Same for big gif files, except, remote or not, they will be visible with the [img] tag.

It's a multi step process. I use Adobe Premiere to clip the original video into just the part that I want, and export the result as a MP4 file. Then I use ffmpeg to convert the MP4 file into an animated WEBP file. By doing that, the video is technically still a picture, so it will play automatically when it gets posted. The downside is that it loses sound, and also loses a ton of quality.

I then upload the WEBP file to bdsmlr.com and get the link for the uploaded file. I'll also upload the MP4 file to redgifs.com (which maintains the original quality and sound) and get the link for that video.

Then I just post the links. None of the files are hosted on this site, so it doesn't take up any room here.

If you'd like, I could post more details about the process. I used to moderate a bdsm subreddit on Reddit and posted several thousand video clips, so I've got the process pretty well figured out.

Thanks for all the explanation. I have some simple software that can cut video into gif file, and I have been posting those without problem. I am wondering if we could convince the admin of this website to loosen the allowed file size to 5MB, which makes it much easy to simply upload GIF file.
