Thanks for all the explanation. I have some simple software that can cut video into gif file, and I have been posting those without problem. I am wondering if we could convince the admin of this website to loosen the allowed file size to 5MB, which makes it much easy to simply upload GIF file.

You can also use Imgur to host videos up to a certain size, then post that link .
