The film of 'The Pole' is really the best way to view this set. As I cannot do that here, I have a series that I hope will not become too boring. Will the spike kill her or will the rope do the trick.

Up and down she goes by the rope around her neck.

Not sure how good these are but you'll get the idea of its evil intent.
1: A neat little set of blocks supporting her.
2: She doesn't look at all happy with the way she is tied.
3: Tough. It is only going to get much worse.

1: Time to take out a bit of support.
2: We'll just kick that one out from under her heel.
3: Now she gets a little support from the other man as she tries to grip that thin piece of wood with her foot. (See previous post 1: if you've forgotten what it is like.) Why is that man's foot moving?

1: Now he has kicked that thin tall wedge away. The rope tightens around her neck and as it is attached to the rope from her ankle and wrists, they have to go up to compensate.
2: At the moment she cannot find the triangular wedge.
3: She is struggling to breathe, to think, to find that tiny wedge. He helps lift her weight... He does not want her to die... yet.

1: She has managed to find the wedge and balances on it.
2: The man in front pushes the wedges together and back a little.
3: The man behind her kicks out the wedge so now she has to struggle on the lowest support.
