Whipping Host

“At last! Told you I would hear you scream…” said the baron.

They had taken Merida to the torture dungeon. She expected to be put on the dreaded rack, but instead they had tied her to two sturdy wooden beams, crossed to form a rough X. The baron, enjoying his role as welcoming host, had told her this was to be a warm-up, like an appetizer at a banquet. He had then shown her various whips, selecting one, he promised, that would not cause excessive bleeding, but still would cut skin and cause quite intense pain. Ten strokes, to start. He had then passed the whip to a servant, and placed himself in front of her, ready to savor every expression of fear. Merida had however managed to disappoint him, keeping a totally straight face.

The first strokes were however painful indeed. She had sometimes seen the whip used on outlaws and criminals, but the two strokes she got during her long walk from the forest to the castle had been her first direct experience with it. The kind of whip they were using on her now appeared to be slightly less dire. It cut her skin less deeply, but still induced acute pain, especially when a stroke crossed marks left by a previous one.

Still, she kept silent throughout the first ten, and the second ten that were hence ordered. The baron added yet another ten, and she again defiantly managed to utter no more than some whimpers till stroke twenty-nine. The thirtieth stroke however, upon a sign of the baron, was delivered downside up, and struck her precisely in the crack between her buttocks, the point of the whip cutting into her labia.

“Managed to surprise you with that one, did we?” said the baron. “If you enjoyed it we can do a lot more of that, placing you in the right position. Hanging you upside down, legs wide apart… Imagine how much more forcefully and precisely the whip would strike!”

Merida kept silent, squeezing her eyes shut to hold back tears of pain.

“But for now” – her tormentor added – “enough with the whip. Mind you, we could whip you to death, and it’s one of the most painful ways to die. But it gets boring. A hundred lashes, two hundred lashes… time for something new, I say”.

Merida was taken to another part of the torture dungeon, where a large contraption awaited her. She did not notice several jugs standing to the side…

“Yesterday we cleaned you up thoroughly at the mill. Today we will clean you on the inside as well!” said the baron.

Merida was ordered to lay down on the contraption. Her wrists and ankles were tied, and the middle piece of the structure was raised. Her limbs were taut, but not painfully so. Again, she feared a racking, but she could see no winches. Her back hurt a bit, but all in all the position was almost relaxing, and some small pops in her cramped joints were even welcome. Then a funnel was forced into her mouth…

Nunc est bibendum (II)

“How many cans do we give her, Gareth? I say she can take twelve.”

“That would be… unwise, my Lord” answered the woodsman. “Twelve would most certainly make her stomach burst. Spectacular, but pretty final. And a mess to clean up”.

“Ten?”

“I defer to your expertise with the whip, my Lord, but in this case… Maybe she could survive seven, maybe even eight, but to stay on the safe side I would stop at six. Don’t worry, six will make her look nine months pregnant and begging she could deliver. She’ll be sick for hours. And way before that, after the first can, just swallowing the other five will be hell. The way she’s positioned, head lower than her belly, will make the feeling of drowning even more of a nightmare”.

“All right. As for you, Scottish harlot, remember you can stop this at any time by confessing. Just say so. Hmm, maybe that funnel in your mouth makes it difficult. Just raise your hand then, ha ha”.

You made JD's day, I found the jugs a little silly - or rather, I retorted they were silly when JD found an idea of mine silly. An idea that still has to make an appearance.

Unlike you and Frog. You were respectively father Wulfranius, who admittedly is only mentioned, and father Anoures (the order frogs belong to), who got a slightly more active role.

And so, a new kind of ordeal by water begun for Merida.

The first jug was bad. The second was a lot worse. By the third she doubted she would survive. By the fourth she hoped she would not.

When the fifth jug had been delivered, the baron decided to test Merida’s reactions. He rubbed at her clit, then pinched a nipple. Through unfocused eyes the girl looked at him.

“Ah, still with us. A little less defiant, maybe. I’ll have the pleasure of delivering your final toast in person. Any advice, Gareth?”

“Slowly but steady will do it, my Lord. By now, every small gulp will hurt her terribly. Don’t pour too much at once, but keep her on the edge”.
