Hi, Ed here. Having nothing better to do, some history. Melissa was the first story I wrote and sent off, in this case the then BDSMArtwork. They said there was no ending, so would I add one? Why not? I only sent it because I sucked at art and had hopes of some prose inspired visual contributions, i.e. free illustrations. At the very least, I hoped for a discounted subscription. One pen and ink artist named stig did a couple and a guy named Arcimboldo did a few of his unique manipulations. All BDSMArtwork did was claim copyright. There are versions of it floating around in the damndest places even now.

Years later I rewrote it for GIMP after getting a reality check on my previous 70's paperback porn style writing. Melissa was the first I tried to remake into something better written. I hope I've gotten better over time.

That said, I have the entire thing - there was a follow-up scene, a more intimate one with Melissa, Blore Jr, and slut Bette playing in privacy as LLL said and while I rewrote it, I didn't include it with the GIMP relaunch. Fact is, it was still following the lurid pulp porn writing style heavy on the sex and it still shows. However, at this point in my life, I just don't care. If there's an interest, I still use the old crueltiercel at gmail dot com address I've maintained for these things. I can attach it as a doc file back. I only have it as document with some incomplete HTML formatting still there, but it's readable and I'm not going to futz with it anymore. Feel free to ask. Melissa is 24 years old, older than its namesake during the action.

Some background here. I took an interest in Stable Diffusion after the latest model (Flux) was released in august last year, because of the high quality of the images it generates. I wanted to see if I could manipulate these AI models into generating illustrations for specific scenes from stories I liked, as a challenge (the AI obviously doesn't know the story, so it can't just generate specific scenes). I picked your story as a try-out, because that story particularly spoke to me when I first encountered it. To my knowledge you were the first author to pick the breasts of the hapless subject as the main focus of attention (with honorable mentions going to Williej and Darkroom, who published after Melissa). I'll keep illustrating and sharing results as I further develop my workflow. The latest image I generated is in the theme of (some of) your stories. I've shared it in the other thread. Hope you like it.

Hi Ed, I understand you are not interested in editing and extending Melissa any further, especially not along the lines of someone else's interpretation, but...

I just want to toss this idea I have been spinning around for some time. I would have really liked a "Melissa II" where instead of the short hot iron torture things move on from where you originally left it, maybe with a description of how she gets raped that night, but then with things evolving quite differently. In your original story the two tormentors, Kyle and Bette, where somewhat limited in what they could do to Melissa (for example, they could not remove her panties while riding the horse). Those limitations made the story more interesting, while they were gone in the brief sequel. So, say Kyle wants more, but understands he cannot do whatever he wants with a white girl. He thus choses a black girl to torment publicly going beyonf the previous limitations, as she is, indeed, black. However, her torture leads to a revolt. Kyle is killed, while Bette is captured alive. The black slaves, in a role reversal, invite Melissa to partecipate in the torture of Bette. Melissa is reluctant at first, but then starts to enjoy it. Bette is subjected to the same things Melissa went through, after which she is further tortured in a more traditional african way. Staked out under the sun and/or over an anthill and so.

Sorry for bothering you, it's not a request clearly, but if you ever were to write about Melissa again this is a follow up I would really like to read.

Greetings, folks. I'm frankly flattered at the interest in Melissa. To add where I can, the initially crossed wrists were indeed a foreshadowing of the primary action, the breast whipping, as xs70 surmised. I wanted to introduce her to the lash on her back first before the psychological horror of being turned around on the post. The sole-to-sole binding was not as well thought out. I just wanted her new binding to forcibly arch her back to present her tits and enhance the athletic belly musculature and high relief ribcage I so love. Ihe sole positioning was spur of the moment. I went back to that idea with Lady Diane, going ankle to ankle and just making the post wider. I surely can't claim any patent on focused breast whipping, certainly not adding Willie to the mix. The only thing I may have influenced there was turning the girl around for the real horror, whipping her breasts as an unexpected second part to her torture.

The horse was overkill, but I thought that was the standard back then. The barn scene was even worse as I was only going to strip her to the waist, but it was required. The version xs70 has linked is the entire thing with the next day barn scene. I didn't include it when I posted to GIMP out of embarrassment.

xs70 is doing an excellent job with Melissa. Please don't worry about the feet. With me, it's all about the breasts, everything else is just a side dish.

FWIW, I didn't notice anything wrong with the barn scene when I read it. It's concise and gets the action across. The Lady Montcalm has her breasts beaten across the span of 10.500 words, whereas Melissa has her back and front whipped, her nipples burned with matches, her burnt nipples whipped, her sex punished on the wooden horse, her body, sex and tits burned with hot irons, and her nipples crushed with pliers and sliced with a red hot knife while being raped in 11.700 words. For me, Melissa wins hands down.
