I find it interesting that shaving her head is considered a punishment/torture.

I shave my partner's head regularly. It is a very intimate thing. I also do a fake full body shave on her with a straight razor (The blade is NOT sharp), but the act of the long slow strokes over her whole body with the straight razor is a HUGE turn on for both of us. Zero danger from the dull blade, lots of perceived danger. She does the same to me.

Again, 2-4 days after a good head shave, there is the tiny bit of grow, enough to sound good with a fake straight-razor, as if shaving it again. Again, we both find this very erotic.

I love the detail on it. And the historicity of it being from 1988 just adds to it. What is the context of it? Is it supposed to take place under a Junta dictatorship? Its interesting to see some artwork from a time when they were mostly still in power and scenes like this were still happening for real.

Actually they still are. Myanmar, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, etc., etc,.
