From around '89-'94 I was doing work under Takashi Naka for B&D Pleasures. I'm not sure how much I did for them, all told... not a huge number, but not insubstantial.

I have 20 of those in my archive, but I don't know if I have them all or not. I actually purchased a set of them from old B&D Pleasures around 1990 or so, and it was among the best art I had seen up to that time. Early in my working life I was a pencil and paper daftsman, and right away I noticed the precision in those drawings, They're still impressive today imo.

This one turned out to be a "preview of coming cruelties", I think. 8-)

HA! Takes one to know one. I too was a draftsman early in my career... which is probably why the clear, quality line on your work stood out for me! Kinky draftsman lovefest ;) I really do forget how much stuff I'd done for B&D Pleasures. The bulk was in the portfolios, but I think I did some stuff for the mags, too. I've got it all tucked away somewhere... where I haven't looked at it in decades.

So, preview of cruelties you "think" or "hope"? :D

Some other artists and AI creators used some of them (with my enthusiastic permission) to make AI images. I only asked that my name be left on them along with theirs too. On the one you saw wasn't signed by the AI artist, hence the confusion.

This is my original drawing.

At least 3 people used Wulf's drawing as a starting point for an AI image. So it must be good :D

This was my attempt.

Arcas wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2026 5:55 pm Hey all... long time no post! I'm not making any bold proclamations that I'm out of retirement or anything (I'm not), but it seems like every January (for reasons I can't fathom) I take out the tools and play a bit. Maybe it's just to make sure I still can make stuff? Whatever the case, this year I got in my head to do a lil' series of renders. We'll see how far it actually goes - no promises.

So the idea is this (because it's almost as much fun to come up with a rationale as it is to make the pics - at least for me). The time is 2006, shortly after Insex pulled its plug. The place is the dark web. With no Insex work, model Anne-Marie (aka 912) finds herself adrift. As we all know she hasn't been seen (much if at all) since Insex's closing. This story posits a "why".

Anne-Marie gets an offer to "go out in style" by a group on the dark web who've modeled their output and style on Cronenburg's "Videodrome" broadcast. If you've seen the movie (and I'm sure 99.9% of you have) you know what the offer entails. My series will attempt to chronicle the 912 webcast, which took place over a progressively more grueling three days. Again... I'm not sure how far I'll get, but a good response with lotsa chatter certainly can't hurt the odds of me adding a few more images. And while I can't guarantee anything, if you have ideas, pitch away! I'm thinking things like our ole pal Ousuk would have written... (mwah-haa-haa).

My first three pics really tease (so forgive me posting this in the "tortured women" thread... we'll get there!). All use my trusty 912 model in DAZ Studio, with recent souped-up tweaks. So here's the first one... Anne-Marie lounging around set for promos, teasing what's to come. Hopefully I'll post something new every few days. Sorry it won't be a barrage as with a lot of A.I. output. I'm old school and this stuff just takes time, at least if you wanna cross all the T's and dot the I's.
I absolutely love this idea Arcas. Ann-Marie is undoubtedly my all-time favourite sub and your render of her is beautiful. Presumably you created her in Daz yourself using a photo of her face to achieve the likeness? I ask because I'd love to try and create her myself and have her be a star of a future render series of my own.

I was just reminded of some of the later work you did, such as the Blakemore Files.
And I always hope for new cruelties. 8-)

As for the old style drafting, I really enjoyed it for the most part and I missed it later in life when doing a different type of work. It was the late 80's and cad and Windows were starting to appear, but my job went away with factory closings, so I never got into cad much. Anyway, always nice to meet another T-Square and triangle guy. :)

Yeah, I built her on the Victoria 4 model. I wish I had some magic bullets to recommend on getting the likeness right, but it's all grueling trial and error, with photo reference assist. I think there are a couple of things I could do to get the likeness even better, like work the eyebrows more, but I'm feeling it's "good enough" - at least at the moment. Good luck if you try your own, I'd love to see the results! She's certainly a popular "celeb" in our genre crowd ;)

Hey man, I've been meaning to give you a shout out on your stuff! Impressive (and with mostly Arcas-approved physiques!)! It's among the best AI still work I've seen for our genre. Have you ever tried using one of my images as visual prompt?
