This largely forgotten documentary TV series explored unnatural phenomena, such as UFOs, serial killers, dream interpretations, etc. This episode was about a woman having flashbacks to being tortured as a witch. She’s brought out in a cart and put in a cage with a number of other people. When she sees others being tortured, she starts berating the torturers, which singles her out to be tortured herself (smart move, honey). She’s then tied with her arms above to a giant wheel and the executioner burns her with a glowing red hot poker. Simulated only but a very nice scene. I never would have taped this except I saw a small snippet of a scene on Entertainment Tonight showing her tied to a wheel and threatened with the hot iron. That definitely got my attention! A pretty rare scene…I don’t know of anybody else who has this one.
