There is a lot of hate in this post and I don’t understand actually why. Honestly since I discovered Electric City I’m very satisfied by their job, of course some video is better than the others, like every producer, but I think it’s a very nice cinematic production.

My unsolicited opinion; there is no hate in Floor13's posts. She is just very blunt and frank about what she likes and does not like. She is also very open and honest about her personal experiences. No hate, just truth and frankness.

There is room for all on this forum, and I guess Ralphus will step in if it gets too heavy, if he hasn't already via PM.

I have some of ECP's products, and I generally like them, mostly for the ambience, although the fetching subjects and the punishment they endure aren't shabby either. And like I said before, all props to ECP for carrying on, while in the middle of a war with a megalomaniac and his "army". If that's not capitalism at it's most powerful, then what is?

Electric City Productions can maybe be forgiven this time because of all the undeniable stress they're under. Our little corner of the World is very small. We don't need to see another producer go under...for any reason.

But please do not burden Floor13 with the "hate" tag, because there is none to be found. Just a very frank and honest assessment of ECP's product. (Though she may be a bit aggrieved because they sent her that PM.)

Recently saw Top Gun ~ Maverick.…

Highly recommend… and in the hot military chick category is one of the Top Gun pilots, Monica Barbaro also of The Good Cop fame. This cutie looks amazing in tight khaki uniform, as well as a flight suit. As any good GIMP-er can relate, however, her appearance ranks in the all time “missed opportunity” category also. Navy LT Natasha Trace - call sign Phoenix - should have been the one shot down in the movie… that could have set up a sequel dedicated to her… which of course would be a full-length feature of her interrogation and torture in the hands of ruthless and sadistic Russian intelligence officers.

17 June, 1967: Cu Loc Prison, Hanoi, North Vietnam:

Lieutenant Jordan Tyler had already endured two months in North Vietnamese hands, and though she had been broken only a couple of days after arriving at the Hanoi Hilton, she had rebounded. That confused the North Vietnamese, who had been surprised at having an American servicewoman as a prisoner, but they had resumed her bad treatment, telling her "Your treatment depends on your attitude." She had spent a month in an isolation cell, but had finally been given a chance to bathe, receive her POW pajamas and other prison gear, and write home (it was never mailed, she found out after release in 1973).

After the officer she later learned was the Cat had decided that the interrogators had gotten everything they were going to, she had been taken in a truck, blindfolded and handcuffed behind her back, to Cu Loc Prison, or, as its American POWs called it, "The Zoo" (one POW explained "it was where the animals look at the people") and thrown into a cell in a building that had once been some kind of storage shed, but had been converted to a three-cell cellblock. Tyler had settled into life as a POW, until a North Vietnamese known to the other POWs as "Dum Dum" (So named because of his atrocious English), called her into interrogation and demanded she produce a statement condemning the bombing of civilian targets in and around Hanoi. She refused.

Now, she had spent three days in a punishment cell, completely nude, with only two pieces of bread and two cups of water a day. Dum Dum came to her and repeated his demand for a statement. "I can't," she replied.

"YOU WILL!" The door was slammed shut and Tyler was left "back in the dark." The next time, it could mean another session in the ropes, but she had no way of knowing when. She also knew there were other Americans there, but did they know she was there? Only time would tell....

I've also found that the best scenes in Electric City movies are in the tailer. But that's probably a matter of taste.
What bothers me is that EC brings the same posts to multiple subjects here in the forum. And several times the same thing some time later.
Electric City uses the forum for advertising only. EC is not interested in the discussions.
Therefore, EC should be limited to postings in the producers corner.
