Ralphus, any kind of clamps that have teeth are called alligator clamps: http://popular.ebay.com/business-industrial-a-c/alligator-clips.htm I wonder if any Gimper movie producers use them on their actress gimp victims for real for there are some alligator hair clamps with small teeth they could use. Most kinds bite cuts into the skin and cause too much pain and damage to use I think. Bill K. |

Reine Margot: Thank you for another great update. I always look forward to seeing your posts because I actually have an attention span greater than that of a gnat and I enjoy the long and copiously illustrated updates. Plus, you select some really good, stimulating images. And, of course, your spelling and grammar are excellent, even though I thought maybe English was not your first language...? (It could be just the name.) I am confused about the Maleficarum Amazon thing. There is a note that says the product will be a DVD-R that is manufactured on demand, but it is unavailable. Like they ran out of DVD-R discs? I know a great on-line place they can order more... oh, wait. Seriously, I guess what is going on is that you just have not provided them with a digital copy yet for them to manufacture on demand. I hope that's what's going on, anyway. Nothing else makes much sense. Unless you have but they are reviewing it to determine if this is the sort of thing they will manufacture on demand, or some other dangerously censorious sounding reason. It will be kind of cool to see the latest Red Feline/Pachamama productions available from Amazon. The more availability, hopefully, the greater the viewership (and buyership). I just hope you folks will not forget the GIMP forum when you become Big and Famous with the Rest of the World. |

As I was perusing the MrSkin website, I noticed an entry that mentions that Keri Russell is in a scene in the new television show, The Americans where she is raped. It sounds like a flashback, so it is probably brief. MrSkin also says there's a flash of Keri Russell's bare butt, but this being the FX network I doubt that nudity will be a regular thing. I was completely disinterested in this show and I'm still not sure I want to waste time watching it. Did anyone see it, and if so can you enlighten me as to whether the rape scene was worthwhile? The MrSkin article is here. |

In my opinion, producing Eda's story should be much higher on the priority list than a sequel to Agent X. This situation probably requires some expert input. Perhaps it's time for America's most-opinionated little person to stop wasting any more effort trying to snuff linguistically mangled web sites and get back to doing that associate producer work that helped make him somewhat famous. |

Well, since nobody rushed to discuss the rape scene in the first episode of The Americans, I checked it out myself. Yawn. Keri Russell the soviet sleeper agent flashes back to a scene where she was in training in Russia. Her sparring session is interrupted by a soviet captain who wants to show her how it is done in the field. He proceeds to hit her a few times, including a hard belly punch that bends her over. Her forces her to the floor, pins her arm behind her back, pulls down her sweat pants, and rapes her from behind. The entire scene is extremely dark, probably done on purpose to obscure the very brief flash of Keri Russell's bare bottom. The sparring begins at the 16:30 minute mark, and it is all over by 17:45 minutes. The final 15 seconds or so is just a close-up of Keri Russell's face as she is being violated.

I mentioned in passing the French/Canadian co-produced television show, Transporter The Series a few posts back in connection with the upcoming Barbarella series. It generally features nice nudity, which is always a pleasure to watch, but no GIMP to speak of. Until the latest show. A very well-endowed female security guard is cloth gagged and bound, tossed in a trunk, then locked in a chain-link cell. Unfortunately, her hands are bound in front of her. And just to add insult to stupidity, it apparently never occurs to her to simply reach up and remove the damn gag. So disappointing. But here is a cap of the lovely if pathetically bound hottie.

Ralphus has kindly agreed to host three of my stories on the site. The first, 'Anna's War' is a WWII French Resistance story and can be accessed through the homepage URL above or through the Stories section. Hopefully this story will be well received and we'll post the other two in the coming weeks. The second story is a witch-hunting/inquisition story and the third is set during a brutal power struggle in an eastern country in the early 21st century. The first two stories were orginally written in 2004/05 and were available to purchase as e-books. They are thus much longer than most of the stories we read on these subjects - many dozens of pages long. There is an attempt at contextualising the story with some background and development of the main characters, and I like to think this adds to the interest of the story. Of course, if you want to you can always skip or 'fast-forward' these passages to get to the 'good bits'. Please note that the physical and emotional harm that the main characters suffer can be severe and is described in quite some detail. I won't list all the many works of film, TV, fact and fiction that have influenced my stories, but I will give due reverence to Eda Chang, whose stories I have searched out over many years. Now, of course, they are all here. I think 'Prelude to War' is just about my favourite - great stuff. If you like that story I hope you'll like mine. |

Today's Pic: Well, I guess she should be thankful that it's not concrete or quick lime. ---------- OK, here's a question for you techie types out there. I've encountered video clips in a format called mpeg-4. My VLC Media Player can handle it sometimes, sometimes not. Windows Media Player doesn't know what to do with it. Windows Movie Maker won't import it. What is it and what in the world do you use to play the clip? |

YikYakker - You can use Quicktime or Flash, both handle MP4s. :) |

YikYakker: MPEG-4 files generally have the .MP4 file extension. It seems to be the up-and-coming preferred format for delivering digital video files. If I'm not mistaken, movies and TV shows available through the iTunes store tend to be MP4 files. I am seeing a lot more MP4 now where I used to see a lot of AVI and WMV files instead. In fact, Kink.com offers downloads in several formats, the MP4 (h.264) version providing, I think, the highest quality picture. The Roku box (that allows streaming movies and television shows to your TV via Netflix, Hulu and other services) has a USB port that will play MP4 files from a thumb drive, but only if they use the h.264 AVC. Because of course there are different iterations of MP4. As Amy noted, Quicktime will usually play MP4 files because that's the preferred Apple format. But you might have stumbled across an obscure MP4 version that just is not widely supported. I have yet to come across an MP4 file that won't play in VLC, though, so your problem video might use something other than the h.264 codec, in which case Quicktime might also fail. |

Greetings All, I have been watching the drama with the Base and with the mention of Barbarella I thought I would put my 2 cents in. The Base: I think they reacted oddly out of raw fear. Ralphus mentioning infringement triggered a panic reaction, masked with anger. What seemed like benign critisism in a fearful mind is magnified. Whether that fear is justified is arguable. The reaction was definitely over the top. Grammar Nazis: I refuse to be constrained by arbitrary limits imposed by grammar and spelling LOL. =) John Galt: In other news, I read that there is a French television show in the works for Barbarella. I am a fan of the original Barbarella movie but it could have been more graphic. One thing that made the original so good is Jane Fonda. She was quite amazingly beautiful when she was young. It might be a good series, but all too frequently these remakes/reboots suck. For some reason I thought the the "Excessive Machine" was called "The Orgasmatron" but I haven't seen the whole movie in many years. Here is the whole scene if anyone is unfamiliar. Not that big a deal, but interesting.

Speaking of the "Orgasmatron", you can check out the "Orgasmatub" from the movie Squealer with Rebecca Montgomery which is the ZFX Clip of the Week .

I'm not an expert but I know that mpeg4 and mp4 are completely different things. mpeg4 (and mpeg2) and compression methods. mp4 is a container format like mkv, avi or vob for example. I watch the videos with Media Player Classic - Home Cinema. |
Name: | marathonmann |
I searched a little bit and found this on wikipedia: "MPEG-4 is a method of defining compression of audio and visual (AV) digital data. It was introduced in late 1998 and designated a standard for a group of audio and video coding formats and related technology agreed upon by the ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) (ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG11) under the formal standard ISO/IEC 14496 - Coding of audio-visual objects. Uses of MPEG-4 include compression of AV data for web (streaming media) and CD distribution, voice (telephone, videophone) and broadcast television applications. MPEG-4 absorbs many of the features of MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 and other related standards, adding new features such as (extended) VRML support for 3D rendering, object-oriented composite files (including audio, video and VRML objects), support for externally specified Digital Rights Management and various types of interactivity. AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) was standardized as an adjunct to MPEG-2 (as Part 7) before MPEG-4 was issued. MPEG-4 is still a developing standard and is divided into a number of parts. Companies promoting MPEG-4 compatibility do not always clearly state which "part" level compatibility they are referring to. The key parts to be aware of are MPEG-4 part 2 (including Advanced Simple Profile, used by codecs such as DivX, Xvid, Nero Digital and 3ivx and by QuickTime 6) and MPEG-4 part 10 (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 or Advanced Video Coding, used by the x264 encoder, by Nero Digital AVC, by QuickTime 7, and by high-definition video media like Blu-ray Disc)." |

Rick: How funny. I also thought the machine from Barbarella was named using some form of the word "orgasm." But I looked it up and discovered what it was actually called. I checked to make sure, and according to Wikipedia, the "orgasmatron" was from Woody Allen's Sleeper. It is just my opinion, but I much preferred watching Jane Fonda undergo the "treatment" than Woody Allen. I am cautiously hopeful about the television remake, primarily because it is not in the hands of an American company. That doesn't guarantee success, of course, but an American production company would pretty much have guaranteed failure. * * * * * marathonmann: You have an unusual definition of "completely different." From the Wikipedia definition of MP4: MPEG-4 Part 14 or MP4 (formally ISO/IEC 14496-14:2003) is a multimedia container format standard specified as a part of MPEG-4. It is most commonly used to store digital video and digital audio streams, especially those defined by MPEG, but can also be used to store other data such as subtitles and still images. Like most modern container formats, MPEG-4 Part 14 allows streaming over the Internet. A separate hint track is used to include streaming information in the file. The only official filename extension for MPEG-4 Part 14 files is .mp4. Beyond knowing what video application to use to watch them, I could really care less about the technical aspects. But personally, I would come closer to calling them "interrelated" than "completely different." |

A L Fielden: So I just got through reading ANNA'S WAR...or at least as far as I could this time around. Damn man, that was hot! It's a long story, to be sure, but it's crammed full of great stuff. I'm sure there's at least a few sections in there that will do it for anybody who attempts to tackle it. The rewards are worth it. This man can definitely write...he can paint pictures with his words. Color me quite impressed, we have another must-read story in our ever-growing GIMP Fiction section. ------------------ Keri Russell's rape scene: I've always thought she was quite attractive, been following her career since she was young. Too bad the scene was so short, and typical of TV standards, sanitized. What else would you expect of American television? Thanks for the caps, though. |

Amy Hesketh, John Galt and marathonman: Many thanks for the quick and detailed replies to my plea for help regarding mpeg-4. I don't understand all of it, but one thing is clear: not all mpeg-4s are alike. I have two clips in that format; one plays in both VLC and Flash, the other won't play in either program. Probably has something to do with that h.264 codec. I'm going to look into that Media Player Classic thing - but I'm guessing it doesn't have the Snapshot feature that VLC has. ---------- Rick: Thanks for the ZFX video of the week, and also for the clip of Barbarella. Jane Fonda is just as I remembered her. ---------- Today's Pic: Props to the brave actress, not only for risking hypothermia but also for letting that shovel get so dangerously close to her pretty head.

Bill K: Thanks for posting that video. That's the best quality version I've ever seen of that file...it's a lot better (and larger) than the original Real Media file I downloaded back when I was a member of Insex. It's still one of my favorite Insex shoots, one of the uncommon times that PD actually filmed a nonconsensual storyline, and you can see how dramatic that was...none of this "How are you feeling?" bullshit you see sometimes. She was clearly suffering out there, although it was easy to see how fast PD was shoveling to get her buried in the shortest amount of time so he could get her out of there once the cameras stopped rolling. The first part of this storyline was quite memorable, too. He's got her tied up to a metal chair in the back of the van, mouth securely taped all the way around her head, and he repeatedly shocks her on her nipples and through an electrical probe he has hooked up inside her pussy. The model's name was Angelica Vamp and she also appeared in another nonconsensual Insex production, "The Prostitute", where she got tied down in a pool of water and left alone to be shocked all night. PD has always had the flair for coming up with unusual bondage torments. If he did more scenarios like what ZFX put out, his stuff could have been really incredible. He definitely could push his girls to the limit of all they could take. |

Reine Margot wrote: There's always a good possibility, a two for one experience, like Maleficarum and Le Marquis. It is possible that Eda's story, a very elaborate movie, will be shot, followed, almost immediately, by Agent Y, using some of the same resources. But that's only a lurking idea in Jac's head. It hasn't yet made the table of discussions where Amy and Jac wrestle furiously throwing punches full of innuendos, sarcasm, irony until they finally come to a decision. Before we do anything with Eda's story, Amy will contact her to show her how the story will be made and why and get her approval. Then on with the production. I don't know enough about the creative process to say anything constructive about the furiously thrown punches full of innuendos, sarcasm and irony. But I do get the sense things are looking pretty good. I may have missed (or forgotten) something along the way, but it was recent news to me that Eda's story was specifically written for this project and isn't one of her posted works. That raises an interesting question. Assuming it gets produced, I wonder if it would be a clever marketing ploy to keep most of the details about the story under wraps? We know the story is about a spy, of course, and I thought I read something about one of the villains being a masked Canadian (that part could just be my memory again). But there's a lot of mystery about Eda's story -- maintaining that sense of mystery might be helpful in building up the anticipation about the movie. What do others think? |

Thanks for the John Blakemore interview! I am the world's largest HOM fan! I am active at CruxForums, the Crucifixion website. One new member, Alicia, asked me to send her bondage pics from HOM to her email address. She mixed those bondage pics with crucifixion pics, and made a slide show at YouTube! Prisoners of Lust Imagine a bunch of HOM pics, color and B/W, along with crucifixion computer drawn fantasies, actual crucifixion pics with rope, with Led Zeppelin in the background! One thumb up means good. Two thumbs up means Great! I ranked her slide show the ultimate compliment: three thumbs up !!! Please view that at YouTube, before they censor it. It will be gone, very shortly. Keep up the great work Ralphus! Your hard work is greatly appreciated! Those HOM girls looked great in that slideshow! Enjoy it, before it gets yanked off YouTube. So I just spent some time browsing Movie-Censorship.com and saw that the first cut of the remake of Evil Dead got an NC-17 rating, so it is going back for more cuts to get it to an R rating instead. Then I read some of the other examples of censorship and what comprised the additions to "unrated" versions of movies, and noticed a disturbing trend. All of the excisions seem to be violent content. Personally, I would like to see nudity, sex and violence--preferably all together in the same over-the-top scene--in material restored in the "unrated" versions of movies. I mean, come on. This is America, people! Our society glorifies violence. Brutality and murder are acceptable in television shows while sex and nudity during a love scene is strictly verboten. Play to the forbidden. Make those deleted scenes violent rape (or at least nonconsensual sex) and torture clips instead. Don't waste my time on more splatter. I also noticed that there will be an "unrated" version of the Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters movie. Seeing as how it starred Gemma Arterton, who looked so hot tied naked and spread-eagled to a bed in The Disappearance of Alice Creed, I had some hopes for the "unrated" version. Alas, it will just be more violent. Pfah. * * * * * Subhunt: Thanks for the link to the Youtube clip. I recognized some bondage pics on there I hadn't seen in years. Very nice. I couldn't help thinking there should have been a more appropriate Led Zeppelin song for the musical accompaniment, but I can't think of what it could be. Oh well. Since you are in e-mail contact with Alicia, you should suggest she stop by this forum and say a few words. She seems like a sympatico spirit. * * * * * Reine Margot: Another awesome post. Thanks. Looking forward to the new Red Feline/Pachamama productions. And the "behind the scenes" tidbits are great. |

Bill K asked: Today's picture: Ralphus, are there more still pictures and/or video of it? Yes, all the Insex shoots were video combined with still pictures. Unfortunately back then PD was using what would be considered today to be low-res video. His later stuff of course has much better picture quality. This shoot was called "Star" and featured Tyler Scot and another model enduring outdoor fire torture. If there's any interest I might return to it after this next series finishes up. ----------------------- Margot: The new trailer for Barbazul is a big improvement in my opinion. I was one who mentioned to Amy that the original trailer was meandering and confusing, but this one is straight forward and really whets the appetite. Good job. I hope it does well. You wrote: During the meeting Amy described the new story to the DP saying: "It will be very violent, with lots of nudity, sex, bondage, torture, burning at the stake," ... To which the DP replied: "but of course, if it didn't have all those things it would not be one of your movies".. Amy was pleased. She's getting a reputation. The reviewer who described her as the modern Jess Franco is complimentary enough. I know she's a fan of his films, just as I am. The nice thing is that working in a foreign country probably allows her more freedom than if she were working in the US. It also helps that you distribute your own films. I know Franco suffered from terrible censorship of his work when it was shown to US audiences. Even now there's plenty of his works I've never seen because I can't find them in any form. ----------------------- A Canadian wrote: I may have missed (or forgotten) something along the way, but it was recent news to me that Eda's story was specifically written for this project and isn't one of her posted works. I might be talking out of turn, but I believe the mystery Eda story was one of her older stories that she specifically asked me to leave out of the mix when we originally started the GIMP FICTION section. I'm pretty sure I got a copy of it when we converted all her works for the site, but I've never read it. So your inquiry about maintaining the mystery was probably correct, and an intentional choice by both artists. ----------------------- John Galt: Regarding censorship in the movies, yes, our country glorifies violence, but it doesn't glorify sex. The age of violent sex or rape scenes is more or less over, at least in anything made in the United States. So if you enjoy that type of entertainment, best thing would be dig into your old VHS movies from the 1970s and 80s because you won't be seeing anything new made, unless it's something foreign made in France or Italy or something. Or...perhaps in Bolivia by the new (female) Jess Franco? |

This is really addressed to the fantastic bunch at Pacharama Films (Amy & Co.) And, while this is basically criticism, please just consider it feedback. I still think you make the greatest movies. But I would like to put in my 2 cents worth (well, OK, it' s actually probably only worth 1 cent, but what the heck, I'm giving it away free.) about the potential Agent Y project. First of all, here is a link you may find interesting if you have not seen this before. http://www.xvideos.com/video3013243/scene_of_naked_maggie_gyllenhaal_in_strip_search_-_uncut This is the best police strip I have seen in any movie so far, and it may give you some interesting ideas. The other thing I would like to say, is what I do not like about Agent X (based on your trailers - I must admit I have not bought and watched the film - but the trailers led me not to want to.) Of course, what I say next does NOT make it a bad movie, but, I do believe that my "objections" may mirror the thoughts of a number of people in this forum who indicated they wanted to see a modern spy film. Nr. 1: What differentiates most modern torture methods from medieval ones? A: The desire, for many legal and practical reasons, to do it in such a way that it does not permanently mark the subject - physically at any rate. B. The use of electricity as an instrument of torture - which of course dove-tails very nicely with A. Unfortunately "Agent X" falls down on both these scores. Yes, there is electro-torture used on the agent early in the film, but it is a, by the high standards set by your other films, short and perfunctory torment. The subject is not even stripped fully naked for it, is not very well tied either and just kind of gets a little shaking before going on to other things. Then, after that, it looks like the agent is pretty well flayed alive. If the film had had a medieval setting it would have been spot on, but the point is, this film supposedly is not medieval. Nr. 2: Crucifixion, for well understood reasons, is beyond the pale in the Western World and has been for thousands of years. No counter-intelligence agency would dare authorize it as a method of execution, because if the fact ever accidentally came out, the negative reaction would be overwhelming and devastating. There are other, slow and painful ways to make a captured spy die if needed. To my mind, the slowest is being left hanging by the ankles - it takes 24 - 48 hours for a healthy woman to die that way, with a headache that makes the worst migraine seem very mild. But Eda's imagination can give you plenty of other good ideas for that too. And frankly - crucifixion in film personally bothers me some too - though in the inescapably appropriate context - a story set in Ancient Rome, or somehow related to it - a do accept it in a film. Now I realize that that is very definitely just my personal opinion and there are plenty of Crux fans here, but there are plenty of other movies with crucifixion in them and in Agent X, in my opinion, it was totally out of place and further spoils the modern setting. |

In response to recent posts: The story that I wrote for Amy was written specifically and only for her, was not one of my older stories, was not given to Ralphus, has not been posted on this site or anywhere else and will not be posted anywhere or shown to anyone else. To do so would be very unfair to Amy, as, if she produces it, it is obviously important to her that it not be known to anyone else until she chooses to make it known. I just wanted to assure her this was still the fact, as I previously had assured her. |

Ralphus - Thank you so much for the promo at the top of the page, I really appreciate it! And I'm glad you like the trailer. I edited it! *fluffing hair* I'm not sure if I have more freedom working outside of the USA. Maybe more mental freedom. Ok, yes, more mental freedom. Lynn - I would call what you're writing more "concerns" rather than "criticisms". Of course the electro-torture scene in the trailer is short... it's a trailer. When we next make a spy movie, it'll be different, especially if I direct it, or write the screenplay, for that matter. Jac is the one who's really big into crucifixion and cannot avoid putting it in all of his movies in one way or another. And apparently, lots of people are very cool with that. His stories tend to have a logic that makes it work within the context. My stories have a different logic. And of course an adaptation of one of Eda's stories would be different as well. Eda - You're such a dear! You've reassured me many times that you will never betray our pact over your story. ;) I'm not worried. I do want to make time to get that story filmed, though, and I hope it happens this year. We'll be collaborating more on that before it happens, of course. Sloth - Thank you for your continued support of my endeavors. I'm particularly fond of Barbazul as it was a long-time dream of mine to make that story into a film. The Bluebeard story terrified me as a child and I translated that into how I view the story as an adult. With more sex, torture, and horror. You know, the good stuff. I believe that Margot forgot to mention that we have a new shipping system for DVDs! Well, for those of you in the USA who have had to wait a long time for the delivery of your DVDs, the long wait is over! For orders originating from within the USA we are shipping from the USA. Ta-da! Seriously, I spent many weeks making that happen and am very happy with the results. For DVD orders from Europe, we're shipping from Bolivia as it takes about 15 days for delivery, versus 4-5 weeks from the USA. I know, weird, right? Apparently, Customs screening in Europe of packages from the USA take more time than from Bolivia. No idea why. Here's the trailer again for good measure! |

Hi all, I have to concur with Lynn about his "concerns" about Agent X. I have watched the entire movie, and it certainly never conveys the atmosphere of a spy under interrogation scenario. Only one interrogator? Dressed "Che Guevara" style? No backups, no intelligence? The electro scene is also pretty unrealistic, for the reasons already noted. I am mostly sure that "lashing" cannot be the main method in a modern interrogation environment (it was not even in the Middle Ages). And, of course, the whole matter of crucifixion falls completely out of bonds. That said, the girl is cute and her acting is good. Hope these comments are taken as "constructive", and filmmakers make progress in leaving behind BDSM cliches when filming "captured agent" scenarios. El Wananchi |

Regarding the Eda Chang story given the Amy Hesketh treatment, I was mistaken. The story Eda originally had given to Amy to film is the story I have, but things changed and Eda later ended up writing a completely new story once Amy's company expanded to doing more elaborate productions. So the plot and storyline are still mysteries to me. Which is how I prefer it. ------------------- As far as Agent X...I concur with a few comments made here. In the electric shock scene, she could have been tied better, for sure. Back then, I don't think tight bondage was as important to the Red Feline crew as it should have been, but it was sufficient enough in my opinion. And I liked the scene. I wrote in my original review that it was a better than average electric shock scene. "Although no screaming here, it's quite effective, with Jane's body stiffening with every jolt." I don't recall it being especially short, either. You have to watch the real movie and not just a short snippet in a trailer to give it a fair review. Does a crucifixion scene belong in a true spy movie? No, of course not. Lynn and El Wananchi are correct that it's not appropriate in a modern genre film. But you know what? I don't care. I didn't get the movie to see a spy movie, I got it to see a "woman tortured" movie. And I was surprisingly turned on by the nailing part at the end, which I didn't expect at all. As for a sequel, I don't know what they have planned. Unless they completely remake it with a different actress, I don't see how a sequel would logically make sense. I mean, she's dead already; there's nowhere for the story to go. Unless we're going to see Jane's ghost take bloody revenge on Che Guevara. |

I don't blame Eda and Amy about keeping a secret on their next story / movie collaboration for like Maleficarum, Le Marquis de la Croix and Barbazul we knew before or at the movie's release every torture death scene that it was going to have. Dead But Dreaming not so much other that courtyard whipping scene, so what other torture or death scenes it may have is somewhat a mystery. Should it be kept that way? Are too many teaser trailer clips or pictures bad or good? Bill K. |

Hmm. I just received an e-mail telling me that Something Weird is now available for $4.99 a month via Internet streaming through Roku, Smart TV, and, I suppose, any Internet-connected computer. I think I bought most of the really bizarre stuff from Alpha Blue Archives, but there were some hard-to-find features I saw in the Something Weird catalog. Unfortunately, the picture and sound quality was also exceptionally bad in both instances. And even though those were also the days of VHS tapes, I somehow doubt that they re-engineered them for DVD and digital streaming. The ad says this: The channel will offer access to an extensive library of our films and short subjects from the 1930s to the 70s - including Feature Films, Retro Erotica, Striptease, Nudie Cuties, Shameless Shorts, Pop Culture Classics, Classroom Scare Films, Trailer Trash, and Weird Cartoons. I immediately noticed they did not mention Nudie Roughies, Twisted Sex Sinema, the works of Herschell Gordon Lewis, and the other more GIMP-oriented stuff they have in their catalog. That's discouraging. I am trying to decide whether or not I want to give it a try. There is a free 7 day trial. Hmm. Well, if anyone else checks this out before I make up my mind one way or the other, please post your opinion. Thanks. * * * * * Reine Margot: Another terrific post with awesome pictures. You've sold me on Barbazul. (It didn't take much.) It is on my list. Thanks again for taking the time to keep the forum informed. |

It looks like Attackers released new information about Lady Attackers 3, the follow up to Lady Attackers from Hell 2 that A Canadian brought up a few weeks ago. On my end, I'm glad to see 3 busty girls tied AOH.

MAV: Regarding Lady Attackers 3. The pictures on the web site don't look especially enticing, except that does look like an AOH nipple electro-torture bit in one of them, doesn't it? That could be nice. And maybe some AOH whipping. AOH is always nice. Thanks for the heads-up. |

MAV: Thanks for the notice about Lady Attackers 3. I don't think it will be as good as Lady Attackers 2 but I would still like to see it. The trailer should be available online soon. |

A L Fielden: Thank-you so much for choosing to share your work here. I have to confess that most GIMP fiction I have read over the years leaves me bored, frustrated, bewildered and often all three at once. Many GIMP writers spend far too little time on plot and characterization, and some don't even bother to set up the story to reveal where and when it takes place. Sadly, it seems most readers happily accept this, preferring short vignettes of GIMP action without any descriptive detail to slow things down. So I was delighted to discover "Anna's War" is a vivid, enthralling tale of peril which draws the reader into a detailed, richly textured world. Like Eda's stories, which you mention influenced your own work, "Anna's War" wraps a lot of meat around its GIMP bones. Of course it's the peril which adds the excitement, but the fact that the story is a well written piece of fiction makes it so much more enjoyable for me. Still, it seems quality comes at a "cost". In this case, that cost is the length of the story - a story which will take more time to read than many are willing to invest. I'm guessing that is why there has not been more feedback for you. Folks are scared away by something which will take a few hours to consume, even if they can "fast forward to the good bits" as you say. Trust me, I know this all too well - no one has ever accused my writing of being terse. In any case, I will echo Ralphus' glowing remarks. "Anna's War" is a great story, and all the fiction fans here, especially those who enjoy Eda's work, owe it to themselves to read it. And if our pint-sized moderator can handle a lofty tale like this one, it should be short work for the rest of the locals. And Mr. Fielden, please do post your other stories here... and write more in the future! |

And what's this? Amy (almost) topless in blue jeans? Mmmm.
---------- This article has a list of films that were once banned but which are deemed "must see." A few GIMPer classics are here, like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and A Clockwork Orange; but some were banned on the basis of narrow political ideologies, in such countries as China and South Korea. ---------- Does a crucifixion scene belong in a true spy movie? From my perspective, a crucifixion scene is okay in any kind of movie. Another March release that might be of interest to rape enthusiasts is IPZ-050, a raped-teacher film from the JAV company Idea Pocket. It stars the lovely Jessica Kizaki.
The raped teacher films from this company tend to be uneven, but some of the past titles have had moments that were pretty good. Ultimately, the repeated rapes in these films get boring, so IPZ-050 will most likely be one to check for a standout scene or scenes, rather than for the overall movie. Here's the trailer. |

And I guess that's why nobody here ever talks about the series of tapes depicting real death photos. Let's never go there. I couldn't agree more. I have to admit I was pretty shocked to be searching the news on AOL and came across the headline "Accused Witch Burned Alive". Like hello, this isn't exactly the 17th century. I was just kind of surprised this story got singled out to become a national news story, since there are so many others just like it. Gruesome stuff like this happens on a routine basis in countries like India and Pakistan, usually women are set on fire and burned for dowries. It just seldom gets reported. I know a lot of us are fans of violent fantasies against women, but you have to remember the real thing is sickening and should never be celebrated or condoned. In fact, it even makes me uncomfortable to even comment about it on a forum like this. At least the readers here can tell the difference. Here's a new poll to get the board talking. GIMP POLL: I'm sure a lot of you have an opinion of the subject. This could be quite interesting to see how people think, particularly our newbies who don't post much. In regards to the poll, there was a story in the news I read recently about six Spanish tourists who were raped at gunpoint in Mexico by masked assailants over the course of three hours. When I first read it I thought, huh, that actually sounds like a GIMP plotline or something. But then I felt like crap because it had actually happened to real people, and it was probably an extremely terrifying and traumatizing experience for them. I do feel a bit guilty over a lot of the stuff I like because I realize intellectually that it's fucked up, but at the same time I don't have control over my sexual preferences, and I have a firm grasp on right and wrong, fantasy and reality etc. So I don't feel that bad about it...and honestly a predisposition to BDSM is a lot less fucked up than some other sexual preferences I can think of. |

GIMP POLL: My disgust at reading about actual acts of violence against women reaffirms for me my ability to distinguish between my fantasies and reality. That said, I confess that the distinction can blur over time. Movies [often loosely] based upon actual events that occurred some distance in the past -- such as the Speck murders and the Hillside Strangler --- do not offend me and can sometimes be of some interest. But I would not be interested in the depiction any real life events that have occurred with a period when the details of those events, and personal information about the victim or victims is still recallable. Hypocritical? Probably. To me GIMP just may be an area where the saying that "Life imitates Art" should not apply. Over the years, we have on occasion on this forum talked about movies that (whether they were based upon actual events or not) seemed so real that they were unappealing or even a bit disturbing (Megan is Missing and Chaos come to mind). That suggests to me that at least some of us prefer visuals that are well-made enough to be believable --- but not TOO believable. |

GIMP POLL: When a real-life tragedy occurs, does it ever make you uneasy to realize that the very content you like to watch also happens in real life? Or especially a film based on real-life events, do you ever say to yourself, "Wow, this is hot, but I sorta feel guilty that I'm enjoying this"? OK, Ralphus, I'll de-lurk just for you. :) Anyone remember the Colleen Stan, woman-in-a-box sex slave case from 20 years ago or so? Yeah, I still have the newspaper clippings. I'd never do anything nonconsensual -- or purchase any materials where the performance was actually nonconsensual -- but reading accounts of real-life events, or watching actors portraying real-life events, is acceptable to me. And yes, there is some guilt. I'd hate to look Ms Stan in the face and tell her that, yeah, the accounts of her suffering back then kinda turned me on. But I know that, if I had current knowledge of something like that while it was happening, I'd call the cops in a heartbeat. So I guess that's how I justify it. Save the princess first. THEN fantasize about her captivity... ;) |

Would it had made the www news if those assholes would have hanged or drowned her for being a witch rather then burn her alive? Tens of thousands of innocent women worldwide are being murdered by religious and ethnic bigots every year. Because women are being murdered by being burnt to death for being a witch makes it news worthy and all the thousands of other murdered women are what, too boring to be news worthy?? Nuts! Amy being bound nude in Barbazul and then strangled nude in the movie is erotic but in the Boston Strangler's real life he raped them then strangled them - NOT erotic. Bluebeard was a fictional movie and the real life Boston Strangler case was real horrible event and to make it a gimp nude movie I would not want to see it. That is my answer to poll question. Hi Ralphus, Responding to the latest poll: It's definitely fantasy for me. Meaning that real life events are disturbing. I used to fantasize about what the Mexican drug cartels could be capable of, but no longer. I like what SharedJoy said: "Save the princess first. THEN fantasize about her captivity..." And in my case, it is somewhat limited fantasy in that not every type of bondage turns me on. EG, I agree with John Blakemore in that having the model supporting her wrists by hanging onto the ropes/manacles is a bit of a turnoff. And taking it further, any sequence that shows a model hanging onto a bar with her hands as a means of support is a buzz kill. That sort of thing. I even find that the snuff stories on this site are a bit much. Weird, but I guess different strokes for different folks, huh? |

Poll question - my inherent cynicism about the nature of our species will show through here - don't feel the least bit uneasy about it - can't feel guilty about something I can't control and had no part in - ours is a brutal and violent species and we have created brutal and violent societies and cultures - most folks, if not reveling in the misfortune of others, are at least fascinated by it - it's like the traffic accident you drive by with bodies littering the road but you have to look and your eyes are riveted by the carnage - none of that is evil or despicable, simply the natural order of things. And so many entities then profit from our fascination with such brutality - news outlets sell advertising by posting all that is lurid, sleazy and violent - Hollywood makes profit on mediocre movies about serial killers/rapists/sexual predators and justifies it all by stating "a look into the mind of a......" - governments use tragic events to promote their agenda and gain more power. Since we Gimpers know who we are perhaps it should be the rest of society asking themselves that question - so much for today's moralizing tirade. Stay well all |

Hi all, My humble answer is "No"... but that requires an explanation. The only GIMP scenario that attracts me is the "captured agent" situation. That means that any torture has a reason and for both victim and torturer it is within the "rules of the game" (i.e, the victim knew the risks). The "innocent victim abducted by pervert" scenario has no attraction for me in fantasy or reality (though, in the former case, it is certainly exciting to see, to some extent). The "consensual BDSM" has no attraction for me whatsoever. That said, the "captured agent" situation is for me as exciting in fantasy as in reality (should I add "I'm afraid"...?) El Wananchi |

Today's Barbazul Pics (1 and 2): Omigoddess, Amy looks so hot. If she were gagged, the scene would look non-consensual and then it would be even hotter. ---------- GIMP POLL: Generally, no. But this is really two questions in one, so let me take each in turn. When a real-life tragedy occurs, does it ever make you uneasy to realize that the very content you like to watch also happens in real life? Honestly, I was just thinking about this recently while reading a true story about human trafficking (sometimes referred to as "sexual slavery" or - a term that I disdain - "white slavery"). By whatever name, the practice is heinous and the article points out just how predatory it can become. In reality, it is disgusting. By comparison, a B-movie like Flesh Merchants contains enough fantasy elements - the captive girls are older and look like actresses/models (Michelle Bauer is one), the villains are a bit over the top, and the whole process is condensed to fit the running time - that I find it very easy to separate the fantasy from the reality. Now, if I were watching a documentary on the subject that realistically portrayed the drug-addiction and prostitution of 13-year-olds, yes, I would feel appropriately uncomfortable and disgusted. But not guilty. Or especially a film based on real-life events, do you ever say to yourself, "Wow, this is hot, but I sorta feel guilty that I'm enjoying this"? Even a lot of films based on real-life events tend to be sanitized, dramatized and condensed, to the point where you really wonder how much of it is factual and how much isn't. I've learned from experience that the phrase "based on a true story" should be taken with a grain of salt...that creates enough emotional distance that I don't develop feelings of self-loathing. But this touches on the topic of realism that we often discuss. For me personally, the more realistic a portrayal is, the more it moves from the level of entertainment to education. In such cases, I find myself moving emotionally from arousal to edification. So again, no guilt trip. |

I would like to specifically disagree with Reine Margot's comment of a few days back, that: "As far as the methods of modern interrogation.. I don't think that most modern methods are as fun to watch as the old ones." I will admit that when it comes to methods which are "fun to watch", whipping is visually in a class by itself. But the whip is a timeless instrument; and an Agent captured in the present time could reasonably expect to have a whip (or heavy leather belt, or...) used on her body as part of the interrogation. It would not however be one of the Roman type scourges that ripped the flesh off down to his/her rib cage. There are other "old ones" that are still applicable today as well, stretching, the strappado, sitting on the "horse" or "rail"; the devices will look a little different - a table with a boat winch at the end, for example - but the methods unquestionably will still work. But the real issue being implied, is of course, electro-torture. Electricity is invisible to the eye and as such presents a real visualization issue for a medium like a film. (I am immediately dismissing the often used, obviously fake "cheap tricks", such as flying digital sparks, or smoke coming off of the victim. NOTE - doing a spark demonstration between the poles of the device to psychologically prepare the subject for interrogation, is not the same as fake digital sparks coming from the subject's body.) But this is an acting issue. The subject who is stretched in front of her interrogator for electro-torture, presents an entire conversation of body language with the tensing and untensing of her various muscles, the movement of her chest as her breathing rate changes, etc. as she goes through the process of being prepared, intimately wired up and finally tortured. And of course, if her body is naked, every bit of this body language is in full view of her interrogator (and the audience). I would also add, that visually, there would be no difference between how the body reacts to being touched by a hot branding iron and by an electric cattle prod. The visual difference would "only" be in the marks left behind - a 2nd/3rd degree burn by the branding iron, but two tiny red marks by the cattle prod. It also is not hard to figure out which torture could be applied longer - a lot longer! Now, to switch subjects - how does it change my feelings, if watching something I (we) realize that what is being depicted really happened? My honest answer is: it doesn't. Everything (fact or fiction) that is depicted HAS in fact happened. The only difference is whether the background being presented as the reason/cause in the specific case shown, has been scrambled by a novelist or is being described form a history book. That said, as I have written previously, I am sadistic/masochistic enough to enjoy watching torture, but I do not enjoy watching a victim/subject get killed, or her body get reduced to bloody and charred hamburger meat. Me. Finally, I have this comment to make about my feelings towards the entire issue of real vs fake and voluntary vs involuntary. As I have also indicated before, my interests/fantasies go towards "interrogations". Interrogation by torture presents an interesting psychological dilemma. The situation, in a real situation, is involuntary in that the Agent (except in some really bizarre plot) has not voluntarily allowed herself to be captured. However, once she has been captured, the torture is "voluntary", she has an option: choose to talk, or, choose to be tortured. And, apparently she has chosen to be tortured if that is what is happening. |

Catching up on a few posts... SharedJoy wrote: Anyone remember the Colleen Stan, woman-in-a-box sex slave case from 20 years ago or so? Boy, I sure do. When I was a young man first discovering this dark fetish, that book "Perfect Victim" about the Stan case was better than porn for me. And actually, it was porn for me since I don't think I had discovered HOM or ZFX or dirty bondage paperbacks at that time. And yes, there is some guilt. I'd hate to look Ms Stan in the face and tell her that, yeah, the accounts of her suffering back then kinda turned me on. It's really sad what happened to her, although she's a survivor and is even selling her own version of the accounts of her story at her very own website, Colleen Stan.com My way of justifying enjoying past true crime cases is that they happened, and you can't do anything about the past. And as Lynn pointed out, everything (fact or fiction) in these books or movies HAS in fact happened. You might as well accept it and not let it bother you. And somewhat ironically, the events in the Stan case were indeed made into a movie, and I didn't enjoy it, but that's just because it was a bad movie, made by a bad filmmaker. ----------------------- Bill K wrote: Amy being bound nude in Barbazul and then strangled nude in the movie is erotic but in the Boston Strangler's real life he raped them then strangled them - NOT erotic. Hmmm...that's a challenging statement. I think rape and strangulation are indeed erotic. Certainly there have been countless rape scenes in all kinds of movies. Suppose the Amy movie on Bluebeard was based on a true story? Bluebeard was fictional, but what if the film were based on the Boston Strangler? Would that make it less erotic, or not erotic at all? Certainly millions of women have been raped over the years in real life. Does that automatically disqualify every rape scene made on film afterward? Where do you draw the line? ----------------------- Anispectre wrote: Hi. I am a regular reader of that 'thebase' blog and some recent fuss made me want to look what your site was like. I should clarify "in the Boston Strangler's real life he raped them then strangled them" statement that the Boston Strangler's rape was from what I read and saw in movies was torture rape, like a broomstick rammed up the vagina bloody type of rape not the "she lived but had bad memories" type of rape. At least that was my understanding of his rape method, very violent, painful, bloody torture type rape which I don't find erotic. Bill K. |

The poll question: The one time when the crossover between real life and the GIMP world really bothered me was the time I went to the cinema to review Karla for the forum. That case, about the rape and killing of teenage girls in southern Ontario, received extensive coverage in Canada -- so much so that many Canadians had a strong familiarity with the case, including the suffering of the victims' families. So I had a tough time separating my feelings about the actual crimes from the movie as GIMP entertainment. That was the exception, though. In most cases, I'm not emotionally close enough to the real situations to worry about any thrill I might get from cinematic depictions. I like The Accused as a GIMP film, for example. As for any guilt I might feel when I hear about a real-life situation and think it's arousing -- well, yes, I feel a bit guilty about that. But I realize that the mental images in my head are probably eroticized, while the reality clearly isn't. I remember reading about a female journalist who was gang raped and I thought it was arousing -- but it was only the image in my head that was arousing. I'm certain the actual situation was quite awful. |
Name: | John Galt |
Poll Question: I find it quite easy to separate fantasy from reality and derive entertainment from the former without feeling guilty about the latter. Of course, I also have standards for my fantasies that are unrealistic in reality. I like my hot female victims to remain hot and sexy looking, even when being tortured or raped. The movies can manage that. Real life rapists and murderers do not. I do not like true crime stories or movies because, honestly, the closer they are to being real the less likely I am to find them entertaining. While I admit there are aspects to sexual violence that most (non-GIMP) folks find abhorrent, I don't think a GIMPer who enjoys rape and torture is any more perverted, nor any more likely to perpetrate such atrocities in Real Life, than a horror movie aficionado is likely to slaughter teenagers at a remote campground, or during Halloween, or under whatever bizarre circumstances the Saw movies operated. I don't think people who like heist movies are more likely to rob banks or casinos, although this being America maybe so. But a skillful heist usually doesn't involve violence against others. And finally, I don't think war movie aficionados feel bad about their taste in movies when they read the daily death tolls in wars worldwide. When I read about a rape or torture-murder, I do not ever imagine it in entertainment terms. My mind just doesn't work in that fashion. And truthfully, I am quite thankful that I live in a time when video is so good that I can derive excitement from watching sexually violent content without anyone actually being hurt. To get that kind of perverse thrill 700 years ago, I would have had to join the Church and look for hot young innocent women to accuse of witchcraft or apostasy. |

Poll Question: Real-life events have been mentioned here before, certainly. My GIMP tastes run to the POW/Captured Spy/Women-in-Prison type, so if someone did a GIMP take on Colleen Stan - or a more recent case - Jaycee Dugard, I would avoid such a production like the plague. And there was a producer who wanted to do a Jaycee movie - either hardcore or softcore shortly after the story broke - but one does believe that the family may have threatened legal action, and nothing came of it. Which is good for all concerned - especially Ms. Dugard and her girls. |

YikYakker - That picture was from the day before we had to give that fantastic miltary frock coat back to the museum after using it in Dead But Dreaming. I figured I would try it on, just for kicks. Sloth & Daniel - Lol, this is the last place I expected the fashion police be monitoring. You can put part of the blame for the shoes on Veronica as she helped me pick them out. The shoes go with my character in Barbazul. I generally don't wear pink, either. ;) You'll notice I'm not wearing any fabulous footwear later on in the movie. The Poll - This is a tough one. I tend to do a lot of research for characters that is based in reality, a person who existed, or something that actually happened. However, by the time it makes it into a movie, that information or reality has been translated and elevated to another level in the form of art. Most fictional characters are based in reality. Bluebeard, while fictional, is apparently based on a person who existed, 15th century serial killer Gilles de Rais. The sordid goings on of our fellow human beings is fascinating to many, much of the time because we cannot fathom the motivations of a psychotic. It's a mystery, but also abhorrent. Why do people gather around an accident victim? Personally, if a movie is based on a contemporary crime, I'm not much into it. It's the feeling of proximity that I find terrifying, time and art tend to romanticize most things, even the most awful. In other news, I woke up today very pleased to find that renowned horror author Dean Andersson had written a review of Barbazul and put it up in IMDB! Here's the link to the original and I'm posting it here below as well. Amy Hesketh's BARBAZUL is an effective horror film of great style and insight that would give Hannibal Lecter the creeps!, 12 February 2013 Author: C Dean Andersson

Hi. Thank you for your website. It is very nice. I don't know if you have the following film listed as an entry in your database: The Scarlet Empress (1934) Please jump to 1:35 - 3:20. There is a short segment, on-topic. Warmest regards. |

Maleficarum is doing well and Barbazul has been launched, but I'd like to reflect on another Amy Hesketh opus that is drawing attention outside the GIMP world. Of course, we've already had a fine review of Le Marquis de la Croix from Thomas Chaser, but I would also like to put my two cents in. I made a commitment to review this movie months ago, but for one reason or another have not been able to finish it until now. Thanks to Ralphus and Amy for their assistance and patience. ---------- Le Marquis de la Croix (2012) Amy Hesketh wrote and directed this dark film set two centuries ago and inspired by the writings of the Marquis de Sade. But before we get into the story, Amy makes a brief appearance playing a modern-day character who serves as our portal into the past. She is a tourist in Bolivia, looking for a particular historical site and following the directions in her trusty guidebook.
She makes her way to a small museum, housing what is left of the prison cell of the Marquis de la Croix. She finds that the docent (Eric Calancha) is about to begin an educational session with a tourist couple (Mila Joya and Jac Avila), so she's just in time.
The docent (Eric Calancha) relates the tale of the Marquis de la Croix (Jac Avila), a nobleman who has was imprisoned but because of his wealth was able to purchase certain creature comforts to enhance his period of confinement. He used his money to stock his relatively spacious prison cell with all manner of dungeon accoutrements, as well as to procure potential victims from the ranks of accused females who had been condemned to death. While he submitted each victim to a series of tortures, he occasionally put quill to parchment to describe his experiences, his innermost thoughts, and his impressions of the doomed women. This is the tale of the encounter between the Marquis and one of those unfortunate women, Zynga (Mila Delicia Joya), a gypsy who faces the guillotine for the crimes of arson, theft and murder. (It's more likely that someone of Zynga's lower social status would have been executed by hanging; beheading was considered a more merciful form of execution and was usually reserved for society's high-born troublemakers. But, by whatever means, Zynga is toast.) She, of course, claims to be innocent, but agrees to take her chances with the Marquis. The story-within-a-story opens as Zynga is being delivered to the Marquis. She has been tarted-up in a luxurious-looking, ruby-colored, full-length sheath dress to further please her new owner. Her ankles have been chained together, as have her wrists; she also sports a cloth gag..
The Marquis offers the hungry Zynga an apple, but insists that she must do something for it. He pulls up a chair and orders her to approach him on her knees. The Marquis has removed her gag but the shackles remain.
When she is close enough, the Marquis pulls Zynga's head between his legs and forces her to service him. (None of this is explicit - Jac's pants stay on). After he is satisfied, he pushes her to the floor. Thus begins a process that runs the length of the film, in which the Marquis not only tortures Zynga physically but also mentally. As Zynga lies on the floor, seemingly ashamed and disgusted with herself, the Marquis offers her the apple that she earned. When she refuses it, he tries to shove it in her mouth. But she'll have none of it. Next, the Marquis has her stand up facing the wall while he affixes her shackles. Then he rips open the back of her dress, all the way down past the butt crack. A good strategic move - since Zynga's voluminous, untamed hair covers much of her upper back and shoulders, the Marquis focuses his whipping on her lower back and butt. After he has whipped her for a long time, he leaves her hanging chained to the wall all night while he rests from his labors. Next morning, he takes Zynga down and offers her bread and wine. There is some nice interaction here between Jac and Mila as he puts victuals up to her lips, only to pull them away, and does this repeatedly. Every possible emotion shows up on her face - annoyance, frustration, forbearance - she seems determined to both demonstrate compliance and keep her dignity. But once again she must "earn" what she wants. This time the Marquis shackles her to the wall facing forward and rips her dress open almost entirely down to the bottom. Mmmm...exposed goodies.
This is followed by another lengthy and severe whipping, during which Zynga loses what's left of her clothing.
The Marquis then humiliates her by making her eat the promised bread off the floor. As she focuses on her hard-earned meal, he readies the ropes that he will use to put her in a strappado-like position.
After he hoists her up with her arms tied behind her, he beats Zynga's butt, back legs and belly with a cane He offers her a drink, but then pulls it away, making her stretch out and put more strain on her shoulders in order to reach it. Occasionally he raises the rod, she readies herself for the pain, and he pauses - then strikes just as the thought enters her mind that he might stop. Next, he moves Zynga directly from the ropes to the rack. At this point Mila is quite lacerated and sweaty, and the racking stretches her out for a very tasty view of her luscious figure.
The Marquis turns the rack scene into a kind of interrogation: if she is innocent of her crimes, why did she agree to this alternative to execution? He never gets an answer.
While she's on the rack, the Marquis also administers a vicious foot-whipping with a cane, which elicits the loudest screams yet from his victim. Zynga passes out, and the Marquis returns to his writing. The Marquis revives her and once again attaches her wrists to the rope suspended by a pulley in the ceiling. He hoists her into a standing AOH and proceeds to whip her again, front and back and every exposed inch of her body. At one point, he tells her, "Just a little more." She may have believed him before, but she seems to be approaching despair that this will ever end.
The Marquis lets her hang there, barely conscious, while he goes to his desk to scribble and have some more wine. "She makes a thousand promises when the whip hits her torso," the Marquis writes, but we don't see this happen. Perhaps he is embellishing his account? The Marquis finally loosens her arms and Zynga drops to the floor. He produces a thick wooden stick to use as a patibulum to which he ties and then nails her hands to it.
He uses the pulley to suspend her vertically, feet hardly touching the floor and most of her weight transferred to her limbs. Finally, he nails her feet to a wooden block. The nailing elicits Zynga's most stentorian expressions of pain yet.
Slowly, but surely, Zynga passes away. But not before Mila gives us some nice squirming and expressions of agony. IMO, this is the best performance and best appearance by Mila in the entire movie, right up to the moment she dies. But just when you start thinking how much this reminds you of the earlier Red Feline works that focused on the torture and death of a single victim, Amy pulls us back to the present and wraps up the story with a pleasant - that is to say, nasty - little twist. Those who like to see interaction between the villain and the victim will need to contend with the fact that the dialog is very sparse. The Marquis speaks mostly through his inner musings and writings, which Jac delivers in a voice-over. Zynga says little, aside from a few phrases - e.g., "I'm thirsty", "I'm hungry", and "Please" - and these are spoken by Mila in Spanish as subtitles appear at the bottom of the screen. But Mila communicates well, through body language and facial expressions, what she is feeling - frustration, pain, resignation, determination even pride. Whatever happens on the screen, the viewer is always drawn to her - even when she hangs in the background while the Marquis scribbles - such is the magnetism she projects. Jac has delivered low-key performances in each RF flick in which I've seen him. In this case it's an advantage, since he is playing a cold, dissolute aristocrat who writes about how "excited" he gets performing violent actions but seems equally driven to hide his emotions. Ultimately, the allure of this movie rests upon the performance of the victim. Mila's gifts include not only her wonderful physical beauty but also the way she moves, focuses her eyes, changes her expressions along with the torture she's going through. As the tortures progress in their level of cruelty and painfulness, Mila adjusts the volume and frequency of her cries. At one point, when the whip hits her nipple, she yelps from the pain. A developing actress - remember that she was "discovered" while working as a receptionist - she gives the film-making company a very strong potential presence to plug into future roles. Individually, GIMPers have different tastes and some may not be drawn to this presentation because there is no rape action. But it has a lot going for it in other respects. Long after one views them, the images of the suffering, sweating, naked Mila stay in the mind, along with many unanswered questions. For example, we never find out if Mila is indeed guilty of the crimes for which she has been charged. Regarding the inner thoughts and motivations of the characters, much is open to the interpretation (imagination?) of the viewer; however, it helps that there is a separate commentary option which allows the viewer to hear Jac and Amy provide their own perspectives on each scene. Another viewing option - which I chose because I've experienced some slight hearing loss over the years - is to watch a completely subtitled version (the subtitles include Jac's voice-over parts). As a fan of clothes-ripping, whipping, racking, AOH and crucifixions, I highly recommend this one. My Grade: B+ |

A Visitor: Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for the link to The Scarlet Empress. I'm not sure any of the scenes in that film would qualify for the databases, but it was kind of a nice curio to see a rapid montage of what was likely pretty risque stuff back in 1934. I mean, I know most of those scenes only lasted a few seconds, but how did they get away with showing us 3 topless women being burned at the stake? Very nice!
------------------------ YikYakker: You know, some things are worth waiting for. And let me be the first to thank you for your review of Le Marquis de la Croix. It was really well-written, the caps were great, and honestly, I wasn't really all that enthused about the film before back when we were highlighting it (not a big Mila fan) but your review definitely piqued my interest. And between you giving the film a B+ and Thomas Chaser giving it an A-, it's very possible I may have underestimated it. I'll see if I can check it out in the near future. I'll have your review link up on the board soon, likely tomorrow. ------------------------ And this is interesting news...quite interesting. I'm sure all of you recall the recent controversy with The Base. After over 2 weeks of refusing to upload video clips (all the while blaming me after I called their practice of watermarking them "kind of obnoxious") today they relented. With the words, "Fuck it, check it out" (charming, huh?) they released 3 new video clips...and get this, none of them have watermarks! Could it be they finally learned their lesson? Could it be they might actually admit I was right all along? ...Naw! Obviously, they still consider mean ol' Ralphus to be their enemy, but I applaud their decision. Now they can go back to being what they were before...a valuable service to the bondage community. |

Dear Pyramis and Thisbe. You object to Ralphus referring to your site as 'THAT base' and 'THAT the base' I cannot find any such references. Forgive me if I err. R. does write 'The Base'. You seem to prefer 'TheBase'. Does the absence of a spacing justify such venom? (Incidentally, it is not an error of grammar). Surely there are more important issues that should connect us together. I assume that we have the same aims at heart. And if you see this as criticism, remember that it was I who urged sympathy for you on the grounds that you had chosen such a heart-breaking and tragic duo as your 'noms-de-plume'! I do hope that this animosity can be resolved. We (this community) has enough opponents without finding them within our own midst. Every success to you. |

mr bush : the Long Island Massacre in 1982 at the Sea Crest Diner (822 counts of rape) I never heard of it, but that number puzzled me. I searched the net and noticed there were four people accused and the facts lasted less than two hours. This averages for each man about two rapes per minute. |
Name: | mr bush |
Anispectre Maybe the fact that at the diner they forced 80 people to have sex with each other has something to do with it. Also they invaded a house party of 20 on the same night and had them strip and had sex with some. As to pictures of Amy AOH, it looks like she has spent some time that way as her shoulders and armpits appear quite muscular. She is working out! |

Grammar: Well, you won't hear any griping about grammar from me...I'm not a grammar Nazi. Hell, I just re-read the review I posted for Le Marquis de la Croix and found about four errors, mainly missing words. How embarrassing. The whole point of grammar is to help your readers understand what you are trying to convey - and thusly, to prevent misunderstanding. I think it's important to use good grammar, and taking a little extra time to do so is worthwhile. I wish I could just give my stuff to a friend or relative and ask them to proofread it; but, you know, I can't do that with my GIMP posts. My dear departed Grammar was a saint...not a Nazi. ;) ---------- Speaking of The Base, I agree that they should be applauded for their contributions. One of them is a clip they posted from the Jean Rollins flick Les Raisins de la Mort from 1978. When I first saw the title, I thought, That can't be raisins, must be a misprint. Maybe it should be raisons, which would translate as "Reasons for Death." But no, the title is correct, and it translates to "Grapes of Death". (Guess I'd better brush up on my French) See, it's about this vineyard that has been polluted with some kind of toxic chemical that turns people into zombies. In general, I don't like zombie flicks. The perps are slow-moving, dim-witted and don't take advantage of opportunities for GIMPage. (Hey, kinda like a lot of Jean Rollins flicks.) But The Base posted a clip that has probably the only GIMPage in the flick. It didn't have subtitles so as near as I can tell, you have a hot babe who is becoming a zombie and an older man (daddy?) who is also starting to lose it. He takes some kind of cord, grabs her by the neck, and hauls her away. The next time we see her, she's topless and nailed to a wooden door. What happens next is pretty grotesque. (Hey, that's a French word, isn't it?) I think I'll get one of these nailed-up topless chicks for my front entrance. Gives a whole new meaning to the term, "door knockers". -------- Amy Hesketh wrote: That picture was from the day before we had to give that fantastic military frock coat back to the museum after using it in Dead But Dreaming. I figured I would try it on, just for kicks. Well, I enjoyed it too. ;) ---------- Today's Barbazul: I like this pose by Amy even better than the one in the uniform. ---------- A Visitor: That clip from The Scarlet Empress was fascinating. Apparently, this was a pre-code movie (the Hays Code was adopted in 1934). I find that period of time in the movie industry fascinating. My parents were too young to have experienced pre-code movies, so they always felt that everything "changed" in the 1960s. Seems more like movies "changed back" to showing the nudity that had been missing for decades. I'd like to find out how adults felt when the movies available to them suddenly became sanitized after 1934. I just got an e-mail the other day from Turner Classic Movies advertising their Pre-Code Collection, a set of movies from 1931-32. |

YikYakker: Great work on the review and caps of Le Marquis de la Croix. It's too bad I'm not a Mila fan (actually, I've never seen any of her films, but that's my impression from the stills) as this movie sounds like it has a lot going for it. It's interesting that you say Jac's understated style actually works in this film. That wouldn't have been my expectation, but one never knows. YIK YAKKER: I wouldn't worry about a mistake or two its not the end of the world, once you get your point over so don't sweat it. GALAHAD: its was just a little joke but it seems it didn't come across that way, but thank you for noticing we are not bad people. There is no problem here we are always right and Ralphus is wrong its that simple lol once he can come to terms with this everyone will be happy:). Okay we will own up to one thing, we are childish but we cannot help this, god you have to have some fun or madness will take over, posting movie after movie etc some are just two funny to pass off with a serious sentence, such as a giant doll trying to molest a woman bound to a bed with pink plastic handcuffs. Who makes this shit up? We don't always know where to put a full stop or a comma or how to finish a sentence off to perfection and if this offends there is nothing we can do about that. We curse i know probably Pyramus more that me and if this offends we apologise but thats who we are. We tried to participate on this board at the beginning and we tried to become friends of the Gimp by welcoming you to our blog. We are happy people and there is no problem and we would like to be a part of your board if this is welcomed:) Regarding the recent pole here, sometimes we question this very thing. Most know this is fantasy, but some as we know to well see more than the fantasy side and take it more seriously. So our answer to your pole is yes it can make us feel uneasy at times. Sometimes humour seems the best way to take the cut out and remind everyone that it is what it is and no more. We ask are we making an already unstable mind more unstable by posting what we post? When thousands flock to the theatre to watch the latest horror/slasher movie they don't all exit with the idea of proforming what they just seen on screen out here in the real world. A fragile mind is just that, if they come to our blog and see something that sends them over the edge does that mean we are responsible? This is a very good question. We also came across a whipping scene lately and we would like to post some pics up here to see if anyone here knows anything about it. Just tell us how to upload the pics |

The clip from The Scarlet Empress was fascinating! Thanks for that. On the poll question: Generally speaking, I feel no guilt whatsoever concerning what turns me on, for the reasons already eloquently stated by a few folks. Simply put, fantasy is hot, and reality is not. There are occasional exceptions, however, and yes they do make me just a bit uneasy. Perhaps the one that stands out most for me is what happened to 60 Minutes reporter Laura Logan. The gal is drop dead gorgeous (a bit of googling reveals that she was once a bikini model!). When she appeared on 60 Minutes that night, describing in some detail how she was stripped naked and molested on a street in Cairo, it was gut wrenching. And yet the visual image of the event that formed in my head....it turned me on. I feel kind of uneasy just writing about this, but I know there are others out there who had the same reaction. And the fact is, we are completely harmless. We are sick fucks only in our heads, not in anyone's reality. |

Pyramus and Thisbe: As mentioned before, you are still welcome to post here. That's never changed. You can even criticize me if you want, as can anyone else here. Just be fair and honest about it. As far as our past differences, a lot of hurtful things were said on both sides, but we're all just people and sometimes we regret things we do and say. Life is way too short to fight with others, and of course, I'd much rather be friends than enemies. So if your hand is out (or both your hands, since there are 2 of you), I'm shaking. Regarding the language thing, I have updated information that indicates you must hail from Greece, and not England as I originally thought. Is that correct? If that's the case, the errors in translation to English are to be expected. So don't sweat it. Regarding picture posting here, it can be a little tricky if you're not well-versed in HTML. Dreambook is user-unfriendly in that respect, but it can be done. Drop me an e-mail and I can show you the code you need to write. Once you have that, it should be a lot easier next time. BTW, that movie you mentioned about a giant doll trying to molest a woman bound to a bed with pink plastic handcuffs sounds a lot like Dollman vs Demonic Toys. I actually really like that scene. The babe is hot and the dialogue is hilarious. I haven't seen that one in years.
-------------------------- YikYakker: I have the link to your excellent review of Le Marquis de la Croix up in my Homepage URL above. Can't wait to see what Amy and Margot have to say about it. -------------------------- If any of you have not yet checked out this week's ZFX CLIP OF THE WEEK, it's a particularly good one this time. Big-titted beauty Monica Moore (with clothespins on her nips) getting whipped by Bryan Dunhill in the classic The Reporter, one of my faves. As always, you only get a few seconds of footage, but that should whet your appetite for more and get your heart pumping better than 20 minutes of cardio. |

YikYakker: That was a great review of Le Marquis de la Croix. I note that you left it "spoiler free" in regard to the ending, which might have been of interest to Amy fans. Of course, I guess if it is an exceptionally brief coda, that's understandable. Even so, it was a fun read and the copious illustrations were much appreciated. Thanks. * * * * * Charles Band's Full Moon Video did so many wonderfully memorable movies, including a couple of my all-time favorites: Meridian and Head of the Family. (Both of which I reviewed, by the way, with illustrations. Check out the movie reviews section.) The Dollman movies never interested me as much because they didn't have the sex and nudity of some of the others. But that's still a nice scene from Dollman vs Demonic Toys. |

Ralphus/Rick: Thanks for the mini-clip of Monica Moore AOH whipped in "The Reporter". That was my first ZFX movie and still my favorite ZFX scene. So at this point of the year, what scene(s) are you guys looking forward to that you know about? On the AOH side of things, I'm looking fwd to a few non-nude superheroine torture scenes from heroinelegends. Here are a few pics:
|

@Danny: Those are scene-captures from the HOM/Lyndon release originally titled "No Mercy for the Witches", one of my absolute favorites. It's really old, circa 1993, I believe. The actress, Stephanie Rage, played that short but memorable rack scene as well as one previous to that sequence, where she is tormented by having hot oil poured on her back and breasts during a witch-gathering (?). But my favorite sequences from that film are the ones in which Trixie Tyler is bound to an upright frame and tortured with the whip and an iron "clamping" device. Later, she is hung upside down and whipped to confession. I never knew what to call that clamping thing, which was a prop often used by the HOM/Lyndon guys and girls. If you can get a copy of the film, I recommend doing so. If you already have it, then you know what I mean. Sorry, I don't know much about the whole torrent deal, but you may be able to find it here: http://img147.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=280085318_tduid300119_HOM_NoMercyForTheWitches_123_31lo.jpg Please be aware that there may be a subscription/fee involved. |

YikYakker - Thank you so much for that fine review! In basing Le Marquis de la Croix on the Marquis de Sade's writing, and in part on his life (I sometimes quote his writing verbatim in the film), I wanted to show who I thought the man was on the inside and the outside. According to what I've read, most of the time his more violent sprees were concentrated in his writing, and not in real life (there are some exceptions). I set up the storytelling device in the beginning as the museum docent begins to tell the tale of one of Le Marquis' stories. What we see thereafter may or may not have taken place in the imagination of the Marquis. And in my character's imagination as Jac and Mila, seen as tourists in the beginning, are transposed as Le Marquis and Zynga, his victim. Following this logic, if what we're seeing is an imagined event, we may only see what the Marquis (or my charcter) perceives. Which is a violent, brutal tale of suffering and woe in the tradition of the Marquis de Sade. Regarding the acting in the film. Jac played his character how I thought it should be. From me, in particular, you will never see my actors playing over-blown, theatrical, melodramatic characters with exaggerated facial expressions and gestures. While Jack Palance's over-acting in some roles is funny, over-acting is not good acting. Palance was directed well in a few roles, but Jess Franco just let him release Kraken. In Le Marquis, Mila's expressions and gestures are the focus, because she is the focus of Le Marquis' imagination and attentions. We are seeing mostly through his eyes since this is the story he has written. Overall I'm happy with the movie and how others have responded. We shot it Roger Corman style, in that we still had a lease left on the dungeon from Maleficarum, with props, so we redecorated and shot another film, less complicated and in less time. It's a "chamber piece". I had just finished shooting Barbazul, which is a labor of love with a complex story and larger cast, a mainstream independent film. So a chamber piece was what I wanted to do, something in which I could get into the meat of the story, two main characters in a dance to the death. A Visitor - Very interesting clip of The Scarlet Empress. Those ladies buring at the stake is very cool. Ralphus - Have I ever mentioned that I have a horrible fear of dolls? When I was a little girl I used to keep them locked up in a box under my bed so they couldn't get me. Every time some delusional relative gifted me one it would go in the box so I would be safe at night. So Dollman vs Demonic Toys is my worst nightmare come true.

cmf, I have seen the rack clip from the flick and it's an exquisite piece of bdsm. Not sure where you get the movie from nowadays and I'm frankly cautious about where I subscribe to as many download sites now are scams. but I agree it is an outstanding flick. |

Wow...consecutive posts from Amy Hesketh and Reine Margot. How does one follow an act like that? Thanks, m'ladies, for your insights and details and pics, and for keeping us all up to date. And thanks also for adding your feedback about my review to that of others. Reine Margot wrote: The way Mila expresses herself in Barbazul, with looks and slight body movements, tell a lot more than pages of dialogues and that's something that comes across in the movie. After viewing Le Marquis de la Croix (three times), I've become convinced that any true assessment of Mila must come from watching her in motion; still pictures really don't do her justice. This girl has a hot body and she uses it in a very fluid, natural way. For the final scene, Mila has to act like she is "nailed" to a patibulum raised above her and a platform at her feet. In truth, she is neither suspended nor supported by anything...therefore, she has draw upon her own abilities to make the scene work. I really enjoyed the way she squirmed and leaned and moved her head.
Amy wrote: Jac played his character how I thought it should be. From me, in particular, you will never see my actors playing over-blown, theatrical, melodramatic characters with exaggerated facial expressions and gestures. One thing I perceived about Jac is that his body language and expressions seemed to show a bit more, shall we say, vigor when he was using the cane to whip Mila. This happened twice: in the AOH scene, and the bastinado on the rack. Could it be that Jac favors the cane, as his implement of choice, over the cat? ---------- Also commenting on the Le Marquis de la Croix review, John Galt wrote: I note that you left it "spoiler free" in regard to the ending, which might have been of interest to Amy fans. Yeah, it's funny about that...I have this visceral aversion to revealing how a movie ends, and yet Amy's last scene is such a coup de grace it's really worth mentioning. My plan had been to link a picture of the last scene and invite individual readers to click the link to reveal the ending if they so chose, with warnings about it being a spoiler. That way, readers could make up their own minds. You'll notice that I posted the review at 10:45 Thursday night, which is past my usual bedtime for a "school night." I was feeling kinda tired, and didn't want to tinker with the review any more for fear that I would mess something up and have to stay up even later to fix it. (As a business partner of mine use to say, "Perfect is the enemy of good.") Maybe folks have some opinions about whether and how they would like to see surprise endings handled in reviews. |

So I'm going down Margot's awesome-as-always post, and I found myself lingering for quite a good while at the first pic of Veronica. My god she's beautiful. Finally, I get past it, only to discover further down a new pic from the public whipping scene I commissioned from Amy and Jac (set to appear in Dead But Dreaming). As if I wasn't already enough in love with my computer. Then it hit me. Veronica has a role in Dead But Dreaming. Had I known way back when about Veronica (I knew of her, but wasn't really aware that she was still working with Amy and Jac), I might have asked for a somewhat different scene. Oh, it would have still been a severe public flogging to be sure. But look at that pic of naked Amy at the whipping post, and imagine a naked Veronica similarly tied to the opposite side of the post, facing her. A lovely image, isn't it? I understand they are already planning some sort of sequel to Dead But Dreaming. Maybe, just maybe.... :-) |

The other day, I watched Bounty Hunter, starring Yukiko Suo. This film was one of Attackers' February releases.
I'm feeling too lazy these days to write a review. But my quick assessment is it's a fun film, with all of its GIMPage taking place in the great outdoors. The story is a bit silly but it has its moments (it's a rape movie, rather than a torture one). It's not a keeper but I think it's worth checking out. |

I'm glad to hear the talk of Barbazul is about over in favor of Dead But Dreaming. I don't know why it's being said that sales and hopes should be low... the use of a public whipping scene is all but unheard of in bondage movies. In fact the only time it usually ever happens is in mainstream movies and then it's usually brief and forgettable. Am I really wrong in setting high expectations for it? |

Dr. Yuya wrote: Am I really wrong in setting high expectations for it? Yes. That's not a comment on the film, of which I know nothing more than the next GIMPer (possibly less, since I have a notoriously spotty memory). Rather, it's a more general observation that it's always a good idea to keep your expectations in check. It's better to have low expectations and be pleasantly surprised than to set high expectations and then find yourself disappointed. |

Greetings All, Ralphus: Thanks for the shout out brother. Monica Moore was quite fetching and she did a nice job in The Reporter and The Reporter 2: Gangstarr. MAV and Antispectre: Thanks to you guys as well! I'll tell you a funny story about The Reporter. We were shooting a beginning sequence where the reporter walks to her motel room outside. As we were shooting it, a motel security guard rounds the corner and starts to follow Monica. I just kept shooting as she was unaware this guy was behind her. As you can see from the pictures below, it was a cold night lol. I kept her between him and me to block him out of the shot but at the last instant as she goes through the door he walks into the frame. He seemed confused and alarmed and wanted to know what I was up to. After a tense minute and some fast talking about "student films" he relaxed.
He was completely transfixed by Monica's enormous jugs with high beams on. I cant blame the man for that. I did have a room there, so he reluctantly took off. We quickly shot the shower sequence and got the hell out of there just in case he called Johnny Law. I wasn't doing anything illegal per se, but they have been known to confiscate cameras. I'm sure most people who have seen the movie did not notice or thought he was part of the movie. Anyway, I thought I would share that story with you because it always gives me a chuckle. Check out the pictures above and you can see his head briefly. Rick If anyone is interested in checking out these movies, you click on the picts below it will take you to the clip store. Well, soon it will be Oscar Night, when the movie establishment hands out little gold award dudes to the chosen few. But some of the best movies can be found right on this site - well, at least reviews and pics of them. See, the Review Database has a grading system, and I've been busy assembling some data from the Mainstream department of the review section, about all of the movies, reviewers and ratings therein. Why? Because I'm nutty, that's why. Anyway, it turns out that there are currently 255 movies in the Mainstream section, with 273 reviews (some movies have more than one review). Most of the reviews have a letter grade assigned, but apparently there was a time, in the GIMP's murky past, when posters submitted descriptions of movies sans grades. Having looked them over, I've tried to discern the intent of the writer, and accordingly, I've come up with a rating system for those without grades: A smiley face - :) - means that the writer used language indicating a positive assessment, like "must see", "excellent", etc. A frowny face - :( - is assigned when the writer used language indicating a negative assessment, like "sucks", "really sucks", or "godawful", etc. If I really couldn't get a sense of which way the reviewer was going, I assigned a ? So, here is a summary for those with grades: A-, A or A+ - 31 reviews (11%) B-, B or B+ - 63 reviews (23%) C-, C or C+ - 81 reviews (30%) D-, D or D+ - 41 reviews (15%) F, Z- or zero - 8 reviews (3%) Here are the totals for those without grades: :) - 11 reviews (4%) :( - 13 reviews (5%) ? - 25 reviews (9%) So the review database has a lot of winners in it: 34% of the reviews have ratings from B- to A+, and another 4% have smiley faces. Pretty cool. Over the next few days, leading up to Oscar Night, I'm going to list the mainstream movies that got the best ratings from our reviewers. Now these grades are fairly subjective and each reviewer has his/her own criteria for assigning a grade. But if you are looking for good GIMPage, you probably can't go wrong by choosing the movies that are highly recommended by folks who have seen them and who have a pretty good idea of what makes a scene work. You might say these movies are the creme de la creme in GIMPage. The database has other categories of movies. Besides Mainstream, the largest list are ZFX and Japanese. But there are many other divisions worth checking out, including Powershotz, Jess Franco, and Pachamama/Decadent, to name a few. In my next post, I'll list the B+ movies that just missed making the top tier, but are still worth checking out. ----------

Catching up on the latest batch of posts... Sung: Good to see you posting here again. Your Asian GIMP never takes a bad picture; you're very lucky to have her as a model (and maybe more). -------------------- Dr Yuya wrote: I'm glad to hear the talk of Barbazul is about over in favor of Dead But Dreaming. In fact the only time it usually ever happens is in mainstream movies and then it's usually brief and forgettable. Am I really wrong in setting high expectations for it? I think based on Amy's track record and the stills we're seeing of the whipping scene, it should be great. It was a custom, after all, and I'm sure D. Santorum didn't pay big bucks for something that's going to be brief and forgettable. As far as the movie itself, it's a vampire movie. How do you lose money on a vampire movie? I personally couldn't care less about the whole vampire craze, but there's no denying vampires are hot right now. Unless the film is a total dog, which I doubt, I'm sure it will be quite successful. -------------------- YikYakker: Regarding all your research on the reviews database, you've got entirely too much time on your hands :) Still, interesting stats. 255 different movies in the Mainstream section alone? That's a helluva lot. I would be willing to bet that's more than a lot of actual sites that feature movie reviews as their specialty. It wouldn't surprise me if we had over 1000 different movie and bondage video reviews on our site, but unlike you, I don't all that excess time to count them all. But knock yourself out if you want to. -------------------- Rick: Good story, thanks for sharing that. I love hearing the behind-the-scenes stuff about making bondage films, I'll bet you could fill a whole book with everything that's happened with all those movies you've shot over the years. Naturally, I had to pop in my DVD of The Reporter to catch that security guard's cameo in that scene. I don't blame him for wanting to follow Monica Moore, especially wearing that top with her titty hard-on showing through. I'd have done it, too. God, she was one beautiful woman. But if that guy had been a truly good security guard, you'd think he would have done something about stopping Bryan Dunhill from coming in a few minutes later with a gun to interrupt her shower.
BTW, that line about "student films" reminds me of an incident when my then-girlfriend was greeted at the door of our apartment by a stranger, who asked about a pair of fur-lined handcuffs that were hanging from the top of our closet door...a remnant from one of our playtime sessions from the night before. She had to think fast and finally stammered, "Oh, my boyfriend makes student films". And I'm sure that person was thinking, "Uh huh. I wonder what kind of movies he really makes." |

Then I'll have plenty of time on my hands. ;) ---------- Oscar, Oscar... OK, here's the first installment of the list of greatest (or at least highest-rated by our reviewers) movies in GIMP history. All of these movies rated a B+. But first, I need to explain something about these ratings. Some reviewers provide 2 grades: one for the movie as a whole, the second for the GIMP scenes only. Other reviewers rate GIMP scenes only, still others rate only the movie as a whole. Always a complication, huh? Well, in those instances where a reviewer has assigned two grades, I chose the grade pertaining to GIMP scenes only for this list. Just trying to keep it simple. There were 27 movies that earned a B+ and shown below are the first 14, in alphabetical order. The remaining 13 will appear tomorrow night. The reviewer is listed in parentheses, and I've added my own comments in italics. Sung: The dangling GIMP is very cool, thank you. I think you ought to leave her up there all night. ------------------------------- YikYakker: Great idea, tying in the Oscars with a list of the greatest GIMP movies of all time. Looking over your list, I don't see a single movie that actually received a real Oscar nomination, which is typical since our type of entertainment doesn't generally get recognized by the Academy. I haven't seen every title on the B+ list, but I've seen enough to know there are some real good GIMP movies, or at least ones with real good GIMP scenes. In fact, Cut, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, Hostel: Part 2 and Shallow Ground are all Ralphus Award winners, which is a much loftier goal for a filmmaker to shoot for. Can't wait to see what turns up when you get to the A list. Should be interesting. In the meantime, what mainstream movies (or scenes) do you guys think belong on the list of the greatest GIMP movies of all time? Let's hear from you. Surely there's some here that haven't been mentioned so far (and I think I see Cheri Caffaro out there frantically waving her hand). |

There are a good number of monster Sci-fi movies that had very good gimp scenes in them. "Aliens" where the alien pops out of a woman's chest while she's screaming "Kill me" then they roast her with a flame thrower. "Bug" burning women scene is another. "Don't Go in the House" unknown mainstream. Of course I am a bats fiery peril fan but there been huge number of monster movies with gimp scenes in them that I don't recall I'm sure. So the 13 I was going to announce tonight have already been posted. Not to worry, for tonight I will unveil the 11 movies that earned A- grades. But first, a few things:
Anyway, here's tonight's list of prime GIMPage films rated A-. ~ CUT ( Ralphus ) Students get revenge on the Dean's daughter. ~ Diary of a Serial Killer ( jyydubs ) "It's graphic, shocking, mean spirited, and creative. It is darkly comical too." ~ Exitus Interruptus ( YikYakker ) Ralphus Award-winning horror from Andreas Bethmann. ~ Girl Next Door, The ( Ralphus ) Compelling adaptation of Jack Ketchum's classic novel. ~ Head of the Family ( John Galt ) Fine performance by - and a nice almost-BATS scene with - Jacqueline Lovell. ~ I Spit On Your Grave (1978) ( Ralphus ) The original with Camille Keaton ~ Love Letters of a Portuguese Nun ( YikYakker ) Sweet l'il Susan Hemingway in the Abbey from Hell. One of Franco's best. ~ Night Train Murders ( Ralphus ) Like Last House on the Left, but it's on a train! ~ Skin I Live In, The ( Ralphus ) Well-done Spanish movie includes rape scenes. Elena Ayala....mmmmmm. ~ Spine ( Brutus ) "It was quite clear the movie was made simply to tie up and torment cute women." ~ Strip Search ( Mr. 0 ) Maggie Gyllenhall gets hasseled big time by Chinese officials.

Well, here's a question regarding memorable mainstream movie scenes. I cannot remember the title of this movie, and I never managed to snag a copy of it back in the day. It is a science fiction movie, and takes place--as I recall--on a space ship or space station. A "space marshal" guy shows up for some reason. There are several hot women, and he manages to have sex with two or three of them. A couple of the women have sex with each other--or just shower together, I don't remember exactly. There's a good dose of sex and nudity throughout the movie in any event. The scene I loved was when one of the hot women, in a very short robe, goes to try to negotiate with this tentacled blob monster which has taken over the control systems. They communicate via typing on a computer console and she asks if they can coexist (or something) and the monster doesn't reply via the computer terminal but instead one of his clawed tentacles slowly snakes across the floor, moves up slowly between her legs, then suddenly flies up and impales her crotch coming out her shoulder. The slow build-up and the sudden penetration were awesome. Can someone remind me of the name of that flick? |

How could Barbarian Queen not make the mainstream list? Or Re-Animator, with the delicious Barbara Crampton strapped naked to an autopsy table, while molested by a head? |
Name: | John Galt |
MrAnthony: Yes, thank you very much. I saw Forbidden World and Galaxy of Terror back-to-back, and have always gotten them mixed up. If I recall the title of one, I totally blank on the title of the other. Both are Roger Corman productions, and knowing him they probably shared a lot of the same sets, which likely contributes to my confusion. Both have one stand-out GIMP scene, in my opinion. I described the scene from Forbidden Planet. The scene from Galaxy of Terror, of course, is the giant bug-worm-thing rape scene. Science fiction films have such great potential for innovative GIMP. |
Name: | John Galt |
MrAnthony: Worry not about Re-Animator. It looks like YikYakker is moving up from B+ to, presumably, A+. And I happen to know that Re-Animator was awarded a grade higher than the current level of A-. Ahem. As for Barbarian Queen, for some reason it looks like it has never been reviewed in the GIMP Movie Reviews. Someone ought to remedy that. |

Those who are into interrogation and aoh torture are in luck. There was a scene from the most recent episode of the Korean TV series called IRIS 2 in which female spy is captured and electro tortured as well as beaten with clubs. The scene really deserved to be longer but apparently pressure from the network led to it being trimmed down. The scene starts around 11:08. Enjoy! :) |

Is anyone else geeky enough to enjoy the HBO fantasy series 'Game of Thrones'? It's a bit like a political drama set in the Middle ages. With lots of nudity, gore, and torture. And dragons and magic. I love it (almost as much as the original books by George R R Martin. Anyway - what's the relevance to 'GIMP' I hear you ask? Well, there is quite a lot of old fashioned traditional 'peril' of damsels in distress - here is a scene as a taster (whilst it lasts on youtube). Psychopathic Boy-King Joffrey has been sent a gift of a couple of whores to 'calm his urges'. So what does he do? Well, it's not QUITE what I would have done, but I am sure that a few of you will enjoy it... |

YikYakker: Regarding the latest list, the movies that received a grade of A-, now we're really getting to the good stuff. I've seen 10 of the 11 movies on that list (plus the strip search scene in Strip Search) and they're all primo entertainment. A few may be hard to acquire, but all are worth seeking out. I guess the A movies will be next to finish us out. I did peek at the Reviews to see what we have missing. What we won't be seeing: 2 of the 3 Ginger movies, including the original classic that believe it or not, only scored a C+ (what kind of idiot would grade that movie so low?) Also missing: the aforementioned A Clockwork Orange, Barbarian Queen (and its sequel), and a true-life documentary called Bloodsucking Freaks, none of whom have been officially reviewed here. That's almost hard to believe, since we've been nearly 14 years. Someone needs to rectify that. |

Alas, I find it difficult to believe my good friend Ralphus, that no one has seen fit to review our little foray into the thespian arts low these 14 years, but alas.... tis true... And what a horrid oversight it is. So, while it may be somewhat precipitous for me to review said work of art, I will attempt to do so, and keep my own personal bias to a minimum. Bloodsucking Freaks: The movie itself is actually semi-autobiographical, as it tells the story of the foray, albeit brief, of Ralphus and I in Grand Guignol Theatre. Now, of course, rather than be so debased as to use play actors, Ralphus and I hit upon the fine idea of using real life slave girls... that we had found about, here and there. Many associates were quite kind enough to ship us a variety of naked slave girls for this purpose, and after we were done with them, if they survived, we would send the now, fully trained and obedient girl to her new master. It was quite the arrangement.
All was going quite well, until some vile villain named Creasy Silo elected to give our show a poor review... can you imagine our despair? Ralphus and I did our best to overcome this.. we played darts and drank beer to alleviate the tension and stress we were under. Fortunately, we found a deviant girl with the finest ass to help with target practice... though at the END, methinks she was not quite pleased at helping us.
We also played backgammon. Some might find fingers distasteful as a means of bartering, but it does keep a girl's fingers out of the cookie jar, yes? Ralphus ended up beating me that time... it cost her... I mean me, and arm and a leg.
The movie does a fine job capturing our top notch slave girl training methods in action. There is a fine electro torture scene with a naked lass... and Ralphus quite skillful in the way he attached the electrodes to the girl's rosy nipples. Only a few jolts, and the rebellious slut was ready to do our bidding.
A stubborn lass finds her way to stretching on a St. Andrews cross, though I dare say, the director was a bit squeamish on this, and the scene is not quite as convincing as it could have been...
Oh, and then there is the cute little scene with the school girl and the guillotine. Ralphus did a wonderful job of caning her fine ass, yet sadly, the girl lost her head over the whole affair.
Oh, but back to the plot of the movie, yes? I digress. So, the villain Creasy Silo gives our production a poor review, so, what else can a downtrodden S&M Master and his deviant height challenged friend do but kidnap him and show him the error of his ways? Oh, and we did up our game a bit as well, just to show that we could take constructive criticism. The lovely ballerina Natasha DeNatalie was tortured.. er.. I mean volunteered to join our happy little troupe and put on a top notch show... would you believe that even then, that critic didn't want to give us a good review?
Now, if there is a part of the movie that I objected to strongly, and it was the complete fiction where our little operation was uncovered by the police, and... well, those naked caged damsels enacted a bit of revenge on yours truly... but, movie studios are so fickle. It seems they wouldn't make the movie, unless I put in that part. Needless to say, Ralphus and I didn't make any more movies after that... but, we did leave, you, our fellow GIMPers this A- piece of art house film making. Enjoy! |

Yeah, I took some guff here over the grade I gave Ginger. But the great thing about the movie review database is that any movie can be reviewed more than once. In fact, there are 4 reviews for Cut and 3 for Megan Is Missing . But I agree with all the comments that a number of exemplary candidates for review are still missing from the database. It would be great if someone could help fill in the pieces that we lack. Thanks, Sardu, for getting us started with that entertaining recap of Bloodsucking Freaks. You and Ralphus made an impact on the movie industry from which it has never recovered. ;) Now before we get to tonight's list, I must report that yesterday I inadvertently omitted an entry from the A- group. So here's another movie that should have been on last night's list: ~ Prison Girls ( Mr. 0 ) Women-out-of-prison flick, featuring Maria Arnold gang-raped by bikers. And here are the movies that scored A ratings from our reviewers: ~ Abductors, The ( Dangerous Dave ) Many feel this is the best in the Cheri Caffaro Ginger trilogy. Jennifer Brooks (Laurie Rose) steals the show, IMO. ~ Compliance ( Ralphus ) True tale of fast-food worker (Dreama Walker) forced to suffer humiliations. Stranger than fiction. ~ Deadgirl ( Sardu ) In abandoned hospital lab, teen guys find experimental "undead" woman they can fuck any time they want...as long as she stays tied up. ~ Don't Go in the House ( John Galt ) Gasoline-doused, AOH-bound GIMP gets the flamethrower treatment. ~ Exposed aka Diary of a Rape aka Exponerad ( John Galt ) Featuring the star of the GIMP's Christina Lindberg Appreciation Week. ~ Flesh+Blood ( Jefferson James ) Mean-spirited movie about medieval times with Jennifer Jason Leigh in gang-rape. ~ Graphic Sexual Horror ( Brutus ) Well-done documentary about the rise and fall of Insex.com. ~ I Spit On Your Grave: Unrated ( Elkcreek ) Modern remake produced a Camille Keaton vs. Sarah Butler debate. ~ Lipstick ( John Galt ) Incredible rape scene with supermodel Margaux Hemingway. ~ Megan Is Missing ( Ralphus ) Fine performances drive this story of two teenage galpals who mysteriously vanish. ~ Re-Animator ( John Galt ) Fan fave Barbara Crampton in outstanding "strapped-to-lab-table" scene. ~ Snuff-Movie ( Mr. 0 ) Lisa Enos is crucified in front of a large crowd of cult-followers. But wait, there's more. Five movies were actually rated A+. Tomorrow I will post these elite five. |

Sardu: My former master, I couldn't think of a better choice than you to finally review our movie, and you described it exactly the way I remembered it. God, that was such a long time ago, but what can I say? Good times, my friend. Good times! I knew you wouldn't mind, I had some personal snapshots I've kept all these years from when the documentary crew came by to film us, so I went ahead and added them to the text of your review. Of course, the really NASTY ones, the ones from the scenes that were so shocking they wouldn't even allow them in the movie...well, I'll hang on to those for now. Until they put out a DVD of the truly UNCUT version of our film, people will just have to wonder what they are missing. But I know you and I remember what we did to those girls...how could we ever forget? If you think about it, no WONDER they got cut from the film! Woo baby, that was hot! The direct link to your review is in my Homepage URL above. --------------------- YikYakker: Thanks for all the research you did on the reviews section. Still 5 more movies that actually got an A+? That's one thing I've never done, was give a perfect grade like that to a GIMP movie. A is as high as I've ever gone. But I am curious about these 5 films, because I don't know which 5 they are. Should be interesting to see what people think is the very best, the creme de la creme of the GIMP world. The series for Barbazul comes to an end tonight, and I'll issue a challenge for anyone who want to see any of these elite GIMP films highlighted at the top of the site. You have until 11:00 PM on Saturday night to vote for your favorite movie off the lists that YikYakker has posted over the past few days. Mind you, there's no guarantee I'll be able to fulfill your request, but I do have Netflix and a whole bunch of movies already in my collection I can cap. So let me make this a one day poll, and it's up to you to get out the vote, and you have to hurry. You have just under 24 hours. Whatever film gathers the most votes wins. GIMP POLL: Help me out, guys. This is your site, let's hear from you. Get out the vote! |

My vote is: "Head of the Family" with a nice almost-BATS scene with Jacqueline Lovell. Head of the Family was the most erotic funny gimp movie I've seen and was meant to be satire of horror movies. If any Gimpers want a good laugh, check it out. Really funny. Bill K. |

I agree with Bill K. about Jacqueline Lovell in Head of the Family. She was a revelation...in so many ways. But my favorite candidate for Pic o' the Day series would be The Abductors. So many hot babes and scenarios crammed into one movie. |

I'm sorry that I have bad news. Today at noon Amy's dad passed away. She's preparing to travel to the US in the next hours. We're all very sad. He was very supportive of Amy's work, art and career. He is the person who created the Heskinator, that capable young woman who can do anything. We're glad that before he was sick he saw Amy bloom into a full fledged film director. She saw him last in December. I'll have more later. |

Well, only one more day before the Oscars. In years past, what I anticipated most from this award show was finding out which surprising, new, hot chick George Clooney had on his arm. But it looks like it'll be Stacy Keibler again, no surprise there. As far as movie line-ups go, I think we've got the best show right here. Now this next group of movies all received A+ ratings from our reviewers. This is a very special classification - the movies may not have broad appeal among GIMPers, but each offered something that just knocked the reviewer's socks off. So I've used the reviewers' own words in the descriptions. ~ Dagon ( Sardu ) "...an instant cult classic...an interesting mix of camp and horror...and a GIMP scene that is the absolute epitome of Damsel in Distress." ~ Defenceless ( Bobjones ) "It's like I Spit On Your Grave ate an Ingmar Bergman film." ~ Megan Is Missing ( DHT ) "..some real shocks and a very dramatic reveal that really punched me right in the face." ~ Spaceship Terror ( Sardu ) "Nudity, bondage, torture, all well done, well acted very convincingly in a low budget indie production makes this a must see/have." ~ They All Must Die ( Hiccup ) "...forced stripping scene and (gang) rape...with excellent acting, humiliation and nudity." I've only seen two of these flicks: Dagon, of course, has the inimitable scene with Raquel Meroni suspended naked over a monster pit. I think aspiring film-makers - and even experienced ones - can learn a lot from watching that scene. Awesome. And as a horror film, it was a fun ride. Starts out kinda slow but hurtles toward an amazing climax. I had wanted to post something about Spaceship Terror a while back after I watched it as an Amazon rental. Yes, this was made on a skimpy budget by Harry Tchinsky, who visited the forum back when we were first talking about this movie. It's no longer available on Amazon, but Harry's website invites those interested in viewing the movie to find it on their favorite streaming site. What impressed me about Spaceship Terror were the energetic performances of the actresses. Oh yes, because the spaceship that has abducted them features oppressively warm temperature and humidity, they've got to strip down to skimpy tank tops and panties and spend the entire movie sweating (huzzah!). But without convincing performances, all of this would have fallen flat. I never got bored with it and watched it straight through without fast-forwarding. I don't know that I would award it such a high grade (I'm a pretty stingy grader), but I can see why Sardu liked it. It's a prime example of what film-makers can accomplish on a low budget with the right application of skill and dedication. |

Reine Margot: Please accept my apology for the awkwardness of my post, which immediately followed your news about the death of Amy's father. Apparently we were composing our posts at the same time, and I did not see yours at the moment I submitted mine. I wouldn't want anyone to think I was being insensitive about this tragic event. Thank you for sharing this information with all of us. I have heard that a girl's positive relationship with her father can contribute significantly to an adult life marked by confidence, creativity and healthy self-esteem. Given what we know of The Heskinator, we can be grateful for what her father has accomplished. May they both find peace. |

It was not totally unexpected, since her dad had been sick, but it's always sad news when it happens. My own dad passed away 10 years ago, so I have an idea what she's going though. And I'm sure, to a man, that we all feel sympathy for Amy and wish her the very best in her time of need. Given the timing of the circumstances, I've postponed the voting on the GIMP Poll. Here's some good news for Netflix Streaming users...Shallow Ground is available. I checked the two eye-popping suspension scenes and it appears that they have not been edited in any way. The first occurs at about the 10-minute mark (a little gory, the victim has a nasty gash on her chest) and the more lengthy action with Natalie Avital takes place at about the 50-minute mark. I vote for "The Abductors". That movie has a special place in my life. I saw it on tape when I was probably 14; and fantasized about getting abducted by a gang like that for the next 4 years... I'm afraid one has to be 14 (or less), not to see the plot holes*, but, it had some VERY nice visuals and the IDEA behind the story was like: "my fantasy"! I've always wished they would remake this movie, correcting the obviously really dumb stuff and making it a little "harder"; but not too much. I liked the fact that the girls did NOT get murdered at the end. *Looking at it with a more adult eye (and I have watched this film at least a dozen times since then, too) the classic example of WTF is: when the girls are abducted at the beginning, the abductors make them strip down to their panties (OK, fair enough). But when they kidnap the first detective, they allow her to keep her top while they take her away. (well, OK, maybe they are just getting lazy) But when they walk in on Ginger to take her away, she is naked to begin with. And they have her get dressed! (WTF?) |

First, my condolences to Amy and her family. YikYakker: Thanks so much for culling the top-rated, mainstream GIMP films from the reviews page. Although the grades, particularly the high ones, often reflect the predilections of the reviewers, IMO it's still an interesting and generally worthy list. One thing which struck me is how some of the older titles were obviously written, directed or otherwise created by someone who was deliberately targeting a GIMP audience (unlike "straight" films which include just one or two GIMP scenes as frissons for the masses). Mainstream movies aimed squarely at GIMPers included the Ginger series and various female spy titles, the Ilsa flicks as well as other Nazi exploitation and chicks-in-chains films, I Spit on your Grave and the rape-revenge genre, and unapologetically misogynistic fare like much of Jess Franco's stuff and, yes, Bloodsucking Freaks. Films like these were made first and foremost to show women in peril. They were created, if not necessarily by GIMPers, at least with people like us in mind. And almost all were released between the mid 1960's and early 80's. I suppose the emergence of home video (and later the internet) drove mainstream GIMP, just like porn, from the theaters into the bedroom. The grindhouse and raincoat markets vanished, and so did the gloss and high(er) production values. Sure, we now have access to a plethora of fetish clips and a few devoted producers are trying to keep the dream alive, but the days of the classic, (relatively) big-budget GIMP production are long gone and unlikely to return. So instead of awarding an A to a mainstream film which showcases superlative female peril from beginning to end, the best we can do these days is be amazed by a single choice scene or two in an otherwise vanilla production. I guess I've always realized this, but seeing the top-tier titles in YikYakker's selection, I'm reminded of how much more GIMPery we enjoyed in the classics of the past than we do in the mainstream releases of today. |

Thanks for the mainstream gimp updates. And great find on the Iris clip. That thing is a keeper. Why can't we get a Natalie Portman or Rachel Bilson scene of this quality? One can only dream. There are a few mainstream films that aren't in our review section and definitely should be on any mainstream gimp list: First my all time favorite: FAIR GAME w/ Cassandra Delaney. She's hot, she's alone and she's constantly in merciless peril. While it doesn't include a conventional rape she is topless, constrained on a truck rack, molested and beaten, and chased, and in a fight for her life. Plus she is damn hot. And the gimpage occurs for about 30-40 minutes. RAPE SQUAD w/ Jo Ann Harris An honest 5-10 minute rape scene with a topless, and later bottomless mainstream actress who was a regular in a couple of TV series. She was one of the hottest actresses of the seventies and she was kicked, punched in the face and generally manhandled by a masked rapist. She also is in a rape scene late in the movie that is interrupted by her "gang" of female avengers. BEREAVEMENT w/ Alexandra Daddario and one or two (I can't remember how many). They are tied overhead, molested and (except Daddario) murdered. She is stunning and the other victim isn't half bad either. This movie is far better than the Rites of Spring with the stupid Goathead. Daddario is also tied spread eagle and molested on the new Chainsaw flick with a shirt all the way open down the middle, they had to use tape to keep those babies from exploding out. But she is a great victim and it's a great ride. I will get a review to Ralphus on this one. |

Here's a heads up for nightly TV watching, a must see this week on the FX show "The Americans". During the preview of this week's show Keri Russell is whipped with a belt and then later you see her take her shirt off to what are very realistic marks. Not too bad for mainstream TV. |

Another movie not on the list, and my favorite GIMP one of all: Opposing Force, with the Lisa Eichhorn rape scene. Sure, it's lame by today's standards, but in 1987...it was great. I'll also second the call for Fair Game. |

I came across this fan-made trailer for Wonder Woman that features some GIMP material. It begins with Wonder Woman held in captivity by Nazis and we briefly see her tied up and beaten during an interrogation. It's over much too soon as is to be expected. This may be interesting news to some of you. The new Tomb Raider is being criticized by some as being torture porn
As we know..."Criticized for being torture porn" can on a rare sometimes mean good things (though often we see it as simply meh and toned down even when called too extreme by "normal" people.) Of course, you probably wouldn't bother playing just for the off chance there might be good GIMP scenes if you are simply not a fan of video games or women that "aren't real" (whatever definition you want to apply for what IS real when considering fiction is up to you of course). If you are though, I'd at least keep note of it and maybe check youtube for when the inevitable scenes start to appear via recorded playthroughs. |

Picture of the day I would say this is mid 60s if not later. That clock looks like something any person in the military stationed in Germany would buy and send home. Any proper girl in the 50s would either have stockings or bobby sox. You know you had to be careful what you sent to the local drug store to get developed. If the person that did the photo work or the person at the drug store was a prude you wouldn't get the picture. I used to see ads in the dirty books about uncensored photo developing. I think that is why the Polaroids were such a great invention. |

Daniel: I was just thinking the same thing. The asymmetry of those door knobs is very distracting for some reason. Maybe if we turned the girl around for a full frontal view, we could focus on her knobs. ---------- Dr. Yuya: Thanks for sharing that article about the new Tomb Raider. I'm not a gamer, but I found that the ensuing discussion, especially about the alleged rape of Lara Croft, echoed some of the themes we talk about here on this forum. For example, does the following not sound like it could have been written by a GIMPer? I was under the impression that there aren't any supernatural elements, and this version, at least, was supposed to be far more dark and desperate. So the fact that her kidnapper inappropriately touches her for about two seconds before she wrestles his gun away and shoots him in the face makes perfect sense to me in that context and doesn't seem cheap at all. We've already established that the designers would be quite unlikely to use sexual assault against a male protagonist, but would there be such an uproar if they did? Why is Deliverance so highly acclaimed and considered a classic, when it uses male rape as part of the story? Is female rape a cheap thrill, but male rape daring and edgy? Or is it because this is a video game, and apparently video games shouldn't try to tell stories like this? Or is this a call to authors and game designers to only torture their characters in politically-correct, gender-neutral ways? Seriously, I've seen more inappropriate groping of Olive Oyl in the old Popeye cartoons. |

Sorry to interrupt the Red Feline commercial. But back to the forum subject at hand of mainstream films. I posted a link to the rape scene in Rape Squad (Act of Vengeance). I'm amazed YouTube has left it up for three years. But as you can see Jo Ann Harris is indeed the real deal. And this is a great mainstream scene. There are DVD's available of this in far better quality. Dr Yuya: Thanks for the news story about Tomb Raider. After reading the article and the responses that followed it, and then looking at the trailer, it seems like most of the fuss is about the supposed attempted rape scene. What was it, 2 seconds of groping while her hands are tied behind her? Maybe there's more to it in the actual game, but it seems pretty innocuous to me. I don't play video games and maybe older kids are the primary audience, but they've also got a "may contain content inappropriate for children" warning at the start, and I assume on the game itself. That should be enough. As for the torture porn aspect, that seems rather ridiculous. I like the fact that she's suspended upside-down, but other than that, I didn't see much that would lead to an accusation like that. BTW, did it bother anyone else that while she was hanging upside-down, her hair remained flush up against her face? With all the work they put into the computer animation, you would think they would catch a basic error like that. ------------------------ A few days ago, I saw The Base listed a new movie called Riddle on their site that features an electroshock scene. Naturally, that type of content is too hot for Netflix (I can't believe I pay money every month to these censoring bastards). Anyway, I stopped by my local video store and they had it on display in the New Releases section so I grabbed it up. The whole movie itself isn't worthy of a review, since it only has the one GIMP scene at the end, but it's a very nice scene indeed. Blonde cutie Elisabeth Harnois gets strapped down to a gurney by a psycho and given ECT torture several times in a scene that was longer than I expected. The movie itself is a decent horror thriller, definitely watchable mainly because of the fresh-faced heroine-turned-victim. I love watching pretty girls suffer.
BTW, I just tried to click on The Base's site and had my access denied. Anybody else get this message or is it just me? What I read says "This blog is open to invited readers only." Huh? So I may have to take back my statement that they are a valuable service to the bondage community. Apparently now they want to keep everybody else away or else decide for themselves who they're going to let in. To be honest, I never noticed the knobs at all, even after looking at the picture intently after you brought it up. Because all I saw was a half-naked girl tied to a chair with a gag in her mouth. Everything else was irrelevant. ------------------------ YikYakker wrote: Maybe if we turned the girl around for a full frontal view, we could focus on her knobs. That'll be coming tonight. And there'll be at least one cabinet doorknob on display, so knock yourselves out. |

Ralphus, thanks for the heads up on Riddle. It's in the Netflix queue too. I'll definitely check my local Family Video. Blockbuster has totally pulled out of my neighborhood. |

Again with "The Base"? I warned you guys that when I went there it tried to give me a Trojan virus. I have Kaspersky, and the Russians don't fuck around, so it didn't get through, but I sure as hell wouldn't go there a second time. |
