I, on the other hand, especially like the fact that they're being executed, not just punished. Those nasty looking nails and the blood oozing from their pierced feet seem to indicate a rather fatal crucifixion.

Bravo, JD, well done! If I'm not mistaken, this is only your third image depicting a crucifixion in the Witcher world.

I actually tried to persuade JD that the pic would benefit from having ropes in place of nails. So I am with Centaurus, it is an execution. But also with yyy02 :a punishment would have been more exciting.
