Tortured women
Re: Tortured women
OK.... let's get the (slow motion) party started! I'm using DAZ Studio (3Dlight render engine) and the V4/M4 figure series. In some cases I've employed an A.I. assist via Bloom, which can enhance a photo or render. This piece is such a case, as 912 gets "escorted" to Videodrome playground. Of course we start off mild... we gotta leave room to build!

Re: 912 at Videodrome
She's beyond 'good enough'. She could easily be 912's twin sister. Good job.Arcas wrote: ↑Tue Jan 20, 2026 4:45 pmYeah, I built her on the Victoria 4 model. I wish I had some magic bullets to recommend on getting the likeness right, but it's all grueling trial and error, with photo reference assist. I think there are a couple of things I could do to get the likeness even better, like work the eyebrows more, but I'm feeling it's "good enough" - at least at the moment. Good luck if you try your own, I'd love to see the results! She's certainly a popular "celeb" in our genre crowdwilliej wrote: ↑Tue Jan 20, 2026 11:14 am I absolutely love this idea Arcas. Ann-Marie is undoubtedly my all-time favourite sub and your render of her is beautiful. Presumably you created her in Daz yourself using a photo of her face to achieve the likeness? I ask because I'd love to try and create her myself and have her be a star of a future render series of my own.![]()

One thing I've loved about your renders is the facial expressions, and the redness around sometimes bloodshot eyes. The treatment you give that area shows her fear and suffering so well one can almost hear the moaning and whining coming from behind the gag. I notice a touch of that in her eyes already, and the mascara of course.

A typical Arcas image, albeit in a slightly more modern guise. Simply fantastic. When I started working with DazStudio, your images in particular inspired me.Arcas wrote: ↑Tue Jan 20, 2026 5:06 pm OK.... let's get the (slow motion) party started! Re: 912 at Videodrome
Hi! Appreciate the shout out, big fan of your work.
I haven't since I don't want to use other people's work without permission. I used a couple of Wulf's and one of Willie's only because they're on this forum so I could check.
But I certainly will if you let me.

Katie Dee in Training Katie being tortured. She has no idea who they are or what they want.
Except to hear her screams...

It's great to have you back. I truly admire your work and have collected a large number of your images. And to come back with Videodrome is another plus. Videodrome has always been an obsession with me, I can't wait to see how it develops. Thanks for sharing your work.Arcas wrote: ↑Tue Jan 20, 2026 5:06 pm OK.... let's get the (slow motion) party started! I'm using DAZ Studio (3Dlight render engine) and the V4/M4 figure series. I know, I know.... I got too excited and smeared the mascara from the start. It's like opening presents before X-Mas.... I really should control my impulses. Thanks for the appreciative words on my expressions. I do focus quite a lot of time on trying to get them - if not right, then at least satisfyingly dramatic. As you say, they can really help deliver a visceral reaction to the work, done right. But it's tough to find that balance point between too much and too little. It's a kind of uncanny valley target.wulf wrote: ↑Wed Jan 21, 2026 12:34 am Tears are already flowing and he's not even started yet.![]()

Hey, were you on AoD?
Re: Tortured women
First, thanks for the nice words on my (often not very nice) work! I'm with ya Videodrome - especially back in the eighties, it was sort of an obsession. It's actually more potent in memory and imagined visuals behind the static-filled images than in reality. It was super cool when Criterion did their release and included all the Videodrome footage, w/o static.frog wrote: ↑Wed Jan 21, 2026 9:43 am It's great to have you back. Did you ever see my first Videodrome homage, done for an Art of Darkness art contest?
Re: 912 at Videodrome
I'd love to see what results. What piece(s) would you wanna try with?
