Re: The perils of Jennifer
I admit that I overreacted a bit but after your first trial a few fans of Jennifer reacted immediately and clearly indicated that they were not interested in your 3D creation and still you gave it a second try.
That kind of pi... me off, sorry.

https://ralphus.net/thegimpforum/downlo ... &mode=view, great job. I fully agree with your comments and the others I've read. The styles are not comparable. Also, one should not intrude in another's space with the presumption of improving things and without really asking permission.Jarpi wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2024 12:27 am @ BlirGimp
Why don’t you start a topic with your own story with your work ?
To me, more realistic does not necessarily make it better. Just like the followers of Jennifer we use our imagination to see what isn’t there. The gory movies aren’t the scariest ones.
In regards to time, one hour is also the time it takes for me to finish a drawing, but I enjoy doing it, it is a hobby , not a job.

Re: The perils of Jennifer
Our girl is becoming popular. Not convinced that's in her best interest.
Thanks once again Jarpi.

I suppose my point is that with the tools available today, AI, Poser, DAZ, Photoshop, PhotoPaint, Comic Life, etc, people can produce very good images and quality comics with minimal effort. OZ, for example, has migrated from simple, flat line drawings to the CGI world for his works. Likewise, Damian's works are somewhere between photo-realistic and oil-painting like in nature. My cheapo $49 version of PhotoPaint includes an entire collection of one-click tools that can apply all sorts of effects and layers to compositions. I'm continually discovering what it can do and experimenting with it.
I used to use Powerpoint (of all things) to produce comics, but that's been overtaken by tools like Comic Life which make it easy to string together images to tell a story. And, there are all manner of free and commerically available props, scenes, lighting, clothing, skins, characters and hair available for artists to use to turn one's imagination and fantasies into very good images. I admit to being brain-dead regarding AI, but that ought to be on every artist's radar screen as a means of producing quality works.
If all you want to look at or produce is one-off line drawings, great, that's your choice, but in the world of erotic art, much better is possible and available. Why not embrace it? And if you are a consumer of erotic art, why not embrace and encourage those who are making an effort to produce quality works, especially work that is not concealed behind a pay-wall or monthly subscription?

There is also still black an white photography , is color better , it’s a matter of taste.
Computer drawings don’t appeal to me and I never look for them, les gouts et les couleurs se discutent pas
