Garage Olimpo: I bought this movie years ago on DVD after reading about how great the naked electro-shock scenes were. But guess what? I thought it was a real disappointment. Here's my entry from the upcoming Electro-shock Database, along with some caps.

Elkcreek -- It physically pains me to be in agreement about ANYTHING with the Heritage Foundation, much less RedState. If it's any consolation, several liberal blogs (Balloon Juice and Slacktivist among them) have been vocal in deriding SOPA and PIPA, too.

I disagree with your politicization of SOPA as a Democrat vs Republican thing. The SOPA bill was introduced by Lamar Smith, a Republican congressman from the benighted state of Texas. It was co-sponsored by twelve other congressmen, eight of whom were Republican.

The bill was derailed after the January 18th blackout and accompanying protests and petitions. Although there was plenty of backpeddling to go around, Democrats and Republicans both reversed their positions. I suspect Hollywood money went to members of both parties, even though Hollywood generally sides with Democratic initiatives. SOPA was a Republican initiative, with Democratic support.

The White House stayed fairly neutral. It did not come out against the bill, but it did not wholeheartedly support it. I think the most I heard was a statement to the effect that piracy of copyrighted material is bad, which is not really in dispute.

As for the Republican presidential candidates speaking out against it on January 19th, that was the day after the January 18th blackout and accompanying protests, and I think they were opportunistically riding that backlash bandwagon.

What did you have in mind? The only custom I ever commissioned was with Jane (I mean Amy) and I thought it turned out pretty good.

As if there wasn't enough evidence that US GIMPage is lame compared to what's being produced out of this country, I found this YouTube video of a Mexican TV show called "Mujeres Asesinas". According to Wikipedia, it's a series "that shows the dark side of women who have been mistreated or abused and become cruel murderers. The series shows how violence and death overcome the feminine mind." Sound controversial? I don't know how it plays in Mexico, but just imagine the outcry in this country if someone in the United States made a television program that features the dark and disturbing content I'm about to show here.

I feel pretty bad. I had so many ideas for them. It was just not meant to be.

To date, I've commissioned 28 custom videos from a dozen producers. One of these is still in progress, but the others, save for a single rip-off, are complete. Of those, I'd say about half gave me my money's worth. Five or six were outstanding and compensated for all the disappointments. Ordering customs is not for the timid. You'll never get exactly what you imagine, but when the final product comes close, the payoff is spectacular. It's a lot like gambling: you have to be prepared to lose, but you sometimes win a lot more than you thought possible.

In a previous post, I offered to share my experiences, but no one expressed interest so I did not follow up. In this case, DHT asks specifically about "falling out" with a producer. I'm not sure if that means before or after payment has been rendered. Frankly, the former does not matter. I've negotiated with several potential producers and realized (or they did) that it was not meant to be. Other than some wasted time, little was lost, and I don't consider it a falling out.

The cases in which I rendered full or partial payment and did not receive satisfactory results are a different matter. These could be considered "falling out" situations. In only one case did the producer not deliver at all. Strangely, this was a husband/wife operation which had completed a reasonably well-done custom for me previously. In another instance, a well-known porn-star took my cash and produced a very professional GIMP video without telling me she had put on about 50 pounds since her last promo pics were shot. Another producer took almost three years to complete my project. And that in-progress production I mentioned was commissioned and paid for in October, 2010 - I'm told it will be finished very soon (sigh).

Although all but one of these folks are still in business, I've refused to point fingers and name names because despite the screw-ups and disappointments, I don't believe anyone gets into the GIMP customs business as a deliberate scammer. They come through for most of their clients, and every now and again, things "fall out". That said, if enough GIMPers on this board are considering customs, I'm happy to dish the dirt on those I think are high-risk producers. As Ralphus notes, DHT seems quite circumspect him or herself, and I'd love to know more about his/her story too. Does anyone want to hear more?

On the plus side, I will happily recommend a producer who has consistently met my expectations, and often exceeds them. John Marshall (PKF) has commissioned five customs for me, and I have been happy with the results in each case. Although John and I may differ in our fetish interests, he does not try to sway my requests or modify the video to broaden the market or reduce expenses. He does all he can to satisfy his customers' fantasies, and is up-front and accessible in the planning stages of a project. The only reason I don't patronize PKF exclusively is that John's stable of actresses tends to include mainly tattooed teens (i.e. 19 - 24 year-olds) who don't match my own GIMPette ideal.

So yes, tell us your stories!

What I mean is I don't fit the description of the GIMPer in the preamble. I'm not considering getting any customs made -- I prefer to let the creators do the creating, and I simply judge the results (in the Canadian dictionary, I believe the word used to describe people like me is "lazy").

But even though I have no direct interest in the matter, I do find the sujbect fascinating. I'd like to learn more about it, even if I'm doubtful the lessons learned will ever affect me.

To some extent, it reinforces my thinking on the issue: that some of the "old media" that scream about piracy have actually been pretty slow embracing new innovations. And if they were to embrace the new world, they may not have the same issues with piracy they complain about.

Just a few weeks ago there was a lot of information on the board about Teraz productions. As far as I know, Teraz has not filmed anything set during the inquisition or medieval times, but they do release full-length BDSM features with good production values, plots, character development and so on. The Fantom Kiler series riffs on the Italian Giallo movies of the Sixties and Seventies. The Mark of the Whip films are great if you like a bit of a story to go with your flogging. And the new Time Machine videos draw on a number of sources, including science fiction and historical genres. All are loaded with GIMP and BDSM scenes. Several of these films have been reviewed here.

First off, this isn't a poll. I just want to make sure someone is interested before I go to the trouble of writing anything. I could easily write for days on this subject, so I'll try to break things up a bit. Also, rather than share random anecdotes, I'll lay this out as lessons learned, which may best help others who are thinking of commissioning a custom for the first time. I've wasted a fair bit of money because of things I didn't know (i.e., my own ignorance). Also, false hopes, gullibility and just all-round stupidity have contributed to my failures, so I'll pick at some long-forgotten wounds so you might avoid similar missteps. But do remember that despite the disappointments, even a slow learner like me can report the winners easily compensate for the losers.

I guess a good place to begin would be lessons learned about selecting a producer:

• This may seem obvious to most people, but before you choose a producer, make sure you see their previous output, the more of it the better. I once came very close to ordering a custom without taking this precaution because I was smitten with a particular actress who only worked with a gent who "was just getting started" and could not show me a thing he'd done. Fortunately, I took a pass on that opportunity.
• Make sure the producer you choose has already filmed the type of video you want. If all they've done is a lot of complex rope-work and mild BDSM, they are unlikely to do heavyweight GIMP scenes well. If they employ models who look great but never speak, don't submit a script with lots of dialogue and acting. If they feature nothing but asphyxiation peril, don't expect they will be able to do make-up fx and bloodwork. For example, PKF does a wide range of GIMP fetishes well, but these are only in the death fetish domain. Don't go to a sushi joint if you're craving roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.
• When you are considering a producer who can match your interests and is on a similar wavelength, set your expectations accordingly. No matter what you are imagining when you write your script, the quality and production values of the finished video will be no different than what this producer has done previously. Maybe if you pay three times the going rate, it will look a bit glossier and feature more effects, etc. But if you are expecting Avatar 2 for a thousand bucks, you will be very disappointed. Again, before you choose, make sure you like what you see.
• Try to find a producer who shares your GIMP fetish. At the very least, look for one who understands it. Previous output will provide a clue, but so will your initial inquiries. If the prospective producer seems genuinely excited by your script, that's a good sign. If they provide suggestions, return e-mails promptly, and act like they want your business, great. If they seem disinterested or confused by your request, walk away.
• Does it matter if the company is run by a male or a female? There are a surprising number of custom producers whose business end is handled by a woman. I've commissioned several, and found that so long as these women understand GIMP fetishes, they will do as good or better a job than the guys.
• Understand that commissioning a female producer is not the same as hiring an actress or model who pitches custom projects. There are quite a few porn stars and bondage models who hang their shingles on web sites and model directories. If you are after a specific girl to star in your custom, this may be the best way to get her. However, these women have their own production staff (sometimes their current boyfriend, but sometimes skilled porn directors as well). You'll likely be able to see what the actress/model has done previously, but your mileage will vary depending on who's handling your project. I've tried this route twice, and regretted it both times. In one case, the director played the whole thing for laughs. In the other, the actress's promo pictures and videos were outdated and misleading.
• Beware of one-man operations. A lot of male producers think they can do literally everything but play the victim. You cannot run a camera effectively while you are whipping a GIMPette. Trust me, I've tried. You can usually identify these cheapskates by looking at their work. The camera is either bolted to a tripod at all times, or is used to provide that villain-cam POV shot in which you never see the perp, only hear his invariably annoying voice as you catch an occasional glimpse of what's going on. Often, the final video is no more than one or two badly framed continuous shots. Usually, the lighting, editing, and effects are equally dismal, and the initial quote will be half that of producers who understand that they need to hire actors, perhaps even an assistant and an editor as well. Don't be fooled by the low price.
• Even if it's not a one-man operation, beware of any producer who acts in his or her films. This is not always a deal breaker; I've had both excellent villains and victims portrayed by the men and women who directed some of my customs. As per the previous point, this only succeeds if there is at least one other person on the set to handle the camerawork. But if you sample enough GIMP content, you will soon realize that many producers are trying to satisfy their own fetishes while making a quick buck at the same time. More often than not, these sad-sack characters are old, overweight, bald guys who look and act as threatening as Elmer Fudd. As for the females, the success rate for director-actresses is considerably higher, but in all cases make sure you take a good, hard look at the producer's thespian skills as well as their technical abilities.

That's all I can think of for now regarding choosing a producer. I know, a lot of this seems like common sense, but somehow I managed to ignore many of these obvious points while pursuing custom projects in the past. It's not that I don't have any common sense (though many may argue that), but that in my desire to save money, hire a specific actress, or push a favorite script, I overlooked or failed to check into one or more of these concerns.

Some may disagree with my advice. If so, I'm equally happy to hear other's experiences as share my own. If anyone wants more, like lessons learned about writing a viable script, selecting talent, etc., let me know. I realize many of you may just want me to name the producers I recommend and those to stay away from, but that choice depends a lot on your own particular interests. I know mine are very different than those of other GIMPers, and I certainly have not objectively evaluated all the producers in the BDSM and GIMP communities. That said, I've encountered some first rate companies, and a few true disappointments. Perhaps I'll name names later.

Most of the site seems to have the same content as the old site, although some of it looks a bit better organized. Now, if only the people making the movies could get some of their old mojo back....

A lot of what you mentioned was common sense, such as sampling the producers wares before deciding to commit to a custom. Years ago, a friend of mine asked me to collaborate on a custom idea with WAVE Productions, a production company that made original videos with extreme themes, such as electrocutions, burnings, live roastings, etc. I told him I would help with the concept but didn't want to contribute any funds because I had seen enough of their past work to know that while the creator of WAVE had his heart in the right place, he still didn't quite "get it". And true to form, when I saw the completed project it was technically what my friend had ordered but the overall production was amateurishly done and basically pretty lame. Weak bondage, cheesy special effects, bad editing that gave away the illusion...really, none of it worked.

To be fair, my friend was happy with the end result, but if it had been me, I would have been furious over wasting my money on that movie. But it would have been foolish to have risked it at all because I knew the kind of movies he made already. One couldn't expect he would suddenly improve his filmmaking dramatically just because I was paying for it.

In the case of Maleficarum, I had seen Jane act in only one movie, Agent X, but from that I knew her commitment toward making an excellent production. And I knew from communicating with her via e-mail and her postings to this forum that she truly gets it and understands what it takes to make realistic movie where you can believe the suffering. In a word, I trusted her. She was a proven commodity.

Among other filmmakers who offer customs, I trust John Marshall of PKF. I've seen enough of his work to know he consistently puts out good quality stuff. And that's it. The only other filmmaker I would pay money to for a movie would be Rick Masters, but the Rickster is a lone wolf who makes films for himself and doesn't have to cater to an outsider's whims. He's a true Independent in that regard. He and I just happen to have similar sensibilities as to what constitutes true GIMP entertainment.

A Canadian: Like you, I applaud the idea of the new releases being on the main page of the Attackers website. Video Mayhem does that on their site, too. It makes sense that you put the new stuff out front so that people can see it first.

When I was working at the video store, one of our managers came up with the "bright idea" of getting rid of the New Release section and mixing all the new titles into their respective categories. His justification was that most of the older movies were getting ignored and people only wanted to rent what was new. Well, duh! And surprise, the people that came in were pissed off. It didn't take them long to switch things back.

If Attackers really wants to improve their site, I wish they would come up with an English language version of their site like Inquisition Live does with theirs. English is the number one language in the world, they should cater to us. And then make the films available for purchase on their site, instead of making us resort to finding them though other means.

And then finally, go back to making the kind of nasty, unpredictably over the top productions that Attackers used to put out. The earlier Attackers titles, mainly with Randa Mai as the one wielding the whip, were some of the greatest bondage films ever made. Like you mentioned, they need to stop putting out the same cookie-cutter formula and go back to pushing the envelope once again.

She didn't elaborate, but I suspect that means good things for us.

Somehow, WAVE has lasted 25 years! (See URL for posts from the head-man, Gary) In all that time, they've not changed anything, including the acting or effects. I guess it works for them, so why not?

I'm using the Google Chrome browser and it automatically offers to translate the page for me. (And if it doesn't, I can right-click and choose "Translate to English" in most cases.) Granted, the translations are probably literal and usually don't make a lot of sense. But given the "English" titles I have seen (Rape Daughter and Mom Ripeness Nose and Ass, for example), I'm not sure they are any worse than that. At least I can see which actress is featured in the video, which is nice because too often I cannot tell from the cover images.

For a long time I've been looking for a scene of a very slim girl fully stretched out and whipped on her back. Previous postings indicated Amy would be pulled up on her toes, so that peaked my interest in this one. Getting a glimpse of the final result has made me even more curious. I've never used it, but dmm does have an English website that allows people to download Attackers movies. It's not clear to me whether people from outside of Japan can register, though.

Damn right there is. It's not just a matter of getting my money's worth. For me, it's more about assisting in the development of a filmed whipping scene that corrects for the obvious and annoying flaws in virtually every whipping scene I've ever seen. By the way, I didn't actually give them a script. Rather, I provided them with a list of specifications they should adhere to. You can see some of them in the pic I posted yesterday. The court official reading the sentence aloud is one. Another is the rather thin whipping post (no more than 6 inches in diameter, I think I said) that offers precious little protection from the whip, and from the onlookers' eyes as well. And of course, the very presence of all those onlookers, reveling in our dear Amy's humiliation and suffering.

Somehow, WAVE has lasted 25 years! (See URL for posts from the head-man, Gary) In all that time, they've not changed anything, including the acting or effects. I guess it works for them, so why not?

25 years is extremely impressive, thanks for the link. Gary Whitson certainly got a lot of my money over the years. Your average WAVE tape was $25-30 and I bought around 30 of them at one time or the other. I've gone back and watched my edited highlights of them every now and then and very few of them stand up to the test of time, or maybe my tastes have changed over the years. He did have some pretty women working with him. A lot of people really liked Tina Krause but my favorite was Dawn Murphy, who had those girl-next-door looks and was a pretty decent actress to boot. Funny thing is she never did nudity but apparently had no problem with wet T-shirts.

I have no idea why these lovely young people are being whipped. The movie's something about a tribe of Romanian Gypsies.

Chris Brown appears in his own films, and although the films don't appeal to me the way JohnM's do, they are always very professional looking.

That's why I said "beware" - not "avoid" - and added that producer-actors are not always deal-breakers when it comes to commissioning a custom. Chris started in this business as an actor and assistant to JohnM, then after a bit of turmoil, fired up his own operation. He seems to be doing very well now, and both his acting and production talents are first-rate. Another excellent actor who ran his own production company is Allen Wright, late of Casualties of Horror, who did some wonderful work with Paris Kennedy and Raven Alexis. Max of Dirty Deeds and MaxCoxx.com, who used to post here, acts in his own videos and does a fine job. On the distaff side, Lissa Noble ran DDG for years and portrayed credible villains and victims in many of her productions.

On the other hand, producers like PennPaul, Sir Bruce, Peter of Catharsis, Bluestone, Unger (shudder), Master Snaurg, Hank Samuels, the laid-back dude who runs NRGWomen, among others, would do well to call in third party talent to handle the roles they covet for themselves. Don't get me wrong, some (not all) of these guys are just fine behind the camera. None have anything approaching competent acting skills, and their appearance in their own work often sinks the production. And this list samples only producers specializing in erotic demise. I'm sure there are many more in the other GIMP domains.

I could be wrong, but I believe WAVE was the first company that produced GIMP videos to order for aficionados like us. For that reason alone, they've always had a special place in my heart. I first ordered from them through a classified in some long forgotten fanzine in 1989. To this day I find myself buying one of their titles every two years or so. Maybe half a dozen 5 minute scenes among twenty hours of footage were keepers, most featuring Tina Krause. What puzzles me is that with so much time to perfect his craft, after shooting an impressive array of GIMP material over 25 years, Gary steadfastly sticks to the exact same formula he carved out at the beginning: decidedly unglamorous models plodding through the GIMP equivalent of a high school play. But Gary's still here... and along with Blakemore and Rick Masters, he is among the true pioneers of the genre.

BobViewer: I'm glad you liked the interview with Blakemore. He's a very cool guy, and a real trip to talk to when he launches into one of his stories. I'm no HOM expert (that would be our friend Scribbler) but the movie you're describing sounds a bit like the Erotic Perversion loops, which Blakemore shot for the overseas crowd. There were 9 of them overall, I believe. That was the only time I recall a spiked dildo and several of the loops featured chicks getting needles stuck in their tits. The other companies he worked with were HOM and Cal-Star and they didn't allow such extreme content.

Assuming that's the movie, you may have to do some online searching to track down a copy. I'm not sure who puts them out or even have the rights to that material. Good luck and let us know where you find them.

They just gave you the best publicity your film could have, so use it.

I think we can safely speculate that all are retired from the biz. Chandra last worked with Rick back in the late 1990s, Penelope Pace later than that, but it's been years. Lisa Kinkaid was in Rick's last live action film, Goon Squad 2, from 2009, but I believe her bondage scenes were filmed years before that. To my knowledge, she never filmed with anyone other than Rick. Most adult actresses only shoot for a few years, anyway. Hopefully they are all still with us and healthy and leading more or less normal lives.

YikYakker: Bloody Pit of Horror is a lot of fun. I bought my print from Sinister Cinema years ago and I've showed it to friends who would come over to the house just to have a good time. This is one that needs to be remade for a new generation.

It's too bad that you don't have any GIMPworthy images of Whitney Houston, Ralphus. I was sincerely hoping that you could do a run of Whitney Houston in Merciless Peril images as sort of a GIMP memorial to the singer.

In the Dead But Dreaming vidcaps you show Amy not only bound to a single post, but spread between them. Will both positions come into play as she is flogged, or do you anticipate one position being chosen for the final cut? I for one hope both positions are ingrained somehow, for both are wonderful, and the longer this scene lasts, the better.

The vidcaps are absolutely fantastic. I love the fact she is pulled high up on her toes. Obviously being forced to maintain such a position for an extended period of time would prove very stressful for the victim, but being flogged is done as punishment so this lends even more credibility to the scene, for she should find no respite from her plight even between lashes.

And there is a subtle but important difference between straining on tip-toe verses suspension. When on tip-toe, to ease the strain on her wrists her legs can support her weight, albeit awkwardly, but to do so she has to reach as high as she can. This sucks in her stomach and results in her rib cage jutting out, allowing her tormentors (and viewers) to monitor her breathing and thus better gauge how she is responding to the various phases of her experience. Each breath will be apparent for her stomach will visibly move in and out. The scream resulting from the whip's impact will produce a different effect than her subsequent desperate gasps for air to bring oxygen back into her lungs. As she hears the whistle of the whip slicing through the air on the next stroke, she will likely brace for impact by holding her breath, albeit briefly. Suspension is good too, but has the opposite affect, for a person hanging tends to instinctively tighten up the stomach muscles, dampening the effect on her stomach and rib cage, thus denying us this additional visual impact to some degree.

But even when bound on tip-toe, the suspension aficionados will appreciate the fact that at some point the victim has to give her legs a rest, so she hangs largely by her wrists, giving you what you wish to see. This back-and-forth, straining upwards to ease the arm strain followed by hanging by the wrists to give the legs a rest, should give provide something for everyone, particularly with a long shoot as this has proven to be. Bravo to all of those involved, especially Amy.

I will finish by saying I'm glad someone is finally producing a flogging scene where the victim is stretched out. More subtle nuances of her experience will come to the forefront, at least for those paying attention.

I hope you all did not take my comment about how Amy's Maleficarum bats scenes should have looked the wrong way because I loved it except for the size of the pyre and the thin flames / fire it was terrific to me. And if that the only way you can do the next bats movie scene then please do another one same way but with better looking flames and larger pyre. PLEASE don't do one because you feel like I or other Bats fans need to see a elaborate large bats event like Joan of Arc bats event for in my case that is not true.

"Every Bolivian film before being displayed on our screens should be submitted to the Film Review Commission."

I wonder who the members of that committee and what is its function. Are board members? Are censors? Do you see ALL the movies that pass through the screens or just the Bolivian FBC? And what are the instructions of the commission and based on that criteria evaluate the movies?

But let's see what this commission says Maleficarum, maybe you give us some light on your criteria.

"-Maleficarum contains explicit language that does not fit the current line of programming the FCB."

To my mind a respect for Cinematheque has and must be open to a wide range of proposals film, so much so that movies like Short Bus, which I saw at the Cinematheque, and the films of Bruce Le, who also saw at the Cinematheque , all with high content and explicit language, were not censored

Those are just three examples of a variety of films from Spain, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, etc, no Bolivian with strong and explicit content, which have been exhibited at the Cinematheque.

Has the policy of broad film library in their programming? Or is it simply an act of discrimination to a domestic film with explicit content.

You mean films like Salo, Pasolini, or Von Triers Antichrist have no tread on the Film by having "explicit language" that "does not fit the current line of FCB"?

The above films were shown in normal times. Personally I found a great way that films like The Raspberry Reich and Short Bus are seen in La Paz. Even the film L. A. Zombies, which was rejected by Australia Film Festival because it was banned in that country, was placed at the Cinematheque. A progressive policy now sees alibi acogotada Censorship by a committee composed of who knows whom and with the dwarf power to censor the film.

These two points are only used as reasons for not exhibiting at the Cinematheque Maleficarum.

No mention of technical quality, dramatic, cinematic is bad, good, fair, bad. Not say whether or not commercial enough ... a criterion that should be alien to any Cinematheque is respected.

No, nothing like that. Simply, the Censorship Committee says Maleficarum contains explicit language and therefore there is no appropriate time for submission.

It is not a satisfactory answer, is a poor response and totally lackluster and not expected of an institution that should mark the progress of film culture and kickback.

Honestly, it's a bullshit excuse if they're really claiming language. I don't recall ANY bad language in Maleficarum. What I do recall is lots of scenes of naked women being tortured. And make no question, that's the real reason the film isn't getting shown. It's explicit content that makes them uncomfortable, plain and simple. And the filmmakers should wear that like a badge of honor. They made a very good film about an unpleasant time in history. It's the fact that they did it well is why they're being banned.

I was initially surprised myself to see the two different positions displayed. Then I realized they must have taken one of my specifications for the scene and twisted it just a bit. I don't want to spoil the drama by revealing too much though.

Yep and yep. We just don't get enough forced-to-stand-on-tiptoe action on film, do we? I've always found it more enticing than full suspension. And a major beef I have with almost all previous whipping scenes is that the lovely lady wasn't stretched. In this one, she will be.

It's all a load of "Merde, Merdia or Crap"; and a very lame excuse to censor a fine and well made low budget independent film by a brilliant screenwriter and director.

The scene you refer to is about two-thirds of the way through the movie and happens while her husband -- Gary Oldman -- is out hunting with the ne'er-do-wells (he obviously never saw Straw Dogs ). The scene is very titillating as Virginie is bent over a table -- but only because she is so damn pretty -- for the the villain is interrupted pretty early on. Left me panting for more.

Although the film-makers had no qualms about having the female friend's husband come in with a shotgun and blow a hole in the rapist's chest...to which the little girl reacts, well, as one would expect her to. So once again, extreme violence against men trumps forced sex with women. Well, that's how it goes in mainstream movies.

But it is a decent flick with nice performances, and yes, Virginie is lovely.

I have a particular sympathy for their situation, since I basically did the same thing in the past when I had the fantasy roleplay with the woman I met online. There were a couple of differences between my situation and theirs, though. Number one, I had her bound and gagged in my backseat while I was driving around but she was NOT naked at the time. Living in Portland, I can tell you nobody really cares if you want to do bondage, but that's no excuse for being stupid enough to cruise to several stores hoping to shock people. Bondage and peril need to be done responsibly, lest someone get killed or permanently injured (which could have easily happened here--imagine some do-gooder punching the guy-or worse-to thwart what he believes is a kidnapping).

It seems that there are a couple of fault lines separating contributors. Many of you prefer gagged and terrified damsels in distress -- pure victims. I find myself aligned with the robust minority that prefers defiant heroines, usually in an interrogation scene. Another fault line that has generated occasional fireworks seems to be the precise line of demarcation between acceptable fantasy and reality. I think the business in Portland struck a nerve and in this case, I do not mean to set myself in opposition to Mr. Galt. Some of you are determined to err on the side of conservatism here. I am enough of a feminist to agree that women should almost never be actually tortured (nodding vaguely in the direction of Dershowitzian torture warrants) and in a forum dedicated to woman-torture, a few of us may prefer that the fantasy/reality border be patrolled with vigilance.

Let me offer my own perverse spin on the fantasy reality border. I would never physically hurt a woman. That said, I prefer interrogation scenes that are sufficiently realistic to stimulate female viewers into vicariously experiencing the physical pressure; imagining themselves in the predicament of the heroine and encouraging them to visualize resistance and its consequences. (To this end, I am infuriated by the mindless mantra that torture never works -- of course torture works, that's why everybody uses it. Most people crack at depositions with no worse discomfort than stale donuts. A minimally competent interrogator can, over time, extract truthful answers from all but the most determined adversaries.)

I want a certain type of female viewer -- one who would most closely identify with the heroine -- to vividly imagine herself being tortured as the heroine is tortured. I want her to put herself through the ordeal in her mind. I want her to buy it and to feel it. That's the point of the scene for me -- it is the effect it will have on the woman as much as the effect it will have on me. Thus my pleasure is not only in what is happening to the woman on the screen, but in the contemplation its effect will have on thousands of young women who will re-cast themselves in the role. This creates something of a bias in favour of mainstream scenes, or very well done fetish pieces (e.g. Margot).

Considering Portland in this context, though I am not a DID fan, if the point of the exercise was to enable the putative victim to more accurately access the experience -- I am for it. It's the woman's sexuality and the woman's experience that counts and I want my GIMP scenes to shape her experience; to be suitable for re-creation by her.

I hope this is stimulating rather than disturbing. Women should be honoured and indulged, not abused, in what it pleases us to call real life. But how much more interesting the world will be if we can suitably warp their minds. Apologies for the lack of paragraph breaks.

Actually, I'm not surprised you had to go back a few years. I think the best Attackers movies were produced in the period from 2004 to about 2007, with perhaps some overlap into 2008. The older Attackers titles (older, in any event, in terms of what's available outside of Japan) will serve you best, in my view.

The line that summed it up best in your review was this one: Yuri Kosaka is a very pretty actress with a slender body and nice breasts, who totally sells the schoolgirl bit. Without a doubt, an actress who can sell her scenes makes a huge difference.

I'm not so keen on the schoolgirl victims -- I prefer my JAV victims to be spies, detectives or teachers. So I don't think Shark 338 would work for me. But I do understand John Galt's enthusiasm for a JAV movie that works for him.

I think maybe I stand a better chance of finding a teacher-themed video that I will like, because teachers are "normal" victims and therefore more likely to show fear, intimidation, humiliation, and so forth. Spies and detectives generally skew more toward being tough and in the videos I have seen, tend to be stronger in the face of torture. That's the difference between panicked dialog and crying and stoic grunting and groaning.

As an example, I saw three scenes from CMC-082 that featured that excellent electro scene discussed back in December. One was the electro scene, which I thought was superb and the actress sold the excruciating electrical charge quite well without any need for dialog. (The sweat-slicked body didn't hurt, either.) Then there was the whipping scene from the same video that Travis Lee mentioned in January, which I thought was very good, but could have been improved with greater responsiveness from the victim. The third scene I watched was a rape scene involving the character who was in the electro scene and she just kind of gritted her teeth and numbly suffered through it. That was a bit of a disappointment.

I haven't had much success with the superheroine-themed videos either, for the same reason--that the characters just kind of bear the pain and maybe succumb at the very end. Plus, they tend to stay dressed to a greater degree, probably to remind the viewer that they are, you know, superheroines. *sigh* Those are some wild costumes, though.

I think I can speak for a lot of forum members when I say that most of us would not only agree "that women should almost never be actually tortured," but also go so far as to say that women should never actually be tortured, period, without the "almost" qualifier. Or anyone else, for that matter. You and I obviously disagree on the effectiveness of torture in the Real World. I never thought of that as being a conservative viewpoint, but I suppose on the continuum of a "liberal" use of torture and a "conservative" use of torture that yeah, I'm conservative. Saying that just sounds so wrong to me.

I like your desire to have women vicariously experience the torture in, if not a pleasurable way, then an experiential way. That would be the ideal situation.

Welcome to the board. You've touched on some themes that we have often talked (and disagreed) about in this forum.

I think the glue that holds us together is that regardless of our individual preferences, we all want to see energetic, convincing performances. That includes tormentors as well as victims.

I don't mind well-done fantasies (which, as you've mentioned, tend to be conveyed in mainstream films). Realism doesn't excite me if other persuasive elements are missing, such as non-consensuality, good reactions, tight bondage and/or helpless vulnerability. But on that last point, yes, I do like heroines who are defiant, at least in the early part of a scene.

That puts me in an even smaller minority, those who are too wishy-washy to commit to one side of an argument or the other. ;)

Regarding what you wrote, I think most bondage entertainment is naturally geared toward the male audience, but there are certainly women who find this sort of fantasy appealing. I think more of them would probably be more intrigued by rape than by torture, especially since most can easily imagine being taken but not as many enjoy the thought of something painful happening to them. But they are certainly out there.

I'll never forget the reaction of the woman I met online who I had the fantasy roleplay sessions with. She was really big into being raped, but scared to death of being tortured. Yet while I had her tied up and was whipping her with my belt, she was clearly getting off on it. In fact, I'm the one who stopped it on my own, because welts were showing up on her skin and I didn't want her husband to see the evidence. In regards to the whole discussion involving real life torture, I don't think it has any place in modern society, period, especially not state-sanctioned torture. That shit is sickening and goes against every tenet of human rights that we as a supposedly enlightened liberal (and by "liberal" I mean that we live in a society formed by the classic liberalism of the American and French revolutions) society hold dear. Any potential "usefulness" torture would have is drastically outweighed by the fact that we'd be living in an unfree society where the government tortures its citizens. For fuck's sake. I'm sorry, this is just kind of a touchy subject for me. You listen to people in the middle east talking about how their relatives are arrested by the authorities and tortured, sometimes even killed while in police custody, and people actually have considered exporting that revolting transgression against humanity here? On an unrelated note, I think I've come to the realization that Bobbi Starr is probably one of the most talented people ever to do work in BDSM. There's a video she participated in as dom for Kink that I watched recently, and it's very good. It's not really GIMP material, as there is not much roleplay or storyline at all, but she just plays the part of strong female dominance personified extremely well, I think. As far as Amy tackling a similar scene, dude, you need to check out the trailers and stills in the Red Feline catalog. Amy (under her Red Feline name Jane von Detlefson) has already been bloodily whipped and crucified in multiple films. That was sort of their specialty, actually. I haven't seen most of them, but one for sure where that happened was AristoCrux. I know there have been many more.

I appreciate your comments regarding real-life torture and could not agree with you more. But let me add one more thought -- from experience in the field of interrogation. There are those who would pretend that, although torture is "unfortunate", it is sometimes necessary for the good of the cause. Torture is almost never necessary and the chance that it will yield BAD intelligence is huge. People will literally say anything you want to hear to stop the torture -- accurate or truthful.... or not. And BAD intelligence is worse than NO intelligence and often causes the loss of innocent life when it is relied upon. Regardless of the opinions of the Rumsfelds and the Cheneys and all of those who have watched "24" once too often, it's not the way it works. It is wrong on both levels and those who disagree have never been in a position to know.

That is one of the great things about fantasy GIMP. I am more that willing to watch a woman give up whatever she can to stop the torture, and am very prepared to act upon it.

A bit of feedback to the Scribbler about the GIMP board's animated banner. I know that this is a bit late, as I rarely pay much attention to it. The girls on the "celebrating xxx years" banner look rather masculine, kind of like guys in drag. The girl's muscles look a bit too defined for damsels in distress and the shading on their skin tone makes the skin look course, like a factory worker's.

The board is nearing it's thirteenth anniversary. Let's go back to feminine girls again, girls with curves, girls with smooth skin, etc. The girl used in the 9th anniversary banner was like that and it made her look quite attractive.

Absolutely untrue on both counts. I just did a test and if you use the practice site and don't use tags, it squeezes everything together. That's something you would know if you ever used it, and then I wouldn't have to clean up as many of your HTML coding errors (which I did again this morning). I'm not complainin' but I'm just sayin'...

I've been to many sites where they require HTML, and there's some that are more user friendly and you don't have to write the code. I prefer the latter, obviously, but that's not the way Dreambook is set up. There is an option where Dreambook automatically puts spaces in for you, but then if you use normal HTML, you get DOUBLE spaces between your paragraphs and that messes up all 75 posts on the board, and I have to clean those up, too. We tried that once and it was a nightmare.

This is the best option for the site. We have plenty of instructions as to how to do it, and if you read and follow directions, it's not that hard. Anybody who uses the HTML Practice site will know what errors they're making in advance and clean them up before they post. Putting in HTML tags is one of life's little inconveniences, but if it's the worst thing that happens to you today, I'd say you'll have a pretty good day.

I've seen a handful of their shows; I can tell you that the whipping is definitely real and the girls are really suffering, which is a good thing. But I think you hit on the key that their storylines appear to be on the consensual side. I've never seen any of their women gagged, for instance.

You know, it's really amazing how important a gag is when it comes to bondage scenes. When I see a girl wearing one, even a weak gag like a thin cleave, it automatically implies that the person who made her wear it is trying to keep her quiet for some reason. That wouldn't be the case if it's consensual roleplay. She could easily call out or scream if she's not gagged, and she's not so there goes the threat of danger. Obviously, this isn't all-inclusive, like say in a dungeon setting or an area where even screaming for help would not be of any benefit. But on the whole, a gag is going to improve most scenes. And too many of the production companies don't use them nearly enough.

Be forewarned that although PainGate has been around for many years and has produced perhaps hundreds of scenes, if you join you will have access to only a small portion of them - maybe two dozen scenes. You'll see a mix of new stuff, combined with years-old lower resolution stuff which they rotate in and out. This is a BIG problem I have with PainGate.

Speaking of which, it was an incredibly hard shoot that took three days to complete. Day one, I was dragged in, strip-searched, held down and gang raped by some soldiers. Our makeup artist wanted to watch, and then afterward told me, tears in her eyes, that she really wished she hadn't seen that. A credit to my performance! Day two, stripped and whipped in public, hours on my toes. Again, the makeup artist felt really sorry for me as real welts appeared on my skin in front of her. I think she said, "These are going to take days to disappear!". True enough, they're just fading now. Day three publicly executed.

It was not a fun time, I can tell you, I'm still recovering and getting some feeling back in places. (Steel shackles are not kind). I was naked and exposed to the elements for 2 days from morning 'till night. I couldn't cover up too much in between takes because that would mess up the effects, and I didn't want to waste time retouching. Veronica, who was there the whole time and participated in the scene thought I was crazy.

This scene also brought about an ironic turn of events for us, considering that we were banned very recently by the Cinemateca. We were shooting in a museum owned by the city. The entire time the employees and directors of said museum got a very good loooong look at what was happening. When our contact there came down onto the set, I went over of course, bracing myself, thinking that I might have to be super charming because we were about to be kicked out on our butts. I mean, the entire museum staff had just seen the first part of the whipping scene, standing on the surrounding balconies eating their lunch. I was naked on a platform being whipped.

So, I went over and it was nothing but smiles and handshakes, and how amazing this looks, etc. I made my excuses and went back to the set very confused, but relieved. We hadn't been too clear in our letter about how the scene would play out, even though it is loosely based on how two women in Bolivia during the time of revolution (Bartolina Sisa and Josefa Manzaneda) were dealt with, stripped and whipped in public, and executed.

But here's the punch-line, a few days after we wrapped the scene, our contact at the museum insisted on a meeting with our associate producer Beto. Beto was nervous of course, they museum staff had time to think about what they had seen. He went to the meeting, and lo' and behold, they want us to make a documentary for them to increase the interest of children in the city's museums. Seriously? Yes.

According to Beto, the entire museum staff was so impressed by what they saw, our equipment, how we work, our professionalism, etc, that no one else will do for their documentary. Life is funny sometimes.

So after that I went to NYC for a few days for the CineKink festival, Margot's already posted about that. The audience at the Anthology Film Archives apparently really liked my film, Sirwiñakuy, because they crowded me after the screening and said things like, "That was really sexy, I wish my boyfriend would do that to me.", and "You express things in this movie that I have never had the words to say.", and another filmmaker said, "Your film is so much better than mine." It was very cool. Don't worry, I don't have a big head from all this. I'm a Type-A personality, I don't have time for basking in anything.

I've been dying to hear something from you on your experience with the public whipping scene, but I know you've been both busy and sick and didn't want to pester you. You know, when I first give you my idea for a scene, I couldn't help thinking: "There is no way in hell this is going to happen." I just didn't think it would be practical, either for financial or logistical reasons (or both). But it really has happened (not only that, it sounds as if I'm getting a "public shipping" scene too!) And how you suffered during it! Real welts that lasted for days??? You do know that this makes it all the hotter for us, I'm sure. Although if I had been there I imagine I may have yelled out "CUT!" at some point and demanded that it not continue. Fearing that fantasy had crossed over into reality.

I (and many others no doubt) are extremely excited about this movie and look forward to more.

Here is a shot from one of my faves. The cute naked blonde, locked in stocks, is just irresistable, and she played the girl in merciless peril quite well. As a bonus, the extreme over-acting on the part of the guys dressed as Nazis was utterly hilarious.

Unfortunately, you won't find this scene on their site currently.

Congratulations on all your (well-deserved) successes. Dead But Dreaming sounds intriguing. While it is fun to watch an hour and a half of nothing but torture, I am so ready for a horror film that manages to get the brutality and torture bits right in the context of a larger story. Sounds like this might fit the bill.

Vampyre ??? What could he mean or did he just misspell Vampire? How do you execute a Vampire? Drive a wooden stake into their heart and or stake them out into sun's heat to slowly roast or does JJ has something more sinister for the Vampyre(s)? Can't wait!

So while I was typing this post I get a call from the legendary John Blakemore. That's no big surprise, he calls me a lot. But get this...he told me he's actually been going on the Internet now. Turns out one of his friends told him about this tool that cleans up your past web history, so armed with that knowledge, The Most Paranoid Man in America is finally taking a chance to see what he's been avoiding all these years. The man is 70 years old and an Internet newbie. He barely knows how things work on his computer, doesn't even know how to download a file. But it didn't stop him from asking me where all the sick stuff is. The first thing he asked was, "Do you know any sites where women get hung up by hooks in their tits?" I laughed and told him I saw that in a movie once but didn't know of any websites.

So...can anybody here recommend some sites for my friend? He definitely likes anything having to do with breast torture and needles and skewers. You know, like Torture Galaxy used to put out. Are they even still around? Any other sites put out harsh content like that? Well it's time for another mini review. This one is called Keepsake. For those of you who especially enjoy humiliation and degradation, this obscure little flick from 2008 is right up your alley.

The plot is nothing original but it gets the job done for our purposes. It's the typical woman gets stranded in the middle of nowhere at night, creepy guy shows up to assist, woman is taken hostage and tortured.

The guy is a mute (missing his tongue), which makes him creepier than your average B movie villain spewing out cheesy lines. The first thing he does is put this shock collar on her. Any time she gets out of line he pulls out a little remote and gives her a jolt.

But the best part of the movie comes a little later when he decides it's bath time. The first time he makes her strip she's very shy and reluctant, but eventually complies when he threatens to trigger the collar. You don't see a whole lot as she tries to hide herself as much as possible. But again if you enjoy humiliation it's a very good scene.

The next day he again gets the hose and this time she knows the drill and doesn't bother to cover up. You see full nudity here. Her spirit isn't quite broken, but to see her admit defeat and stand there like a farm animal was appealing.

She then gets shocked by the collar again and thrown around a little while fully naked and you see everything.

As for the rest of the movie, it's only so-so. The bondage crowd will be disappointed to hear she doesn't get tied up a whole lot. Handcuffs are the extent and nothing notable happens to her when she has them on. There are some torture scenes later but they're heavy on gore and don't show any skin (teeth being pulled out and legs being slashed). Oh and those things don't happen to the heroine. He does it to other random women while she's forced to watch.

As to whether the movie in general is worth watching, I tend to skim through these things once the good parts are over so it's hard for me to speak to that. It wasn't embarrassingly bad like some of these low budget movies can be, and it looks fine as far as production values go.

I give this one a C+. The shower scenes are awesome in my opinion, but there's little to see outside of that so it may not be worth seeking out for many of you. For what it's worth, it's selling for cheap on Amazon. Some sellers have it priced under $3.

It's good to hear from you again and thanks for another of your excellent reviews. They are always enlightening and to the point. Keepsake looks like it is right up my alley, particularly because I will go in with reasonable expectations and won't go away drained from what might have been.

You have to feel for Franco, too. The man is in ill-health, he's in his 80s, and now he's lost his lifelong partner. What usually happens to couples that have been together for many years is that when a spouse dies, the other partner oftentimes follows not long afterward. I've been bummed about this ever since I heard this morning.

BigD: Sexually Deranged sounds great (it certainly has an appealing box cover, too). This site is comparing it to another film, Diary of a Sex Offender. That sounds good, too, but I'm still wary of both. Many low-budget horror films promise salacious things and then you find out the woman can't act, or there's lots of cheesy fake blood, or else the bondage is the hands-in-front type. I'm desperate to see caps or a review before I plunk down my ever-dwindling supply of money to check them out.

It's a scene from Garage Olimpo where the girl is about to endure a second shift of electro torture in one day. I really wish they had included some of the actual torture in the movie.

I can just imagine seeing her screaming, drenched with sweat on that table.

The website has dozens of stories in image form including severe whipping, racking, medieval torture, electro torture, rape etc...of young women.

The actual artwork is probably the best 3D art I've seen. Quoom really is amazing.

In any case, that combination of cherubic face and smoking hot sensuality really left an impression on me.

D Santorum - You're welcome! Ha, you caught my spelling mistake. I spotted that right after I posted and our leader corrected it for me. Whipping is so much more fun than shipping, no? Yes, I had real welts that lasted for days. If my skirt had been a few inches shorter at the festival, well... shock and awe most likely would have reigned, but I was pretty sure that it also would have steered the focus away from Dead But Dreaming. The viewers of the scene were people who work in the field of culture, they have a respect for history, knowledge of obscure facts, an appreciation of art, it was fantastic to have them classify what we're doing with Art in general. I'm glad that you're looking forward to our films. We're creative people, so putting all of our ideas and fantasies into a movie is more fulfilling than just showing the action out of context.

Bill K. - There appear to be several ways to spell "vampyre", or "vampire". Jac likes to go for the more dramatic, old-fashioned spelling. I can't reveal what happens to our lady vampires in Outbreak: Curse of the Black Typhus, and Jac's first claim to fame happened with Sirwiñakuy. I'm eager to release it!

Ralphus - It is a good time to come out with a vampire movie. Jac started writing his first vampire script in 1995, I read that one, it's good. And when I decided to stay in Bolivia and make movies, it was presumably to act in a vampire film, based on that original script, in 2005. Since then, I sneakily took over half of the company, and have directed three films, and acted in more. It really was time to finally make the vampire film we had put off for so long. I also have to confess a lifelong fascination with vampires in literature and film. It began around age 6 when I saw the original Fright Night and subsequently slept with a scarf around my neck for a year afterward. True story. While I'm no longer afraid that fictional characters are going to kill me in the night, the fascination remains.

RIP Lina Romay, an exploitation film icon.

Most of the themes will be somewhere in between ZFX, a Jess Franco film, and really brutal fight scenes with just a touch of Kirdy Stevens. I like this board as well as others, but I can't find one for just dedicated impending peril. No ropes, no graphic death, just PERIL mostly. Am I not looking hard enough here, or is there another board that would cover this?

Found the Ascot Distribution Website in Switzerland for some DVDs of Franco classic movies. Their DVDs are pricey but so is a used VHS copy of Barbed Wire Dolls...about $300USD, the current 2012 pricing on Amazon UK...I have a few movie of her on LD...

I have ordered their director's cut of that movie... I will report back when I view it...

ashram: Glad to have you on "board"...ahem, so to speak.

Can you give us some idea of what you like in the way of PERIL? For example:

~ Super-heroine peril, for which a few guys here who follow this closely can give you tips on sites;

~ Gothic peril, which usually shows up with horror or mystery themes

~ Action/adventure peril with car chases and other means of pursuit, flagrant destruction of property and lots of guns and explosions

~ Detective/mystery/crime peril, which may or may not include bondage

~ Sex slave trade/kidnapping peril

~ Ancient/medieval peril (such as Xena or Hercules)

~ Science fiction/supernatural/futuristic peril

~ and so on.

Others here may have some ideas about actual sites, but my experience has been that to find scenes of peril (GIMPish or otherwise) you need to visit sites that have a particular theme or cater to specific tastes.

To answer your question, mostly all of the types you listed with the exception of Xena/Medieval, Car chase, Superheroine, and Rope Peril. There was a site I has bookmarked, that I could have sworn I got the link from here, it focused on agents/heroines getting in over their head, and even the occasional lesbian zombie scene. My goal is to push the envelope, and then give it a little nudge even further.

Let me add my welcome to the forum. Yours would be an interesting and possibly somewhat narrow niche -- impending peril. I am a big fan of impending peril scenes, the scene with Phyllis being terrorized in the tenement in Last House... . That said, it seems that most such scenes are in Mainline offerings which otherwise frequently leave me wanting. The DID website that unfortunately closed down a few months back came close to what you are suggesting-- DID without much violence or bondage. Anyway, I wish you all the best in your endeavor.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this one too. Once a project like this is delayed twice, you can pretty much bet the farm it will never see the light of day. I've been waiting for Twisted Seduction too, which looks like another never-to-be-released tease.

Unfortunately, looks like the sanitizing the producers employed paid off at the box office. The film doubled its investment and took in $24 million this weekend, making it the #1 movie of the week. They've got a hit on their hands. I wish the film had sunk to its death instead...it would have taught them not to cut the "good stuff" out of their movie.

Oh well, we have a while to wait to see if there's an uncut version released. Video ETA estimates the film to come out on DVD sometime in July. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Rack 'Em Up: I feel your pain with The Toy Box. It's a terrific subject for a GIMP movie, but even when you introduced the movie to the forum last year, it was obvious there was something wrong. The film's "official site" was comprised of 2 broken Facebook links, and I can see nothing has changed since then.

I don't know if it's funding issues, but in the case of the movie Uh Clem brought up, it looks like that film can't find a distributor, according to the IMBD comments. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but it wasn't long ago that Hiccup reviewed a rape movie that just came on DVD after sitting on a shelf for 13 years! Let's hope we don't have to wait that long for these 2.

I just have to find the happy medium that will portray my vision with little compromise, while turning a profit.

As much as I commend you on pursuing your vision with little compromise, I doubt you will find the happy medium you seek. The damned thing about sexual fetishes is that they are so fucking specific. You may lose half your potential audience because your victim is brunette as opposed to blonde; and god forbid if she's a redhead. You'll be safe by ruling out hair in the pits, but shave her pubes and you'll likely lose twenty percent of the market. Trust me, pal... you cannot please them all with a "happy medium".

Just read this forum to see how many GIMP variants lurk below what seems to be a common interest. Arms overhead or hands cuffed behind back? Perhaps no bondage at all? Gag or no gag? Rack, gallows, BATS, electro, or something else? Rape or no-sex-we're-British? Superheroine or innocent teen? Set-up or action only? Victim survives or that's-all-folks? I could go on and on. For many of us, the only satisfying scene requires so many elements be in place that only a custom video will fit the bill, and even then it will often fail. Given the endless permutations, a happy medium is all but impossible.

From what I've observed, catering to the themes favored by the majority of GIMP aficionados is a good strategy. Based on available content, rape, asphyxiation, whipping, crucifixion and superheroines seem to be among the preferred content, but more arcane fetishes like feet, necro and even tickling appear to do well. None of these are among my own primary interests, but who am I to judge? Yet they do show up on the 'net... a lot.

The other factor which seems to affect sales is (no surprise) quality. At the risk of sounding like a shill for PKF, I'll point out that John M. - who makes no secret of his own preferences - does a first-rate job of depicting GIMP scenarios of all stripes, and he does his utmost to stay true to the fantasies of his clients. Still, he caters primarily to death fetishists, but he *does* produce a wide variety of videos in that domain. Those looking for superheroines, whipping, and crucifixion likely will have to look elsewhere, but they will not be disappointed. Those seeking albino, midget hookers abused by sentient penguins may have a tad more of a challenge finding what they are after.

In fact I came here specifically tonight to give it an 'A' rating for a mainstream torture scene.

If anyone here liked Salt, or the recently discussed Garage Olimpo, I'd have to say this topped them both easily.

First, these drug mafia guys bust into a CIA operative's apartment, kill her partner, then sacrifice a man to take her alive when she shoots one as they rush her. They quickly beat her up, kick her in the head, and proceed to roll her up in a carpet and throw her in the back of a truck to take her to the bad guy's hideout. Already I was thinking, "Did that just happen? That's going to make somebody's kidnapping database, and this movie is about to get really interesting." I had no idea this movie was going to have a Gimp scene.

Next she's tied AOH, with a really nasty swollen eye from that kick to the head, and the interrogator holds up a cell phone to her. The guy on the other line is in Russia, tells her he knows she's CIA, then gives her one chance to talk. When she refuses to reveal her cover, he says "enjoy your stay at the spa," and tells the captor, "Don't kill her. Call me back when she talks." Pretty awesome build up going on here, if you ask me.

Next scene the SEAL team is being briefed on the rescue op. They go as far as to tell the team, "She's with very bad people, and we're pretty sure she will need to be carried out of there. Again, awesome.

The next morning the team shows up to rescue her, and as they are still getting into position around the baddie compound, we get the payoff scene.

It looks like she's had a rough night, as our once lovely agent is now seen slumped down against a table, covered in blood and sweat. One of her hands appears to be locked in a vice, so at this point its still kind of AOH, but with a battered victim slumped to the ground.

The interrogator starts up a handheld drill and approaches. She hears it and literally begs, "No. No mas, por favor, no mas." She can barely move, but pleads. Does he listen? Nope, as the drill finds its mark we go offscreen and she lets out a desperate, blood-curling scream that every female spy-torture scene ever made would be proud of. Its so loud, the SEAL team on the other side of the fence hears her, and decides, "Its go time."

With my expectations set super low throughout the build up to this moment, I felt this movie more than delivered, considering the film was about the SEAL team, not spy torture.

Later after her extraction, we briefly see a SEAL team medic treat the open hole in her hand left by the drill.

All in all, maybe only 45 seconds of good stuff there, but this stuff is A+ material in my book. I'd rather enjoy that build and hear that one legit scream than watch an entire gimp movie with poorly acted victims.

Her acting and the villains acting and her real looking torture wounds were terrific. I love the movie overall and recommend Gimpers to see it but I just thought that the GIMP scenes were so short that it wasn't a movie most GIMPers want to see. GIMPers go see it just for those terrific short torture scenes it's well worth it. Bill K.

Alex definitely has some ballet training and a great body and an immense pain threshold, but the pics tend to be better for my taste, because she overacts a bit in the vids. My exact sentiments. There is a movie out there that I have seen a snip of a clip which is the ending to a similar scene. From what I can gather from the 10 seconds I've seen is that its a Russian or Polish production that is an interrogation room with steel table. The interrogator had a metal wand that we see sparking off of the table. A woman is unconsious apparently after the interrogation and is untied a removed from the room. She is naked and bathed in sweat and has marks where the electro was administered. If any one out knows where this movie is I would like to know. And from what Kacey1 has written I'm not the only one.

Yeah, she kinda looks like she could be on some Caribbean isle relaxing under a palm tree while the sea breeze blows through her hair.

Still, she's very pretty, and I like that partially undressed look. One way to improve this picture would be to Photoshop a gag or blindfold on her so that blasé look wouldn't be as apparent.

It's little things like that which can make a big difference.

And now for something completely different: I just wanted to pass on to those of you who use the Avast antivirus program that the new version 7 appears to have a few bugs in it. One of the glitches causes Avast to regard the Divx media player as a "suspicious program". When they fight it out, my computer shuts down.. WTF?

I was trying to watch a Jess Franco/Lina Romay movie (in honor of the dearly departed) and it really pissed me off.

Anyway, I'm sticking with the reliable VLC player for now, and I've completely scrapped Avast version 7. Who needs the aggravation?
