Let me preface this by saying that when I look at some of the bondage material I used to collect when I was younger, a lot of it doesn't really do it for me now like it used to. It could be that I've gotten jaded after decades of access to some of the most nasty hardcore rape and torture scenes ever created. It probably stated with my first exposure to Japanese bondage and the HOM bondage classics. Then I got hooked on ZFX and then on even more nasty Japanese movies, such as the Attackers series. We're talking the crème de la crème of bondage entertainment.

And now when I look at my old highlights tapes filled with mainstream scenes of fully clothed damsels in distress, a lot of them seem...boring. Some of them still stand up today, like the electro scene in Fatal Pulse, for instance. I still get turned on by scenes of torture and rape; other scenes where the girls is simply just tied up and gagged...not as much. Sometimes it just feels like fast-forward material. And yet 20 years ago when I first saw them, I couldn't wait to make my personal copies for my collection.

It could be that maybe as I've gotten older, I've simply become more refined and more selective in what I like. Anybody heard that people who watch pornography are like drug users, in that they have to find stronger and stronger material every time to get them off? Years ago I might have scoffed at that. And now today, I'm not so sure. Maybe that has some validity. I really don't know, to be honest with you.

Tonight, out of curiosity, I checked out the last week of Brian's Page to see what the discussions were about. Anyway, that leads me to the following subject:

Do most mainstream scenes (such as in movies, TV shows, etc.) of bound and gagged women turn you on? I'm talking about scenes with no nudity, torture, rape...mainly just girls tied up and little else. Or does something bad have to happen to her for the scene to do it for you? On the whole, do you feel a scene has to be more "extreme" to be worthwhile? And do you feel like your viewing tastes have changed over the years?

Just throwing out some questions and hoping to get some opinions from our diverse crew of perverts and sick fucks. Let's hear some feedback. Surely everyone here has an interest in this topic since this is what we like to watch and talk about, otherwise we wouldn't be here. Take a few minutes and tell us what you think. OTOH, I find many of the old scenes "from the beginning" still appealing to me. The Flash Gordon scene with Ornela Muti or the scenes in Fair Game (the good one with Cassandra Delany) still wake the ole boy up even though they weren't nude and didn't have any forced orgasm. In fact they do far more then many of the J flicks with little or no physical abuse, that are supposed to be "rape" but appear very consensual. This is one of the reasons I find many mainstream scenes far more appealing, even if the girl isn't nude and the rape is only implied. Speaking of this. On the Mainstream front, a couple of points of interest. I received my unrated copy of Doomsday and the initial DID scene is indeed longer with Rhona Mitra questioned some more after she is in the chair with her arms tied in front. Also the scene where Katherine (Emma Cleasby) is tied AOH and branded is longer and a bit more graphic then the theatrical version. All in all Doomsday is certainly one of the best GIMP efforts from the mainstream side in a long time.

One other flick of note is "Boot Camp" with Mila Kunis. While it doesn't have extended tie up scenes and is more of a WIP effort then a bondage flick their are several scenes of interest. Mila is knocked out (drugged) and tied with zip ties in front. One of the other female actresses is raped. And the movie has several fairly graphic physical abuse scenes where Mila is beaten by multiple assailants. One of particular interest has a soaked helpless Mila laying face up after a severe beating. It is fairly believable, and as a bonus has a Mila topless scene. While Mila is only tied once and not raped, she is most certainly in peril and a helpless victim in this one. Definitely worth checking out. It has not been released in the US, but it does show up on eBay occasionally (released in the UK) and the region 2 (Europe) versions are available on line. I paid about $20 with shipping on the bay and it was worth every penny.

Poll: Ralphus, the history of my viewing tastes seems to follow along the same lines as yours. I won't even bother looking at some of the tame stuff on TV anymore. But when I was much younger, I'd scour the TV Guide just for the possibility of seeing these non-action scenes. Now, they sort of remind me of the boring love bondage stuff. First let me say I'm sure my tastes have changed over the years, but I would say that my tastes have become more discerning than when I was younger.

One of my absolute favorite scenes of all time is the scene from the original "House of Wax" where the damsel is stripped naked (implied), bolted down with steel restraints, while boiling wax is about to be poured on her.

The scene is well played, and the bondage is well done. The struggling naked feet, naked legs, emotive face of Phyllis Kirk, and devilishing menacing Vincent Price makes this one of the best mainstream bondage scenes in movie history.

The above link to the Scarlett Scorpion sawmill scene is cartoonish, but IMHO, hot as hell.

I don't really need the damsel to die, or there to be blood. The bondage needs to be convincing, as does the peril situation. I think the rack scene from Living Death to be one of the best in movie history... although the snapping of the damsel's leg in the end spoils it for me.

I do like sexual torture, though, but it is so hard to find something well done. Pliers on the nipples, or electrical torture is awesome. Whipping can be interesting, but it is difficult to find a well done scene. The WSIMD is full of lame scenes. The pussy whipping scene in the Story of O is a classic.

Some movies I would have enjoyed even a few years ago would probably do little for me now. But I don't worry that I'm getting jaded. The reality is I have seen better quality movies and now have higher standards.

I was forced to confront the issue of evolving tastes last year when changes were made to the Movie Reviews Index. Ralphus asked me to assign letter grades to a number of my reviews that didn't originally have grades. This forced me to go back and give a grade assessment to films that may have been reviewed as early as January 2005 (the Japanese films Devil School and Insulted Raped Female Avenger, and ZFX's The Dentist). I decided the only honest way to assign letter grades was to rate the movies according to what I thought at the time I posted the reviews. But I know my tastes have changed. Based on my current standards, I don't think a film like Insulted Raped Female Avenger would get as high a grade today, although I still think Ayana Nanjou is gorgeous and there was some good stuff in that movie.

So I'm not surprised that others are finding their tastes are changing, and stuff they may have enjoyed in the past no longer works for them. I think there are a number of factors at work:

• A changing perspective: The more access you have to great movies, the higher you set the bar

• The surprise factor: A bondage scene is never as great as the first time you see it. That's because you don't know what is going to happen. You might be able to enjoy a scene more than once, but that element of mystery and excitement is gone after the first viewing

• Over-viewing: I'm sure everyone can think of a scene (or scenes) that has been watched too many times, ultimately lessening its impact. The rubber hose scene at the start of South of the Border 4 would be a good example in my case.

For me, I think us GIMPers differ with most people on say brianspage in that just having actresses/models bound and/or gagged doesnt really do it for us. As far as how tastes have evolved over the years, I used to love any arms behind or (especially) AOH scene I could get my hands on before, especially in action cartoons (April O'Neill anyone?) when I was younger and syndicated series, both from mainstream TV/movies. Now, I dont watch cartoons or keep tabs on syndicated TV series (are those even around anymore?) but do get TV show and movie leads from the GIMP board and brianspage. That was a fine piece of sadism which got me going. So it wasn´t a girl in merciless peril, ok. But it was still good sadism and all I had to do, was for my mind to switch Orlando Bloom with Keira Knightly being held underwater...and there we are.

I still remember the one that got me started, but I don't remember the title. It starts with some hot Brunette in a red dress tied up is in some creepy warehouse. She sees a variety of sexual torture devices lying around as she struggles, including a steel spiked dildo, which she makes very fearful eyes at. Next she is chained by the neck with the chain attached overhead. The noose chain is tight, and she's on her toes. Blood begins pouring from between her legs. This goes on for a few minutes, then she passes out, fade to black.

The next scene has her tied spread to a saw spike saw horse! She struggles, and the camera shows some close ups of her pussy with the spikes sort of sticking in it. Then the masked guy comes back in and starts menacing her with needles, which he then starts pushing into her tits. He graphically pushes needles directly into her nipples until just the round red head is sticking out. Blood is coming out of the various punctures.

Sound in mainstream films is half the picture! But that's cause they do it so well (not talking about B-movies here, just the major mainstream pictures). Unfortunately, sound for bondage vids is not very well done, but their budgets are a lot smaller. Bad sound vs no sound is bit of a toss up for me, but I lean toward no sound vs bad sound, cause bad sound can actually detract from what's going on in the picture. Note that I edited the poll. Not only do mainstream scenes do nothing for me, neither do "fetish" scenes unless there's more to them than "bound and gagged" -- nudity, for a start. And that's just a start. Where it goes from there -- peril, "snuff", whipping, forced sex, etc -- any number of things will make it work, but just the bare scene don't do Jack.

I wouldn't say I've become jaded. It's more that as I explore what makes me turned on, I can refine what to look for. The death scenes in some movies (I just got one of "Slayer" where a girl gets a pitchfork in the back and it comes out under her tits) still make me hard. A cute girl slowly dying, or cruelly beaten or raped (or several of the above) spanks my monkey, regardless of mainstream of "fetish".

Firstly, I'm assuming that the first part of the poll question implies that even though there is no torture/violence/nudity, that these things are threatened. Otherwise, I can't imagine how the scene would actually come about, unless it was done as a consensual joke (which has no interest at all for me). Either way, ropes themselves do nothing for me in pictures or films. (They do in real life, though, but much in the same way as fully vanilla sex does - just because I might enjoy doing it doesn't mean I want to watch someone else doing it).

If there is implied violence, then it would depend exactly on the nature of that violence, and how well the scene is acted. I can't think of any perfect examples right now, but, for example, the scene in Hostel II when the girl who ends up getting the circular saw treatment is good when she's being prepared, but just gets stupid when the violence actually begins.

I think my viewing tastes have changed over the years, but not just in the direction of being more extreme, although that's part of it. I'll give you an example - nipple clamps. When I saw my first ever bondage magazine (already in my very late teens), just the idea that such a thing as nipple clamps existed blew my mind, and I looked out for any magazines that showed them being used. Then, when I first saw it used in a film, (and quite well, I must say), that did it for me as well. However, a few years ago, when I came across Insex and saw how they used clamps in such an over the top and super cruel way, when I look back at those old scenes and magazines I feel nostalgia, but not much more.

The point of that to the poll? Mainstream bondage scenes almost always have the damsel clothed... that's essential for most TV, and even movies I guess want to keep a ratings that will allow the most tickets to be sold... and a nude, bound woman would probably wreck an R rating... but I've gotten used to the clothes coming off.

The second thing is camerawork... take one of my favorite movies, Swamp Thing with Adrienne Barbeau... a fantastic body in as few clothes as you're likely to get.. but you see her onscreen for a few seconds here or there, then the camera cuts to whatever action the hero or villain is doing but I've gotten used to the camera following the bound beauty for 99% of the scene.

Frankly, there is one way I miss the bondage I found on mainstream venues... the "Perils of Pauline" atmosphere you uually get with a bound damsel... I far prefer a damsel tied to the train tracks over squabbling with a roommate or being sexually abused, but the bondage sites I now turn to for nudity and focus on the bondagette rarely feature the diabolical schemes that villains placed their heroines into... it's a pity.

The woman doesn't have to be naked but it does add to it.

The image of Noel Neil's Lois Lane tied to a train track struggling to get free I do find arousing. Of course, it would be even more so if she wore less. But the idea of a known actress at least being hinted at sexual jeopardy can get me more excited than some standard unknown actress in an extreme movie tied up for 10 minutes followed by another 10 minutes of nipple torture. That's fun, but it can be ho hum real fast.

One of the reasons I like "The Accused" so much is that you actually get to see a known actress like Jodie Foster held down while her clothes are being torn apart and she's marathon raped.

I just wish these days we could see more bondage in mainstream movies like in 40's and 50's in a Grade B detective movie in which a hot dame was tied to a chair while the crooks got away. But you don't see that anymore.

Also in the mix was another great company Golden Ram Productions (released through Tao Productions ... the folks who brought you Sadistic Sweethearts, Hooked Up Hooker, etc...) and whose other company Fantasy Fotos, produced some of the best and hardest SM sets for some of Taos better publications and rivaled classic HOM mags with babes, welts, cigarette burning, nail bras, dildos, etc. Unfortunately, the feds went after Fantasy Fotos and shut them down for using an under aged model ... yikes, they came knocking on my door and confiscated all orders for evidence in the case. Regarding the Poll, I, like Ralphus, collected clips when I was younger ... TV, movies, as long as the girl was attractive, it caught my attention. Now-a-days, mainstream doesn't really hold a candle to BDSM porn, whether it be classic 70's & 80's, or the current cream of the crop ... which cater to tastes (pretty much anything goes) ... rather than just wet appetites (can't really cross the line ... unless it is torture porn (Hostel/Saw), which is not my taste). Attackers JBD-119, directed by Randa Mai, is good but not great. It has a hot star, Alice Hoshi, and some nice scenes, particularly some strong whipping scenes. But ultimately this movie lacks a bit of the intensity needed to put it over the top. It's worth seeing but keep your expectations in check.

The story, I believe, is about a conflict among criminals. Alice and her male partner sit down at the home of a competing villain (Randa) and his partner to sort out their differences. But it doesn't work out, and Randa and his guy soon overpower Alice and her buddy and knock them out.

Alice is next seen lying on the floor, passed out, in her one-piece, zebra-striped strapless dress. Alice is a fine-looking woman. She has nicely coiffed brown hair, a pretty face with big, full lips, and a slender body with an impressive waist and remarkably large, natural breasts. Off to the side, Alice's partner is seated in a corner, also passed out, with his shirt removed and his hands cuffed in front of him.

Randa pulls down the top part of Alice's dress to expose her huge boobs, which Randa fondles. Randa ties some ropes around Alice's chest area, so the ropes tie her arms firmly behind her back and ropes run above and below her breasts. Randa and his buddy move Alice, who's still passed out, into a standing position, and tie her to a rope from the ceiling. As his buddy helps hold the passed-out Alice in an upright standing position, Randa removes Alice's dress, so that Alice's sexy body is stripped down to nothing but some black G-string panties.

The second villain lets go of Alice and the standing beauty's head slumps forward as she remains tied to the ceiling. Randa decides it's time to wake Alice as only he would -- by whipping her. Alice dances a bit and continues to whimper, and often responds to the crack of the whip by jolting her head back sharply and yelping.

Randa pauses to tie Alice's feet together and to then tie more ropes around Alice's chest and waist, wrapping the ropes around the top of her breasts to make her large boobs point out like balloons. He also teases Alice by slowly and carefully removing her G-string panties, which Randa then holds to his face to sniff. Alice, who is tough, stays quiet, with a disgusted look on her face as she rolls her eyes.

The action cuts to a somewhat new scene, where Alice is again tied in a standing position, her arms still firmly bound behind her back. Her body has been cleaned up and the wax marks are gone. Randa ties Alice's right leg in the air and proceeds to whip Alice again with the flogger. The second villain then places a vibrator in Alice's pussy and works on her pussy, making Alice grunt and squirm. As the vibrator work continues, Randa -- standing behind Alice -- reaches around and plays with Alice's knockers, massaging her melons and tickling her nipples. Alice cries in pain, and at times her legs appear to give out as her agony overwhelms her. This scene also has nice close-ups of the welts on Alice's waist.

In a final brief scene, Alice's feet are tied to the ceiling rope, and she is hoisted in the air upsidedown, with her bound hands still on the floor. Alice lets out some final squeals and the movie ends.

My grade: B

When you have a sexy woman like Alice Hoshi appearing in a movie like this, you have to give the film a decent grade. And this movie has some fine moments -- I would say some of the whipping scenes are better than average for a Randa Mai flick. At the same time, though, much of this movie felt mechanical and repetitive. Attackers JBD-119 is definitely recommended although it could have been better.

In most scenes on TV, isn't something "bad" happening when the ropes come out (except maybe to Kelly Bundy)?

I prefer them clothed (to start out) with rope work that is "real"...I saw one show years ago where the star got tied (finally) but the ropes looked like they wrapped her wrists,(loosely) and let her hold the ends in her clenched hands.

My tastes have changed somewhat over the years, as I learned how to restrain my play mates, and realized that what I was seeing on TV and in some movies wouldn't restrain a statue.

Matt: Last Orgy of the Third Reich is another one of those GIMP classics, made during a time when Nazi sexploitation films were still in vogue, a genre that sadly ended after a few years in the late 1970s. This was a real nasty one, and a personal favorite of mine. I was lucky enough to obtain an original VHS back when I worked in video stores, but the film is still around if you do a search. This company has it on DVD, but I have no idea as to quality of the print. It's also out in some circles under the title Caligula Reincarnated as Hitler or The Gestapo's Last Orgy (the original title). I guess with wartime memories fading, the "slaves of the Nazis" genre faded away. Different times, different enemies; the 1980s had either Russians or North Vietnamese/VC as the bad guys. One bit of trivia: the first Ilsa movie was filmed at the same set used for Hogan's Heroes after that show was cancelled. Supposedly there was a naked prisoner hanging by her hands outside what was on Hogan's Heroes Col. Klink's office (and Ilsa's in the movie).

Poll Q: These are excellent topics! But its kind confusing to address each one within the same poll. Last week, I mentioned that JAV superstar Erika Sato is the star of the new Attackers movie, Shark Special 54. Well, wouldn't you know it, Erika announced Friday she is retiring. On another subject: I recently viewed a film called Shallow Ground which some of you may have seen. It's a lousy film IMO, but includes not one, but two naked women suspended from trees in separate scenes. These would have been good entries for youtied, but it's too late.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I have to recant what I told Brutus earlier about the the movie P2: There is a scene where Rachel Nichols has her wrists bound behind her back. But in answer to Ralphus' poll question: Yes, there are some mainstream scenes that turn me on, even though over the years I have developed a taste for more extreme things like torture, whipping, etc. P2 is a good example of a mainstream movie that does very little, but gets it right.

IMO, there are three elements that make a mainstream scene work: 1) Display - even if the girl is not naked, she should be clad in a sexy or revealing way. This emphasizes the shame, humiliation, or vulnerability inherent in her situation; 2) Restraint - even though I prefer AOH or spreadeagle positions, tied to a chair or cuffed to a radiator can work too; 3) Peril - even if the girl is not about to be tortured, whipped or chainsawed, the look in her eyes when she realizes her predicament can excite.

In P2, the lonely security guard removes her restraints because he wants to have a "date" with her. But for insurance, he has a vicious dog just inches away from her, and she's behind a locked door with no one else around to hear her scream. She's wearing a revealing gown that he dressed her in after chloroforming her. Rachel really sells the sense of danger, humiliation and hopelessness inherent in her situation. If done well in a mainstream movie, that's the kind of stuff that can turn me on.

I checked this morning and the YouTied site is still down. It's looking less likely that this is just a server problem.

Well, not necessarily. As a website owner (and I'm not talking about here), I've had my site go down on me before and I didn't know about it until I happened to do just a random check and discovered it missing. Don't forget that MasterDetective is on vacation and likely not monitoring the site, as it was obvious before since the illegal files were not getting removed. It's possible he's still in Brazil and doesn't even know it's down. He hasn't checked in here to post about it, either, which I would also expect one way or another. He's usually been good at giving us updates. So at this point we can only speculate as to what's going on.

Zen Pictures stuff is similar to the Ring Diva's Heroine torture series (Sarayu Blood Chronicles, Son of Seth). And the emphasis is definitely on physical punishment not sex. Also as a comparison to the GIGA flicks (another excellent company in this category), there are no rapes or nudity in a Zen Pictures flick. The first two are available from Ring Diva's, and the last one requires mail order from Japan. More about that later in Part 2.

Heroine Steel Angel: This flick showed a lot of promise the actress (Yu Seiki) is ridiculously hot. The first few scenes are weird to say the least. The soundtrack is corny to the point of irritating and while she looks great in the first fight scene in which she easily defeats her buffoonish villains, it's almost not enjoyable with the irritating sound track. After a couple of scenes with a scientist she is weakened by a cryptonite type glowing liquid. In one scene she is tied AOH and touched with a rod filled with the material. Unfortunately she doesn't really sell it. Next she is laid on a table, not tied, what a letdown, and the liquid is rubbed into her body. The scene is kind of a joke but she does look really hot, definitely vanilla. Finally she escapes and unfortunately runs into the original cartoon villains. Then she goes into a fight scene in which she is humiliated including stomach punches, kicks, and stomps. This scene is the only worthwhile scene in the movie. She sells it fairly well and her tight little body along with her tight little ass are on full display. The movie ends with her somehow recovering her powers and winning the day. Sorry for the spoilers but who cares about plots anyway?

Plusses: The chick is incredibly hot, she plays the victim pretty good. Minuses: Soundtrack, acting, lack of believable peril. C- only because did I mention she's hot?

Heroine Wonder Detective: This one stars Ai Nanase. She's a bit more endowed then most Japanese stars and again very hot. She starts out in a schoolgirl uniform. After a bar scene, she is menaced and attacked by four boys in a park. At first she wins easily and then they begin to overtake her, holding her for some belly punches. She slides away and morphs into a deliciously scanty bikini super-heroine costume. She then easily defeats the four boys while a villain is watching. The next scene (apparently a dream) she is tied AOH in her school girl costume and whipped, and then electrical tortured. The whipping scene is poor and not sold well, obviously fake. The electrical scene, while not Giga level, is sold well and believable. She is left lying limply, overall a B- scene.

In the next scene she is on a roof dressed deliciously in a tight top. She gets in a fight with some villain and just when she is about to be subdued she morphs into the original sweet costume. Then she begins to dispose of the villain who bears a resemblance to Michael Jackson, ugh. Then he throws the deadly liquid on her (who knows?) She is subdued and tied AOH. The next scene she receives some belly punishment but it is far too short. This is followed by liquid torture to her. This scene is a little better then the Steel Angel scene; the costume and her perfect endowments don't hurt. Overall it's not a bad flick and worth the $20 Ring Divas is asking for it. Grade B-. Did I mention the chick is hot?

Space Heroine Mary: The actresses name is Miko Hosono, and in case you're wondering, like all of Zen's other actresses she is hot, damn near perfect. This one interested me so much I had to buy it. It is not available from a North American source. More about that later. The movie starts out with the girl in a short skirt, white blouse and matching vest. Did I mention she has great legs? She walks into a convenience store. It is obvious the clerk develops a crush on her. She spends (far too much) time wandering around the store looking at merchandise before wandering up to the counter. At that point two gang bangers enter the store to rob the place. She defeats them easily in a fairly convincing fight. When they are out, they get up and take some drugs, then they enter the store again to attack her as drug crazed lunatics. This time the fight is much more intense and Mary gets knocked around a little bit but still defeats her foes.

In the next scene she is sitting on a park bench when a man in a military uniform and six ninjas appear. As she stands up to face them she suddenly feels weakened (how or why I have no idea). She is tossed around like a rag doll by the ninjas who take turns kicking her, stomach punching her, and generally beating her. She is finally knocked unconscious. This is a great scene, the kind of scene that is missing from so many of the Attackers style flicks. She does a great job of acting and sells it. I'll give it an A-; if she was more scantily clad it would be an A easy.

The next scene she awakes tied AOH in a bra and panties (looks more like a great bikini). Did I mention she has great tits and a nice flat stomach to go along worth the face of an angel? There is water dripping on her; she is cold (shivering) and soaked. The villains appear with electrical torture device. What follows is the best electro torture scene I've ever seen. She is bit gagged with a rag, and twists and contorts until she is finally barely conscious. The scene concludes with her laying on the floor of a cell. Overall, I'll give it an A; if she was topless it would have been an A +

In the next scene one of the ninjas sneaks into her cell. It turns out to be the store clerk who has come to save her. Next we see her sitting on the floor sharing a few moments with the clerk. She is now clothed in the original short skirt with a vest but no blouse. Then she attempts to escape and the clerk is shot. She attempts to get to a computer panel (evidently her objective). When she touches it, it burns her vest off, a plus. Then the man in the military uniform commands this giant of a man in a black spacesuit to attack her. What happens is a second devastating beat-down with some big time wrestling moves thrown in for good measure. These scenes are long, and that makes them better. She is punched, kicked, choked, thrown airborne and left barely able to stand. I won't spoil it this time.

Overall I give this effort an A. It would be an A plus if it included a rape or believable whipping scene and or some nudity. The girl is almost flawlessly hot, and she does a good job acting (almost Academy Award level) compared to many other J flicks. The costumes (normal clothing) were not nearly as distracting as some other efforts in this genre. Giga in particular has some terrible costumes.

Now the purchasing part. This DVD is not available in North America, I had found this source and decided to shoot the wad. It's about $65, almost $70 with shipping. But then again I've had 5-8 DVD orders of J films here that didn't produce as many total minutes of delicious gimp worthy action as this one did. And I've seen pricier stuff with far uglier chicks. Anyway I decided to try these guys.

And I would recommend them wholeheartedly. I ordered on Thursday night and received my order on Monday from Japan!!! They had excellent email communication. One note, be sure and look at the movie boxes to ascertain whether or not there region 0 DVD's or region 1's. Region 2 or 3 DVD's will not play on most American DVD players. This played flawlessly and were excellent quality original prints. Obviously it's more money and I would certainly be very picky about the stuff I ordered. But both Zen and Giga have huge catalogs with some great actresses that just aren't available thru the normal channels. At least this provides an alternative. They also have some intriguing stuff in other categories.

Poll question: No, mainstream bound & gagged scenes do nothing for me, and yes, it's because my viewing tastes have changed over the years. My theory is that this material is like a prohibited drug. The more we use it, the stronger the dose we need to get a good hit. S&S and similar sites: Yes, Ralphus the 'consensual' element is indeed a big minus, but many of the victims are just my type, and they suffer an occassional quality torture (albeit brief), so for me, it's worth the effort to use my imagination to block out the consensual stuff. If I knew how to work a film editor, I may make a a compilation of the best scenes from the 10 or so I've seen (but it would probably still be a relatively short clip). POLL QUESTION: I'm a bit mixed on what I still enjoy from the old days. My rather extensive collection of HOM (both silent loops and the newer stuff) does seem sort of lame now. Most of it is trite. Many clips from old mainstream, however, I still get off on. Considering that I often had to use my own imagination to fill in shortcomings, I can still have it "my way". The buildup and intensity of the scene is always the best element and mainstream usually delivers that part. Let's face it, some of that stuff is simply classic material. Loose bonds and daring rescues can be very frustrating, but a good setting or horrific scream can do a lot to make up for it.

The sale of ZFX movies at Video Mayhem now includes The Best of Lisa Kinkaid Sale. Of the titles listed here, my favorites are South of the Border 4: Atrocities and South of the Border 5: In the Flesh. I would also recommend Voodoo Dolls for the strange yet effective teddy bear scene.

The Best of Lisa Kinkaid Sale at Video Mayhem: My goodness, you might as well call it The Best of ZFX Sale while you're at it. Larry did a great job of picking 12 bonafide classics, all of which feature ZFX's most prolific star. The one obvious title he left out was maybe the greatest rape movie in ZFX's arsenal, The Apartment, but there's some really excellent movies in this collection, and I would recommend all of them. And wait, no Ballista 2? Still, I guess he couldn't pick everything or else he'd probably have 87 movies up there.

Frankly, there's no bad choices in this collection and she gets raped in at least half of them and treated very badly in all of them. Looks like I'm gonna have to pull out the old credit card again. At only 29 bucks a pop, it's hard to pass up these prices. There's not even an extra charge for shipping.

BTW, of the newest ZFX titles just released, clearly my favorite is Alien Probe, featuring an outstanding performance by one the most underrated actress in ZFX history, Holly Weston. While she wasn't classically beautiful, I still found her attractive and she gave really great performances in all of her movies for ZFX. She's probably best remembered for the final 3 Guinea Pigs titles but this is definitely her best film. Strongly recommended.

I also got to see When a Killer Calls the other day. It's been out a few years, but it took me this long to finally check it out. Our friend Kevin did a good job describing the GIMP scenes in his review and I would recommend it for fans of mainstream scenes. All three victims are attractive and 2 of them meet a nasty end, and the third, a cute blonde, is tied up AOH and gagged for a good 20 minutes in the film's final third. Also we get to see a bit of tit when he opens up her top while she's tied up. Some decent entertainment, definitely worth a rental.

I started thinking which is in itself trouble.

We had this discussion on my group where on one of the local bondage comic providers had one of those fancy little snippets where the tortured girls are saying how they get all turned on by performing in these bondage comics. They then do the comic and then go back to the old gee that was a swell comic and I hope they hire me again for some more.

I'm thinking that this is a comic what the heck is going on but then I saw it on another couple of the comics. Well if you have been looking at some of the other bondage movie and picture shoots they make a big deal of the girl walking into the shoot and talking and bonding then they go to the shoot and then later they end up in white terry cloth robes drinking bottled water and just showing everyone how they just got off something awful on being in bondage like they darn near wanted to pay the guy that was tying them up.

The Dead YouTied Sketch: It's now Day 7 of the YouTied disappearance and investigators have called off the search. People who understand the Internet insist this isn't a server problem and the site is truly gone. It is widely believed one of the producers who was being ripped off had the site shut down.

We haven't heard anything from MasterDetective, and I have a new theory about the reasons why. I am wondering if someone has launched legal action against him, and as part of that legal action, he is forbidden from talking about the site or its disappearance until the case is resolved. It seems crazy, but the mystery around the site's disappearance is truly bizarre. I have to believe MasterDetective spent some significant time working on that site before it launched. In the early days of YouTied, I know MD dedicated time to checking the site and encoding files. He couldn't just have forgotten about it....

I haven't seen the films where it is established up front that this is just fantasy, everyone's having fun, we all love each other dearly, etc. That would ruin the effect for me.

I watch my movies on DVD, and I don't mind when they do the all in good fun behind-the-scenes stuff after the fact, as a bonus feature. Attackers does that sometimes and so does I Energy. Rick has added bloopers and outtakes on some of his discs, as well. It means little to me, but I figure if it makes people feel better about what they just watched, there's no harm done. Sometimes, it is interesting to see what an actress is like out of character.

However, I would have no interest in seeing any of this stuff prior to the torture and rape scenes. I need to be able to enjoy the illusion when I watch the movie.

BP: Yeah, personally, I hate it when we see the introduction to a bondage shoot where the female is interviewed before and after (and sometimes even during) the session. On one hand, I do enjoy seeing what the girl is like in real life, but it also totally KILLS the fantasy that these are nonconsensual situations and takes a lot of the edge away. The first company I saw that did that a lot was Insex. Now, they did some very inventive work, but they are far from being my favorite because of the consensual nature of their product. It's more like Bondage Fear Factor than the Surprise Attack and Capture that a company like ZFX makes. I like the outtakes that Rick puts in his DVDs but he wisely keeps them out of the main production.

I think most of why we see it today is because companies are covering their collective asses in case anyone in the government thinks that their stuff might be illegal, so they make damn sure that the stills they release are prefaced by images of the performers smiling in the beginning and at the end of the shoot (here's a perfect example of what I'm talking about: Sex and Submission).

When I wrote my review years ago of Robobabe 2025 from Forbidden Video, one of the last paragraphs I wrote commented negatively on the use of having the performers go before the camera after the shoot. Here's what I wrote:

After the end of the movie, both actors make an appearance in front of the camera where they let everyone watching know that indeed, Gauge didn't have any actual sex while she was tied up. Translation: "Yes, it was simulated; please don't arrest us." Give me a fucking break.

At the time, I was critical of Forbidden Video for being lily-livered and not going all out and making great nonconsensual movies like they did in their earlier works. And I could see exactly why they were scared, because of the conservative political climate that was running rampant in the Bush administration. And eventually, they did succumb to their fears. Forbidden Video is still in business, but they quit making their own original movies, and that was the reason why. It's a damn shame, too, because some of their stuff was really good. It's just a sign of the times.

Why did YouTied go offline? Because it was so popular that it vastly exceeded its bandwidth allowance and I wasn't around to pay the bill

Why wasn't I around to pay the bill? Very long story, but the short of it is that I was unexpectedly diverted on my recent trip, and it took me much longer to "return to civilization" than I had anticipated. I'm just now getting back online, paying the bills for YT, etc.

I expect that YT should be back online in the next day or two. I'm going to remove all the pirated content that's been posted there in my absence, of course, and indeed I've had time now to think up some new strategies on how to prevent new pirated content from showing up in the first place. I should be able to implement these strategies in the next several weeks.

At any rate, thank you all again so much for your concern, and expect YT to be back up and running normally in the next couple days!

One of the vids I may submit is from a new clips4sale store I found-"Asian Superheroines". There are a bunch of low-priced scenes from the Japanese superheroine movies that are oft-discussed here. I just bought "Princess Pink 1" (on page 2) and I gotta say, even though there is no real nudity in that scene, it is one of the best AOH belly punching scenes I've even seen, especially since the hot girl acts it out well. There are scenes from "Black Angel" that I think someone was askin about a while back.

The movie is a compilation film featuring segments from different producers, and it's a real mixed bag, but there are a few standout scenes. Besides Tina Krause's aforementioned electro torture scene (WAVE did that one), there's also a very good "home movie" sequence entitled "Thrill Rape Kill", made by the folks at Factory 2000. They used to make underground films usually involving strangulation, most of them pretty bad, but they had a certain low budget appeal. Cult actress Misty Mundae got her start with them and also appears in some footage in this film.

Anyway, the "Thrill Rape Kill" segment is one of the most best things I've seen from them. A group of guys have a girl that they bind and gag with duct tape, and she's taken out in their van and raped, then taken back inside and raped again on the floor before she dies. The footage is deliberately shaky and sometimes dark, but that just adds to the realistic feel of the footage. It looks and sounds like bunch of guys whooping it up, having a good time tormenting their victim and having a rape party and that's exactly why it works so well. There's a tiny snippet from that segment at 1:02 of the downloadable trailer at the site that YikYakker pointed out.

Stay away from the sequel to Snuff Perversions, Shock 2000. It sucks big time.

To the person that posted the complaint about how difficult it is to cancel a recurring membership to a paysite. The answer is simple. Sites that feature abduction fantasy are forced to use offshore billing companies who's systems suck. These are companies that are willing to take the risk because they are so desperate for cash flow as they start up. Once they get big and successful and we debug their system for them by dealing with all the customer complaints....they cut us loose and we move on to train the next guy.

Remember how last week everybody thought YouTied had been forced off the net and no one was surprised because we knew his whole operation was illegal and we figured it wouldn't last? Well, it's very disappointing to me that he brings it back so quickly without doing a thorough housecleaning first. Maybe the next time it goes down will be for the exact reason that we all figured it would be. I certainly hope he acts quickly before that happens. I'd like to support the site but at this point I don't see the changes I was hoping for.

All I can understand is that the bad guys run a recruiting company, trick the lovely gals with fake jobs? And bought them over to Slave Island for their hell on earth. Their victims seem to differ from housewife, model to doctor. Add an insurance agent or investigator (chapter 9) or cop (chapter 11) into the mix. Interesting indeed.

Meanwhile, I think you've touched on an interesting subject -- a listing of people's favorite Slave Island movies. I don't have a fully defined list, but my preferences go something like this. Like you, my favorite one is Slave Island 11, which is also one of my favorite GIMP movies in general. For those who need all the details (and then some), here's my review from last year.

My next favorite title is Slave Island 7, which I also reviewed last year. I think third place is a tie between Slave Island 5 and Slave Island 8. Next would be Slave Island 6 and Slave Island 12, followed by Slave Island 2, and then all the rest. (I should note I haven't seen Slave Island 3 in its entirety).

I don't know if anyone is planning to review Slave Island 8, but I have some clips such as this one up on YouTied. And I will be sending some more clips from that movie to YouTied over the next few evenings, so you may want to keep a watch for them. If you haven't seen Slave Island 8, you should. Some of my favorite scenes are in that movie.

Always likely that the best chapters in terms of story, scenes and feel are those starring the better known and prettier AV actresses (11, 9, 12, 7). 3 was surprisingly good.

There was a lack / weak use of gags throughout the series. It wasn't until Chapter 11 when ball gags were used in a scene. Bit gags were used in other chapters but they don't look as great as ball gags. The missing ankle cuffs? The bondage cuffs doesn't look tight enough.

I'm more interested in the plot (if any), how the gals became captives on the island. I will post the plot synopsis for the series here (when I finally get it).

I noticed people were still posting 10 minute long commercial clips even while I was checking it out, but the 12-minute Powershotz clip Brutus posted about earlier today was gone. MasterDetective is back on it, removing them nearly as fast as people were posting them. Why he took the site down again is unknown, but hopefully he's installing safeguards to keep the people who were misusing the site from doing it again. A few of the comments on one of the newer illegal clips were complaining about how quickly their previous clips got deleted. Guess what, fool? Get used to it!

One way to protect the site would be to put YouTied on moderated status...the clips would have to be approved first before they can be uploaded. Or he could give himself the ability to ban posters who constantly upload the illegal material, possibly by blocking their IP numbers. Dreambook gives me that option, although I seldom have to use it on this site, since we have very few spammers and our posters are all polite, well-mannered perverts...well, most of us, anyway :)

Anyway, I have refiled the clip (which will need to be encoded), but hopefully this will get corrected at some point.

My clip for Slave Island 8 - 05 didn't go through properly, either, but there is enough in the clip that appeared that I can live with that one.

Yes, it took a bit of work, but I think I've gotten most of the illegal content off YouTied. RangerDave (or whatever his handle was?) seemed a bit upset, but likewise he told me he's decided to post elsewhere.. soo.. all's well that end's well. Ralphus' idea of moderating the site is good, and perhaps we'll use that in the end, but for now I like the more "organic" nature of having people post first, and then remove what's illegal.

As I said before, I have a new model for how to help keep illegal content off the site. I've had my hands full since I got back in the country, but I plan on implementing some of those ideas this week and next.

Both A Canadian and I, who seldom ever agree, each picked Natalie as Best Mainstream Actress in our 2005 Retrospectives (December 24, 2005...direct link above) for her excellent nude suspension scene in that movie. It's hard enough to find suspension scenes in mainstream films in the first place, let alone nude ones, and this movie had two of them, the second being a much briefer one by Tara Killian

The first movie is Intimate Strangers (1986), with Teri Garr as Army 1st Lt. Sally Bierston, who was left behind somehow during the evacuation from Saigon in 1975 and was captured by the NVA. She was sent to a POW camp in the jungle near Hanoi where other Americans were held who hadn't been released when the 1973 releases occurred. There are two GIMP scenes worthy of attention. All are told in flashbacks; the first scene has Teri hanging by her hands outdoors in a monsoon rain, but since it was made-for-TV, she's wearing her black POW pajamas (unfortunately).

The second scene is the rape from her POV. Her hands are bound in front of her, and she is being pushed towards the bamboo cage she is held in, and then is tossed into the cage and a guard locks her in. Then another guard (large for a Vietnamese, but a real tough-looking guard) unlocks the door to the cage, comes in, and gets on top of her. Then she wakes up. Another brief scene has the guard grinning at her after she's done.

The second movie is Women of Valor, with Susan Sarandon and Alberta Watson as two US Army nurses captured by the Japanese in the Philippines in 1942. Sarandon's whipping scene is described in that database, but Alberta Watson's should be there also. Her character is dragged away from other POWs while sleeping during a rest break on the Bataan Death March by several guards. She is smacked a couple of times, and as they start to undress her, she's begging them, "No, No.." Fade to commercial break. It picks up after the break with Sarandon's character coming to help, as Watson is half-dressed and crying. Sarandon's character had tried to intervene, but got a rifle butt in the back for doing so. It was strongly implied there was more than one attacker, as there were 3-4 guards involved.

I do not know if this scene was fully shot and included in the European version, but if it was, all the more reason to find that version and see if it's there, instead of being left on the cutting room floor. If this had been a direct-to-video release.....it and a waterfall scene with some of the nurses playing in a waterfall in bra and panties would have been shown differently, as they would have been skinny-dipping!

A Region 2 DVD of this movie is listed on Amazon (it's in Spanish), so maybe this is the version shown in European theaters. A friend of mine from college has done vidcaps of his VHS home movies, so he may be able to do the same with tapes I have of both movies, so stay tuned.

It should be noted that there were no nurses on the actual Death March, but otherwise, Women of Valor does show a good account of captivity in Japanese hands. 87 Army and Navy Nurses were POWs of the Japanese in the Philippines from 1942-45. Intimate Strangers is fiction, but does show how a female POW would have fared if captured by the NVA.

I with you on this, Ralphus, but maybe it's because I don't like Japanese animation, period. Animation connotes "movement", and IMO, Japanese animation doesn't have enough movement, or movement of the right kind, to deliver the goods the way a real live girl in merciless peril does. Besides, anime girl isn't real, so where's the sense of peril anyway?

It's a Family Affair - Girl who works for a porn studio is briefly whipped after a shoot.

A-Ga- 3D hentai animation that features a girl put on a "wooden horse" and being switched on her ass.

Pigeon Blood- The main character in this hentai animation is put through various tortures by a sadistic female villain, which include whippings among other things.

E'L- In the second episode of this hentai anime a girl is whipped with a strap across her stomach while bound to a circular device.

Those are the ones so far that haven't been added into the database at all, as for updates to existing entrees I posted the clip for "Hades Project Zeormeyer" and Tox posted one for "Jungle Bondage Camp".

As far as my tastes and animation goes, I of course love it, because it offers me an alternative that just feels different from real stuff. I actually don't prefer one over the other assuming both are done right (believe me, hentai anime can produce some real stinkers, just like anything else). Where real stuff gives me fluid motion and true emotion anime gives perfect bodies and situations that most real actors would never agree to going through.

BTW, whipping may be the only database we have specifically for animation, but there are quite a few animated entries for rape in the Mainstream Rape Database. Lifestyle footage shows people who get off on pain- getting it- giving it- testing their limits- this (ironically) makes me a bit... squeamish- and detracts from my ability to enjoy the material.

But I'd really be interested in hearing what people do have to say, whether they love it, dislike it or feel like they haven't seen enough to offer an opinion. I also like the cleverness of a lot of anime porn. One example, the tentacles tipped with little homonculous mouths which can suck away at the nipples or the clit while the other slimy tentacles are doing their insertion thing.

"Production values" are usually better, too. Unlike the grab-bag of real life BDSM actresses, many of whom are not that attractive, in anime the girls can be as young and pretty as the animator wants to draw them. The scenes are almost always well-lit as well. Too many "real" scenes and settings are dingy looking. Anime brings out bright, shining colorful fetishism in all its glory.

I can't say I like anime "better" than the real thing. But it can certainly be refreshing during those times one wanders through periodic bondage slumps and can place one's hands only on dingy, boring BDSM materials until finally some good stuff comes along.

Let me turn you on to a great flick. There is major GIMP material through out... including two rape scenes. The first is a "movie scene" within a movie, and the second come at the climax of the movie.

The name of the movie is "Perfect Blue", and the story and animation is done well enough that you will forget it's anime. The story revolves around a pop singer turned actress named Mima Kirigoe. This is a psychological thriller in the vein of Alfred Hitchcock and Brian DePalma with a pinch of David Lynch.

There are some amazing scenes here that are surrealistic and strange and beautiful and all out creepy. This is a flick that shows what a great story telling medium animation can be. I've shown this movie to many people who were not "anime" fans, and everyone was amazed.

If I have any complaints is that the gags look lame, especially ball gags that look like circles where the woman's mouth should be, the lips have disappeared. The same thing is true with OTM cloth gags. There is no tension created by the cloth.

Though I'm not so much up on the tentacle stuff.

The fact remains, though, that anime drawings are not children, nor are they child porn. When I was (wrongly) accused of posting an underaged anime drawing on the forum last year, I cited a Wikipedia page that stated, in part: "Any text or work that involves or depicts no real child, (and is not otherwise "obscene"), is never illegal." No children were harmed in the drawing of a cartoon, I can assure you.

The fact that the Japanese sometimes portray their animated victims as with cherubic faces and oversized bug eyes may turn off some, but that's simply the artists' choice, and they wouldn't keep drawing them that way if there was no audience for it.

Personally, while I love the rough action in most anime I've seen, the appearance of the performers is about the only drawback for me. I actually LIKE realism in my bondage fantasies, and like any other bondage film, if I don't find the performer attractive, I probably won't like the movie. A lot of the animated performers in anime just don't look enough like real women to me. That's probably why I haven't checked out that much, but I do like most of the YouTied clips that have been posted.

As far as anime goes, I quite enjoy it. It is wonderfully bizarre in so many respects. Anime explores themes and situations that don't lend themselves easily to live action. This has got me thinking about which JAV stars I would like to see in a New Slave Island movie. To keep my wish list somewhat grounded in reality, I have only included JAV stars who have already appeared in an Attackers movie.

As promised, I have put more Slave Island 12 clips on YouTied. I consider Slave Island 12 to be the most misunderstood film in the series. On a first viewing, many people (myself included) were put off by the weak ending and some of the scenes near the end that dragged a bit. But if you look past those points, you find there were some fine moments in Slave Island 12. I'm not sure any GIMP movie (Japanese or American) will ever top Slave Island 11, but Slave Island 12 is still a better than average flick.

Now, however, I will also need to check out Barbara Broadcast.

A Canadian: Yes, but you recognized the Phoebe Zeit-Geist reference so it was not a complete waste. *Sigh* I had quite the collection of paperbound and hardbound (no pun intended) bondage reading and comic material a few decades ago. I was quite the John Willie fan way before The Adventures of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik-Yak showed up on celluloid.

Some time back we had some short mentions of an outfit who produced a few Gimp-type films as "The Abberdine County Conjuror", "Demon Board" and "Fortune Teller". See above link for any info if interested. Over the summer I decided since these folks are practically neighbors of mine I'd take a chance so I ordered several of their flicks and just finished viewing them. So allow me to pass on the scoop on this bunch.

Would I recommend you purchase them for viewing? No. These appear to be done on no budget by a group of friends having some weekend fun. Production values, acting, dialogue and effects are abysmal at best. No "diamonds in the rough" here.

Do I regret buying them? No. What they do have is a certain "grindhouse" charm. You get plenty of boobs from pleasant damsels, quite a bit of various bondage - rack scenes, burning at the stake, bloodletting and general torment and abuse of many young ladies, all poorly done. I rather think the producer, Jeff Cooper, either is or should be a Gimper - his heart is in the right place. Wish me better luck when my VideoMayhem order comes in - a ZFX for review and Fantom Killer 4 as well.

Anime: I haven't really sought out much Anime. I watched like two movies from the library, and while the art was OK, the movies sucked. Now that I hear some stuff is up on youTied, I'll go have a look at those. Anime faces are not my favorite style of face drawing, but I can go with it if the content is good.

Animae? Well, I actually like the way the faces are drawn and I've seen an episode or two of non-bondage series that were decent, but not enough so that I kept up with them. Then again, there are very few TV shows I DO keep up with. (I rent tons of Asian horror movies, though. Don't ask, I guess I have some sort of Asian fetish or something.)

But back to bondage depictions in animae. Well, I guess I don't have much of an opinion one way or the other. I find some of the drawings interesting to look at, although not necessarily erotic, but some of the drawings are just downright silly, if you ask me.

I do HATE those computer animated or generated semi-real-like thingys that look like store maniquins. I can't think of the name of those depictions right now and is probably off topic anyway.

I was glimpsing at a cartoon series in the back of a "Taboo" issue recently and found myself rather fascinated with some of the rough depictions that obviously wouldn't be done in real life. On the other hand, some of them were SO over the top in their depiction of torture/violence and just plain weirdness that they almost made me ill. So I guess animae definitely can fill a void and it's easier to justify since it's "just a cartoon." But if it goes way too overboard, then I get a bit disturbed.

That sounds like "Poser" and, as with most applications, the beauty lies with the skill of the artists. I've seen a few Poser pictures that are hard to tell from paintings (see URL). If an artist doesn't have access to a real model, Poser lets them put one or more bodies in positions that would be hard to draw from memory.

I think everyone who has delved into JAV can agree that the Japanese cater to just about any fetish you might have (and videos are out there). They actually do tentacle stuff in REAL LIFE! Not my thing, so I haven't checked it out. That seems to be the case in anime as well.

I'm also a huge fan of Sara St. James (yes, she's also Jacqueline Lovell for non-porn movies like Head of the Family) in Spy Trap. I forked over $40 several years ago for a VHS (!) copy and was not disappointed. Not only is she a hardbody, but for a "commercial" bondage film, she did a great acting job.

Although she has done copious nude scenes, I'm thinking Head of the Family might be the only mainstream movie Sara/Jacqueline did with bondage in it. Someone feel free to correct me. As many Full Moon Entertainment and Surrender Cinema features as she did, it is hard to believe they didn't get her tied up or assaulted one or two more times.

Sloth: Thanks for letting us know about the B Film Productions videos. I was the one who originally posted about them on the forum a while back. I was particularly interested that they were incorporating a burning at the stake scene into one of their films, but I can't say I'm surprised that you reported that the GIMP scenes were all poorly done. Sometimes low budget movies have a few scenes in them that make them a guilty pleasure, particularly ones that portray extreme bondage and torture, but more often than not, they simply don't know how to pull it off realistically. At least there's lot of bare tits on some nice-looking girls in their films. You have to admire their effort to make films that have elements like that. I still wouldn't mind checking out Demon Board to see how they pulled off the stakeburning scene, since I collect those.

Poser artwork: I love it, particularly the works of Zell and Quoom. Quoom's stuff is often quite nasty (so nasty, in fact, that I hesitate to showcase some of his more brutal scenes even on a forum like this) but I think it's really outstanding. He's the best in the business if you can stomach the mean treatment of his victims. Remember guys, no women were actually burned, shocked, bloodied or otherwise harmed...they're just pictures!

Might be that the audio is on the linear track and you can't hear it when you play it on a hi-fi VCR. Or vice-versa. Depending on what type of machine you have, it might just need a simple adjustment when you play it back. At any rate, I would try to transfer it to DVD once you get it working right.

So I'm reading back through the archives and I keep coming across comments like "Wow. Today's picture was a great picture! Thanks!" Or words to that effect. I don't suppose there is an archive for previous pictures of the day?

Sorry, no archive for the daily picture, although I sometimes I'll intentionally put the pic in my Homepage URL when I reply to the poster, just so people can see what they were referring to when they read the archives. And they should be more or less permanent, because of I don't delete those, so the links should all still work.

As far as archiving the daily pics, I've had requests to do that, but I would run out of free space pretty quickly if I did that. I have to use all 7 of my screen names now just to keep all the databases fully stocked with vidcaps. Besides, since people know the picture is only going to be up there 24 hours, hopefully it will inspire them to keep coming back every single day. That's the idea, anyway.

I do have a good memory about specific discussions, though, so I should be able to remember what particular picture people were talking about and probably find it again if you drop me an e-mail.

Regarding RangerDave: Our Canadian friend hit the bullseye on the nose when he described this guy. He was basically just a troll who would post on many of the extreme clips and criticize us for liking rape and whipping clips, calling us sick. Yep, almost the instant I posted my comment, it occurred to me that posting a new picture every 24 hours would encourage folks to check in daily. Especially if they wanted to download a copy of it. After you told me the Links image was Constance Money from Barbara Broadcast, I went looking for the movie specifically for that Constance Money scene. Fortunately, I had the foresight to read zee-ef-ex's review first, wherein he mentioned that that scene was heavily censored in later releases. Amazon.com mentioned the "director's cut." Director's cuts usually include more but in this case I'm guessing it includes less. I located a torrent clip of that sequence but it was cut badly, probably having been clipped from a censored original. If anyone knows of a sure-fire way to identify or buy the original uncut version, please let me know.

Eyes of a Stranger (1981)

Starring Lauren Tewes (of "The Love Boat" fame), to whom nothing happens, Jennifer Jason Leigh (in her first movie role, I'm pretty sure), who is almost raped, and a hot actress named Gwen Lewis (who apparently was over 53 when this film was completed, if the IMDB is correct, but she looks damn good for a 53-year old if that is correct), who is raped and murdered.

My favorite scene in this movie is the stalking/rape/murder of the Gwen Lewis character, Debbie. After the requisite build-up, she arrives home to her apartment about 4:45 minutes into the movie. She walks down the hallway to her bathroom while removing her wraparound skirt to reveal a black leotard/one-piece bathing suit sort of thing. The movie cuts back and forth between her and the killer in a phone booth outside her apartment as he calls her and terrifies her. It is a very nice build-up. The killer gets into her apartment, her boyfriend comes over, the killer kills her boyfriend, she discovers his headless body and about 14:00 minutes into the movie comes the payoff. She backs into the killer (wearing a nylon hose over his head), who hits her, backing her into the wall. He tears her dress, revealing her bra, as she screams and slides down against the wall to cower on the floor.

Next scene he hits her in the face, knocking her back onto her bed. He tears open her bra to reveal her breasts. She tries to rise, but he slaps her face twice. She watches in fear and he removes his belt. She really does make some nice helpless-and-afraid noises during the scene. He wraps his belt around her throat and begins to choke her. As she struggles against the belt tightening, he forces her legs apart and moves on top of her and between her legs. The scene cuts away to the living room as her muffled screams are heard. Something about this scene really did it for me. I think it was her screams and the various victim noises she made. Very few high-pitched horror movie type screams, and more real-to-life sounds of distress.

At 1:17:00 minutes into the movie, the killer has broken into the apartment of Jennifer Jason Leigh's character, Tracy. She is blind from a childhood trauma, so it is psychosomatic, which plays into the plot in a few minutes. Anyway, the killer finds her hiding in a closet and pulls her out and onto the bed. Jennifer Jason Leigh does a good job keeping her eyes unfocused to really sell her blindness. The killer slaps her in the face five times, rips open her shirt to reveal her white t-shirt, then rips down her t-shirt to expose her breasts. As she struggles, she begins to overcome her psychosomatic blindness and her vision begins returning, but everything is fuzzy. She kicks the killer in the crotch and escapes to get a gun from the dresser, which she uses to shoot him.

Then she wanders into the bathroom and admires one of her breasts in the mirror. Well, okay, she is probably just looking at herself but I was admiring her breast. The killer is not dead, though, and crashes in, tosses her up onto the bathroom counter and starts choking her with his hands. Nice choking scene. Lauren Tewes rushes in and shoots the guy in the forehead. The end.

I have a special fondness for Jennifer Jason Leigh. She does nude scenes at the drop of a hat. This was her first movie role and there she is topless and the victim of an attempted rape. She was nude and had sex in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. She was raped and gave us copious nudity in Flesh + Blood. And those are just the ones I can think of right off hand. She is a goddess.

The Beast Within (1982)

Starring Bibi Besch (in her only nude scene according to Mr Skin), who gets raped by an insect-man creature, and Katherine Moffat (who has never done a nude scene according to Mr Skin, so he missed one or this is a body double), who gets raped by the insect-man creature's insect-man creature son. Both of the rapes take place in dark woods, so the scenes are dark with lots of annoying shadows in just the right places. But still there is nice nudity.

About 6:00 minutes into the movie, Bibi Besch's character, Caroline, wanders away from the car in the middle of nowhere and is stalked by the creature through the woods. She starts to run, runs into a tree, and knocks herself unconscious. About 6:39 minutes in, the creature slowly stalks up to her prone body, roughly kicks her legs apart (that's a nice touch), and tears open her blouse to reveal her breasts. Next scene we see her body fall back, as if the creature had just ripped off her clothes with enough force to lift her body and then let her drop back onto the ground. Then we watch the upper part of her body in profile (nice boobage) as it moves back and forth, presumably from the creature thrusting into her. That's about it, except for the discovery of her unconscious nude body by her husband.

The next rape takes place 17 years later, although it is only about 1:32:00 minutes into the flick. This time it is young and delectable Katherine Moffat, playing Amanda. (If it is a body double I don't really care because it is a nice body either way.) She has been in an accident and when she regains consciousness, she sees the insect-man creature and runs screaming through the woods, falls down a few times and finally knocks herself out. At 1:33:05 minutes in, the creature finds her, reaches down to grab her dress neckline, and rips it downward as the scene cuts away. Maybe this is where the body double came in. Next scene the creature finishes ripping the dress to reveal her naked upper torso, then rips it away more to reveal her panties, then takes both hands and rips her panties down and off. (Crotch is in shadow.) The creature climbs on top of her and rapes her. She wakes up once and screams, then faints again. That's it until the search party finds her unconscious fully naked body, covered in shadow and dirt.

I liked both of these scenes primarily because of the build-up. Raping unconscious girls doesn't make for the best rape scenes, I know. But still, I thought the scenes were memorable. The movie is enjoyable 80's-era horror movie fare, although it has a high camp factor.

The Evil Dead (1981)

The only worthwhile scene in The Evil Dead (my opinion here) is the scene where Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss) is raped by vines, giving a whole new meaning to the term "woody." I like horror movies, but this one just didn't achieve the lofty status of cult favorite with me. This scene is the only reason I have the DVD.

So about 23:00 minutes into the movie, Cheryl hears a noise outside the cabin, which is in the big middle of nowhere surrounded by dark and forbidding woods, and naturally enough goes out to investigate. I don't know why I'm complaining. Lots of great rape scenes begin this way. She is dressed in a some little purple thing and a white bath robe. And cute little leather moccasins.

It is now 25:00 minutes into the flick. There is fog. Vines start moving along the ground. Cheryl hears something and looks startled. The vines catch her. Well, she's just kind of standing there so they didn't even have to work for it. First they pull her robe apart from the bottom, revealing her bare legs and the short purple thing she's wearing. She screams.

Vines lash out and wrap themselves around her wrists and her neck. She screams and struggles. One vine drags along her forearm and we hear ripping and watch the robe fabric shred. Another vine slices down her back and tears the robe lengthwise. Subordinate vines dutifully carry the two halves of the now-removed robe away. So she's left in her short purple thing, which the vines begin to rip and the vines also apparently whip her, since we hear whipping sounds followed by her screams.

Screaming and struggling continue as vines wrap around her moccasin-clad feet and violently jerk forward, pulling her feet out from under her and landing her flat on her back. She raises her head and looks down toward her feet and her eyes widen when she sees a vine snaking purposefully forward between her feet and both she and we know just where that sucker is headed. It wraps around her calf and keeps coming. Meanwhile, Cheryl is struggling with the vines around her arms and hands.

Her left hand is pulled forcefully outward and pinned straight out. She vainly tries to cover her bare left breast with her right hand, but while one vine wraps itself around her breast and squeezes in a reasonable facsimile of breast bondage, her right hand is jerked straight out as well. This single bare breast is it as far as nudity goes.

The vine that was making its way up her leg has reached her thigh and tentatively moves under the hemline of her purple outfit. Cheryl gets a confused and frightened look on her face as she feels the crotch vine activity and raises her head up to look down toward her feet.

The vines ever so slowly pull her feet apart, obviously enjoying her delicious helplessness. Or maybe that's just me. The camera slowly pans up her legs as they are being pulled open, and we can see that her panties are still in place. Dang.

All of a sudden a long, hard vine (obviously the alpha vine) drives itself into her crotch. She screams and looks pretty much the way you would expect a damsel in distress to look while she's being raped by a piece of wood. She screams and moans. Her feet move back and forth suggestively, as if maybe she's starting to enjoy being poked by a stick. Well, apparently the vine is only excited if she is terrified and being taken by force, because once she starts to enjoy it the vine loses it's hardness (isn't that just the way it goes?) and she breaks free and flees back to the cabin. But the seed is planted, so to speak, and the horror movie commences.

Like I said, I am not that big a fan of the movie itself, although it has achieved cult status in its own right. But I love watching the vine rape scene every once in a while.
