Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
Inspired by JD (doe)-
JD posted some images with a lot of heroines being racked (see first image as one example), and I decided to try to emulate the master.
So here's a few images of the Evil Queen having sent all her maids to the dungeon after several pieces of jewelry came up missing. The executioner has his hands full going from rack to rack and increasing the tension on the hapless maid until someone confesses, and he's shown straining to add one more notch to one racked maiden . . . his mistress, the Queen, is a stern taskmaster . . .
There are a couple more images, but given the limitation of 3 images per post, they'll have to wait until tomorrow. Also, JD is more of an artist than myself and keeps his images significantly darker than I like. My excuse is that the human eye does a much better job of adapting to low light than does 3D art software.

Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
I'm a huge fan of JD's multiple rack scenes, and I love your version as well. I especially like how they are all held at a nicely stretched position with that pained expression on their faces. The raised spiked roller at the far end is a nice touch. Great art and thanks so much for sharing.bleumune wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:15 pm Inspired by JD (doe)-

Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
Great pictures!...what happens to the girl who confesses first?
Will she hopefully continue to be tortured…?
The glowing irons are already clearly visible, but there is certainly more cruelty to be found...

Thanks for your interest, wulf. These images pretty much exhaust all the rack models I've collected over the years! What do you think of my version of lighting compared to JD's more artistic versions?wulf wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 3:43 pmI'm a huge fan of JD's multiple rack scenes, and I love your version as well. The torture of all the maids won't be stopped until the missing jewelry is found. If the items are not found, the torturer is not going to stop racking them until their joints are dislocated. THEN the glowing irons will come into use!Zylinderrohr wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 8:34 pm Great pictures!...what happens to the girl who confesses first?

Afterwards, the Queen will make a gift of all her maids to the torturer to do with as he will, as long as none of them are ever seen again. After all, she can't have it known that she exterminated ALL her maids over the jewelry! It would make it hard to find new maids! She'll put out a story that they could no longer be trusted, so she married them off to farmers in remote districts of the kingdom . . .
Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
That's a hard question. I actually like both but for different reasons. I like the darker atmosphere of a distant, wide angle view as in JD"s image. But your lighter view lets one see details better in a closer view. JD's darker scene may be more realistic, but a bit lighter works better for me if it's a close up. That said, I do think your images have maybe a bit too much light. Don't know if that's something you can play with or not. A little darker wouldn't hurt imo.bleumune wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 12:56 pmThanks for your interest, wulf. These images pretty much exhaust all the rack models I've collected over the years! Yep, they are a certain improvment compared to my early efforts (I think I was using a Pentium II then). Oh tempora ...
Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
I had to disagree with esteemed coleague here on nocturnal vision (or any other form of low-light). When the iris opens to the max, in low light we don't actually receive more light from darker areas, they remain dark. We receive proportionally more light from areas that alredy emit any kind of light in the first place. It's what digital tools call GAMMA factor.
For example, I took the liberty of adjusting what I believe would be a normal physiological perception in one of your images based on this gamma mechanism I mentioned.
