Respectfully, I suggest the streaming site you once talked about might help with this problem. It would be a great way to provide another revenue stream for new films and to support this website, especially if you show other films as well as your own. Mood Pictures has a streaming site. It must be doing well because why else would they keep it running for a long time?

How to determine what's "original content" or not, the site owner/moderator has to manually review each and every post to decide if the attachment(s) must be deleted or not. Practically impossible.

This is a recurrent issue and storage space being not infinitely expandable it will show his ugly head again every years or more.
And since the site owner's available funds for upgrading plans is not infinitely expandable either there's is only ONE way to deal with this issue: DELETING to free memory space. The easiest and less harmful way would be to delete indiscriminately ALL attachments older than xxx months or xx years. This could be done automatically and I don't think it would hurt any posting members here, many years old threads are all dormants and never consulted anyway.
But blocking or drastically limiting new attachments will most certainly hurt and severely restrain the site "dynamics": you can see that since attachments have been blocked 10 days ago the site became almost "static", I wouldn't say "dead", but close to...
Remember: reducing/limiting the attachments will never solve the issue, only delaying it further, DELETING is the only solution.
Let's see what the site owner will come with, then we'll gladly comply with the new rules.

With the increasing spreading and realism of A.I generated pictures this become a real isssue and I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed (or regulated) so far (not only here, but other sites too). There's another well-know website devoted to "Digital Art" which are very prompt to delete (and/or close your account) if they detect the smallest visible part of (real) human reproductive organ, but on the same site you may find thousands of A.I pics of obviously under-aged girls often depicted in borderline obscene situations, sometimes undistinguishable from the "real", and these seems perfectly OK to them. I will be much more careful myself in the future since a seemingly "legit" pic found on another site doesn't mean it could/should be posted here.
No need to say, I can't agree more with your decision about this aspect of our "hobby"...

1. Looks to me that it is more of a problem of excessive bot presence than legitimate user presence. Probably adding some level of bot defenses will be in order. From CloudFlare to Capcha for accessing the site will go a long way. A minor inconvenience for users but if they like Ralphus board to remain around for another 25 years they will go along.

2. Fully agree on quasi AI pedo. Since most of it comes from a small amount of creators, shouldn't be hard to rein in the problem.
