I'm kind of with you on the scene - burning at the stake is only mildly interesting to me. It's more a form of execution rather than slow torture. I think you've done some images with a heroine roped to a spit over hot coals - that's more my cup of tea, though even that wouldn't last all that long. But it might be several hours rather than fifteen minutes . . .
