit Ms. Crowley looked deliciously helpless hanging there covered in sweat. If only she were wearing a bit less . . .

BTW, I'm definitely planning to check out that Snowfire movie in July, even if you aren't. I did some reading up about the movie and apparently it's a "lost" film that has been out of the public eye for several decades. Turner apparently owns the only surviving copy. From reading some comments, it's fondly remembered by several people who saw it when they were younger, although not likely for the same reason you remember it.

Scot: That's a great scene you linked. Few things are more stimulating than seeing an attractive woman hanging by her wrists and surrounded by steam. Women and steam, or really, women and any kind of heat torture are an unbeatable combination in my book. Too bad so much attention was on the damn guy, but I guess that was because he had to be there to rescue them. Major suckage. They need to re-shoot that scene, lose the guy completely and nix the rescue. And lose the dress while they're at it.

I recently checked out a PPV download from Roman Nowicki's new Teraz Films website. It's a 6-minute short called Fantom Intruder Part 2. It appears to be an alternate scene from his feature film release Kristi and the Time Machine that was reviewed here by Fritz earlier this year. It's got the same victim (Maria Vaslova) and she's bound in the same position as in the original film, with her wrists tied above her and her legs spread and tied to both sides of a wood-burning stove. She is totally naked, gagged with black tape and, in a nice touch, there's a close-up shot of her bound wrists and we see that she's actually tied that way with barbed wire.

The bad guy (the "Fantom Kiler" from many Teraz productions) taunts her and squeezes her tits and rubs her pussy before preparing to dish out his punishment. He takes a cane and strikes her hard several times across her tits and body. The problem here, though, is that it's plain to see that the cane has been coated with red paint beforehand, so the resulting bloody marks that appear on her body are obviously fake. It's certainly not an uncommon mistake in many whipping scenes, but it still blows the credibility of the illusion.

This segment is edited similarly to the scene in Kristi, but that scene ended with Maria's character about to get a chainsaw between her legs before the scene faded out. In this version, there's an actual payoff, and a fiery one at that. And that's much more satisfying in my book.

The Fantom Kiler tells her he has just the thing to disinfect her wounds...gasoline! He empties the contents of the container all over her body until she's soaked. Then he lights a match and tosses it into the stove between her legs and closes the door of the stove. A second later, intense-looking flames appear inside the stove between her legs. Once again, the realism of the scene is a bit questionable, since I don't know of any wood that ignites that quickly unless it's covered with gasoline, too. Even though the fire isn't totally believable, it's still not a bad-looking effect, and at least there's some smoke added to boost the fantasy. Maria's frantic emoting through her gag helps a lot, too.

The Kiler stands back and continues to berate her, commenting that he sees smoke coming from her pussy. And indeed, the area between her legs does begin to smoke and then catch fire before her entire body erupts into flames. As far as human torch scenes go, it's a far cry from the outstanding burning scene in Don't Go In The House, but it still made me smile in sadistic glee. "Now that's a hot bitch," he exclaims as the film ends, providing the perfect punch line.

Like many of the later Teraz films I've seen, Nowicki doesn't go for total realism and instead seems to prefer a Dali-like impressionistic look to his productions. That's not going to be for everyone's taste, but I definitely enjoyed this particular scene. For those who are into fire torture like I am, it's a worthwhile download, especially considering it's less than 5 dollars.

My grade: B

Based on what I've seen in the caps, I like the look of the Teraz films. I'm not sure the content in this film appeals to me, though.

I might check it out as an introduction to Teraz. The price is within budget and I should be able to pay attention throughout the entire film.

Kristi and the Time Machine sounded intriguing to me, so it's good to know this is an alternate scene, with what sounds like a much more satisfying ending. Too bad we can't order the "alternate version" of the original movie.

I'm not too excited by the stills -- the "happy homemaker" look doesn't do much for me (I prefer sexy spies). Still, it's Yuma, which makes it noteworthy. I'll be watching for it in June.

I've also noticed Attackers has a humiliated teacher movie coming out next month. I could be mistaken, but I think this is a new area for Attackers. Other Japanese companies such as Hibino and I-Energy make this kind of thing all the time, but I don't believe Attackers has been making them.

The Attackers "teacher" films I have seen in the past had a "slave" theme, rather than the humiliation angle (where a teacher is blackmailed into stripping and submitting to her students' sexual demands).

Actually, one Yuma Asami movie that came out recently that I think is quite good is called something like Duty Treatment (DV-1364). It's about an office lady who is violated and then blackmailed into providing sexual favours to her boss and colleagues.

It's probably not a Ralphus movie -- no one gets tied up -- but I enjoyed it. Nobody does the humiliated woman routine quite as well as Yuma.

I do not know anything, nor do I care, about Janelle Evans the "teen mom". But what fascinates me about this picture is that you can zoom in and scan the image from top to bottom.

Y'know those times when you're watching a vid and say to yourself. "Why did they use that camera angle? Why didn't they show that view from up above?" or something to that effect. Well, what if there was a way to generate an image - much like a hologram - that would allow the viewer to choose his/her own angle or perspective? Wouldn't that be great?

Of course the technology would be expensive and you would probably have to pay $1,000 per minute to watch it.

But hey, this is my fantasy...I'll leave it someone else to work out the details.

I don't think I would mind so much the lack of bondage in a film like that...as long as it's nasty in other respects.

An example is when the villain compels the victim to do as she's told by holding a knife to her neck. Or, as in the bus flick, when the girl is outnumbered or surrounded.

Well, with all the updates we've had since we opened the Electro-Shock Database, which now stand at 42, there's a couple of new videos that I would recommend. And because the subject matter may never pass the U.S. current rules and regulations, Maleficarum may never be shown on the IFC cable TV without heavy censorship. I have seen a bondage themed blow-up doll before, but this is over the top.

Back in 2009, Rick Masters of ZFX completed his most recent production, Goon Squad 2, and announced that his next movie would be a computer animated film, to be completed by the following year. Well, he missed that 2010 release date by a couple of years, which left us even longer to wonder what kind of movie he was planning. While I'm not especially a fan of computer animation, I'm obviously an admirer of ZFX and after well over 100 ZFX live action films, I was more than curious as to how he would tackle this whole new challenge.

Suffer For Your Art is the long-awaited ZFX computer animated feature and while it's a very ambitious project, to me, it was a mixed bag. There's a lot to like and some aspects that I wish had been done differently.

"Danni Denning" is the female victim that Masters created for the movie, and she's an artist who's interested in creating erotic artworks, so she places an online ad for someone to bind, whip and fuck her for a night to inspire her. Okay, not exactly a nonconsensual beginning to the story, is it?

Danni's art studio is invaded by 3 tattooed tough guys, one of which handgags her from behind while the others berate her with sexual threatening as well as punches and cracks from a riding crop. They force her to finger herself and eventually to remove her clothes while they watch.

One of them tapes her wrists together behind her and tell her to get down on her knees and suck their cocks. When she objects, she promptly gets her face slapped, which makes her glasses go flying off. That moment that gave me a big smile since I didn't like the glasses to begin with. She is forced to suck 2 of the men's cocks, and they both explode on her face.

Then they knock her to the floor and she spits out a huge puddle of cum on the floor ("All that protein wasted", one of them remarks). They remove her panties and instead of sticking them in her mouth, which is what I would do, they put them on over her face. It doesn't exactly improve her appearance.

It isn't long before all 3 of them are sexually assaulting her, with 2 of the men simultaneously raping her butt and pussy while the third pounds away inside her mouth. It's the type of scene one only sees in X-rated porno flicks. Naturally, she gets flooded with an unusually large amount of cum on her face, cunt and asshole. It looks like she squirts out a half gallon on the stuff. One of the advantages of animation is you can exaggerate scenes like this and get away with it.

This is followed by a segment where Danni is again on her knees, still wearing the panties over her face. The leader of the 3 men (you can tell he's the leader since he has the word "BOSS" tattooed on his chest) takes a lemon from a bowl of fruit and sticks it her mouth to gag her. He tells her to hold it in her mouth and not to drop it unless she wants her ass to get fucked.

Over the next several minutes, he whips her over and over with a riding crop on her tits and pussy, while one of them holds her tight with a belt wrapped around her neck. There's some impressive red whip marks that appear on her skin, and there's even a shot of more cum leaking out her pussy while it gets smacked. The scene finishes with him repeatedly rubbing her clit with the riding crop while she is slowly choked to unconsciousness.

When we see her next, they have with her legs tied apart and attached to a spreader bar, forcing her face down into what looks like a puddle of cum on the floor. They crop her ass some, then insert the riding crop deep inside her pussy and then into her ass, sticking it in what looks like a good three feet. Another creative benefit of doing animation, I guess. They somehow squeeze about another quart of cum from inside her, and one of the men is so excited he cums into her face.

At this point, they finally remove the panties from off Danni's face and stick them in her mouth where they belong (better late than never), sealing them in by wrapping the tape around her head a couple of times. She's laying on her back with her hands still bound behind her. The boss man holds her legs wide apart and impales her ass with his giant cock while another guy holds her tight with a strap around her neck. He cums all over her while one of the other men jacks off on her, too. It's probably the most successful scene in the movie, although it's disappointingly short, just a couple minutes long.

Then the men tie Danni in a precarious and painful position, tied upside-down and impaled on the huge erect cock of a statue in her studio. There are electrodes wired to her nipples and pussy and they're all connected to an amplifier that sends electrical jolts to her sensitive spots. They go off and leave her thrashing about, "grinding herself into oblivion", as one of them men remark. I wouldn't have left; I would have stuck around to watch. It's another enjoyable little scene.

The final scene happens much later as we see Danni and her 3 villains all dressed up and attending her new art exhibition, entitled "Suffer For Your Art". She thanks them for the inspiration to finish her project and suggests they should do it again some day. "Might be sooner than you think," one of them comments, as Danni passes out from whatever drugs they had put in her drink. She awakes to find herself bound and gagged in the trunk of the bad guy's car, speeding away to its destination. It's about to happen all over again. Fade out.

There's also a hilarious in-joke after the credits roll. I won't give it away but it was laugh-out loud funny. You'll have to check out the movie to see what I'm talking about.

My biggest problem with the film is the entire look of the male characters and the victim. Masters wasn't going for photo realism and as the result, the Poser depictions have a freakish, dehumanized look about them. In the best ZFX movies, I'm usually able to put myself in the role of the bad guy as I'm watching the movie. While they said all the right "villain" things, I had a hard time identifying with any of these monsters.

Even worse, I didn't particularly find the animated victim to be attractive. She has relatively short hair (not a real appealing look in my mind) and wears annoying purple hippy glasses for the first several minutes of the movie. And then just when they get rid of them, Masters has her wear her purple panties over her face for nearly the rest of the film. That's not a creative choice I would have made.

I know it sounds silly to criticize the appearance of a cartoon character, but it all goes back to my number one axiom when it comes to judging bondage films. It starts with casting, first and foremost. All throughout the film, I kept asking myself if this were live action, would I be enjoying it more? The answer was no, probably not. If the girl doesn't move me, the movie's not likely going to work for me.

The best part of the film is the cruel and often quite humorous dialogue Masters peppers the movie with throughout the film. He did the voices of all 3 male villains and does a great job keeping the movie rolling along, saying all the right things and giving the movie a much-needed edge. The girl voicing Danni was just fine, although she isn't given much to do except play a generic victim.

The animation is, for the most part, quite impressive, even if it's a bit overly stylish and a times draws attention to itself with long sweeping tracking shots. One of the best aspects of the film is the musical soundtrack, which appears to be (intentional or not?) reminiscent of the HOM Bondage Classics from John Blakemore in the 1970s and 80s.

Overall, it's an interesting experiment, but I felt the final results were more amusing than arousing. Rick has expressed a desire to make another animated film, and I hope the look of the visuals improve greatly over the cartoonish look of the Poser program he used this time around. ZFX still has a winning formula, they just need a more realistic presentation.

My grade: C+

As far as your grade, I think a C+ is a bit low, but I understand and respect your thoughts on the look of the characters and not being able to identify with them. While I like the look of this movie, I don't plan on going this route again. The next project will have all new models and probably some Sci Fi elements that this movie lacks. While you may not love Sci Fi, you will likely find the graphics more to your liking.

Incidentally, the Suffer For Your Art DVD will be released this coming week, if you're a DVD man (or lady), they will be available through ZFXVIDEO.COM, various bookstores, the back of a rusty van, etc.

I have no idea what is involved using computers to do the animation but I'm an old school filmmaker and when I've done animation it was an extremely tedious process.

I do hope others will buy the movie and we'll get other reviews. There's some good things in it and it's definitely worth a look-see.

Speaking of animation, today's daily picture was a project that the artist B-Movie Villain created and released over several weeks on his Yahoo group. He put together 23 separate frames, which if run continuously on your picture viewer, look like animation. I said to heck with the picture viewer idea and sent the stills to John Galt, who put together this rather large animated GIF for the site. I think it's really cool, or should I say HOT.

For those of you who haven't joined B-Movie's Yahoo group, I would strongly recommend it. He does very good damsels in distress poser artworks, some of which I've run in the past as the daily picture. Like John Galt, I'm really not into a lot of the animated GIMP that's out there. I think I could be, if some of the aspects that you mentioned in your review - more realism, better villains, more attractive victim(s) - were integrated into the work.

But I salute Rick Masters for the effort. It's very clear that you can do a lot of things in an animated feature that would be tough to pull off with real actors. For that reason alone, I think the genre is worthy of interest and attention.

Ralphus, what kind of film making have you been involved in? It would be interesting to read about this. As far as animation goes, Poser, Maya , Bryce, or any other computer based animation, you set key frames and the computer creates the frames in between. It's not as tedious as stop go animation where you have to physically move things. That's not to say computer animation is easy, but certainly easier, I think, than stop go or cell type animation.

Not that interesting, really. I have a degree in Motion Picture Production that I didn't pursue as a career after I graduated. I went to work for a video store instead :)

The animation I did was in a commercial for cranberry juice as part of my senior project. It wasn't required, but I wanted the challenge of incorporating in a couple of animated segments. It took forever; it's very tedious and exacting work.

The only thing that might be interesting to this board were the subjects of my first 2 student films. One had a girl tied to the railroad tracks and the next one had a woman kidnapped and tied to a chair. She was gagged with tape. Sort of true to my nature, both girls met with unhappy endings :) I haven't watched them in years; I ought to dig 'em out and post them on YouTube. I doubt they would hold up as well today, but you never know.

In the movie Faccia di Spia some eels are pushed inside a tied woman's vagina.

In the bizarre horror movie Embodiment of Evil two female cops are tortured, one has her face shoved in a bucket full of cockroaches and the other one gets a large rat going for a walk inside her.

And finally in Philosophy of a Knife we have what would be a reduction of the previous scene, that is, a cockroach walking inside a lady...

I recall a scene from a Japanese movie with a frog, and there is also there is a clip floating around called 'Kilroy Was Here' in which not one, but two mice are pushed in a crystal tube inside the girly parts of a woman.

A scene that does come to mind is a relatively tame one, but memorable nonetheless: Kathleen Beller is set upon by a giant constrictor snake in The Sword and the Sorcerer. She is unconscious at the beginning of the scene, but not for long. You can probably guess what happens, but Kathleen Beller has never looked more beautiful. When you watch this scene, you wish you were the snake.

Amy Hesketh as Jane von Detlefson, had an encounter with a horde of ants in Romana Crucifixa Est..., but if those little guys tortured her, it didn't make it into the film.

In the Dukes of Hazzard remake, Jessica Simpson refused to wear anything like that. As Jessica tells it, she said to the movie crew, "Look guys, you can cut it short at the waist, or you can cut it short at the legs, but you can't do both."

I don't see why not.

Blakemore did a scene like that in The Escape, one of his last movies for Cal-Star. A woman had another woman staked out on the ground and she dumped daddy longlegs and grasshoppers on her. She even grabbed a handful of spiders and stuffed them into the woman's panties! I thought that was one of the hottest scenes I had ever seen when I first saw it.

This was one of the subjects I asked him about when I interviewed him a few years back. He talks about what it was like shooting that scene and about why it was cut for later audiences on his Interview page. It's near the bottom, look for the same picture of the woman with the fire between her legs.

In Hostel: Part III Zulay Henao is strapped down and has cootie pheromones sprayed in and around her mouth before a jar of jumbo cockroaches is tossed on her body. The beasties scramble all over her, quickly making bee-lines, or rather bug-lines for her kisser. In what's likely a cinematic first, the roaches scamper into her maw and throttle her. Unfortunately she's not bare - she's dressed like a cheerleader - but the scene might do in a pinch.

Two other creature features which came to mind today:

In Bruno Mattei's Rats, Night of Terror, one of the titular rodents decides to share a sleeping bag with a (bare!) beauty. The furry guy climbs into what Aurella would decorously label the girl's innie, then somehow tunnels through the length of her body before emerging from her mouth, all while her fascinated companions look on.

In Lucio Fulci's Aenigma, another nude victim finds herself covered head to toe with snails who, ever so slowly (what else would you expect from snails?) proceed to... well, other than climb into her mouth, I'm really not sure what they do. Slime her to death?

Actually, I don't think anyone mentioned the hairy man-beast. I was more impressed with the killer gerbils who were licking the blood off the stomach of some stoic Italian starlet. I would argue hairy man-beasts really don't fit into this discussion, but certainly deserve one of their own.

By the way, I'm a huge fan of Devil Hunter, but didn't know there was an unedited version. Is there really much difference between it and the old VHS release (which I always thought was badly cut)? I would love to read your updated review and see those new images. In the meantime, could you reveal who released the complete version? I've found no less than three DVD distributors: Severin (2008), Ryko (2008) and Vivendi (2010).

Fritz, you are absolutely correct. In my stream-of-consciousness kind of way (which seems to be the way I often operate these days) I went from John Galt's review of the movie, as SS Hell Camp, which mentioned the "sex-crazed Neanderthal-looking man", to an imaginary discussion about similar oafs. Yes, that should wait for another day while we continue talking about rodents and bugs.

As for the more complete version of Devil Hunter that I saw, I can't immediately say what it was because I borrowed it from an acquaintance who is into 70s horror movies, but not necessarily GIMP, and it arrived in a CD sleeve. I've since returned it, so it is no longer in my possession.

My original review of the movie - like many of my posts - caused me considerable embarrassment because it was based on a version that omitted at least two scenes, both with the lovely Ursula Fellner. Ralphus kindly responded to the review thusly in March of 2010:

Ironically, I just rented Devil Hunter less than a month ago from Netflix, after not having seen it for over 20 years. I'm wondering if the version you saw was different from mine. Because you left out how the bad honcho rapes her while she's tied standing AOH in the initial bondage scene. It's simulated, of course, but quite a hot scene, and a few of his friends stick around and watch the show while he does her. And you also didn't mention that after Ursula is tied to the pole and the natives dance around her, she is untied and led screaming into a hut, presumably to be raped again. The rape wasn't shown, but it was certainly implied what was ahead for her.

So I feel obligated to rectify that situation. Also, the review was done back when I was less knowledgeable about how to cap and embed pics, and the images are mostly found from the net or obtained from the Hankster. I probably wouldn't change the grade. The movie was rather lame, but I still liked the hot scenes.

I did a little research and found out that the iron maiden, the device depicted, was probably never actually used for an execution. It was just supposed to look cool. However...

The idea behind it comes from an earlier torture device, a real one, called the Brazen Bull, which was used. It was a container shaped like a bull and the inside was lined with spikes. They would put the victim in it and light a fire underneath. Whoa.

I think everyone here should have an iron maiden or a brazen bull in their dungeon/basement.

The Iron Maiden: Yeah, I've heard from a few sources that it was never actually used for torture, but how can they know for sure? Certainly, they really did exist. Why would you go to all the trouble to build one and then not use it? When I was a boy my family went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum and I saw one. I had never heard of the device before but I was pretty intrigued. It got my prepubescent arousals going and years later, I still remember it very clearly. Funny how certain things stick with you.

The website (http://www.cutprintmovie.com/) doesnt have much going for it in the trailer I think. I wonder if this is one of those GIMP-worthy horror movies like "The Stalker" and "Fabula de una conspiracion" which never go anywhere.

It's definitely intriguing stuff, but the reason I've never posted about it is because I've never seen anything about a movie release. Like I say, it's been a long while since I first discovered the site.

BTW, another long-awaited GIMP film, The Watermen, has been released on DVD, but apparently only in the UK. It's been a year since Insomniac brought that film up on the forum. If you go the Guestbook Archives on May 20, 2012, I have some caps from the original trailer there.

There's also a new trailer for the film that I hadn't seen before in my Homepage URL that de-emphasizes the sexual sadism of the original trailer and makes it look more like a routine horror film. There's still glimpses of bondage in the new trailer, however.

Griffin: Thanks for the stills. A lot of medieval poses there, from artists like Ferres, Badia and Damian, great stuff. What I really like is the AOH positions, as was the case in all 6 of your artworks. Any time you've got a spread-eagled suspension scene, that's a really painful position. Amy was suspended and lowered onto spikes in the aforementioned Maleficarum. That had to be really uncomfortable.

I know I mention Blakemore a lot here, but he really was the pioneer when it came to coming up with strenuous bondage for his victims. In the first bondage film I ever saw, HOM Bondage Classics 6, he had a cutie spread out and suspended between 2 posts, tied with all 4 limbs spread and hanging off the ground. I've seen that position in art, but never in any other film.

And the naked staked out spread-eagle on the ground and left to cook in the sun? Saw it in a mainstream movie called Adios Gringo, but it was made in 1965 so the nudity was implied only. Leslie Stefanson got staked out in The General's Daughter, but it was at night so the sun was no factor. She did get raped, though. Bonus.

YikYakker: Regarding actresses who've had a long career in GIMP roles, the standard to beat is clearly Lisa Kinkaid. She's got the upper hand since she was in so many movies for Rick at ZFX, and in nearly every role (I'll discount the times when Rick cast her as the villain) she would deliver the goods. Strictly as a victim, she was about as good as they came.

And let's make this a poll question, just so we can hopefully hear from more than the same 4 damn posters we always get around here. And rather than ask who's the best GIMP actress, let's take the second part of your query and get some opinions.

GIMP Poll: I suspect there's a long list of favorite performers (like Amy, Lisa, and I'm sure someone will mention Tina Krause) who specialize in GIMP productions and bondage vids, but I'm fascinated by more mainstream talent who seem to be in dire erotic peril in many of the films in which they appear. Certainly the late Lina Romay would be near the top of that list. I'd also vote for Mariangelo Giordano, Michelle Bauer and Uschi Digard.

But if it comes to the one actress who really hit the sweet spot for me - albeit in only a single film - it was the incomparable Haji in Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks. Why? First, she's gorgeous. Second, she's stacked. Third, she's a meddling spy. But most importantly, she is fearless. I defy anyone to name a character who suffers more gratuitous punishment than the anonymous victim Haji plays. Interrogated and beaten? Check. Breasts crushed until "they fall from her body"? Check. Foot consumed by flesh-eating ants? Check. Eye gouged out and served as an appetizer? Check. And all this before being mechanically raped, forced to orgasm and blown to bits by plastic explosives. Now if that girl isn't a heavyweight GIMPers wet dream, who is?

I am still thinking about the poll question, but in the meantime, someone help me with this movie. I thought it was Brigitte Bako, but now I'm pretty sure it is not. There's a natural disaster--I'm thinking an earthquake--and this creepy guy kidnaps this girl and holds her hostage in his apartment, keeps her tied up, she works her way out of her bonds at one point. She slips drugs in the guy's food but he switches and she ends up drugged and he tosses her onto the table and rapes her.

I should know this movie and it is driving me nuts. I think it was an 80s flick. The guy is a well-known character actor who plays creepy guys real well. Has kind of a whiny, nasally voice. Limp hair. It almost bothers me as much I cannot remember HIS name as not being able to remember the girl's name, or even the name of the movie. Where's the Rape Database when I need it most?

Quake was a real surprise to me, because when I rented it from the video store I was working at, I had no clue there would be any bondage in it whatsoever, I just liked the woman on the box cover. And then...wow! She got tied up several times in that movie, and nude a few times as well. That's yet another mainstream GIMP classic that's never been put on DVD, a crying shame.

For me without question in the Mainstream it has to be Rhona Mitra, She's been tied or raped or both in Hollow Man, Highwaymen, Spartacus, Doomsday, Life of David Gale, Number 23, and Underworld, Rise of the Lycans. I see that on a lot of those straight-to-video releases from the 1980s and 1990s. Unless it's from a major studio, most of those companies that used to release stuff on VHS never followed suit into the DVD generation. And a whole bevy of treasures are left behind. I got a notification in my Free Speech Association newsletter tonight about a new documentary that just got released on video-on-demand. It's called After Porn Ends and it explores the lives of several porn stars about what's happened to their lives since they retired. Among the women interviewed are Asia Carrera, Nina Hartley, Mary Carey and Crissy Moran, all of whom have done bondage. This is a question that could easily be over-thought. But my stream of consciousness approach took me to Cheri Caffaro. Never being one to frequent the porn movie houses and somewhat uninspired by the consensual sex that they brought, I was stunned to discover the Ginger movies in the [almost] mainstream theaters. When I saw "The Abductors" with its cheerleaders, kidnappings, and Jennifer Brooks tied to a pool table, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Second place goes to Kathy Shower for her take down by the Cannibal-in-Chief in "The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck" and her forced seduction by the bad guys girl friend in "Wild Cactus".

May I suggest that an appropriate (humble, submissive, obsequious; dominant, master/mistress-full, authoritative) request should be sent to Ms. Hesketh asking her to include some or all of the six scenes in her future films. She would look exquisite in all of them. Indeed, is there a position in which Ms. Hesketh, naked, would not look exquisite?
