Coal or uranium? https://ralphus.net/thegimpforum/downlo ... &mode=view. Enjoyed the figure in the further away passage. Great detail.
JD's bazaar

Re: JD's bazaar
Iron ore. Coal is mainly exploited underground recently (sort of) while U even more so. I'm high fantasy only.

Re: JD's bazaar
I'm hurt, JD... you are not writing me anymore, nor are you sending me your works on preview like before. ANd all that only because I am spending some more time groping a hot 19 year old brunette and some less time proposing you scenarios you won't realizedoe.1971 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 12:57 pmThe pest? He provided a good number of subjects but later we kinda run out of mutual interesting scenarios, what he likes leaves me rather lukeworm and vice-versa.frog wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 7:09 am https://ralphus.net/thegimpforum/downlo ... &mode=view, I wish that was my trouble with lack of inspiration. Maybe some whips, pincers, or spiked rollers would bring the old muse back. Or ask LLL, he seems to be assiduously taking notes on the proceedings.![]()
We are a dying breed, my amphibian friend. The people who still rememeber Leia. We are going out the way of compact casette and VHS.

LOL and true.

Re: JD's bazaar
A celebrity that I liked many many moons ago. I've tried a 2D to 3D transferrance, result looks good to me but I was curious if she's still recognizable for the people at large. So, any guesses who she might be?
Re: JD's bazaar
I recognize her but can't think of her name (damned old memory chips).
That's a really nice job btw. One has to look close to see it's a manip. Thanks for sharing as always.
Slave Rule #1- No matter how bad the pain is, it can always get worse
Re: JD's bazaar
Thanks. Well, it's a half-manip as it's not a typical head replacement Photoshop insert job but two 3D sources, true, not aligned well in colorization and luminance so it's still visible at a certain level they come from a different set of textures. A similar technique, but with less impressive results was tried here (guess it's been posted here or on AU). Different geometries with different toned textures. Hope the AI one day will become smart enough to do a perfect aligment on colour/luminance of two source textures. One day.
