LLL wrote: Wed Jul 17, 2024 8:46 am And once again I appeal to JD's wise counseling. I got to think: can I inpaint other people in some great bondage pics? More or less as I did with Dany, Sansa and Aria? So I tried Jessica Alba in an old Aika Miura pic. Result was acceptable. However, Daenerys did not go as well. Anyway, I then tried to change the background from a studio to an outdoor desert scene. But no matter what I am stuck with a weird sort of bubble around the central figure. And that's the best result, never mind the worst. Any suggestions? Also re the different skin tone between Aika and impainted Jessica?
Sorry I can't provide advice on the AI thing. However, I find https://ralphus.net/thegimpforum/downlo ... &mode=view, an improvement over the original.
Thanks Frog, you're too kind!

bleumune wrote: Wed Jul 17, 2024 8:12 pm Hey JD - are you having problems with Fooocus? It seems to want a new version - Fooocus_win64_2-6 - but I have version Fooocus_win4_2-5. I tried going to GitHub and looking for an upgrade to 2-6 but no joy.

Given my luck, it's probably just me and no one else is having problems. I thought launching the run.bat would automatically upgrade stuff but I get a bunch of error messages.
No, it's a general problem. They changed requirements for torch to a new version but the server has crashed because it's new and in high demand. Same issue here. Try again tomorrow, the demand will cool off, I hope.

You can use Automatic1111, it's still going fine or maybe learn Midjourney. Any kick in the bum is a step forward.
The problem is still there, but I did find a fix from youtube:

Anyway, I now have Fooocus back up!

Yeah, that or a clean reinstall, after saving the MODELS and LORAS folder. They added the ENHANCE function, which is nice.

What does the ENHANCE function do?

Also, I read that 2.5.0 has an upgraded anime checkpoint. You can get it to upgrade by launching the anime bat. But there are several other upgrades that I've got to do some reading on. I would love to just copy and paste checkpoints and LORAs, but I'm still too ignorant to know if I can get away with it.

More or less what Krea.ai does but for free, from the release notes. Also the pest might be happy, there's a easy way now to use a facial of someone into another inpaint via Image Prompt.

I guess he would be even happier if you explained how it works, o wise one who has the power of fooocus.

What LLL said!

This beginner has no idea what Krea.ai does, so it's a reference point that is just floating around out there in digital hyperspace!

It's a new feature added literally yesterday. I only watched a few YouTube featurettes, the same that you can watch yourself, people.

I promise I will study it tomorrow, but at a first glance I see no mention of "a easy way now to use a facial of someone into another inpaint via Image Prompt" :(

That's an old feature, since Fooocus put ControlNets in their interface, some half a year ago.
