With two high priority human detainees on board the Visitors shuttle rose to one of the mother ships in orbit around the conquered planet.

The prisoners where made to strip naked in the hanger of the -ship

Robin Maxwell was led out first, she was carrying the first known human, visitor hybrid and when she tried to schedule an abortion the visitors took her into custody to protect the fetus.

She would be well cared for as long as she carried the hybrid

Julie Parrish now wearing only soft metal cuffs on her wrists and ankles was being escorted to a very different part of the ship. As a senior commander in a California anti-occupation terrorist cell they needed to extract information from her before converting her into a zombie slave

The cuffs restricted her arms but allowed walking. They had no Chains or cables, Julie thought they must be magnetic

Once in the chamber her feet became frozen in place.

Diana decided to personally supervise Julie's Interrogation / conversion
Technician 1)" She has a heavily repressed childhood memory, something to do with being chased and running into an abandon building to get away."

Diana) "Perfect, activate it. Let's impress her with how deep we can dig into her mind"
A beam of light and Julie was out of her body, but she could feel it.

Everything would be taking place in her mind

Julie saw the irregular column of colored smoke forming

and instinctively turned and ran.
Julie)::Jesus, FUCK NO, not this, not now::

It was a nightmare that had played out over a thousand times by the time she was twelve, she would awaken screaming, drenched in sweat and unable to go back to sleep for the rest of the night, it effected her schooling, she'd often doze-off in class the next day. After a dozen or so times it became a lucid dream and just remembering it would trigger panic attacks.

It didn't matter how old she was when she had the dream, she was always a child again in it.

The dream was always the monster would chase her till she tripped or dropped from exhaustion, then grab her and hoist her up by her arms, she would scream and wake herself up.

...Julie was stripped naked in the hanger of the mother-ship and now wearing only soft metal cuffs on her wrists and ankles she's escorted to the conversion chamber...

Nice, cluseb! You can almost feel the chill of the air... Love the subject Julie, too.

The last time she had the dream she was only thirteen, she was twenty four now, and she had killed both aliens and humans, she spent her days planing terrorist attacks, she should be able to handle the Monster from the Id.

Julie was coming up with a plan that would save her a lot running and thus energy.
She stopped running, turned to face the beast and and raised her arms

Diana) " What is she doing?"
Technician 1)"She's surrendering."

Diana) "Why?'

Technician 1)"She shut down the dream, she's too familiar with it, she knows how wake from it."
Diana) " Don't let her catch her breath, run the Stress-chair program right away."

Diana) " Go back over the data, I want to know what smoke monster represents. She wont have an answer for this one now."

Back in Julie's mind she is immediately transported to a new situation, this time she's restrained.

Rather uncomfortably at that.

And in her mind she was cold and bound.

In a stress position with frigid water drizzling on her back.For hours.


But for Diana and her busy staff only a few minutes have past.

This type of procedure must be closely monitored

That futuristic time warp us tough.

Diana) " Why is she shaking? How are her vitals? "

Tech 1 ) " Vitals Okay. Her temperature is little high 38° standard
Earth scale. Her body is reacting to the perceived temperature
by shivering to generate more body heat. "

Tech 2 ) " But she is resisting the illusion, she feels the pain
and cold but she knows she isn't really being hurt. "
Diana) "" Then let's really hurt her. Fade her back in to her nightmare but leave her the stress chair at the same time, and while she's juggling those two illusions get her body down to the wet-lab and get that East German interrogator on her.

Diana) "Let's see if she can separate the illusionary pain from real trauma."

Julie was back in the dream, and this time her pursuer had mass and form

Diana) "Did you figure out what the monster represents?"

Technician 1) "An older person she should have been able to trust, who molested her while they were playing some game where she hid and he had to find her. I've strengthened him, She's completely suppressing the memory of the event, I'm trying to get her to remember what really happened."

Julie's heart was beating like a base drum, the monster was gaining on her and she was still in the stress chair with freezing water pouring on her back.

She was totally unaware that the physical her was being walked down to where a more old school hands on experience awaits her.
