I like this picture very much. It shows how the interrogators/torturers get close to the victim. And intimidate the victim just by the closeness of the person. Seen from the outside, it almost has something intimate. From the victim's point of view, it's devastating. She will not be able to forget this situation for the rest of her life. This is an excellent image.

When I saw Videodrome I was completely carried away by Debbie Harry's character in the film. It was, however, another of those "could have been moments." She vanishes to join the torture and mayhem, but that is never seen. I had completely forgotten this gruesome tribute to her.

Here are some pics I found of an elderly woman being subjected to ling-chi. Of course, there is a minus in cruel eroticism. Reality can let us down. The same with the Inquisition, most of the women tortured were old and not beauties any more.
