Finally they were assigned a sequential number , photographed and their number was tattooed on the inside of their forearm.

A file was created for each one, it did not include their names.

I pixelated the numbers because no characters in my version of this story represent any actual persons on that train and I don't want to take the chance using the number of an individual who's number is known.
