Hm... Hard to answer this one, while it is a really interesting question. Hard to answer because I think I fulfilled most of my fantasies in the Mood Pictures films during those 10+ years I created them... I think partialy I stopped making them because I made into film everything I wanted I did not have any more to make other than repeating myself...

Anyway the scenario which interests me the most is judicial punishment (probably this doesn't surprise anyone who at least vaguely knows my films), when the victim must endure a certain number of strokes. I find very interesting to picture the tension before the execution of this punishment. When the victim has a rough idea what it would be like to endure this torture, and she would be happy to get through it the earliest possible, but still she has to wait until the time comes. And then the preparations, the formalities... etc...

I was aware of your retirement plans a bit longer. Well, I cannot put into words how much I mourn this decision, but of course I respect and accept it. Your movies gave me great delight. That is a Kyrie Eleison, however unfortunately I don't know the composer. (A lot of classical composers wrote different Masses which all feature the Kyrie Eleison)
