She's not only beautiful and talented and liked to be tied up naked, she's also a wizard at web design. If only she didn't live in Bolivia, I'd marry the girl. Oh, and the fact that she's already taken..aw, never mind. I'll just have to settle for enjoying her work in GIMP movies.

I hope you like the look of the new forum. This might be the only forum that has all the modern user-friendly conveniences AND is also set up to use HTML. That way you can put in fancy colors and embed pictures into your posts if you want.

So much shit has happened since the site went down and I have been busting to tell you all. Let me just say there is some very good news for ZFX fans.

Yep, I shot a movie. There will be some pictures on the ZFX site pretty soon, I'll give you a heads up when it happens. Here is a teaser for now.



The performer in this movie is Candle Boxxx. She is extraordinarily beautiful.
She looks like a cross between Kim Basinger and Geena Davis facially. Dirty blonde. No tats, tasteful implants and really nice nipples. Small areolas with large teats. Hey, nipples are important! Her body is, in a word, phenomenal. Tallish, thin, leggy.

She has done customs for other Gimpers but I think I took her to the next level of extremity lol. She actually thought it was all pretty easy but it looks pretty harsh. She is really tough and willing to do a lot. I could not have asked for a better model.

Incidentally, I found her after seeing her on this very board through fellow Gimper MAV, so thanks MAV for hooking a brother up. It was very much appreciated.

Much more to come on this subject, I'm still wrestling with a title. No release date yet, possibly May.

While I do think it's a cool feature to be able to comment directly on someone's post, I wonder how that's gonna work when the board starts filling up with more posts. Meaning, how would you know if someone has made a comment on your post without scrolling down to find it? Also, what happens if a heated debate starts on a single post? Would that post then disappear from the main page when it reached the bottom?

On another note, Candle Boxx and Rick doing a ZFX flick. God dammit, that sounds like a perverts dream come true. Can't wait to see that one!!!

First congratulations to our dwarf like Ralphus on getting the site back up and running. A special thanx to Amy for the actual grunt work of prepping and preparing the new site. Curious what posting software you installed on the server. Or did you hand-write it?

I have two subjects I want to mention. One very much on-topic and one very much off topic.

On Topic. BBC America has some of the best television you can watch. Right now they are running 'Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond' the story of Ian Fleming and his history in World War II Intelligence. The reason this is on topic is that in the very first episode, Fleming's wife is flirting with him. In response he binds her wrist behind her back, pushes her back on the bed and climbs on top. Brief, but interesting. The show then flashed back to WWII and the development of the relationship, which includes rough sex, spanking and rape role-play. Plus it is a very good show.

Off Topic: I need to mention this here simply because it is not being covered in the news (http://mediamatters.org/research/2014/02/05/study-media-leave-viewers-in-the-dark-about-tra/197932). Obama, who I support/supported, is negotiating a trade deal with Eastern & Near Eastern countries. The deal is called the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

You may have heard his administration is fast track authority from Congress. What that means is that he can implement this deal, without any congressional review, making it law with his signature alone.

Neither Congress nor anyone but the country reps and the industry insiders who have written most of the agreement have seen the documents. One leaked provision basically allows corporations to sue governments when those governments cause them to lose profit by, say, passing an environmental law that inhibits the bottom line.

This was part of Nafta and Canada is already being sued under this type of provision. Basically it allows corporations authority to overturn national governments laws it does not like. Also provisions extend medicine patents beyond the 17 years currently allowed to US Corps. No more generic drugs. Good for us citizens, right?

And this is being done in secret!

I need to post this here because it is very hard to get the word out about this corporate move to grab power which has formerly been available only to nations. Don't believe me? Investigate it yourselves. But don't expect to find much in the mainstream media about it.

Wow, you're very welcome all, I'm overwhelmed! It was my pleasure to help out this great site.

And I'm very glad that everyone is enjoying, and taking advantage of, the new features.

It was right about the time that I was making some big changes over at the Red Feline site (moving servers and simplifying the site), that the GIMP went down. It couldn't have been more perfect timing for me to help, as I was working with coding and web design.

It's so gratifying to have my work rewarded by everyone posting again, and not just to thank me and Ralphus, but getting the ball rolling again with lots of great news (new ZFX movie!), pictures, and the jokes that make this place so fun.

In other news, I just finished shooting a short film that will be included in a feature-length horror film. It's "found footage", and I managed to sneak in a GIMP scene at the end. Of course.

It looks like the rain is finally letting up a little down here, so that means I can finally travel to Potosi to set the dates for shooting the huge GIMP scene for Olalla.

And the wood for the stocks (yes, stocks!) for Justine, our next production, is being delivered on Monday. So we should have some exceptional test pictures of that very soon. After I build the stocks. Sigh, yes, I do that too.

In addition, I just signed a distribution deal for four of our films with Wild Eye! This is pretty exciting news, and a great deal as we can keep selling our own DVD and downloads. We have no idea if it will make any money at all, and I won't know that for another year, but my hope is that our films will reach a wider audience so that we can keep growing as a company. And it makes GIMP movies just that much more legit.

I recently wrote a new story that features a pair of sisters who find themselves being GIMPs at the mercy of a sadistic Baroness. The title of the story is A Medieval Tale of Pain and Horror. It is extremely graphic and is just dying for an excellent artist like Arcas to bring it to life in living color as a graphic novel. I think the "Comment" feature has its advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I hope it doesn't get overused and we end up with 5 or 6 comments buried under a post that's been there a while, since it could get lost and missed by many people who wouldn't know to scroll down to posts they've already read. I like the idea of addressing several topics in one post (like I'm doing now). At least that way it'll be at the top so people will know it's new and will hopefully read it. We'll see how things go with the new system.

First time post. Amy, thanks very much for helping continue this forum.

For my contribution, I'd like to provide a review of Lady Panther 5 from Attackers.net.

This is one of my favorites. This series follows the theme of a female thieves being caught and abused. The highlight of the movie is An Nanba, who is beautiful and has incredibly erect nipples. In her first scene she is taken multiple times and in many ways, and she continues to fight all the way through her ordeal. Her facial expressions are excellent. Her body is very well proportioned and natural and a real pleasure to view.

While many of the Attacker videos have been criticized as being too consensual of late, in this movie, An really sells the non-consensual gang rape in her first scene after the takedown.

The last scene has her in rope bondage and a dental dam. In this predicament she has forced oral sex and then in both doggy and on her back. What she goes through seems very authentic, which makes the scene amazing.

An is well known for the erectness of her nipples during sex, which provides an interesting contrast. While she is clearly selling forced sex, at the same time sometimes she seems naturally aroused. Most of the time when a woman is truly aroused on film during forced sex, it can detract from the forced nature of the sex. In this case, I found it to be an excellent balance. She really seems forced and at the same time she seems aroused, against her nature.

There is another actress who also has some scenes, and An has a few more, but the An's first scene and last scene get a solid A from me. I never tire of watching them.

The pixelation is relatively low. I think this film is in one of the sweet spots. Earlier films from Attackers weren't "rough" enough, but too much pixellation. Later films have low pixelation but are not rough enough.

Overall I would rate this film a solid A, I think consistent with the ratings of Ralphus and A Canadian, based on the first and last scene of An.

Yup. Same here. I find her to be a STUNNING looking woman, but have never pulled the trigger on any of the videos at her site, only because there's a playful goofy tone to them that doesn't appeal to me.

I'm not downing on her, as she's obviously found her niche, I just require a bit of a harder edge to the kink I spend my perv dollars on, as I'm not interested in big personalities shining through in my GIMP material, especially once the action gets rolling.

Ha. Yup. I'm glad you said something. I have to rescind my previous statement.

Not only do I have one of her flicks, it's one of my favorites that also stars the equally hot Hunter. It's on PKF and is called Student Teacher Murder. I've linked to it and put some screen caps from it above.

Its been so long since I watched it that it just slipped my mind.... So many hot naked women being beaten and raped between now and then. Ha ha. Now there's something you don't type every day.

I'd HIGHLY recommend that one to anyone who hasn't yet checked out Candle, and like me is a little put off by the lighter tone of the flicks on her site. That one has none of that vibe, and there's a wealth of long wonderful shots of her fully nude suffering form for you to drink in.

There's no bondage in it, as it consists of her and Hunter getting it on, and they are then gassed by Max Coxx (That lucky bastard) who comes in and explicitly rapes and strangles Hunter while Candle is passed out, and then when she wakes up proceeds to strangle her with her panty hose..... Ya know, like ya do...

It's all shot up to the usual high PKF standards and both Candle and Hunter are out of this world gorgeous in it. It gets an A rating from me.

This is Candle. It was a pleasure to read through the forum and see all of the wonderful postings. Guess we will go through the various points and not clog up the screen with my rambles!

My clipstore is custom based, and for some reason, people like to see me act like a campy Lucille Ball with light humiliation. Not what I had envisioned at the genesis, but going with it and having a very good time. Each awful pun deserves an awful pun-ishment! :)

Not sure if anyone has read "Let's Go Play at the Adams", but that is more what I expected to do. A great book that is based on true events in case anyone is interested in babysitter torture and rape scenes.

By way of testing the new picture upload, here's the cover of a men's magazine I came across recently. This particular magazine had a big impact on me. I bought it in a small newsagents when I was a teenager when you could get magazines like this freely (which is more years ago than I care to remember). It contained a story about a girl being arrested in a South American country, which isn't even mentioned on the cover. She wasn't actually tortured, annoyingly being saved by the hero in the nick of time, but she was treated badly and there were descriptions of what was going to be done to her.

I've had it confirmed by at least a couple of people that such a version did indeed exist back when the film played in New York City in the mid-1970s. Yes, the version we all know and love is actually an edited, censored copy that Troma released on video years afterward. For all we know, the footage may be in a vault somewhere, or it may be lost forever. But it's my Holy Grail.

Candle Boxxx: What a pleasure to see you here! As I mentioned before, I'm a big fan. I think you're one of the cutest bondage models working today, and I'm stoked that you're working with Rick Masters for ZFX. And maybe again with another film in August! Oh yeah. I hope he tortures you good.

And the more I know about you, the more I like you. As Rick mentioned, I'm a huge fun of Let's Go Play at the Adams'...it's my all-time favorite book, and by far the BEST book ever written about bondage. It's a cult favorite, but not widely known and awfully hard to find because it's been out of print for years. I located a hardback copy years ago via a book-finding service after my then-girlfriend told me about it. They found a copy in Schenectady, New York and I paid $23 for it back in the late 1980s. I did a search on Amazon and you can buy one for around $150 today. Still, in my opinion, it's priceless. The travails of Barbara the babysitter are forever burned in my mind. There's no doubt the author Mendal Johnson (who wrote only the one book before sadly passing away) was definitely "one of us".

Judging from the increase in traffic, it’s paid off moving from the Dreamscape Caves to what qualifies as an actual building. Unlike most thread-based boards, this one does not bump up or highlight posts which have received a reply, so unless readers scroll through the entire forum every time they visit (and can identify new addenda), I fear most comments will go unread. Or am I missing something?

For example, I’d like to reply to Honorswar26’s post to praise him for his excellent new story, but I if I use the comment feature, I doubt if Honorswar26 (or anyone else) will ever read it. So will we adopt the convention of quoting or responding to previous posts in new messages as we did before? Or is there a way to draw attention to new comments as well as new topics? If we choose the former alternative, the GIMP will remain a single-threaded, linear sequence of posts rather than a multi-threaded, topic based board. On the bright side, it will now be a usable single-threaded, linear sequence of posts.

Oh, and by the way... great work on the excellent new story, Honorswar26. The ending wasn’t quite what I expected, but it is very well written and you sure didn’t pull any punches in the descriptions. Nicely done!

No, you're not missing anything. The more I look at the comments feature, the more I dislike it. For instance, I had to move Candle Boxxx's post up from where she originally posted, which was back below Rick's original post from 2 days ago. Otherwise, I fear very few people would have noticed it, and a post from a babe like Candle Boxxx is something everybody would want to read.

Amy gave me the choice of between a "threaded forum", like Stakedamsels, which has that feature of the latest replies popping up to the top, or a "guestbook", like Brian's Page uses and the same system we had before. I chose the guestbook. She added the feature where you can reply to individual comments. On the surface, it sounded like a good idea, but I can see now that it has its issues. The biggest one is potentially missing postings. That bothers me.

As far as I know, the "director's cut" is the most complete version of the movie currently available, but I haven't seen anything different compared to any other version out there. It appears to be the same version I watched on VHS back in the 1980s.

I have read that a retitled version, The Heritage of Caligula: An Orgy of Sick Minds used an inferior, edited print, but I never saw it. Hope that helps.

The first version of Bloodsucking Freaks that I ever rented on video was the one with the "Caligula" title. It seemed to me the quality of the film was OK, for a VHS version of a low-budget movie.

I don't think it was censored. The only change I can recall was to the opening titles -- they used some of the imagery of the woman being lifted out of the box near the beginning of the film to create a new opening title. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it was the exact same movie.

Regarding the comments option, here's my two cents. I think it might be a good idea to use the comments to post replies to reviews, so that the feedback is gathered in one place.

For all other discussions, I would recommend creating new posts, as I do think there is a risk that people's remarks will otherwise get missed.

Honorswar26: Fortunately, I noticed there were some replies to my previous post praising your story. I’m appending this here so there is less chance of it being missed:

I was shocked to read Ralphus’ comment that your original draft included the implied slaying of an infant. Although I enjoyed Medieval Tale in its current edit, had I known such a contentious scene was ever part of the narrative, I doubt I would have read your story. I suspect your decision to write this passage was intended more to shock than titillate, but I have to voice my objection nonetheless. I abhor censorship, and within the law of wherever you reside, you have the right to pen whatever you wish – but depicting the suffering of children or animals is anathema to me, and I suspect to many other GIMPers as well. I don’t have many personal boundaries, but now you know two of them.

That said, I also will add this same message as a comment to my post, because that’s where the discussion is. Of course, few will read my response there – which highlights the comment feature dilemma.

For what it's worth I'd vote for a threaded format.

Looks like the focus on the board has shifted from praising Amy for all her hard work in building this new forum for us...to criticizing me over my decision to continue with the format we were all using before. Brian's Page, which likewise started at Dreambook, was rebuilt by Brian himself, who's a software engineer and he chose the guestbook format as well. I definitely don't consider Brian's Page to be a "low traffic board"; they regularly get 4 times the number of posts we get here, and they seem to be doing just fine. They've been doing fine for 17 years now. So it does work.

I did weigh the options over going with the threaded board. I didn't dislike the idea, it's just that it would have been way different from what we were used to. Ultimately I went with the decision to make the transition as smooth as possible and to go with something similar to the way we were already set up. And no, we were down and couldn't vote on it. This was my call.

We'll let Amy weigh in on the issue. I agree the new setup has its issues, but up until yesterday, people seemed to really like it. Now, as I noted, it appears the tide has turned.

So, threaded versus guestbook format. I figured that Ralphus knew best when he chose the guestbook over a threaded forum. Why? Because it creates a different type of discussion. It tends to be more focussed around here, a bit livelier and more personal than threaded forums I've seen. Like we're all at a party together and people wander in and out of the room, putting in their two cents, then wandering out again to get another beer, or go talk to someone else. (I'm big on analogies, ask Ralphus).

I understand how the comments may not be working out. I, for one, sometimes can't check the board every day because I'm shooting on location or some such thing (tied up in a basement), so I would have to scroll down over everything to see if there were comments. It's also hard to control how the comments are used.

I can disable the comments at any time, if you so wish, but any that have been posted will become invisible at that time.

I can also create a threaded forum on a different URL, with no downtime here, if everyone wants that. But boss-man Ralphus is the last word on that.

And if you all want more smilies, I can probably add them. It's a bit of work, but if there are some specific ones people like to use, it takes the guesswork out of it.

For anyone interested in reading "Lets Go Play at the Adams" it is available on a digital book site for a monthly membership of $8.95 in either PDF or TXT form. Just remember to cancel your membership if you don't want to subscribe. In any case it's a lot cheaper than the $150 price quoted here. There are also books available on ebay for about $25.

A big problem with threaded forums is SPAM! We had a forum at Red Feline. I couldn't handle all the spam that kept trying to get in. I had to approve members to stop spammers and suddenly I had ten thousand requests and only two or three were legit. At the end I stopped approving. We put an end to it, no more Red Feline Forum until someone in our crew decides to start it again.

A threaded forum would require that we all JOIN, with user names and passwords. I haven't been able to post at Stakedamsels for a long time because I think it's not accepting my password. This forum is OPEN to all and less complicated. We all can enjoy without any hassle. Right? Am I right? and you will notice too that I will be posting with more frequency. What was laborious for me now it's easy.

I just have to get the hang of it to post with more pictures and fancy colours.

One unfortunate aspect over this forum format controversy is it's taking the attention away from the stills from the new ZFX upcoming release. Shadow Army looks like vintage ZFX. Not sure about the invisible man rape, but Rick did that at least one time before (in Dance Macabre) and he pulled it off. Then we get into more familiar stuff like electro-torture, clothespins, whipping and upside-down suspension. All in all, looks like a must-have. The one bad thing is having to wait until May, which usually means June or July

Quite frankly, I like this presentation of the forum. Threaded forums are a good idea if there are topics running all over the map, but that's not the case with this one. There are usually just one or two topics of conversation going on at once. Everybody who wants to has their say and we move on to something else. Pretty simple. My preference is to keep things the way they are.

It's great that so many folks came flooding back as soon as the new forum went up. I kinda thought we'd take a big traffic hit and have to rebuild a lot of viewership. And let me add my voice to the chorus: "THANK YOU, AMY!" Wow... so great of you - a damsel usually in distress - to come to OUR rescue! You, dear lady, are all kinds of awesome!

So this is my first return post so that I can get a sense of what the new user experience is like and not feel left out of the current chatter. So far so good. Now for the REAL test... to try the image attachment. If all goes well a good Arcas Golden Oldie follows - or precedes, however this thing manages it. I haven't been doing much new lately, but those clouds will clear soon enough, I'm sure.

I think the forum is pretty damn nice and I like this old school interface.
I just go back and read the comments I think it's a nice feature even without threading.

Maybe threading is something could be added later during a redesign but let's enjoy what we have now. If they do make changes in the future to add features they now have the luxury of not going down while it happens.

I'm sure Amy was thinking about the time sensitivity of the situation and trying to get it done in the quickest way possible. Its a big job to create one of these interfaces. Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth.

This is not a controversy. True controversy is when we are subjected to day after day of nasty depictions of women and bugs. This discussion, by contrast, is barely a tiff.

The only thing I would change or add to this new great GIMP forum would be able to edit or delete your own post. Otherwise it's great the way it is.

The upcoming new movie "Pompeii" should have GIMP scenes considering the Roman's love of torturing Christian women but knowing Hollywood it's not likely and the previews show no GIMP scenes. Bill K.

Which wouldn’t happen if this were a threaded forum . The format discussion would be neatly squared away in one thread, while the ZFX promos would be in another. Then there is the scalability issue. TRG says there are only “one or two” topics going on, but in fact there are many more. Sometimes three or four are covered in a single post. In fact, I suspect the format actually limits the discussion because a lively new topic can quickly push the older ones way down in the queue. And even if Brian’s Page is four times as active as this place, it’s still low-traffic. Many discussion sites have dozens of topics running at once – some have hundreds. I doubt a guestbook could support that level of activity.

All that said, one of the reasons I like the GIMP is because it is a small, friendly community where everyone knows your name. I don’t want to move to the cold, big city. So I should be careful what I wish for, right? Still, I like the idea of more organized discussions and other benefits which come with introducing threads. And I’m not even the one complaining about lack of contributors.

Anyway, sorry to further distract everyone from the ZFX “thread”, but given we are at a turning point here, I think it’s important we know where we are headed. Ralphus has clearly wrestled with this already, but unless he insists on shutting down further discussion (it’s his ball after all), I think it would be prudent to evaluate the pros and cons, clear up any misinformation, and give those who care about the matter a chance to post their thoughts.

I wasn’t really serious about putting this to a vote. It is a decision that should be made by our leader based on what he feels is best, and hopefully after weighing the opinions and recommendations of his minions. As we did not have the opportunity to comment in a timely fashion, I hope Ralphus will indulge our thoughts now, somewhat awkwardly after the decision has been made.

As for me, I’m willing to risk a threaded format for the reasons already stated and hence I support the change. But I do understand why others disagree, and I certainly won’t mind if things stay as they are (except for the comment feature, which I fear will become an increasing irritant over time).

Personally, I don't think a threaded forum is necessary, as we're quite capable of have very good discussions just as is.

The only minor tweak I could see doing now would be the comments on posts.

While I do think it's a good idea in theory, the reality is that it's just to easy to miss someone commenting on your post.

I say just make a new post and highlight the text from that persons post your commenting on.

Oh, and an edit function would be nice a well, but I'm not gonna push my luck here.

Threaded Posts: Yeah, what Howie said. Threads would make sense if we were routinely deluged with posts on myriad topics. Maybe someday this site will be like that, but that's not been the history. I like the sequential nature of posts from the older site, and I'm hoping that the comment feature is not overused; too multi-linear for my aging brain and I've probably already missed a few posts.

Also, I'm wondering what it takes to moderate and/or administer a site with threads. Another site that I've frequented seems to have volunteer members who each handle a particular topic. Judging by the results, the volunteers appear to not have to work for a living and have no other pressing matters to attend to. Show of hands: how many people here fit that description?

Yik, I am a moderater at Stakedamsels forum site with threads and all I do is check my E-mail everyday to OK new members into the site to help out SD's workload and I do have watch out for SPAM and members posting comments and pictures that are rude and disrespectful of other member's beliefs and fantasies. Here Ralphus does all that because it's one post at a time here and no 6 or 7 sections to check everyday so it's easier and NO passwords to check and to OK daily. Bill K.

Guys, you all make great points. And let me stress I haven't made up my mind either way. And for those of you who say it's my decision, I really want whatever will make you guys happy. This board belongs to all of you, I just maintain it.

As for making this a vote, I think you guys are doing a great job stating your respective viewpoints. For what it's worth, I count 9 votes so far from people who basically like the forum the way it is, with the comments section really their only concern. So far Margot, TRG, Mr. Bush, Rick, Flintstone, Covers, Bill K, Howie and YikYakker have posted in favor of the guestbook, while Scribbler, Canadian, Fritz and Osouk prefer a threaded board. I asked Amy via e-mail this morning which one she personally preferred, and she said the threaded board. So that would make it 9-5. So right now, we're still divided, although a majority like the current setup. I hope the discussion will continue.

The first thing I'm gonna do, and this might disappoint some of you, is make sure we keep the comments that have already been made on respective posts, and then turn off the comments feature. Of course, this doesn't mean we can't comment on past posts, but we'll do it in new posts like we've done for the past 15 years, so anything new will show up at the top and not be missed. Honestly, that's the main bugaboo that started this whole debate, and I think that will solve most of the issues we have here.

It doesn't mean the possibility of a threaded forum is off the books. Amy has said she'll build a new one if we desire it, and we very well might in the future. The thing is, I don't think it's imperative right now. Let's get settled in here and see how things go. I don't think the board was broken before; we've had close to 15 pretty successful years, and the only thing that's changed is that it's now a lot easier for people to post here. I think that's a positive change.

After reading Howie's latest post, I discovered one of the neat things about the new look of this forum is you can enlarge a pic and play a YouTube video at the same time. Which allows you to create your own new backdrop. So I was able to look at an image of Candle Boxxx being tortured in the background while Tom Petty was singing "the waiting is the hardest part" at the same time in the corner of the screen. And this is what I ended up with. Kinda cool.

Rick, I can guarantee that I will be a Shadow Army customer on day one.. My least favorite of your ZFX productions were better than most of the best of what was available elsewhere in those years.

I will also say that I and a fair number of our Forum colleagues are, I believe, "keep-it-real" GIMPERS. My favorite productions, be they ZFX classics like Forced Entry or Monterey Productions' Ginger series, are those where I can say ....."hey, it could happen". So here is hoping that for every ravishing of Candle by an apparition or other supernatural pervert, there is another by your average mean guy who wants to do a number on an innocent lovely.

One possible advantage of a threaded forum is it may open up opportunities for discussion that we don't necessarily want in the current format.

An obvious example might be a "political" section. In the past, whenever we have veered into politics, it was felt that the discussions ultimately distracted from the prime directive, which is discussions of films, artwork and stories depicting women in merciless peril (or "girls," if you're fussy about the acronym).

On a threaded board, the people who want to debate politics could do so while those who prefer to pontificate about Ms. Boxxx's implants and other matters are free to avoid the political debates.

That said, while I lean towards the threads format, I don't have strong feelings about it. The traditional format has served us well, in my view.

It seems that here in this forum the most adored movie of yours are those playing in the Dark Middle Ages, but for me Martyr is the real one. It's so powerful. There's one scene which even inspired me during writing the script of Mood Pictures' latest movie Fear. I think nobody would point out which scene of yours inspired which scene of ours, but I felt I had to admit that this was the case...

Anyway, I receive a lot of inspiration from this board too. (I mean from you guys, and also from the pictures and videos you include in your posts). The fruit of these inspiration is the latest ElitePain release which is completely different from our former videos. It is a fake documentary film. Actually this is going to be a series called 'History of Pain' and the title of this episode is 'Spy Interrogation'.

If this episode will be successful (and it seems to be so, seeing the sales of the first hours) we plan to make episodes about different eras and situation. For example Middle Ages, Inquisition, Asian Tortures, Slave punishments, etc. I would be really happy to read what your thoughts are, which era or situation interests you the most. If you pick any, also please include what kind of tortures/punishments would you see in connection with that era/situation. We plan to include at least 8-10 different torture methods in each episode. Thank you for your contribution in advance!

This looks like a great idea and many here will want this (these) titles. However, I will not see them. I doublechecked your site while thinking about a post about the cost. Then I saw you raised prices!

Clearly you are doing well enough to keep adding product so you must be doing pretty well. Congrats!

In truth I am not your real audience (though I was for most of my life). But purely from a business standpoint, you might want to consider a price point analysis. If you cut the price 10% will additional unit sales net more than the lost 10%? This includes costs (per each order). You should check some other numbers to the extent feasible.

If you are using price to deter piracy, then that may be equal to/more important than unit sales.

But financially, charging a little less might end up being financially rewarding. Not too much, though. After all you want to remain elite (In both senses of the word).

Dan: Thanks for the advices. Actually we haven't raised our prices ever, but we are experiencing with lowering the prices. Initially we sold all ElitePain titles for 39,95 EUR, but these days we have lowered some movies' prices to 29,95 EUR or lower. Isn't it the USD-EUR exchange rate which made you believe we changed our prices?

Now let's get back to the aforementioned naked chick. I saw the new Elite Pain video History of Pain - Spy Interrogaton last night and was blown away! Not a perfect film by any means, mainly because of the casting (tattoo freaks) but there were 2 outstanding scenes, both of which I'll highlight here in the days to come. One is where the blonde is given electroshock torture and fried for several minutes,which would be worth the price of the video right there. And the other scene is a long, wonderfully dramatic sequence toward the end where a totally innocent cutie (thankfully with no tats this time) is GAGGED and spread out and savagely whipped, while her sister cries and pleads for the abuse to end. Hot stuff, to be sure, and hey, I thought the folks at Mood Pictures/Elite Pain didn't like gags! They picked a good time to change their mind on this one. I was so inspired I went ahead and made some caps. I think you guys are gonna like this one.

I also direct films, I'm now on my fourth, and I ride horses, and motorcycles. Thank you, Pedro. I'm happy that our films are an inspiration. I love Martyr! When I saw it in a film festival in Oruro, Bolivia, it made me want to stick around and make films with Jac. The result is an ongoing, and growing body of work.

*Gasp* *Gasp* *Cough, cough* Geez, I've been holding my breath over here ever since the old forum went down! Now that Amy has come to our rescue, I can finally inhale - exhale - inhale - exhale my creative side of life.

Ok, on to things.

1) I'm digging this new forum. Whatever format you go with, it's going to be leaps and bounds better than the old one. Of course, I'll still have to rely on Ralphus to host some of the screencaps in my reviews, but at least I can get one free pic without troubling him. In fact, here, have one! It's the only decent scene in the movie "Confessions of Sex Slaves". More on that in a bit.

2) Speaking of movies, I really like the trailer and stills from the new Mood Pictures series beginning with "Spy Interrogation". From what I can see two of my favorite things are back: Gigi Weiss as a blonde, and the vertical frame with chain-link fencing from "Milgram Experiment". That's sold me on the movie right there, and it looks like there's some new talent in the form of a brunette that I'm looking forward to seeing more of soon. Look for my review soon.

3) Ever watch an old 70's movie and think "Wow, did they really think that would be shocking?" Well, that's my reaction to a film called "Confessions of Sex Slaves", a German (I think) film that attempted to shock its audience with a tale of pretty young girls hooked on smack and forced to do immoral things, like walk around naked, perform oral sex, and - shocking! - get slapped around a little. Well, considering that in Amsterdam during that period you could find women willing to do all that without having to spend your hard-earned money getting them hooked on black tar heroin first (an expensive and dangerous operation), this cautionary tale loses its edge. And, to be honest, the only really erotic part of the whole thing comes in the last three seconds of the film, when an attractive brunette is chained spreadeagle to a St. Andrew's cross and threatened with a menacing sword while others look on; probably to imply that it's a snuff film and she's about to get whacked. Nowadays, you can fake snuff fairly easily - just check out [www.sexy-amazons.com] or [www.fantasy-babes.de] for girls being stabbed, shot, sliced, or speared in scenes that could be convincing if you're the kind of person that needs to be convinced. Which brings up my next topic.

4) Inspiration. Pedro admitted that a scene in Jac Avila's films inspired him in one of his films. That's great! It's that sort of cross-pollination that furthers the genre and keeps things fresh. Just when you thought the women-in-prison genre was dead, along comes Bound Heat to infuse some new ideas in an old concept. So, going back to "Confessions of Sex Slaves", what if someone really did take that last scene and expound upon it? What if you took that scene as the opening of the movie, show the model/victim get snuffed, and as the blood drains from her body she (and the audience) reflect back on the circumstances that brought about her demise. Now THAT would be a shocking film, because you already know how it ends and along the way, when the character is at a decisive cross-roads, you would want to yell "Don't do it!". Think about it. If you had known five years ago what you would be doing right now, what choices would you have made differently? Now what if it led to your death? Kind of makes you wonder a bit.

5) While the forum was down, I caught "Graphic Sexual Horror", the documentary about the old Insex website. Amazing stuff. It pretty much details how the greatest force in bondage torture online movie clips came to be, the risks he faced, how much the models were involved, and pretty much how the industry changed as a result. If you're curious about such things, I recommend giving it a viewing.

Ok, so there you go. Two thumbnail movie reviews and some reflections on things in general. Heck, I'm so hopped up on adrenaline right now, I just might have to make a second posting just to show another picture.

Ok, here it is. The last scene in "Confessions of Sex Slaves". Surely someone could make a movie out of just this image alone, about each of the people in the room and what exactly the woman behind the cross is doing on her knees.

I, too, enjoy the images that Covers is posting up of the old pulp novel artwork. It's interesting to me how the concept of the ideal woman has changed in physical appearance in just the last 50 years. It's also interesting how much of a story can be told in just one image. Maybe it's the emotional impact of the piece. Sort of like this still, which I don't know if its from a movie or just a series of stills, but I like the defiant/angry/shocked look of the model. And of course, a light sheen of sweat from physical exertion helps, too.

I watched "Spy Interrogation" last night and a bit again this morning. I enjoyed some parts, others not so much. I'll bang out a review and post it up in the next few days, but generally, to be honest, I thought "Milgram Experiment" had psychological horror and "Fear" had better emotional impact. This film, though, limited by its documentary format, is what History Channel (and similar producers) should be putting out for a real education in man's inhumanity to man. As for GIMP material, the final scene (and the corresponding "Making Of" piece) is as strong as I've ever seen in any Mood or ElitePain piece, and that includes the opening torture scene in "Fear". Most of that is due to the casting of "Nancy" as the sister being tortured because... well, you'll have to wait for my review. But I will say that she's my new favorite Mood model. After all, what's not to like about an innocent-looking girl-next-door cutie with a smile like that and a scream that will shake your bones?

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! So glad that the forum is back! Thank Goodness! Thank you Ralphus and Amy and everyone else involved in getting it back! Now it's our turn to get our Bunny Bound site going again! It will happen soon...Promise!

That's a challenging statement. Certainly it's the best mainstream one I've seen in the past few years. But ever? I'll have to give that one some thought. Pedro, the one type of torture scenes and era I would like to see in movies is the Roman Coliseum tortures of Christian women. We know they did brutally torture women to death in the arenas to the cheers of thousands Romans by true history accounts but there are no movies showing it that I know of.

This new movie Pompeii will of course show men being tortured or killing each other but will they show them doing the same to women? I'll let Gimpers know for I'm going see it tonight or tomorrow.

I know Goddess Amy has been crucified but not in the Roman era and style. That's my take on your question. Roman torture methods haven't been talked about much in the past at the forum too. Bill K.

Ralphus, I stand corrected, I know nothing of Bangkok Hilton, I was thinking of the god awful Brokedown Palace. Kidman was decent in Birthday Girl.

I do think that poll question is a good one.

I personally never find non-mainstream gimp whether it be Giga, Attackers on the Jap side or some of the western producers to be as satisfying or as a well done as good mainstream. I don't know if it's budget, quality of the players, or looks. The problem with most mainstream gimp is that the movies aren't gimp movies, they just have gimp scenes.

This is one thing that I Spit on Your Grave 2 has is that it is one continuous gimp fest, I even found Jemma sexy in the revenge scenes although that kind of thing rarely turns me on.

The other thing that made ISOYG2 work was Jemma was not only believable, she portrayed resistance with vulnerability, and while hot, there was a bit of girl next door naturalness to her looks. In many of the superhero JV stuff, a girl who is beating up 5 guys at a time isn't even held down during rape.

To me what makes mainstream work is believability. One of the biggest turn offs in the non-mainstream gimp world (and thank god Red Feline avoids it) is the projection of consensual agreement into the movie. Jap AV is full of it.

Thanks for the leads, YikYakker and Bunny. I found the movie "Hellbound: Hellraiser II" on Youtube in its entirety, though the screen formatting lopped off the top and bottom. Compare the above image with the one I first posted. It sucks, because you can't see the intimidating chains that are binding her wrists so evilly. Oh well.

To set the scene, the evil mother is being brought back from the grave, and thanks to a bloodthirsty doctor, she's managed to regenerate most of her body by killing captive patients, except she still needs skin. So, the doctor has kidnapped this fair beauty so that the skinless evil mother can suck the life-force out of the GIMP and get her flesh. Or something like that. The actress playing the unfortunate GIMP is uncredited on IMDB.

This is not as easy to answer as I thought. At first I was going to say, "Medieval Inquisition" since it has the classic tortures of rack, suspension, needle-impalement, hot irons, metal pincers, whipping, and such. Given the production limitations of Mood Pictures, it would be easy to simulate (or reproduce realistically) most of these on a darkened stage with minimal equipment.

But then I thought of the Romans and how they loved to crucify runaway rebel slaves like those that followed Spartacus, and of course the early Christians. How cool would it be for Mood to crucify "Nancy" after subjecting her to the whip? There's an entire forum dedicated to that genre over at [www.cruxfoundation.com] that the Red Feline folks follow from time to time. Max Coxxx has posted his crux ads over there, too. Maybe it's time Mood Pictures added a real cross to its inventory of furniture. In the context of a documentary format, Dr. Aziz could explain the effects of the position on the human body and how it was used in Greece and Turkey, with inserts of a Mood model being suspended "captive POW" style for medical experiments. The evil doctor could periodically step forward and check for heart beat as the victim hangs from the cross and a clock counts the hours. Then, finally, the victim slumps down for the last time and the doctor declares her "dead". Notes are made in a file and the screen fades to black, then on to the next torture on a new victim: caning of the feet. Or needle play. Or pussy whipping. Or spun on a wheel (which is still one of my favorite scenes in "Caged Women").

Adventure was published from April 1953 to October 1970 by Popular and New Publications. Painted covers lasted until 1965. Unfortunately, this title didn't understand the value of a good bondage cover, and only published three (of which I am aware) in seventeen years.

Reading Gog's post and seeing the film clip that was attached got me to thinking a bit more about Pedro's solicitation for story ideas for the "History of Torture" documentary that Mood Pictures is doing. I would still like to see a "clinical study" theme of an unfortunate subject being crucified - it certainly would be within the Mood Pictures budget since all they would need to build is the cross; the lab coats, etc. they already have - but the more I thought about the Inquisition and witches, the more I got to thinking that this might be the next movie Mood should do.

In Gog's clip of the Avengers' episode "Murdersville", we see a woman forced to wear the Scold's Bridle. What a great invention! It's like a gag and a punishment all in one! So why not start a study of the Inquisition with that? It's a light warm-up to what comes later - the rack. When you consider all of the medieval devices available to Inquisitors, doing a study of the tortures of the Inquisition almost writes itself. First the accused witch is forced to wear the Scold's Bridle so that she can't utter incantations. Then she's forced into a metal cage so that she can't conjure evil spirits. Then comes the Spanish Horse and a whipping. After that, she's taken to the rack and threatened with a final, long agonizing torture, which, since she's not cooperating, she is finally forced to do.

I've always believed that there's a certain intimacy between the victim and her torturer. The person working the machine has total control over the victim; he (since they're usually male) can bring her (since we're talking about GIMPs) relief from her agony or absolute pain. He literally holds her life in his hands. But he is not evil - he sincerely believes that he is doing what the Church and State want him to do. He is simply God's hands in ferreting out Satan wherever the devil may lurk. Therefore, we see a man doing evil in the name of Good against a good person he believes to be Evil. The victim's world is similarly small - there is only herself, her torturer, and her pain. She knows she will continue to suffer for as long as she refuses to do what the torturer wants her to do. In this small world of two people and their righteousness, we need to only see the two players and the instrument. We don't need to see castle walls, or bars of cells, or other such backsets. That stage can be very, very small.

To do a rack scene right, you need to allow a lot of camera time to the preparation of the act of stretching. You must build drama before the first crank of the wheel. We must see the victim's introduction to the device, her reaction (fear or defiance or a mix of both), then her stripping, then her being attached to the machine, then the long, slow winding of the axle to which the chains holding her are attached. As the chains are drawn in and wrapped around the wheel, so are we as viewers brought closer to the act of torture. We must see both the tension on the chains and the tension on the body. To sell the scene, the model should be very expressive with her emotions. Screaming, crying, twisting her muscles as she tries to absorb the strain on her body. These are critical to making a good rack scene work.

In the vidcaps I attached above, we see the steps taken to secure the victim to the rack. The camera pans over her body, allowing us the visual intimacy shared with the torturer. The victim is exposed and helpless, allowing us to study her body. She has very little control over anything that is going to happen, other than to give a confession. This intimacy is not freely given; it is taken by us as observers to the act. A good rack scene must allow for this voyeurism; the camera must linger to allow us to take it all in. So too, the victim is forced to allow us to observe and as we do so, it adds to her shame and her fear and her worry. If her fear is strong enough - or her resolve weak enough - simply waiting for the torture to begin might be all it takes to extract a confession.

But our victim is determined to prove her innocence. Or she simply has no chance to prevent the torture. Either way, next I will post up the initial tightening of the rack, which is sort of Act Two in using the rack as an effective torture device.

I absolutely loved Elite Pain's History of Pain: Spy Interrogations. I would suggest a follow up with types of tortures that are unique to certain geographic regions. Continue the documentary style then take viewers to South America where they show a woman being placed in the Parrot's Perch and tortured with electricity and whips. Then to Middle East, where a woman receives bastinado or falaka or is sentenced to caning. Maybe go to China and show the Tiger's Bench and bastinado.

The victim has been secured to the rack, ready for the next stage of her torture. She could confess or she could be defiant. She is in peril of terrible pain that will start slowly and gradually increase. She knows this.

When I first saw this clip, I watched it like a voyeur. I got an emotional and sexual charge from the act I was seeing. Then I watched it again, this time with a studious eye, noticing things I had missed the first time through, like how the victim squirmed and tugged against her bonds with just enough reluctance to emote nonconsensual torture but not really enough to jeopardize the act itself. I then began to wrap a story around the clip with the idea that maybe I might write something in the future, using this clip as inspiration. The story I conceived was very similar to what Mood Pictures is contemplating - a documentary on the use of torture. My story was something like this:

A man offers coursework to sadists and military interrogators on the use of instruments of torture. For this installment, he has brought out a slave (indicated by her collar) submitted for the demonstration by her master (his mark is on her thigh, as he marks all of his sex slaves), a third-party to the piece, possibly a customer or just a friend. The slave is afraid of being tortured so she resists having her legs bound, but she is a slave and knows her place, so she allows herself to be bound although reluctantly. Once she is in place, she is merely a test subject; nothing more.

The teacher then demonstrates the use of the rack; how to sloooowly turn the windlass to maximize the fear building up in the victim, then when the chains start to tighten, how to crank the wheel even slower to allow the natural elasticity of the human body to adapt to the tension of the chains. Once the victim has initial tension on her body, the torturer can play with her a bit, to show her that she is helpless to protect herself. He can do anything he wants to her. His fingers trace a line along her skin, drawing our attention to specific places on her arms, her breasts, and between her thighs. He slaps her genitals, drawing a reaction. Then he slaps her mound of Venus again, just to show that he can. She turns her head, knowing she's helpless to prevent him from abusing her. He fondles her a bit more, playing with her body, squeezing her breasts and tickling her nipples, then he works his way back towards the terrible crank located far above her head where she can't see.

Then comes the final stretching, which I will get to next.

The third segment of "Rose Racked" by ShadowPlayers.Com

Now we come to the final chapter of "Rose Racked", in which the victim, already taut on the rack, is given her final stretches.

In the previous set of vidcaps, we saw Rose attached to the machine, then tightened and fondled. Now we enter the most dangerous - and albeit most exciting - part of the action. This is also the part that proves to us as the critical viewer that what we're seeing is real.

First, notice how the hands were attached to the machine. Rose is wearing leather bondage bracelets around her wrists and the heavy metal manacles of the machine are then fastened farther up her arm, so that when the tension is applied the heavy metal will be pulling on the softer leather. This is to prevent damage to the hand. Leather will "give" around a bone to evenly distribute the torsional stress. Metal won't. Localized stress is bad; distributed stress isn't.

Second, notice how, despite the bondage leather wrist cuffs, her hands are turning purple. This is somewhat normal and not very dangerous provided circulation isn't cut off for very long. A slight tingling for a few minutes after the victim is released, but nothing permanent. However, if left like this for very long, neurological damage can occur.

Third, notice how the level of the chains has risen from the last montage of vidcaps to this one. This is evidence that greater stress has indeed been placed on Rose. In the first row of this third set of caps, the torturer tightens the winch one notch. On the second row, he tightens it a second notch and we can see the effect the stress has on Rose's disposition. I tried to capture the range of facial emotions she made when the cog slipped into the notch on the wheel. On the third row, he's tightened it a third notch, and you can see the immediate effect of the pain. She's now at her limit, and the clip ends shortly after this point.

If this were a true interrogation, the inquisitor would have relaxed the tension and let her recover momentarily. The blood flow would have caused her muscles to ache and she would be very much aware of her predicament. Dan Hawke once put Liz Tyler on a rack and tightened it up and forced her to orgasm. She later remarked that, initially, the tension wasn't bad up until she orgasmed. Afterwards, when her body relaxed, the tension was "scary". In a true interrogation, I suspect the same would be true to someone stretched, then relaxed, then stretched, then relaxed. The ache would increase with each additional stretching.

So, going panel by panel. Panel 1: starting tension. Panel 2: tightened one notch. Panel 3: reaction. Panel 4: tightened a second notch. Panel 5: reaction. Panel 6, 7, and 8: letting the stress take its toll. Panel 9: the windlass being turned a third notch. Panel 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14: range of emotions as she feels her body beginning to surrender to the pull of the chains. Panel 15: Closing shot. My guess is she used a safe word after this.

My point in all of this is, if you're going to do a rack scene, make is real as possible, even if you're just faking for the sake of safety. Racks take up a lot of room and require a bit of space. In "Rose Racked" there was a camera mounted above the victim, looking down, and this angle should definitely be included in filming the scene. It's dramatic and gives a good sense of the victim's body's positioning. Have a camera a) over the victim, b) at the head where the windlass is located, and c) at an angle where we can form a good 3D special interpretation of the placement of the victim on the rack, the space occupied by the torturer, and the viewer's perspective within the room.

Sorry Gimpers there was not a single gimp scene or action in "Pompeii" at all. No nudity at all either. Special effects were very good and the acting was good but no Roman orgies, no torture or rape of women at all. Just men killing each other mostly in the arena as Pompeii was being destroyed by volcano ash, fiery lava rocks and the final blast of fiery ash cloud. Movie worth seeing if you like muscle bound guys (a chick movie) and the volcano erupting scenes and the action was very good too. Bill K.

Thomas Chaser, thanks for posting "Rose Racked". I used to own that one before my hard drive crashed a few years ago. I have to say, it is the most realistically done rack scene I have ever seen, and you can tell she is suffering for real. It's too bad I've never come across anything even remotely close to this. The problem with doing a realistic rack scene is that it is incredibly dangerous. Poor Rose here was maybe two turns away from a trip to the ER and possibly permanent damage. Alas, to portray it even more realistically, you'd need CGI or special effects wizardry of the type which is beyond the budget of ZFX-type fare. Or you could get lucky with someone who is both beautiful and a good enough actress to really sell the pain, so you don't have to risk injuring her for real. Other than the incredible Lana Clarkson (who sold her rack scenes incredibly well, in spite of her being strapped to them at an angle which could not possibly cause her the agony she conveys), I've not come across such an actress.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a question for the group. Did the lady in question tied to the bed frame in the picture above get a little of the juice to enhance her performance, or did she have to imagine what that would be like and "act" accordingly? Thoughts?

I really like the Medieval Inquisition period, since there were so many creative tortures from that era, many of which were covered extremely well in Maleficarum. And of course, the Inquisition Live people made a entire production company out of that genre, with varying success. It doesn't mean it's been exhausted, though. The rack, branding, the horse, gosh, there are so many. This website might give you an idea of a few you could implement.

That's a good question. I want to know the answer, too. I haven't seen a lot of Elite Pain vids, but I know the whippings are definitely real. So what about the electricity? Her reactions were extremely realistic. She looked to be in genuine pain. Of course, it's easy to fake electroshock if your actress knows how to emote.

Here's a production question: In the "making of" extras, she is bit-gagged while they're applying the wires, so why not in the actual scene? A lot of times prisoners are gagged during electro-torture to prevent them from biting their tongues.

Haha, I answer this question, but this will imply the answer to the original question too.

So here is the answer: We had two circuits. (two pair of red-black wires).
We definitely wanted to wire her pussy. So we had only one circuit for the tits. If we wired the red one to one tit and the black one to the other tit, then there had been a chance of electricity going through the heart. (which is at least dangerous) The way we hooked it up on one of her tits it was not risky for her heart. One circuit through her pussy, another through one of her tits, and we hadn't left a third one. (the device could operate only two circuits at a time). Now did we use real juice or didn't we?
In my opinion those producers who wire both tits onto one circuit are either making a simulated electro torture scene or if they do it real, they are doing a very dangerous thing. (though I am not an expert as Dr Aziz)

Hofrax - I'm digging that screen name by the way - I agree completely. Nobody could sell a torture scene like the incomparable Lana Clarkson. In my opinion, she saved "Barbarian Queen" from going the way of "Sword of the Barbarian" and all the other "Conan" one-offs.

I posted up the three "Rose Racked" scenes for the benefit of the movie-makers out there looking for source material to study to make a rack scene realistic - something to show their models/actresses as study material. Was the rack scene in BQ1 realistic? No, but Lana Clarkson was such a great talent that we didn't care. It was close enough that she sold us on the action and we let our willing suspension of disbelief cover the rest of the gap between fake and real. And, of course, Tony Middleton was such a great villain/torturer that he made the scene complete. A torture scene with a beautiful actress is good, but a torture scene with a good villain is great. Not to knock "Maleficarum", but the equation wasn't there; that rack scene lacked something and that something was an over-the-top villain that relished his role. Tony Middleton was almost a caricature and that gave the scene a sort of comic relief - he even had a Rube Goldberg machine to use on her. How crazy wild is that? At the same time, Lana was playing her role seriously dramatic, and it was that interplay - the intimacy between a straight victim and a comedic torturer - that made those characters work. I didn't get that from "Maleficarum". There just wasn't that connection between the actors.

Another example: "Poor Cecily", another classic rack scene. In that movie, one of the torturers (the principle one that works over the blonde witch in the first racking) is sweaty and shirtless and wearing an eye-patch and does the leering, breath-through-the-mouth thing that makes his character so ridiculously stereotypically evil. Not that the movie ever won any awards or ever will, but that scene is a classic rack scene because the characters work. It's the silent-movie villain all over again. Even the "Rose Racked" guy was (unintentionally) funny, with his pot belly, oversized glasses, and "I live in my mom's basement but I consider myself a badass anyway" hairstyle. I think, had Eric Calancha embraced his role a bit more, maybe added odd glasses or an eye patch or a ridiculous jagged scar across his face to bring some levity to the scene, it would have worked better. You can get as rough as you want in a scene, so long as you wink from time to time.

Ralphus - if you want to turn my three "Rose Racked" posts into a review, great! I'm sure others would benefit from knowing it's out there. My grade would be A++ in terms of emotional impact and value for the dollar. Rose certainly earned her pay that day.

And let me also add that I'm really enjoying the ability to add pictures to my somewhat random posts. Thanks Amy!

Silvio Dante: That's a great pulp cover, but it's as bogus as Sasquatch. First off, despite a legion of publications such as Man's Story, Man's Epic, Man's World, Man's Action, Man's Illustrated, Man's Exploits and over twenty (!) other Man's [Noun] titles, I can find no mention of a “Man's Report.” Second, MAMs stopped selling for 35 cents in 1970, back when the space shuttle was just a highly classified gleam in some NASA engineer's eye. And then there's that dodgy rope-work. Still, as a fake, it's pretty damn good.

But I have to wonder what's behind this one. Most MAM covers are manipulated to add more nudity and/or violence. This is the first fake I've seen which simply recompiles and modifies the content to create a cover which could well have existed in 1969 – at least if the shuttle was flying then. In part that's why it is so convincing.

So, Mr. Dante… what's the story? Were you, as an artist, inspired to create an homage? At the very least, it's got something to do with this …

Some random thoughts:

To the person who was disappointed that there are no "Christian burnings" in the movie "Pompeii"; for the historical record, the Emperor at the time, Titus, did not persecute the Christians, or anyone else for that matter, something that makes him quite rare in Roman history.
The Jews do not like Titus however because, before he was proclaimed Emperor, he was the Roman military commander who successfully crushed the uprising in Judea generally known as the "Jewish War" and imposed a solution final enough to last 1900 years, on them.

Reference the question about nipple torture - Yes; running one lead to one nipple and the other lead to the other nipple is DEADLY DANGEROUS. It is very commonly seen in unprofessional videos, but as we not read about trials for the murder of models in the mainstream news afterwards, clearly, the current is only simulated.

Finally, my personal congratulations to the model/actress who did the electrical interrogation scenes in the 'History of Pain' video, for her courage.

Thank you, Lynn for the information on Titus not persecuting the Christians and there being no Christian burnings in the Pompeii era. I wasn't looking for Christian gimp burning, which would have been a nice erotic surprise, but more of the whipping, crucifying and rape the Romans were known for.
The movie storyline took liberties with historical facts of the destruction of Pompeii to include arena gladiators battles while the volcano eruption was destroying Pompeii. Based on previews of the storyline I was thinking it should have had one or two gimp scenes which it didn't have. Keifer Sutherland roughing up the star actress and rocks falling on large groups of people were all the gimp to be seen. Bill K.

History of Pain – Spy Interrogation by ElitePain.Com

A Review by Thomas Chaser

“For thousands of years, people have been tortured…”

So begins the first installment of what ElitePain.Com promises to be a series of documentary-style films that will examine man’s inhumanity to his fellow man (or for this installment, women). Each film will express one particular aspect of torture, either by time period or by concept – the Inquisition, plantation slavery, and war camps are suggested in the introductory segment. “Spy Interrogation” is exactly what this film is about – the techniques employed by military, police, and others to extract information from their adversaries. To lend the film credibility, the producers have turned to a former interrogator identified only as “Sgt. M.G.” and Dr. Sandra Aziz, a medical expert, both of whom cover the psychological and physical aspects of the methodology of torture.

Sgt. M.G. gives his expertise in such a way that we never see his face. Backlit, all we see is the silhouette of his head in a dark room. His voice is also electronically modulated, making positive identification even more difficult. On the other hand, Dr. Sandra Aziz presents her material much like you would expect in an interview – well lit, clearly spoken, and succinctly informative. Are these individuals real? If they aren't, then they are really good actors and somebody did a lot of good research to make their dialogue convincing. Most of what they say matches what I learned in my “Crime and Punishment” courses in criminology, so while you're watching this, just remember that you can get college credit, too!

Psychological techniques are discussed first, covering the simple tricks police can use to fool a suspect into divulging information without leaving any marks on the suspect’s body. From there, we're taken through the more physical forms of interrogation, beginning with the forced stripping of the prisoner as a way to emphasize the power the police have over her, and to shame her into accepting their dominance. This act of stripping the victim can be enhanced through the use of sexual abuse, and in the film the suspect is forced to strip and then to finger herself in front of her captors.



Gigi Weiss portrays the captive in this segment. I loved her in “Milgram Experiment” and even more so in “Fear” when she went back to her blonde hair color. Here, in this segment, she’s either a really good method actress or she’s lost a scary amount of healthy weight, because she almost looks sickly. Don't get me wrong – she’s still hot, particularly in the whipping segment later – but my first thought when I saw her in this film was “eating disorder” or perhaps “drug abuser”. Hopefully she can get some muscle back for the next segment of the “History of Pain” series. She’s one of my favorite Mood/ElitePain models and it'd be a shame to lose her.



Next up is the technique of sleep deprivation, as a way to disorient the prisoner and break down her willpower. In this case, it’s Ivette Bata, who throughout this movie will be used to express the more emotional scenes. You may remember her as the final captive in the horror film “Fear”, where she looked far more mainstream than she does here. In my opinion, she looked better in “Fear” simply because she didn't openly display her piercings and tattoos. That aside, I will give her credit as an actress. She turns in a credible performance and I can see her going on to bigger things some day (but her options will be limited if she keeps getting pierced and tatted up).

After that comes exposure to cold weather, dousing with water, and dunking the head in a barrel of water. The first two are certainly real. You can see Bata’s breath as she hangs from a rope, clad only in her underwear, and Weiss certainly is being sprayed with water. The third technique – dunking the head in a barrel – could have been done better. For one thing, I would have used the Vietnamese style of roping, where the wrists are tied and then another rope is passed around the torso to pin the arms to the sides of the body. This enhances the restriction of the captive. The other thing I didn't like about this scene is that – like electro-torture – it is easy to fake. While we are to believe that the guard is forcing Bata’s head into the barrel, it’s just as easy for the guard to grab Bata’s head and let Bata pull her hand into the barrel so that it looks like Bata is being pushed. If the producers really wanted to make this dramatic, the guard should have locked her arm through Bata’s elbows, put her hand on the back of Bata’s head, and pushed her whole torso into the water so that the captive is off-balance and reliant on the guard to pull her back out. To make things worse, the scene goes on longer than it needs to, and at one point the captive uses the water to spit on her interrogator. Like we've never seen that before…



Tell me you couldn't break out of this if you really wanted. Right?

If there’s one saving grace about this part, it’s that the interrogator doesn't haul off and backhand her, which is the typical response used in so many movies. Instead, he simply orders her to be dunked again. That’s very professional of him.

I will also say that Bata does a very good job of acting defiant, then frightened, then defiant as she runs the spectrum of emotions. She truly is a find for Mood/ElitePain and I'd love to see her again in a future film, possibly as an evil interrogator. She’s been a captive twice now, so maybe she should try her hand at playing the evil side of the captive/captor equation. In a way, I'm glad that she doesn't turn in any nude scenes, because she’s an actress I would not want to see naked. Did I mention the tats and piercings? She might make a very convincing punk-rock vampire-like henchwoman. She’s also underweight, but maybe that’s a fashion thing in eastern Europe now.

Next we get to the good parts.

Electro-torture.

Weiss is the victim this time, strapped to a metal bedframe and wired up to a generator controlled by Mandy Tortega, who played a henchwoman in “Fear” as well as the “qualified executioner” in “The Milgram Experiment”. For an evil-doer, you couldn't ask for one lovelier. It’s hard to believe that someone with such a beautiful face would be capable of zapping a human being with volts of electricity, but she does. After Dr. Aziz educates us on the finer points of electrical charges passing through a human body, we get to see the machine in use.



If you're a fan of electro-torture, you'll love this scene. You'll eat it up. You'll go to bed thinking about it and wake up in the morning wanting to watch it again. On the way to work you'll be glad you saved a copy to your smartphone so you can watch it while you sit in traffic. It’s that good. It'll be all you can do not to tell your cubicle neighbor “Dude, I saw the most intense thing last night. Here, let me show you.” Yes, it’s smartphone good. It’s beyond smartphone good. It’s cubicle neighbor good.

Credit to Gigi Weiss for enduring a) laying on a metal bedframe without a mattress, which hurts because if you've never done it, you don't want to, and b) giving an outstanding performance while being zapped with juice. And I should point out that, other than head-dunking-in-water being the most easily torture to fake, electricity-to-the genitals is the second-easiest to fake. So is it real? Well, there’s the shaky camera shots, the sound of electricity popping, and a blonde woman stripped naked, stretched out, and moaning. If it’s real, it’s hot. If it’s fake, it’s still hot.

After something like that, we need a break, so Dr. Aziz treats us to the technique of a mock execution. It’s slow and there’s no nudity, so you don't really miss anything important. You can pour yourself a drink here. By the time you get back, you'll be ready to see the whippings.

Yes, plural.

First up is Weiss in one of my favorite positions on one of my favorite Mood/ElitePain restraints – the standing-spreadeagle-against-the-chainlink-fencing frame that was used so well in “The Milgram Experiment”. Dr. Aziz educates us on the technique of effective whipping, and then Weiss is the poor model that gets whipped.



I'll admit that I loved this scene. I love it more here than I did in “The Milgram Experiment” because Weiss looks so much better without the pink hair dye. She’s lovely here and really shows us what she can handle in terms of physical punishment. She takes ten lashes as a warm-up, then twenty, and then Mandy Tortega is replaced by the Man himself, “Max Lomp”, who takes her even further into the House of Pain.



If I have one complaint about this scene, it’s the intentionally shaky third camera, which tries to impart dramatic tension with fade-ins and fade-outs and drifting clumsily around the scene. That style doesn't work here. One camera is stationary at an angle, another is fixed to shoot from behind the victim, and this third camera is the “free roamer”. If you're going to roam, at least be in focus so we can see what the hell is going on.

You can fake dunking. You can fake electro-shock. You can even fake a whipping. But this, ladies and gentlemen, is absolutely real. We see the whip impact the body. We see the victim recoil and yelp. Then we see the red welt rise from the skin where the whip has kissed the flesh.



This is what the after-effects of a whipping look like.

ElitePain could have ended the movie right there and we would've been satisfied that we'd gotten our money’s worth. The lesson would've been over and we would've said, “Well, that was nice.” But no. It’s not over yet. What’s worse than being a victim enduring a whipping?

Watching a loved one being whipped in your stead.

Bata, blindfolded, is brought out and directed to stand in a particular place. Her blindfold is removed and she sees that it is not her, but her younger sister, cuffed to the same metal frame to which Weiss was just strapped, who will suffer now.



And, I now have a new favorite Mood/ElitePain model. Sorry Bertha Black. Sorry Angel White. Nancy’s a cutie with girl-next-door charm and a child-like innocence. Look at those soft brown eyes. Look at that tender face. Who would want to hurt a girl like that?

Us, that’s who.

After the guard rips the captive’s clothing away, she’s immediately subjected to the whip. I won't go into excruciating detail, but I will say that, as good as this scene is (and it is good), it could have been so much more intense if a) the view hadn't kept switching to Bata so much and had allowed us to get a better sense of the whipping’s escalating pain, and b) the third camera had actually been in focus so that we could see what the hell was going on (wait, didn't I just say that a second ago?) I hated the effect when Weiss was being whipped, and here it seems like it is even worse.

Still, this scene works very well because a) Nancy (the younger sister) is such a cutie and b) she has a great scream. In another film that she was in – “Ring of Pain: Training Day” – she had a high-pitched yelp. Here, she has a much deeper guttural howl that sounds so much better for the scene. It emotes pain so much better. It will rattle your bones. I will also give her credit for making us weep for her as she endures her whipping.



This is early on. I won't show you what she looks like at the end. Her tears should be evidence enough.



I will, however, tell you that the producers must be mind-readers, because in the bonus footage we get “The Making Of” segment in which we see Nancy’s whipping straight through, without the annoying cut-aways to Bata. It’s as gut-wrenching as you would imagine it would be.



If you're a fan of electro-torture, you'll want this movie in your collection. If you're a fan of pretty girls being whipped, you'll want this movie three-times over. Fans of water torture may be a little disappointed, as will be fans of exposure, showers, and forced masturbation. But this film isn't about those. it’s about showing us the techniques of a military interrogation, and certainly electro-shock and whipping have a long and successful legacy of extracting confessions, certainly more so than the shame of finger-fucking yourself in front of a couple of strangers (“Speak! Or I will force you to orgasm!” just doesn't have the same spark as a shot of electricity).

If ElitePain can bring this same level of production value to its next installment, they just might become legendary for this series. Not only is it fun, it’s educational, too.

Just out of curiosity, am I the only GIMPer who enjoys GIMP and also enjoys watching the show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit? For those not familiar with it, the episodes of Law & Order: SVU often deal with rape and sexual crime themes.

Thomas Chaser: Great review, thanks. It's always interesting to read a review after you've seen the same movie, so you can compare what the other person thought compared to your own reaction. For the most part, I agree with your sentiments, although there's no way I would give an A grade based on the casting. For me to care about what happens to the victim, I have to first be attracted to her. It was sort of the opposite reaction with Ivette Bata. While she gave a strong performance, I couldn't help but be repulsed by the lesbian haircuit, the multiple tattoos and the piercings. And seeing that her scenes comprise at least half the film, that would knock the film down by a grade for me. The whipping scene with the blonde was also marred by her tats, as well.

What made the film a definite must-see, however, were the two great scenes you mentioned, the first being the electro-shock torture with the same blonde. They wisely had her filmed so her tats were out of the frame throughout, unlike in her whipping scene. And then, of course, the stellar whipping scene of the bit-gagged cutie that concluded the movie, one of the best whipping scenes I've seen in quite a long time.

And this is one time I disagree with your contention that the cutaways to Bata were annoying. Her begging and pleading for her sister to not be tortured enhanced the film big time for me. It gave it an extra emotional pull that was missing in the later footage with just the girl being whipped by herself. I'm glad they gave us the option of seeing it both ways, but the cut that made the movie was the one that got me off. The victim was so incredibly cute. You almost felt sorry for her, but I was having too good a time watching her suffer to care.

Ralphus - To a degree I concur with your position on the whole tats and piercings thing. Ivette wouldn't have been my first choice either. I think Zoe Zimmerman ("Plaid Shirt Girl" from "Fear") would've been a better choice to play a student activist and older sister to Nancy. I spotted that bogus "Man's Report" cover for a fake right away. The typography is obviously done with modern digital typesetting. Look at the apostrophe in the word "MAN'S" -- it's a typewriter (straight) single quote instead of a proper printer's quote. The type also looks "stair-stepped" (rastered), meaning it's a bitmapped font.

I'll take that challenge. I saw the film during its original run in theaters, bought the VHS as soon as it came out, then bought the DVD directly from Miss Clarkson when she opened her memorabilia shop (she even autographed it for me). I have no problem doing a write-up oriented for GIMP fans, if Ralphus is up for hosting about 13 or 14 vidcaps (one for every single nude scene in the movie). I can't say the pics will be very good quality, tho. It's a PITA (pain in the ass) to vidcap a DVD when watching it as an MP4 is so much easier. Re: the Arcas informal poll:

Czech psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, based on thousands of regressions to birth and pre-birth experiences using LSD in the early 60's and later holotropic breathing, has developed a map of our earliest experiences and how they relate to our sexuality and emotional drives.

Grof proposes--and is pretty hard to refute--that the experience of being in the womb when the birth process starts, suddenly being forced out of "paradise" but finding no exit (until the cervix opens), produces intense anxiety. The torturous process of going through the birth canal, literally dying to the universe you have known since conception, is sado-masochistic, etc. Depending on where in this process one has unresolved experience, the drive in our lives toward resolution and wholeness focuses on such experience.

I was working til midnight last night, so I'm a bit late to the discussion, but I like the question. So for this historic poll (our first one at the new forum), let's break out the colored font and make it official:

First let me make a comment on Dr. Grof's theory that coming out of the womb causes anxiety and therefore produces sado-masochistic feelings, why wouldn't every baby eventually grow up to be interested in kink? Why are some "normal" and others get turned on by the same things we do? Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that one's sexual proclivities are determined at birth...my theory is that we are "wired" a certain way when we come out and there's no real way to ever change our sexuality, which is why I feel empathy for people who were born gay in a largely straight society. People are much more accepting now, but can you imagine having to keep your sexual feelings bottled up because of a fear of being shunned? Likewise, when I was growing up, I thought I was the only person in the world who saw a pretty girl and got turned on imagining her tied up and having bad things happen to her. What kind of sick person would have thoughts like that? I seriously had a lot of guilt and felt there was something "wrong" with me.

Early on, and I'm talking maybe the age of 5, I discovered I had sadomasochistic desires, even before I knew what sex was and discovered girls. In regard to the poll question, my interest in GIMP began to become obvious in my late teens to early twenties. As to my orientation, I'll give a resounding NO COMMENT to that question. That is something I don't talk about period.

I would support a review of Barbarian Queen. Although I know it will once again bring regrets that the uncut version isn't really available on DVD (if I recall correctly, there is a version on DVD that that has the uncut rape as a bonus extra but it's a low-quality VHS-like scene).

I clearly remember my first GIMP-related dream. I was on a pirate ship crewed by nothing but women. I wasn't the captain, just an observer of sorts. As punishment, two of the women were tied AOH to the bow, just above the waterline, like living figureheads, one above the other. Another was tied to one of the masts while another dangled from a yard-arm. I remember drifting around the ship towards the bow and watching the waves crash over the two girls tied up front.
