No, using the tag in forums does not consume bandwidth from your site unless the image or GIF is hosted on your server. Here's how it works:

If the image/GIF is hosted on your site: The forum will reference the file from your server, and every time someone views the forum post, it will pull the image from your site's server, using your site's bandwidth.

If the image/GIF is hosted on another site (like Imgur, Giphy, or another external host): The forum will pull the image from that external site, and your server will not be affected. The bandwidth used will come from the external host's server.

So, if you want to avoid using your site's bandwidth, it’s best to host images on external image hosting platforms.

As I mentioned at the beginning of my reply to you: YOUR POSTS ARE NOT PART OF THE PROBLEM.
It's mostly original art producers, like myself, who tend to create extremely large works in order to focus on detail, and don't reduce them before posting.

There’s not much to say about this offender.



He killed two women (Alysia Greenwade, Betty James), was arrested, and hanged himself in prison. Travis claimed to have committed as many as seventeen murders, and part of the public believes the number is around twenty.

The whole story, in my opinion, stinks like a dead fish.

In the end, authorities linked Travis to twelve murders, including Mary Shields and Cassandra Walker, who were killed in 2000 and 2001 respectively, as well as the murders of four unidentified females in 2002.

In my opinion, Travis wanted to be seen as a bigger, more successful, and better killer than he really was, and the authorities took advantage of that to pin unsolved murders on him.

The story here gets interesting, but I still think there’s more lies than truth in it.
