I'm a rope and strap kind of guy, but I like this thread.

I'm afraid that I am at the point when I see rope bondage, no matter how well done, my instant response is "it's a shame you couldn't afford real restraints." Straps, particularly leather straps or leather cuffs linked with chains are OK if deployed properly. Where by "properly" I mean, of course, locked and inescapable.
