Here's another Weird Menace magazine, Dime Mystery April 1938. This one required some serious replanning of the Wheel device, since the threatened heroine, who looks like a high society-type, can't possible survive more than a minute or two with the huge spike that are shown once the Wheel starts turning. There just isn't room! And, of course, any self-respecting demon and demoness would NEVER let their captured heroine go to her doom in her shift! If I had been alive in 1938, I would have been REALLY frustrated at what the artist didn't show.

Anyway, I got carried away again and wound up coming up with a mini-story line. It doesn't go too awful far, but it takes several revolutions of the Wheel before my heroine loses all her clothing and starts to get ravaged by the spikes. For those who are interested, stand by (3 images per day, remember).

Oh I love where this is going. Couldn't help but notice the pan of coals under the wheel. 8-)

And I'll bet you put the guy's hand on Blondie's tit on purpose, didn't you.

Can't wait to see more, Bleu.

It looks like you've got me figured out. Except . . . 8-)

. . . there are spikes that can rise up through the coals . . .

You did notice that I mentioned getting ravaged by the spikes in my intro, didn't you? :o

I to notice the coals which I assume are to be lit hot coals and with spikes when gimp is put on the wheel of misfortune.
It is believed by twisted  Gimper me that comb shape spikes act like compression bandage to stop the gimp to bleed out while creating maximum pain.
Very diabolical of you for sure. Can't wait until tomorrow. Will Burner
Note: Could that be Vanna White?

Definitely not Vanna by intention. I was just trying to get an attractive flapper girl from the 20's - the hairdo and the dress are appropriate for that timeframe.

Yeah, I missed that. When it comes to visuals of helpless women and text, my reading comprehension tends to suffer.

I think you succeeded quite well with that.

Here's the next three images. I decided to add some text to the imagery. I'd appreciate opinions about whether it's a positive or a negative. And is it readable?
