The older ones are better. My faves are Night Prowler 1 (and 2 to a little lesser extent) and Highway to Hell. Out of more recent videos, I really liked the two Underland videos (the first better than the second), the first half hour of Guilty, and Forced Entry, though the latter lacked the kind of energetic performance that I prefer.

I'm not familiar with VCDs. Are the videos a fraction of the screen size and relatively poor quality compared to video? If they are, I'm not interested. I'd been ignoring streaming video for years, but heard so much about it that I wondered if the technology had improved. When one of the bigger bondage companies jumped into it, I was amazed at how tiny the image was and how much they wanted to download a full video ($25 for near postage stamp sized 1 hr streaming video vs. $30 for a videotape). I guess this format is the only one that some people have access to, so it serves a purpose. For the amount of net experts who have been bragging that streaming video will displace regular video, that's a laugh until the internet pipelines can handle full-screen quality video and deliver a comparable product. I don't understand why somebody can become so enamored over an inferior technology just because it's new.

It's possible that I've seen a video of the VCD that you recommended, but the bulk of Japanese videos I've seen are repackaged as an S&M series (numbering over 400 tapes now), but the titles are usually in Japanese, so I have no idea what the name of the video is and only have the number which is meaningless other than keeping a list of what I've seen. Some of the schoolgirl videos have had very good rape scenes. I'm not into the schoolgirl fantasy, but that comprises an overly large proportion of Japanese bondage fantasies, so they're hard to avoid. As far as I can tell, the girls are of legal age, based on some large natural bust sizes, but it's hard to peg the age of a Japanese actress. Orientals have round faces and a softer look. An oriental model can play a teenager well into her 30s whereas western models look ridiculous trying to do the same.

I was a fan of Courtney Bishop, another of ZFX's honies from the early days, and she gets raped by Lee in both "Futureshock" and "Belly of the Beast". Both are excellent early efforts from ZFX that some of the newbies may not know about. The scene in "Belly of the Beast" starts off as a couple coming back to their hotel room after an evening out and quickly develops into a date rape, with Travis suddenly going ballistic on Courtney by handcuffing her, gagging her with a cloth and forcibly taking her from behind, in a very nice and long scene. Like I mentioned before, I think it's one of the best rape scenes ZFX has ever done.

Another recent scene that stood out for me was with Pamela Price, as she was strapped down to an operating table and raped by Brian Dunhill in "Whiplash 2" (Great stuff!). Lisa Kinkaid has had at least two rape scenes that I thought were exceptional: The anal rape she suffered in "Whiplash 4" (the highlight of the tape) and maybe my favorite of all ZFX rape scenes, "Forced Entry", where she is tied spread- eagled to the bed by her attacker. He gags her with a washcloth which is tied around her head with a phone cord, and savagely attacks the lovely Lisa, who shows why she's one of ZFX's best actresses by making the scene seem very real.

I'm sure there are plenty more; these are just a few that come to mind without thinking real hard about it. BTW, I think maybe Rick is listening to the fans on this board, many of whom have mentioned they want to see more rape scenes in his videos. So far each of the new releases from this year have included at least one rape scene (well, at least 4 of the first 5; I haven't seen "666 Part 2" yet, but I will soon). It seems like we all have different tastes, and maybe watch ZFX vids for different reasons, but I think we all like to see a good bondage rape every now and then. Gets the old blood pumping! :o)

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the vids you mentioned as reflecting Rick listening to this guestbook were in the can nearly a year ago even though it took till recently to get them out. Rick clearly reads this guestbook, but I'm not sure how much he can follow our wants considering that our opinions are so contrary to one another. BLOOD!: I have to say I'm not necessarily into the blood and bruised thing either, but I do think it enhanced the realism of some scenes. I like to experiment. I agree that this last batch of shows was more blood incrusted than usual, but I've actually been using it (blasco blood)for years. I took it further than usual by adding the heavy beating scenes. I like to try new things though and so this is just another creative avenue. You will probably see less of it in the future however;)

Scream Queens crossover: You guys are forgetting blonde flat top cutie Lianna(spell?) Quigly, who did some nice stuff for Cal Star and alot of other companies as well as doing a bunch of low budget horror movies. Some of the early Cal Star stuff was pretty decent albeit short on sexual content and even nudity at times. Very fine gals like Ms Quigly and Kim Bittner made the stuff viewable.

Love Bondage: I'm not a big Harmony fan because I find it kinda boring. On the plus side though, the gals are always gorgeous and the bondage superlative. I have not seen any of the girl-girl close up concepts stuff other than a trailer for some story based girl-girl stuff which didnt look too bad. I think maybe my interests run darker, maybe more sweaty and gritty.

RR-Lorelie: Eh, I don't think linking some ones adult fake name and their mainsteam acting fake name is any big deal, real names are another matter. In any case, the wishes of the adult performer should be respected when possible, but these things are really very common knowledge. I think Lorelie hit the nail on the head with her comments that for the most part, people in the bondage/fetish world have an interest in what they are doing or they would be doing mainstream porn, because thats where the money is. I also agree that directors and artists for the most part do what they personally think is erotic, but its flavored with a want and desire for commercial success as well. They also try to follow the letter of the law and to a lesser degree the customs of the people they wish to distribute their products to.

Bondage in the media: Yep, sex sells and sex and violence sells even better. The mainstream folks figured out a long time ago that showing a hot babe bound and gagged gets ratings, but they rarely, at least on TV, show anything too overtly sexual. Soap operas are a good example of material that pushed the limits. The episodes where one of the characters is bound and in captivity or peril are the top rated shows. Why? Well, I think the human psyche is so complex its variables are almost infinite, but the best blanket answer is (rather vague) it evokes a response at a very deep emotional and even physiological level in a lot of people. It might be sexual stimulation , fear, disgust or anger but no matter what the response is, its a powerful one and it gets our attention. I think for a time, particularly during the late 80s early 90s, the media giants were more concerned with political correctness and riling the feminists or the religious right, but since then bondage as a selling tool has crept back into TV and movies. I think bondage has a very wide appeal, but for many different reasons and not always sexual.

Ralphus and Penetration: Dammit man!;) I dont think thats quite what I said about bondage and penetration. I said there was no law that I am aware of that says you can't show actual hardcore penetration with bondage in a movie. That would violate the 1st amendment which say Congress shall make NO law abridging freedom of speech or the press, with few exceptions. I also said it is against the customs in some areas of the US and might trigger an obscenity prosecution(so called obscene material does not enjoy the protections afforded non obscene speech), but thats just on the obscenity end. The real legal peril is that you could be charged with sexual battery. You know, the really bad Felony-kiss-your-sweet-ass-goodbye-to- the-bighouse charge. Heres the deal. A person who is drugged, under age, inescapably immobilized(tied up), in fear for their life or welfare, cannot give consent to sex. I believe its called diminished capacity. If your going to tie someone up and perform a sex act on them, you best make sure that they are a fully consenting, sober adult and be dam sure its someone who will not say you raped them, cause if they do, you could be in deep shite. If they file a complaint you could be in serious trouble regardless of whether they appeared to give consent at the time or not. Of course there are ways in the production of a movie to make someone appear to tied and have it illusionary. That would negate the danger as long as you could prove that the the person involved was consenting, not really restrained. Basically though, I think as long as the performer and director are acting in good faith the chances of a rape charge are very slim, but would you risk it? There are some that do. To my knowledge, there has never been such a charge filed against any actual professional adult company, but thats not to say it hasnt or that it couldn't. A safer approach is the simulate the penetration and the safest approach is to not have sexual content at all. This is the way most of the adult companies go. I think most of us would like to see penetration though I'm not a big fan of endless in- out clinical close ups you often see in hardcore pornos. The initial penetration, the reaction and then a few cut-to shots is plenty. Then of course, a climax/cum shot is nice, even if its sometimes internal. I find the site of a womans mouth ass or vag (or all three at once;)stuffed with a object or cock very erotic, particularly if she finds it very unpleasant and is helpless to prevent it. One thing I strongly feel is that trying to do these things in reality is actually very limiting. For instance, in Blunt Trauma Chandra Sweet Shoves a grapefruit sized but plug up Penny Paces ass and ties it in. There are few woman or men as small as her that could take that butt plug and not need a Depends afterward. To me the beauty of movie making is not so much to document reality but to twist it to suit my needs. If I wanted to create the illusion and spent the money to create it, I could show you a fire hydrant tied in some ones ass. In a movie, any thing is possible and I like stuff that goes beyond the possible.

About the Lisa Kinkaid comments: I simply asked her the questions and she answered them, I would not try to draw too many personal conclusions from that. I said in my opinion, that I did not think she personally was into being tied up. Why if someone is not personally into bondage or being tied up would they do it so much? I do think she(Lisa) likes being in front of the camera and its fairly easy, quick money. Working for me is not unpleasant and I pay well. We try to have some fun while we work, but its hard work. Comments about mainstream porn like Celler Dweller: Companies like Extreme Associates have pushed the limits in mainstream porn with movies that have hard core(actual penetration) rape scenes like Celler Dwellar, but no bondage scenes. Then theres Max Hardcore, another mainstream guy working the darker side of sex for many years, though not really violent per se. A recent release called Rough Sex by Anabolic featured some very ruff stuff and in fact some of the models that worked on the movie critized the director and male performers because it was claimed they went too far with the reality aspect, that the performers were abused on the set, at least according to their comments in the AVN. This was not a bondage movie but rather a slap the girl around while verbally degrading her and grudge fucking type deal with actual penetration. At any rate the show won an AVN award but was pulled off the market because of the flak they were receiving over it, mainly from within the porn community itself.

I'd forgotten about Leanna Quigley. I do remember seeing some of those early videos and wondering if it was her. Leanna has one of those common looking faces; attractive, but not necessarily outstanding enough to remember. Kim Bittner has a much more exotic look that's easy to recognize. June Bauer/Julia Parton (whose website acknowledges her bondage work in her bio/videography) is just stunning and is hard to miss. Surprisingly, Traci Lords did an early HOM Ponygirl video when she was still an adult actress.

Traci Lords is the only porn actress that I can think of that's achieved some level of stardom in mainstream films and TV, but only did so after dropping out of the porn business. I'm not a fan of Howard Stern, but he frequently has porn stars on his show. E! has had adult stars, Jenna Jameson and Serenity, host a few of their specials. Ashlyn Gere has appeared on a few Fox shows. There's a trickle that's occurring that should open up more in the future.

We live in a strange society when it is acceptable to show graphic murders in the movies, but not graphic sex. I think it was George Carlin who made the observation that it’s okay to kill people in movies, but not to show them having sex, unless you kill them while they’re doing it.

Re: MetaCreations, I don’t think they split up as much as they realigned their business by selling all their graphics products so that they could focus on MetaStream and the web.

Rick obviously reads this board, but my guess is that when it gets down to it, he pretty much makes whatever tapes he wants to make. Traci Lords in an HOM pony girl video? Was she underage when she did it? Techincally, since there is likely no sex in it, would the video be illegal if she was in fact underage when she did the vid?

If I remember my Traci Lords trivia, Traci only made one porn film when she was of legal age. I'm not sure about the legality anymore of her underage flicks. I know that they were pulled at one point, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that they were quietly coming back on the market. There's kind of a gray area to the law. The law exists to protect minors from being exploited prior to the age of legal consent. Traci made over 50 adult films before being exposed. It was almost silly banning the films at that point. Traci looked young, but you'd be hard pressed to say that she wasn't 18 because she had very large breasts even then. A pedophile wouldn't get any thrills watching her underaged videos because she didn't have the underage look that they want. I don't really know what the legal status of those videos are. If they're still being banned, it's more for the letter of the law than the sensible application of the law.

The default Poser 4 male nude character's dick can be swung around in all three XYZ motion axes and rotated/scaled along the same. Between what comes with Poser and the morph targets that others have created, there should be something there that will work.

But speaking of Traci, right around the same time frame there was a hardcore feature released w/Traci called "The Year of Loving Dangerously" that had hints of bondage on the cover. I wanted to get it but waited too long. This was also the time frame in which hardcore still did bondage (just as I was getting old enough). Did anyone see this and if so was Traci tied and done or was the cover just a teaser? Rick nice to see an update from you. Anything else going besides SOB5 right now? I know you like pushing the envelope at times so just wanted to share a, what could have been a great video segment. I should have known better but I got a vid from another company that I thought could have been interesting....no such luck. Anyways like I said, the video sucked and all I could think about was if it would have been done (and still can) by Rick how good it could have been done. Anyway, my main angle in this post is that I'd like to encourage Rick to try a different kind of story. It' s been brought up here before, and some of the regulars were less than enthusiastic. I'm talking about superheroine-in- peril. Before you jump all over me, I AM planning to buy Ms. Ballista I and II, but just reading the story lines and looking at the stills on Rick's site, I can tell they will frustrate me more than not. Ms. B is not a superheroine; she's a wannabe in spandex that doesn't present a real challenge to the bad guys. The models for my kind of story are Wonder Woman and Supergirl-- or lawyer proof similacra of them--rendered helpless by super powerful or super smart bad guys. We SIP freaks like it when the arrogant heroine resists vigorously, rather than just holding out her arms for the ropes and puckering up for the ball gag. In classic SIP, the superheroine almost wins but the villains are astonishingly ruthless and, after a terrific struggle, she inevitably ends up in the dire ZFX straits that we all want to see. The Terrific Struggle is really important! The pleasure comes, not just from seeing her exposed and tormented, but first from seeing her costume violently ripped from her jiggling flesh as she is beaten senseless, forced to her knees, and her pride is utterly destroyed. Call it foreplay, okay? Arrogant pride destroyed; that's my thing!

I accept that Rick's only gonna make the movies that ring his clock. If his creative juices require that all his victims be mute, submissive, ordinary girls then SIP may not inspire him. But for me, SIP is the perfect metaphor for my frustration as a male in a post-feminist nightmare world. Personally, I haven't seen any of Traci's videos making a comeback. I seem to recall a note in the alt.sex.porn (or somethin' like that) FAQ saying that they were being sold. There's a Traci Lords FAQ that's more of a sales brochure than a FAQ (no bio or other info on Traci, only a listing of videos with an address to the company selling them). If a company is misrepresenting themselves from the get-go, I'd be leery buying from them. There are options for bigger streaming window sizes--if you have T1, cable, or DSL you'll do OK. If I had my druthers, I'd like to see it all in QuickTime for quality and stability issues. You pay your money and you take your chances.

I currently belong to Superheroine Central. They charge $20 per month, more than twice what Superheroine's Demise charges, but they offer a LOT more. Lots of pics, great looking (and not bad acting, either) models, even video clips and poser/comic artwork. They seem like a pretty straight-up bunch, so I stick with 'em.

Anyone remember Johnny Dangerously? I'm far too much of a cheap fargin' corksucking bastige to pay more than $20, and I looked over SHC for months before i broke down and paid that. I am sure that back when the scandal first hit, getting a tape of Traci was like making a million dollar drug deal. But nowadays it is probally more like having a nickel bag of pot. It is like having a cracked windshield on your vehicle, it is illegal but many of the cops wont say nothing to you because it is minor. But the young punks that are out to make a name for themselves will nail you to the wall. There are copies that do exist out there but I would just be wary if you really wanted to get one. Last thing you need is a sex charge on your record.

I think I do disagree about Ballista, though. She's a Batgirl-type, trained, not empowered. I always enjoy it when the young lady's clothing are what's used to tie her up with. Especially like when the panyhose or stockings are used (which assures her ending up barefoot). 7. Outdoors: Behind a building, in a wilderness area (ala HOM), on a balcony, on the roof of a building.

9. Record some audio at the shoots, so you can add some .wav files to your photo albums.

* I think I can come up with some teacher clothes that could be used to tie her. Losing the hosiery is a good idea because somebody else asked me to show off Darla's feet this time around. * I received a request for tears some time ago and I've been working on it. I need to do a delicate job with the lighting in order to get the tears to show up really nicely. * Breast slapping, crotch slapping... is there a way to do that in stills that it doesn't look silly? A motion is hard to photograph; it seems like no matter what, it looks goofy. (Look at the spanking magazines -- even photo'ing while they're actually spanking, it still looks odd... I've shot a few spanks here and there and I wasn't satisfied with how it looked.)

* Dildo - what a great idea! I have some really nasty-looking ones. So far this had only been planned in connection with the future "alien abduction/alien probe" set with Artemis Antone. It hadnt dawned on me to use dildos in other sets.

* I love the idea of splicing in some "onlookers". I don't know that I'd have the time to do that this time, but I'll at least try to work in that direction over the next few months -- shooting friends standing around in front of white walls, so that someday they can be cut/pasted and dropped into some set or another...

* Would LOVE to shoot outdoors. But I've gotten "caught" just about every time I've ever shot outdoors. Which I hate because that's nonconsensual for the onlookers. So I've kindof given up on that until I can somehow get a chance to shoot on secluded private property.

Artemis Antone has a new superheroine costume and she expressed interest in being her Superheroine character in her next Force shoot (the other set is going to be the alien probe one). I'm pretty sure Artemis won't go for tearing up her spandex outfit, but some of the other ideas posted here sounded do-able. Obviously since this is just photos, not video, I can't fill the void the way say ZFX could, but still... if you Superheroine fans could let me know if there are other elements that should be included in a Superheroine rape scenario, fire away.

* tears: Don't know what Bion is, but if you think it's better, go for it. And even if photos don't show the tears well initially, wonders can be done retouching in photoshop.

*Crotchropes: You can buy various types of hooks at hardware stores (home depot) that can be screwed into ceiling or wall. Also a bent nail, a large screw, a ladder, a closet beam could work, anything higher than her hips. And if she's tied sitting, kneeling, or if she's horizontal on the floor, then there are more options to loop the rope around, chair maybe, or tie the end to a doorknob. Once the ropes fairly tight through her crotch, the attacker can yank up on it or jerk it side to side.

*breast, crotch, etc. slapping: Well, I guess there's three types of shots to try. 1) Pre-slapping, where the attacker has his slapping hand raised and the girl has a look on her face that she knows what's coming, trying to pull away as best she can. 2) the actual slap, slapped hand on breast, pained look on girls face, probably opened mouth. Could do a motion blur of attackers arm and hand in photoshop, or set your shutter speed extra slow. Since Darla's probably not going to want her breast slapped, the POV could be camera - breast - hand, so the breast is covering up the supposed hand impact, so her expression would have to help us know she's been slapped. Flailing hair wouldn't hurt. 3) Just after slap, attackers open hand pulling away, could use motion blur or not, and aftermath look on girls face (good place for verge of tears expression). Along with hand slapping, there's also strapping the same areas with a belt.

Other ideas:

* evil patient rubs ben-gay or other deep heating rub all over her breasts and between her legs. You just need the tube to show what it is, then use some other kind of oil or moisteriser or cream substitute that you can actually rub in.

* panties removal. Have the attacker toy with her when he gets to this part, not just yank her panties off quickly. He could, for instance, start by actually pulling them up, giving her a wedgie. He taunts her with threats of taking them off. He lowers them a little from their normal position, stops and looks at her, then down a little more (we see a bit of bush now), stops, maybe even laughs, she begs him not to, he pulls them down to her thighs, leaves them there, gropes her between her legs, then pulls her panties down to her ankles, or cuts them off with scissors.

* coercion: patient tells nurse to spread her legs (panties are off now). She refuses. He straps her with a belt. She still refuses, he straps her harder. She spreads them a little, he wants them wider, really wide. She refuses, cries. He twists her nipple, straps her, everytime she refuses, he does something to coerce her to change her mind. Finally he gets her to spread wide for him. He gloats, makes her stay in that position, looks her over, she's humiliated.

I've also liked the idea of ripping off a woman's clothes and using it to bind and gag her. I'd like to ask for a gag, but I know that you're against using them at FF.

I don't have a whole lot of suggestions. The last FF shoot you did with Darla was so incredible that the main thing I'd ask for is more of that. Darla did such a great job of emoting in that one that I'm sure that she'll do as good if not better in this one. I wasn't that big a Darla fan till I saw that set. Boy, did that turn me around because it's one of my favorites of all the FF shoots.

If you've got a wooden pointer, I'm sure that you can think of some uses for it. I'm not sure that I'd go for a dildo on this set. I'm more into integrating the elements that are already available at the set. If the student is using Darla's clothes to tie her, then he probably wouldn't have brought a dildo with him or any other toys. Of course, he could always find a doldo in Darla's purse and use it to further humilate her. I'd rather see set pieces brought into play: pointers, ruler, markers, etc. Maybe he can be a real rat and write a failing grade on Darla's body with the marker (though I don't know how easy it is to wash off a wet-erase marker from skin).

There's nothing wrong with having the student photographing the action. In fact, it's a nice touch. For purposes of the fantasy, the final use of those photos isn't needed. After all, there's no written story that goes along with the FF shoots, so it doesn't really matter.

I didn't suggest cutting to shots of people watching as separate photos without the action, I suggested including onlookers in the photos with the action. I suggested compositing in photoshop as a method to do this. Beauty contest video with 2/3rds of it reaction shots of the audience, that is sad.

3 Fists For Kelly: Kerri and Kelly, a fisting video. Made overseas. No bondage. If you like fisting (I don't) I suppose it's good. Me, I fast-forwarded right through it. Zzzzzz.

Raped By Last Customers: Again made overseas. Kelly plays a shopkeeper who is attacked by a group of rowdy customers. Some brief bondage, but mostly just standard rape, fisting and humiliation. Really not as good as it sounds. I was bored by it.

Raped at Home: Kelly and Nick, in an above-average bondage rape flick, really the only good overseas offering. Kelly told me she was hypnotized before they shot this, so that she was not acting when Nick raped her. Very convincing stuff, although almost ruined by an overly loud and obnoxious musical soundtrack, which often obliterates some of the great threatening dialogue. (All the overseas tapes have this problem, but this one bothered me the most because this tape was actually GOOD.)

Repairman's Revenge: Nick and Kelly in a US remake that thankfully loses the music, and the result is another good tape. Lots of bondage, humiliation, fisting and good crying by Kelly, with a rape followed by a humiliating pissing in the face finale. Only caveat is that it was done without a cameraman, so it is basically just a set-the- camera-on-a-tripod-and-go type of flick, which makes for long stretches with no shot changes.

Junkyard Rape: Made overseas. Nick rapes Kerri. Kerri acts sarcastic and not very scared, which she tended to do sometimes in some of her lesser ZFX performances. It was bad playacting. Some bondage, but not at all convincing. This is aptly titled junk.

The Price is Right: Nick is great as a black market dealer in white slavery. The pretty but tattooed blonde "victim" severely underplays her part, and often seems more bored than scared by her predicament. Still, Nick plays his threatening role with relish, and makes this work enough to recommend it. This is one case where dialogue actually makes a tape work, plus it does have a pretty awesome facial cum shot to end it

Beyond the Arcade: The girl is pretty, the bondage is often decent, but it's all CONSENSUAL. How boring is that?

Violated Trespasser: Nick plays a landowner who attacks and imprisons the pretty blonde from "The Price is Right." Her acting hasn't improved much from the previous tape, but it is passable as she's being put though the bondage/torture/rape ring by Nick and later, Kerri. Then in the last 20 minutes, something kicks in and she suddenly begins to act scared and cry convincingly, and the finale is actually intense. Pretty decent overall.

Kept in Suspense: A 2-hour yawnfest of suspension scenes, boring because they are all once again consensual. A waste of time.

Triple Play: Only one of the three segments worked for me, a bondage rape of an attractive blonde as payment for money she owes him. Not a bad scene. I don't remember anything else in the tape as being worthwhile.

Intruder's Double Feature: Forget the phony "Tia's Rape and Torture" segment with a fake-titted blonde and instead concentrate on the excellent acting and realistic rape of a dark-haired girl in "Ripe For Rape". Very convincing, with real tears, although no bondage at all until the very end.

Raped: Again two segments, one garbage, the other very good. The best segment, entitled "Office Rape", is probably the best real rape video I own. The attacker ties her to a chair, threatens her with a knife, stuffs golf balls (!) into her pussy, fucks her while she's tied to the chair, then later rapes her again. Wonderfully nasty dialogue, but why was the pretty victim never gagged? ZFX would never make that mistake!

Re: Penelope's attire during "Viral Load": Well, she's fairly conservatively dressed (She's a scientist, after all); she starts with a skirt and blouse. She is frequently stripped of her clothing throughout the video, in true ZFX fashion, of course. During her rape scene, her top is opened up and her tits are exposed. She does wear a garter belt, but for the squeamish out there, she also wears...well, blood. Actually, it doesn't look so much like blood, more like she has a real bad aim with her lipstick! :o)

Concerning the posting that followed...That was kinda one of the reasons I had not ordered any yet....Not being familiar w/the company. Anybody out there know anything about the distributor? A few of the titles sound pretty good and would like to check out but have been hesitant for that reason.

I had an interesting idea (to me anyway) for some video content going back awile to the discussions concerning dominating someone pschologically. This may not exactly fit...I would consider it to be more of a pschological torture more than anything. I would think this would have to be a revenge type plot w/maybe the spurned ex setting the whole thing up (He would also be at the second location as we see the recognition and realization ). Maybe w/a multiple rape/tortue and then sold and shipped into a white slavery end (or for my personel darker tastes....a multiple rape to an end). What do you think? any thoughts?

As far as Dan's post, I think he has a point in that this used to be a ZFX discussion page, or at least almost exclusively ZFX anyway. I do sort of miss that. Nothing against the other topics, because they're interesting, too, but I like discussing ZFX vids and recently the talk has turned away from that and more towards other subjects. On the other hand, it seems like we have more posters now than we had before, even if the emphasis has changed more away from ZFX now. It doesn't help that Rick only puts out new tapes once a year now; it's sort of hard to keep the topic alive if the main focus is inactive 11 months out of 12...

At any rate, maybe we can get some new discussions going. For those who forgot about what a great tape "Ballista 2" was, here's another look at my review.

After nearly a year, ZFX has finally released some new tapes, and if the others are up the high standards of this sequel to "Miss Ballista", it will have been worth the wait. This video, titled "Ballista 2: Ballista Vs. The Evil Dr. Menace", plays like a live-action science fiction erotic comic book, perfectly blending horrific bondage and torture along with a fantasy sci-fi plot into one of ZFX's most satisfying efforts in a long time.

At then end of the first installment, Ballista, played by Lisa Kinkaid, had escaped from her cruel captor, Pornogra, and Trixie, the girl she had rescued the first time, had been recaptured by the evil men and taken away to be used some more. The ringleader of this evil organization is Mr. Reams (played by ZFX creator Rick Masters), who, along with former botany teacher Dr. Menace, devise a diabolical plan. As this one begins as we learn that the reason the girls had been abducted was to mate them with a plant to breed a super race of plant people to take over the world! Um...okay...I said this was science fiction, so let's just run with that. Sit back and let this one unfold, and you're in for a fun time.

It is decided that one of Dr. Menace's former students, played by striking newcomer Barbara Bayer, will be the guinea pig in this bizarre breeding experiment. In typical ZFX fashion, she is forcibly grabbed in her home, swiftly handcuffed and ballgagged, and led away. Like the specimen she is, she is wheeled into the laboratory on a cart and examined by two of the henchmen, who explain that she is about to become the mother of a whole new race of plant people. But first they have to soften her up. She is strangled with a rope until she is unconscious and awakes fully nude, standing with her hands tied up over her head. The men quickly use a pulley and hoist her off the ground, so that she is hanging by her wrists in pendant position, her feet dangling just a few inches off the ground, so that she hangs uncomfortably under the pressure of her own body weight. Her smooth skin is then marked up with red slashes as she is given a harsh suspended whipping by one of the men. What could have been a great scene is somewhat muted by Barbara's relatively quiet reaction to her treatment, but it's still a very brutal and expertly shot sequence.

Meanwhile, Trixie, played by cute redhead Bridgette Bayonne, is led into another room by the other henchman, Joseph Marx. He makes her straddle a dildo chair, forcing her down on it, essentially locking her pussy to the chair as he ties her to it. After silencing her with a ball gag, he delivers a vicious beating to the bound and helpless beauty, punching her over and over in the face and stomach. Although it's obvious in some of the shots that the blows are simulated, it's a credible illusion, and by the time he is finished, Bridgette's pretty face is covered with blood. Call me anything but PC, but I think she think she looks very appealing that way!

Marx isn't finished with her. He heats up a pot of coffee and while it is brewing, he tightens a belt around Bridgette's waist. Then he fixes Bridgette up with a special plug that fits inside her pussy. He tapes it inside so that nothing will come out, and we begin to understand what he is up to. He tapes up a funnel device to her mouth, saying this should keep her awake. He then proceeds to give her the "Juan Valdez Treatment", pouring the contents of five steaming pots of coffee into the funnel and down her throat, while the plug inside her keeps everything in! It's a deliciously inventive torture, and my favorite of several great setpieces that the tape still has to offer. "I'll bet you've really got to pee now, don't you?" Marx sadistically taunts her, as the girl is forced to guzzle down the fluid, and then is left alone to suffer for who knows how long.

Back to Barbara, and her plant-rape scene at the hands of a lecherous vine, which twists itself over her and attacks her mouth, pussy and asshole, sliding in and out of her cavities in a sexual attack. By using reverse motion and sound effects, director Masters creates a great simulated plant rape scene, something he has become adept at in such previous works as "Seed", "The Plant" and "Alien Probe 2".

To the rescue comes Lisa, bedecked in her lavender Ballista costume, but she is (predictably) captured and stripped by the men. While Barbara is left tape-gagged and teetering on one foot while tied naked to a rack, the men ballgag Lisa and suspend her by her wrists, as she spins and twists wildly in a helpless attempt to get free. She is then subjected to electric shock on her breasts, pussy and all parts of her body at the hands of a violet wand. They decide to add to her displeasure by administering a savage whipping, and Lisa's vocal cords get a workout, even while muffled by her gag. Another outstanding performance by one of ZFX's best victims, and an awesome scene to boot.

Lisa passes out, so the men decide to give more of the same treatment to Barbara, and, perhaps inspired by watching Lisa's great job, Barbara is a little more vocal this time, especially while being shocked.

More tortures await Lisa. She is penetrated by a huge buttplug, shoved painfully up her ass. Then they pick her up and slide her onto a dildo that is fastened onto a seat. With wires coming from the base of the dildo and the buttplug, it is not hard to guess what is in store for her. She is strapped to the chair and her mouth is sealed with a large sink-stopper gag, taped over and connected to another wire. Clothespins are added to her pussy lips. A large metal bowl over her head is the final touch for this "electric chair", and a turn of the switch sends current flowing to all of Lisa's sensitive areas. She writhes around a bit as she is repeatedly given large doses of electricity, until she passes out. After they leave her, she is still uncontrollably spasming even after the juice has been turned off.

Barbara, now ballgagged and spreadeagled, encased behind the springs of a bedframe, is given one final "stimulation" to induce her labor. Clothespins are applied to her pert nipples, and she is given another dose of electric shock, this time with a cattle prod. Fans who like seeing helpless girls getting shocked will think this tape is pure heaven! Barbara gives her most convincing acting job in this scene, and the segment climaxes with another great computer simulation as her belly expands and she "gives birth" to a 2-foot long cucumber-like baby plant.

The final scene brings us finally back to Bridgette, who has been suffering for most of the length of the tape, squirming helplessly in her chair, unable to urinate. Marx returns and taunts her some more, but finally removes the plug from her pussy, and she pisses onto the floor, finally able to go after several hours.

Rick really pulls out all the stops for this one. The tape resembles a ZFX's Greatest Hits compilation, nearly 2 hours long, with scene after scene of memorable setpieces, ingenious settings and tortures, and as always, beautiful squirming victims. It's one of his finest efforts yet, and even tops last year's excellent "Miss Ballista" for sheer boldness and originality. Bring on Part 3! My grade: A

I favor broader discussions in this guestbook. As moderator, Mad Dog, pointed out that this isn't an official ZFX site. Ralphus made an even better point by reminding us that it will probably be another year before we see another new ZFX release. When I first came to this site about a year or so ago, it seemed that every third post was somebody bitching and moaning about when another ZFX video would be released. I'd much rather see something like Ralphus' recent reviews of some overseas rape tapes that I knew nothing about till some recent posts.

There's a very simple solution to talking more about ZFX, somebody should start a discussion thread. I don't know everybody here, but I searched the headers from the top to see how often Dan's posted. With conversations going back to Aug 22, this is Dan's only post over the last three weeks. He'd be better off starting a conversation than chasing away the only gal that comes here regularly.

I'm not married to ZFX flicks. I like them more than most, but if somebody else is putting out similar videos or products, I'd like to know about them. While Lorelei's ForceFantasies site focuses on rape and bondage instead of torture, it's a close enough fit that I'm glad to see her opinions posted here. I think her FF site is fantastic. Now for the disscussion on subject matter. In the header of the forum it says discussion board on extreme bondage w/emphasis on ZFX. When I first started reading the forum it was almost exclusively ZFX. But that's when that was all that was happening. ZFX was releasing and there was topics for discussion. Honestly I prefered it in the early days but if nothing is happening and there are other producers who's material fits in to the criteria then I see nothing wrong with that. Lorelie posted this past weekend announcing a photo shoot and welcomed suggestions. Obviously not all is going to be used but I thought it was pretty cool to try and address some areas of interest. I even posted an idea of what I personally find interesting, not just idea's for the photo shoot but in general. The thoughts I threw out are always w/video in mind, but if it's something that is thought to be of interest for a photo shoot than great, even though they're something that I'll probably never see since stills only do so much for me. I think the only issue with ZFX is that at the end of the day Rick is a one man show, and he has two choices: He can either serve up a large volume of crap, or he can keep us waiting while he does his best to make the best product he can. Additionally, he is clearly a multi-interest guy, doing his 3D artwork, and building his animation skills, which, I feel, WILL have a serious payoff for him and us at some point in the future. All of this is before we get to him having a personal life, fighting off pirates, or dealing with distributors.

I think crappy bondage movies are like dates: Everyone has a horror story, and probably a lot more than one. I've been watching ZFX for a lot of years now, precisely because I got sick of blowing my miserly money on crappy bondage tapes. So my vote is for Rick to do what he's gotta do, and to do the best he can with what he's got. I can buy crap anywhere. I can only get ZFX from one guy.

Now, to the forum: I promise this whole note is going somewhere, guys. Because of the above, Rick doesn't release too many movies, especially in the last couple years. After a couple months, it gets sleepy here, with no new ZFX material to discuss, except our own rehashed ideas and the odd newbie popping in to ask a question. Some new blood is a good thing for that. Though I don't frequent her boards, I'm happy to see Lorelei and any other industry type pop in here and share the love, so to speak (Lorelei, I wager, has already noticed that we are not a "sit down" bunch when it comes to opinions on things.). The more of these peoples that hear what we think, the better. We are, as they say, the consuming public. I bet there's not a one of you who frequent this board who haven't dropped a major load of change on these types of materials over the years (meaning in the hundreds, at least. I am well into the thousands, myself, but I've been at it a while), simply because we can't necessarily rent these movies through conventional outlets where we live.

The better ideas the producers of this material get about what we are after, the better they will be able to tailor their product to our tastes. We get better value for our bucks, and they get more of our bucks because they give us better value. Everyone wins.

Last, Rick has posted recently that he is quite busy, and hasn't been posting frequently of late to keep us drooling over any new releases that he might be working on. Lorelei, on the other hand, has been very visible of late. Yes, she plugs her stuff, but so does Rick, so it all seems good to me. I think Rick will still have no trouble generating the buzz once things settle down a little for him.

So bring 'em on, Jazz. I promise I'll only briefly be toasting marshmallows over the likeness of you that I'm burning in effigy for losing all those posts (I -am- just kidding there, really, mmm, good marshmallow...)

Since there's a feeling that we're not talking enough about ZFX, what would you consider the biggest missed moment in a ZFX video? This would be where everything is going great and it looks like the tape is going to be on top of your favorites list and it takes a left turn and goes down a different path that left you feeling unsatisfied.

For me, it was "Guilty". Penelope Pace gets pulled into a van where she's bound and gagged in a fairly well done scene. As usual, she does a great job of conveying the horror of her situation as she's trapped in the back of the van taking her to places unknown. The scene shifts to a warehouse and Rick Masters, playing a rapist telling the tale in flashback (which I've always found contrived), forces her on a mattress on the floor and proceeds to manhandle her in a terrific energetic scene. It was one of my favorites even though I'm not into rubber dicks being stuffed in the woman's mouth. Rick's hands were all over Penelope as he's pulling and pushing her for better access to her body. Then there was a long suspension scene and I've always liked the taut look of a helpless damsel in suspension.

After that, the video degenerated to a standard torture ZFX flick. The interweaving second plotline had Lisa Kinkaid (who I usually enjoy) as a reporter interviewing Rick, in prison in the present, and was completely lame. She's masturbating to his tale until he grabs her and ties her up in a completely unrealistic scene. It ruined the video for me. The sequel wasn't particularly worthwhile either.

If you're talking about missed opportunities, how about that sequel? My only problem with it was, believe it or not, Lisa Kinkaid. Her character was a reporter who should have feared the serial killer she was interviewing, but instead she was turned on by his stories, and she openly masturbated in front of him, for practically the entire tape! Then when her big scene came at the end, it was practically consensual. At least she was bound to a table and raped in the first tape. There were no ropes this time. How can you take a beautiful girl like Lisa Kinkaid and NOT tie her up? Blasphemy!

"In Their Nature", from ZFX, is one of their attempts to film an entire show within the confines of a single home, as they did previously on the excellent "Forced Entry" a few years ago. This one centers around a father and his grown son, both a bit warped in the head, who enact their perverted desires on the son's girlfriend.

When we first see Dad, played by Joseph Marx, he is berating the son over coming home late with his new girlfriend in tow. They have the typical father-son argument, then the son (Jon O' Brien) and the girlfriend, played by redheaded Bridgette Bayonne, disappear into the bedroom to make out. O' Brien is in the process of making his move on her when she suddenly rejects his advances and tells him she's "not ready" and wants to go home. Meanwhile, Marx, spying on the couple, sees what is happening and declares to himself, "That little bitch is rotting his soul. I'm not going to let that happen!"

When the couple come back out of the bedroom, Marx apologizes to them and attempts to make things right by offering them a beer. But he's up to no good. He mixes some sort of drug into Bridgette's beer (I couldn't tell what it was, though. Too bad, that would be some useful information to know!) which causes her to convulse and spit up in a long and rather unpleasant scene. "What are you doing, Dad?" O' Brien asks.

"It's time." He replies. "It's time to honor your mother." The mother, we eventually learn, is dead and buried in the back yard. It becomes obvious that the two have "honored" Mother before, as they patiently watch Bridgette pass out on the coffee table. They carry her half-nude body into the bedroom and remove the rest of her clothes. "It's time for the cleansing" Marx declares. They carry her, still unconscious, into the bathroom.

This "cleansing" ritual apparently means that Bridgette must first be handcuffed with her hands overhead in the shower, and her mouth gagged with a sponge and wire. While O' Brien holds her in a choke hold, Marx spreads her legs and sprays her pussy and ass with a handheld shower attachment. Bridgette awakens and struggles, but the father/son team knows the procedure and holds her fast. "We've gotta clean this thing out!" Marx exclaims. The reason will become evident in the next scene.

Her private parts now clean and fresh, Bridgette is ready for the next step. She has her legs spread open wide, secured to a broomstick, and her wrists are taped to the broom as well. After gagging her with a ball gag, the men grease her up with vaseline. The gag isn't needed for long though, because Marx soon replaces it with his dick, violently forcing the bound Bridgette to suck it. Marx flips her over and offers up her ass for his son. I must say, they've taken this whole father/son bonding thing to a new level! O' Brien plunders her ass while Marx uses her mouth to pleasure himself, as both men work her over in unison. Marx explodes his cum shot into Bridgette's mouth. This being ZFX and with the U.S. laws being as they are, artificial dicks are used to make the scene work, but it's still a nice illusion.

With the double rape completed, the men decide to have some new fun with their bound plaything. The tie her over a bar stool and whip her ass with a belt, while she can only moan though the sponge/tape gag they now have on her. O' Brien holds her by her hair, and Marx wraps the belt around her neck and enters her again from behind. Both take turns whipping her. O' Brien finally knocks her out with a tightened strap around her neck. "That's my boy!" Marx proudly praises his son.

Next, Bridgette is tied spread out on the coffee table, prominently displaying the actress' new tattoo on her bikini line. (Ugh. Bad career move, Sweetie.) The men gag her with her panties and strap them in, then molest her body a bit. Perhaps tired of that activity, they move on to dribbling hot candle wax onto her skin. By the time they are finished, she has an ample amount covering her breasts and pussy area.

The next scene is a short bondage only segment, but it's sort of interesting to see Bridgette tied and rolling on the floor with each wrist knotted to each ankle, with ropes tied from her toes directly to her hair. She is gagged with blue tape.

Now it's to the kitchen for a nice chair tie, as the ballgagged Bridgette has to suffer clothespins on her tits and pussy lips, and O' Brien tightens a line around her neck. "I just had to find one of your mother's favorite tools out in the toolshed," Marx announces, entering with a pliers. Using them to squeeze and twist her left nipple, her breast is left stained with blood, marking the third time in her short career with ZFX that Bridgette has done a scene involving blood, along with "Robopimp" and the brand new "Ballista 2". O' Brien strangles her again and the men leave her alone, which enables her to squirm out of her ropes and free herself, and she escapes with relative ease. Boo! I hate a happy ending!

The humorous codas which follow the story gave me a smile, as we learn, among other things, that Bridgette turned her sufferings into a career as a model for a certain locking pliers company!

Overall, this is a decent vid, with many of the standard ZFX ingredients, but it is lacking in one essential area. The main problem I saw with it was the performance of Bridgette Bayonne, who is merely adequate when she should have been much more expressive. She has done some very good work, most notably in the aforementioned "Ballista 2", but when it is left for her to carry an entire tape, like in "Whiplash 3", it is not quite enough. Technically, all the scenes are well directed, but there is a certain flatness to the whole production, one that surely would have been improved with someone like Penelope Pace or Lisa Kinkaid (who, incidentally, has her consecutive tapes string for ZFX finally broken). So, while it is an excellent concept, and worth seeing for the rape, "In Their Nature" ends up as one of ZFX's rare misfires. My grade: C

I haven't seen the video in a while, but didn't Lisa masturbate throughout that one also? She at least got tied up in the first, but where does somebody in prison get rope? It would have made more sense for him to tear off her clothes and tie her with them. It was a dumb scene. Forget the danger of doing that with a dangerous person right next to you. Interviewing a criminal in his cell isn't exactly a secluded location. Just the risk of getting caught and having the office talk about it would be deterrence enough for most. The other goofy part about the masturbation scene is that Lisa was doing it in an oblivious fashion. She wasn't even doing it to taunt Rick's character. She's just absentmindedly masturbating in front of him as if he isn't even there. He keeps on talking without noticing it. The whole thing was absurd.

I really have come to hate the use of flashbacks to develop a plot. I cannot think of an instance offhand when I thought it was a worthwhile means of advancing a story. It's okay to relate a past event, but too many people use it as the means of telling the whole story. It's stupid because it reveals an end state of the tale (at least regarding the narrator and whoever is unlucky enough to have to listen to the story). I'd rather see a story unfold from the beginning. There's a lot more question to what the future holds for everybody in the story. The worst use of flashbacks (thankfully not done in this video) is when the narrator has to go back to his childhood to answer a simple question posed to him. There was a movie with Anthony LaPaglia as a lottery winner that did this and I was amazed at the number of critics that liked it. Unless I ask somebody about their childhood, I don't need them to go back that far in their history to let me know about something that's current.

Yup, RR, you make a good point about how someone in prison could get rope. So I went back and watched the scene where Rick ties up Lisa. He pulls the rope out of his jacket. It was smuggled in from the "woodshop", I believe he says. Now I'm not sure why serial killers locked up in prison would have access to any woodshop; in fact you would expect someone like that to be locked up in solitary with no privileges whatsoever. But I'm willing to cut Rick a break on this one. The important thing is that he somehow came up with the rope and managed to tie up and rape Lisa. The ends justified the means this time. Bondage rape is why I watch ZFX vids in the first place, so I'm glad he worked it into the story, even if it strains credibility a bit.

As far as Lisa masturbating, she was doing it under the table, where Rick couldn't see her. In the sequel, he came right out and stripped for him, and openly rubbed herself for most of the tape. Sorry, that was going too far for me to buy. And your original contention that the setting was ludicrous only made it more unbelievable. I'm not a fan of the victim masturbating anyway, because it implies that she somehow wants the treatment she's about to get. Having her be scared, and nervous about being alone in a room with this guy, would have made the scene work better, IMO.

However, in this case, I think the use of flashbacks worked. She was asking him about his story, what he did to the girls to land him in prison. So he was telling her what happened. I suppose we could have seen the Penelope footage in chronological order and worked our way up the Lisa interview scene, but I don't think it would improved anything about the story. It's just another narrative device, and I liked how the story unfolded. In fact, I liked hearing Rick's descriptions of what he did to her. Sometimes sharply written narration can enhance the drama of a scene, and we wouldn't have heard those words if he weren't recalling them for Lisa.

I enjoyed Guilty. I felt as Ralphus did, that the narrative added to the effect of the movie. And if Lisa wasn't so distracted she may have noticed him using her pin. As interviewing serial killers go, if you are a stickler for realism, it would be the same as in Silence of the Lambs. But for any movie you must suspend your disbelief a little, and the situation worked.

As for Guilty 2 I will have to also give a thumbs down to the prison part of the movie. I can understand the primus of psychological domination of Lisa's character by the killer. But it was poorly developed. It looked as if she had no control as she entered the room. I felt that if mental domination was the goal Lisa should have shown a little more resistance at the beginning.

On a different note I hope nay sayers have not discouraged Lorelei from posting. I agree that this is an open discussion of extreme bondage films. And as long as the discussion fits that topic the poster should feel welcome. If your still reading Lorelei, keep us informed.

I guess my only complaint was the length of the flashbacks. I would have either liked to see them longer or shorter. If you are going to refer to what happened before then make them shorter. If you are going to tell a story, then make them longer. Oh well thats enough from me for now. I really need to get back to school work. BTW look for the archive sometime in early October. Next week I am done with my quarter so I will be working on them.

"South of the Border 4: Atrocities" continues this very successful series from ZFX with one of the most intense chapters yet. In Part 3, American lawyer Lisa Kinkaid had come to Mexico in an attempt to free her 3 young beautiful clients, who had all been imprisoned on drug charges and tortured. Lisa herself was framed with cocaine planted in her briefcase, was similarly bound and tortured but had escaped at the end. Now as Part 4 begins, she is about to pay for her escape.

Captured by guards outside of the prison, Lisa is brought inside, where she is bound with her hands high over her head, has her mouth stuffed with a thick, black ball gag and stripped of her clothing. She is then given a brutal and harsh whipping with a rubber hose at the hands of Joseph Marx, the man she escaped from the first time. Marx, quickly becoming ZFX's best villain, handles his role with a menacing glee, and Lisa's suffering is conveyed with a nice intensity. "This is a just a warm-up" glowers Marx, as Lisa passes out.

Indeed it is. A barely conscious Lisa is now tied, Joan of Arc style, to an upright post. But Marx has something else in mind than burning her. Something more modern. Using a stun gun, he repeatedly jolts her with electricity to all parts of her naked body. Obviously enjoying his work, Marx declares, "This should be the national pastime. Fuck baseball!" To increase her pain, he adds clothespins to her nipples and pussy lips and goes to work on her again. Although as always when ZFX attempts this sort of scene, the stun gun is actually off when it touches her body, but Lisa's convincing acting makes us think otherwise. The scene climaxes, so to speak, when Marx gives her an extra long dose of electricity to her pussy and she urinates uncontrollably, gushing out onto the floor. Wow! What an awesome scene!

Back in another part of the jail, dark-haired lovely Kelly McKay is suffering more electrical shock, this time with battery cables administered by veteran ZFX villain Travis Lee. Tied in an uncomfortable position by balancing on one foot, and gagged with a white cleave, Kelly writhes in torment as Lee applies shocks to her breasts and pussy in another highly charged scene (Okay, that was a pun, but it works!). Shocked into near-unconsciousness, Kelly's weakened form hangs limply from her bonds.

Later, Kelly is visited by another member of the jail, played by ZFX creator Rick Masters himself. Masters makes very infrequent appearances in his own tapes nowadays, but he proves he's as good as anyone at dishing out the abuse as he viciously berates Kelly with whippings and penetration. He removes her gag and further humiliates her by making her lick his boots.

More good stuff is to come. Lisa's suffering is about to continue. She is now tied to the whipping post, with her legs spread and her wrists tied above, facing the post this time. Masters joins Marx in interrogating the prisoner, this time delivering several nasty cracks of a bullwhip to her back and ass, in an extremely harsh and well-directed segment. Afterward, the red slash marks adorn Lisa's backside, and the scene is punctuated with some wonderful nasty dialogue to boot. Great stuff.

The other two prison victims, played by sexy brunette Kimberly Noble and buxom blonde Christina Anderson, are now given a good working-over by jailers Lee and Mad Dog. Ballgagged and tied side by side, Christina is tied standing with her arms above while Kimberly hangs upside- down. The girls are fondled and molested, and treated to clothespins on their nipples. Lots of nice squealing and muffled screams.

Then Christina, tied alone this time, is spreadeagled against the prison wall, and two men go at her with another violent whipping scene, severely whipping her ass, back and tits. It's a short, but in true ZFX fashion, exciting scene.

Next up, Lisa is subjected to one more torture, this one a unique upside-down dunking, as Marx and another man hang her by her ankles and slowly lower her head into a washtub filled with water. They raise her back up, and Lisa is coughing and sputtering. As if that weren't bad enough, Marx intensifies her torture by using the stun gun on her again. Over and over Lisa is dunked and shocked, until her body can take no more and she is finally lowered to the ground, her unconscious body now placed in the washtub and left there.

What would a ZFX video be without rape? Well, Christina is the victim here, forced to suck off Lee while taken from behind by another guard. Tied standing, with her arms behind her, she is noisily banged by one man, then he yields to Mad Dog, who takes up where the other left off, pounding away at her ass. The teasers for Part 5 promise more exciting bondage tortures for the girls, but we will have to wait til next year for that. I'm not sure I can!

This series, which began a few years ago with Penelope Pace and Monica Moore in the first two chapters, has only gotten better. Part 3 had some great moments, but this installment is the best of them all. It starts out intense and never lets up, with at least five excellent scenes and no slack ones at all. Lisa Kinkaid has never looked more beautiful, and all her scenes are standouts. Christina runs a close second, and Joe Marx particularly is a devilishly good villain. Add great camerawork and direction by Masters and you have a must-see winner. My grade: A

Re the reporter's desire to interview the actresses...and the news from Rick that Lisa Kincaid isn't into BDSM in real life...

Come on, what should we expect? "Viral Load" is the latest work by ZFX creator Rick Masters to attempt to combine science fiction themes with the type of bondage torture that the company is known for. As the story unfolds, we learn that a female laboratory technician (Penelope Pace) is carrying a suitcase that contains a biological weaponry virus, a virus that terrorists want to get their hands on. Therefore, Penelope must be captured and tortured until she gives up the virus and decodes it for them. Any questions so far?

Penelope is apprehended at gunpoint by a thug waiting inside her car as she gets in (That'll teach her to lock her doors next time!) and forced to drive to the terrorist's lair. She is brought in blindfolded, ballgagged and handcuffed to meet the kingpin (Masters) and his fellow terrorists, played by Joseph Marx and Lisa Kinkaid. She isn't giving away any information, so it looks like torture is the only way to make her talk. Good, that's what I was hoping for! :o)

First, Penelope is choked into unconsciousness, and Marx and Lisa peel away her clothes. The big-breasted redhead awakens just in time to find herself tied to an "electric" chair, a seat covered with a wire frame that Marx uses to attach jumper cables. Her legs have been tied spread open and clothespins are clamped to her sensitive pussy lips and tied to the seat as well. Before she can protest, a wad of cloth is stuffed into her mouth and strapped in. Marx then proceeds to shock Penelope with his shock box, while Lisa accompanies him by zapping her with a stun gun. Marx and Lisa carry on as if they thoroughly enjoy inflicting such pain upon Penelope, and Ms. Pace's convincing writhing make this scene stand out. Penelope passes out, which gives the duo a chance to inflict more drastic punishments.

While Lisa holds her tight, Marx savagely beats Penelope about the face and body with a rubber hose. Although I personally would have preferred to see her tied up while enduring this beating, it is a typically brutal and gory illusion, leaving her mouth a bloody pulp.

Marx then secures her to a table, flat on her back with her hands cuffed over her head, while Lisa wields a strap-on and proceeds to give their victim a thorough plundering of her asshole. (Revenge, perhaps, for the anal rape Lisa endured at Penelope's hands in "Miss Ballista"?) Marx adds to her ordeal by choking her with a belt as she's being raped. Finally, at the point of nearly passing out, she decides to finally give in and unlock the suitcase, but she still won't synthesize the virus for them. Not a smart move.

In an attempt to break her, she is kept in bondage, ballgagged and chained with her arms tied above her, with her legs spread and one leg hoisted high off the ground, so she is forced to teeter uncomfortably on the other leg. Marx comes by and delivers several nasty blows of the whip to her exposed body, finally quitting only after she hangs limply in her bonds. This is followed by another harsh position where she is suspended in horizontal fashion out across the sides of the room, again forced to stand on only one leg. Marx comes by and makes it even worse (or better for the viewer!) by hoisting the remaining leg off the ground as well, leaving her hanging only her wrists and ankles.

Next, Penelope is gagged with a ballgag trainer this time, and is treated to a third position, this time standing, but with her arms tied off behind her and cruelly raised high above her, again having to endure blows from Marx's whip. At last, she agrees to end her torture and go to work on synthesizing the virus for the terrorists.

Now at work in a makeshift lab, and exhausted from lack of sleep and the aftereffects of her torture, Penelope accidentally spills a sample of the virus on the floor. This is where the science fiction aspect of the story kicks in. The virus quickly sprouts tentacles which come to life, wrapping around Penelope's body and inserting themselves into her orifices, courtesy of reverse-motion photography tricks. It's a neat trick, but we've seen it before in countless other ZFX productions, always as a horny plant bent on sexual conquest. At any rate, it leaves Penelope covered in a copious layer of slimy goo, and now, possessed by the glow of her botanic encounter, she apprehends Lisa. She watches with glee as the plant has its way with Lisa as well, darting in and out of her pussy. Fans of Japanese anime will admire Masters' homage to their art.

To me, the tape was a bit of a contrast, as I liked the first 35 minutes or so that concentrates on realistic ZFX- type torture, then the conclusion changes directions completely and lapses into fantasy. Depending on what side of the reality/fantasy camp you fall into, this tape offers small helpings of both, although realism fans like me have a little bigger bite. The always-convincing Penelope Pace demonstrates why she is one of ZFX's top performers, and there is a certain joy in performance by Joseph Marx, who excels as the villain. While neither as long nor as successful as the similarly-themed "Ballista 2", there is enough to offer here to recommend "Viral Load". My grade: B-

That tie-up face-to face is kind of neat. I like the idea of the one teasing the victim, and the face-mask, too. A good way to do it might be something along the lines of what Rick has done before. He had bound girls going at it (thanks to his "love potion") in Doc bondage. He also had the "Converted" slave in the War Pigs series, where the former victim became a tormenter. If there was more than one "bad guy," and one of them was hot to do this, the other villain(villein) could do the honors of roping them together. It might be even better if that second gal (I'm seeing this as a girl show for some reason) helped with the sexual stimulation, to the wide-eyed horror of the main victim. Hey, I like this idea!

Alex, I'd love to see more outdoor stuff from ZFX (outdoors...always my favorite). If you're inclined to maybe offer the same to Rick. Possibly Rick has the same problems w/outdoor filming (although if you go out and scout, locations can be found). I can't speak for Rick of course, and maybe he just dosen't want to film outdoors, but I think it would add so much to the type of story lines he produces....so many possiblities. Tree bound, barn bound, spread eagle on the ground tied to stakes, the case through the woods, horny Texas chainsaw freeks, etc., etc.

Hopefully Fred will clue us in when his article gets published. He should have enough from the people he’s already talked to for a nice story. If it’s in the tone he represented, it will be easier getting others to commit to an interview in the future. I want to believe everything that he's said, but part of me doesn't want to be that trusting. I feel guilty not wanting to trust him more, but life has a way of taking the trust out of us.

I wonder if we're ready for publicity. Would even a favorable article bring unwanted attention to the material we like? Right now, bondage sites are available on the net if somebody wants to take the time to find them, but they're not as visible as a lot of the mainstream porn sites. Would a higher profile only irritate censors into pulling out their pitchforks and torches and send them marching as an angry mob to destroy the bondage monster before it corrupts their children? Censors have been kind of quiet ever since the Supreme Court knocked down the last attempt by the Clinton administration to institute tough anti-porn laws on the net. I'm not sure if things have moved to a point where there is enough of a ground swell interest in porn on the net that it's become political suicide to try to stamp it out.

If censors want to attack the porn industry, they might want to go after the areas that are safer to attack, such as videos and sites that cater to bondage and rape fantasies because they’re smaller and represent a more extreme branch of the adult business. The best bondage sites tend to be small ones run by either one person or a small group of individuals. ZFX is obviously a one-man show. They don't have deep pockets to legally fend off a concerted attack by censors compared to the large mainstream adult video companies that are raking in millions of dollars every month. Maybe the big companies will help with the legal bills if they sense that it's just the tip of the iceberg being targeted. Maybe they'll just shrug their shoulders and sit back not caring much that the censors are going after material that they don't produce.

It might be best to stay under the general public's radar. Censors are at their worst when porn is highly visible. Most of them recognize that they can't stamp it out, but they get a feeling of accomplishment when they at least drive it underground.

RR, I have had the same thoughts. People who like ZFX will find their way here, and I see no benefit from mainstream media exposure. Such exposure may just excite the "thought police".

ZFX's "666: Mark of the Beast" is the continuation of the story that began last year with the original "666". In that one, we saw two cute girls abducted to be put to the test for their ultimate mission, to spawn the child of Satan and destroy mankind. Apparently, to prepare them for this mission, they must be ritualistically tortured beforehand. Hey, works for me!

As part 2 opens, we find that busty blonde Christina Anderson is the favorite choice for Satanic impregnation; after all, she has wide, child-baring hips and had survived copulation with another demon at the conclusion of the first tape. She is dragged into a dungeon, wearing a sexy black corset, with a pentagram painted on her chest. After ballgagging her and chaining the squirming girl with her hands over her head, she is suspended from the ceiling with one leg hoisted off the ground. Eventually both legs are strung up, and Christina moans and wails as she is slapped, fondled and generally abused in her suspended torment.

Next up is attractive, dark-haired Kimberly Noble, suffering an even worse fate. Nude, with her mouth fully stuffed and gagged, she is hung up off the ground by her wrists, her legs kicking at empty air. A hooded figure then administers a sharp whipping as her body spins helplessly. She is also forced to hang by her wrists and ankles as the whipping continues, then has her body roughly manhandled by her captor. Neither of these first two scenes have any dialogue at all, just the sweet music of the girls' muffled screams to carry the action along.

Kimberly is then wheeled in on a cart, tied standing with her hands behind her and ankles bound as well. She is tightly ballgagged and looks incredibly sexy as she is paraded along like an object for the others to see. The gag is then removed so that we can hear Kimberly scream as she is given an ample amount of candle wax on her tits, pussy, and, perhaps taking inspiration from countless Japanese bondage films, in her open mouth as well! It's a hot scene, punctuated by some nasty talk and Kimberly's pleading, and the actress really earns her pay for this one. She is regagged and eventually passes out, and is wheeled back unconscious, her body now covered with melted wax.

Her tortures aren't over, not by a long shot. When we see her next, she is bound in an uncomfortable position on a wooden platform, lying on her back, with her wrists spread out wide to the sides of the platform and tied there. She is bent over and her ankles are knotted to the platform as well, leaving her completely spread out and open, with her gaping pussy and ass now straight up. She is, of course, gagged, this time with yellow tape. It's a good thing, because she does lots of screaming as her captor torments her by dripping wax from three candles onto her bare pussy and asshole. Yowch! He then puts one lit candle INSIDE her poor ass, and makes it stay in there by adding more wax around the outside, forming a nice seal. Kimberly makes some great noises as the burning candle drips onto her skin, and I must say, she makes a very appealing candlestick holder.

Meanwhile, Christina is undergoing her own anguish. She has been tied to a ladder, bound face-down, with clothespins adorning both her nipples and pussy lips. She cries into her ball gag as she is slapped and spanked on the ass. It's a short scene that leads us to an even shorter but very cool little segment, done with computer animated figures, that shows both girls being raped by demons.

Back to live action, we find that neither girl survived the ordeal, and now time is running out for the appointed task to be completed. No problem, the head of the Satanic cult still has his pet slave, played by the ubiquitous Lisa Kinkaid. She can be the receptacle for the Demon Lord, and give birth to the Anti-Christ. "No! I don't WANT to be the receptacle!" she protests, but she's led away to be prepared.

Lisa is bound to a large cross, gagged with a knotted rope through her mouth, and has her arms roped together high over her head. She is very sexy indeed. The cross is then laid on the ground and Lisa is then tied to it crucifixion- style, with arms off to the side, feet together at the base. The cross is surrounded by a circle of candles, completing the traditional Satanic sacrifice image. She is then forced to endure several harsh blows of the whip, but that's not all. Her cruel captor further tortures her by burning her skin with hot candle wax, leaving a nice array of wax droplets all over her naked body. Does anyone cry out in pain better than the lovely Lisa? I don't think so! :o)

The final scene is an impressive mix of live action and special effects, as Lisa is anally penetrated by the huge black monster dick of the Demon Master himself, who growls like a lion and tells her he will pump her full of his demon seed! For some reason, Lisa isn't tied at all during her anal plundering, but no matter. It's a very entertaining scene, and hard to watch without a big smile, because it's so over-the-top.

Like the original, this installment is torture-heavy, with excellent performances by all three female leads. Fans of hot wax torture especially should enjoy this one, and this is one time where the special effects ZFX often uses are beneficial to the story and add to the Gothic atmosphere. It's a nice piece of work. My grade: B

Really, just look at us. There's a lot of smart, imaginative people reading and (some of them, anyway) posting to this board. But how many of you feel safe mentioning your enjoyment of this type of thing to your partners? The one time it really came up here I remember lots of people trying to "sneak" it into conversation, or just not mentioning it at all. Good stuff, and sort of a rarity for ZFX anymore. Courtney Bishop has a real good electric shock scene in this one, too.

Here's one for the group. Anyone familiar with Insex that has seen these two videotapes they offer? The link for them is above; it's Slave Labor Productions that is offering them and the titles are "The Taming of paige" and "The Weekend". I notice the stills look quite appealing and I am familiar with what Insex puts out based on some mpegs I have seen from their site. Some of the clips I have from them are very hot; there was one that had two very attractive naked girls tied outdoors to wooden posts and burned with the smoking hot end of a burning stick!
