Having said that, it looks to me like the quality of the DVDs are probably as good as what you would find on the originals. I can't be certain of this -- since I have never seen the originals -- but DVDs generally don't lose quality in the copying process. The fine quality and the cheap prices explain the huge market for pirated DVDs (apparently, Canada is the No. 1 market for pirated movies).

The VCDs, on the other hand, lose plenty in the copying process. As I have said before, don't order a VCD unless you absolutely have to see that movie, and you don't mind the fact the picture will be significantly washed out.

As for videotapes, I don't watch them, but I am certain pirated videotapes lose something in the copying process.

Speaking of which, anybody catch "24" last night? One of the storylines the episode dealt with was a terrorist who we discover had been keeping a young Russian waif captive. When we see her she's bruised up and terrified, and we find out she had been kidnapped 19 months ago by traffickers in the sex slave trade. ZFX movies have simulated whipping, but they are the most realistic-looking simulations you're going to find. A few of my favorites would include sceamin' Monica Moore in South of the Border 2, bound spreadeagled and harshly whipped by two men repeatedly. That chick could really sell a scene. How about Lisa Kinkaid hung up and whipped in Ballista 2? Great scene. Or Penelope Pace suspended and flogged by Rick Masters in Guilty? Really, almost every ZFX vid has killer whipping scenes; that's what Rick excels in. I don't think anybody does whipping as well as he does.

For sheer realism, you have to go with the Japanese, particularly the Attackers series. Attackers #79, for instance, had two great whipping scenes, plus it was a helluva great movie. I've seen so many great scenes from the Japanese, I lose track. One thing about the Japanese, they don't simulate this stuff. These women are really being harshly whipped, so if you want real, you've got it.

InquisitionLive has recently pushed into new, better-lit, territory. Interrogation12 has a very long whipping scene with two guys whipping a shift off a rather attractive woman, nice body and (for those of us who still like this) a nice bush. One such title that I recently viewed was Cinemagic VS #655. In addition to some stringent and interesting bondage positions in this title, it has one of the best whipping scenes I have seen. While it might be tempting to blame political correctness for some rape scenes that go flat, the truth is that there were problems even back in the days when women were still called "girls."

My proof? Well, last night I watched an Alpha Blue Archives movie called Biker's Orgy of Pain (see my URL). This DVD featured scenes from various '70s movies where biker gangs raped and tortured young women.

There were some nice set-ups for some gang rapes, but I don't feel I saw one scene in the entire collection that was worth the effort. The problem, in general, was that a woman would be held down and raped, but the victim generally didn't put up enough of a struggle. I never believed the fantasy that the victim was being raped.

You wouldn't think it would be that difficult to film a rape scene, but I guess it is. Perhaps Rick Masters should start teaching a course at UCLA.

Ralphus: I believe we are waiting for DoppleM's comments on Attackers #79 and Attackers #77. Since there is general agreement on Attackers #77 (with perhaps only some mild disagreement over the early sex-show scene), DoppleM may not have much to add to that particular discussion.

But I agree that his comments on Attackers #79 will be essential. I think there is some agreement that the scenes in the film were very intense and well done. The issue is the victim herself -- Mika Siina. While Ralphus found her attractive enough to make the film really work, I found her looks to be below average, and that dampened my enthusiasm for an otherwise fine film.

To answer Jeff's question on Insex. The takes were not labeled when they first started. They just have numbers for the models and that becomes the name. I think the one that you are asking about was with a model name Tyler, Insex has done that same scenario many times. I have all of their files from day one and it was done many times. Jeff I hope that gives you a little input on your question.

I believe that some of the scenes and still images are leading edge in the world today. Sometimes they suck, but oftentimes they do not. When they don't suck, they are awesome.

The older video footage is amateurish, however the domination at that time was more intense. The newer stuff, such as the recent release Hard Ass Discipline, with Lexus Lane, has some of the most intense spanking. Lexus Lane was the head of her dance team in high school and is tough. The tougher a model is, the harder she gets punished.

If you say that you read the review on this site, I will send you two dvds for the price of one. Don't hose me on this, only one time per customer. I don't think you will be disappointed with the content. Most reviews are favorable. Not everyone's fetish will be satisfied. I like cute bodies. I thought Attackers 79 was the best of the Attackers titles that I have seen. And that's saying something, because I have liked most of the titles I have viewed. Your reviews and comments about the amount of torture and abuse to which the girl is subjected were not exaggerated. I have seen the trailer for this movie, and it looks like it might be pretty good. Even though it is a Hibino movie, the trailer suggests it is pretty similar to one of the Attackers and/or Shark movies. In part, that may be because the villains are well-known Attackers regulars.

In the trailer, there is one scene where one of the women is bound to the prison bars, and her torturer is pouring steaming-hot water from a kettle into her mouth. It reminded me a little bit of the coffee scene with Bridgette Bayonne in Ballista 2.

1) Is it just me, or does it almost look like the victim in today's DH51 photo has six toes on her left foot?

I don't know anything about the softwares you mentioned, but I use WinDVD Creator from Intervideo myself and it would do the job. (www.intervideo.com, they have a free trial version for download).

The next test, which I will send about a minute from now, is the .tda version of the trailer. Since I am not a person who downloads stuff, I'm not certain which version is the right one -- or, for that matter, if either version will work.

Perhaps Per or any other downloading expert could let me know if either one works (Hopefully, one of them is right), and I will then send the right one on to Joanne. Thanks.

What problems are you having? I haven't streamed in a while but never had any real problems. You have to set up an account. After you do that, choose the movie you want, the real player should pop up, then you might have to enter your username and password and then the movie should stream. Hope this helps.

Drama: The Insex scene was more of an endurance test, and at 12 minutes, seemed a bit long and had very few peaks. It was interesting but not real exciting. The ZFX scene was shorter but way more dramatic. It had Brian Dunhill doing his usual great work as the villain (using his best Italian mobster accent), Chandra in the background laughing at Monica's sufferings, and Monica shaking like mad and screaming through her tape gag whenever Brian applied the shocks. It had an edge. It was evil fun. The Insex scene, in comparison, was rather boring. Winner: ZFX

Okay, I'm all for real. The Japanese do real and I love what they do. ZFX is simulated, but I definitely prefer them to Insex. Real does not always mean better. In this case, I think there's no doubt about which was the better scene. My opinion, anyway. What do others think? ZFX vs. Insex, how would you vote?

Okay, here's another subject I need your input on. RapidShare links. How do people feel about posting them here? I use RapidShare myself, and I know that file sharing is rampant on the net, but do we want to promote that here? Like I posted before, I do have a problem with posting links for entire movies, which I consider stealing a producer's work. Clips and such, which merely whet your appetite for the real thing, are not as objectionable for me. But keep in mind we have bondage producers who read and contribute to this site. Think about how they would feel if it was their copyrighted work that is being passed around for free on this site. I'm the moderator, but this is your forum. Let's get some opinions about how you feel about restricting or completely eliminating RapidShare and other file sharing links on this forum. This is something everyone needs to vote on.

As to simulated vs. real, I prefer real, and this scene with Tyler was hot. Reality sometimes fails in comparison to fantasy, however, I will concede that. But given the choice I'll take real over simulated any day.

I am of the opinion that the people producing Gimp-worthy material should be respected as the hard working artists that they are and I think it's totally counterproductive of us as fans to rip them off. I have met and spoken with several producers and models in this business, some who remain personal friends of mine, and I know exactly how they feel about it. Producing this kind of stuff for the limited audience it has is hard work and if the limited audience doesn't want to pay for it... Well, then there is no future for the producers.

So, allow Rapidshare links, but only when the poster actually has a right to share the material. Which I suppose will happen very seldomly. Turn this into a mayhem for stolen stuff and I'm gone from here. I'm sure the producers contributing here are too.

This being my first post I must first say hello. I would like to ask if anyone has an opinion on a vid or dvd the features the "tightest crotch rope" in your memory. Or really any scenes that really stood out for you.

I will not use this fourm to try to promote myself but would like to exchange ideas with other people who love bondage involving heavy crotch rope action. I would like to eventually try to find a model to suspend from one. I came very close once.

Clearly, I am not a RapidShare user, as my failed attempts to post a trailer last Sunday clearly demonstrated. My interest in this issue is more academic.

My problem is I don't find pirating and the whole "intellectual copyright" issue to be as black and white as some people would suggest.

To me, the pirating issue is really about the violation of copyright laws -- something our society has traditionally viewed as a joke. Pretty much everyone in the western world has owned a VCR at one time or another, and taped TV programs that were technically under copyright to someone else. So we have all copied someone else's intellectual property at some point.

What has changed, in recent years, is that the technology to reproduce other people's works has become more sophisticated. In particular, computers now allow people to reproduce material that is as good as the original source.

Hollywood has launched a big campaign against this, claiming that the pirating of DVDs is "theft," but it really isn't. The works in question have been copied, not stolen (assuming the original source was bought or legally rented). The crime in question is copyright violation -- the same crime its always been, and one that most people don't get too worked up about.

That's why Hollywood calls it "theft," to make it sound more alarming than it is. Also, by calling it "theft," Hollywood can avoid a trickier issue -- the fact that Hollywood helped to create the black market for pirated movies by over-charging for the retail copies of many DVDs. Make no mistake about it, the movie producers are doing everything they can to get the police to crack down on movie pirates, so that Hollywood doesn't have to undercut the black market in the one way that would truly work -- lowering their prices.

(As an aside, Hollywood is also exaggerating the amount of money it claims to lose to the DVD pirates. But I'll save that argument for another day).

So what does all this have to do with RapidShare?

Well, I think it falls under the same category of "intellectual property." Personally, I don't like seeing producers get cheated, and I don't think we should be encouraging anyone to copy other people's works. But I think we should recognize that this is a complex issue, and there are no real angels in this debate.

My view is we should support free speech and shouldn't "officially" ban links or references to RapidShare. Instead, we should agree as adults and responsible perverts that we won't post links that rip off someone else.

Posting a trailer to promote a movie is probably OK -- if only I could figure out how to do it.

Mr. Travis Lee: Please give us more of these highly interesting stories....And just one of the MANY questions I have: You've played so many different characters in ZFX's exciting tales...which of these characters was your favorite and why?

I am glad to be here as well. The model that I came very close to actually picking off the ground with a crotchrope is called Ayako. She is a great friend of mine in real life. I did it almost 4 years ago in Vegas. We had her stretched much like an old HOM tie. Nothing fancy wrists overhead and even wrapped in cloth like blackmore use to do. It protected the girls from the hemp and looked even more nasty. She was on tippy toes and her hips were being ratcheted forward. I got her to a point where her toes actually came off of the ground for a few seconds. Ayako is a tough camper, but even she caved quickly.

My bondage since than has gotten a ton better and my understanding of how to do this type of thing. She is flying in to spend several days with me in a couple of days. My intention is to get all five feet and 100 lbs lifted off the ground by double strand hemp crotchrope. I will let you know how it goes.

I was a kid in the 80's and cut my teeth so to speak on the HOM mags. All had heavy CR action, it stuck with me. When I shoot I am never as happy as when its an old wharehouse or nasty basement. Modern play dungeons do nothing for me. To this day I can't walk down a basement without thinking about Renee Baker hanging from a pipe in the ceiling. I really wonder if old HOM devotees are a dying breed.

First the subject of Rapidshare links. I look at the gimp board as a source for info on possibly worthy gimp like dvd's. Reading people's thoughts or reviews on movies is insightful and every once in a while will lead me to seek and eventually see some of the movies talked about here. What better way to get a perspective on movies than seeing short clips or reviews???

I agree with A Canadian on some issues regarding piracy and some issues I don't agree with. Yes, I do think some companies set themselves up for Piracy by charging way too much for a dvd. I don't feel badly when these people get ripped off because I believe they in turn have tried to rip off the unsuspecting consumer. I think we had this discussion before when I thought the Inquisition Live dvd's at 90 bucks a clip was not a fair price at all for the consumer. I also feel this way about the Nu-West spanking videos near 70 bucks for 30 minutes. To me this type of pricing sets up a cat and mouse game between the consumer and the movie maker.

I've been on the losing end of some of these deals when I was younger. How many times you get home after shelling out some good money and think to yourself I paid this much for this crap??? I also don't feel it is a bad thing if a few people get together and pool their resources and share. Maybe 4 people spend 50 bucks each on a dvd and share with each other bringing down the cost to 12 bucks each. I don't feel this is cheating but rather then getting a bit more for your money. There is, though, a line that goes with this and I am not sure where that is. I can tell you though it isn't Rapidshare.

I do feel it would be nice to see clips and previews but I am afraid that won't work in this world. Hell I even joined a few sites after seeing some pirated clips because it let me know the movies were good and I didn't mind paying for them. It could even work for advertising for the sites but once again not in this world.

The problem is it isn't easy to draw the line. Does a 3 minute preview turn into ten minutes? Does it turn into just the best parts of the movie and in turn costing the manufacturer money? The problem is Rapidshare isn't three or four like minded people getting together and sharing cost. It is really like 1000's of people getting free goods. I have seen some movies up there that within hours of its posting a thousand downloads have taken place. This is a problem and where I don't agree with A Canadian is that is does cost people a lot of money.

I read an article about the release of Spiderman 2. Disney secretly coded the movie reels. They used metal detectors for screenings and laser for checking the theaters once the movie was release. Security was top notch. The movie got released at midnight. Within 4 hours the first copy hit the net. Within 10 hours the movie was available on the streets. I think within 24 hours the movie was available in about 40 countries. Worse thing about this is only 3 original different pirated copies got reproduced 10000's times over and over. So I don't think Rapidshare here is a good thing.

Having said this I also want to say Per's hard stance on this issue shows the type of character he really is. So I tip my hat to him. In the same breath I tip my hat to Ralphus because he has done a great job on this board of making sure the gimp page doesn't contribute to piracy. He too respects the manufacturer. So in short even though previews would be nice I cant see the line not getting expanded and expanded until there is no line. These are just my thoughts am I not saying if they are right or wrong!

Think about HOM for a minute. In a mere 12-20 minutes they created a mood and some type of plot. You felt the damsel in distress. The model also looked like your everyday woman and I really think that is so important in creating the damsel in distress mood. I know the model pools for bondage today are pretty tough. The problem is the models don't really look like your everyday woman. I ask you how many tattoos, or piercings did you see in those HOM movies??? How many shaved pussies???? I think the average gimper doesn't want to see Sally Slut with piercings and tattoos tied up, they want to see Plain Jane the next store neighbor in distress. That is where the fantasy lies.

So I think many of today's bondage producers and actresses are failing to recreate that HOM mood. Maybe the fact the some of those movies were silent actually help them because we couldn't hear the bad acting. Even the way the model is dressed is important to me. If the model is wearing sexy Victoria's Secret clothing instead of everyday clothing that could kill the fantasy also. So the perfect bdsm movie for me and your right does include the empty warehouse and the damsel maybe wearing a business suit with pantyhose and a fair amount of pussy hair, no fake tits, and no tattoos struggling while the villain slowly strips her and ties her and of course torments her.

So the question I ask you is how many movies have you made like this? For that matter how many movies have most of the bondage producers of today made like this??? The truth of the matter is not many at all. I think ZFX has done a pretty good job of creating the mood even though all the action is pretty fake. So the dying breed in my opinion isn't in the HOM fans it is the producers that are the dying breed. Having an inside look at some of the numbers that get sold of these type of movies I can tell you that older ZFX releases still sell more then any new bondage on the market today. We are talking stuff that is 10 yrs old. Stuff that already sold a ton on VHS.

If I was a bondage producer...and I am not...I would asked myself why movies that are old still out sell new stuff??? My theory is because of the similarities to HOM and some of the ingredients I spoke of above. In short the HOM lovers are still around but like I said above just a bit hungry. I also want you to understand this isn't a knock on any of today's producers. I am friends with many who produce good bondage movies like yourself and Lew, Dan Hawke and many others.

Since I got into this biz I have tried and failed to catch that edgy HOM feeling. Your point on the tats is a good one. It is really hard to find a model without a tat or several. In fact one of the best models I have worked with in sometime, 625 from Insex has many. But I do understand how it destroys the everyday girl fantasy.

No producer that I know of would take your comments as a slam. In fact the majority I know would be interested in your feedback to make a better product.

ZFX manages to capture the raw feeling of HOM and I do like several of Rick's titles. I would have to say the Elaine Payton really did it for me. Have you ever seen her anywhere else? I would really like to shoot her. However I feel I will have to file that one under never. I have never really been a fan of glam bondage. Lots of opinions on Rapidshare here. While my stance posted earlier might come across as tough, I do think that sharing e.g. a preview clip just to highlight a production you have appreciated is totally OK. What I don't think is OK is to distribute entire movies and therefore cheating the producers. When it comes to getting something for free, the imagination of people is fantastic, I have heard so many excuses. "I'm just sharing with friends, that is permitted" (yeah, right, all the 18 347 people registered at the board where you posted the link is your close and personal friend...), "This producer charges so much for his DVD's, he's practically asking to be ripped off" (then don't buy them, it's as easy as that. It does't automatically mean you have a right to the movie for free). Common sense applies, like in so many cases in life. Respect the producers. They put down the had work to bring us this stuff. It's up to us to decide if we want to buy or not. I'm sure they respect that and we should respect their right to their material in return.

Does make me wonder what college age and 20-somethings think of classic HOM. Possibly not as meaningful to them as to those of us.

My first exposure to BDSM material were classic HOM mags and 8mm loops, so they hold a special place for me. Of course, there wasn't much other good BDSM material to find in the late 70s, early 80s. The fact that much of their stuff was so good is icing on the cake. I still consider them the best, then, and they hold up really well today. That no one has surpassed them (IMO) really is a tribute to their vision and style. I've not seen anything really that I like better. Close, maybe. Admittedly, I've not been looking that hard lately. I did some interesting superheroine in peril photo shoots for Superheroines.com (now on indefinite hiatus), but not much actual bondage, mostly implied.

The story lines, the struggles, the peril, the severity of the ties (especially the breast bondage and spread suspentions...WOW), are truly unmatched. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that the movies were dubbed over with music, which left the intensity of the pleas and the screams up to the view to imagine... Also I am a rare breed on this board as I like to see F/f shoots. You don't seem to ever do those shoots stgmajor, but are you ever planning to in the future?

HOM always got really good fear or peril reactions from the actresses. Probably helped that these were silent 8mm films, which let the director direct the talent while the camera's rolling.

The limiting factor of 8mm shoots may have been an asset too. The fact that these were relatively short films, 10-minutes or so that had to fit on a 4-inch (approx) film reel. Not much of any filler went in the final edits. Just the good stuff. Makes for good pacing, and little room for filler material. Producers doing 45, 60 minute videos for VHS or DVD now always seem to leave too much filler (fast forwarding material) on their vids.

I suppose I like the film look better too, but I'm pretty used to digital video. Running a good vid through a film simulator might be cool. Running a bad vid through it won't help any :)

Not sure what Darkroom means with "dubbed over with music." The loops were shot using 8mm silent film, so there wasn't anything to dub over. The music was added on later for VHS and Beta dubs. The music was always annoying to me. I watched the loops with the sound off, and mostly at a slight or not so slight slow motion cause the original loops on 8mm projecter ran slower than what's on the VHS dubs (and probably the DVDs as well). It's been awhile since I've watched them. You've all inspired me to take a look again.

HOM isn't all gold though. They had some crappy videos too. Somewhere in the archives are various people's ratings of the various Bondage Classic collections. I see (just looked) Lyndon's still charging a lot for BC DVDs: $50. Is there a better source? My VHS versions are getting old.

Getting a model to shoot is not a real problem, in fact sometimes I fear its too easy for people who are not known. Its knowing what to do with her once you have the girl to bind. Rope skills and knowing how to read a girl who may not know what she is doing or gotten herself into can be a real challenge. Darkroom, I guess I would need more info about what direction you want to go. Everyone starts somewhere and goes from there, good luck.

You could also rent space and scenery in the studio, had jails, dungeons etc. etc. I know that there was, at least, one other such studio in the L.A. area.

Also there are BDSM clubs that throw parties where you can make contacts etc. etc.A lot of the girls are looking for some extra cash and are more than willing to shoot movies, if they trust you, or know someone who can vouch for you. I used Aja (pretty famous porn star a few years back) in a couple of movies because she knew someone who knew me. Anyway, it seems cities like San Francisco, Chicago, New York etc. etc, should have similar type situations.

I'm looking for a website that offers streaming (Video on Demand) videos that are of damsel-in-distress and abduction, kidnapping, theme movies. I don't want videos that spend an hour of the hour and a half time just focusing on the girl squirming, I want movies that have a plot, a storyline along the lines that the girl is kidnapped to be a slave for the man like Custom Maid over at dizdat.com. I've viewed some of the movies over at davidknightbondage.com, dizdat.com, zfxvideo.com, and bindher.com. All have an aspect that I like, but I've yet to find someone who combines everything that I like. That is a storyline and plot, a girl that isn't covered in tattoos, struggling from the girl, not focusing on the girl struggling or getting tied up, dialogue between the girl and villain, a little violence isn't bad, and a kidnapping, abduction, slave, ransom themed movie.

I have some real interesting stuff in the cutting room that may never be released depending on what direction this nation goes with the next election. The guy from Diz Dat is a good friend of mine. You may take some time and just keep collecting the jewels when you find them. I don't think there is one site that offers all. But rather several that offer some. Just my opinion.

Here is a little synopsis i got from www.beyondhollywood.com:

The stunning Aya Sugimoto stars as Shizuko, a bored and unfulfilled trophy wife of a wealthy businessman. When her husband (a weaselly Hironobu Nomura) is blackmailed by the Yakuza, Shizuko is sold to decrepit Oyabun Tashiro (Renji Ishibashi) as payment. Tashiro, in turn, places Shizuko in a private S&M show for an elite audience in order to satisfy his own unfulfilled sexual needs. This is all the more disturbing because boss Tashiro is a 95-year old shriveled, drooling invalid hooked to an oxygen bottle. The balance of the film consists of Shizuko being subjected to a series of sexual and emotional humiliation for the enjoyment of the masked audience, all of it presented in unflinching detail by Ishii's leering camera.

Personally, even though the women are beautiful, I was sort of lukewarm on it. Worth checking out, though, especially if you're into Japanese bondage. They spent a bunch on this one. And it's relatively easy to find, too. Netflix carries it.

IMO, try to find the 1974 original of Flower and Snake with Naomi Tani for the far superior version of that movie. That one will be tougher, although I did find a private collector that I acquired mine from. I did a quick search and found at least one source that carries the DVD; don't know if they are reliable.

Good catch on that Dan Hawke vid. That must have just gotten released. Liz Tyler is back :) That other chick looks cute, too, and Dan's putting her through the multiple all-over clothespin treatment. I might want to review that one myself, although I know when Thees does his review, Dan is usually kind enough to donate stills for the board. Something to look forward to.

This one finds her in Paris where she meets a Japanese artist whose greatest talent (it seems) is tying up Ms Sugimoto for sex. A couple of other young ladies of Nippon are also bondaged.

The movie climaxes in an underground (literally) art gallery where, in order to prove the authenticity of some bondage paintings, Ms Sugimoto must again be bound. The movie ends with a fairly long scene of our heroine having her clothes whipped off in some kind of dream(?) sequence.

Lovers of Japanese bondage will like "Hana to Hebi 2". Ms Sugimoto is as gorgeous as in the original and takes on some fairly stringent bondage. As in the original, the settings and lighting are superb, but the sex is pixelated, or photographed in ways that hide actual penetration. I rate "Hana to Hebi 2" a B+ primarily for its bondage sequences and, of course, our beautiful heroine Ms Sugimoto.

What I was actually very curious of is what character that you played are you most fond of. You've played, to name a few from the top of my head, Dr. Zach (in the Guinea Pigs series), Otis Hearald (Nightprowler series), the Phallic Killer (Phallicide), the Witch Hunter (Witchhunt, IMHO Ms. Candi Licks greatest performance). To me it always felt that in some parts you were more getting in to the character and less 'going through the motions' than in other parts. I'd be very interested in your opinion on this.

When I was in Munich last summer for Bondcon 2 I was amazed at the amount of ZFX titles I saw on the shelves. I fear the vast majority of them were bootleg copies. In fact I saw insex DVD's low and behold the intersec company had not released dvd's as of that time. Have you had any luck just looking around the adult shops. That would be my suggestion.

In my opinion, Insex did some pretty intense electro torture sessions focusing on breast and genital shocks, mostly interrogation scenese where, if the woman gave the wrong answer, they were shocked. A session might go like this:

"When did you suck your first dick?"

The answer, "I don't know! Please!"

The response, "That's not the right answer!" and they were zapped really good.

The scenes were real and very intense and, at times, many ended up in tears. The struggles were real. Anyway, Insex closed and was sold to some European job that charges the same price, $69 for one month, but shows a mere fraction of the archives--way too expensive for what you now get. But if you're hungry for electro torture, that's a good place to look.

Sadoboy asks about electro scenes, and I have to bring up one of the all time greats, with Kelly Mackay, in SOB IV, where she's tied against a wall, and shocked repeatedly with jumper leads to her tits and pussy. Not only is this scene great in its own right, it pretty much drives home ZFX's strengths - in fact, if someone who was into bondage asked me why I recommend they watch any ZFX film, this scene is probably one of three or four that I would be pretty sure wouldn't fail. Why is it so great? Because the artistry and actual 'unreality' of it, I would argue, sells it even beyond that possible if the scene was real.

Now, as much as I like Insex, and acknowledge how much they did for the craft, the interrogation scenes that were mentioned, for me, fail completely as erotica. What they are, are brilliant studies in humanity and psychology, and I watch them in the same way that I would watch an art movie that portrays something that I will/may never experience myself. I just find it impossible to actually get turned on by them. To put that in perspective, my favourite scenario is electric based interrogation.

By contrast, the ZFX scene doesn't muddy the waters with psychology, therapy, or any of those interesting but ultimately unerotic (for me) concerns, and sticks to the tormentor acting exactly as he should, and the victim acting exactly as she should, as evoked by the best written fiction or imagination. There also doesn't have to be any concern about safety whatsover, as electro is one of the easiest torments to fake completely and convincingly, and the actors and director can focus totally on making a great scene to watch (to refer to the SOB scene again, if it was done in reality it would almost certainly lead to death or extreme injury if carried out in real life).

On a slightly different subject, thank you to Ralphus for the vintage photos that have been appearing - they bring back many great memories of the excitement and outright dirtyness which seems missing from so much web based porn :)

AOH ties tend to lift the breasts a bit, lending tautness to these lovely parts of the female anatomy. And the women's tendons and muscles stand out better as the women squirm around, straining against their confinement -- and of course the pain.

Apologies for disappearing for a while. I just returned from a long vacation--traveling in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Since I didn’t want to bring my computer, it was hard to go online, particularly to visit exotic websites, while on the road. In any case, I returned to find the CUT movie in my pile of mails. I quickly skimmed the movie, and am already convinced it's worth the wait and paying for it twice. I am not good enough a writer to attempt to write an official review. But here is my first impressions, and as I watch the movie more closely I will share more thoughts with GIMPers.

First and foremost, Angie is gorgeous and an excellent actress. In addition to being able to convey pain and hopelessness, she seems to excel at expressing fear. The ability to show complex emotions is a mark of a true actress.

And then, Knife play is a big turn on for me, and this movie is all about cutting. For those who is sheepish about blood and gore, don't worry, it has just enough blood to get you excited, but not to upset you. The cutting sequence seems to span at least half of the movie with Angie tied up AOH, and wearing noting but flesh-toned bra and panties, which gives a good illusion of being completely naked. The thing that really impresses me is that, the film makers seem to be able to tell a good story with all this cutting, and at the same time you don't feel interrupted from the action, as you would watching other B movies when they try to tell a story.

The only peeve I have is that during the first half of the movie before the cutting begin, they could have tried a variety of torture (or even rape) scenarios. The one thing they tried was the electro-torture scene discussed in the earlier posts. Although Angie did a good job, the set up is unconvincing. She was supposed to get tired holding her feet, which were wired to a car battery, above a bucket of water. But, it was obvious that nothing in the way she was bond to the chair would have prevented her from finding a more comfortable position. A much better sequence would have been some struggle, slapping and hitting. And, perhaps rape. And, I bet Angie would have pull those more ambitious plot off with flying colors. As it is, they’ve under-utilized Angie’s talent.

In any event, it appears that my "Grand Tour" vacation is extending to the dark side.

It's good to see a positive review for the movie besides mine. I've been doing some work with the Guestbook Archives lately, and I took the opportunity to reread the comments that hit the board from the others when it first came out. It was pretty split, with some really liking the movie and others giving it low marks, mainly because they wanted to see nudity. The one thing everyone seemed to agree on was that Angie Morris was beautiful. I think she did a great job as a victim, as did all the other actors, particularly Jesse Sorrell as the sick fuck who initiates her torture.

It's just such a shame that the movie is so hard to find anymore. It's hard for others to discover this little gem if the movie is unavailable. Stray Thoughts bought up some prints before the movie went out of print, and last I heard, they only had just a few left. Anybody who wants to see it had better grab one before they are completely gone.

Well, I was hoping Dreambook would be back up and running before now, but I still cannot access the control panel, and they haven't even replied to my repeated e-mails on the subject. Unfortunately, with a free host, we're sort of at their mercy as to when they decide to get things working again.

I also like the scene in South of the Border 4 where Lisa is completely bound to the wooden post and receives the stun-gun shocks from Joseph Marx. She is ball gagged and her cries are muffled, but her complete helplessness in this scene is very sexy. The scene where she receives electric shocks (from Marx, again) in South of the Border 5 is also quite good.

Generally, I'm not a big fan of electro-torture. I prefer to see women being whipped, raped, and tormented with vibrators.

I bought Crucifixion from InquisitionLive. It's probably not worth the money, in my opinion. The actress is very nice and heavily made up (torture make up, fake blood, marks, etc.) The whipping scenes are nowhere near the equal of the Interrogation 13 scene, where the woman has her clothes whipped completely off. Perhaps the most irritating part of this flick is that, right in the middle of the "severe" torture, whipping, rolling on a "spiked" roller and use of tongs, she starts laughing and laughs hysterically for a couple minutes. There's a real turn-on! She also is forced to take a giant vegetable inside her, which also seems to be pretty hilarious. She is impaled on a large wooden stake, and that seems to be less funny. When she's finally "crucified", the scene is decent, though rather bloody for my taste.

There's a lot of standing around and pretty poor special effects (the "crown of thorns" bit). Nice body on the model and she's capable of some nice responses; it would be a decent flick for 1/3 to 1/2 the price.

Funny BDSM won my 2005 Ralphus Award for Biggest Rip-off Website. If you join...which I personally would not recommend...do it for their old material on the site, from back when they used to be Brutal Violence. Back then, they had some creative stuff, with some nice-looking women, too. They were more like ZFX in their themes. But now...their stuff is truly pathetic. The tortures are not realistic, the stories (about 20 minutes long, give or take) are dumb and everything is played for laughs. I went back last week to see if they had gotten any better. I read a few of the storylines and looked at some pictures, and they were so dull and stupid that I didn't even bother to download any of the movies. I can't believe I paid 400 bucks for the total SHIT they churn out now. I hope they go out of business.

Sad Story Under War, the Japanese movie by the Hibino company, is a flick with a whole lotta rapin' going on. It's mostly just one rape scene after another, and -- unfortunately -- the rape scenes are rather uninspired. The result is a movie that's generally unsatisfying.

It begins with a mother and daughter being left at home after the father heads off to war. The mother is reasonably attractive in an MILF kinda way, while the daughter is just average looking -- not ugly, but she's no head turner. Anyway, as they are worrying about their soldier father, they are interrupted by three enemy soldiers who break in and grab them as hostages.

After one guy slaps mom around a little bit (in a fake-looking moment), two soldiers spread the daughter out on the floor for the first rape. As one guy is holding her arms down, the soldiers lift up her white blouse and remove her black dress. The soldier who is going to rape her begins by sucking on her tits and then licking her pussy through some white panties. The daughter's panties are removed and the mother, who is being held captive nearby, is forced to watch as her daughter gets fucked.

The first rape of the daughter is pretty good, I guess. Although she wasn't held down as firmly as she should have been when her clothes were being removed, her arms are pinned pretty tightly to the floor when the actual fucking begins. As the rape is coming to an end, the crying mother's face is pushed close to the scene of penetration, and it remains there after the rapist withdraws from the daughter and some cum seeps out. The pudgy soldier who is holding the mother uses his finger to wipe some of the daughter's cum and then he smears it on the mother's face. (By the way, the pudgy soldier is played by an actor who is a regular in the Attackers movies).

Next, the daughter gets raped a second time by the soldier who was holding her arms the first time. This time, she gets raped in the doggie position (not too believable), while the captive mother is forced to watch once again. At one point, a sword is help up to the mother's face to keep her restrained. There's a lot of crying and wailing here, by mother and daughter, for those who like that sorta thing. Anyway, when it's over, a soldier plunges his sword into the daughter and she is killed.

Mom is taken to a jail cell, where she is soon found lying on her back on a bed, fully dressed, with her hands cuffed above her head to the iron bars in the bed's headboard. A higher-ranking soldier has arrived (this guy is another Attackers regular) and he begins using his covered sword to lift up her black dress and tease her body. He then proceeds to lick her toes and then her ear, and then opens her white top to reveal a beige negligee underneath. He lowers the top part of the negligee to show her tits, which he spends some sucking. Eventually, he removes her handcuffs from the top of the bed and cuffs her hands behind her back, so that she can be forced to sit up and suck him. With her hands still cuffed behind her back, the villain forces her to lay on her back and he fucks her in the missionary position. He then has her climb on him for a cowgirl ride, followed by doggie and finally back to missionary.

And the rapes continue ... The other three soldiers return, and while the high-ranking guy from the previous rape sits down in a leather comfy chair to watch, these soldiers have their way with mom. With her negligee still on, she is spread out on a bed, with one guy holding her arms down and another threatening her face with a knife. The knife is used to cut openings in her negligee for her nipples, which one guy sucks. Mom is then forced to blow one of the soldiers, and then two guys take turns fucking her in the missionary position.

Finally, we get to a change in the scenery, as the soldiers take mom (who is still wearing the negligee) over to the brown comfy chair. She is tied down in the chair, with her hands cuffed above her head to the back of the chair and her legs tied to the sides of the chair. With mom strapped in and helpless, one guy shows up with a kettle. He squeezes mom's cheeks to force her to open her mouth, and then pours the water in. She gurgles and spits up some of the water, but the pouring continues.

Unfortunately, this scene is not convincing. The water doesn't look hot (there is no steam) and the woman doesn't look to be in enough agony to convince anyone that this is supposed to be boiling hot water. Too bad.

In any event, another soldier shows up with a vibrator, and he inserts it in the victim and grinds away, ultimately leading to some pretty serious gushing from her pussy.

Near the end, we get to the one great scene in the movie. Our captive mom, alone in her cell, is now weak and thirsty, and she crawls along the floor of her cell to the jail bars, where she begs the soldier on the other side (the pudgy guy) for some water. Trembling and shivering, she looks pitiful and broken, and very sexy. The soldier returns with the kettle and a cup, and starts pouring some water into the cup. However, as our trembling heroine is reaching out of her cage, trying desperately to grab the cup, the soldier waves the cup around, and then drinks the water himself. He then goes to pour more water and pretends to be missing the cup, deliberately spilling the water onto the floor while mom cries out in misery.

Fortunately, the soldier comes up with another way to satisfy the woman's thirst. He enters the cell, grabs the woman by her hair, and marches her over to the next cell and into the comfy chair. With the woman seated in the chair, he takes out his dick and pees in her face. She's so thirsty, she actually drinks his piss, and from what I could tell there wasn't anything simulated here. I'm pretty sure she really was drinking his urine. Anyway, this is followed by more fucking and sucking scenes, pretty much repeating the same stuff we have already seen.

Overall assessment: not recommended.

The part with the woman begging for water -- and ultimately having to settle for drinking pee -- is terrific and worth seeing. Unfortunately, that is the only scene I enjoyed in this movie. The rest is just a series of rapes that are pretty dull.

Kind of a pisser that the boiling water scene got blown, because I was looking forward to the movie for that particular scene. It shouldn't have been hard to simulate steam, so I'll chock that up to them just being lazy and not taking initiative, or else thinking it wasn't important. It is important, though. Those small details are what make the difference between pulling off an illusion and having it fail.

I do love the idea of making a torturing a woman to the point where she willingly has to drink piss. She's so desperate for water she has to humiliate herself and drink something as vile as piss in order to survive. How degrading! Almost worth getting the movie just to see that.

As our dvd's sell more in Europe and around the US I have come to really think about the viewer and what they are getting for the money they spend.

If Ralphus gives me a hard knock well I guess I have one coming. Some of my early stuff really was pretty off the wall and the production quality was weak. We has just bought a 4 thousand dollar camera. Know we must learn how to use it and get the rest of the set up. At the end of the day when I think over what I have done I really only need to be pleased with my work. If people get off on it and I can make some cash thats a bonus.

The first movie I will be sending to ralphus is FA 03 called hard roped. Its pretty tame compared to most ZFX stuff but it has its moments. I really do welcome any comments good or bad about my stuff, thats the only way I am going to get better.
