I'm against masks in a safe environment because a mask depersonalizes a kidnapper. So the girl may think that she was kidnapped by a sick person, a lunatic. But if she seas a perfectly sane, educated person with whom she can talk about novels, philosophy, music (I'm not thinking on Cannibal Corpse here, we'll listen to that when torturing begin
