Some may find that one lukewarm, but seriously, of the several (admittedly, not that many) ZFX electro scenes I’ve viewed, this one is one of the few I’d go back to. (OK, my favoritism for Ms. Pace is showing). 2nd place would go to “Witchhunt”, with “Reporter: Gangstarr II” a close third.

Others: There’s a short but nice scene in an Insex film called “maintrain” (I think) where the AOH victim is made to spell, and gets shocked through wires attached to her nipples whenever she makes a mistake. Fortunately, she’s a bad speller, but unfortunately, they didn’t make her spell a lot of words.

All in all, it’s sort of like that joke “The food here is awful”. “Yeah, and such small portions”. There aren’t that many good electro scenes, but we sure could use a lot more scenes in general.

My guess is you haven't seen it yet, or else you wouldn't have left off the best ZFX shock scene of them all...Elaine Payton being zapped in South of the Border 6. Unfortunately good electro-torture movie-scenes are rather rare. The mainstream-movie "Garage Olimpo" is worth mentioning. The actual torture isn't shown but the preparations are: a naked girl gets tied to a metal table and the torturer prepares his tools. The intense sphere and the humming of the battery are a real turn-on.

In one episode of the TV-series "Alias", Jennifer Garner is tied to a gurney and shocked. The whole scene takes only a few seconds and miss Garner is wearing a very unsexy prison-dress. As always, she manages to escapes too fast :-(

This was my very first-ever look at a Powershotz production, and from looking at their website, their content doesn't appear to be as "extreme" as I normally like (no rape, minimal torture) and instead focuses more on the domination and humiliation aspect of bondage. But they have some cute girls, so I decided to take a chance. And this first title, PZV020 - Mia's Abduction, turned out to be one that I ended up enjoying quite a bit.

It's one of their earlier efforts and clearly not a "slick" production; we hear off-camera directions, see flashbulbs going off taking production stills, and occasionally see someone who shouldn't be in the scene walking past the camera, which takes away from the fantasy. There are some slow patches that should have been trimmed to improve the pace. But on the important aspects, they get it right, and that's by casting an incredibly cute girl as the lead, played by a then-19-year-old Mia. And the villain is quite strong, knowing exactly the right demeaning things to say to his scared victim as he ties her up. Together, they pull off the drama very nicely.

Unfortunately, the opening abduction is on the weak side. Mia, a cutie wearing a white tennis outfit, is walking along the street when a guy wearing a ski mask drives up in his van and points a gun at her; she passively gets inside without a word, barely even acting scared. It's not until he tells her to get into the back of the van and he begins to hogtie her that the seriousness of what is about to happen to her makes her begin to whimper. He stuffs a wad of cloth into her mouth and seals it with a white bandana wrapped around her head, then follows up by blindfolding her. (Even more unfortunately, the scene is interrupted when a car goes by and the "kidnapper" removes his hood and breaks character by addressing the actress by her real name while they wait for the car to pass...I have no idea why this sequence was left in the final print.) After admiring her body and giving her an over-the-clothes groping, he carries the bound girl over his shoulder and into his house while she makes some nice muffled sobs through her gag.

Once inside, he unties her and forces the crying girl to strip off her white tennis shirt and shorts; you can feel her humiliation when he tells her to take off her bra. He then handcuffs her hands in front and forces her arms overhead as he locks the cuffs to a chain hanging from the ceiling. This enables him to help himself to her pert little titties, then he slowly ties her ankles together. Using the same rope to tie up her knees, he continues up her body by winding the rope around her neck and along her upper body above and below her breasts. Her mouth is then silenced with a big blue ballgag which is tied around the nape of her neck. She looks especially hot bound and gagged like this. Her captor then removes his belt and gives her several hard whacks across her ass.

After more verbal threatening and more tears from his sweet victim, he forces her to remove her panties and ties her naked to a straight-backed wooden chair. One thing I liked very much about the video is that all the bonds are applied onscreen, so we get to see the rope tightening around her wrists behind the chair. He also bends her knees back and ties her ankles toward the back of the chair, forcing her legs apart and exposing her pussy even more. After stuffing her mouth again with a wad of cloth, he duct tapes her mouth. As good as she looked in the previous scene, she looks even better tied to that chair.

Next, he forces Mia to lean over a tall stool. He duct tapes her wrists behind her and uses more duct tape to tie her ankles together. After he gags her with one of her dirty socks, tying it inside her mouth with a piece of cloth, he tells her how he's going to rape her ass. And he spanks her hard until her ass is a rosy shade of pink, telling her he's getting her ass ready for it. As a further humiliation, he smacks her ass with a riding crop until she's forced to say that she'll suck his cock.

Then he cuts the tape off her wrists (maybe Mia's most painful ordeal as the tape is pulled off her skin...you can tell that it hurts) and leads her over to the couch, where she's again hogtied, completely naked this time, and her mouth is once again filled with the blue ballgag. As hogties go, this one was only okay; I would have cinched the ropes tighter and made it a bit more constrictive, but she still looks damn good. Are you guessing that I like this girl a little bit?

Her captor then takes her gag out and cuffs both her wrists behind her and her ankles together before carrying her over to the bed, where he blindfolds her and says he's going to leave her for the night. And this is followed by some short bonus footage of a ballgagged Mia again tied arms over head, this time balancing on one foot with her other leg pulled up off the ground by a chain attached to the ceiling. Two other girls appear in unrelated bondage segments afterward, the better of which features a dark-haired doll baby named Miranda wearing a sexy bustier and a black ballgag, doing some nice struggling while bound to a pole.

Getting back to the main story, it works mainly because the interaction between captor and victim is excellent. Whoever is playing the masked bad guy does a superb job, often threatening the girl and saying how he's going to do all kinds of sexual things to her. Even though we don't get to see anything like that, the threat is believable to her and seeing her cry and react to his domination makes the tension in this one very exciting. Mia for the most part gives an outstanding performance; despite a few slow moments that should have been edited out, she really sells her role as a victim. It's the near-perfect fantasy for guys who dig seeing a very sweet and innocent girl tied up and humiliated; only the sexual payoff is missing, and that's simply a byproduct of releasing a bondage video in the United States under this restrictive political climate. I would love to see Powershotz do something harder, but in this movie at least, they make their own formula work quite well.

On a different subject, the opening credits will determine whether I am interested in tonight's Oscars ceremony. I haven't seen the gay cowboy thing, or any of the movies nominated for best picture, so there's only one factor that influences my decision to watch: whether or not Jessica Alba is a presenter. Then I try out the company ZFX that everyone on the site seems to froth over, bad mistake. This was a big waste of money. I tried the title "The Apartment". This movie was just weak, I mean weak. Extreme Associates was making stuff harder than these two titles years ago. "Forced Entry" with Jewel De'Nyle comes to mind, and when I found the G.I.M.P. website I thought the movies being reviewed would be ten times harder than that. I was a fan of both SNAP and The Apartment, two very good movies, IMO. I'm guessing that if you were disappointed by both of them, you're probably looking for something more "real", since both Bizarro and ZFX are more story-driven companies. If you truly want hardcore bondage that's about as real as it comes, get yourself some Japanese videos, particularly the Shark series, which are heavy in rape themes. Keep in mind that they usually pixellate the genitals, but there's nothing faked in those. The women are really being tied up and penetrated, and they are about the closest thing to watching a real rape as you are going to find. Check out Video Mayhem; they have hundreds of titles available.

I'm biased, but the abduction and forced strippings are awesome, if the girls can't act they are taught to act quickly using corporal punishment. Often they are made to beg for sex. There are also members only video clips that show the occassional insertion. The majority of the feedback from customers is positive, often very positive. The moment, we realized being GIMPers?

It is a bit difficult for me to pinpoint the exact moment. I think my experience was an ongoing process. But if you really want to read about it, here comes the making of a GIMPer ;) (It will take a while and I do like to indulge myself in these matters. So bear with me.)

Very early, at the age of six, seven years, I think, I spend rainy Sunday afternoons in front of the TV watching old American, Italian, Spanish adventure flicks (Errol Flynn, Steve Reeves, Dan Vadis). I was fascinated by torture chambers, dungeons and those hooded henchmen doing their sinister works in these creepy places. Already then, I had a strange and pleasant feeling, thinking about the total defenselessness of a prisoner on a rack or some other torture device and the total power, the villain could execute having the hero in this predicament. I made sure to catch the Italian flicks from the early sixties...you could count on them having at least one torture scene in it. The more of those I watched, the more I realized that watching females getting caught and thrown into a dungeon-cell or even whipped or racked made me feel even more excited then watching it being done to a male.

And then at the age of eleven, I saw a publicity shot from a movie playing at the local cinema. It was the animated movie „Heavy Metal“ and the pic showed the white-haired amazon Taarna strapped on a strange, malicious looking torture device, her full, naked breasts pointing up proudly in the air and an evil, heavily build mutant was threatening her with a huge whip. (see link no. 1 above) I felt like being hit by lightning, getting a real warm and tingling feeling in my belly and a major erection. From that moment on, my fantasies revolved no longer around male heroes in distress. In this cheap paperback, I had found my own perfect sadistic fantasy come to life:

The villain: General Ho, a wealthy and powerful drug-lord. The kind of criminal that is "untouchable by the law“. This is the kind of villain I love to read about. I love villains like South-American dictators, drug-lords, sheiks, warlords, yakuza-bosses. You know, if a white woman falls into the hands of this kind of man...she is fucked. He will have a prison or palace or fortress from which she could not hope to escape. He will have an army to protect him. He will have everything you could think of at his disposal to keep her prisoner. And that makes the torture so much more enticing. The knowledge that it is not only the chains holding her prisoner...it´s the completeness of his power that holds her.

The ordeal: After being beaten and raped countless times, she finds herself in the "possession“ of her buyer the fat, Asian man in his expensive suit, his half dozen of bodyguards, his big limousine which takes them to his palace-like mansion. Naturally, she expects more rape but is not grasping her horrible fate just yet. Rape her, he does. But not before she suffers a generous amount of pain in order to make his cock hard. She finds herself in a torture chamber with that fat, repulsive man who has her completely in his power. All he wants from her is to suffer. He bluntly tells her, that he will torture her to death because that "amuses him“. And her promises her to save the worst for some time, since that will „detract from her loveliness“. The movie itself is really good, but as far as the rape scene is concerned, it really is a pretty piss poor scene. There isnt even a titty shot, and there is no nudity at all!

At the time, I thought this would only apply to new ZFX movies and the movies in the vault that are still being converted to disc from VHS.

But it would appear this applies to the release of all ZFX titles, including those that have been available on DVD for some time now.

Last month, I purchased Vacum, and it showed up on a DVD-ROM disc (or what I assume is DVD-ROM. It certainly isn't a DVD-R disc). And today, I received a new copy of The Dirty Dreams of Lisa Kinkaid, which I had ordered to replace an older copy that was scratched and had some glitches. Sure enough, the new disc that arrived today is DVD-ROM.

So, anyone looking to upgrade a particular ZFX title may wish to consider ordering a new disc.

To me, bondage is serious business, and the only laughs should come from the villains who are tormenting their bound captives. You know what has me most excited? The fact that this one appears to have a real storyline. OK all this "Lisa's not in it - it's no good" is lame! While Lisa is good looking, plays her roles REALLY well, and is in many ZFX movies she's (thankfully) not the only talent at their disposal. I was able to download the trailer and it does look good - I'd like to see more (and larger) stills before I get a good feel for the movie; plus I'm old fashioned and I like to purchase physical media so I won't be buying the download.

I think it's like Ralphus said there's a particular talent that starts you off with a company that has a special place for each for us - for me it was Kelly Long from HOM. For ZFX it was Phantacide Peepshow - so Penelope Pace is the victim I look for in ZFX movies, but of course I don't limit myself to the enjoyment of their movies as to whether she's in them or not - I admit it does make them more interesting if she's receiving a lot of attention ;-)

I just hope ZFX can continue to produce good new movies, such as South of the Border 6 & 7, with a mixture of our favorites and new talent.

It is always good to see a new ZFX dvd get released. Like many other people I feel 1 movie a year or less isn't anything to get pumped up about. I respect Rick's decision to release other material instead of new movies. It is a business decision for sure and Rick is a good businessman. Having said that, here is some food for thought. If you bdsm fans had a limited budget and had to make choices on your movies, I rather see you buy dvds from Dan Hawke, or Dave Darke, Sgt Major and Tightrope Artistry, Centaur Celluloid, and Steve Power, rather then ZFX. The reason would be because your investment in the dvd will probably be put toward budgets to produce more new dvd's. Maybe the investments helps these current producers hire more new talent, or maybe upgrade their equipment. I dont think you can say that when you support ZFX right now. Once again I don't think Rick is a bad guy at all, and I am not calling for a boycott, It just feels better supporting the people who are more fan friendly at this time.

And you basically are suggesting that people abandon buying his titles simply because he isn't working on something new? How many of the 150 ZFX titles have you seen? Okay, I've seen them all, but I'm sure most ZFX fans have not. A new "older" title on DVD that most people have not seen is the same as a new one in my book. Even those of us who grew up on Rick's stuff would value getting cleaner, digitalized DVD copies of his classic works.

If I were Rick, I would do exactly what's he doing now. If I had a cloning machine, I would create 2 Ricks. I would have Original Rick work on new stuff while Replicant Rick worked on upgrading his older catalog. But I don't; this is reality, and the reality says that ZFX is just one person, one artist, and he's doing what he feels is best for his company. By the end of next year, Rick may well have 40 or so "new" ZFX titles on DVD while those other producers may put out half of that or probably much less.

I think we should financially support the artists that put out the entertainment we like to see. They all need our help. At least one of those artists you mentioned is in dire straits. You might be surprised how little some of them actually make. If we want them to succeed, we should do whatever we can to make sure they get paid for their efforts. And that means buying their titles from authorized sources. I think ZFX is certainly one of those companies that has earned the support of its fans over the years. No reason to stop now. He's doing the very best he can.

In my case I seen War Pigs on VHS and I really don't care if it ever made it to dvd. I am interested in NEW PRODUCT. I feel if Rick was more Fan friendly then instead of transferring 24 old movies a year, why not transfer 12 and produce 4 or 5 new ones a year? The newest ZFX was shot 6 years ago.

Bottom line it is a business decision for Rick. I said I respect that but in no way do I feel my opinion is asinine. Yeah, the newest ZFX was shot 6 years ago. But you're forgetting part of it was shot in January 2006. People like Dan shot a lot of their footage years ago and are now just releasing it. Dan's newest title features an appearance by Liz Tyler, who retired years ago. I don't think it's so unusual for producers to sit on footage for years before it finally gets edited and makes its way into a finished form. Shooting probably takes a day. Editing the footage most likely takes much longer.

I do agree that most would prefer to see new stuff instead of older stuff. Me, too. But Rick tried doing both (putting out new stuff as well as working on the older titles) for years and not much was getting done. So he decided to just go at it and knock these out so they weren't hanging over his head. I wish he had the speed of Superman and could do both. But I don't think we should deliberately not buy his stuff if given a choice because we don't get to see new stuff for a while. Most producers are coming out with new titles. Not everyone has a backlog of 150 titles to be transferred, either. I give Rick credit for being brave and taking the chance and doing what he feels is right. And I feel he should be supported for that. I would buy his stuff first, because I know his product will be worthwhile.

Having said that, I'm with Ralphus in this debate. While I, too, would welcome new ZFX releases, I understand the effort that's going into the transfer of the ZFX classics. And Ralphus is right that there are people -- like me -- who never saw these movies on VHS. Indeed, I still have a mental list of pending ZFX releases on DVD that I am anxious to see. I have talked about some of these movies before and won't bore everyone by repeating the list.

Hmmm - interesting question. To be honest, it's been so long since Rick has put anything new out, I have gotten to consider ZFX as part of the "old guard" and haven't really thought about this release.

I can't say that Lisa is my #1 all-time favorite, even if she has been the most prolific. She is a definite cutie, but I think my favorites are Victoria Vixxen and pre-boob-job Tabitha Jordan and Penelope Pace. As such, not having her in this video has no effect on my level of anticipation.

One reason I'm writing is that after seeing Steve Powers of Powershotz posting a few times I checked out his web sites and decided to join for a month and also purchased and downloaded some clips. I've been very pleased. Steve’s work emphasizes forced stripping scenes, abductions, domination (physical and verbal) with bondage included. What I really like is what Steve describes as body display angles. For example, I really like the hand over mouth move, the physical domination and the exposure of the female body. By the way, just to circle back on the topic of rape and whether rape can ever be funny, the other day I picked up a used book called, All I Need to Know About Filmmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger, by Troma films producer Lloyd Kaufman. In the book, Kaufman talks about a scene in the movie Troma's War where a woman is raped by a guy who has AIDS. After the rape, the woman gets up and yells, with her huge breasts juggling around, "I've got AIDS! I've got AIDS!"

Kaufman says even one of his fellow Troma screenwriters couldn't believe he was making fun of both rape and AIDS. I haven't seen this movie, so I have no idea if the scene is actually funny or not, but it appears it was supposed to be funny.

As an aside, there is also a chapter on Bloodsucking Freaks. Kaufman says it's a pretty sick movie -- and he's the guy who distributes it.

To make a musical analogy, the other bondage producers are like up-and-coming rock bands, struggling to make it, and releasing CD's on a regular basis. Rick is the Rolling Stones, resting on their well-deserved laurels and re-releasing old material in endless configurations, occasionally deigning to put out a new CD.

So who should Joe Bondagefan support? Keep in mind, we're not talking about you or me--I can buy TJJ and any other damn dvd I want to, and so can you. Retailer wants the guy who can afford only one dvd to select the guys who need the bucks the most, assuming of course that the budget-minded fan likes their works as much as he likes ZFX. Rick can survive without that guy's dollars. And you know something? Frankly, just as every Rolling Stones song doesn't deserve to be repackaged, some of those decade-old ZFX works don't need it either. I'd rather have Rick applying his accumulated wisdom and expertise to new material more often, and stop worrying about how quickly he can put every old vid, no matter how insignificant, on disc.

But seriously, apologies to Mr. Retailer if feelings were hurt. In a discussion forum, there's always bound to be certain words and phrases that might offend. I wasn't calling him asinine, just his suggestion that we should not buy ZFX because the money would not be going directly towards new releases. I still don't agree with his opinion, but it wasn't the best word to use.

You do make a very good point by comparing ZFX to the Rolling Stones and the rest of the companies to struggling young rock bands needing the money to keep going. I suppose in a perfect world, there should be enough dollars so that they all should survive. If you want to be a humanitarian, offer your last dollars to the struggling wannabe in hopes that he will use that money to produce more new stuff.

Personally, I don't have a lot of money myself, and I'm going to use it to buy the very best product I can. For me, that means ZFX. Or an Attackers title from Japan. I'm going to buy what I like the best. If I have anything left over, I will purchase from the other companies. If their stuff is good enough, people will find them and they will make money. It's a battle of the fittest. The strongest survive. If I prefer the Stones CD to whatever 50 Cent is pushing these days, again, I'll buy what I like. It's my entertainment dollar, after all. If others want to do the opposite, that's fine, but if they intentionally miss out on ZFX, they are depriving themselves of the best.

Ralphus, No need to apologize. I wasn't offended in the least bit. In real life or on message boards. I am respectful to people, and can discuss subjects with others without offending others or getting offended in the process. Opposing viewpoints are okay with me, and I am sure they are okay with Ralphus.

I don't think I offended Rick either. Rick is smart enough to know that my complaint about not having more new stuff is actually a compliment to him. Using my analogy about releasing Rocky 3 instead of V for Vendetta, Rick should have lost a ton of market share in the real world. Looking over their list, I do recognize some titles that I kept highlights from in my personal collection, but I strongly suspect a lot of these were made by other companies and Troma just bought the right to distribute them. The most obvious one there is, of course, Bloodsucking Freaks, which was really just documentary footage of Sardu and me kicking back and relaxing back in the good old days when we used to put on a live show in Soho. Some guy came by and filmed us and turned it into a movie that has delighted generations of pervs ever since. But I digress...

Anyway, more highlights off the Troma list:

Stendhal Syndrome, clearly not an original Troma, has a very good scene with Asia Argento, where she gets tied spreadeagled to a mattress on the floor and brutally raped by a maniac. Surprisingly no nudity but still quite exciting; her own dad directed this!

Igor and the Lunatics: I don't remember anything about this film, except it has the classic damsel in distress scene where the woman is tied with a buzzsaw about to slice her in two. But here's the kicker: They actually do it! Talk about breaking the cliche, huh? Not everyone's snort of coke, obviously, but for those who want to see this fantasy come to life, I've never seen any other movie attempt it.

Mother's Day: I'm pretty sure this is not a Troma original, either. Three cute girls get captured by two sick brothers, who obediently follow orders from their even weirder grey-haired mother. In fact, I may try to accelerate the script process by sending Lohan my ideas about what happens to Wonder Woman when she is captured by the villains. I would even be prepared to draw some story boards, if that would help, and I could let Lohan know that I have some online friends who could draw the scenes of Wonder Woman being captured and tortured in even greater detail if that is required.

I think the problem lies more with the prospects of getting your proposed script written. While I like the idea of Wonder Woman being captured and tortured, if you read that article, it says the movie is being written by Joss Whedon of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", and NOT by Rick Masters. Damn it all to hell. We might have to settle for just buying a DVD of Miss Ballista instead.

Fortunately, there is always another actress waiting in the wings -- like Jessica Alba. Or maybe someone like Salma Hayek, who could fill out the Wonder Woman uniform quite nicely (see picture in my URL).

The casting will be essential. I can't really start working on some effective story points for Mr. Whedon until I know who's been cast in the lead role. In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with an encore viewing of Miss Ballista.

This is an interesting era in bondage videos. I'm a very busy person and in the past have been frustrated by the lack of offerings and the time consumed in finding what I would like to view. Some 25 years ago I was turned on to HOM where the loops and the videos were incredibly good and fulfilled my needs at the time. Then HOM faded and Cal Star faded, only mediocre quality remained with Cal Star. There was a very dry period before ZFX made the scene and set an incredible bar. Forbidden video as well as Dan Hawke have also made great contributions to fulfilling the needs on bondage aficionados.

But with ZFX and Forbidden in the dry as of late, the emergence of Powershotz is very important at this time in filling a badly needed niche. And from what I can see, Steve Power will be a very important producer of bondage DVDs to come.

In the second and much lengthier part of the DVD, there is a blond gal Leah who walks into her apartment wearing a sweater skirt and tan nylons. She gets grabbed at the door and hand gagged and man handled into submission. Leah has one of the best bodies you will ever find on a woman with perfect boobs and the longest of legs. The bondage is well done with the immobilization done efficiently and effectively. Thus, a good lesson on how to do bondage quickly and properly. A big plus is the on screen tying.

Leah is next tied to a chair. She is neck roped very effectively and ankles and wrists tied nicely. I would have wished to have seen her wearing pantyhose instead of thigh highs, but that's my personal preference. She is gagged with a black harness gag.

Quickly, the scene moves to her tied with her breasts against the back of the chair and she is now stripped naked except of the thigh highs. She has great feet to view but close-ups were not the emphasis here rather her voluptuous ass. She has an O-ring gag on and is tormented with a riding crop and verbally humiliated. In the end of the DVD are some great previews although a small sampling of Steve Power's works. The DVD was over 1 ½ hours including previews which was a good length for me. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by the DVD – it exceeded my expectations. As I mentioned earlier, there are so many excellent offerings, I would recommend one join Powershotz as the stills on the site are worth it alone – and one has to truly immerse themselves to get to know the gals to decide what look and temperament suits them. Once, you decide, you will truly get to know them and Steve will set the table for your enjoyment.

I rate this particular dvd a A- for the of the special features like the vibrator scene, vaginal torment, and the effective bondage ties in the second half on the DVD as well as the superior technical quality. Powershotz is at the top of the game and its accessibility affords a busy person like me to find quality bondage entertainment on DVD easily without taking up too much time. Steve Power is a master at providing the highest technical quality photography and video.

Sounds like a similar formula that Steve Power explored in Mia's Abduction...bondage mixed with verbal humiliation, administered to some pretty models. I wasn't sure I would like the Mia movie myself, but it turned out I enjoyed it quite a bit. Sounds like this one was a winner in your book, too.

For a company I was barely aware of just a few months ago, it looks like Powershotz has been building up its fan base due to some positive exposure here. That's good, since some of our regular resources have been a bit scarce lately. With over 100 titles out on DVD, I'm sure I'm going to be checking out more from Powershotz in the months to come.

I'm curious to know whether the powershotz DVDs are generally available, or can they only be ordered from the powershotz website?

Anyway, the film is great by any standard and definately worth seeing!

Regarding the movie itself, I found it very well-crafted. The characters were well-defined, the visuals arresting, and the character of V very engaging. The mask for V itself was a stunning piece of design work. I could swear it changed expression ever so subtly from time to time to reflect his mood.

So far as the story of V, I am less impressed. The movie takes a pretty ham-handed anti-American stance, basically blaming the woes of Britain upon the missteps of the US. Most of the evil perpetrated in the movie is referred to as but a shadow of the things those whacky Americans do. Blowing up Parliament, while visually spectacular, was pretty vile. That's the equivalent of blowing up the Capitol. While terrorists might cheer such a move, I would not. Replace the evil in the building itself, by all means, but don't destroy the symbol of law and free society in the process.

The first time I encountered that company, my local video store had a DVD by Powershotz called "Intruder Alert." I loved it, and I posted a brief review on this board about it. I may have been the first one of us to even mention the company on this board.

On that video, I also really liked the look of several previews. There was one if I remember right called "Bondage Letters" or something like that, with a girl named maybe "Jesse" or something similar? That girl was incredibly hot, not someone you EVER see in a bondage flik. But my neighborhood store added no further Powershotz films.

Shortly after seeing "Intruder Alert" I went to the Powershotz website and found links to that other film. But going there recently, damned if I can find any sight of that film or girl in "Bondage Letters" or whatever, and for that matter, few links to "Intruder Alert." The one or two links to "Intruder Alert" are pointing instead to short downloadable clips, rather than to the full DVD that I saw.

Maybe it's me, and I'm simply missing it. Or maybe it's the nature of the bondage filmmaker beast? Where maybe, to stay one step ahead of the law, or to deal with short run production cycles and tight costs, films are jumbled together and sold under one name one day and another name another day?

Steve, any comments? I'm not complaining - just an observation that it's all just a little confusing. I prefer my packages wrapped up nice and tight, heh heh.

If you are in the United States, you'll usually get your dvd within 3 post office days. I've had very few complaints. The dvds don't come in a case with printed label, they are in a paper sleeve inside a padded bubble mailer. It isn't easy to tell there is a dvd inside. The address is hand written and there are no company markings on the outside to indicate that the envelope contains adult material.

The website is divided up into 3 basic areas...the membership area..where still images and video clips are posted and held for a time....the token galleries...which is where old video clips used to be put after cycling thru the members area....and the new archives catalog...which is where the newer higher resolution video clips are going. Then there is the dvd ordering page. Bon Vue is releasing dvds wholesale in North America but they don't have all the older titles. That's why you won't find many of them in video stores.

Much of the video work is customer funded. When I get a lot of custom funding, I end up shooting a lot and run out of time to tidy things up on the site.

The model Jessy....is on several dvds. Every once in a while I'll drop a dvd from the list because the Master got trashed, or the model didn't want the publicity and I caved....a lot of video content hasn't been converted to dvd yet. Okay, this Dreambook posting problem is getting seriously out of hand. I see that some posts are still going through, but I've also had nearly a dozen people e-mailing me to say they tried to post and Dreambook would not let them. I posted a 3-sentence reply last night and got denied. Dreambook apparently thought my post was too long and blocked it as spam. It was 3 short sentences long, guys! 15 words!

Meanwhile, Dreambook ignores my repeated e-mails, and this problem doesn't appear to be going away. The most logical solution would be for them to give the owner the option of disabling the anti-spam feature if they wished, instead of randomly forcing it on everybody. All it has done is keep the normal posters from posting, and meanwhile we had a real spammer get through yesterday and it didn't do a thing to block him. I took his post off myself.

In the meantime, we have one solution if Dreambook blocks you from posting. E-mail it to me, and I will add it to the site myself. I know it's inconvenient, but it does work. My e-mail link is on the SIGN THE BOOK page. I much prefer that to people giving up and saying nothing, and I know that's been happening, too. The only way a site like this survives is through contributions from its readers. It's hard enough to get posts without Dreambook arbitrarily blocking half the people who try to get through.

Does anyone here know of a reliable free host that accepts adult content? I'm ready to move this site if things don't improve. After 7 years of battling Dreambook's antics, they might have finally pushed us too far. I'm open for suggestions.
