skullchaser, you bring up a very good point. The little flex in her knees wasn't quite as much of deal-breaker for me because I sort of thought that different women have a different tolerance for pain, in different axis (stretched supine vs. stretched in a standing spreadeagle, for example) ?skullchaser wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 7:36 pm...As soon as I saw her flex her knees, I lost my willing suspension of disbelief that she was actually taut on the rack. Maybe it was just a slip on her part, but that killed it for me. Shame, too, because she was doing a good job up until then. If she'd been able to pull against restraints, she could've worked the role better....
But I did think it was kind of early in the stretch for her to react as strongly as she did. I sometimes wonder if the actresses bother to look at their performances after the fact and if they sit down and discuss/critique them with Alex? Also, what feels a certain way may not look a certain way?
Also, I'm curious as to how you felt about her vocal performance?
BTW, are you sharing your thoughts with Alex? I know he used to pop onto the GIMP forum every now and again. Not sure if he is these days, being quite busy and all. I look at it as constructive criticism for both he and the actresses.
Cry is a great example of a tough performer who can obviously take a lot and is very flexible to boot. Arina is new, and if she takes coaching well, could be great.
