(sexually) "deviant" is a (very) broad term and actually I don't like it very much. Anything and nothing could be considered as "deviant". Maybe I should have used the term "perverted behaviour" (rather than deviant) to describe the girls sapphic relations but I don't think it would have been much better.
Girdles are a good exemple: I'm a big girdles/foundations/corsets fetichist because I always considered these restricive under garnments as some kind of (very light) torture devices, self-inflicted pain (or uncomfort) deliberately used by women to please men (and sometimes themselves !) , thus with some obvious masochistic connotations in this context. Also, girdles are (were) used by women to hide/correct/improve some natural imperfections they were ashamed of (= the humiliation factor). The fact that I like rather chubby women is probably another factor to consider.
As you rightly pointed out, girdles/foundations are NOT considered as "deviant" by most people in our society (rather an out-fashioned ugly under-garnment) but for me they are beautiful and HIGHLY erotic, thus definitely "DEVIANT". It's a very complex topic and we should avoid any rough generalizations.
I think I'm not alone with this unusual peculiar "deviant" fetish since I know there are a few members here who likes them too, but not many.
