Er, as opposed to "beefcake"?

Well done, singlehandedly.

With all due respect, I disagree JD.
In a strictly empiricist way, you are right, of course. In a practical way, the one that give meaning to our interactions with the environment, probably not. Are you aware that in this very second, on the second arm of the Magellan cloud two binary dwarf stars collapses with an incredible spectacle of fireworks? It's probably true but you don't care because it doesn't affect you. See, our human brains have a finite processing ability and we take shortcuts. We discard whatever doesn't present relevance to our existence. So, in a way, the tree falls on deaf ears. We also operate with stereotypes, despite all the PC contrary to this. Trees falling, branches falling, water flowing in a creek/stream/river, birds chirping/calling, the snuffling of a bear...
The sounds are there, regardless.
Actually, "in this very second" has no meaning, unless you subscribe to an absolutistic universal time.doe.1971 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 28, 2025 9:51 pmIn a strictly empiricist way, you are right, of course. Could have been better for kink lovers, of course but still an interesting find.
