"General Garcia's Playroom" the first image in a series of 8 images with texts by "Electrosadist" and sent to me by a valued member of my site to interpret visually. The other 7 will be uploaded to my Latin American Junta thread in the coming weeks.

Might be interesting to use your composites as prompts for AI re-interpreting. This way you give the engine a clear direction while smoothing over all the inexactities with rough borders and different chromatic palettes.
Re: Damian Own Site
Well, I have the latest Photoshop and if I include even tame nudity, never mind torture and rape, it refuses to work and there is a message that I should read their terms and conditions! The algorithm is programmed to not act when such images are involved. I get around this by blocking out the offensive material either by closing the se layers or by covering these so they are not visible to prompt the app to do what I want on a background or other material, I have not posted any of my images to be interpreted by AI, I am too busy doinng pictures, I would, however, like to see the result if someone else does this.
Re: Damian Own Site
Photoshop does that? WTF? Not that I plan to move to a cloud version ever but still, that's pretty fucked up. What operations do you require from Photoshop that algoritm blocks?
Re: Damian Own Site
Generative fill when you want to add content, sometimes it brings in whole scenes, though if either the background or subject include nudity the damn thing refuses to work popping up the disclaimer!

Re: Damian Own Site
You can use Photoshop CC without using the cloud storage. I have an active Photoshop CC & Photoshop Lightroom license and I store all my pics on my local drives only.
With generative fill I ran into the same issue as Damian, when there's nudity in the picture it doesn't work and PS claims a violation of their terms and conditions. I still need to try a possible workaround by adding a layer with clothing that can be removed afterwards. However, I'm not sure that this will fool the AI algorithm.
Re: Damian Own Site
I see, thanks for illumination. Still, unless I have no choice I stay away from software that require a monthly fee. I prefer to pay a lump sum and then keep it in perpetuity. Guess I'm old.BobDarkroom wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 8:38 am You can use Photoshop CC without using the cloud storage. Re: Damian Own Site
I understand your point of view but more and more software packages require either a monthly or an annual fee.doe.1971 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 10:15 amI see, thanks for illumination. Adobe's photography plan including Photoshop, Lightroom and Camera Raw cost me 12€/month and as an amateur photographer I think it's worth it. If I hadn't quit smoking many years ago I would still be spending a multiple of that amount on cigarettes
I guess the time of perpetual licenses has come to an end for quite a lot of software packages and I'm not happy with it either but I want my PS to be kept up-to-date so I pay the license just like I do for MS Office.
By the way, I forgot to mention that all AI image generators that I have looked at do generate the images in the cloud but you can download them when they are generated.
Re: Damian Own Site
Good point but OTOH the latest Office is more bloatware than the previous, I have all the functions I need in my Office 2007 that was paid in the old system.BobDarkroom wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 11:13 am I guess the time of perpetual licenses has come to an end for quite a lot of software packages and I'm not happy with it either but I want my PS to be kept up-to-date so I pay the license just like I do for MS Office.
One more reason to stay away from AI myself.BobDarkroom wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 11:13 am By the way, I forgot to mention that all AI image generators that I have looked at do generate the images in the cloud but you can download them when they are generated.
