My .02 is that it's just an unfortunate AI glitch.
I've seen quite a few AI images with the baddies expressing themselves this way. Maybe there's a different prompt where the bad guys expression wouldn't be quite so severe?
Evil expression? Evil smile? Evil grin?
Satisfied smile/expression/grin?
