I know we have several members here who are super active in ordering customs, especially from Cruel World. I totally understand how exciting it must be to see the results when a custom comes back, and the desire to share with the rest of the forum.
That said, I find myself frustrated when I find the same (or very similar) images plastered across many different topics. Wouldn't it be better to create a new topic for the video and post a selection of images there?
What do others think about this?
Cross-posting request
Re: Cross-posting request
There is actually a section devoted to that... Producers Corner. That might help cut down on repetition.
Slave Rule #1- No matter how bad the pain is, it can always get worse
Re: Cross-posting request
If the custom includes whipping, burning, electro, pliers torture, stripping, etc.--as many do--it seems appropriate to place images from that section of the video in the appropriate topics. If all we are trying to do is to generate sales for CW or some other custom provider, then I suppose a thread like the one currently being produced on an old Quoom story makes sense.
Re: Cross-posting request
It doesn't really bother me but we should avoid repetition, repetition,repetition,rep...
If in the same scene/pic the GIMP is tied with her hands above head, gagged, electrocuted and has clamps on her tits and whip marks the same pic can be posted in 5 different threads and within a few months Reine Margot will be back warning us we have reached the limits of storage space. Thus the O.P's suggestion makes some sense.

Re: Cross-posting request
This site evolved from a mere image and message exchange forum to a much more diverse website and yet it's still free of charge for us although it does cost money to run and maintain it. As I understand it, these costs are entirely covered by the revenue generated by the videos that Reine Margot is promoting, patreon membership and occasional donations.
The site also offers the possibility for producers of custom videos to promote their productions for free by posting screenshots and/or pictures.
The same holds for producers of artwork that is offered for sale through websites, patreon etc...
The producers corner was probably intended for this purpose but if you look at it you'll see there are hardly any visitors there. Posting in the 2 main forums (i.e. Open Discussions & Art Contributions) is more effective.
Although I am also sometimes a bit irritated by the similar images in various threads, I do understand the purpose for these multiple posts as explained by Petelobo.

Re: Cross-posting request
The posts are fine by me.
The activity by producers keeps the site going, I think. A bunch of stills or screen shots and some text are fun to review, and the dups are only a minor annoyance. It doesn't really matter if a member or a producer does the post. And besides, one can simply ignore whatever is uninteresting.
The market for this material is thin, and producers need support. Users must this in mind. Without producers, we are down to uploading pics from skin mag sites and describing our imagined workover of the ladies.
The producer posts don't have fancy graphics to grab attention, and they have essentially no pricing information. So let's enjoy em.

Re: Cross-posting request
I suppose I may be one of the targets of this concern. Here and on cruxforums I do post images from Cruel Videos I have scripted or some I have only purchased. I have tried (on CF) to post (as they require) in the area related to "Paysites", since they block me if I even mention how to find the videos in other topic areas. Of course I'm not Alex, and I get nothing out of sales of his videos (that's the only way HE gets paid--I pay the actresses). But they are very rigid about that. And there, as here, the paysites/producers forums--as mentioned previously--get very little traffic.
Here,as there, I make an effort to avoid reposting and keeping the image size down below 400k, but since I assiduously cap all my videos, there may be 5-10 different angles or different responses to the same whip stroke or burst of electricity. I do track back through prior posts, and on Gimp it's not unusual to have thousands of views over several months, so I assume that a significant number of our mates here are finding the images stimulating. I recognize that my tastes may be out on the edge of what many others here find of interest. Some don't like marking or strong reactions to pain or even any kind of torture beyond bondage (or even just partial nudity), and I don't often get comments except from a few of us, but I definitely have the sense that there is enough of the "thin" end of the market that appreciates them.
My goal is twofold: One is to provide material that isn't as easy to find for those who enjoy it. The other is to motivate some who like the actresses and images to splurge $15-20 to buy the video and keep Alex going.

Yes indeed the mates enjoy the posts of material not easy to find.petelobo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 4:10 am I suppose I may be one of the targets of this concern.
