Er, as opposed to "beefcake"? :P

Well done, singlehandedly.

Anakin was always clumsy with his romantic interests and following Jedi code and their restraints didn't get him anywhere. Now, the Sith Lords on the other hand ...

PS My little experiment is basically over. Including me, 10 certifiable humans. Roughly 1500 views. I find difficult to believe there are 1490 of lurkers out there, each of them a person. 150 lurkers/registered fella. We can probably ask for a spot in the Book of Records with such performances.

Going parallel with the tree that falls unheard in the forest, if a lurker watches a brainfart of mine, is that actually happening? My gut feeling is no.

With all due respect, I disagree JD.

The reasoning is this; any event happening in a forest creates sound pressure waves, regardless if there's any human there to see/hear it. Trees falling, branches falling, water flowing in a creek/stream/river, birds chirping/calling, the snuffling of a bear...
The sounds are there, regardless.

Like La Reine Margot said, bots don't get past the first level of "security". Therefore, everyone that accesses a file on the GIMP forum has to be a person. Now whether or not that person finds value in the file that he/she accessed, that's unknown, but they put their mark on it, even if it's only statistical.

IMHO, of course.

In a strictly empiricist way, you are right, of course. In a practical way, the one that give meaning to our interactions with the environment, probably not. Are you aware that in this very second, on the second arm of the Magellan cloud two binary dwarf stars collapses with an incredible spectacle of fireworks? It's probably true but you don't care because it doesn't affect you. See, our human brains have a finite processing ability and we take shortcuts. We discard whatever doesn't present relevance to our existence. So, in a way, the tree falls on deaf ears. We also operate with stereotypes, despite all the PC contrary to this. Lazy brains.

Actually, "in this very second" has no meaning, unless you subscribe to an absolutistic universal time.

A decent movie about the junta and their creative use of electricity in Paraguay of the 70s. Could have been better for kink lovers, of course but still an interesting find.

Breadcrumbs 2016.

I disagree JD, this isn't just decent. It's actually one of the best series of scenes of this type I've ever seen.
