I mean the scenes where Alex winds up like Reggie Jackson about to smack a homerun, but then checks his swing because the pitch was bad, but grunts like he just put full force into the shot and the welt appears immediately because it's just paint on the threads. To be honest, it'd be more realistic to swing less hard and have the welt appear a few frames later, even if he has to do shot->swing-> stop -> reset -> make SFX -> swing again. The risk then becomes continuity being disrupted, so I'd prefer shot -> swing -> scream -> shot -> swing -> scream; with no welts but we can see the skin vibrate from the impact. The best whipping Alex has done was in "Extreme Psychiatry". I'm convinced that actress actually suffered a whipping.yyy02 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 7:00 pmBut of course, there weren't any welts left behind on the skin, like what Alex so convincingly films. I think anything of that sort with ZFX was added, via makeup, after the fact. And the fact that Alex does oversell it a little works better for me than some of the limp-wristed obvious fakes you see on other offerings. Edit: Or do you mean those occasional Bruce Lee-like sounds he sometimes does as he's whipping? I actually don't mind those, and find them entertaining.![]()

Lara Cross look great in those stills. Can't wait to see the final film. I have a customs idea for her, but I want to see a video performance first.
