The top one will never work, the 2 elektrodes are assembled with metal screws so they are electrically connected and they will short circuit (and destroy) any voltage source connected to them.

The pic resolution is low but if you look more carefully you'll see they used clear plastic sleeves at the rods ends to insulate the metal screws from the copper electrodes, the upper and lower rods are electrically insulated from each other, otherwise it obviously couldn't work.
Also, commercial electro-play generators are high impedance current limited devices and won't be damaged if short-circuited.

Thanks, I didn't notice the insulating sleeves. I still wonder how they insulated the bolt where it passes true the copper tubes, probably with some kind of plastic inserts.

I didn't want anybody to miss this recent scene in The Squad 2023.
Unfortunately it's mostly facial close-ups and a brief shock scene.
Still a great premise and scenario though - she is being questioned by a drug cartel about her supplier.

That movie has another scene later where the three leads are strung up and they look mighty good that way.
Unfortunately they don’t get any physical torture, but a little bit of psychological torture works okay.

Anastasia did a few Dr. Squalus videos for me before (graduating?) moving away from Moscow. I can ask about having her participate in one of my upcoming videos if there's interest. She might make an interesting Milgram Memory Test subject, or a crucifixion victim (again).
