In this crime TV series starring Kevin Bacon, a lady attorney (played by Anna Wood) is pursued by the killer and finds herself duct taped to a chair. There’s some nice suspense as he threatens to burn her with a steam iron, firing the steam toward her face, but ultimately there’s no payoff as the scene cuts away before the actual burning. When we see her next, the entire left side of her face has been badly burned and she’s already dead, strangled with a cord.
