Don't worry about making comments that drift away from the main topic, JD and everybody else. Once I got back to my computer, I really enjoyed JD's images and all the comments. I'll try to post something later today, but for now I want to make sure that JD knows how much I enjoy his work. I'd add a bit more light myself, since I know that the human eye has a much greater dynamic range than even a 3D image, but I know and understand the mood he's creating.frog wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:06 amWell said, especially the reference to bleumune.doe.1971 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 10:53 pm
I speak for all of us, creators but encouragements of any kind are what keep the wheels spinning. If no one would have expressed interest, those image would have remained on my HDD in perpetuity.
If there's a refuge online for sick fucks, this is the one. Ralphus' corner.
Now we derailed enough this thread, let's bleumune go on with his worthy endeavour.![]()
One request, JD. I'd really love to see more work involving Buffy and friends, especially really intense ordeals. Just a personal preference, of course!

Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
There's a serie in the making (for months now) about Buffy, Willow and Dawn being forced to go through water torture (you know, ingesting large amounts of water that make them look almost pregnant, I can look for the rest of images if it's up your alley). Minimalist style, only a shadowcatcher if even that.

I'd love to see the new series as well as anything else with Buffy that you haven't posted in the new GIMP.doe.1971 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 1:35 pmThere's a serie in the making (for months now) about Buffy, Willow and Dawn being forced to go through water torture (you know, ingesting large amounts of water that make them look almost pregnant, I can look for the rest of images if it's up your alley). I especially like the way you handle hot iron burns. I tried to use Displacement Maps to do what you said that you do in Poser, but it interfered horribly with the geoshell for sweat. I decided my heroines looked better with a layer of pain-sweat and burn marks without Displacement than otherwise. One of the downsides to Daz.
Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
Yeah, Poser doesn't have (or I don't know how to make) geoshells. Probably using the nodes of the materials one can produce similar effects but otherwise not.bleumune wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 1:43 am I especially like the way you handle hot iron burns. One way around when I have conflicting 'effects' is to do partial renderings (one with sweat on, displacement off, then reverse) and combine them in PSP, as you don't need sweat in the spot of a burnt mark, for example.
Re: Misc. Inquisition Scenes.
I may have gotten a little carried away with this one, but oh well! I just couldn't stop myself from adding more to the Inquisitor artwork!
Background: The kitchen servant named Cora (since her birth name was unpronouncable to Germanic tongues) may have been an African princess before being captured by slavers and sold to a Bavarian duke, but she was now detailed to kitchen duties in the duke's castle. Unfortunately, she was not a careful or diligent servant, and now she found herself in the dungeon while the Duchess watched her torture impassively. Cora was suffering more than an interrogation--it was essentially an execution by command of the Duke, and this was only the beginning. Spilling a bowl of hot soup into the lap of the Duchess had not been a good career move. She would not make that mistake again . . .
