I am nowhere near as active here on the Forum as I once was, lurking now more than contributing with writer's block, but feel compelled to recognize and applaud your work. I really admire your imagination, staging, cruelty, and how you render it. Exceptional work, sir!

Ed, glad to see you have made an appearance. A few days ago, I was wondering where you were.

Yeah, volumetric fill is a good choice, gives an eerie feeling. I would use a displacement map on the legs, with negative values, right now it looks like the burnt skin is like on top of the surface of the body while a more realistic take would be gnawing inside the tissue. But a minor thing, for sure.

These pics are single frames from a video rendered in 4k. Because its a video I'm trying to keep render times down as I dont make a lot of money and rendering is expensive. You are right that would make it look better but it would add to render times. I wish I could do more to add to the realism but for now at least I don't have the cash. Its a good idea though.

It's an excellent terrific 8-) 8-) poser stake damsel burning at the stake (bats)video.
Hope to see more. Ivan I created a lot of 100 frame 3 second loop gifs poser bats: http://www.stakedamsels.com/forum/viewt ... 1378b38038, at stake damsel forum which are not 4K that are fairly realistic and don't require long render times or cost.
In my bats gifs it's about stages of a stake damsel burning a not continues long video.
Maybe that less expensive and time option you could try. Will Burner
